Saturday STEAM The salon is nice, clean, and airy. They do need to work on their customer service. I’ve had nail workers who were kind and helpful and others who had a bad attitude and couldnt be bothered to do a careful job. A worker with a name starting with “L” thought it would be okay to talk trash about me in Korean to the lady at the front counter. What she didn’t know is I understand Korean and can speak it at a basic level. Work on being kinder to your customers!

Jade Nirvana First time here today, staff was super skilled and friendly. Manager is awesome I think her name is Kelly and Jenny did an amazing gel french mani and french pedi I like it thick and she accommodated.. they do a number of services massage eyelashes eyebrow tinting facials and prices are very fair. Inside is very big, clean, neat and soothing. Will def be going back. "-)

Kaitlin Gould Got an SNS manicure (powder dip, which is supposed to last two weeks) and it lasted for about 2 days before it started to chip. I went back to have the first chipped nail fixed, and waited about a half hour to be taken care of. Its been 3 days since I went back and 4 more nails are chipped significantly... to the point where the entire manicure needs to be redone. Also, when I left the salon the first time, you would think that a child painted my nails. The powder was everywhere (see pics). They started trying to pick it off with one of the tools, but I asked that they stop because they were literally pulling my skin off and it hurt. The first time I ever went, I was charged for a massage that I did not ask for. This place is the worst.

Maria Catacchio Went here for the first time and loved it. I will def be going back. Dana did my pedicure and she was so attentive. Kelly did my nails and she did such a good job! It’s clean and looks very organized.

karen jin Honestly love this place. Ever since the change of owner it’s been just perfect and amazing. Kelly, the new owner, really outdid herself. She brought in over hundreds of colors. She really takes her time to make each set perfect. I’ve tried multiple nail salons around this neighborhood and nothing compares to her work. The pedicures are excellent. They use disposable items for each pedicure and cleans up after each costumer. The store is overall so calm and clean. The prices are reasonable and you won’t receive this type or service anywhere else without paying ridiculously high prices. And to top it all off, they can do any trendy nails you see on tiktok ( the cherry on top for me personally). And the sets last a long time. For me personally any tips or gel fall off after the third day but here they last for weeks. Finally a shop where the nails last enough for me to get a fill.

Astra Austin I made an appointment for 3pm on Sat 2/3/24 based on the reviews. What stood out to me was the alleged "kindness" of the staffers as well as pics of nice nails. Heres what I experienced instead: Sam asked me to leave and return b/c I came early. There were at least 3 empty chairs in the salon. I questioned why I needed to leave and he then said I could sit in one of the empty chairs. I noticed how quiet the salon was, which is great. But "quietness" should not be to the detriment of good hospitality. Kim (who did the "gold" pedicure) was phenomenal (a great balance of professionalism and friendliness). Nancy (who removed my nail gel and filed my nails) was also great and engaging. But- Sam just picked up my hand without talking and started applying polish. When I talked to him, he actually referred to a poster on his wall that says he likes quiet in the salon and he cannot talk in order to focus. Again... I understand and appreciate quiet... AND I know the importance of focus. But- he couldnt answer basic questions (and I am a first-time patron)? His behavior was strange and lacked common sense. I also noticed that he initiated conversation with other customers. When it was time to pay, he tried to rudely rush me as I signed the credit card receipt. After I signed it, he walked away without a "thank you" or "goodbye." Kim and Nancy- on the other hand- waved goodbye and thanked me for coming. Heres the deal-- I was not looking for a flowery exchange full of emotions. I just expected to be treated the same as the other customers: with decency. I never felt comfortable due to Sams behavior. All customers should be treated the same. Its that simple. 3 stars: 2 for Kim (who spent the most time with me) and 1 for Nancy (who spent less time with me as understandably helping other customers). I hope my tip (that Sam said he would divide between the staffers) will be divided between Kim and Nancy only as they provided good service. Sam did not. He was rude and the polish on my left thumb (applied by Sam) already started chipping.

Carol Jacobson Great gel mani and pedi. Made an appointment and they took me 40 minutes late which was annoying, but Samuel did a great job on my nails and toes. Clean and nice.

Milagros Valle Its not my intention to discredit anyone but 4.7 for this place is not true. They share nail files, the instruments are also shared and not cleaned properly. They do things quickly to fast for important cleanliness measures to take place. Something need to be said.

Theresa Lambert I encourage everyone to go to Sams Golden Nails. My daughter and her friends started her sweet 16 celebration here by getting manicures. Excellent experience. All the ladies/gentlemen staff were very nice and excellent at what they do. Sam the owner runs the place so well, paying attention to detail so that each person is treated well while hes doing a customers nails as well. Customer experience was tops. The girls were all given little gift bags too which made them feel even more special. Thank you Sam and your staff for a great start to their party!

