S S Sloppy, rude, painful. Male technician glued extensions to my skin and left clumps of gel under my nails. While applying the extensions he kept bumping the underside of the long, freshly glued ones. He didn’t understand when I tried to explain he was hurting me. Instead, I asked him to cut them short enough to be out of his way while he worked. He mocked me and seemed to suggest I’d never had tips before and didn’t understand the process. The technician didn’t file the sides of the tips all the way to the base which left a sharp, weird-looking shape. When I checked out I tried to show the manager the clumps of gel under my nails and he told me it would wash off. I appreciate that the manager seems to read and respond to negative reviews, but I do not want to have to come back to the spa to have my nails fixed. I live 45 minutes away. I wish he’d listened to me when I was there.

Dria Hector I rate it 1 star solely for the atmosphere, Because the technician had no clue how to help me accomplish my natural nail goal. My NATURAL nails were long and she cut them too short, proceeded to do a cat eye without a magnet which isn’t how it works. Redid nail color and put it on too thick and my nails are different lengths it somehow it ended up on my skin of my foot from the pedi she gave me. It’s the worst experience I’ve had yet.

Emelia Ianni Half of the staff here doesn’t know what they are doing. They are so careless and only care about making a quick buck. I got a UV gel overlay with ombré and the girl didn’t even put the gel on all of my nail. The ombré is careless and lazy. Hannah was kind enough to fix my nails to my liking and made them look presentable. If you go here only book with her. Will not be back

K R I’m still trying to figure out how I paid $150 to have my nails done and a pedicure. And why a Deluxe pedicure cost $74 dollars. I will not be back and I was distracted when he did. Manager is crooked hope the owner knows he is a nice man . And I got basic French nails nothing crazy

Michelle Bersani This place is great. Beautiful inside, tons of chairs, everything new, very clean and well cared for. Extremely well ventilated (I’m very sensitive to smell, and often avoid getting my nails done for this reason). Simple online booking and ample parking. They have lots of optional add-ons for pedicure, but the base price is very reasonable. If you want a treat, spring for the hot stone massage!

Prolific Strategies I recently visited apple nails for a nail service, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. During the service, I found the nail technician to be rushed and inattentive. They seemed disinterested in providing quality care and paid little attention to detail. My nails were left uneven and poorly painted, with smudges and streaks evident. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience. I expected better service and professionalism from apple nails.

Patti Hoffman In February I was a first time lash extension girl, and now I’m hooked! Jane at Apple Nails is exceptional. My lashes were always semi long but blonde and hard to see without a lot of mascara. I also hate dealing with lash glue and putting on falsies. I love my lash extensions so much. Ask for Jane, you won’t regret it!

Christina Tartaglia I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and this is the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. Slow. Messy. Painful. Everybody was very rude. When they were filing the gel off my nails with the machine, they went too aggressively and filed past the polish and actually filed my nail. They were using a very sharp tip. It was hurting me when they did it. It was making my nail peel and flake. My nail bed was very bumpy when they were done. Then when they went to put on the polish, they put it on very haphazardly. The polish did not go all the way to the bottom of my nails, and did not go to the sides. It was asymmetric and a streaky. There were blank spots, and the polish line was not smooth or flesh with my skin. When I asked them, if they could try cleaning it up, they told me it would be straightened out on the second coat. Once the second coat was put on the same problem existed. I asked them if they could be more careful in making sure to include the edges, and they told me that they were unable to get the sides of my nails given the shape of my nail bed. I have never been told this before. There is more polish on my skin than where I wanted it. The edges are look very unfinished. It was as if they were brushing everything I told them off. The patron next to me also told them it was hurting her when they were doing her manicure. They told her that they were going to pick the shape of her nail and would not accommodate her requests.

Kodi Marie I have found my pedicure spot. Earlier morning/afternoon wasnt busy. Not a long wait. The man who did my pedicure. Amazing. I work on my feet and am ticklish and he got it done. I will most definitely will be returning.

Laura Henry Ive been a customer of Erins for several years now. I am always impressed at her professionalism, artistry, and genuine caring for her clients. I get hair services (cut and color) and waxing services. I came to Erin specifically looking for bold hair colors, and she is a wizard at this specific skill. She uses the Goldwell Elumen product line, which is extremely high-quality. I am continually satisfied with my experience with Erin. Stephanie, the current owner, always has a smile and a happy greeting for me when Im in the salon as well. I truly enjoy the time I spend here (and due to my hair coloring process, I do spend a lot of time there!!).

