Hanah Fischer October 7th 2023 Bride here!! We went to mirror mirror for the wedding it was nothing short or amazing! I went into get a trial before hand she worked with me on scheduling so that it would be for my bachelorette party it came out beautiful. I had one complaint on our trial run, she reassured me she seen what I was saying and made sure to fix it before I left day of trial and it wasn’t an issue day of the wedding. ( the hairs framing my face proofed up she clipped them up which made a huge difference ) They did mine and seven other girls hair for my wedding! Definitely recommend them for any services!!

Katherine McGrane Highly recommend! Janice & Jamie provide an amazing client centered experience as soon as you walk in the door. I had color correction, balayage, conditioning/strengthening treatments, cut, & blowout done. All services were done impeccably & quickly & were reasonably priced. Janice & Jamie were both extremely knowledgeable & friendly. 10/10 customer service. I have NEVER left a salon looking & feeling so good.

Rachel Nadynia I went for the first time to get all my hair dyed brown & showed a picture too. I paid $200+ My hair turned out orange and red and was left like that, i kinda liked it but i expected it to be the color i wanted (Brown).!

kaciethesloth Jamie is my absolute favorite hairstylist locally and she is the only person I fully trust to do my hair. Every time she never fails to give an amazing haircut, makes enduring and fun conversation, consistently makes an effort to be a genuine person, and is very efficient and quick with her work. I have been a consistent customer of Jamie’s for the past 3yrs now, and have followed her through all of her moves to here. Mirror Mirror is also by far one of the best kept and aesthetically pleasing salons I’ve been to locally as well now

Marji Zintz I wish I could give more than five stars! This is the third time Jamie Peterson has done my hair and, Im telling you, if you have hair, you want Jamie to cut it! Especially curly hair, but really ANY hair! Shes brilliant...she knows exactly what to do, and shes such a wonderful person to hang out with besides!! I walked in with a mess on my head and walked out looking like I had someplace special to go!!! Its such a treat to get my hair done by Jamie! Im serious. Make the appointment. You can thank me later.

Bunny Baby Hi, it’s zion! Sherry was lovely! I am pregnant and was crying because I had gotten my hair done somewhere else and it wasnt what I wanted at all, she didn’t make me feel dramatic for crying and she fixed up my hair amazingly. It was only my second time there and yet I feel comfortable there already, definitely my go to salon now :)) Laura is just as lovely and did my hair greatly the first time i went there :)) I also have scalp psoriasis and getting my hair done makes it easier for me to care for it and keep it under control, I’m not sure if they saw any flakes but if they did they didn’t bring them up or make me feel embarrassed in any sort of way.

zach blauvelt Sherry is very friendly very quick and professional. Makes you feel comfterable talking to you while your getting your hair cut. The prices are very fair as well 10 out of 10. 100% recommended

Mercedes Miranda I originally visited this salon as a walk-in and have gone back multiple times since. Sherry is a pleasure to work with as she truly listens to what you’re looking for rather than her own vision for your hairstyle. Five stars are not enough! And the place is always clean and comfortable.

Stevie Creft I moved into this area just under a year ago and I have stop in and tried almost every barber shop in the area. Perrys house of Style was the first place that I experienced true professionalism. The cut was perfect. The shop feels safe and family friendly. Save yourself the hassle. If you are looking for a barber this is the place hands down.

Charles DeGroat Atmosphere was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Conversation was respectful and full of laughter. Haircuts were very professional and stylish.

Janet Whaley Nichale did a great job of doing a trim and my hair looked 100 percent better after the trim. She was professional and friendly and was great in customer service. I will definitely go back there and ask for her. She also shaped my hair.

Bridgette Parker Genesis is the absolute best!!! My teen wont let anyone else cut her hair and I am never disappointed with her work... Wish I could give her more than 5 stars

Melanie Kuhn Carbon copy of Riley Jacobsens story a year ago. She butchered my hair. I asked for 4 inches and she took a lot more than that. I loved my long hair, people loved my long hair, and it was part of my identity. Now I feel lost. Im so distraught. Itll take a year to get my hair back to where it was. Ive lost so much self-confidence from this. I knew this was a cheap place but I read the reviews and only saw 1 bad one so I thought I was safe. Do yourself a huge favor, spend the extra money, its worth it. If you dont care bout your hair and want a cheap cut, this place will do. If you do care about your hair you should definitely not go here. I wish so much I trusted my gut and went to the more expensive place, I hope you read this and it helps prevent you the pain I am feeling now. The cherry on top was her cigarette breath making my hair smell like cigarette smoke.

