5 /5 Jessica T.: Ohh Heavens!! Glory to God this place shines like one of the Lords precious pearls y’all . We are new to the state and tried out our first Sunday at our local church. I picked this church for a couple personal reasons, but the most important was the fact that they are still providing children church.
As for the size of the church, it is small and quaint. It reminds me of a cute brick small town church right out of a movie. They have old school wood bench seating ( very comfortable I might add), bibles placed on the backs of benches with tithe envelopes, and just an old school American comfort. As for modernization they have a worship band upfront playing modern Christian worship songs, so it was great to know those and follow along without staring at the overhead for lyrics.. (which is centered to the front of the church and big enough to follow) they don’t do the “light show” with the lights off or fog machines like some of the big city churches we came from but Glory to God they had me feeling so comfortable and apart of the family of God by their presence I didn’t notice the “extras” we have been used to in the past.
What’s the greatest take away?? We The people - the children of God. They live in this house, and I am so thankful to have been guided here by God! I pray this honest review helps guide more hungry and lost to the doors of God, and at Bethel of Sycamore church.
