lily to put it bluntly, stephanie is not great at doing hair. she can do basic things like haircuts and simple colorings but when it comes to more complex things that involve using bleach, DO NOT GO TO HER! she is very likely to damage your hair, not achieve the results you want, and the worst part is that she lacks professionalism and accountability! she doesn’t apologize, will tell you that “people make mistakes”, and will overall have a “deal with it” type of attitude. she will offer zero discount for her mistake(s) and will hint that she still wants a tip from you. unbelievable. I also didn’t like how she talked poorly about her 23 year old stepdaughter, it fed into the unprofessionalism.

Natalie DiRuzzo A completely beautiful, modern salon in a great location! Cristy is amazing and always does an amazing job! It always feel so comfortable there! I cant recommend all the girls there enough! They now have a girl doing makeup too!! 5 stars for sure!

Gina LaRose I made an appointment with Stephanie for myself and my son at 11. After waiting 30 minutes someone suggested I call her being she wasnt at the salon. I reached her through Facebook messenger and she said she had a conflict at 9 this morning. Then said she needed a "jump thing" because her care wouldnt start. She might be able to get to the salon by 2:30. I explained it took me an hour to get there plus I just had a knee replacement and was not going to sit there for hours. She then told me "emergencies happen" I dont find a car not starting 2 hours before my appointment an emergency. Stephanie could have called and rescheduled or canceled. She was given an $80 tip for services she provided the last time because shes a struggling small business owner according to her. I also had to pay a deposit for my last appointment so I would show up (which I didnt mind). Yet she doesnt have the common courtesy to show up for my appointment. This salon just lost my business. Im afraid they will lose a lot more if they continue to let Stephanie work from this salon.

Erika Casey The worst part of the experience I had was that Stephanie got bleach on multiple parts of my shirt (the upper right shoulder & a random blotch at the back of the bottom right of my shirt). I understand that accidents happen, however, she tried to HIDE the mistake that she made. I was never made aware by her that she had bleached and ruined my shirt. When I had initially noticed it in the mirror after showing me the results of my hair, at first, her and the salon owner she works for Heather completely brushed over it and kept talking about the blonde in my hair. When I had mentioned it again to Stephanie directly, I said “I would like to know why there are bleach stains on my shirt and nothing was said to me” and all she did was shrug her shoulders and make a scrunch face towards me. I cannot make this up. She offered no apology or compensation towards the fee of my shirt (which was an approximate $20 Hot Topic brand shirt). She completely avoided taking any accountability towards the mistake that she made. On top of that, she promised me results that she couldn’t achieve on my hair. I understand that my hair was previously dyed with permanent color, however, she word for word PROMISED me that she could “definitely get my hair to where I wanted it to be” by my 2nd appt, to which she did not. I booked her for a balayage on my hair and after my 2nd appt my hair was not only orange toned, but it was also left extremely damaged. I knew with the amount of bleach used, that it would be damaged. However, it should not have been left stringy and fried. My hair was left terrible and I had to book an appt with a different cosmetologist to fix my hair as best she could. On top of that, when the owner Heather was there at the 2nd appt (she wasn’t present at the salon at our 1st appointment), Heather had a hair appt with a client that just so happened to miss their appt. So because Heather was free, she came over to help Stephanie with my hair. It’s a good thing that happened, because Heather ended up taking over completely as she was clearly a lot more knowledgeable & skilled. Heather ended up correcting and giving a lot of pointers to Stephanie on how to properly apply bleach on my hair and how to properly do the balayage. I kid you not, Stephanie ended up *literally* standing there, scrolling on her phone, while Heather was doing the complete process of my hair. I wouldn’t have minded had I gotten the results that I wanted, but, I didn’t. Stephanie should NOT have promised me the results that she did knowing she was inexperienced in doing balayages and that there was a chance of not achieving them, knowing that I had previously colored hair. Don’t get me wrong, she is a personable person and is easy to get along with. But I will say that there is a reason as to why she’s had her cosmetology license since 2008 yet doesn’t work as a cosmetologist full time. She works full time at a different hourly job and only works her salon job as a little side hustle. She constantly advertises her business on several pages to support her ‘small business’ which is a big part as to why I chose to trust her with my hair. I love to support local and would rather support someone local than a corporate-chained business. I hate to say it, but there is clearly a reason as to why not many clients go to her for business and put their trust in her. Unfortunately I made the (costly) mistake of trusting Stephanie with my hair. The last thing I have to mention is that Stephanie CONSTANTLY posts hair pics of OTHER cosmetologists work. Most of the time she doesn’t give credit to the actual person who did the hair. She uses the work of other people to try to gain more clients and business, and you can clearly tell the difference between the random professional images that she posts verses her own work. Don’t get me wrong, I think that Stephanie is capable of doing basic work such as simple haircuts, or the ‘money pieces’ that she advertises. I wouldn’t recommend her for any complex or skilled work, such as the balayage that I went to her for.

