Heather Phillips Great service, relaxing location, and clean! I dont want to write this review... I dont want this hidden gem to be found. This place is absolutely the best place for manicures and pedicures. This is the absolute best location to get your nails done. I went from overgrown Barbie pink, to Halloween Black & Orange! I came in for a fill today. It took longer to pick the color for my nails, and then it did to get in. Kevin was amazing! I will only be seeing him from now on. He was precise and wanted them to look good.

Aleisha Haskins I went to this lovely place for the first time today and wow what a wonderful experience!! Everyone is so professional, friendly and talented! It’s an extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well managed salon. I immediately felt welcomed, relaxed and happier when walking in. I personally had the spa pedicure and gel manicure. I could not be more happy with the beautiful and wonderful work the technicians did (Ella and Selena). Needless to say I will definitely be going there from now on. One extremely happy customer!!

Pamela Jennings I’m not sure when a pedicure using gel polish became a “spa” pedicure but $70 for a 15 year old to go to a semi formal dance is ridiculous. Plus tip brings that to $85.

Mia Hilton My nails came out nice, but they were so pushy about what kind of polish I got to the point where I was stressed and spent more than I wanted even though I was super clear about what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend.

Lacey Hurwitz I went here for the first time today . Was greeted happily with no wait at 6pm which is usually peak time and got a gel Pedi. The service was great and finished by a complimentary massage. Price was 65 for spa gel Pedi which is average now a days. My nail tech was super nice and offered suggestions which I appreciated. I left with a coupon for next time that I will definitely be using to come back !

Leona Sherman Ive been going here ever since they opened. I see Jennifer. Shes great and I have no complaints at all with anyone there. I highly recommend Fashion Nails. Today I let Jenn come up with whatever she wanted to do with my nails for July 4th. I absolutely love them!!!

I go to Le & she is totally reliable & have been going to her for over 6 years now! I would NOT go anywhere else!! There prices are fair & they do amazing things to nails & toes here! We all need some pampering at Polished Nails!! You wont be sorry!!

Judy Kahler Very poor pedicure. Normally a regular pedicure will last 3 to 4 weeks. The evening I had my pedicure done I already had a chip out of the polish on one toe and polish was 1/4 gone on another nail. Also the edge of my big toe was scratchy like it had not been filed. I returned the next day. The nail tech fixed it and was very apologetic, that is the reason I am giving one star. She apologized to me several times. The two men at the counter never apologized when I walked in and told them about the problem. Here it is two days later and polish is off yet another nail!! Very disappointed with this pedicure and I would not recommend this nail salon.

Alivia Pritchard I personally wouldn’t come here again. I received what I asked for but after a week the gel started to change color. Almost as if it wasn’t fully cured which left me with a very unpleasant feeling. I’d hate for this to happen to someone else.

Greeted us right at door and took care of us right away! Best foot pedi I ever got even got another surprise when was letting my feet dry! She came again and did another short massage on back! Dee Green I was charged $10 more than the listed price. I realized that wasnt the price on the menu and they gave me my money back. I wonder how many people theyve done this too that didnt notice or speak up.

Wren Howard One of the best salons in the area! Super calming environment and only do builder gel so if you like that this place is for you. Offered me a complimentary quick shoulder massage and a free travel sized hand cream after. Pricing is fair and my nails have stayed on for weeks. Absolutely recommend

Sarah Lynn Marion THEY DO NOT DO ACRYLIC FILLS. I called ahead and specifically asked for an acrylic fill. The employee on the phone said they could take me, so I drove over. I sat down and began the regular routine. When it came time to apply the new acrylic, my nail tech brought out Builder Gel. I said “oh no I want acrylic fill, not gel” and they told me that they only do gel fills, not acrylic. I ended up doing the gel because I was on a time crunch and had already been sitting there for 45 minutes. I don’t understand why they said they do acrylic fills over the phone when they do not do them. I would not have driven over. My mani is already lifting and chipping.

