I went from tons of dead ends and washed out color to multi colored healthy looking hair that I got so many compliments on. From color to cuts to extensions, she truly knows how to make me look and feel my best. I love that she listens to exactly what I want but also gives amazing advice on what we should do with my hair that’s always spot-on. The atmosphere at House of Beauty is incredible, too. susan albarano House of Beauty is a girls girl salon. The vibes are always amazing and uplifting from the second I walk in till when I walk out feeling gorgeous. Jess did an absolutely beautiful job on my hair. I was so indecisive and she had such patience and positive vibes surrounding the whole process. Her bubbly energy is a plus, but her work is the show stopper. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. My hair feels so healthy and shiny.

Serri Hashim I hesitated a lot before writing this review, but today I decided to advise others not to take the risk and go to this scammer. It was a very bad experience. I went with my daughter and asked for caramel highlights for her and a copper color for myself, as well as a haircut for both of us. First, my daughter’s hair—despite showing her a picture of what I wanted—did not turn out like the photo. However, I didn’t say anything and just told her that I liked it and that it looked natural. I didn’t want to comment. As for me, she completely ruined my hair. The dye was much darker than what I had asked for. And for the haircut, I asked for a short layered style, but she completely destroyed it—one side was long and the other was short, making me look crazy. Anyone who sees my hair asks me why it looks so uneven. I don’t know who allowed her to open a salon or work in this field. They are unprofessional and don’t understand anything about hairdressing. After this terrible experience, I ended up paying her $350!

Beans Me and My daughter came for Heart Braids ,I got Some large lemonade braids . Her Braider was very patient with my Crybaby daughter. She made sure she was ready for the parting (she is Tinder headed) . I loved Our braids

Aj Ctb I got a trim and everything was good, the salon is nice and well organized and the trim didn’t take long at all. and she made sure I was good throughout the process and asked me if I’m sure I wanted to cut off that much amount of hair and it was a good price. I definitely will be coming back soon for another trim.

Her shop is nice, clean and very spacious I love my hair every single time she does it I havent been disappointed yet 5 stars are deserved in my opinion I would recommend her to anyone who wants their hair braided 10/10

Lala Miller This is my favorite place to go last minute she’s always available. My hair always comes out the way I ask for a reasonable price. You also have the option to get the hair from her which I always do. Definitely recommend if you’re on Staten Island looking for a place that braids.

I had just moved to Staten Island and I saw a woman with a great hair style coming out of Target- so of coarse I stopped her and asked what salon she went to. Allison Johnson Place is very nicely done! They have an outdoor patio thats so nice to sit outside in between services while you wait! Staff there is very nice! Jenna did a nice updo style for my daughters prom. It was unique, trendy, and age appropriate. Prices are very reasonable!

I had been feeling unsure about the style I was going for, but she offered great suggestions and really took the time to customize the look for my face and hair texture. Megan Klug I went to see Mira for highlights and a cut. It’d been about 8 months since my last color & cut services at a different salon. The haircut and color I had done transformed my hair from its sorry state to looking healthy with a beautiful color. The salon itself is very clean and everyone was so nice. Jenna Baydal Just got my hair done by Daniela yesterday and I must say it was an excellent experience. Daniela is warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and an amazing stylist. Before coming in I sent her pictures of my hair and a picture of the result I was going for. Once in her chair she explained everything she did throughout the process. She was busy and stayed on top of each and every client insuring their hair was perfect. It’s so hard to find a stylist this dedicated. I will be booking again for sure.

Geomyra Veloz Place is clean, great location, easy appointment, great Staff. I made an appointment for color & highlights. First, I went to a consultation with Daniela, asking her please make my hair red. She suggested and explained that red colors are very high maintenance, and since my hair was already damage how it would make it even more damage if that change happened suddenly. She suggested to play with the color that I already had. Until this day I don’t regret listening to her advice. She is very Knowledgeable and caring about her customers. I often get complements about how healthy and shine my hair looks. I recommend this place and especially Daniela. No more words needs to be said. Pictures speak for themselves.

Melodie I got a regular pedicure with gel removal and gel manicure with designs. They’re just now restarting their nail services again. Sabrina is very sweet and took her time perfecting the designs. It was more on the costly side but the effort she put made it worth it.

Anusha Kavarthapu This review is for their nail services, and I have to say, it was a complete waste of time and money. The nail tech was nearly impossible to communicate with, and the entire process felt sloppy and unprofessional. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but the results were awful. As soon as she finished, I noticed air bubbles under the polish and one nail with smudged paint, which had to be redone on the spot. To make matters worse, within a week, the gel started chipping and breaking apart. Absolutely unacceptable for what I paid. Avoid this place if you value quality and your time.

Lynne Roff I am a more mature woman with curly hair. It took me all this time to find out about salons that work exclusively with curly hair. I love Sabrina. She is very kind and takes her time cutting and styling your hair. I highly recommend her.

Destiny DeJesus I was so lucky to find curl transformation salon in such short notice. I was traveling from Texas & needed a haircut badly. I had never had a curly cut before but heard great things about this salon. They were able to fit me in a day after I arrived in NY. My hair is curly with different patterns and I also had some problem areas. Sabrina took great care of me. She walked me through each of her steps explaining what I needed to do for after care. I can’t thank her enough for her knowledge. The salon is beautiful! From the aesthetics to the cleanliness, i felt very comfortable. My curly cut was affordable & well worth it. I would definitely recommend!

