Maria I was a walk in, first time I came to this salon for a gel manicure. Mia prepped by base, and ryan painted my nails. Both of them are amazing and have great customer service, especially from Mia. My nails came out great. They took their time and paid attention to details. I have been to many nail salons in the area, and some of them are so much busier, BUT this place is my new gem, I will be going back for sure and definitely recommend checking it out !!!

Tabitha Harting I recently visited Mia Nails and I can confidently say it was one of the best nail experiences Ive ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The salon itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, which instantly put name at ease. I opted for both a manicure and a pedicure, and I was blown away by the level of service. The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of care I received. They provide you with your own nail supplies stored in a box with your name and birthdate to use each time you come in. My nail technician was attentive, professional, and truly skilled. They took their time to ensure that every detail was perfect, and I left with nails that looked stunning! The highlight of my visit was the amazing massage during the pedicure. It was heavenly! The combination of a relaxing massage and the pampering of my feet made for an unforgettable experience. I felt like I was floating on a cloud by the time I was done. If youre looking for a nail salon that offers great value, exceptional cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere, look no further. I cant recommend them highly enough, and I’ll definitely be returning for my regular nail care!

Kerri Malcolm I have been to many nail salons over the years. Mia Nails is the best of the best. I bring in a picture of what I want and they do it exactly. The prices are awesome and I will not go anywhere else. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

Sharanya Rachel John New management now and they’re super welcoming and kind. Ryan did an acrylic set for me with tips and it costed $50. I think he said shapes (coffin/almond) would be $5 extra on top of that. Same goes for length (an extra $5 on top of $50). He was extremely patient in answering all the questions I had (which were a loooot btw) and had no issues repeating himself. Communication was a bit of a problem but you know what, it did not matter. He did an excellent job and I love my nails. They’re super sturdy and shiny. Mia Nails is (relatively) new in the area and I found everything waaaay better than a couple of salons I’ve been to. I went to Colorful Nails a lot, and always felt so congested in there. Limited space and the owner always finds the need to justify every single thing that happens in his salon and he’s just unstoppable. I do not like that behavior one bit. The environment at Mia on the contrary, is very calm and comfortable. Did get a few cuts from the electric nail drill, but mistakes tend to happen I guess. Prices are affordable and they also give you a coupon for the next visit if you pay in cash. Ryan is extremely sincere and returned some extra cash we handed him by mistake! Isn’t that just amazing? He’ll offer you a complimentary back massage too if you need one (for sitting put that long). I definitely recommend trying them out! Do not hesitate in giving them a chance! 10/10 for honesty, sincerity, politeness, kindness, effort, and patience.

Isabella Grasso I have been going to Queen House for about 3 years now. I have never had a bad experience! The salon is beautiful and always clean. Jason and Camille are always very friendly and accommodating. I went yesterday to get my nails done for my wedding and Roy did an absolutely AMAZING job. He was so patient and kind. He worked so hard to make my nails perfect and I could tell he wanted to make sure I loved them. I am so happy with them! Thank you again Roy!

Kat Lippert Cici was AMAZING!!! These are the best nails I’ve ever gotten. She spent lots of time filing and shaping my nails to make sure they were all even, and she cut the nail tips to fit my small nails better. Service was wonderful, very nice and clean salon too. Will definitely be coming again. Thank you so much!!

JENNIFER PRICE Very clean and professional but he cut me and never said a thing, just pretended it was fine while I kept bleeding. I know there’s a language barrier, totally understandable, but still maybe just say sorry? I bled for 15 minutes and it really burned but I know accidents happen, just nice to have it acknowledged. *The owner addressed my situation and was very helpful and professional, I went back and had my nails done and they’re beautiful. I’ll be back.

Chelsea Light I found my new nail place! Queen House has been able to accommodate me for same day appointments as long as I call in advance. I’ve been to Niki twice for an ombré manicure and she does such a fantastic job! My first one lasted nearly a month and I could’ve kept it on even longer. Thank you to the staff and especially Niki for such an amazing job. My last 2 manicures have been my favorite manicures ever.

Heather Mantica Finally found my place and tech. Very clean and professional. Have seen a few techs here and Sherri will be my go to from now on. She was fast but also took her time to make my nails perfect.