Renee RUFFRAGE Washed my hair then denied perming it. Complete waste of my time. Jennifer kept trying to cut my hair off because of the "dead ends" that I dont have. Refused to give me a perm even though thats why i made the appointment. Many other salons would have permed my hair. Over priced, 18$ for a wash and cut. I do not recommend going to the Nail and Hair Enterprise by Trina.

lily to put it bluntly, stephanie is not great at doing hair. she can do basic things like haircuts and simple colorings but when it comes to more complex things that involve using bleach, DO NOT GO TO HER! she is very likely to damage your hair, not achieve the results you want, and the worst part is that she lacks professionalism and accountability! she doesn’t apologize, will tell you that “people make mistakes”, and will overall have a “deal with it” type of attitude. she will offer zero discount for her mistake(s) and will hint that she still wants a tip from you. unbelievable. I also didn’t like how she talked poorly about her 23 year old stepdaughter, it fed into the unprofessionalism.

Natalie DiRuzzo A completely beautiful, modern salon in a great location! Cristy is amazing and always does an amazing job! It always feel so comfortable there! I cant recommend all the girls there enough! They now have a girl doing makeup too!! 5 stars for sure!

Gina LaRose I made an appointment with Stephanie for myself and my son at 11. After waiting 30 minutes someone suggested I call her being she wasnt at the salon. I reached her through Facebook messenger and she said she had a conflict at 9 this morning. Then said she needed a "jump thing" because her care wouldnt start. She might be able to get to the salon by 2:30. I explained it took me an hour to get there plus I just had a knee replacement and was not going to sit there for hours. She then told me "emergencies happen" I dont find a car not starting 2 hours before my appointment an emergency. Stephanie could have called and rescheduled or canceled. She was given an $80 tip for services she provided the last time because shes a struggling small business owner according to her. I also had to pay a deposit for my last appointment so I would show up (which I didnt mind). Yet she doesnt have the common courtesy to show up for my appointment. This salon just lost my business. Im afraid they will lose a lot more if they continue to let Stephanie work from this salon.

Erika Casey The worst part of the experience I had was that Stephanie got bleach on multiple parts of my shirt (the upper right shoulder & a random blotch at the back of the bottom right of my shirt). I understand that accidents happen, however, she tried to HIDE the mistake that she made. I was never made aware by her that she had bleached and ruined my shirt. When I had initially noticed it in the mirror after showing me the results of my hair, at first, her and the salon owner she works for Heather completely brushed over it and kept talking about the blonde in my hair. When I had mentioned it again to Stephanie directly, I said “I would like to know why there are bleach stains on my shirt and nothing was said to me” and all she did was shrug her shoulders and make a scrunch face towards me. I cannot make this up. She offered no apology or compensation towards the fee of my shirt (which was an approximate $20 Hot Topic brand shirt). She completely avoided taking any accountability towards the mistake that she made. On top of that, she promised me results that she couldn’t achieve on my hair. I understand that my hair was previously dyed with permanent color, however, she word for word PROMISED me that she could “definitely get my hair to where I wanted it to be” by my 2nd appt, to which she did not. I booked her for a balayage on my hair and after my 2nd appt my hair was not only orange toned, but it was also left extremely damaged. I knew with the amount of bleach used, that it would be damaged. However, it should not have been left stringy and fried. My hair was left terrible and I had to book an appt with a different cosmetologist to fix my hair as best she could. On top of that, when the owner Heather was there at the 2nd appt (she wasn’t present at the salon at our 1st appointment), Heather had a hair appt with a client that just so happened to miss their appt. So because Heather was free, she came over to help Stephanie with my hair. It’s a good thing that happened, because Heather ended up taking over completely as she was clearly a lot more knowledgeable & skilled. Heather ended up correcting and giving a lot of pointers to Stephanie on how to properly apply bleach on my hair and how to properly do the balayage. I kid you not, Stephanie ended up *literally* standing there, scrolling on her phone, while Heather was doing the complete process of my hair. I wouldn’t have minded had I gotten the results that I wanted, but, I didn’t. Stephanie should NOT have promised me the results that she did knowing she was inexperienced in doing balayages and that there was a chance of not achieving them, knowing that I had previously colored hair. Don’t get me wrong, she is a personable person and is easy to get along with. But I will say that there is a reason as to why she’s had her cosmetology license since 2008 yet doesn’t work as a cosmetologist full time. She works full time at a different hourly job and only works her salon job as a little side hustle. She constantly advertises her business on several pages to support her ‘small business’ which is a big part as to why I chose to trust her with my hair. I love to support local and would rather support someone local than a corporate-chained business. I hate to say it, but there is clearly a reason as to why not many clients go to her for business and put their trust in her. Unfortunately I made the (costly) mistake of trusting Stephanie with my hair. The last thing I have to mention is that Stephanie CONSTANTLY posts hair pics of OTHER cosmetologists work. Most of the time she doesn’t give credit to the actual person who did the hair. She uses the work of other people to try to gain more clients and business, and you can clearly tell the difference between the random professional images that she posts verses her own work. Don’t get me wrong, I think that Stephanie is capable of doing basic work such as simple haircuts, or the ‘money pieces’ that she advertises. I wouldn’t recommend her for any complex or skilled work, such as the balayage that I went to her for.

