Theyll be frank about repairs that may not have to be done immediately, and recommend when indeed your vehicle should return.
I started out as a customer of the Gages Lake shop, at the time residing down the street from The Gages Lake road garage. As I have since moved further north, I now visit their Lake Villa shop; once again, thankfully being a short walk away.
That said, even if I were 50 mi away I would still prefer to bring my vehicles here... Theyre trustworthy, competent, and practical. Heck, at both shops there have been occasions when they found less expensive ways to fix an issue and subsequently charged me LESS than their original quote... Passing on the savings to me.