Alyson Armstrong Absolutely positive experience with Christina at Studio 23! She did a fantastic job with my nails that I haven’t had done in years simply because there’s a lack of high standards in this area when it comes to safe, sanitary practices. Not only does she do great nails using those high standards but the salon is so pretty and inviting and both she and her sister are very nice and friendly. Such a great comfortable vibe. Can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Christina,I’ll definitely be back!

Amanda Diaz If you are looking for a place who cares about your experience, nail quality, and design look no further! Christina was super easy to talk to and helped me decide what nails I should get for vacation. The interior is welcoming, cozy, and clean. You can really tell the owners care about the customer experience and have a passion for what they do. They have a PATIO you can enjoy and its designed beautifully as well! Crystal Berger I have always enjoyed going to Wonder Nail Spa for pedicures and Happy Feet (AHHHH-MAZING!!) but recently I started treating myself to some manicures and pretty nails. I walked in with a picture of what I wanted and they did NOT disappoint. I am OBSESSED with my new nails and can’t wait to see what design they kill next time!! Highly recommend you give them a try!

Alyse Bass I wanted a white gel manicure, simple enough right? Well, I guess not, I got a nude almost. The service is great and the workers are super nice, it’s just I specified plain white gel nails and didn’t get it. I paid $35 for these, also I got them done for prom, prom is may 6th. I guess I’ll be going home and painting them white… Oh and you may be asking why I didn’t ask them to fix them again, and it’s because I have awful social anxiety, and had already asked for them to be white after she painted them.

Jo-An Parish What a nice experience I had very friendly a woman named Grace did my nails. She was fantastic. The nail art was beautiful. I had acrylic done with gel. I love my nails and I love this place. It was my first time going there and I felt amazing when I left there.

Mary Console I went a few days ago it was downpouring. The lady I had not grace wasn’t to nice. I wanted my toes cut shorter she said no no. When I got home 2 of my nails were smeared. I went back today to have touch up. Got a guy not friendly at all… did my 2 toes I said thank you. He said nothing.

Shanice Helena Paid $73 for the worst nails ever! Gave her a simple design and she wouldnt even give her mistakes. Lines are shakey and the nail polish isnt filled in enough. Now I can see the bottom of the polish. Will never go back here. Now I gotta fix them myself. and its my birthday SMDH

Beth Levy Went here today with someone else and it was just after it opened. There was one other customer. It was very rushed. There wasn’t anyone behind us. I repeated at least three different times that I wanted ANC and ended up with gel because I wasn’t being understood. The manicurist left blank spots on my nails that I had to ask her the fix three different times. There is already small cracks in my polish and it’s only been a few hours. I can’t say that the price I paid of $50 was worth it. My manicurist was in a rush to just go back to a chair to sit and put on her headphones. I will not being coming back.

Kelsie Neal DO NOT GO HERE. The worst manicure I ever had in my life. I was there right when they opened and they had one other customer. The lady that did my nails was rushing like there was a line out the door. Didn’t even take the time to file them properly. My 9 year old could have done a better job. Not only was the manicure horrible the place is dirty! Do not waste your money here, not worth it!!!!

Iris Duggan My aunt came here for a manicure and told me all about her experience, I was very surprised because she usually never has issues with nail salons. All of her nails were very rough when she left. There were also little bits of fuzzy things sticking to them. A few hours later, her polish was already messed up. All of the flip-flops looked used and dirty. Everything there just looked unsanitary. Ive never been here myself, but after hearing her experience, I would definitely not come here.

Kateri Turner The most expensive ANC nails I ever paid for and they literally all started peeling 10mins later.. TEN MINUTES. I’ve gotten my nails done for years and peeling has never happened to me. I just walked in thinking I was saving time when shopping one day - avoid this place if possible.

SUSAN CLERMONT Yesterday I went back to re- try DL but what an absolute disappointment again. The gentleman who applied my ANC was so distracted on the phone and terrible workmanship. Clumps water spots and dust stuck in the wet top coat I will now never go again. This is awful I now need to go to a reputable place to have these nails fixed (pictures do not really pick up imperfections but honestly just awful)

