Lynn Downey Its a little scary going to a new hair stylist particularly when youve not had such great prior experiences. Thankfully my concerns were put to rest almost immediately upon meeting Jenn. She not only asked questions and thoroughly checked the state of my hair but she listened to my thoughts and what Im hoping to achieve. I needed to have quite a bit of my locks cut to help get them in good enough condition to move forward. Jenn asked me to wait several weeks to go ahead with coloring and gave suggestions to work on the health of my hair. Im certainly not looking forward to the regrowth situation that Im going to be stuck with while waiting but Im incredibly grateful that the integrity of my hair was her main concern and not making a quick dollar at my expense. Game plan is in place for my next visit, Ive been learning to style my new, short style and embracing the change. Sonja Walker I booked an appointment with Vanessa for my little sister, grandmother and myself. 2 gel sets and an acrylic fill; all I have to say is I have never received such wonderful service from start to finish. Considering she was working with a figity 7 year old and an older woman who have never had their nails done she was absolutely spectacular. Very patient, kind and extremely detailed oriented. Making sure we were comfortable and really just giving good vibes only. We were in and out in a little under 2.5 hours and the price was so affordable and more than fair in my opinion. I can not speak highly enough about Vanessas work and hands down would recommend anyone looking for nail services to book with her ASAP!

Plattsburgh Yipes I have been going to Sassy Images for several months now. Everyone is super friendly and the salon itself is very nice and super clean. I do not have one person who cuts my hair, as I almost always just walk in. They usually can get you right in, and even when I have had to wait, it was never more than 10 minutes. It does not hurt that their prices are very good as well. I highly recommend Sassy Images Salon to anyone needing any sort of salon service.

Brianna Baker After a frustrating experience with another hair salon cancelling my daughters hair appointments 2 days in a row after we already showed up for the appointments and not cancelling until we showed up I ended up calling Ovations Salon Spa and spoke with Katy who was beyond so professional and nice and took on doing my daughters hair for us even though she was pretty booked for the rest of the day and we were a last minute call in the afternoon. She made the experience amazing for my daughter and her hair came out way better than we even expected. My daughter got a full head of highlights and a butterfly cut and her hair styled after. She made sure not only my daughters experience was great but also that me as her mother was at ease and had a good experience too. I will never be able to thank Katy enough for going above and beyond to make my daughters night and help us have her hair looking amazing for picture day. I will continue to bring her to see Katy and the salon was calm/relaxing and clean with such friendly people. Katy has a great personality and friendly and truelly shows she cares about her clients and enjoys her job.

Angelic Hammond I want to start by saying Kaylee was Phenomenal! I would recommend her to anyone. I called around to get an appointment for a kids cut and she had some same day availability. My son is only 20 months and he sat great Kaylee was awesome with him and the results were perfect. I brought my daughter back the next day and overall she was way to nervous and stressed to get her haircut Kaylee was great and tried to work with us as much as possible and I appreciate everything she did. The problem is this is very much not a kid friendly place and I felt very judged by the other stylist. I get it I have a 20 month old and my daughter is only 3.5 she essentially was throwing a tantrum but the other customers seemed very kind and understanding however I heard several unkind remarks from two of the other stylist in regards to myself and my children so unfortunately we won’t be returning. Again Kaylee was amazing and if you have the chance definitely book with her!

Kayla Fry Ive been to this place one other time and it was rather pleasant. This time around not so much. My daughter has Autism and severe ADHD and I had mentioned this when the stylist was asking what we were doing with my daughters hair. She said it wasnt a problem and continued on. We asked for below shoulder length hair, with some layers. And if she could frame her bangs around her face. My daughter was extra wiggly and we did everything we could to help keep her still. The stylist cut her hair way to stort to start, and when she layered it she basically cut off another four inches of surface hair without really blending it in. Then instead of framing her bangs she just slightly cut the bottoms of them and left the sides the same length they were prior to cutting. When she was almost finished with her hair she made a comment "Well, if you sat still this would be over much more quickly". That right there really killed me because did I not say in the beginning that she had Autism and ADHD. The hair cut wasnt great, neither was the stylist. If you dont know how to work with kids then dont offer to cut their hair.

Steve Peryer I had 2 men’s haircuts and I found them very busy,and waiting 30 minutes from my appointment for a simple men’s haircut. The price went up in the 2 months I was there, and I am sorry to say I won’t be returning unless the time of appointment is close to the time I made it, and the price won’t keep rising from one month to the next.