Karoon Walljee I visited this salon spa as I was in the area for an appointment. I Googled to see what spa places are around. The previous reviews from customers made my choice very easy. Apond arriving I was greeted by staff. I inquired about my needs for sevice. I was explained choices & prices.. I did the lemon spa and got a gel mani and pedi. The lemon spa is a must try. Its very relaxing and worth the price. The leg massage at the end is bomb... Lets talk nail /feet tech staff. Wow, super friendly and very intensive to customers needs. Dont laugh, but I just couldnt get one of my big toes to stay down while under that uv light. However, as youll see in picture staff, all were hands-on to ensure I didnt mess the gel polish. Mind you, I was the last customer, and still, I was giving time and patience-notrushed or limited to my service. The salon itself is very beautiful and kept clean. I love the set up- I will be coming back for my next service. Even though its 40min drive... they have a new member. MsKay

Jasmine Muqbel Excellent new nail salon that is clean and well managed. I am so thankful for Esperanza who gives a thorough pedicure with deep cleaning. Regular pedicure $28 + callous remover $12 for an hour long service is well worth it. A very reasonable price for the area and quality. Much cleaner than other salons in the area.

Lina Bedoya I had such a great experience today. I did the lemon spa pedicure, and my feet feel like brand new. I also got a really nice manicure with a design and it’s exactly what I requested. Magaly is great, she’s patient and detailed oriented, I loved that she took her time. She did a fabulous job. I would truly recommend this place to anyone that’s looking to get a really thorough mani/pedi.

Jae Jasmin Please be careful going here. Ive been going for a while and have gotten 2 injuries from this place the first time should have been my warning but I went back and this time I had to have a surgical procedure done by a podiatrist to fix what they did. Also theyre not clean. My toes were bleeding alot and she just used a rag wipe my blood off the tools she was using which are not fresh tools. My first injury here they gave me a new guy who scrubbed my feet until the skin was raw and I couldnt walk the next day. My friend told me to go tell them and they gave me an 80 dollar gift card since they cant do refunds and told me to ask for a girl next time because I have "baby feet" and thats why I got hurt. The second time I went back I got a girl and it was actually better so I trusted them again. Big mistake. I got a different woman and she was cutting my nails and started cutting deep into the sides. my toes were painted white and she kept having to wipe off the blood. Becuase of her I grew infected ingrown nails and had to see a podiatrist who had to preform a painful procedure for this.

Michelle Alyssa I got an acrylic gel manicure done here last… one of the nails had chipped off so I went in at 730 (they close at 8) to ask them to fix it. They said “no we are closed,” I explained it was only the one nail and I had been there last week. They insisted that they were closed (even though they were open for another half an hour) and would not fix my nail. I wasn’t happy with the manicure to begin with, will not be returning.

Carmencita Yanir Victorias Nails Spa in Garden City is my favorite place to go for my pedicure. I ALWAYS go to Kim, she is the absolute best. She always takes her time with it and leaves me with the prettiest french gel pedicure ever. I cant ever cheat on her, shes the best!! The place is very clean and everyone is so friendly. Ive been coming here since I was 15, i am now 22!

Lilly Motz This is by far the best nail salon I have been to. I moved to Williston Park a few years ago from Roslyn and have been going here since. I never liked getting my nails done as much as I did till I came here. The service is great, all the ladies are great. Kelly always hooks me up with fabulous looking nails. The other lady, I believe the owner, she’s amazing too and always gives me designs when I ask for them. The atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly.

Bunny Veronica is the best tech I can truthfully say I’ve ever had. I don’t feel uncomfortable saying I don’t like something. She gives great advice. She pays attention to even the smallest detail… her application skills are top tier. I’m very self conscious about my nail bed because they’re kind of wide so I got tired of doing my nails and liking but not loving them considering the money I was spending… gone are the days of $25 full set right? lol anyway, Veronica fixed that and I love love love my nails!!! Im an og client and will forever be a client as long as she’s doing nails!

Bride Soon Very bad service. Rani does not know what she is doing and keeps talking about having years of service. The lady does not even have proper equipments to use and uses broken brushes and unwashed blenders. The person ruined our event spirit. Horrible experience. Never again!

I was commuting far for good quality mani/pedis (I take my nails seriously) and now I have found a superior experience close to home! It’s hard to get an appointment with her but once you do you will understand why. My nails have never looked better. Not just esthetically but they are really healthy. Farah is also really cool and fun to talk to. Can’t say enough amazing things about this 5 star experience!