Renee RUFFRAGE Washed my hair then denied perming it. Complete waste of my time. Jennifer kept trying to cut my hair off because of the "dead ends" that I dont have. Refused to give me a perm even though thats why i made the appointment. Many other salons would have permed my hair. Over priced, 18$ for a wash and cut. I do not recommend going to the Nail and Hair Enterprise by Trina.

She was very friendly and professional and my nails look great. The salon itself is clean and modern. I got a gel pedicure and gel manicure on my natural nails which came to $75 plus tip.

Tammy VonBank I went to MANY nail places prior to Soho. I am extremely picky. I have been getting my nails done for 32 years. Once I found SOHO I knew I found my home Spa. They ALWAYS do such a beautiful job. It is always relaxing. All the ladies and owners are soo friendly, customer oriented and have smiles on their faces for the customers. The Spa is clean and relaxing. Everyone compliments on my nails and asks where I get them done. Everyone I send to SOHO loves it there. Thank you to all the Ladies and owners. ❤️❤️

Lexi Hansen I went to get my nails done for a very important wedding. Let me say first that the other few times I’ve went there service has been fine, but this is my first time with this particular nail tech. I really wish I had time to go back and get them fixed but I went right before the wedding so my nails would be fresh. She didn’t get very close to the cuticle so they already look grown out by a week. I noticed that at the salon but didn’t have time for her to do my entire manicure again at the time. My toes are kind of messy, and she only painted the very tip of one of my toes which unfortunately I didn’t notice until I got home. I only get my nails done a couple times a year and I’m so disappointed that they look like this after $70.

Mia Kenney When I say I was highly disappointed after my experience here, it is an understatement. My nails didnt come out how I wanted and I paid over $80 for them! That is outrageous. Not to mention my nails came out all different shapes and sizes. Also I was there for almost 3 hours. No nail appointment should take more then an hour and a half. The only good thing about this experience was the color of my nails and the fact that she was nice.

Desiree Reader They were running a little behind but they apologized and more than made up for it with the quality of their work. The first nail salon Ive ever been to, and Ive been to lots, that actually took their time to make sure manicures and pedicures were of quality. Super friendly nail techs who talked and joked with you (this was my first time there) usually when I get my nails done at other places the techs ignore you to talk to their coworkers or look at their phones or rush through the service. Very clean environment and one of the lowest costing places Ive been to. Will definitely be back.

Karin Minicozzi I left a review this week and somehow it was not visible the most recent review of their business was 2 months ago very strange? So I will try again. I got gel dip nails and they were awful! Within 2 days I had 8 cracked nails. I’ve had my nails done every 3 weeks for years and rarely break a nail. Trying Luxe was a big mistake ! I went back the same week to let the guy that did my nails redeem himself by fixing them and they are worse than the first time. They are thick crooked and uneven. The salon was not very clean and the workers unprofessional. I’m shocked that they have any positive reviews seems sketchy.

Karen Phillips First time going to Luxe Nails. I went for a pedicure, and from the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good experience. I was greeted immediately by one of the staff members. She was super sweet, and fortunately for me I did not have to wait long, since I did not have an appointment. Everything about this visit was amazing, very attentive and meticulous. When Ive been other places, seems as though they rush you if you do not have an appointment, and then the pedicure was not even worth it. This was certainly not the case here. I will definitely be back, and would highly recommend. My only complaint is that you cant leave a tip when running a card. Make sure to have cash on hand. That is the only reason for 4 stars...

Jennifer Delnero The owner is very attentive and my nails look great! The acrylic was not too chunky and the shape is just how I like it. Couldn’t decide on 1 color so decided to do 3 different ones and it’s so cute! Prices were fair. Will definitely be back again soon.

Operation #FreePete I had my acrylic nails removed and had a French manicure on my actual nails. I went here earlier today, and this will be my go to nail place all the time. The cleanliness is immaculate. The professional is spot on. They even did my cuticles which make my nails look the way they are supposed to. The nail tools are brand spanking new such as cuticle clippers etc, which other places dont do as other places reuse the tools. I will be a forever customer here. Luvinda Cobey Hellen was truly AMAZING! I was having an issue with my current set from a different salon and was really distressed about them. Hellen took me in first thing the next morning after my call to the shop and I walked out loving my nails again. She took her time doing every step and they came out perfect! Krista Darling I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure, this is my second time going and they’ve done a great both times. I love that they don’t use the dremel sander too much on my nails for my manicure, other mani-pedis I’ve had have been rushed and end up harming my nails in the long run. They take their time, which most places I used to go to, don’t. This place will be my go to nail spot from now on!

Skye Buffa I went with three people in my family. It was very clean and they had many colors. I got a regular polish manicure and pedicure done. It took around 1h 50m, which I was expecting longer, so I was pleasantly surprised. My nail tech was pretty nice. Although it felt a little socially awkward, Id go again.

