Erika Murray I’ve always had an amazing manicure at WellZen. Today Amanda, the manager, blew it out of the park. Always meticulous and precise she gave me a gel manicure with extensions and I was in and out in 1/2 the time. Very happy and will always come back.

Rebecca Goldman I’m not traditionally a design on my nails girly, but I wanted to change it up and do something different this time. I brought in a few photos and Danna was able to replicate it spot on. She was super thorough, meticulous, and detailed, and I think they look so nice! Wellzen has always been my spot for nails, but now I am even more impressed with the options! Definitely recommend Danna for designs!

Vicki Minervino I’ve gotten tips/gel x at WellZen done a few times and after this last set, it will be my last. Less than two weeks ago, when I got my last set done, it was genuinely painful when they were applying the glue under the UV light to the point where I was uncomfortaWhile they can be quick to get you in, my experience with the manager has always been lack luster when she does my nails and the last set I had I felt like I was coaching as to what an almond tip should be. This last time I got gel X after being told they were stronger than tips and before two weeks was up, I’ve lost 8/10 nail tips from pulling at the nail bed or getting caught and ripping off. I always get compliments on my nails but after more than a few times of being underwhelmed with the service and now not even having a $100 set last two weeks with good maintenance, it’s time to move on from WellZen.

Jack Healy I’ve been to WellZen a number of times over the years and have usually had a pretty good experience. The atmosphere is the best out of most other salons in the neighborhood. I went in about three weeks ago for a manicure-pedicure and it seemed busier than I’d ever seen it. I forget why exactly, but I remember having the suspicion that the nail tech was using an already dirty cuticle trimmer. Within the next week, I developed an extremely painful paronychia (cuticle infection) on my left pointer finger that came close to requiring a trip the ER. I was prescribed two antibiotics and had to have the abscess drained, which was an excruciating experience. My finger is now on the mend, thankfully, but my cuticle is potentially permanently damaged. I myself will not be returning to WellZen (after years of visits) and I highly recommend that those who visit MAKE SURE that the employees are using clean equipment.

Polina Smuglin this place is truly incredible. i have been coming here religiously since december and i have never left disappointed. there is so much care and attention in everything the nail techs at nail top club do - not to mention that they can accommodate any design you ask for! the quality of manicure here is unmatched. i can’t recommend them enough. they are the only reason i’ve been able to kick my cuticle picking habit. Stephanie Falcon Best gel mani in the area! Though it’s pricier than other salons nearby, the service and quality make up for it. The gel always lasts at least 4/5+ weeks. The service is friendly and never feels rushed. They take their time and are very attentive to details.

Nyah Davis Never have I received a pedicure and not gotten a massage and salt scrub. I actually went in for a mani-pedi. After she tried to pull my SNS/Dipping powder off of my nails with cuticle clippers, and tried to cut my long natural nails without asking... I knew it was time to cut the service and stick with my poorly done pedicure. Questionable as to if products are actually cleaned between use. Wont be returning. Nor would I recommend.

Natasha Durel Really chaotic and rushed service. I asked for a french manicure and was told yes. I even had pictures and examples of what I was looking for. The woman I had was painting quickly and chatting and laughing with the tech next to her, which is fine, but in doing this she was creating really uneven lines and I had to be honest a few times and just politely correct and just advocate for what I wanted. They had a few people waiting so it was clear as to why she was zooming through it, and normally im fine with a quicker experience and less spa like, but the quality of the nails was compromised to a degree I had to speak up and now say this. The man working the front came over and I had to show him my nails because she had only done one layer of the white to where the color was transparent, it was uneven, and you could see where the white streaked out of the design and she was saying she was finished. They should have more upfront about who felt confident doing french nails because I ended up having to argue and deal with a confrontation energy with the man at the front and another nail tech who was unwilling to cooperate and step in to do it when I was just simply trying to explain what I wasnt happy with. I shouldnt even have to be in a position to have to argue on a service Im treating myself on. The other nail tech did eventually step in after I had to be firm with all of them on what I needed taken care of and she then painted and simultaneously taught the one who originally was doing my nails. All three of them stood there awkwardly the rest of the time and at that point I was pissed off and just quiet. I still paid and tipped, but it was unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional.