I’ve gotten more compliments on this set more than any other nails I’ve ever had! My nails feel strong, none of the jewels have fallen off and I’ve had no polish chip. 10/10 I will return!

madi christiansen Holly Nails was a great place to get my nails done! The staff was so lovely and quick. I went with three friends, and we all finished within a little more than an hour. The salon was empty, and it felt comforting. I also loved the tv shows playing above the manicure; they kept me entertained. My friends did Acrylics, Chrome Nails, and French tips, and I did a Gel manicure and pedicure. Recommend.

I usually come see Angela for hardened gel. The pedicures are also done really well and they take their time which is amazing. I really appreciate that the staff takes the the time to do your nails and ask you along the way if you want another coat/is shape good/size/ &c. They get a little busy so book your appt!

Sydney Trost 24 Save your money!! My nails completely decayed after 2 days and this is powder. The lady doing my nails put on 10 layers of activator coat and clearly didnt know what she was doing. It also took 3 hours to do and the lady burnt my skin with one of her tools. I will not be going back and do not suggest any one reading this does either.

star carter I found this place to get my dip replaced while I was visiting and it was amazing. The whole staff was nice and my nails was done quickly and flawless. I could not be happier. I also got a pedicure, I felt so relaxed after. My toes look great and they include massage and did not rush….next time I am in town and need my nails done I will be coming here.

Janelle Rozzano I never write complaints. I mean it when I say that. I’m just really upset about my recent visit. You know, when you go to get your nails done you’re excited. And if you know the color you want, you want time to look for it. I don’t know about you, but my “nail salon pet peeve” is when I am rushed to pick a color. I had my appointment and came a little early, so I could do just that. Mind you, first appointment of the day, not busy at all. Looking for one minute, and they tell me to take a seat at a specific booth; several times. I told them I would like to pick my color first and that I haven’t looked at all of the books, and I wasnt rude. They told me they are all the same (they aren’t, and they aren’t all labeled). Maybe if they were organized better so people would know that IDK. So, I walk over holding all of my stuff and two of those books, like cmon let me just pick it first no one is in here. Anyway, whatever, I moved on. There was a lot of chatting amongst the staff, idk they may or may not have been complaining, but all I know is that the guy did my nails in a half hour, skipped the cuticle oil, cuticle maintenance, they are crooked, and skipped the lotion. All things they usually do. Then they charged me $45. Which, I swear to G their price for a regular dip were $40, which is already higher than some. Does anyone else remember it being $40? I couldn’t look anywhere they took the prices down, but the lady told me it was always that price. Definitely wasn’t. I walked in with plain nails and had no tips, rushed to pick color, given some attitude, then a half a** job on my nails for $45. I just want people to know “suddenly” $45 for a half hour for a dip manicure that was not even done well in the half hour. I never get out of the house because I have little ones and I was excited (moms you get). It just made me sad. Just not fair or good business practice. I hope you have a better experience.

Rachelle Trudel These are the worst nails I’ve ever had. They’re like clogs on my fingers. I asked for rounded, got rounded almonds. They’re thick at the ends. Never touched my cuticles, didn’t fill the nail to the cuticle and I have gaps on the sides. Not to mention, they’re very crooked. Will never be back.

Starlet Lebrun Went for date night pedicures. Charged more than was told it would be and she just said its ok when I asked her about it. Nails are not straight and one has a weird build up at the cuticle for some reason. And my husband has the same not straight and one is jagged and sharp. Also she didnt like the fact he was getting a glitter polish. Kept telling me they were out of that color. We were having fun and nail polish isnt forever. Also some Americans can in fact understand you. Very rude

Alex Mandarino This place will try and scam you, they did not clean under my nails and did not cut my cuticles, and had me pay for the full service which does include that. I got a full set of acrylics. The guy asked me after he finished my nails if I wanted to get a manicure and for them to cut my cuticles etc for extra. I told him that they do that before the nails are done and that it is normally included in the service. He lied to my face and tried to scam me and said "no a diffrent person do that" implying that he just does the nails but a manicure is extra. I paid $57 dollars. Just trying to be honest since this nail salon is not. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else. Where they will include the manicure and the full set for the price they listed. I asked my friend who goes there regularly and she said that they do the manicure with the full set for $54. Wish I new better! Dont let yourself get scammed like I did.

