Laura Baurle-Goode Cheryl is BEST at her job! Shes talkative with her clients and really lets them put their input on the cut! My Mom is 82 and on Oxygen and Cheryl was great with her abs did a fantastic job with her house up over the ears!

Nickole Sutliff Andrea and Julia are fantastic as usual. I have been coming here for many years. Andrea gave my daughter her first hair cut many moons ago. My complaint is the chairs are so horribly uncomfortable and it was extremely hot in the salon. Other than that fantastic as always!

Alexa Abbatantuono My stylist was Regina and she really hit it out of the park. I went in with a picture of a haircut/style that is far shorter than I’ve ever wore so you can imagine I was nervous. Her confidence and delivery blew me away! Thank you Regina for expertise and allowing me to embrace myself confidently!

Bea Taylor My granddaughters hair was pretty bad. Especially after she color it blue and it turn green later. I made appointment with Andrea. She really listen to what my granddaughter wanted as she wanted to go back to her original hair color. On top of everything she has very thick curly hair. What a very beautiful job ! The girls are very professional and fully discuss with me the type of cut and style I am most comfortable with before the scissors even come out and I always leave happy and looking great ..

Caden West Paid $250 for my wife’s hair to be highlighted ash blond from a dark brown. First appointment she left with chunky highlights that were light bronze opposite of what she wanted. After speaking to owner came in the next day with a new stylist that said she could get the original ask, and proceeded to dye her hair back to her natural hair color with no hope to fix it after back to back days of product

Rick James Rachel is absolutely amazing at what she does, especially with colors! My daughter has very curly hair, which can be quite a challenge, but Rachel makes it look effortless. My daughter loves going to her, and every time I mention she needs a haircut, her response is always, ‘Let’s go to Rachel!’ Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a talented and caring stylist.

Courtney Sheeran I followed Rachel Mihill from another location to En Pointe and wouldnt go to anyone else for my color. Not only is Rachel friendly and accommodating, but she is so talented! I typically stick with my copper red with some fun blonde pieces but have also done some fun colors like pink, green, and purple and its always looked wonderful. I also have brought my daughter in for fun colors and cuts. My hair is always so shiny and soft when I leave and I get compliments on it constantly. I wouldnt trust anyone else!

Sierra Hayes After going here I wouldn’t ever trust to go anywhere else! Not only were the and results everything I had hoped for but they were so so much more! I was beyond happy with the way my cut and color came out! And I absolutely loved the environment and employees everyone was absolutely amazing! I always see Rachel but everyone I crossed paths with was so polite and easy to vibe with!

Maria Jacob I came in as walk-in today my stylist was Maggie she was so nice and professional. She took her time with me and the results was a 10/10 I did a cut and flat iron. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I would recommend her hands down and as well as the business very clean and kid friendly.

Steve Bosan My wife and I just went up to lake George for the weekend, two weeks earlier my wife had her first chemo treatment for her cancer. That morning she woke up and her hair was all matted and starting to fall out, we stopped in this salon they took her right away and would not take a dime. I will never forget the tears running down my wifes face when they had to take her hair off, I also had to wipe the tears from my eyes. The women who cut her hair also consoled my wife. Skyler R Been going here for a few years and always have Kara cut my hair and wax my eyebrows. Kara is awesome and always remembers me by name and what style I want my hair cut. She is the only person I trust to cut my hair. Staff is very friendly and I always walk out with what I want. I highly suggest getting your hair cut here and always leave a tip!

Jazmyne Marsh (April 2021) I went in asking for a simple perm, seeing how this was my first perm I’ve ever gotten. My opinion the girl who did my hair didn’t know what she was doing. My hair came out still Straight! My hair today (April 2023) still hasn’t recovered. They charged me 130$, I wouldn’t have even paid 5$ for this kind of service. Not to mention the girl doing my hair was extremely rude!

