Laura Lineberger My experience in the ER was exceptional. I was from out of town and was struck by a unexplainable illness. They performed a battery of tests and treated me with great respect and dignity. While they may not have responded as quickly to my call bells, they managed to meet my needs. Thank you ER staff!!

mic sandeman The nurses have less compassion then prison guards. They view the patients as less then inmates. God only knows what they do after visiting hours. They ignore the call bells. Take nurses iPhones away, please. Install Video surveillance. The few competent nurses are exhausted. Better care given in Auschwitz’s.

Mary Fitz I had a very rare cardiac emergency and was taken here via ambulance… despite all the difficulties that Covid has done to the medical community, every nurse in ICU and the cardiac ward, helped me through a very scary time in my life. The cardiac MD’s also explained my situation and procedure and genuinely cared about my fears and questions. I’ve heard this hospital gets a bad rap, but they saved my life and took real care of me. I won’t have a bad thing to say based off this experience.

Maital George We brought my dad in as an emergency and they discovered what some of the biggest hospitals hadn’t discovered about his heart. He was in nyu and Westchester a few weeks before this visit due to stroke and came in here after discharge due to chest pains and ketoacidosis and the cardiologists in here discovered a major life threatening clog that none of the prior hospitals did. Their ICU department was unbelievably amazing. Their ER attended to him immediately and with so much care. They saved my dads life and I’ll be forever be grateful.

Rolf Zimmermann What a surprisingly good experience we had at the ER. Wait time under 30 minutes. Doctor and nurses were pleasant and professional. Tests were done relatively quickly. All in all the best hospital visit in a long time. Keep up the good work and thank you!

Abby McDonough I love the Doctors, I have been with mine for 25 years. Unfortunately, Optum itself sucks. They have decided to unestablish me as a patient for some reason and refuse to reinstate my status. All new patient appointments are 6-12 months out and when you get one they cancel it at the last minute and then expect you to wait another 6 months. And at the end of the day they refuse to let me go back to my doctor that myself and the rest of my family has been established with for 25 years.

Dorothy Bartomeo Went in for MRIs and there was literally no wait. They got me right in, I had an amazing nurse and tech, and I was out in record time. Show up prepared, and your testing will go super smoothly. Love this location.

L M Caremount/Optum is easily one of the worst medical groups in this area. My former Dr., Sadia Hussain, was just as dismissive as the current nurse practitioner who was assigned to me. In addition to the attached messages I sent on the patient portal, I also called and left a detailed message for Cynthia Pascaretti on January 9th, 2025. My call was never returned and this Victoria person is the only correspondence Ive had about my concerns. I suppose anything billable isnt deemed necessary. Heed this review. You all are nothing but a check to these pple. They do not care about your health, they only care about rushing you through the 45 minute/hour office visit youre billed for in 15 minutes or less. There have been a plethora of extensive reviews that have been posted for various departments about the treatment you will receive if you choose Optum for your health needs. They do not have a care in the world for you. At all. And God help you if youre a Black woman. They will dismiss your concerns and toy w/you. Sadia Hussain was flippant about my concerns regarding fertility in my mid-30s. I told her that my MyChart identified me as peri-menopausal. She said that if I didnt think I was, then, Im not. Cynthia Pascaretti found that comment humorous and informed me that peri-menopause occurs in women after the age of 30. Interesting that my concerns have been a running joke in this place since Dr. Heller was my Dr (another travesty who coasted by until retirement). I completely understand now why sooooooo many Black women choose to bypass this Drs office and wait till theyre sick or dying. Dnt say you didnt know. You are a check.

Courtney Dudley My review is for the OBGYN office. Individual providers and staff were generally wonderful, however I could have had the exact same birth experience that I ended up having by just showing up to the hospital when I went into labor. When my water broke no one answered the phone, I could not get an OB to call me back for over an hour. When I showed up to the hospital, there were no optum OBs there. The OB on call delivered and did a great job but they didn’t have any of my pregnancy info- it was like I literally just walked in off the street. An OB from optum did not come to talk to me til the next morning after I had my baby and she had very little support to offer at that point.

