Michael Ward Words cannot express my appreciation with the care my wife is receiving at the wound clinic. From the receptionist Jody to the nurses, especially Tina and of course Dr Adam the level of care has been extraordinary! Should the need arise I highly recommend you take your loved one to this wonderful center. Should you come in during the covid-19 pandemic, you should expect some difficulty with registration! Dont let that dissuade you persevere and you will not be disappointed!!!

TactiGal Inc. I typically am not one to write reviews although I generally looked to them when doing my own research. So I figured it was important to share my impressions. I must say, this facility has the most caring, patient and compassionate staff I have ever seen and with consistency. They are thorough and readily available to answer questions and help explain benefits. This is especially important for new patients. My spouse is a veteran and seeing how valued he is and how the staff provides for his care makes me incredibly happy. It’s not often enough thar we hear things are being done right or that our veterans are given the medical care they deserve. So to have found a VA clinic that ranks an A+ in my book is a blessing. We haven’t had much experience at other clinics but this one is definitely worthy of some praise and recognition!

Echo Yankee Ive been going to Dr Kushner since I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in 2008. He and his team at Putnam Gastro have literally saved my life. I cant thank them enough.

IF I WERE HEDWIG Carmel, NY location. Very clean place. My mother’s needs were quickly addressed. Very able young doctor and helpful staff. Although I have observation: my mom lives in local senior apartments where very few people use smart phones since they are not very visible and loud enough for old people use. Majority owns flip phones with big buttons. As is the case, I cannot believe they can complete the online registration at your outfit. However much I praised today’s service, I cannot see older people getting treated here unless accompanied by some family member willing to register them online.

Tinamarie Mcnicholas AFC gave me a great experience! They were very compassionate for my children when I was there. The environment was very clean and the staff were friendly! Especially Sara she made my son feel as comfortable as she could with him not feeling well. She definitely put a smile on face. I’m so happy they opened more urgent cares in Carmel. Thank you to AFC team and Sara!!!

Jessica Inglis My daughter woke up with a sore throat and we saw positive reviews of this health center. I have to been many urgent cares with my child and this was the best experience thus far. The ease of the online scheduling, we were seen shortly after our scheduled appointment, no long waiting. The staff were friendly and attentive. We even got our test results in the same appointment all within a half hour. The nurse practitioner was kind, child friendly and had a very nice demeanor. They provided documentation for her school and medication sent promptly to the pharmacy. I would definitely return to this urgent care

Nathalie Del Vecchio - Molina The women at this clinic were a godsend. The universe put them in my path for good reason. My 2 1/2 year old was NOT about going to the doctor, in full terrified meltdown, and these women rallied, supported, comforted, and got the job done. Keeping a tired momma from tears and a little joy from getting even sicker. I was truly touched by my interactions with these women and the genuinely caring manner in which they attended to my son. Please, make sure they know how important they are and what an authentically beautiful impact they had on me. They do good work and deserve to be recognized.

Aiyana DeNoyelles At first I was pretty against additional urgent caress in the area. But this one being where it is, has been super convenient. Dr. White was absolutely amazing. They’re friendly, insightful, and so beyond helpful. The receptionist/nurse was so kind and welcoming. This is probably the cleanest and least drabby/depressing medical facility I’ve ever walked into. I love the accessibility as well! The doors are large and slide to allow ease for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. This will probably be my new go-to urgent care when I can’t get in with my dr. I also saw Dr. Beckwith. She’s very kind and sympathetic, but not the most helpful. She told me a medication that is for the issue I’m having isn’t for that issue which was untrue and was previously prescribed for the same issue.

Jackie Parker Great nurse & fantastic PA. I felt much better after going there, knowing what to do to treat a chest cold and bad cough. (Even though I had to wait a half hour for a timed appointment.) one of the best Urgent Care facilities I’ve visited.

Macy Mazzucca My husband said, "Doctor was friendly and quick with his care, very sufficient and professional." My two year old son was very sick, fever that stayed for 4 days *being dramatic* and slight cough. The Doctor knew it was a viral infection and gave us a quick diagnosis, the medication prescribed worked immediately. My son is his little old self again, We Are very grateful for his (the Doctor and The staff) and their time!