Alaina Maine Always a great experience and I go routinely every 3 weeks! The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Even if it is busy they always take their time and ensure I am satisfied. They also always listen to requests and NEVER rude/offended if asking for a change. I love to see a busy local business, and can tell how hard the staff is working at all times. The reviews that complain about waiting 15 extra minutes for an appointment are ridiculous, they are busy, but they are also not going to turn away walk in business for appointments that potentially might not show. If you observe there is so much consideration the staff take to try and seat groups together, be with a preferred technician, honor walk ins/calls etc. Go with intention to relax and unwind and you will be SOOO happy you went there!

Kara Hunter Kevin is the best !!! Love this nail salon. Everyone is so nice and they have the best selection of colors.

Deere shelby (sophiafreak7797) I started coming here back in October after a different salon completely messed up my nails 2 days before my engagement photos. I was panicking, very upset and hoping for the best. Ryan listened to me (and my panic) when I told him what I wanted showed pictures. He showed me a few different colors and was just amazing! The shape was perfect and the colors were exactly what I wanted! His work speaks for it self in my engagement photos! I have been going back to get my nails filled and they are all amazing! Love the spa pedicures too! I have never been to a salon that does so much for pedicures! And their ATM has no fees! They are wonderful, friendly and I kind! I love going there! They are fast (not rushed but efficient) and awesome at what they do. People may complain about the prices but when you’re paying for quality it’s totally worth it!

DH Z Just noticed theyre under new management now and offering a 50% off for their reopening! Met some very nice and skilled people over there, the whole store is so clean and neat, plus the fabulous smell and excellent work, omg it makes going there and get my nails done such a no brainer!

Allie Dier The nails came out okay but my finger would not stop bleeding for 2 hours straight even after putting napkins and bandits on my finger. The lady was cutting my cuticles and it was so painful and even hurt after.

Scout Ludwig Absolutely terrible. There is a guy there that wears glasses and is a bit bigger. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing. I honestly have no clue how he was hired in the first place be because it shocks me that he has a job doing this.i asked for a simple French tip but instead of white I asked for yellow due to the fact I have prom tomorrow. He began with drilling the skin around my nail instead of the nail. Then he proceeded to use the drill so far down on my nail beds that they’re so irritated. Then he would paint each nail one by one and put them into the led light for gel nails. I have never taken this long to get a gel manicure ever before. This appt took 2 hours. Then each of my nails are a different shape along with the lines of the French tip on them as well. I will not be going back ever again. So as I’m writing this, take into consideration when they ask you who you want to do your nails when you get there and make sure they don’t stick you with this guy so you don’t have to go through the same thing.

josie barone The guy doing my nails did not properly prepare them and they’re immediately began to crack within 10 days, acrylics usually last me a whole month. I was also charged 80 dollars but he never did the design I asked and left bubbles in my nails because he didn’t cure them right. not worth the price

David Peroni For the male who needs a pedicure along with a foot, ankle and leg massage you can’t beat Viola Nails. I’ve been going to Gerri for over 10 years and she is so good, and very thorough. Try it, you love it. Great atmosphere too. I fall right to sleep.