riley jacobsen Victoria cut nearly 7 inches of my hair off as a “trim”. Not only did she take more hair than the 3” that was requested, she did a very poor job. It’s very choppy, jagged and looks like the 5 yr old I babysit can do better. You really just hire any body huh? I have always had anxiety about going to get my hair cut for this very reason. Granted, my hair was not the healthiest it could be, but she could have respected my wishes of only cutting 3” off as opposed to whatever she felt was necessary or best. Her judgement is poor and frankly so are her skills. I have pictures of my hair before and after my appointment attached (See for yourselves). I would also like for it to be noted that I could’ve gotten passed the fact she took more than anticipated off if she had not done such a horrible job… Victoria you were sweet but you literally gave me another insecurity.

Diamond Dance Company I wouldnt go anywhere else! Kayla is a MASTER of her craft, and a wizard with color. Its rare to find someone who excels in so many different areas when it comes to hair. She can dye someone purple & blue giving serious mermaid vibes, then go do the most beautiful wedding up-do you have ever seen. The best part, though, is that she is kind & honest/realistic about your needs & expectations. Too often, people show an Instagram photo and a Hairstylist will say "yeah sure" take your money, and then you look nothing like the photo. But because Kayla is so educated and patient, she will talk through why this is, or isnt the best option for YOUR hair. SIMPLY THE BEST!

Azalea Loyola Michela did an amazing shine treatment on my hair! 10/10! Definitely recommend her! Very nice and talkative! My hair was SOOO dull before she worked her magic.

Bernadette Palumbo Kayla is an Artist and a Bio-Chemist when it comes to mixing hair color. Her haircuts are amazing too! I’m happy every time I walk out of Sorellina’s Hair Studio. Kayla also makes you feel very welcome! She is very talented at what she does!

The Real Deal 12401 I started to bring my daughter to Ulta because she A lot of money in gift card. From day one I was completely impressed with Emilie. From hair dye to formal updos To make up,and ear piercing. Emilie has you covered. The just got done doing my daughter for prom. Jean Bailey Typical Ulta store - good array of products, usually up to date with most newly released products, get offered assistance with looking for items most times when I stop in... Very easy to make returns and online orders to pick up in this store. Saves the hassle of having to go in and search for the items yourself! Glad to have an Ulta location in Kingston where not many other beauty stores are open anymore.

D Kaitlyn “Kaitlyn D” I was scheduled for today for a makeup appointment for an event today, 11/29/24 in Kingston NY. I received a confirmation text on 11/28 and it was confirmed. This morning (THE DAY OF EVENT) I called them because I didn’t see appointment on the screen and the associate stated that the appointment was cancelled because the stylist moved. What?!?! Why wasn’t I notified? It’s now the day of event and every place is booked. It’s so unfortunate and upsetting and had I known by a phone call I could have booked someone else prior to the DAY of an event.

Ellen McCarthy Went to Ulta in Kingston bc my hair & scalp have become very dry. Saw suggestions on the internet for shampoos, etc so went to see if they carried them. The ones the girl showed me had ingredients I cant use ( very sensitive skin) but she confided in me that she had the same issue once & that 2-1 head & shoulders did the trick. (Tried it & better after one wash) I bought other things that day & will continue shopping at Ulta with more confidence in the advice knowing its not just about pushing products! I own my own retail store & if I dont have what someones looking for I will direct them accordingly & find their appreciation makes them loyal customers for life! Thank you to that lovely girl & to Ulta!

Kelly Polston The owner is super friendly, and the salon is spacious and open. The aesthetician does some of the best nails Ive seen and gives amazing facials as well. Ive never gotten them, but she does perfect eyelash extensions as well.

Laura Maneri The woman working was extremely rude in the way she told my sister and I that they only take appointments not walk ins. She seemed so bothered that we were there and didn’t know this, told us it’s a nys law that appointments are needed (which I wasn’t aware of and the place down the road happily took us- Sunny nails which I highly recommend.) I would never use split ends’ service solely based on the employees immediate harsh and rude attitude towards us the second she approached us!

Carole Redmond I have been going to Splitends for about 8 years. I drive quite a distance to get there, because they are just that good. Highly recommend!