Scharf Doug (Knots In Your Head) Great doctor, She has been there for my needs. Sometimes a long wait for an appointment and thats not good when you are waiting for answers. Dr Brown makes up for it all

Eileen Gunning I went to see Dr Brown. Her assistant gave me an extensive neurology test. When asked to share the results, i was told, they were "lost". i will never recommend her.

Junior A Very helpful front desk and amazing doctor. Went above and beyond with care and helping with administrative work that they did not have to take time out of their schedule to do. Would recommend to anyone to visit this location. Receptionist went the extra mile during her lunch break to assist me as a walk in.

b Tried making an appointment through the phone. The phone receptionist was rude and giving an attitude, very unprofessional behavior. It sounded like someone in their late 30s to mid 40s. This phone receptionist will stray away all the patients from her disgusting attitude.

Sabrina Byrne Dr Guerrera and ER pulmonologist was the rudest doctor. My mother went in with fluid on her lung stage 3 ovarian cancer. She didn’t want to drain it and literally said “your mom is very sick she’s going to die anyway”. After speaking to her oncologist she was ordered to drain the fluid. After that she was rude to us the entire time. She was supposed to follow up with CVS for a prescription she did not. While my mom was there she was supposed to have her second iron infusion that was supposed to a push IV and done in 5 minutes. She cancelled all the oncologist orders and put my mom on a drip for an hour so when we went to infusion center everything was screwed up in the system and instead of being there for 10 minutes it took over an hour for the nurses to correct the orders. Beyond rude. Next she had a port put in and was just semi under and all of the tech and doctor were in there talking about their night about before and gossiping. My mom started to have a panic attack with her mask and they were ignoring her. Finally they saw her and removed mask and she told them how unprofessional they were and when she was finish a nurse came over and went over the top nice because they knew what happened in the OR. Talk about completely unprofessional

Steve Savo Could give zero stars if I could. This is by far, the worst.....and I mean the WORST hospital Ive ever had the misfortune of being in with my mother and father as patients. It is unbelievable how this place still operates, given their piss poor track record and horrific reviews. Both my parents arrived at this hospital because it was the closest to us, and received the worst treatment one could receive. Both my parents were left in pain and ignored in the ER. Multiple times. Staff is clueless and dont do their job. Do yourself and your family the best favor for their health, drive them to NYP in Peekskill. If you prefer to go further, there is Northern Westchester in Mt Kisco and of course Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. I know its not ideal, but ANY other facility is better than this one, especially if you or your family want competent medical care. Northwell Health ended up buying Nuvance which operates this Hospital, so I hope it improves drastically for my familys sake. Until then, STAY AWAY.

JJ Smith I am a 70 year old male with chronic medical issues who went to Putnam ER with my wife after a fall on the ice. After an X-ray I was told I had broken my leg in two places. The PA ( I never saw a doctor) told me they would put a splint on me and send me home with crutches which I could use by hopping on one leg and that I should find a doctor to treat me because I probably needed surgery. I told the PA I had torn my patella on my good leg a few years ago and it wasn’t near 100 percent plus I’m 70 years old weigh 280 lbs so hopping on crutches wasn’t feasible for me. I dont own a wheelchair either. They didn’t even try me out on the crutches to see if they would work for me. They gave me a short demo on how to use them that’s it. I was hoping to get admitted and maybe see a doctor from Somers orthopedic who have an entire wing at Putnam hospital. This hope was quickly dashed as I was transferred to a hospital wheelchair and wheeled out to my vehicle by a grouchy nurse. When I got home I had to slide on the ground to get into my house because the crutches were useless. It has taken me two full weeks to finally get a date for surgery. Things have really changed for the worse in our medical system.

