Farrah Faye Vasquez This place needs some updated pictures. They had some nail work displayed which I asked for and this is what I got. I’m not a nail tech professional so I let him do his thing but correct me if I’m wrong that nails should be mirrored unless you mentioned you want different nail designs (which I didn’t)

Olivia Papandreou I’ve only been to this salon a couple of times since they went under new owners, and my visit today will be the last. The older lady with the shorter bob-cut hair did my nails and with the way she did them, you would think she got her cosmetology license yesterday, or maybe doesn’t have one at all. I got powder gel with a coffin shape and matte finish and she messed up horribly. The end result was so bulky and thick and the shape was basically gone, and she hardly filed them to try and shape/fix them after I told her they needed to be filed down. She also did not fix my cuticle when she cut it too much and my finger started bleeding. Didn’t even acknowledge it. My finger was still bleeding when I got home. Rita looked at my nails when she was “finished”, and basically redid my entire manicure for me. They looked 10000x better but if that other lady was expecting me to pay full price for the horrible job she did, she’s sadly mistaken. Didn’t even tip her. The equipment they use also looked very dirty and unsanitary. Rita did a great job fixing my nails up, but I will not be coming back here.

Yong Sun They have a new owner and have a 15% discount, rita is really a great manicurist, very good at making powder Gel, they provide high quality service and products. The shop is clean ，I love the place.

Keisha Hamm Do not go here!! Way over priced!! $50 fill in on acrylic nails!! The lady doing nails is phony, and wont stop talking to u whole doing nails!! She said she loved me. I said, "Really?! Yeah, because Im paying $50 for a fill-in. I also asked how much for French design, she said $15 more. I told her the sign said $10. Anyway, I got my French design. I didnt tip. $60 for this. I didnt really like it. I couldnt relax because she kept talking. And I just got off from work. No one was in there. The following week my nails started coming off. I didnt go back. I just crazy glued them back on. My first and last time there.

Clara Ji I had a wonderful experience at mineola nails today! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at ease right away. I decided to get a new set for my nails and I am absolutely thrilled with both the design and the craftsmanship. The prices are very reasonable, which is a great bonus. Also, I must mention the Spa Pedicure – the massage was fantastic and so relaxing. Highly recommend mineola nails for anyone looking for quality nail services at great prices!

aman bal Plz don’t go to this place I went there two times they are horrible the nails and glue she use is so cheap my nails got chipped after two days when I go back to her she talk to me so rude in front of customers i don’t have time to fix and they ask for tip plz give me the tip I have never seen place like this before plz don’t waste ur time with them.

claudia cardenas The two workers are great very nice and outgoing the owner always trys to force you into getting a massage or other services from her menu even after saying No she continues to insist i have got the massage before it was great done by chris. but i wont be returning because of owner its pricey and she always insisting to get something different or more pricey than what you want she even asks if your tipping like ahh yes i was but now i dont want too and as i was there a lady walked in complaining about her nails and the owner was very rude said she always does that and she wont be fixing her nails..

Victoria Constantinescu Do not recommend this place. At all. I spent $50 on dip powder nails that were done incorrectly. Dip powder should not have a top coat that requires UV light. Less than a day later, the top clear coat has peeled off because they didn’t have the proper top coat for powder manicure. Complete waste of my money.

Nicki Stephen I went to Diva’s Nails for a gel manicure on 05/03/2022 and it was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a nail salon. The nail tech named Sandra cut four of my fingers as she was cleaning my cuticles. There was so much blood and she kept on using the same cotton dipped in alcohol for all four fingers to clean up the blood. She was trying to not make Jenny (the owner) see. After a while of trying to make the bleeding stop, I got up and went to Jenny and asked her if she has anything to stop the bleeding. She said they have a dropper and brushed it off to another employee. I walked over to the employee she was directing to get the dropper and she came back with bandaids. At this point, I told them that I don’t want to continue the manicure and I put three bandaids on my fingers. She completely ruined my cuticles and I will not be returning.

Christina Gallo UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Cannot say enough good things about this nail salon! Super clean, calming and fairly priced. They accomplished exactly the nails I wanted. I got pink powder gel and they came out great! I used to go to the Muses Nails in St. James, and when they suggested Muse Nails in Mineola (since I have moved) I needed to give them a try! Already booked my next appointment!

Tee Ann Got my nails done last Monday. It is now Tuesday and two of my nails already broke! I paid way too much for these to break so easily. Got an acrylic full set and gel polish on top. Had to glue it on back myself. Disappointed.