shakeria thomas Customer service at this salon has gone to hell.. Especially from one of the ones that use to be the best Ms. Ivy. At first I took her slick comments as a language barrier but I realized she is just flat out disrespectful and rude. I had been requesting services from her most of 2024. I always get the same services spa pedicure and nail service. I also think that I tip pretty decent each time. We never talk much but she always looking around and seems annoyed so this particular day I tried to make conversation with her. This is when she let me know she didn’t like that I request her for my service by telling me everyone in the salon does great work and I can go to anyone. This was the last time Ms Ivy did a service for me because I stopped requesting her. I went to the salon to get the same service by a different tech afterwards and it looked horrible. On yesterday I went to the salon to get a pedicure. The manager gave me a tech i wasn’t familiar with and i requested a spa pedicure . The treatment is my usual and I’m very familiar with the process. I felt like she was not doing my pedicure the way it was supposed to be done. I saw Ivy and asked if she can help her and just hunched her shoulders at me waved her hand like l don’t care and walked to the back. Ivy really hurt my feelings, I am not sure why she treated me this way. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager never came. My nail tech ended up doing my pedicure right but my paint job looks horrible. I pray that that the women in this salon find peace in all that they are going through. I was a faithful client and I tip well even when the services were not all that great. You guys should be a little more appreciative and grateful to the community that gives you business.

Their work is polished, meticulous, and so beautiful. In addition, they are friendly, courteous and professional. I always look forward to my appointments and always walk out happy!

Ebonie S Today is the official grand opening of the Venus Nail Lounge. I just stopped by on a whim. I very rarely get my nails done, but I had a minor chip I wanted to repair and protect. I didnt have a preference, so the the technician recommended the best option and even helped pick out a beautiful Spring color! I have healthy natural nails. Danny was very gentle and didnt over trim or over file my natural nails. We opted for dip powder in a beautiful pink. I dont get my nails done very often, but I will be referring and gifting visits! Great customer service, knowledgeable, and quick service that doesnt compromise the quality. Congratulations again on your opening. Ebonie

Annette Rise Amazing place. Yes. Yes. Yes. Second time here and Ryan’s team did a great job, again. Pleasant, patient, willing to go an extra mile, friendly, and courteous. Along with quality service to my high standard, goes their amazing demeanor. And to top it all off, on the wall there is a sign that says “Above all else, love each other unconditionally” - that sums it up for the kind of atmosphere they have at Ryan’s Nails. Tatyana Harrison I visited Ryan’s nail salon from out of town and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is great and they have a wonderful selection of nail polish colors. The pedicure treatment I received was amazing, and the neck massage was a wonderful bonus. The staff truly cares about their customers and does an excellent job. I will definitely be coming back!

Ana Shqair I went about a month or 2 ago for a whit gel pedicure and I had previous gel on my feet. They put me with an older woman, not sure if it was her first day or if she was new or what was going on. It took her forever. to take off the old gel. Over an hour for just removal of the old color which was crazy to me, no problem. When it came to her doing my pedicure. The white “gel” was a sloppy mess it was all over my cuticles,she did over 7 coats of white polish, it looked like regular polish at the end & it was just a sloppy mess I was so disappointed and they took $5 off. I went back to get my feet done again the next day so I double paid for the ugliest service I have ever had in my life and went to BV nails and spa to fix the ugly mess. Yes it’s more expensive. But the reviews here are deceiving. If you get the older woman. You’re screwed.

Amandaa I really enjoyed my visit here . I was able to walk in, but normally, they recommend making an appointment. Sunny took her time and made sure I liked how my nails looked . I was really impressed with how good my nails came out, but within 2 nails, one nail broke. Within 4 days, two more broke, which has never been an issue for me when getting acrylics. I was hoping theyd last a little longer given I paid $50 plus a tip . Im happy with the service but not very happy with how long the nails lasted

Tammy is very professional and amazing at what she does, her new nail tech Linda has been doing my nails my last couple visits and she’s fantastic! Negar shakiba This was the worst salon Ive ever gone to. Not only they dont know any even basic designs like french but also their work is really messy, ugly and all messed up. I said I am not satisfied with my nails and they said if we want to fix it we will charge you twice. Coloring is the last step and because I paid before then I couldnt get my money back and I am really disappointed for loosing $30. These are my nails right after salon. They even cannot make the sizes equal. So mad at myself for choosing this salon.