Like many other mommies- I was terrified to cut her hair for the first time but the stylist there made me feel so comfortable. Eliana Rangel For years ive been struggling with finding a salon that knows how to do curly hair. Ive gone through bad cuts, bad dyes, and honestly i lost hope. Until i tried curl transformation salon. The first time I went, i walked in and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They got me water, checked me in, and began consulting me on what i wanted for my hair. By the end of the appointment I was so in love with my hair that I knew i had to come back. This is the ONLY hair salon that Ive been to that genuinely cares about their clients hair and wants it to be the healthiest it can be while still looking beautiful. Calais Callino Jen is an amazing stylist! She is very experienced and knowledgeable. My hair didn’t grow for years. She saved my hair with the way she colors and cuts it. Larry Mayer A warm and hospitable salon. Owner Olga is a gem of a stylist and a person. She greets all of her customers with a smile and a concern for their wellbeing. And a cup of coffee or tea. Offers to hang up coats and outerwear. Everyone who works here follows her lead. From a cost perspective I speak as male with min hair requirements. It is managed well with a most reasonable cost incursion. Been going for yrs.

Debra Olsen I went to Salon Sogno for the 1st time in desperate need of a cut and color. I called the day before and was given an appointment with Mallory for the next day. The receptionist was so nice over the phone which definitely made a great impression. Once I walked in I was greeted, checked in and offered coffee, tea or water. Waited for a few minutes to be brought over to the chair and was draped and offered something to drink again. Mallory was so nice. She listened and I felt confident she had the same vision in mind as I did. Everyone was attentive while I waited for my color to process. My color came out great and my cut looks perfect. I will definitely be back to see Mallory again.

I had appointment with Flo for Magic Sleek (defrizz & Straightener).. The professionalism of everyone was so refreshing. One of the owners Jackie come over to see if I needed anything (MS is a timely process) Also Magic Sleek is amazing and Flo did an outstanding job. My hair looks outstanding and i am so happy. I forgot to take a before so I am putting a pic of how it looked last week (8months after first Magic Sleek)

Camille OBrady 5 STARS!!! I’ve trusted Kim of Salon K Hair Spa, to care for my hair over the past 15 years. This woman truly knows and loves her craft! Over these years, I’ve seen her transform countless heads of varying lengths, textures, and styles to healthy, gorgeous (us regulars call it “SLAYED”) hair - EVERY single time! As a relaxed (thick and long) hair client, Kim continuously relaxes my hair and cuts, trims, and colors as I desire. I still don’t understand how my scalp never burns (but she does). Claudia Ive been going to kim for years and hands down shes the best hair stylist on the island ! Being an African American girl its so hard to find a quality hair salon that will treat my hair well, but with Kim I never worry. I always hear people complaining about the prices but you get what you pay for ! She uses great products and takes care of your hair step by step. Also she leaves your hair smelling good when you leave, instead of that burnt hair smell.

Belkis Jacobs Had the most wonderful experience at this family run salon. I was ready for hair club with my thinning hair but got wonderful cut for my natural hair that looks great. Felt like was in a ladies version of local Black Barbershop with wonderful staff & clients. Great experience.

Toni Marie Kaferstein Knight in shining stilettos? Christina is really the best at what she does. I went to Christina as a consultation post-chemo and surgery. The feeling of losing my hair, and then wearing a wig was simply unbearable. I understood ahead of time that I needed a few inches to make the extensions work, so the day the ruler matched up to my necessary length I gave her a call. A few days later I was greeted at the door with a big hug & left with an order of bundles of (exact match) hair. The morning of install, I was the happiest I was in months. Christina was giving me the opportunity to feel and look like myself after everything I had been through. Now the hair - WOW. It speaks for itself. Friends and family I hadnt seen since pre-chemo even questioned me saying "I thought you lost your hair?" and in response mentioning its extensions, Ive left people wide-eyed and speechless. Thank you Christina & Victoria for making an extremely difficult time a very positive experience for me. You both are beautiful inside & out and your work shows your dedication and mastery.

Kayla Grodi Ive been going to Christina for over a year and cannot say enough great things about her and her work! The quality of the hair is amazing, she matches and blends it perfectly with my own..most people cant believe I have extensions in and the hair lasts for over a year. Ive had problems with extensions in the past damaging my hair but her technique doesnt cause any breakage. And she is the sweetest person. I recently moved away but travel in to see her because I dont trust anyone else to do my hair and she is always so accommodating. She takes a lot of pride in her work and it definitely shows! Highly recommended for anyone wanting extensions!

Marie S Christina is absolutely fabulous and incredible at her craft. Youre not going to find anybody who is as passionate as she is about what they do. You are taken care of from the second you make your appointment to the second you leave her studio, and I promise you will leave satisfied and feeling fabulous. I drive an hour and a half to have her install and maintain my extensions because there is nobody in my surrounding area that 1) specializes solely in extenstions & 2) nobody can hold a candle to her work. Her installation is clean, seamless, and the hair is the best quality youll come across. Christina matches your hair perfectly to the extensions (from the texture down to blending the color to create a perfect match). There are people who have no idea I have them in, and the people that know cant tell at all. They are matched perfectly with my hair and if I didnt say something nobody would know otherwise.

Catherine Vargas The place looks great and very upscale but they dont take walk ins even though they have a sign that says "Walk-ins welcome" also no one in the entrance. Took 10 minutes for someone to tell us that they are by appointment only and that everyone was already booked for the week. But maybe one day Ill make an appointment and give the right review. I just dont agree with the sign they should change it to something like due too high demand we only take appointments or blame it on Covid.

Gary Bisogna Went for a haircut at Toscanini Hair Stylist several weeks ago. My hair looked great cut, and now it has grown in and still looks great! Daniella is tops; an expert artist, and an artist at cutting hair as well!!!

Frank Couso My daughter got her haircut here and it turned out great! The hairdresser was extremely nice, she made my 4 year old feel very comfortable while she was cutting her hair. The final product was absolutely stunning, the stylist made her look like a little model