Christine Cook I went here 4 days ago for a powder gel manicure on a break from work. First, I want to say the women here were incredibly nice. However, I was also incredibly disappointed with the service. After 2 days, my nails started chipping. Now, 4 days later, they are almost all chipped. I get gel manicures regularly and this has never happened before. They also did my powder gel manicure in 30 minutes. I have never had one that quick before. Obviously, a step must have been skipped because the quality is just not there. It looks like I got a $10 regular manicure not a $50 powder gel. This isn’t near my house or on my way home, so I can’t go there and have them fix it. Now, I need to go get another gel manicure somewhere else to fix this mess. My nails are also cracking and breaking. Normally, after a powder gel manicure my nails start growing because they are so protected. This is not the case.

Nim Singh Decided to try this salon since it’s brand new. Exceptionally clean and a good variety of color choices. Got a pedicure and full set manicure. Their attention to detail and professionalism is amazing! I didn’t feel rushed and really felt like they were willing to spend the extra time to give me exactly what I needed and wanted. My hands and feet were in terrible shape and they did an exceptional job! Definitely making this my go to neighborhood spot for my mani and pedis.

Rebecca Rogak I came in as a first time customer to Sun Nails since I recently moved nearby. I always get a sculpted gel manicure, and my nails were admittedly quite grown out between appointments. Part of the reason is because I usually do not like the process of a sculpted gel manicure because my natural nails are thin and sensitive. However the male tech who did my manicure (didnt catch/recall his name, Im sorry!) did an AMAZING job. There was 0 discomfort. My cuticles looked and felt PERFECT afterward; no redness or over clipping. Very attentive to detail. I asked for a blue cat eye nail polish, short but pointy shape, and they came out absolutely fabulous. I also got a regular pedicure and the tech was also very attentive to detail and was kind. Everyone there was friendly. This will definitely be my new salon.

My cousin got a nice and relaxing pedicure and manicure from Lily. Services and prices were great.They provided us each with a bottle of water and great conversation. Very kind and was accommodating to us just walking in. Definitely will be coming here on a regular!

Hilary G. Some of the nicest people who always do a great job on my and my family members’ nails! They stand behind their services and are easy to talk to and do business with. The owner Jay is very accommodating and everyone makes each experience a relaxing and easy one. I tend to get powder manicures that last for weeks and their entire location is kept clean and sanitary. If my nails ever do become chipped or broken (which is rare!), I call them up and they take me without a problem and fix anything that needs fixing (without a charge too). Haylie Baum Nails world is the BEST!!!! BEST prices, best staff. They give the best gel manicure it lasts for weeks no chips with great color choices. The pedicure is amazing with hot wax and hot rock. the Gel manicure does not ruin your nails. Could not recommend them enough I have been coming here for years

Errah Fawad This is what my nails looked like 40-seconds after leaving the store. The workers are very sweet and elderly but please don’t waste your time and money here. Their service is very poor and they don’t listen to your requests. They speed through the process and aren’t very delicate with the nails. I went to get a gel removal and a regular manicure without an appointment, so there was a 40-minute waiting period. When it was my turn, the woman took one look at my long nails and immediately started cutting the tips without asking me. I was very startled and asked her very specifically that I like my length and I only want to shape them. She didn’t listen to me and completely filed my nail down (my original length was much longer). In the picture you can see my right hand nails are much shorter than my left hand and all together it looks weird. I also asked for a rounded square shape but the woman insisted my nails were square and filed them an odd shape. Then I had to insist to do almond instead because the worker kept getting confused and had shaved my entire length at this point. After she painted my nails, they kept it under a drying machine for ten minutes and insured that my nail paint won’t move, but as soon as I left the store it began smudging and peeling away. I’m very disappointed by my entire experience. Also, they ask you to pay in the middle of the service. My total cost was 17$, so I handed a 20$ bill and got three dollars back which the woman kept on the table for me. When I went to wear my coat and returned the three dollars had disappeared as they thought it was their tip. Now I’m not a scrooge and I was going to tip them at the end, but this was just off. Again, the women were very sweet but I didn’t appreciate being scammed like this.

Ariel Florian I had one of the best experiences in the Nail Lab Ny salon that I have ever had at a salon. Carolina was very patient and sweet, asking me every time if the job was coming out as I wished. Even after deciding on the color and changing my mind multiple times, she accommodated me completely and made sure to make me feel comfortable (asking her associate Georgia to place a pillow by my back after seeing I was in discomfort from sitting for a while) Her associate Georgia, was super friendly, kind ( bringing me tea and a water), and fun to talk to! We discussed various beauty procedures and was there in case I had any questions. Overall I had a suburb experience and will definitely be back.