A. McCullough It is illegal to demand that customers pay for a service before it is provided. This was my first visit, and the Asian woman and man here were not friendly. I was asked what I wanted and given a mask and pointed to a seat. When the woman was ready, she was very curt. She barked out orders to me, telling me to move up more as she pointed to a sign that said that I must pay in advance. Then, she continued to rant that their shop has been there 50 years, which is a lie since I am a native of Syracuse, and everyone has always paid in advance. Then, she put her hands on her hip to let me know that my eyebrows would not be done until I paid! Since I was pressed for time, I paid. She then said thin or medium? I answered medium, and she preceded to wax, tweeze, and cut my eyebrows to her satisfaction. Then, she put her hands on her hips again and said, Im done. Then, she pointed to a full length mirror on the wall and told me that I could look at my eyebrows there. Though she did a good job, I will never go back. Again, its illegal to demand full payment before a service is provided. Had I not been satisfied, there would have been no recourse for me. Plus, the woman was so rude, I wouldnt have felt comfortable asking her to fix anything, as I know the request would have been met with an even worse attitude.

Yolanda Raynor I think they are using fake gel Polish, My nails chipped within 2 to 3 days and this is the second time and when I bought it to the owners attention, he treated me bad and didn’t want Polish my nails over. I don’t wanna go back and tell them about the polish because of the way I was treated the first time.

Jennifer Alexander I called and asked if they could get me In and they said yes. I walked in and was Immediately sat down and they started working on my nails. The guy that did my nails did a very nice job I just had a few things I didnt like. When filing my nails he kept getting the sides of my fingers and it hurt! The other thing is and Its not really their fault is I wish they understood me better when talking to them. I got nail art on my ring fingers. He did the first one and then when doing the second one I noticed it was pointing the same way as the first one. So I explained the problem, he clearly didnt understand because he took it off and put it right back on the same way. He was very fast but I really appreciated that because I hate sitting there forever! Also I took forever to pick a color, I am so indicisive and I never felt rushed like other places. I loved the way my nails came out. After reading other peoples reviews just now though I am horrified to go back!

Zoraida Diaz Horrible. They scraped me with their nail buffer and thought it was funny. My scrape looked infected and they didn’t want to do anything about it. My nail is swollen and I will never go there again. The women does nails quickly which is why I got scraped in the first place.

Kimberlee Roberts I absolutely love this nail salon. Everyone there is so welcoming and kind. They have a cute set-up here and are always able to work with my schedule. I always ask for Anthony here because he does great work and is such a kind person! I started coming here when I first moved to the area and they made me feel right at home and I always look forward to coming in and seeing everyone.

Fati Gomez I have been coming here for almost a year and as of late, the services and the quality of the services have deteriorated. I usually spend between $110 to $140 on just a pedicure, but the last time I went, I was charged for a french gel pedicure with rhinestones $130. I was way overcharged. Also, my big toes were infected with fungus, 2 weeks after the services, I took the gel off my toes and my big toe nails had fungus growth all the way to mid toe nail. I dont walk around anywhere barefoot or use showers that may cause this so I know I got it from here. Either their pedicure tools are not properly disinfected or the acrylic or gel are infected with fungus. I lost half of my toe nail. I posted the pictures. I am so sad and upset since my feet being nice and pedicured is a big thing for me and now who knows how long I will have to wait for my toe nails to grow back. Not only that, but my shoes, im going to have to throw them out because I dont want the fungus lingering around and re infecting my toe nails. This is very disheartening. I will never go back. Most expensive pedicure Ive ever gotten.