D G Went in for a hair cut. John was available. Absolutely a super nice guy for sure! However, he completely jacked up my hair cut. I asked for a fade and it was one of the worst I have ever gotten. Like to the point where I have to go to another barber establishment after work and attempt to get it fixed. I know I have thick hair but still, this is wild.

ayla gale okay i hate to do this because i feel really bad but i came in today for a trim and asked for only 1 inch off. i told the lady cutting my hair i just wanted the inch off and thats it and i really wanted to trust that it would be fine, because these are professionals, right? no. wrong. i have never had a more butchered haircut in my life. she showed me, and i said super nicely that i felt like it looked uneven in some of places and she replied “it just needs to be brushed when you get home!” it infact did not “just need to be brushed”.. i got out of this chair and immediately put my hoodie back on to hide my hair, paid the full price and didnt complain, and just cried walking back to my boyfriends car. we brushed it as soon as we got into the car and he was literally jaw dropped at how bad it was. he felt so bad that he drove me to a different place 15 minutes later and payed for me to get it fixed. im sorry if this is mean but im only 16 and even i knew i shouldnt have paid for it but i just didnt want to be mean.

Abby I got my hair dyed strawberry blonde by Emily a few months back and absolutely love it, friends and family all said it looked so natural on me! It’s even been pretty as it has grown out! I will definitely be going to her again!

Victoria F I bring my 2 children here for their haircuts. We don’t have a preference of stylists. We usually just see whoever is available. Very easy to make an appointment, they also take walk-ins. My kids are always happy with their haircuts and we will continue to return.

Mitchell Radell Jr Debbie does the best fade on mens hair!! Very fast and perfect! like no one else!! Does all 3 my boys and my 28 year old since he was around 4-5! First haircuts on both my other boys! She just did my 17 year old and looked like he was 30 with his beard trim!! Would recommend Debbie to anyone, especially people that want it fast and perfect!

J Beatts I certainly will not be returning to this salon for any service. First, the receptionist was rude. This place advertises walk in appointments, the receptionist seemed less than thrilled to welcome me in for a brow wax. Second, the wax room was dirty. It is also where the stylist mix their color and where they store a ladder and dirty mop. The chair is right in front of the door so as other stylist came in they bumped my feet. It is certainly not accommodating for the disabled. There is no where for you to put belongings down but the dirty floor. I would have been more upset had hair color or bleach gotten on my bag or myself. Third, the stylist was so rushed during my service. They ripped the wax/strips off my face so fast that they hit me in the nose. They did not pull my skin taut, so it hurt. When the service was complete, I walked out with a burning bloody swollen eyelid and wax all over my face and in my hair. The receptionist did ask me if I wanted lotion for the wax on my face but I declined. I only declined because lotion had already been applied which cause more burning. I would not be surprised with how rushed the stylist was that color or bleach activator was applied to my face instead of lotion or a cooling agent. I am writing this review 8 hours after the time of service, my eyelid is still burning despite the use of an anti inflammatory cream. I am embarrassed because I trusted this salon and the stylist that performed this service. The stylist has worked there for MANY years and I am very disappointed that they provided such little care. I hope the salon manager and/ or owners see this review and re-educate their employees.

Tracy I travel specifically to this store because of the customer service that I receive from Carol. She is very pleasant and very helpful. Her attention to detail is amazing. She always remembers my name and knows which products I like when I come into the store. The other day I stopped in and Carol wasn’t there, but Clarissa was. I have to say that Clarissa was excellent as well. The customer service that Carol and Clarissa give is what keeps me as a repeat customer

Ali Rosario They Have the worst customer service, I had no idea they were only open to those with a license. After being there for 30 minutes, struggling looking for an specific product, I decided to ask one of their employees who clearly saw me walk back and forth multiple times. When I asked she just pointed at where I could find the product and did not even move, yet there was another lady there and she walked with her around the store. At that point im feeling really uncomfortable with the way the employee was looking at me, and treated me the way she did, almost felt like she was treating me in such way bc I was speaking spanish to my daughter who was with me. As I’m grabbing my needs to pay she asks if I have a card with them, which I didn’t and had no idea I needed a card to shop at this store. Wasted almost an hour for her to ask me with a really negative attitude to hand everything back to her and for me to leave the store. I WILL NOT COME EVER AGAIN even if it’s open to public. I rather drive 17 Miles to Sally’s Instead of this place. YIKES! If I could gove this 0 stars I would.