tifkinsify DL Nail Bar will be the only place I go for all of my nail needs from here on out. I have been trying to find a nail salon that is clean, reasonably priced, with friendly and knowledgeable staff for the past year. I don’t have to search any longer! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the cleanliness and brightness of the interior. There were multiple sterilizing machines visible and not a speck of trash or debris in sight. The prices were listed in brochures available on the counter, as well as posted on a large sign on the wall. They have a handy iPad available to check in if you booked an appointment, but they also accept walk-ins as the schedule allows. The website is well laid out and makes booking a breeze! There was a large TV that was easily visible from anywhere in the salon, and I was offered a chilled water bottle as I was seated. The polish color selection was very inclusive, they even had color changing options! The pedicure seats double as massage chairs which is a lovely treat. Hung greeted me when I walked in and helped me choose the service best suited to my needs. I choose the Deluxe Pedicure package with callus removal and gel polish. The pedicure cost $45, the callus removal cost $5, and the gel polish cost $10 which I found to be very affordable. Hung talked me through the entire process and explained what he was doing as he did it, always checking in with me to gauge my comfort level. The cuticle care and callus removal Hung performed was top tier! I even had a few old popped blisters he was able to make practically disappear. I was NEVER in pain which is a huuuuge deal to me, because I have spent a year getting torn up and bloody from other techs. The pedicure lasted about an hour, and they even offered a discount for paying cash. My feet and toes were ROUGH going in and look completely transformed! I highly recommend this nail salon for anyone who wants a knowledgeable and gentle nail tech with excellent and affordable service!

Lindsay Tomaszek Steph is theeeee best! Always takes her time and does an amazing job. Gives me recommendations for new styles. Also doubles as my therapist :). Been going to the salon for over 2 years and never had a bad experience. Love this place can’t recommend enough.

Elaine Essien Under new ownership. I loved the old owner Kit and team. He told me it was $10 for a soak off, I gave him a $20. He only gave me $5 back, refused to give me my entire change back when I asked. Then after all the back and forth he said it’s 15 not 10. That’s robbing/stealing.

Kathryn Chamberlain I went with my daughter who loves the place. We did a mani /pedi During my pedicure, the tech scraped a chunk off the side of my toe. It hurt and was bleeding. The weird thing was that she didn’t even acknowledge she had done it or apologize. I had to ask for a bandaid and the manager came over and saw my bleeding toe and she didn’t say anything or apologize either. And then they charged me full price for my service like nothing had happened. It really put me off to this place and I don’t recommend.

Sara Dolan Such a pleasant experience. The staff are so kind and the environment felt fun! I got ombré for the first time and am so impressed with the overlook, and that they are not thick and gummy (as they were from the last place I went).

Katie Maher I got anc powder and less than 24hrs later the surface is crackled on every nail. My nail tech was really nice but she was too quick and careless, she cut two of my fingers with the nail file.

K I went in to Rainbow Nail & Spa for the first time. After looking at the mixed reviews, i can honestly say that my personal experience was great. It’s a family atmosphere; yes it may not be your typical ‘bougie’ salon, but they had the tools they needed to do the job. I think folks should give this place a chance and be open minded with the process and if a situation occurs; mistakes happen and we cannot let it ruin our day. It’s best to work together to find a solution. I should have asked the price before i made the reservation so i had to deal with the total. I paid 43 for pedicure, and 35 for manicure. The lady did nudge for me to give a tip and i felt bad if i said no so i put in 5 bucks. She did try to sell me their other services in the beginning but i kindly declined. They’re just doing what every business does, i think it’s good to support our local nail salons. Nonetheless, nails were beautiful, and the workers were very nice. Just always make sure to prepare yourself with the price no matter where you get your nails done :)

K Ekstrom Jenny is a true artist! I used to get my nails done here with my mom, who is no longer with us. I decided to go back to get my nails done for my sister’s wedding, and they are just as good as I remember them being. Jenny was so meticulous, and really spent a lot of time making sure all my nails were even and that they matched. I did have one nail pop off after 4 days, but I had jammed it, so it was my fault. I will absolutely be going back when I need my nails done again.