Chloe Dong Although language communication is limited, but the nail technicians there are quite professional and nice. They would ask me if it hurts when waxing and if I wanted to change the nail color. The environment is very comfortable and overall a nice place to get your nails done on a Sunday morning.

Steffryz I came here for tips. At first, they came out perfectly. Then she went in with the machine and filed the nail so much between the nail and cuticle that it no longer connected. Just a gap and im sure they do this to get you to come in the following week for a filling. By the time she painted them, it was horrendous! The nails were lumpy, uneven and with a gap. Dont bother with this place. They charged me 36 for nails that didnt even last a week.

I got a gel mani and asked for a little heart on each middle nail for Valentines Day and they did such a great job. I cant wait to go back again!

Jordan Austin I’ve lived in Williamsburg for about a year now and have had the hardest time finding a place that is reasonably priced, quick, and does a great job. I’m so happy I found this place. My nails always look great (I get a gel manicure) and I’m in and out within an hour. The women here are always super sweet and listen to what you’re looking for!

Carina Fagiani Nails and spa by patty is hands down the best nail salon ive been to in this neighborhood. I had Mery and she did such a good job and was sooo fast! This space is CLEAN and the staff was so accommodating which was awesome because i work in the area and needed to be out in an hour. Got gel on both my hands and feet in 60 minutes on the dot, incredible!! Will definitely be back

Sara Newman This place is wonderful and the staff is so sweet. They do an amazing gel mani and pedi and it usually stays one quite a while. I always call ahead to see if they have availability and they are usually able to take me within a couple hours

Ruqaiyah Johnson I am a regular at W Rich Nails and I am always happy with my nails when I leave. The owner, Helen, is always kind and her staff are friendly and skilled. They are capable of doing both simple and more complicated designs. They have a dedication to making sure that the quality and aesthetic of the work is excellent. In addition, they will always touch up or fix for you if you have any issues later on. I’ve been to many nail salons but this is my favorite. Highly recommend!

There is no reason that I should have to sit here and wait 3-4 hours to get my nails done when only 2 people are ahead of me EVERY month that I come here.

Asia Lily Valentine I never make reviews but after my experience here I HAD to. I came to this shop for the first time and needed a fill. My nails were 3 weeks grown out and they were just very sloppy and messy when I originally got them done 3 weeks ago at different shop. Kim was AMAZING. Her attention to detail is exactly what I’m looking for when I get my nails done. She changed my previous coffin shaped nails to almond shaped without an extra charge. She made sure I actually liked how they looked MULTIPLE times before putting on polish. She pushed my cuticles back before doing my fill (I honestly don’t think any nail tech has done that on my nails), and they are thin, strong, and natural looking as if they are my own nails. The majority of the time I get my nails done, they’re a little too thick and bumpy. She even helped me pick the right color red because the original one we both agreed was a little too orange. When applying the polish, she made sure to get around the edges of the nails and get as close to my cuticles as possible. You’d think that would be the standard at every nail salon. Everything felt very clean and I watched her take her tools out of a sterilizing machine. On top of all of that, the price was INSANELY good for NYC. I’ve had a hard time finding a nail shop that matches the prices I used to pay back home in Virginia, and also actually do a good job. In the 10 years I’ve been getting my nails done and the countless of salons I’ve been to in multiple states, this is the best my nails have ever looked.

Brooke Le Mense Love this salon!! It’s so convenient, as it’s right down the road from me, but also all the workers are so very nice! They do great work and take their time tk ensure you have a great experience. They also engage in conversation with you, which I personally love because I’m a talker hahah, they also always fit you in when it works for you. I always come as a walk in and they seat me right away. Prices are very very good for the work they do, truly couldn’t recommend a better nail salon!!

alexandra jemide Got acrylics with pink French tips, had to go back a few hours after because i noticed some of the nails were different regarding the shape and the thickness of the paint. The lady argued a little but overall the nails just didn’t look good, very poorly shaped She didn’t cut my Cuticles either before starting, Please see a photo a week after. One nail has already come off.