Diana Matos Took my friend who was referred by his primary doctor & waiting parking is basically in front of entrance to the building; however, for people with a stroller or wheelchair its not easy entertaining the facility because the doors are not automatic so someone definitely needs to hold the two doors to allow the stroller or wheelchair to enter the facility. People seem friendly yet a bit inpatient.

Neil Millens I love my primary Dr. Lekaj, but the office management is horrible. Unprofessional, rude, and incompetent are me being kind. Voice messages are not returned (one staff told me they cant even access their voice mail). The office doesnt follow up in a timely manner on referrals or getting authorizations. And when you call about the latter, they deny any responsibility for having to handle prior authorizations effectively because they contract it out to a third party. Its nothing less than bizarre.

Logan Rose Im very disappointed with my visit to this doctors office. The man that greeted me was fine, and the nurse was fairly nice- but the doctor was awful to me. Im fat. I know Im fat. She spent 95% of the visit telling me about how my weight is an issue without talking about my issue I came in for (which is affecting my weight, ironically.). It felt like I was being berated for 20 minutes. She was also very rude to me. Was it because I was fat and she didnt like fat people? Who knows. All I know is that she has fairly decent reviews so Im not sure what her issue was with me. I definitely will go somewhere else for endocrinology, but the bad experience doesnt stop there. The receptionist upon leaving the office was rude to me as well. The only good thing I can say about this place was that I wasnt waiting to get in for hours on end like some other places Ive been to- but the treatment I received was awful and I most likely will be looking elsewhere for treatment.

Chewy Yogurt Dr. Bogdan Iorgu is rude, disrespectful and is also just a bad doctor. If you enjoy being treated in a hostile manner go with Bogdan. He should find another profession, one where he doesn’t have to interact with people.

Joshua Sickler Dr Bogdan iorgu just brushes off everything I tell him and doesnt seem to really care overall. Its like he doesnt want to be bothered with doing his job and does just and I mean JUST enough to keep his job EDIT: DR.Bogdan Iorgu ended my case because he heard that i didnt think he was providing adequate care. Hes just proving me right. Will be suing for retaliation. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS. STAFF IS RUDE AS WELL

Nichole Edwards I personally dropped off my medical records two weeks before Thanksgiving in hopes to make an appointment for prenatal care. Months later (1/21/25) I called to check on the progress because I still haven’t received a phone call back to schedule an appointment and was told they couldn’t find my paperwork! Mind you I’ve been making weekly phone calls checking on the progress, why not just tell me my paperwork was miss placed weeks ago instead of stringing me along! I’m on a time crunch because my current provider is dropping my insurance which I’ve explained during the many phone calls I made to the office. At this point I’d rather just deal with the hassle of changing insurance companies and staying with my current provider than deal with the incompetence from this staff and office.

Francine Dr.Isabell and his nurse Jean make Kingston primary care the best Nuvace office. I have been a patient of Dr.Isabell for almost 20 years. He always listens to all of my concerns. He orders the right test and then goes over the results in a way that is easy to understand. He is always so kind and really cares about his patients. I have severe anxiety and a large family history of cancer . It is a great luxury that I can trust him and relax knowing I am getting the very best care possible. He is the perfect combination of brilliance and kindness. Janetta and Dorthy work at the front desk and like Dr.Isabell and Jean very professional and caring . They also can take your blood work in their office. She is so sweet and professional . She also makes funny jokes and never hurt me once . They also never over book . I am so grateful to have Dr.Isabell as my primary doctor. I am also grateful for his nurse. She calms me down and so nice to talk to. Then when Dr.Isabell comes in he relaxes me too. He makes me feel safe.

Sam Haselby I made an appointment in January for mid April. They confirmed it 3 times over email and phone messages. Today, four days before the appointment, they called to tell me the appointment was a mistake by "their call center". No apology. No offer to help me reschedule with the same doctor. When I complained that they had confirmed the appointment several times in the last couple months they made fun of me. Unprofessional to the point of incompetent.

Nick Night Rude ! Overpriced ! 575 !! And the PA Claudia Halstead was completely rude ! Told me to take expired meds I had in my medicine cabinet as she said and I quote "Youre done" as she walked out of the exam room. I went up the street to Optum got a new prescription for an antibiotic and predisone and felt better the next day ! NEVER going back and recommending NO ONE GO here !

