5 /5 Victor Smith: What a GREAT experience ! I had some rodents chew through wiring in my engine compartment. I was going to repair it myself but, after looking at the extent of the damage, I took it to 815 on County Line Rd in Maple Park. Jake was absolutely fantastic. He repaired my truck in 2 hours ! Very professional in all ways and MUCH cheaper than the dealer. A huge thank you to 815 Auto !

5 /5 Paul K: I live in DeKalb but work in Elk Grove Village. I broke down on I355 in Addison and could have had my vehicle taken anywhere. Addison and Jake are the only mechanics I trust so I paid for the long tow back to Maple Park to have them perform the work I need. This is a testament to the hoesty, quality, price and thoroughness of 815 AUTO. These guys are the best in the business!

5 /5 VassManster: Im not from the immediate area, but my car broke down near 815 Auto--luckily I was able to drive it to their shop. They communicated with me clearly and zeroed in on the possible problem (my front or rear fuel pump). When calling a local auto dealer about parts, they learned my car was under warranty and told me that it would be cheaper for me to take it to the dealer, where I may not have to pay anything for the repair (which because of the part could have been extremely expensive). It turns out they were right. They could have easily taken advantage of me but were straight-forward and on-the-level, so much so that they lost the work. But I wanted to leave this review to thank them for jumping to my aid quickly and recommend their honest service for others. Even though I dont live super close, it makes me want to go back for any future service work. Thank you 815 Auto!

I had brought it to the dealership the week before and they couldnt figure it out. Turns out the problem was a walnut. Will definitely be back next time we need car work. Friendly honest service!

I have had a hard time finding a personal mechanic in the past because I have been scammed and I have a Jeep Patriot that tends to have random, obscure problems. The guys at 815 Auto were reliable and honest about their experience with the make and model of my vehicle. I reached out using their website and they responded to my request within hours to consult and schedule an appointment. They took the time to inspect my vehicle and communicated the needs of my car from high priority to low priority. Their prices were fair for labor and they were great about recommending services based on my budget and cars needs. One of the priorities for my vehicle was fixing an oil pan leak. They suggested to wait for the last 1,000 miles until I was due for my next oil change so I could get the most out of my current oil while my car was still running efficiently. I thought it was cool they helped me brainstorm ways we could save me some money and stay on budget. I had an issue with my car a few days after they worked on it, and they came to my apartment to check out my car and make sure it was safe to transport back to the shop. They found the mistake and fixed it immediately. They took 100% responsibility for it and continue to check in to see how my car is doing. Them taking responsibility and making my safety a priority outweighs the minor mistake, and I will definitely be returning.
