Joseph Hurley Delgado is a roller coaster. One day, you’re in the office for hours and still nothing gets done, and the next day you’ve graduated and you’re life is better. The prices are ridiculous, the staff is terrible and undersized and the classes are very underfunded for what they charge. But the campus is pretty and conveniently located across from City Park. Overall, I dislike the school more than I liked it.

Marcela Ávila I love it here! This school and its education have always been underrated. I can’t thank them enough for the doors they have helped me open along the transfer path. I am just one semester away from graduating. All I can say is the classes might be a little expensive but they definitely make up for it. If you ever find yourself struggling make sure to reach your closest professors. They are always pleasant in welcoming to help.

Redhotgurl Hands-down definitely the best two-year college I’ve ever been to. The music curriculum is my favorite! You got a check out Mr. Nicotera’s Audio engineering classes with a concentration in music. Also, be sure to sign up for Ms. McDermott’s piano Class she’s the best and she dresses to the tea all the time! She was actually one of my only instructors that came to my graduation and I will forever be grateful for her because she was definitely one of my favorite instructors. I truly enjoyed Mr. Jesse Boyd’s Guitar lessons, it truly helped me through the pandemic because Everyone was quarantined and I was able to have private lessons from one of the best upright bass musician in Jazz! Be sure to sign up for his Jazz Appreciation class! You will thank me later! Most Importantly and well Appreciated, I can not forget our Cutting Edge Music Business coordinator and Music Business Instructor Mr. Eric Cager! I am so grateful for his class because it definitely helped me during the beginning of my business! I was able to learn and utilize what I learned in my business! God bless you all and I will never forget how kind each and everyone of you were to me! I’m definitely a sucker for electives and I couldn’t have have made it across the stage in 2022 without all of you. Love ❤️ Always~Ariel

Will Tulane University is an absolute gem! The campus is breathtakingly beautiful, blending modern facilities with historic charm seamlessly. Walking through the campus feels like exploring a vibrant community filled with lush greenery and stunning architecture at every turn. I think what truly sets Tulane apart is its connection to the vibrant culture of New Orleans. The fusion of academia with the rich local culture creates an unparalleled experience for students. I had the pleasure of visiting during parents weekend, and it was an incredible immersion into university life. The energy, the warmth, and the hospitality of both the faculty and students were remarkable. The citys influence on campus life is palpable, enhancing the overall educational journey. Tulane University not only offers top-notch education but also celebrates diversity and embraces the spirit of New Orleans, making it a truly exceptional place to learn and grow.

shane gilmore I wish I could give the Tulane University a zero (0). That would be more accurate. Actually, a negative number would be the most accurate, as having completed this master’s program at their school of social work was a significant detriment to my life. It had a negative impact and therefore should receive a negative score. I am much worse off professionally and just generally in life for having done this program. If you want to become a therapist RUN FROM THIS PROGRAM. I ended up being charged over $90k and never once, and I am not exaggerating here, not once did I learn a single thing about therapy, being a therapist, modalities of therapy, nothing, nada, zilch. My GPA is almost a perfect 4.0 too (3.95). Im saying that to show that clearly, I understand the information being taught. So, the fact that I learned exactly nothing at any point during this program is not because I was not paying attention or not grasping the information. Also, maybe I shouldn’t be able to breeze through the whole 4 semesters with that kind of score. Graduate school should be pushing us and challenging our ideas and capabilities, not simple weekly essays on how being inclusive and understanding is obviously a good thing. This was my lifes most exceptional waste of time and money, by far. I have discussed our classes and curriculum with several professionals working as social workers as well as other mental health professionals. They are shocked at the complete neglect of any clinical training involved. Each one I have spoken to says that mock therapy sessions and role-playing were major components of their education. NOT ONCE EVER did I do any sort of mock therapy or role play as a mental health clinician of any sort. NEVER ONCE, NOT EVER, NOT EVEN FOR A MOMENT. I am now currently treating a patient caseload of about 35 patients having been entirely taught through my own curious reading and YouTube. There was not even a serious attempt at preparing us for clinical therapy. Also, keep in mind that future employers will not care at all about what school issued your degree. I should have paid more attention to this before choosing a school. That part is my fault, but let me tell you so that you do not make the same mistake. You can get a FAR SUPERIOR education that will carry equal weight on a resume for 1/3rd of the cost that Tulane Charges. Those are just a few of the issues I and my classmates have had with this horrible master’s program, but I doubt I’m allowed the number of characters to this them all here. So that is where I will leave it. In closing, be kind to the future you. Save $60k+ and maybe actually learn something by attending a different school. I wish you and your education the absolute best!

