5 /5 Ernie McGowen: My family and I were on a road trip from Longview Texas to Baton Rouge Louisiana when the battery light came on in the truck just south of Natchitoches on I49. My experience told me that the alternator was out and we were now on battery power. That wouldnt last too long and we would be stranded. I quickly looked up a repair shop close. These guys were twenty miles away. I didnt know if we would make it there before the battery gave out but we did. The owner, Dickey, said that after a test of the charging system by one of his guys that the alternator was going out but said that it would take about three hours to complete the repair. After I explained about the road trip he said he would do the best he could. We walked over to a burger stand about 100 yards away and before we got our food he called me and said the truck was ready. What??? Its one of those "under promise and over deliver" situations. Fair and honest good people. Check them out..
