Susan Carlson What a relaxing hair salon! I have never (comfortably) had my hair washed before my appointment at the Mad Hatter. She had me sit on a pillow which elevated me enough to make my neck comfortable. Who knew? Not me! She proceeded to perfectly adjust the water temperature...even Goldilocks would have liked it. She not only washed my hair, she gave a lovely head massage. Not one drop of water/soap found its way into my face, down my neck, or soaked my clothes... thats a first for me! The owner, Kathy Smith, obviously has high standards for all her clients and we are all appreciative of the exceptional care she gives to each of us. Thank you, Kathy!

Josh Ronen I walked into symmetry with 0 expectations. Dylan took me as a walk in. He proceeded to give me an excellent haircut, I was impressed and he completely exceeded my expectations. I am normally extremely picky about my haircuts, but desperately needed one and decided to gamble on Dylan and I’m really happy I did as he definitely earned himself a new customer. I also almost never write Google reviews, but since he’s a new barber, and actually gave me the best haircut I’ve gotten since I’ve moved into the area I had to leave him one.

Reilly Burke This is the absolute best place to get a cut anywhere near the Canandaigua area. Been going to Max for about 2 years now and would never go anywhere else. He is insanely talented. The barbershop is clean and has a great atmosphere that makes you excited to go in and get your cut. The entire staff is really welcoming and knowledgable. Every time I get a haircut, I have people complement it and that speaks volumes for the work and craftsmanship that the staff at Symmetry has. My favorite part is the warm towel treatment I get each time I go in. If you want a premier cut, and a welcoming, fun environment all at a great price, Symmetry is the place to be.

Rachel Peck I haven’t had a regular barber until now. Max has been cutting my hair for about a year now and he’s my go-to! Everyone is super friendly. Very clean establishment. Always good laughs in there!

Forrest Vreeland A great place with a relaxed atmosphere. Alaina has been my go-to stylist for a few years now. Shes incredibly talented and a joy to talk with. Go with Symmetry and youll come out looking sharp.

Drew Fowler I have been getting my haircut by Max for a while now. Every time I have gone in he always meets me with a smile and a great personality. He’s very skillful and always produces amazing cuts! He always manages to cut my hair exactly how I want it. The shop atmosphere is great too, overall an awesome place to get a cut.

Jeremy Trillaud What can I say to get you through the door. Maybe that this hair salon is one the best around. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. It may not be the biggest salon but it sure makes up for it with amount of raw talent radiating inside. I have been coming to see Danielle for over a year. Everytime my appointment is coming up I look forward to it. Its such a pleasant and relaxing experience with a lot of professionalism. I always leave feeling great! If your looking to book I suggest doing it early. It books up quick. But that should only prove that Halo Salon is such a beloved and popular salon. People want to return, its just that good!

Sara Reynolds Roxanne the owner has a special kind of gift. Karma is a full service nail salon with a atmosphere that cant be matched. My nails are the kind youd see on pinterest but better. I cant rave about them enough.

She knows each of her clients on more than just a first name basis... She truly takes the time to listen to what you have to say and actually remembers it lol! I am so beyond happy that she has her own shop it really feels "homey" its a very warm, home, comfortable shop! Sara has done an AMAZING job Since the very first time she has EVER cut my hair!!! Madison is talented and can do such fun cuts and incredible colors- especially alternative style cuts which is VERY hard to find!

Catherine Hiller The Lake Salon, owned and operated by Jennifer.Stanley, is simply superb. Jen is by far the best hairstylist I have experienced in my 10 years living in the Rochester area. I have a particular cut I like and Jen is able to render it perfectly. She also did my eyebrows very well. She is a lovely person and a pleasure to spend an appointment with. Jen and her husband own the building so her overhead is low and she is able to offer extremely competitive prices. I will never go anywhere else!

Yvonne Yip This past Wednesday was my first time at The Lake Salon and I had a wonderful experience and haircut. Upon arriving, I was welcomed by Jen, who was warm and friendly! I shared with her that I was planning to grow out my hair so I wanted a short trim with layers. Jen did an amazing job and styled my hair with subtle waves that looked so natural. Kristin Buch Jennifer is incredibly warm and talented. I LOVE my color! I left with the most natural blond highlights. Her hair cuts are awesome, and she is quick and efficient. I took my two young daughters to her too and they felt like superstars. Her prices are very reasonable. During COVID, a huge positive for me is that there is no one else in the salon other than you and her (masks still required).
