I never get my nails done; so I had no clue what I wanted, it was really great to have someone take the lead and know what would be best for me! I definitely would go back for the pedicure. ...... Just an update after Owners response :) I would definitely give 5 stars; however, the finger nail polish chipped right away. I had been very very careful with my nails. After two days almost all of the white on every fingernail had chipped off - Im not sure if it is my nails, or the quality of polish. By the 3rd day, hardly any polish was left. The 4 stars is for that reason. Im from out of town, so it was unfeasible for me to return to have my nails fixed.

Stephanie Alvarez Let me start off by saying that I had no intentions of writing this review with as low of a star. However, I feel it’s necessary in the event this happens to another person. I went to this nail salon after I saw a co-worker nails and thought their design and nails were really nice. She had only a gel manicure. I asked my co-worker who did her nails and she said Monica. I booked an appointment with Monica on 6/25. When I arrived the location was neat organized and clean. She began doing my nails, she was nice, professional and I barely had to wait to be seen. However, as she progressed doing my nails I knew I was not going to like them they were really thick, did not look natural at all and some were crooked. In addition, she did my left thumb 3 times because the gel kept lifting from my nail, completely. I have never experienced this and I have been doing my nails since I was 16, I’m 34 for reference. Her coworker asked if this has ever happened to me as if it was an issue with me and not with the technician or materials! Nonetheless, I already decided to move forward and just not return. Once Monica got to painting my nails the nails looked worse, she put 3 coats of polish, which made them look even thicker. I just wanted to leave at this point but I had also scheduled a pedicure. The pedicure was mediocre. I guess Monica could tell I was unhappy and I had pointed out the gel polish on my right thumb was also lifting, I have never seen that before either. She asked if she could do the polish over because she too didn’t like how they turned out. Initially I said no because I was there since 4:45 and it was almost 7, but later agreed. After, redoing the polish and filing down the gel I was okay with them. But didn’t f get at what I wanted and was there for 3 hours. The very next day while out shopping I looked down only to see another nail completely gone! At this point the salon was closed. I called the following morning and while on the phone 2 other nail are visibly lifted and came right off! The male on the phone stated that Monica informed him that it may be a concern the day I got my nails done and to come in to have them fixed. Through the day more came off and I literally could just pull the get apart. I have had press on nails that lasted longer that these nails. I called back and requested a refund because at this point I don’t want anyone there touching my nails. Only to be given a return phone call stating that in order to get a full refund I have to go in person and have the nails removed! What nails?! They were all gone! I’m still awaiting to hear from the owner who I requested to speak to directly. Please see photos, I can’t make this up!

Destiny Guzman Went here for the first time today and love my nails. I went with Ana and she gave me the design and shape I wanted. Very good experience. Also got a herbal pedicure which was relaxing and nice. I had no pain during either experience when it comes to clipping and filing the nails which I experienced in the past with other salons. Will definitely be back again!

F J I spoke to Marcos on the phone and made an appt for me and my daughter. We arrived and he said he couldnt accommodate what we wanted in the amount of time before they closed. We were told to arrive at 4 when I called at 3 and they close at 7 smh. We will not be back. He was rude. We just wanted to get gel Manis ans pedicure. I needed a fill in and my daughter needed a full set

Lyane Bernard Went to this salon yesterday after work since Ive heard great things about them and people must not know about nails or I just got the worst person because not even 24 hours later 3 of my nails barely have gel on them and Ive been getting gel done for years and never has this ever happened to me. Skyler Hogan i’ve been going to french connection for about a year now getting my nails done i went yesterday morning 1/15/25 and I got square acrylic nails with gel, polish, and today 1/16/25 The Gel on my nail is starting to peel and the nails are starting to lift. I’ve never had a problem with them before and I love their Salon but it’s aggravating that it’s not even been 24 hours and my nails are already coming off and peeling.

Antonia Galiouris I just recently moved to the area from the city and was nervous that I wouldn’t find a nail salon that was as good as the ones in the city. Thankfully I found French Connection in Cairo and this salon is actually BETTER than any I’ve been to. Every person that works here is very professional and does an excellent job. The salon is beautiful, clean and very spacious. The owner (Tan) is amazing, kind and did my nails so beautifully for my baby shower! I never do anything different with my nails but he convinced me to do something fun and blue since I’m having a boy and I absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this salon!!! I can’t wait to go back!