Maïwenn I usually don’t write reviews but I have to. This is what my French gel manicure looks like 3 weeks after getting them done. Perfect French shape in my opinion, and you can barely tell it’s been 3 weeks. I’m actually going to push one more week before getting them removed because they don’t get stuck in my hair or anything. This is the best salon I’ve been to in the city. Prices are very cheap compared to similar quality of service in the city. Staff is super friendly, it’s super clean, they do an amazing job. I booked 2 hours before showing up, the manicure was done in 40min. There is a loyalty program that I definitely joined since this has become my new nail place 10000%. Highly highly recommend

Arlene My regular nail salon was booked up and luckily this place took a squeeze in. However for the price I dont think Ill be coming back again. I had a soak off for 6 fingers and did a soft gel short/medium length w regular french tip and that came out to be 146, not including tip. That honestly feels like a ridiculous price but the service was genuinely good. My manicurist was Coco and she finished everything in 2 hours.

Chioma Armstrong Technically I’m giving them a 4.5 rating, but google doesn’t allow half stars. I had a woman named “Emma” and she was very meticulous with her craft, which I appreciated. She seemed to take pride and care in what she was doing and checked regularly with me if I liked how it looked. She was gentle with my hands and didn’t rush the process. It felt relaxing. The space was clean and quiet and well lit. They seem to offer a lot of other services, such as waxing and massage, but I can’t speak to those. Personally, I think a nail salon should just stick to nails but that’s only my opinion. The reason for my half star deduction is because when I told the technician I wanted a French manicure, it wasn’t made clear to me that they automatically make it a gel manicure. In my experience when at a nail salon, they ask if I’d like it to be gel or at least specify “this is gel” or something. I’d never done gel before so I had no idea what the process was like. Also, this was my first time going there, so it was a shock to me when the price came as I was expecting a regular manicure and had budgeted for something much cheaper.

I loved the experience more than words can ever express. It was a warm welcome that started with an easy conversation with Shannon until Dior came in and did my nails he is a perfectionist in the art, extremely patient, funny and kind. He slayed my nails in a way I never experienced! I loved the entire process so much and will definitely be back ❤️

Kristiana Gomes the nail stylist cut me in 3 different places. she rushed on me because the salon was busy and ended up making some sides of the nail uneven. I have never been cut like this before and she tried to blame it on my “small” fingers. when I never get cut like this anywhere else. they hurt.

Rebecca JL this has been my go to pedicure spot for years. on a few rare occasions ive a bad experience with a not great tech, but in general they do an excellent job for a very reasonable price. when my feet are jacked up (and my feet can get extremely jacked up) they get them back to an acceptable state. when my feet are already decent, they make them look incredible. i went today with jacked up feet and by the time i left they were in acceptable shape for my upcoming beach vacation. my nail tech also gave me a really nice xmas/new years gift of a big tube of korean hand and body lotion, in my favorite scent- cucumber.

Arya Phatak This was my second time coming here and I always had a pleasant experience. This time Tina did my gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. She was very efficient and sweet. Loved the relaxing massage on my legs and arms although I wish it would have lasted longer. The prices are very reasonable. Will surely be back again. Edit- taking off a star for the service I got today. Lisa was the technician, very unprofessional, talking in Chinese with her colleague about me. Very hurried and gave me a bloody finger. I waited for 40 mins for a service done halfheartedly. Teach some etiquettes to your employees.

Bri Bells By far the worst nail salon Ive ever been to! I dont ever go to this nail so but I was short on time and decided to give them a try. Nail technicians are very rude and the prices are way too high and so not worth it. $21.00 for a regular pedicure. If you are around the neighborhood do not go to this nail salon. Go to Hands and feet love nail spa on Kings Hwy instead. Prices are affordable and actually WORTH the money. If I could ask for my money back I most definitely would have! Horrible!

Zulayho Moshiyeva Pedicure and manicure very badly done. Looks like someone can go surfing with all these waves on my fingers. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square but instead all of them are different lengths and shape. The manager didnt care that the girl did a bad job and made me pay before the work was even done. Then they fought over the tip. First of all you dont give a tip before the job is done and a tip is whatever the customer feels is deserved. I left $5 which was more than generous for the bad service and rude staff, but they still argued it wasnt enough. Never coming here again and telling everyone I know its a bad place.

Anna I had a very specific design I got off Instagram that I wanted done on my nails but I did not want to travel an hour into the city to get it done. I went to one other salon before landing on Angelinas. The other salon said they could not do the design, but Angelina said they could for a $15 dollar additional charge (which was in line with what I would have been charged had I gone into the city). We picked out the color and the nail tech matched the design the best she could. All in all it was great service and I was very happy with the end result. The salon is also very quiet, clean, and Covid friendly, even as we are loosening restrictions it is nice to see how well they have adapted 10/10 would recommend!