Donna McCauley Four months ago, before the Covid-19 shutdown, I had my hair cut at a different salon. Im sure the hairdresser was high on something. She not only was obnoxious but gave me a horrible cut. I didnt know where to go once restrictions were eased., but Red Carpet could get me in and the beautician I got was absolutely fantastic. Joy Brewster Emma loved her haircut. I was equally pleased with mine. Our family has gone to the SmartStyle in Queensbury for years. We have had the pleasure of receiving haircuts from several stylists. They have all been awesome. One of our family members has some significant special needs. Her experience has been consistently respectful and inclusive. They talk to her (not me) and listen as she tries to explain what she wants. They are compassionate and understanding. This is consistent across stylists. Places like this establishment are few and far between, and it is always a wonderful experience.

Danny Lombardo Dave is the most CONSISTENT cutter I have ever had. Ive been going to him for over 10 years and have never received a bad cut. When you have difficult hair to cut, experience matters! Ask for Dave.

Amy Schwindt DO NOT get a Keratin process here! Dave does not know what he is doing and he totally FRIED my hair. I sued him in Queensbury town court and WON a judgement against him....he never paid me. Please, save your money and your hair and go elsewhere for a Keratin treatment

Marie Roberts AWFUL business... no guest service at all!!!!! There were 2 young girls working and one was very rude to my husband and son from beginning to end. I was actually mad at my husband for giving her a tip. It was their first time going and definitely our last. She had a very bad attitude the moment they walked in, was arguing with my husband and acted like she didnt even want them to be there.The haircut was okay but the sides were totally uneven. I definitely advise others to try somewhere else!!!!

Kevin Reilly So my son told me he wanted a hair cut. Are usually place was closed and I didnt have time to take him so we went online to sportsclips and made a reservation. When it got close to his appointment we went in. Immediately they said were closing not hello welcome to sports clips. I said I made a reservation. Oh then sign in and we will get to you. Few min. Later Hillary said Ill take you now. Asked how he wanted his hair cut. He said number 1 on the sides to a fi ger length on top with a spike in the front. She asked 2 more times. And she still had no clue how to cut his hair. She goes your finished I looked at it and bit my tongue. She said any adjustments. Theres nothing u can do to it now. Bit shave it or let it grow. I didnt want her touching it anymore. We paid and left. My wife couldnt believe I paid for it let alone tipped her. I would not recommend this place at all. Will never go there again thats for sure.

Butch Martin Today was my first visit to Sports Clips. I was very satisfied with the service. The store was very well kept and staff was very friendly. Hillary was my stylist and was outstanding. I live about 1hour 30 away but will br making thr trip for my next cut.

megan smith Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Tammy at this salon in the mall and you wont be dissappointed. She did an amazing job, took her time to make sure it was what I wanted and styled it great. The price compared to other salons was much better and well worth the work she did. Tammy is a true asset to this salon! Thanks for helping with my hair cut fears today.

Jacquie Walker I was going to a high end salon in Saratoga for years, and paying high end prices. I needed my bangs trimmed and they couldn’t get me in for a week. I was shopping in the Aviation Mall saw Top Cuts and I was thinking how bad could someone screw up bangs. Joanne cut my bangs the best way I have ever had! I have very think hair and told her my bangs are always to heavy. She did them perfectly. She said I can cut your hair and thin it out! Okay what the heck! Best hair cut I’ve had in years! I’ve been going to her ever since and she does my color and high/low lights! She consults with you on what you want and makes suggestions and she is all right about the steps needed to achieve what I’m looking for. Also the very popular shag that has come back she is excellent and doesn’t make you look like a mullet! lol Amazing no frills just excellent talent and quality! Highly recommend Joanne.

Hailey The lady who sits in the front has great conversations but that’s the issue all stylist and everyone else isn’t available. She will ruin your hair and / or eyebrows she is very weird towards you as is everyone that works there as a fair warning refrain from coming here !!

Brianna Phillips My grandmother absolutely loves this place for her eyebrow waxing I couldnt wait to try them out for the first time! Well I get there all of a sudden my grandma and the owner by the way who is also one of the stylist were laughing and making fun of my eyebrows. I looked at both of them and told them they were being rude and that I no longer feel comfortable getting my eyebrows done by someone making fun of me she then said she was "making a statement". As they both sat their laughing like no thats rude. I also told my grandma she was being rude and walked out. Make me feel good about myself not bad. Definitely the worst customer service Ive had in a salon in awhile.

