5 /5 Adeline Williams: E & J Auto Service is a hidden gem in the city. Took my car in for a brake job and oil change. They were upfront with pricing, no surprises. The staff is friendly, and they even sent me a detailed inspection report via text. Got my car back the next day, running like new. If youre looking for honest, reliable service, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

2 /5 Thomas Ortega: We had been going here for a few years with no issues with basic oil changes. Recently, we had some transmission work done along with an oil change. We noticed after getting the vehicle serviced there was a leak coming from the bottom of the vehicle. We brought the vehicle back for repair and they "fixed" it at no additional charge. Unfortunately, they did not fix the leak. After three to four trips back and forth they were unable to identify and or fix the leak. We then brought it to a different repair shop and they provided us with the pictures of the sloppy patchwork with silicone on our transmission. In the other mechanics opinion, the work underneath the transmission and rear brakes was not done correctly and the heavy silicone was not the proper solution. While we recognize the vehicle was 10 years old. It was very evident that we did not have a leak prior to receiving service at E&J and afterwards it was a constant leak. Overall just a terrible service experience along with communication that often includes us having to call to get updates even once having the business close for the day without even providing an update on service. Just not the proper way to communicate with customers and a failure in servicing the vehicle. Would not recommend.

5 /5 Jaime: I’ve had several good visits at this auto shop. I had one of those Valvoline quick oil change shops really mess up an oil change and the guys at E&J fixed it up for me. They are always professional, accommodating and willing to help. I’ve never had a bad experience going to them for my auto repair needs.

3 /5 jerry: Called to ask for an estimate. They said they dont do estimates over the phone. Mention that it was about maintenance. Definitely not too welcoming or friendly. From previous experiences. The positive is that they fix cars properly. The negative, dealership level costs, and more expensive on at least some maintenance items. Listening is also another issue.