Aurora Deliberto Only giving one star as zero is not an option. My appointment was at 10:30, I arrived 5 minutes early. I waited until 11 before I was seated in a chair in which I waited another 10 minutes before someone came over to me. Then, the woman who did my nails was not personable, I tried to make small talk but was greeted with barely any in return but instead talked to her coworkers in another language the entire time. I kept saying oww while she was doing my nails as the electric sander kept getting very hot on my nails. She cut my knuckle yes my knuckle as well as the sides of two of my cuticles. My nails were all different shapes and sizes. The shape was not what i asked for the length is not what i asked for (although all were different lengths in the end anyways). The polish was filed so much you can see my actual nail underneath the tops of almost every nail. One nail is very crooked. And to top it off within one day the matte top coat peeled off 3 of my nails in one sheet. I understand matte tends to peel however i get matte coat almost every month and they never peel until maybe week 2-3 at the earliest, sometimes theres no peel at all. I did not leave my 10:30am appointment until after 1:30pm. When asked to cash out i had a card they kept trying to hound me to please use cash which i did not have at the time, i was told to go to an atm if possible. The manager kim came over and i expressed how upset i was almost in tears at how badly my nails look she proceeded to do her best to try and fix them by filing them even more. I paid $106 for nails that i am already getting redone asap because how bad they look and sadly have to pay for again. Unfortunately i have to wait a little while with terrible nails because my actual nails are in physical pain. I do not know what Then did to my nails but apparently your finger tips and nails can actually be in pain from getting your nails done. No discount was offered no free charge was offered or a discount on my next time in (although i will never ever go back and have told everyone i know never to go). All i got was a “we are sorry your nails dont look the best but services were rendered which will need to be paid for” Truly astonished at how this place is open providing bad service and poor customer service as well. I enjoy getting my nails done every month, its the only thing i do for myself, its my relaxation me time. I normally never would have gone here as I have my usual go to but she was booked. I wish i had just waited another few weeks as even my super old nails looked better than this.

Megan Rockhill The first 2 times I came here I had great experiences. This time, not at all. Not only were my nails rushed, but it doesn’t even look like she tried to fix and make them presentable. Now I’m not upset that it’s not identical to the reference photo, I’m upset because there are VISIBLE gaps between the colors (which I asked to be fixed at least twice) and you can also notice on several nails the sloppy lines and where some polish was smudged into the next color. Like I said I wasn’t asking for it to be perfect, I just don’t appreciate paying $55 to leave the salon with a sloppy 2nd grade looking design that I had asked to be fixed. Waste of time and money. Nadia Ososkalo Absolutely awful experience!!I came with a group of girls to get pedicures before a wedding. I was put in a chair and had to wait about 20 minutes for a tech to become available. Once the lady finally came over, her equipment did not look clean, she looked all kinds of frazzled, she even stopped what she was doing Just to walk over to her purse to answer her phone. Once she started working on my feet, she was rushing and kept pointing out that I had really bad feet and I should be getting pedicures more frequently. My feet look exactly the same coming out as they did coming in. She cleaned up my cuticles and painted my nails but other than that there is no difference in the state of my feet. She nicked my skin a few times and I have a lot of redness in those areas post pedicure. Please save your money and go elsewhere.

Dennis Yero I got my nails done may 5th as soon as they opened, I had an appointment. I come in I sit down I’m waiting…mind you I have other things I needed to do that day. I sit there for 20 minutes until finally the employee whom I scheduled an appointment with, shows up. I show her what I want and she’s doing my nails it’s a medium/long set, simple French tip design with glitter. In the process of this I was cut twice on the sides of my fingers. The past two days have been quite a bit painful just doing daily tasks. She acknowledges the cuts and mentions that I have sensitive skin…miss ma’am? Anyways. This catastrophy lasted an hour and a half and after only two days I have a chip on the side of one of my nails. This was easily a $60 set. But I was charged $85

Linda Fatata I had a delicious gel dip manicure today at my favorite salon, Soho. So friendly and relaxing. They always have the latest colors and never rush you! Very different from some other salons! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

She was very friendly and professional and my nails look great. The salon itself is clean and modern. I got a gel pedicure and gel manicure on my natural nails which came to $75 plus tip.