Chloe A A previous manicure left my nails feeling brittle and weak, and my cuticles torn, so I decided to visit Farah at the Nailvault. It was so nice to see her passion for the art of nails and proper nail health/cleanliness. We ended up doing cat eye magnetic gel (which I haven’t been able to find at any nearby salons!) with a glitter layer on top. It came out so beautifully and it was truly the most luxury nail experience I’ve ever had. Hoping to come back soon for Onyfix nail correction for a curved toenail! Farah sent me the below pictures of my nails, and also photographed every step of the way so I can see how far my nail health has come over time. Linnette Veloso They are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable! I’ve gotten my eyebrows threaded with them before and always been happy with the results. I did a Brazilian wax most recently and was relieved to find out that they work very quickly. I had Geeta (I hope I’m spelling correctly) and she was super fast and gave me the most pain free wax I’ve gotten. Very clean too. Did legs as well and I’m happy with results. She was very thorough.

Gina Reese Gita is excellent at what she does. I stumbled upon this salon looking for somewhere new to have my eyebrows threaded. I was very happy with the results. She had been suggesting a facial, which I knew I needed. I was reluctant because I have rosacea but a few visits I decided to give it a try. She tailored her facial to my skin type and I had excellent results. Highly recommend!

Went for Brazilian wax only because they do not double dip unlike other salons . I really liked it. Then i also tries eyebrow threading which came out nice. The salon is clean and beautiful. I had hard gel on from a previous salon, and Leo was so patient in removing the gel and filing my nails & trimming my cuticles to perfection! I requested a regular manicure and I am loving it (see pics attached). I will definitely be back :). The price is right and 10/10 service + experience.

Olivia I usually get my pedicures in Flushing, but decided to try out Sunny Nail Salon in Carle place on a Monday afternoon. when I walked in, there were about six other customers. the salon is incredibly spacious with at least eight pedicure massage chairs and manicure tables. About 5 technicians working. I had a lemon spa pedicure with Lina and she was very thorough and detailed. she went to work on my feet, scrubbing away and strongly massaging my shins and feet. The massage chairs are new and were relaxing. I’ll return again for my pedicures.

Alexa This is usually my go to salon but this visit was disappointing. I decided to get chrome and it was not impressive. Expensive & time consuming, which I was fully aware of but what I was not prepared for was for it to chip the very next day and have air bubbles and just not look nice for what I paid for them and for the time I sat there. Very disappointed and now rethinking my next visit.

G They were super nice and accommodated me quickly for a walk in. I got my acrylic soaked off and a pedicure. I only got this manicure yesterday and my nails are broken and chipped. I paid $46 for everything and I’m just disappointed. Also, during a pedicure they normally rub your feet and all I got was like literally a fist bump to my foot so idk the experience wasn’t all that great and not worth the money I spent.

As a small business, N&V Nail Spa truly stands out in terms of quality, service, and atmosphere. Ambiance: Whenever I walk in, I am greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The salon is clean, and exudes a sense of tranquility that made me feel relaxed and pampered. Service: The staff here are incredibly professional and friendly. They took the time to listen to my preferences and provided excellent recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine care they showed made me feel valued as a customer. Quality: The nail technicians are highly skilled and use top-of-the-line products. I always get sns powder for my nails and a gel pedicure (I believe it’s the lavender package.) The range of colors and designs available are impressive, ensuring theres something for everyone. I always bring reference pics and am always happy with the results. They always exceed my expectations. I highly recommend David if you get sns, or gel X, or acrylic. Their pedicure packages are also great, and David’s right hand (she’s the woman who is always there with him, forgive me I’ve forgotten her name!) gives excellent massages when getting pedicures! Hygiene: Hygiene is clearly a top priority. All tools were thoroughly sanitized, and the overall cleanliness of the salon was fabulous, which gave me great peace of mind. Value: For the level of service and quality provided, the prices are very reasonable. It’s evident that David and his staff value their customers and strive to offer the best possible experience without breaking the bank. There are promos often offered! Point blank, this place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood and I’m glad they are located across from my business! The convenience alone has been a life saver. I love supporting small local businesses, especially businesses who are great at what they do. Whether youre looking for a simple manicure, an intricate nail design, or just a relaxing escape, this salon delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend David to anyone in search of a great place to get their nails done.

Thalia T My gel extensions have lasted 2, almost 3, weeks and they still look great. I can be very picky and the wonderful nail tech who did my nails was very patient with me. This is the best design I’ve ever had and am definitely going back. Keep in mind photos are 2-3 weeks later.

Maggie I google searched “nail salon nearby” and found this. Upon seeing most good reviews, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The technician David was very knowledgeable and patient about all the concerns I had and made me worry free. He said he has been doing this for 20 years which I can tell too. He did my nail very carefully and explained all the questions I had, very experienced, dedicated and the price is very fair too!! I love my new nail set and will definitely come back again!!

