5 /5 Dean Kennedy: I like B.B. Automotive because not only are the prices reasonable, but the mechanic, Brandon Bradley, is somebody I am satisfied I can trust.
I’ve lived in several different places over the years, and I have dealt with only a few auto shops that I could really trust like this. One shop here in Champaign actually tried to cheat me (he’s no longer in business, so there’s no need to name him), and I once had wheel bearings replaced by a large independent shop in another city, and the new bearings wore out again in less than 20,000 miles. On the other hand, there was a shop where I took my car in for a routine tune-up (back when cars still needed tune-ups), and when I picked it up the mechanic said, “I didn’t replace your spark plugs. They didn’t need it.” I was impressed by that level of honesty, and Brandon did practically the same thing for me a couple of times, telling me that I didn’t need something done that I thought I needed. He could have just taken my money, but he didnt.
(I have absolutely no connection to B.B. Auto other than having my servicing done there. I just really like the work he does.)