Kristen Bishop I am still in disbelief in how awful my experience was here. I am now stuck with damaged nails because of them until i figure out another time to govthat i dont have my baby and dont have to work. This was also my first time out treating myself to a baby free visit to the salon since having my 10 month old. I asked for a manicure with ANC, no tips, just in my natural nails. Im a mom who works 45-50 hours a week, and I do not have a maid or nanny (lol). My hands are rough right now. Dirty nails, hang nails...rough. the man filed my nails (barely), they arent shaped, or even but I didnt care I was happy to be getting my nails done! Then he starts doing the ANC base. Doesnt soak my hands, doesnt clean up my cuticles, or remove the dirt from under my nails. Nothing. So I kindly ask about this and explain the service Ive received in the past that includes these things, he says "Yes, ANC manicure". I am thinking ok maybe they do it different now? Then he starts with the color powder. I started to feel very anxious and said I was really uncomfortable with this and pointed out my cuticles, dirty nails, hair stuck to his equipment and the woman that greeted me, states in a firm less than pleasant tone that ANC is nails only. What? Then when I explain I had this before she says if I want a manicure its extra. I dont know where the miscommunication was but I was horrified at the service, the lack of empathy, and the dirty equipment/supplies. I asked him to remove the color from the 3 nails that he had just dipped in powder. I had chunks of the anc flying at me, one piece went in my eye, its flying at my face, going in my hair....it was straight out of a sitcom. Only it wasnt funny. I will never go back to this place, not even if I was offered free services. Just terrible.

Mykhalia Worst manicure I’ve ever received. If I could give 0 stars I would. The nail tech broke all my natural nails off didn’t even clean up the excess polish. Filed my nails down til my nail bed was raw and it hurt. Left the nail salon and my nails were smudged hated the experience so much didn’t even want to go back inside to get nails fixed.

I usually get ANC and the manicurists have always been kind and very gentle. Also they’re FAST! Great if you need to get in and out and be totally happy with your nails. Prices are super fair as well.

Natalie Leuci I had a great experience at Colorful Nails. I called ahead of time to ask if they had the chrome powder that I wanted to use for this design. I ended up speaking with the owner and he had me send over the design that I wanted. He sent me color samples and had my technician create mock up nails ahead of time. This was above and beyond. My nail technician, Alicia, did exactly what I wanted. Everyone in the salon was friendly. Very clean and organized. Will definitely go back!

ASA Upoma Very Bad service and really disappointed with their professionalism! Firstly they kept me waiting for 20min in spite of booking my appointment earlier. No value of time given. Secondly the service provider was in a hurry to do everything and was very rough with my hands. It caused cuts in my nail cuticles which were very painful and burning for the next 2 days!! I couldn’t even eat food with my hands cz it would cause burning!! Unbelievable! I have done manicure in hundred times in other places but none of them caused this!! Never doing manicure here again! Makiya D I was overcharged for a pedicure and a “gel x” manicure. My “gel x” was not gel x. I have no idea what it was. I’ve had 4 nails break, or pop off like press ons 3 days after I got them done. Now I’m on vacation trying to find salons to fix my nails every dang day. Will not be going back. Not worth over $150

Katie Rogers This was my first time going here. I have to say the experience was much better than usual. The woman that did my nails was very nice and super efficient. My only issue is my paint started chipping day 3. Even at mall salons, I’ve never experienced chipping especially this early. Super disappointed.

The nail technician (I believe her name was Francesca) was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. She was so patient with my daughter and did an amazing job on her nails! I highly recommend both Francesca and this salon.

Cassandra BURRELL Extremely rushed. The guy smeared my thumb nail and when I asked him to fix it, I seemed to be a big bother. The top coat doesn’t even cover my entire nails making them look all bumpy. I’m very happy I decided to just get a basic manicure instead of spending money on something more expensive. I do not recommend.

Kathleen DeRusso I had one gel mani that I was very happy with. The second visit though, I went to the same man but it was very rushed. I ended up with very sloppy amateurish nails. Lots of streaks and imperfections which shouldn’t happen with a gel mani. I don’t plan to return.

NIKKI Hughes DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Service was horrible. I complained about how short my toe nails were cut and was still charged the full service. Look at the pic. All of my toes nails were cut way too short. Beyond SHORT! And then the lady watched me get the money out of the ATM machine as if I was going to leave without paying when I should have been watching her cut my toe nails. Would not ever come here again!

Emily Cruz I’ve had my nails done twice with ANC and tips and I’m never coming back. The first time they were just ok but I just thought it was Bc they were busy. They came off no problem. The second time?? It’s been 5 weeks and they’re still on (3 fell off) and it seems like they’ll never come off. They’re overgrown so I had to finally cut them w scissors and file them down. one nail is so loose but stuck to one part of my nail so whenever I hit it, it bleeds and my whole finger is swollen. I just want them to come off at this point- they hurt so bad its like they used superglue or something. Update: the nail glue was stuck to my skin... Probably Bc they rush the process so much. Not cool.