Queen Queen I remember this being the first college I attended. I was the first in my family to go to college so I wasn’t aware of much , but there was staff to help us... Well , this man helped me and we were on a website and he was just telling me everything to click and what to “approve” . Come to find out this man made me accept about 10K in student loans, but for only 1 semester!!! ,Unfortunately this money did not even go toward my classes but to the freshman dorm I lived in ( very dirty ) . I wish he would of explained more to me . I didn’t find out until being at the school for a little while & checking my credit karma .

Natalie Masone Choosing to attend Loyola University New Orleans was the best decision that I have ever made. Here you will find that there is a true community of compassion for students. Additionally, the faculty is approachable and always willing to go the extra mile for their students. Loyola wants to see its students succeed and because of the care and compassion that we receive here, we do succeed. Thank you Loyola. Best 4 years :)

William Schroeder I transferred to Loyola and absolutely loved my experience there for undergrad and graduate school. The school felt safe, was filled with friendly people, and the teachers were very approachable and helpful. The library is really nice as is the rec. The business school could stand to be updated I enjoyed my teachers there. I lived right off campus and could walk or bike to class. I had debated between Tulane and Loyola but what I got from Loyola was incredibly valuable. The academic supports helped me to learn how I best learn and it gave me a lot of confidence that helped my success in life. I am forever grateful for that.

Linda Davis I am currently a graduate nursing student. This has been the profound educational experience I have had in my life. The professors are impeccably knowledgeable and well versed in their areas of expertise. I went back to school to become more marketable in my profession. My impending degree from Loyola will give me the confidence in my career that I am seeking along with speaking volumes to potential employers who welcome an employee with a Loyola degree..

Cooper Cooper Delgado is a great place. I attended prior to moving to the new facility. However, the instructors are great especially "Ms.Tate".The instructors push you to your greatest potential.During my time there, I learned a lot and met many great individuals.Im currently a licensed cosmetologist thanks to the great instructors at DCC.

NOLA RAGZ25 The facility is clean. The staff are helpful and inviting. It is a state of the arts facility. It seems, so much is electronic. Some days, if you have time, you can even receive services in the Barbershop or Cosmetology salon. And the bus stop is right here! Great!
4 /5
A B The staff is incredible. The campus grossly underfunded, despite the immense technology it contains. There is no designated parking outside of the six spaces out front (half of which is handicap parking). There are limited options for online courses, yet Sidney Collier is the only Delgado facility that has the programs that it does (construction, cosmetology, nursing, cadd). This means that a Westbank resident has to drive up to 2 hours a day just to go to and back while also having to park on the street. However, City Park has 9000000 parking lots, 642 English professors, and constant, ongoing construction of new, unnecessary fixtures. Do better, Delgado.

Teneha B Here is where the MAGIC happens. The best & brightest are trained for all things medical. Big brains come together to learn & fostering an environment that is conducive to learning & advancing the future via medical technologies. My mother worked here & as a child, I roamed the halls being a lookey-lu & even now, I am astounded by the advances of medicine & the medical community. I love the LSUHSC Community at large as they get it & understand the major undertaking of the health & well being of the Greater New Orleans Area; what a some what daunting yet accomplishable task. Love the campus expansion & I think it makes for a more comfortable & welcoming environment for students & staff alike.

Walter Diaz Do not attend school here. The absolute worst experience I have ever had. They only care about getting your money and nothing more. If you have a child do NOT bring them or you will be asked to make them completely quiet or leave. Staff is plain rude. For a school with the Virgin Mary all over the place, they hold none of her ideals. The school simply needs to change from a Catholic School or be shut down.