Tammy VonBank I went to MANY nail places prior to Soho. I am extremely picky. I have been getting my nails done for 32 years. Once I found SOHO I knew I found my home Spa. They ALWAYS do such a beautiful job. It is always relaxing. All the ladies and owners are soo friendly, customer oriented and have smiles on their faces for the customers. The Spa is clean and relaxing. Everyone compliments on my nails and asks where I get them done. Everyone I send to SOHO loves it there. Thank you to all the Ladies and owners. ❤️❤️

Lexi Hansen I went to get my nails done for a very important wedding. Let me say first that the other few times I’ve went there service has been fine, but this is my first time with this particular nail tech. I really wish I had time to go back and get them fixed but I went right before the wedding so my nails would be fresh. She didn’t get very close to the cuticle so they already look grown out by a week. I noticed that at the salon but didn’t have time for her to do my entire manicure again at the time. My toes are kind of messy, and she only painted the very tip of one of my toes which unfortunately I didn’t notice until I got home. I only get my nails done a couple times a year and I’m so disappointed that they look like this after $70.

Divya Rao This is the first time I am rating something but my experience was horrible. Halfway through my appointment the lady mentions she doesn’t have the shade I want. She did a really bad job with the nails as they were very uneven and sloppy. I told her to immediately remove them and that’s when she accidentally cut my finger. The remnants of the fake nails are still on my finger nails as they weren’t properly removed. AND I HAD TO PAY FOR THIS SERVICE.

Ruby Gonzalez This isnt the first time I get service here and I felt like something was missing. This time They didnt clean my nails properly. The older color mixed with the new color and it gave it the appearance of being dirty. They rushed me in & rushed me out. On the go and last minute plans made this a viable option. Be wary.

C C Literally the only place i can get the best gel manicure. They file it down so nicely and take their time. They do nice eyebrows and dont charge extra for cuticles

Shantelle Difondi Wanted to try a new place and I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!! Literally had to keep reshaping and repainting over and over again until I just said forget it. Then they were rushing my daughters nails, wouldn’t let them completely dry in the nail dryer and to top it off they forgot to put the top coat on each of our nails. I will never return

Krista Darling Most of the time I have a great experience but today was a little different… I got there at about 12:20pm and sat in a chair waiting for a technician. No one even wrapped my nails. Nobody told me how much longer it was going be. I sat there for a full 40 minutes and watched two other people walk in and get serviced before me so disappointed, especially on a Sunday. They should be better staffed or only accept appointments and no walk ins if they can’t handle the volume.

If you are in New Hartford, Utica, Mohawk Valley, Washington Mills, New York Mills, Rome and need your nails done perfectly, go to Duke.

Briana Moriarty I’ve been going to Duke Nails for years now and the service and staff are both incredible. I’ve done gel polish, gel dip, and gel X and love all of them. I recommend making an appointment as they do get busy. I’ve never been unsatisfied with any of the services I receive.

Nathaly Quezada I like lhamo very much. Everyone should go to duke nail to find lhamo. It was a very good experience. I got a brand new nail. Viviana gave me a strong foot massage. I had a very comfortable and relaxing time.

Kristina Scerbo Myself and daughters went I got a gel manicure my 2 daughters wanted gel dip. I used to go there many years ago and I believe the massage was included in the price of your service so when he asked for a massage I said sure. I was done within an hour , my kids were 2 hours, no gel dip my one daughter said her nails were paper thin my other daughter her nails fell off by the end of the day. Called them said to come back, we did, the guy at the desk was very rude laughing saying no they are not lose and when we first cashed out told my daughter how much to tip her lady and I was charged for my massage! You think when they ask if you want a massage they would tell you they charge for it! My daughter was very uncomfortable cashing out cause he was laughing and pressuring her to tip more than what she wanted! Will not be returning!

Mia Kenney When I say I was highly disappointed after my experience here, it is an understatement. My nails didnt come out how I wanted and I paid over $80 for them! That is outrageous. Not to mention my nails came out all different shapes and sizes. Also I was there for almost 3 hours. No nail appointment should take more then an hour and a half. The only good thing about this experience was the color of my nails and the fact that she was nice.

I decided to give them another chance but the quality was so poor and every time theyd increase the price. My friends have also had bad experiences with them: bumpy manicures, and sloppy "designs". Save your money and time.

Kate So I asked for a manicure with oval nails. She filed my nails and painted them every nail is a different shape. She didnt cut my cuticles or use lotion or anything. Then I had to dry my nails with the mini fan at her station because the dryer was broken. I have been getting manicures for years with this store and I never had a problem till now.