Joanne Shattuck I was extremely impressed with Top Cuts. They have a wonderful crew there and they do a great job on hair. Joanne (Management) is very experienced with hard to color hair and is one of the BEST in the area. I was very pleased with my color and style and would highly recommend this salon.

abra lafontaine I would highly recommend going here for colors and mens cuts!!! Nichole(Nikki) was amazing, she really tries her best to make sure you have the best hair color and cut wise. She took her time to perfect the colors I got done (purples) and asked many questions to see how I liked it. I will be going back for sure!!!

Leslie Balch Asked for a pixie cut, but it’s uneven and I’m missing chunks of hair that she buzzed off around my ears. I have to wear a hair band to hide the bald spots around my ears until my hair grows back. I do not recommend coming here and I never will again! I’m glad my hair grows fast! Unprofessional as well. All I wanted was my haircut. I didn’t want to hear about the girl’s life problems.

xocourtrlox I have been going to this hair studio one for a few years now and usually have no issues. However this passed time a stylist Kelly was working and she was rude and kept telling me my long hair was going to make her run behind. I went there for a full color and paid for a full color but only got my roots done. She seemed awfully upset she actually had to work. Thankfully the manager Kati fixed my hair without a hitch. She’s always friendly and really knows hair.

Heather DeMers Had hair dyed and cut, all that was ok but then I get out to my car and look in the mirror and realize Kelly, who did my hair, got dye all over my face, forehead and neck and didnt even was it off! Was planning to go to dinner from there with my hubs! Thank God I looked in the mirror in the car! I did look in the mirror inside but she had styles my hair so it was all blown forward around my face and over my forehead so it wasnt seen!!

Katrina Gandron Scheduled an appointment 3 months in advance for a wedding hair trial. Got there on time, showed her a couple pictures of desired hairstyle. She was upset my hair was damp. Coworker called off that day, I got the impression she was agitated. Walk-ins came in while she was doing my hair and she was saying how far behind she was getting which really put me off. ( I scheduled this 3 months in advance) at this point I could tell she didnt even want to do the hair trial, so I unbuttoned the cape and asked her how much I owed her, and left. If you need your hair trimmed you could go here. But dont put your important hair days in their hands. It is just a paycheck to them.

Lisa DeMaria I had my beautiful cascading curly / wavy hair cut here in December. I walked upon this salon while looking at kitchenware- SHOULD HAVE BEEN RED FLAG NUMBER 1. I asked the 2 women at the desk if there was someone there very good with curly hair. They said YES! One girl escorts me to her station takes my hair down and was like oh this is longer than i thought- RED FLAG NUMBER 2!!!!! I SHOULD HAVE RUN AWAY AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. Instead I let her continue because I thought my hair anxiety was making me nervous! She starts cutting and Im explaining how I LOVE my hair and how i ONLY let my Westchester County cousins cut it because they own and work in their salons! I told her Ive got some cuts that were too short and horrible- so you probably know where this is headed. While she was washing my hair, I tried making conversation, and I noticed her mumbling under her breath. This was a little weird and freaked me out but again- This is a difficult thing for me to do so I was TRYING to trust the process. I wasnt very confident when I saw her cuts she was doing- and then I noticed there was a LOT of hair on the floor (even though I specifically said I did not want to lose the length- but do need to clean this up from split ends and damage). she had loaded me up with product after doing the cut and then parted my hair down the middle like she was done. I thought 1- the part was AWFUL and extremely unflattering and I was embarrassed looking at myself in the mirror. I quickly flipped it over and saw how I COULD NOT because its so short now. I unfortunately now DO have a center part- where I NEVER DID BEFORE. I look ridiculous. If you compare my current pics to my past pics- you will see the mess she made. Its all different lengths- very short right in the front, too long in one spot where i blow dryed it out bc i was so embarrassed, and you see a longer section! It poofs out like a freaking BROOM. Its the only way I can describe this BS "chop" she did. Its the worst haircut I ever had- and I waited 5 years for this cut! Ive been self trimming at home- and while not perfect? I had the self esteem, and hair anybody would PAY FOR. Now, I want to smash all my mirrors and glass in the house LITERALLY bc I am DISGUSTED to see myself. They refunded me for the cut- but I am so irate. I WILL NEVER RETURN and have advised my friends, family, and everyone I meet, about my experience there. DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AND THEN RUIN THEIR IMAGES!!!!! SERIOUSLY! I can not believe this person is doing haircuts and I feel like a fool for having this done there! Honestly, I was better off having NO hair cutting skills trimming my own hair with paper scissors at my house. I suggest you do the same before ever going here. I will post pictures from my phone if Im able to come back to edit this. But I am really depressed over this, and would not like to see people I know until this grows out again. Very Very VERY unprofessional cut. The manager said she had experience and would like to fix it for me- but truth is, unless they can give me the moment before she started cutting back- I will not be satisfied. My goal is to advise people that there are far better salons with trained and passionate professionals, who arent upset that you have "longer hair" or require more care than another client. Get real, or get a different job. I dont think they realize how this is absolutely RUINING my life looking like this.