Malaysia Thomas I called in asked if they had room for two pedicures and a fill and full set they set up the pedi chairs in had me sitting so long in the water before they even started my pedicure then I sat a half hour to get my nails done when they finally started the lady used a nail to take the mails I had on off omg painful then they cut my hands up in charged me 160 which I have no problem pay but two days later my nails fell off I came back at 11 here it is 5pm in I still haven’t gotten my nails fixed yet I will never come here again on top of all that I had to go to the atm because the card machine didn’t work waist of time go somewhere else

Pretty Browneyes This was my first time visiting this salon and I will not return the technician did a mediocre job my nails also had terrible fungus that the nail tech tried to just cover up and not treat she didn’t take her time all of my nails are shaped differently some are lopsided and I like pointy nails some are rounded at the tip if you’re thinking about visiting this business think again I don’t recommend spending your money there

Aleris Pizarro Lopez They are always willing to work with me. I generally bring about 2-4 nieces and nephews with me to get pedicures and they are always testing them very kindly. I have a foot injury and the Spa pedicure is wonderful.

W M Every one was very nice but the quality of the nails is not the best. First time here for a fill and I was not in loved with my nails they look bumpy and I ask for coffin shape and it does not look anything like it. Im giving 2 stars for the employees friendliness and the places look clean.

Firstly, she didn’t listen to me when I said that I wanted my nails super short because I wasn’t used to nails. She gave me a length that I knew I wouldn’t really be able to handle or function with. When she filed my nails she went so far into my cuticle to the point where I bled. And then she flooded my cuticle over the open wounds with acrylic. Also she left the acrylic looking lumpy and uneven. And then instead of just giving me what I wanted, which was a pretty simple style, she kept making suggestions and kept pushing them. She had charged $100 before she started the nails, so I’m pretty sure she was trying to make up for the price she put for them. If you’re gonna go to Fashion Nails, at least don’t go to Lucy

Jennifer O Zero stars. I would not come back here if it was the last nail salon in the area. I had gel on my nails and needed.It removed and the sanding burned so bad I Said that it hurt and They kept going. I said I wanted Regular nail polish and they Gave me Gel. After I said that she continued With the same nail polish in the container. They did not do a vase coat. They were not going to cut my nails or cuticles unless I asked. They used a cuticle cutter to cut my nails. The polish job is sloppy and uneven. There is polish under and around they didnt clean .My nails are not cut even either. There was a girl getting her service done before me and she looked to me as she was leaving And said that she would never come back. I asked if I could wash my hands after and they said no. This was a terrible experience And I do not recommend anyone ever comes here. I only came here because they were the only place Open due to holiday.

The new owner Sophia is my nail tech- her work is everything but I’ve had work done from all 3. They are all great and professional. I am a loyal customer & very happy with the service I receive..Definitely recommend!

Jennifer Alexander I have just started getting my nails done and I was going to a place my friend would too but I need something closer to my house so I went and tried out fashion nails. Honestly it looks like a hole in the wall, It is so small and not very up-to-date looking but I decided to give it a try because it doesnt matter what it looks like what matters are the people working there! I wanted the dip powder and they had it but they didnt have very many colors to choose from but they did have it. My two middle fingers had broken and she asked me if I want it all my nails the same length and I said yes. I just started getting my nails done and my other salon would have just chopped all my fingers so theyre all the same length but Sophia introduced me to nail extension on my two fingers that broke so I could keep my length, I was very happy for that! When she put my new color on she asked me if I liked it before she went ahead and did the rest. I wanted to try ombre with glitter and after one nail she kept asking me if I liked it and told me to tell the truth because she could quickly get rid of it if I didnt like it, I didnt like it and she got rid of it for me! My only problem and it is something that would keep me from coming back is no matter how hard I tried she kept yelling at me to relax my hands and I was relaxing! She would grab at them and pull them and tell me to relax and it was really bothersome and I really liked the place, so that kind of sucks! I guess people dont like going there because of the old owners but these are new owners and I would definitely recommend giving it a try! Sophia was very nice, very accommodating, she was easy to talk to and she wants to please you and make your nails perfect for you!

Alli Boisey my most favorite set of nails ever! i did the dip powder with tips:) quick, but she didn’t rush. and im obsessed with how beautiful they turned out!

Sarah Christine I absolutely love my nails by Johnny. I get acrylic and they always turn out beautiful. The pedicures are always relaxing and enjoyable as well! I highly recommend sexy nails!