Megan Coryat BUYER BEWARE: Especially if you have health insurance. This company bills improperly, which leads to exorbitant co-pays, then will not return phone calls, or offer any resolution. However, they WILL send you to collections. Very frustrating 6 months since I went to them for a strep test in September 2024

S Z I am hoping that this much needed hospital, revamps itself and strives to be a top hospital again, its a shame it removed maternity dept, and the care from employees from ER to Nurses and Doctors have gotten to where I am reading reviews that are scary, please, if the CEO is reading this, and cares, he should do something to raise this hospitals care, we need this hospital in this county and need to have every dept open and knoeledgeable, responsible, and caring staff in every dept. Valerie Morris If I could ZERO stars I would. The PCP I saw was rude and dismissive and the office had me scheduled (they were understaffed and said they were going to call but NEVER did) and then took 4 other patients in before me when all I needed was repeat bloodwork That would have taken 3 minutes. And the front staff seemed to have no clue as to what was going on. I had to walkout after waiting 35 MF minutes for them to basically say that it’s not their fault. HORRIBLE! Don’t go

D Dr Choudhury is a wonderful doctor with a fabulous bedside manner. The nurses are awesome also. My issue is with calling for an appointment. The call goes to some central receptionist. She will never give you an appointment that day. Urgent care it is when not well, unfortunately.

Star Scheff Wish there was an option for a 0! Stay away from this practice! Dr. Kosicz should retire. Careless Dr. Missed my lymphoma after showing her mysterious black & blue for over a year. Blood test had elevated levels indicative of cancer. However she told me my blood work came back normal. When I questioned her about this, she could only say, "Im sorry, I made a mistake. Be cautious!!

D R Outstanding! The two security guys made me smile as I walked in to an empty waiting room. I was taken into my own private room 5 min later. When a nurse promptly came in to go over my reason for the visit. 5 to 10 min later, a doctor came in and let me explain everything. He ordered thorough testing, blood work, catscan and gave me an estimate of how long it would take to get the results. The radiology department staff were so friendly! They explained everything and got me a warm blanket. The bloodwork and IV were seamless! I dont even have a mark on my arm today. Putnam will def be our go to ER in the future.

nancy tucker My husband had to visit the emergency room in the middle of the night on 8/8/23. I cannot say enough about the care Dr. Kennedy and the nurse on call (Im sorry that I do not remember her name) gave my husband. Dr. Kennedy was thorough in his exam and has a very calming and reassuring bedside manner (and might I add a quick wit!). His nurse made sure my husband understood what the prescribed medicines were for and how to care for his wound after discharge. And might I mention we were lucky enough to have no wait and were in and out in exactly 3 hours! How blessed my husband was to have such wonderful professionals tend to him.

Fintan Powers Each of the personnel was kind, efficient and attentive. Dr. Abjani ( director of ER) was calm and thorough in his interview of my situation as were Dr. Kline (anesthesiologist) and Dr. Smith (knee/hip specialist). Their schedules worked out just right and I was on my way home just 4 hours after dislocating my new hip. A special word about the hospital staff: several staff members (not in ER) went well beyond their normal duties to help me in my crisis.

Nicole Macchia Went to ER for an allergic reaction to an injection I received. Saw Dr. Manchester, who laughed it off and told me it was sunburn. I will not be going back there. He was very condescending and told me “I assure you it is not an allergic reaction to the injection. It is absolutely sunburn”. I have not been exposed to the sun and he still stuck by his diagnosis.

Ateek If negative stars were available this group would get them all. I was a patient here and my doc had an emergency and is on leave. They called to cancel my appointment and when no one called to reschedule I called and asked what is happening? Doc out till at least October. So I asked for a different Endo doc and they have none and dont refer. Way to take care of your patients. I was really shocked that they had no care or concern for patients. No plan in place for emergencies. Stay away. I loved my doc here, but front office and senior management needs some serious work.

Kaitlin Had a pretty strange experience with one of the schedulers at this location. I received a message from this office that I needed to reschedule an appointment with a call back number. The woman who answered told me she could not reschedule my appointment and abruptly hung up on me before I could say anything. The doctors and PA here were fine but this isnt the first time the front desk has been weirdly hostile.

Old Sitoa I have to agree with previous reviewers - the medical staff are lovely and caring, but please, please do something about the front desk. They are so rude in Carmel. I’ve been to the Fishkill office, and the admin staff are wonderful there. So, I would recommend the doctors and medical personnel, but just avoid the Carmel office.