Korinee Hawley I went here on short notice and was accepted in as soon as I got there. I was suggested their newest product Tiara which is a beautiful nail and has such a cool application process!! They are much stronger than that of ANC and that used to be my go to style but now I will probably stick to Tiara. Would highly recommend and the design on my nails was spot on!! Nail credit - Tan

Paulie We made appointments for a Saturday later in the afternoon. 2 adults 2 children. The children got manis and pedis and wanted easter colors. On hands and feet. The work done was excellent. The children and adults were extremely pleased. As a man sometimes it feels uneasy walking in to get a pedi,, this place is welcoming and friendly. Mayra did my pedi and leg massage and I was falling asleep it was so relaxing. I will definitely be back.i recommend this business for all and ask for Mayra if your legs are sore. She is a professional with a perfectionists touch.

Cerul Deidre (MzOuiser) All of the nail technicians do top-quality work. I have brought my 84-year old dad in for a mani-padi since he cant see his nails well enough to clip them anymore, and they took wonderful care of him. I go there regularly for powder dip nails and they always do a perfect job, even with more challenging ombre styles! Kevin and Tony are both brilliant massage therapists as well!

Im not your typical nail salon go-er, but ive gone to enough different places in my lifetime to know that this place is a gem. the people here are so great. Theyre friendly and welcoming, relatable and personalable, you can really talk to them about what youd like and they really listen. Theyve got skills for days-of course-lol but the real reason I keep coming back is because of the people. The place is cute, clean, good ambiance and all that. Their gel nails legit stand up to some hard stuff too. I ran an obstacle course race w a set of nails by them and they didnt chip or anything! Theyve withstood quite a beating in my day to day and have only gotten a chip or crack when Ive been well over due for fill. So yeah, I highly recommend

Sea Tee Ive been here twice now. First the positives. The salon is in a nice looking strip mall location with decent parking. I was warmly greeted both times I arrived for my appointments, and the wait time was minimal. The nail tech from my first appointment was nice and did a good job. She was happy to fix a small issue with the polish and she seemed like she wanted me to be pleased with the job she did. When I was unable to get a fill-in appointment with this same nail tech until three weeks later, my nails were still stuck on with no lifting. As for the negatives, I came in for my second appointment and was told when I walked in that the person I made the appointment with was out, so another woman did my nails. I wasnt thrilled with the service this time though. The manicure and pedicure were among the most basic Ive ever had at any salon. Most of the time was spent filing off the gel polish from last time, so I really didnt have much of a soak during the pedicure. The foot scrubbing was very minimal as was any lotion application. Honestly, my feet look better when I use sugar scrub and do them myself in the shower. When she did my nails, it was actually painful since the file got me a few times. My nails are not uniform in shape and length, so I will file them myself to make them more even, but theyre not horrendous. For the cost, I am pretty underwhelmed overall though. Ive been to other places where the basic mani and pedi includes more, so while there are some positives here, Im on the fence about returning. Like another reviewer said, you might need to experiment with different people. UPDATE: I just had a fill at a different salon. All but two of my gel overlays had to be redone. They basically popped off with minimal effort! Yikes! I wasnt super confident with the last service I had, but again, if you like this location and are happy here, it might be best to try a few different people because I definitely had a better experience the first time.

Smile Hamilton This was the absolute worst gel manicure I have ever received. If I could give a zero rating, I would. The tech filed my nails barely, in which I had to take the file and shape my nails to the desired shape after I asked her twice. She sloppily painted my nails and used only one coat. She didnt clip my cuticles. She barely pushed them back and applied one coat of nail polish. She then proceeds to put the smallest amount of lotion(enough to cover 1 finger) on my hand. Slightly rubs the lotion and pats my hand with a hot towel. I do not recommend this place. Along with the fact they could care less about the quality of service, the tech was not friendly at all. Go somewhere else. An absolute waste of time and money.

Sharane Stewart Customer service is amazing. Ladies are friendly. Salon is clean with a tranquil ambiance. They have quality products and alot of colors to chose from. I thought the price was a bit expensive. Jenny did a great job with my powder set. I wasnt impressed with my pedicure however. The young lady who did my feet was sweet but did not pay attention to tiny details. My heels needed to be scrubed a bit more to remove the dead skin buildup and my toenails were not polished properly. I would recommend this salon but ensure that you are getting what you want.