Megan Bell So i never leave reviews, but I would be doing my experience a disservice if i didn’t. This nail salon is a GEM. Hands down the best salon I’ve been to, i get my nails done religiously and i have tried well over 10 salons from garden city to Oceanside trying to find a salon that’s sanitary and not a rip off. This is it. David so fast, but he cared about his work, and the pricing is amazing. I actually almost teared up at the end because i was so relieved to finally find a salon this good.

gina finamore They are the best!! Acrylics, dip mani, pedicures are always amazing. They do a perfect job every time. Everyone is so friendly and the salon is always clean. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

Anne La Horrible place. Only the guy speaks English. Only two licenses displayed. Too much money. Only the older women does designs. Two younger women do gel. All of the other 5-7 people do regular manicure with bumps or bubbles and dont speak English. So you come in with long nails and leave with short nails, you want square, they do oval, you want oval, they do round. They take care of you too quickly and dont even give you a nice hand massage or shoulder rub anymore.

Danielle lutz I won’t go to any other nail salon. The staff are all so wonderful, friendly and they do a beautiful job on nails. It is always very clean and always decorated so pretty. I typically see Yuki for a UV fill in but I have gone to other nail technicians such as Ashley, cici, Helen, Lina. All the workers there are great. I get back massages, lash extensions and pedicures as well!

yushan Mu Ive been here a few times since the start of the year and each time Ive been very pleased with the service. I go to yuki every time, she is fantastic girl and she does an amazing job! They are very busy and may have to wait but its all worth it!

Jeanlyn States Very poor experience. Vivi acts like your not there and takes other customers before helping those with an appointment. The quickest pedicure ever. No massage. No customer service skills. It seems the owner has a difficult time communicating with her customers and she is uncaring and rude. She can only see dollar signs with everyone who comes through her door. She doesn’t care if she has the ability to provide quality services in a reasonable amount of time or not.

MASSIEL VARGAS Love love love love this place. Making an apt is the best route to go. Both vivi and Jessica are great. I used to get reg mani went to gel and now get SNS. Absolutely love the service, they really do care for your nails.

Melle Love Vivi and her amazing talent! I usually get a regular mani and they last for weeks with no chipping at all. I’ve also done SNS powder with Vivi and I’ve never seen my nails so perfectly done! I know she really does care about my nails and their health. My nails always come out looking clean and beautiful. Making an appointment is the best way to go.

Catherine Hoey never coming back. i came here for years with my mom because the nails usually come out nice but its overpriced and the way vivi acts when something happens to your nails is ridiculous. everyone makes mistakes and when my nails looked awful i understood i just wanted her to fix them and she refused. never coming back honestly this place is only worth it for Jess because of the pedicures

Lucky Charm Ive been coming here for over 1 year. Sometimes I call with last minute appointment and Im siesta for in within my schedule. The staff are always professional and accommodating. Gel pedicure and dry drill manicure are simply amazing... You cant go wrong here...

Sofia This place is a joke too many red flags ! I called at 1:55 pm on a Saturday to ask if they would honor a Groupon on a weekend and she told me I could come in and asked for my name.. cool, I told her I’d be there in 15 mins, when I get there they were acting confused like I didn’t just call. When u get into this empty salon, which I know understand why, they ask if they can take a lunch break, but they knew I was coming and could have told me to come later so that really blew me. So they put me in the chair and tell me it’s going to be and extra $20 to take off my gel and put new gel again and I’ve never had to pay for the removal.. After having my toes soak to the point that water turned cold she starts filing and cutting my toes THEN goes to cut and file the girl next to me toes because the person working on her didn’t know how to do it.. I’m completely mind blown and have never experienced this. So I’m waiting again, water turns cold yet another time.. she then goes and switches with now the second “manicurist” because she also doesn’t know how to cut and file. So now I’m stuck with a completely different person and the third client gets to go with the only competent manicurist, crazy! I am fortunate to know Spanish so I was able to communicate with them but I feel terrible for people who may not understand. On top of that there was a damn fly I was swatting during my entire pedicure. I hoped for a relaxing nail experience and it was unfortunate that JV Style Spa & Nails did not deliver that.

fanta Service is super bad they are very slow i say here for 4 hours and what i wanted was nothing special. They dont focus on one client EVEN THO there was only 2 other clients besides me and 3 workers. Very slow and didnt even start painting my nails for a whole hour after i asked because all of them were focusing on another client. AND tried to make me pay $300. Horrible place do NOT come here if you wanna save your time and money

J S Very nice people BUT complete WASTE of money. Did my nails Saturday morning and by Sunday evening the acrylic nails came off. It didn’t even hurt when they popped off. Lasted ONE day ! I noticed the products they used were different than they used before. Pedicure is trash too I have polish on my skin and it looks like a toddler did it. A waste of $85.

A. Mendis Visited on a Wednesday night, an hour before closing. I had a Groupon deal. The service was rushed, staff stoic. Won’t return, my cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding during both my mani and pedi. The gel mani chipped after 6 days too.