William Miller Nuvance represents the absolute WORST of everything corporatized medicine in America has become. Their scheduling policies are so irresponsible so as to be draconian. It is commonplace to not be able to secure an appointment with one’s provider for months at a time. I used to see my PCP monthly, now I count myself lucky if I can obtain an appointment with him quarterly. They have taken to calling in controlled substance prescriptions without seeing me because there simply isn’t an appointment available and I’m running out. My son required a physical for school and the soonest they could see him was five months from now. They suggested I go to the local walk in clinic which I ended up having to do. Naturally my insurance company wouldn’t pay for a physical there, so I had to come out of pocket for $50 for something that should have been free had Nuvance been practicing scheduling that actually reflects concern for their patients’ health and well-being. I’m certainly no attorney, therefore I can’t determine with professional certainty what constitutes malpractice, however I San say with great confidence that when it comes to concern for patients’ health and well-being, Nuvance puts profits before people.

Elizabeth Wilding Murphy I was treated with kindness and respect by all the staff, and the doctor was extremely thorough with a wonderful caring bedside manner. The nurses were cool and funny and told good stories. I felt so taken care of and was made to be totally comfortable and put at ease throughout the process. Thank you to the wonderful nurses Nicole, Melissa and doctor Wolstein.

Radine Couture During my moms short stay here, we encountered many kind, caring, and knowledgeable staff. The problem is that there is absolutely no teamwork. The Drs and nurses do not communicate well with each other. You cannot give great care to patients unless you are on the same page. I have never written a review before, but felt it was necessary. I dont believe this is a bad place, I just think they dont run smoothly and because of that, patients and their families are left feeling overwhelmed, helpless and aggravated.

Char Zook I admitted myself to the ER for chest pain. I was treated with respect and promptness by all of the staff and Nurses. However the doctor (a young man whose name i dont recall) was very rude. He entered the room while i was still with the nurse and fully interupted her midsentence without acknowledging her. Proceeded to dismiss my concerns and literally told me i was healthy, while holding the 6 months of evidence proving otherwise

Kat Forge Came in via ambulance due to severe vomiting and got put into a room , the tech I had came in and she was an angel no complaints about her! However the nurse practitioner basically judged me and assumed I was a drug user just because I wasn’t feeling good enough to do bloodwork IN THAT MOMENT because I pass out every time, in which I stated to her “can I just wait a few minutes and see how I feel”. She said to me “okay so i won’t be doing anything or giving you anything not even fluids without bloodwork” and told me I’ll be refusing my own care and then basically told me to just leave because she won’t be doing anything for me. Honestly I felt stereotyped and I’m even considering suing for medical malpractice. Most definitely will never come back here, I’d rather wait 17 hours at vassar, at least care would be provided at some point.

Tatiana Verna This hospital is horrible. My grandfather was practically neglected unless my family was there and even with that was a problem. My grandfather was left uncared for, unfed, nearly poisoned all the way till his dying days. The staff has no compassion nor don’t care about the patient only the money that insurance gives. My family drove nearly an hour in bad and decent weather to see my grandfather and give him so T.L.C and we were told everyday we can’t see him even though a doctor and nurse spoke to him on the first day he was there to confirm that his three children and grandchildren are allowed and wanted to see him. The front receptionist (older white lady) yelled at my mom and myself as if we have no right to be there. This hospital never cared to listen even when we spoke to patient advocate it was a hassle to get to her (Allison) she called and her “update” after days of calling nearly a month later, the lost and unfinding of the proxy paperwork is not on them was our fault for not having a copy and can’t find the nurses. This hospital care needs to be investigated. Proxy paper work magically found one day and then the next day lost and undiscovered. They allowed my grandfather go days without food. I have proof that he was well aware and eating so I don’t care. This is my review on the horrible inconvenience caused during the care of my grandfather. There’re were some good nurses there but not enough to forget about the nightmare that was experienced. I hope state investigates the care provided by this hospital because I’m beyond disgusted and fearful for other patients care.

