Amy Jo von der Heyde I hope to never need their services again. My husband was taken there from the VA to help with issues related to pancreatic cancer (which at that time it was still thought to be stage II). However my husbands situation did not improve at all from their procedure or assessment. We expressed that we would like to have a new CT done with contrast but the doctor felt it unnecessary. So when he was taken back to the VA, they heard our concerns & did perform the CT. Found out that the cancer was now stage IV. The hospital does not see that there is any issue with those choices made.

Austin Newman My experiences here have been stellar. I can’t speak as a resident, however as a student I’m a huge fan of Augusta. I’ve had nothing but professional and resourceful experiences with the admissions staff. The campus is expansive, clean, and beautiful. During a visit, I noticed a quiet calmness about the campus. Even during class changes, it wasn’t very loud. They have study rooms in the library. Three floors total. The campus has a mixture of very modern facilities and old buildings. It’s a nice way to remind you of the campus heritage. The students are incredibly kind, with a massive amount of diversity. I was unsettled by the fact that the residence halls were not on campus. In fact, they’re almost 15 minutes away. They do have very active transport about the campus. The medical college is close to the residence halls so it’s a nice reminder for the premeds. Overall, a very nice facility with typical and above average professors. The staff are so nice and always wear a smile.

Ade D I went here from 2008 to late 2010 as a general art major. The administration was not great to deal with honestly (though in my experience, most college/university administration is the most egregious aspect, especially financial aid), and the art program at the time was lacking in digital art courses, but overall, the school is pretty good. The atmosphere is relatively friendly and open, the aesthetic of the campus is good, and its in a pretty convenient location.

STAN ANDER I am doing the Information Technology Program. I find that several of the instructors will assist to grasp the concepts and get adequate hands-on for the programming and IT(computer network) related subject than you would get at a four year institution like AU (Augusta University). Student organizations are present but not very active currently. Labs, classrooms and technology support are less than optimal or ideal as would be expected for a technical college. I hope that with the Georgia Cyber Center(GCC) being recently opened here things will change for the better in the schools future.

Carmen CA My daughter did all the requirements for nursing program which was up hill. She received a letter that she wasn’t accepted for nursing school. Very disappointing! No explanation, just to follow other options in which she wants nursing. Is not one problem with this institution but three. I am rushing to get other schools in the area.

The Goddess I went to Augusta tech. 2010-2017 for different things adult education, youre basically teaching yourself, so I stopped, went back to high school, obtain my high school diploma, went back to Augusta tech early childhood education. The classes I had to take the teachers were horrible, my keyboarding class Ill never forget black lady she act like she wanted to fight me, she came and put her hand on me like forcefully grab my arm because I was trying to get the keyboarding down pack without looking but i looked to make sure my fingers placement were on the right keys only she got and attitude thats when she walked to my desk and grabbed my book n grabbed me I stood up so quickly. I was highly mature because I had EVERY RIGHT TO DEFEND MYSELF at that time but being my beautiful self I was taught better but she displayed favoritism towards her male students, I reported her across the hall from our class to That lady in the other room she did nothing. So they need to do a whole entire sweep. change out the teachers, we dont know what you got going on personally in your life for all that need to be set aside, if youre not there to actually teach store information, in people help people, why are you there? Then change my major CMA I was make a killing in my grades I obtained A"s, medical terminology, I love that teacher, your the greatest one I met next I think its insurance management at that time, its been a while. But my other teacher how she speaks in the class, I understood nothing I dont know I understood nothing. Black lady who wore glasses, brown skinned tone always wore wedge heels. I forgot her name, thats how bad it was. I did not complete that major cause her class, I understood nothing what she was talking about, I dont even think she was teaching what we needed, I understood nothing. It made me feel dumb as heck in her class. We go to the computer class to take a test on the computer only.random..Lets just say my brain gets scrambled when Im in her class, and then the math class I had to take a white male teacher. He displayed favoritism amongst his students were very much display favoritism amongst females. give most of his attention towards his favorite females, and I was struggling in his math class. He didnt care, though I would not want my children to go here, I would not want my cousins to go here, I would not want any family member to go here unless they do a change, I thought it be changed after all these years. Idk, theres supposed to be a place of hope, change, help, success, help people succeed. Not take their money, throw them in a major n leave them high and dry struggling, especially after they graduate dont help set them up with connections, job connections, you can set them up with job connections, give them the foot in the door, but the interview is up to them and its on them after that. A letter recommendation would not hurt any of you. People in this world are supposed to help one another. I do that everyday without expecting anything back, I do it because I see. But I do it in silence, not for recognition, not for anything were supposed to help one another. When you think favoritism and all that stuff, only exist in elementary or middle school or high school, you think its no longer after that, but it does, it goes on into universities and technical schools, you glorify people that already are mentally gifted and the ones that struggle or need a little bit more guidance, you leave them dangling,. I did meet some amazing friends along the way, the greatest thing about Augusta tech. . I apologize my psychology class, I aced that class too, I loved it, I love that instructor, she is the best, she is number one next to my medical terminology, teacher, I had at the time, those 2 are amazing, they teach you hear me.

Tykerah Hill I am not a student here, however I hope the school administration see this review on their students. Some of Paine College Students are nice polite and show much reflection from their school standards and teachings. I cannot say the same for all of them. Their mouths are filled with vulgar language and filth. They are rude, impatient and don’t reflect their college in a positive light. I just couldn’t get over the nasty language. My interaction with some of them was at a family orientated arcade. Also, half of the male students smelled like marijuana. Beware if you are looking to attend and coexist with this students. So much for being a Christian College.

Tiffany Jackson Currently attending Paine College and love it, Im still proud to have been a returning student despite all of the personal issues w/ the school. Make no mistake the controversy is not an overall representation of the school or the students, we all are hoping that it will just be "the past" at some point.(2015)

Darrin Griffin Here at the College watching their Homecoming festivities and cheering as I watch the basketball games. But the foul mouth disrespectful students of Paine (some not all) college makes me sad as a father of a college student. Not standing during the National Anthem. The need to curse in every sentence. It saddens me that students of this fine college would behave in such a manner.

Heather Eubanks Some of the best medical attention in the area. These people truly care about someones health. If you want immediate attention this is were you need to go. If your reason for coming is not an emergency yes you will have a wait understandably but my suggestion would be to go early in the morning and they will take you strait back. But you will have the best medical staff in the area.

(9) Reviews Strayer University:

C Thomas I am currently going into my second year with Strayer and everything has been fine up until now and that is why I gave them 2 stars. My financial aid has been a complete wreck this semester and sad part about it is NO ONE can tell my why. My main concern is making sure that I do not owe the school. I have spoken to several people who emailed a "central financial aid team" and that is about it. I still have not heard anything and this has been an on going issue for about 35 days. I have been given a lot of false and misguided information from Strayers faculty and staff. I am completely disappointed on how my issues have been handled or shall I say not handled.
