Gina Marie Barrios I had a GREAT color, highlight and haircut appt. with Laura. She has a studio inside of Sola Salon Studios in White Plains which is great for me because its close and I can walk. There is a parking garage also if I had to drive but she is in a great location. (Close to Target). Her space is clean and comfortable-She listened to what I wanted, looked at my pictures and did the best job. I will definitely be back!

Tracy Kasten I absolutely LOVED the outcome of my hair color! Madison took the time to listen to my concerns and the experiences I had with my previous colorist, as well as the expectations I had about what I wanted. In between leaving my previous colorist a couple of years ago and finding Madsion, I did the inevitable—coloring my own hair for 2 years!—which ended in an absolute disaster from using/experimenting with various brands and shades of drugstore color kits all the while “trying” to find and achieve my “perfect” color (LOL). The very last time I colored my hair, it turned orange…EEK!!!! I tagged along with my friend, who had an appointment with Madison, so I could get a consultation about my hair color; I was so embarrassed, but Madison assured me that she would be able to fix my hair color. She urged me to wait (…and it was a dreadfully 9 very LONG weeks…) so that the at-home dye would fade, and my roots would grow out a little. I anxiously waited (and waited and waited…LOL) and was so excited when my appointment day finally arrived! Once again, Madison took the time to listen to my concerns and my wants. I was prepared with some pictures of what I hoped the color and highlights would look like. About 2 ½-3 hours later, I was IN LOVE with my hair. It was more gorgeous and amazing than what I had even expected. Kudos to Madison on achieving such beautiful color!

From the beginning, I felt so comfortable with Ashley because she explained everything I needed to know before I came in, she both listened to what I wanted and gave her professional input without any pressure at the consultation, and she just had good energy overall. During the appointment, the conversation was pleasant, and she even made me a coffee. She did her work with apparent ease and made my fine hair look SO pretty! I had been a total newb, and honestly kind of lazy, at doing my own hair for a long time, but I was ready for a change, and Ashley was kind enough to answer all of my questions and explain what she was doing as she finished my cut with a blow-dry and style. Not only was I super thrilled with the way my hair looked at the end of my appointment, I now feel much more confident and able to elevate my own look whenever I want (Though not as good as she did, haha. Maybe with a lot more practice!) I will definitely be returning in the future for maintenance or maybe another change, and I highly recommend that anyone reading this go to ALC Hair!