Melissa Lanfear Went in for a cut and highlight and ended up only getting a highlight because of the amount of time it took. Did a good job on the color No complaints there. Im Giving only a Four star-rating because of the amount of time it took... way longer than it normally does and the price for just a half head of highlights With no cut was extremely high

Steve Moss Not good. Silly haircuts. I have never fixed a haircut myself but I fixed my sons and my hair after. I thought she forgot to blend it in but seems unlikely since we both had the same shaved to full length look. Shaved to the part is fine, but I had about half an inch on top then like two inches on the side right into a 1/8" shave and the same on the back of my sons head. We had a good laugh about it and it was easily fixable at home and looks good enough now to leave the house.

michelle whorf I had scheduled the design works service for a wash and style. When I arrived, I did not get a wash, just some conditioner gel that was put through anD blew dried. I the. Showed a picture of a style in which the stylist stated she is not that good at braids. The finished product did not look like the photo and I could tell the stylist was struggling. When I got home I had to add a few Bobby pins of my own due to hair being uneven. Ended up okay in the end but was not satisfied with the service or finished product. I probably will not be going back.

Jessica M. Colgan I am so disappointed by the way my brows were waxed. It doesn’t even look neat. I paid just to walk out looking the same! I’m also saddened that they stopped doing eyebrow tinting. I will give them one more chance but honestly she didn’t deserve the money. I do feel badly because she is so nice, but I was more than dissatisfied by the results.

Kahli Petteys I have given this place many chances, and they have never proven themselves worthy. Every time I have gone here (because of location convenience) the woman is rude and does not take her time nor do a good job. Also, I always end up with small red bumps and irritation when I visit here, and this doesnt happen to me at any other threading places. This time is the last time, it was painful and she did a horrible job, my brows are extremely uneven and she missed obvious hairs.. not to mention, I was in the chair for about 1 minute.... that is NOT enough time to do the job correctly. I am so disappointed in this business, I wish I had never given them my service. If you are looking for a GOOD threading place nearby, go to Just Threading in Wilton Mall, they are super friendly, do an amazing job, and wont hurt you.

Emma Rose I walked in with my cousin we were looking to get henna tattoos we asked if we could get them and she started yelling at us telling us my skin was too sensitive and that she would only do it to my cousin. I said “ well maybe you shouldn’t have it on your sign that you have henna tattoos if you only do it to a certain type of skin.

Leslie Goldman Worst threading salon Ive ever been to. The lady did the WORST job! It was like it was her 1st time. She BUTCHERED my eyebrows and left all the hair on my upper lip. Worst $15 ive ever spent in my life. If i could somehow get my money back I would but the lady dodnt even understand what I was saying to her... WORST experienc, please dont go here
