Joseph I don’t even go to this school and I am absolutely appalled by what I’ve experienced in the last month. I had to take a exam for the department of agriculture it was on December 31 and the school kicked me out of the test because the school was scheduled to close earlier, obviously a miscommunication, but the officer threatened to have me arrested for trespassing If I didn’t leave in the middle of my paid exam and now I can’t get anyone on the phone for over a month to try to reschedule at their cost. They have hung up on me numerous times and the line for the testing department is constantly busy. I would avoid this place like the plague. May God have mercy on your soul if you have to deal with these people.

Лариса Hello, My name’s Larisa. I’ve recently arrived from another country. I planned my life here and my the first step was to enroll for a free ESL course at Gwinnett College, after the course I wanted to continue studying. I visited the college and saw a reputable and reliable institution, which can give me the necessary education. It is essential for me to improve my language skills the soonest in order to get a good job and develop my career. On 14th November I came to apply for the course in person, I had collected and submitted all the required documents. Upon the application I was informed that I joined the group for the course starting in January 2025, and I have to wait for the notification on my e-mail. In view of my future studies I began to prepare and I adjusted my work shedule to the evening shift, infringing my family arrangements and personal life. The long-awaited January has come, there was no news from the college. When I arrived at the campus I heard what a group is full and I was left out… I hadn’t received any notice or calls from the college. Eventually, the assistant from room 812 gave me a list of paid courses. I do not have an opportunity to pay for the courses currently as my position and salary depend on the course. I wanted to complete a course on early child education after ESL courses in this college so much. I’m really sad about the situation. My choice will obviously move to more reliable institutions.

K S Trash school, worst experience ever at a school of higher learning. Only people who don’t know better think this school is good. This is my 3rd college, with my first being dual enrollment and my second being what I thought was my perm school but they discontinued my degree program and I had to transfer here. Worst mistake of my life. Everything has been a fight with this school. The online system is not setup properly for ANYTHING you have to do. Whether that’s enrolling (had issues with that, they kept asking me for documents I already sent and didn’t transfer all my credits properly at first), submitting documents (had issues with that, they’re asking me about/flagging me for things that aren’t relevant to me and/or easily verifiable on their end), or asking questions (can’t reach anybody via phone, you have to email or go in person and I live too far). But don’t bother leaving a voicemail or actually trying to setup an in person appointment. That doesn’t work. When you ask questions via email, they send generic responses that DO NOT answer your questions. I ask them every time I get flagged why they keep asking me for things they can just verify via DegreeWorks/my account and get a response of “thank you for your question. It’s under review and nothing is needed at this time.” EVERY TIME. No answers to my questions and if you email them again asking them to respond to what you’re asking, they copy and paste the same email and send it AGAIN. I’ve been flagged 3 times for 3 different things. It’s like they don’t want me to attend. I always clear it up but isn’t that ridiculous? If it can be cleared, why is it even being flagged. Clearly I didn’t do anything wrong. A lot of foreigners attend and work here so I’m not sure if there’s a language barrier or what but it has been hard to get anything done correctly for me. They’re rude and act like they hate their jobs. I got charged for things I didn’t receive through the bookstore and had to escalate a student complaint to get a response. By the time that happened, I was only able to get a bookstore credit and not my money back. That was a joke because why would I shop here again if you messed up my order the first time and then just never responded to several emails? I finished my degree and now they’re trying to kick me out without letting me complete my certifications unless I pay out of pocket and/or re-enroll. I guess since they got what they wanted: credit towards their graduation rate (which is extremely low btw and I see why). Now I’m trying to appeal THAT and my advisor even sent them the approval and plan to continue and now they’re asking me what happened to cause this “issue”. What do you mean???? Nothing “happened”, I got my degree and wish to continue beyond that!!! I simply want to take 1 more class to complete my cert!! I’m not re-enrolling for ONE class. I can’t stand this school. I would have never come here if my previous school didn’t force my hand.

Gigi Anderson I definitely love this school since I am a student who is experiencing their 2nd year of college. All of the professors are kind and helpful that I experience this school year, and the campus is beautiful. All of the students are kind towards me in my main classes for Spring 2025. The staff is very helpful for advisors who need support. Everyone has different experiences with other schools.

Harley Napolitano Is the school perfect? No. But the teachers are awesome, and many of the faculty/staff are amazingly helpful. The community is small and its often difficult to find people you relate to unless you look. You can find a lot of greatness here, and the people here genuinely care for their students.

Derek I graduated from here 10 years ago with a degree in computer science. While I cant speak to more recent changes, I enjoyed my time there getting my degree. The teachers were very nice, caring, and helped me throughout the years.

Eunjoo Lee I took a leave of absence right after the semester began for Fall, 2020. Reformed University has a tuition refund policy and I got my refund within 2 weeks of submitting the leave of absence paper work. I am so glad that I was a member of Reformed University and looking forward to being back to school soon.