Cynthia Rodriguez This is the second time I came to Awesome Nails, giving them the benefit of the doubt due to my first experience. I originally scheduled an appointment with Awesome Nails because a friend highly recommended them, specifically David. I called to schedule with David, and Helen, who answered the phone told me “he’s off today”. So I sat with Helen, who had an attitude, and was extremely rough on my hands. I got a UV Gel manicure and was done/rushed within 30mins. The timing was amazing, but the care and customer service was horrible. Not only that, there was a male sitting at an empty work station and a customer getting ready to leave says “Bye David, thank you!”. So she lied saying he was off, but he was there. It was really strange, it seemed it bothered her that I requested David. Not sure if that’s her husband, but it just seemed like personal issues between them. Fast forward to today, I walk in for my 3pm appointment and end up sitting with David because he was actually the only one available. I’m thinking, great! But, no. He was worse than her and even missed spots on a few of my nails that weren’t completely covered with the UV Gel. He too was rude and rough that I had to ask him if he was okay and if he was having a bad day? I’m paying for this service, they’re not doing my nails for free. I don’t understand the rudeness, the physical roughness with handling my UV Gel manicure, and the overall attitude. I’m just so disappointed and unhappy I wish I could get my $45 back. I had to write this thorough review because it’s not right. Part of what we pay for is the customer service. I honestly don’t know how this nail shop is still up and running. I would highly not recommend this place.

Vita They are so professional there. Polite, quiet, nice music on and very clean. I love the woman who did my nails, her name is Cindy. I had a acrylic fill (second one) and she was quick while being gentle and made them look so natural which btw is hard to achieve without noticing artificial nail underneath. I was given a gift card to this business and have never been here before.This place is way too over priced.. I have never spent so much money on my nails and have had better experiences at literally every other place I have been too!!! There was not much of a selection of colors, they charged an extra $20 for a gel pedicure on top of the price (other places do not do this) they charged me $70 for UV gel.. and the owner was not friendly because I wanted my nails short. I would never come again. Also they do not do callus remover on a ($38) pedicure you will have to do the ($45) one..

The young lady that took care of me was very friendly but a novice. She skipped some steps during my pedicure and my gel manicure didnt even last a week. Disappointing considering I paid close to $70 including tip. However, the calf massage was wonderful.

Jessica Arguera DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY! So rude the lady started laughing when I asked for her to fix them as if I was saying something funny. You can see my thumb my real nail isn’t even fully covered by the acrylic and my other finger it looks like all the acrylic got bunched up in one corner. So disappointed. $94 for nothing.

Adalgisa Rivera The lady was nice but she didn’t even take 15 mins doing my foot pedicure. She barely scrub the bottom of my feet and I still have some loose skin on bottom of my feet and didn’t cut the skins around all the nails. She barely massaged my feet when she put lotion. When they asked her to do my feet in there language she appeared to not want to do it because I asked for someone with ingrown experience for pedicures. I didn’t get any nail polish and I was charged $33. I will not be returning back to this place at all!

sabrina spiecker i made an appointment for a regular pedicure and gel manicure with designs. pedicure was first the man who was doing the pedicure said “gel or powder polish?” i said “regular please.” “regular no good” i asked “why not?” he continued to stare past me for 40 seconds and said “i don’t know.” i insisted regular polish. i asked to do a sunflower on both of my big toes. he ignored me. he was about to put the clear on when i said “i asked for a design” he goes to get the colors (not even sun flower colors) and then comes back sits down looks at my toes and says “regular polish no good for designs” so i wind up NOT getting what i had asked for. just plain toes. my gel manicure comes he doesn’t oil my cuticles before cutting, so he was pulling on them not even cutting them. possibly the cutter wasn’t sharp enough. barely cleaned my nails nice. i had to come home & clean up my own cuticles. i asked for a sunflower on two of my fingers and it looks like an 8 year old did them. it was also $5 per nail design. i regret not standing up for myself in the moment. because i am EXTREMELY unsatisfied with what i paid for. $88 to be exact. i will NEVER go here again.

Amanda Leigh I’ve been coming here for years, most times good experience, occasionally amazing experience! Long and short acrylics tend to come out nice; today Gina gave me the most amazing pedicure I’ve ever had. My new set came out nice as well, however overall I suggest removing acrylics by yourself. That is the only service I do not enjoy here as it is typically painful and I’ve just had to wait a month before my natural nails could handle the acrylic again (: Customer service is always good and friendly!

Adrienne Asencio I went here knowing it had terrible reviews but I figured how can they really mess up a gel pedi??? Well they managed to. And I’m sorry I over estimated them. The Polish was terrible it was half shiny and full. I hated it. The massage was barely her touching my skin. Just lack of customer service $45 down the drain.