Ashley shaik I made an appointment, i ended up being seen 30 minutes later due to people not showing up on time to their own appointment- I was pushed to be later than expected. Nan was the one who did my nails, she seemed nice but she was busy doing 3 other things while she was doing my gel acrylic fill. (She was answering calls, doing waxes and putting people in for appointments). I know she has a business to own and run but I’m also a customer, who felt as if I was put on the back burner. I’m sitting in your chair, I should be a priority. My nails looked horrible when I walked out, she didn’t ask if the color was the right one when she used it on my nails, she didn’t do any care to my cuticle or dead skin around my nail, the gel wasn’t cleaned up after. The gel polish was under my nails and looks completely unprofessional. I choose a lavender color with confidence and now I regret it. She didn’t check to see if the size of the nails were the same size on each hand, she didn’t even change buffing blocks or filing sticks from what I saw, you can tell it was used by another customer. I’m just at a loss, I keep going place to place in hopes I’ll find a good nail salon and it looks like I’ve given up. This place won’t have my business again.

Eydid Ali I am so taken aback by how amazing of a job these girls did. My girlfriend and I came here for the first time because we just moved here and they not only took us as a walkin but did such a fantastic job making us feel at home. The prices were so cheap and the vibes were great. We are coming back again in two weeks ! Also side note, I’m a man and this is a very welcoming place for all types of men. I didn’t get ridiculed at all :)

Misbah The best nail salon I have ever been to in Albany. Starting with how reasonable the prices are. This place take their time and makes sure you are truly satisfied. I have been to places in Albany that rip you off and do a horrible job. This is my new favorite spot and the staff is wonderful is super sweet. They do take cash only but they also have a zelle option. I truly recommend you guys try this place out. I am a permanent customer now. Not to mention how cute the place is!!! Super clean and super aesthetically pleasing.

Breanna Miller The photos do it no justice honestly. My nails came out so SO bad and I wasted $50 at US nails. I asked for almond and this is what I got, they were bumpy, way too short, uneven and somehow round almost. She didnt even soak my old nails off that I came in with she ripped them off using another nail. My cuticles and nails werent touched (no filing, trim) she literally just went straight in with the fake nails after taking off my old ones. Also, not photographed but there was powder mixed with other nail stuff left under my nails and skin after she finished. She was extremely stern and somehow ended up being the one upset when I asked her to take them off and for a refund. 0/10 overall, save yourself the time and money do not go here!!

Maria Redfern Went here for the first time today. Treated myself to a pedicure and acrylic nails. I read reviews prior and was booked with Sonny. Sonny did an amazing job and took his time with my nails. They turned out EXACTLY like the picture I showed him. My pedicure was great too but I chose basic white nails and the standard pedicure and my pedi was done by another staff. She did a great job as well and was friendly and made sure I was content with what she was doing. As someone who has not been to the nail salon in over 2 years I was so glad I came today. Sonny was so precise and careful, not once did I feel burning on my nails from the drill nor was I cut at all. Truly an amazing experience. Thank you so much!

Misbah Overpriced and do a horrible job literally go somewhere else and get a better job done. This was $65 all because they put chrome when I never asked them to and had charged me $15 for almond shape that’s not even shaped properly. Gave me the nastiest attitude when I spoke up. They had fixed the air bubbles and scratches that were on my nails before however even that can’t fix the mess. You tell me these are definitely not worth $65. You will think they are cheap until they triple the price on you. Insanity. Save your money and buy press ons. I am sure even $20 press ons are better than this. Also I never asked for chrome and when I said I don’t want it she insisted on them because they were already on my nail.

Jenny Lasanta I have been getting my nails done by Yvonne for some time now even back before she had her own salon! Shes efficient, professional, quick & personable. In 2022 I got married & of course my girls & I went to her to get our manicures & pedicures & she went above & beyond. Her & her staff is the place to go!!!

Asia Tibbs-Palmer I walked in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was serviced immediately. First thing I noticed is they don’t use the bags for the pedicure bowls. That’s unsanitary to me. My pedicure turned out okay, not the best. My manicure on the other hand was not pleasing at all. The coats were too thick and she did not cover my full nails. Less than 3 days later my nail polish were coming off like a sticker. I will not be returning.