Michael Zachmann Dr merla is wonderful. However I have had repeated issues with the staff. One was they said I had no insurance when I did infact have it but regardless the check in staff wouldnt let me in to the appointment for a follow up after a cardiac procedure. Both CVS and express scripts have had repeated issues getting my prescription authorized leaving me without my medicine at times. Again the doctors are great but the staff keeps dropping the ball.

Sean Nickerson You literally cant get a hold of a single person in the whole practice in any office . Left multiple messages and cant get a call back . I entered every number on the automated system to try and speak to a person multiple times. Even on one branch it said all attents were busy but I would be out in que . I was put in que and the automated system said I was number 1 it rang for a while than went to voicemail. The second time it rang multiple times and than it hung up. My family and I are switching practices

Josh Reyes I am extremely disappointed with the deteriorating quality of care at this hospital over the past few years. During my visit to the ER following a car accident, I was dismayed that I was not examined thoroughly. The doctor questioned me in a public hallway in front of other patients, rather than in a private room. This lack of privacy and proper examination was unsettling. More recently, when my wife sought help for severe stomach pain and other intestinal issues, we encountered further problems. After a long wait, she was placed in a room with dirty sheets that were clearly not cleaned after the previous use. It was only after I pointed this out that the staff apologized and took corrective action. Regrettably, I fear that the standard of care will continue to decline. If possible, I strongly advise seeking medical attention elsewhere.

Cristina Prodan Absolutely a disgrace My father was there on Saturday 10/21/23 in excruciating pain,after back surgery a week ago.The desk girl who was a Latino person..took a Latino patient who came in after my father 1 hr +. In front of my father.Let my father for hrs without assistance .Then send him home.We intend to put a stop to hes insurance to pay.,.Health care in U SA is denied to American citizens..I intend to file an huge complaint with New York state.This is what I call abuse , neglect, negligence. Ana V I find it terribly infuriating to have medical facilities impose name changes on patients after mergers or buy outs. I’ve been with CareMount since it was MtKiscoMedialGroup (MKMG) then CareMount. Now it’s optum! These business transactions are a reminder of the business model that should not exist within healthcare. What a disgrace. Keep patients out if your business decisions & quit changing office names! Optum is awful! Not just the name- since taking over, the quality has been awful-longer waits on the phone, poor customer service. Hopefully universal healthcare arrives in the US and merged and acquired practices are dissolved.

Me Me So i’m about to go to my radiology appt at 9:30am, and they call me at 8:52am telling me that the technologist didn’t show up and they need to reschedule my appt. Mind u i took a day off from work. So u mean to tell me u don’t have a backup? I have no words. Caremount is just sinking further and further. Every time i have an appt there is always some kind of issue. Either the nurse doesn’t send correct scripts or the internal medicine doctor is not educated enough on certain diseases, has no clue. Does not refer u to specialists either so u might as well slowly die. Terrible. Done with Caremount. Do yourself a favor and go to Northwell.

The way they Caremount Medical is managing their patients during this pandemic is simply incentive.and unprofessional Twice I tried calling to speak to someone regarding not feeling well and unless you can do a virtual visit they wont even speak to you. I am unable to do a virtual visit and was told by Emily who works with Dr. Bacay at Carmel office to call back when I can with no other assistance. I finally ask if my doctor could just give me a call please and I was told not until Monday and today is Saturday. Just horrible.

Nisha Saxena If I could give less than one star, I would. Nobody can give instructions - someone told me “go to a tan flat building” - are you serious?? Every single building in this Putnam Hospital Center area is a tan flat building. Extremely unclear directions and disconnected buildings - Caremount should not be affiliated with this hospital if they want people to be able to clearly find their location. Not only this, but also I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for my appointment. Very disappointed and would recommend literally every other Caremount over this one.

D. Barcia I miss my old private doctor that retired! This is my second child and I’ve had nothing but trouble with this organization! Changing my appointments without telling me, waiting for over an hour for each visit, and basically just going in, listening to the heartbeat, and going home. I haven’t had an ultrasound in over 3 months. Very disappointed and glad this will be our last child.