Kathy Foley Im so pleased with the swift, thorough and gentle care I received last week at the ER. Fast tests and treatment for acute diverticulitis. The nursing staff are all excellent caring gentle professionals. 24 hours later I went home to continue treatment. Couldnt ask for better care

Angela Hawsey Stay AWAY FROM COURTNEY ELIZABETH!!!! She was so incredibly rude and unempathetic. She forcefully pulled me down to the bed when i was feeling faint returning from the bathroom( which had blood and poop stuck to the floor) i had to keep my husband on the phone the entirety of our interaction because i felt so uncomfortable. I have a phobia of needles and usually do very well if told when im being punctured, but this woman may as well have been mute. Barging in my room, there was no announcement, not telling me when she was placing my IV, and placed things in my IV with no communication to me as what she was doing. I cried after getting my IV and she yelled at me that if i dont calm down im going to pass out which scared me more and i looked at her and said "please, dont yell at me i have terrible anxiety" she looks at me again and says okay im not YELLING at you im keeping you from passing out. She wasnt, she made me more anxious and uncomfortable. She then left 3 vials of my blood in the room where they couldnt be used, another nurse came in and said ohhh im not sure why these were left here... i said the lady at the counter out there eating her salad is the one that took. This woman, im sure, has a kind heart and is a good person, but COURTNEY ELIZABETH INGRASSIA should not be an er nurse. And considering she just got the job at the hospital back in June, theres no excuse for burnout. She did not fill out any discharge papers for me and pointed to me as i walked out crying, saying that girl just eloped like it was unprovoked. The team also removed all my lab results from my chart and didnt properly fill out my paperwork, leaving out my emergency contact as my husband, didnt even have

Lavender If you want to die, been seen in an emergency at Kingston hospital. It is known FACTS to STAY AWAY from Kingston Hospital throughout the community. I encouraged my elderly mother to move 45 minutes away from me as she would be taken by ambulance to Vassar instead of Kingston Hospital. I am not sure of the exact problem, but STAY AWAY, they will kill you! I know too many people that have died going here from simple health issues!!! STAY AWAY!!!

LJ Ekus We were visiting Kingston for the weekend when my husband had a kidney stone. We were concerned with the reviews but decided to chance it since they were so close to where we were staying. We are so glad we did. While waiting in the waiting room, the Dr came out to speak with us to get a head start on his care. They were on top of things from the very beginning and moved quickly to make him comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with were polite, helpful and caring. My husband ended up spending the night in the hospital on the 5th floor. The great care continued. It is always scary when an emergency happens out of your own area. We extremely happy with the experience and thankful for the great care.

Jennifer Vande Zande After ordering a host of tests for a serious medical issue, I didn’t hear back. I called the office and was told I needed to make an appt. Got to the office, was then told they don’t accept my Blue Cross, and that I needed to pay out of pocket ($400). I pulled out my HSA card and was told they don’t accept cards … and that I couldn’t get my results without an appointment. Since almost two months had gone by, I decided I needed the results so that I could find other care. They directed me to an ATM because I couldn’t pay after the appointment either. While I sat in the room, he stayed in the hall to read my results - which had been sent over previously; he didn’t even look at them until I got to the office and paid cash. Difficult to think that I’m seen as anything more than an opportunity to make money. Really, really disappointed. (Also there’s a sign on their door that says you must not enter without a mask and they don’t have any to give out. If you don’t have one, you’ll have to reschedule … an office without a patient portal, or reminder calls where they could mention things like needing to bring cash to get your test results and wear a mask - it’s like they’re looking for every opportunity NOT to provide patient care).

R Manosh Weiss Dr. Hahn was the one physician who developed a treatment plan for my many ongoing medical issues. He is a straight shooter, and takes the time to educate you on your diagnostic test results and what he can do to help. He performed 6 surgeries for me that helped maintain my ability to walk. I will forever be in his debt, and I highly recommend him if you are not getting the answers you need from other people. His office staff are incredibly caring and helpful as well.