Yakub Shimunov Horrible job and rude people. They made me pay before finishing and didnt even listen to what I was saying about the job the girl was doing. Both manicure and pedicure were very sloppy and the girl cut my finger after I warned her my skin is sensitive. The finished polish is supposed to be smooth but its wavy and horribly done. Not worth the $75, could have done the same job at home with cheap CVS nail polish.

Veronika Ivanova Tatiana provides the best Russian manicures that last for over 4 weeks with no chips! Can’t say it enough that it’s worth it to go here. Every time I make a different design but this one in particular has been my favorite. Her passion in her work doesn’t go unnoticed and she always has a great energy when providing the manicure service.

Victoria St. Clair I like that upon walking in, you dont have to take a while to begin services. I went on a Thursday at 7 pm and it wasnt really busy so that was good. I had a polish change on my toes and a full set of acrylic nails. They were quick, but it didnt feel rushed. The area is clean, and the decor is nice. Even the bathroom is nice. What I didnt like is at both people I went to (toes and fingers), they continued to suggest I get services I did not want. I wanted something simple and I didnt like the pushy behavior there. The toes were not neatly done but the fingers were better. They asked me to add on more and then told me the new cost near the end of the service. Thats not even the worst part. The person who did my nails continued to jab her fingers and nails into my nails to separate my skin from my nails to get a good angle to file. She did it so deeply it cut into my skin (photo attached). Its 3 days later and it still has a full pain. That emphasis on filing the edges of my nail wasnt even worth it because the sides of my nails are missing color. Its overpriced for services that arent worth it.

Amanda Wang I get my feet done here. I love their nail polish. They got nice colors, and they last long. Shape is nice too. Calm nail salon, very relaxing.

sara smith Damaged my real nail filing to low. My nail bed is now in pain and sensitive. I had to stop her and didn’t even get the new set I came in for because it hurt to bad and just had her stop. My nails have been in great condition before this I only get gel and usually I get it soaked off. They still charged me for take off with no discount and they didn’t even take off all of the gel. Second time here receiving poor service, I should’ve known better.

Or even make it better than the picture that was brought it. The prices are extremely reasonable. The first pic is the reference pic. You can see for yourself how well they did.

Yu Li Ya Updated Review: Unfortunately, after many years of being a loyal customer and recommending this place, I can no longer in good consciousness give it a 5 star review, as the place has changed in their approach to cleanliness and customer service. When I first discovered this salon, I was impressed with how much attention was paid to hygiene. Before using tools, the nail techs would wipe them with alcohol pads to make sure theyre thoroughly disinfected. Unfortunately, this practice has since been abandoned, and the tools simply get placed in the sterilization machine, but given the number of customers, I dont think that proper amount of time passes for the sterilization to take place. In addition, the tools are stocked up on top of one another instead of being laid flat. The last time I received a pedicure, my nail got infected with fungus, which is proving very difficult to treat. The nail techs also used to be very consistent in their quality of service. Now, some seem to be more qualified and knowledgeable than others. The nail techs also stopped paying much attention to the customer service and often fail to ask if you want a massage setting to be turned on on your pedicure chair - its a small thing, but very telling of the declining customer satisfaction care. Also, the products seemed to be more high-end before, while now they seem to go for cheaper versions. The nail polishes are diluted with acetone, which leads to yellowing of the nails and them turning dry and brittle. The prices are still very reasonable and the owner - Rita - is lovely and friendly. I just wish they went back to their original quality of care. Its not the worst place as far as Asian salons go, but unfortunately, it is no longer the best. Original Review: The place does not offer much in terms of nail enhancements or designs, so if you are looking for nail art, I wouldnt recommend this salon. However, if you are looking for the best natural nail care, such as manicure and pedicure, this place is amazing and very clean! Their pedicure is by far the best Ive gotten in Brooklyn! I strongly recommend their special SPA pedicures, as they include skin treatments and a 10-minute massage. My personal favorite is the crystal gel pedicure. Rita, the owner, is very attentive and helpful and always remembers her customers preferences.
