2 /5 Allison Grady: Went in for a balayage. Technique was LAZY and results were SLOPPY. I’ve had my hair done by many stylists in the north, so I know how balayage techniques are, and what techniques yield the best results. To do balayage, the GREATEST results meant taking your time to section the hair. You take a 1mm section of the hair, and zig zag across and dye what is on the top layer. I came here after several recommendations, and was so disappointed. The stylist took a good chunk (1 inch thick) of my hair, zig zag and bleached, after the bleaching was done, we went to rinse off the bleach. The chairs for hair wash were so uncomfortable, it hurt my neck... try bending your neck behind than your spine for 15+ mins lol. Sorry off topic, the results were so so sloppy. I look like a high schooler who went and asked her friend to do HIGHLIGHTS for her. After my hair was dried, the stylist went and curled it for me... Hair always looks better curled especially a banged up job, lol. Anyways i look like a high schooler with a botched highlight job.. my “bangs” (they’re baby hairs in the front) are completely YELLOW and the balayage is ORANGE AND BROWN????? I’ve got more black hair than i have brown hair... i went in for a brown balayage like cmon. I seriously am contemplating buying a box of dye and just dying it, it looks horrendous. OH and INSTAGRAM photos are so deceiving. They only post their best work...