Julian Brachfeld Very disappointing experience. While the initial visit was informative as the Dr. was able to diagnose my issue, after sending me for 2 MRIs and multiple X-Rays, I never heard back from his office for going on a month. In the interim, when I finally took it upon myself to call and find out why I havent heard from the office regarding results, I was told that I need to make yet another appointment, at which time he will look at the results and discuss them with me. This seems more like pushing for yet another co-pay and insurance claim than any genuine concern for my well being. While he seems like a very knowledgeable physician and surgeon, I will not be coerced into driving 45 minutes out of my way to find out the results of my tests unless they are looked at and there is a compelling reason to do so. Be forewarned: Find out office policies BEFORE making initial appointments.

Elizabeth Thomas So disappointed. I was so excited when I found this practice and Dr. Bloch, the caring midwives and wonderful staff. Unfortunately, I find Dr. Saint Jean a sad replacement for Dr. Bloch. She seems like she is always in a hurry (even when youre the only patient in the office), is dismissive, rude and condescending in how she addresses her patients. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking my first appointment with her was a fluke - surely an OBGYN couldnt be that uncaring. The second appointment was even worse. I want someone kind, compassionate and caring by my side, not someone who made it seem like I was wasting her time. Really sad because the rest of the staff is lovely.

Danica R. Allen, Ph.D. Dr very competent but one member of front office staff should be kept away from people and pets. She needs a total attitude adjustment. My 3:15 appt was right on time, BP and checks took a couple minutes and doc was in room shortly thereafter. Frankly, it is just one front office staff member that detracts from the experience.

Mike Caputo It was not easy for my wife to recount her painful medical history twice in one appointment. And yet after going through the effort to explain her medical background, she received a follow-up call two days later with instructions to stop taking actions which had saved her life once before. My wife was ignored completely: apparently the medial staff here operate a "read off the playbook" operation, rather than using critical thinking and evidence-based treatment. Oh, and apparently its normal for them to write important information on sticky notes. Stay far away if you value your health - or your life!

NatureLovin Mommy23 Very disappointed in this practice since Dr Bloch left. I saw Dr Bloch since he was in healthquest starting 7 yrs ago & left them to follow him to this office. In all the yrs I was going to healthquest I never had a single problem with them in their kingston or rhinebeck offices. I decided to stay at advanced obgyn after Dr Bloch left. The midwife there Melissa Lawlor was actually honestly lovely. However when she was sick & I needed anxiety meds refilled for which Ive always gotten from my Obgyn without a problem for yrs the other Dr refused to refill them. Said she would be back that Friday which was several days away. I was already going into withdrawal because everybody knows you dont just stop taking a medicine like that cold turkey! They never called me back that Friday when my provider was supposed to be back. So I called & they told me shes still sick they didnt know when she would be back. I asked them to give me enough pills to get me through untill she got back they refused. I asked if the other Dr there would help & she was refusing. So I asked for the office manager which was no help either & she said there was nothing they could do. When I arrived at cvs as a last resort that they would help me I found out they got a hold of my provider from home & she finally gave me one refill (probably because they were afraid of me reporting them which I was ready to do!). Then got a call when my provider got back saying they refuse to prescribe my zoloft to me ever again after this damn office had been prescribing the same medicine at the exact same dosage for well over a yr!!! I have never had problems like this not with healthquest & not with caremount which Id prefer at this point because at least they are efficient. I will never go back to this practice ever again for anything & nor would I recommend them to anyone

Chewy Yogurt Everyone should be aware how terrible this office can be. Sure, many professionals are kind and intelligent, but not all doctors are created equal. Just because you have an MD, doesn’t mean you’re a good doctor. This is the case with DR. BOGDAN IORGU. He is rude, unprofessional, calloused and a fustilarian. He treats patients with contempt and with a tone of belittlement. His office is also irresponsible and unethical. Overall, everyone should question their medical judgment and their professionalism. Go elsewhere. If you don’t trust solely my review, look at all the others! But regardless: To Dr. Iorgu, I hope you have good malpractice insurance. You’re going to need it soon.

Michael Solow This doctor misdiagnosed my wife’s colon cancer as simple internal hemorrhoids, leading to a unnecessary and very painful surgery and a more serious form of cancer. The cancer was diagnosed properly by a different GI doctor. We also found this doctor’s practice to be disorganized. Do not, under any circumstances, go to this doctor. And always pursue a second opinion regarding any serious diagnosis.