Melissa Beyer Obernesser Only went because I had a gift card to use. Just got a gel color change on my fingernails and color change on my toes. They checked my toe polish before leaving to make sure it was dry, wore sandals home, got home and 3 toes on one foot were smudged. It was before closing and I had to get home so I didnt have time to go back. Left for vacation, 2 days after getting them done, two nails already chipped on the edge and on two, the polish is peeling up. Would not recommend, at least not if youre just going for a quick color change or gel polish.

Alaina Maine Always a great experience and I go routinely every 3 weeks! The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Even if it is busy they always take their time and ensure I am satisfied. They also always listen to requests and NEVER rude/offended if asking for a change. I love to see a busy local business, and can tell how hard the staff is working at all times. The reviews that complain about waiting 15 extra minutes for an appointment are ridiculous, they are busy, but they are also not going to turn away walk in business for appointments that potentially might not show. If you observe there is so much consideration the staff take to try and seat groups together, be with a preferred technician, honor walk ins/calls etc. Go with intention to relax and unwind and you will be SOOO happy you went there!

Deere shelby (sophiafreak7797) I started coming here back in October after a different salon completely messed up my nails 2 days before my engagement photos. I was panicking, very upset and hoping for the best. Ryan listened to me (and my panic) when I told him what I wanted showed pictures. He showed me a few different colors and was just amazing! The shape was perfect and the colors were exactly what I wanted! His work speaks for it self in my engagement photos! I have been going back to get my nails filled and they are all amazing! Love the spa pedicures too! I have never been to a salon that does so much for pedicures! And their ATM has no fees! They are wonderful, friendly and I kind! I love going there! They are fast (not rushed but efficient) and awesome at what they do. People may complain about the prices but when you’re paying for quality it’s totally worth it!

Megan Rockhill The first 2 times I came here I had great experiences. This time, not at all. Not only were my nails rushed, but it doesn’t even look like she tried to fix and make them presentable. Now I’m not upset that it’s not identical to the reference photo, I’m upset because there are VISIBLE gaps between the colors (which I asked to be fixed at least twice) and you can also notice on several nails the sloppy lines and where some polish was smudged into the next color. Like I said I wasn’t asking for it to be perfect, I just don’t appreciate paying $55 to leave the salon with a sloppy 2nd grade looking design that I had asked to be fixed. Waste of time and money. Nadia Ososkalo Absolutely awful experience!!I came with a group of girls to get pedicures before a wedding. I was put in a chair and had to wait about 20 minutes for a tech to become available. Once the lady finally came over, her equipment did not look clean, she looked all kinds of frazzled, she even stopped what she was doing Just to walk over to her purse to answer her phone. Once she started working on my feet, she was rushing and kept pointing out that I had really bad feet and I should be getting pedicures more frequently. My feet look exactly the same coming out as they did coming in. She cleaned up my cuticles and painted my nails but other than that there is no difference in the state of my feet. She nicked my skin a few times and I have a lot of redness in those areas post pedicure. Please save your money and go elsewhere.

Dennis Yero I got my nails done may 5th as soon as they opened, I had an appointment. I come in I sit down I’m waiting…mind you I have other things I needed to do that day. I sit there for 20 minutes until finally the employee whom I scheduled an appointment with, shows up. I show her what I want and she’s doing my nails it’s a medium/long set, simple French tip design with glitter. In the process of this I was cut twice on the sides of my fingers. The past two days have been quite a bit painful just doing daily tasks. She acknowledges the cuts and mentions that I have sensitive skin…miss ma’am? Anyways. This catastrophy lasted an hour and a half and after only two days I have a chip on the side of one of my nails. This was easily a $60 set. But I was charged $85

Krista Darling Most of the time I have a great experience but today was a little different… I got there at about 12:20pm and sat in a chair waiting for a technician. No one even wrapped my nails. Nobody told me how much longer it was going be. I sat there for a full 40 minutes and watched two other people walk in and get serviced before me so disappointed, especially on a Sunday. They should be better staffed or only accept appointments and no walk ins if they can’t handle the volume.

Briana Moriarty I’ve been going to Duke Nails for years now and the service and staff are both incredible. I’ve done gel polish, gel dip, and gel X and love all of them. I recommend making an appointment as they do get busy. I’ve never been unsatisfied with any of the services I receive.

Kristina Scerbo Myself and daughters went I got a gel manicure my 2 daughters wanted gel dip. I used to go there many years ago and I believe the massage was included in the price of your service so when he asked for a massage I said sure. I was done within an hour , my kids were 2 hours, no gel dip my one daughter said her nails were paper thin my other daughter her nails fell off by the end of the day. Called them said to come back, we did, the guy at the desk was very rude laughing saying no they are not lose and when we first cashed out told my daughter how much to tip her lady and I was charged for my massage! You think when they ask if you want a massage they would tell you they charge for it! My daughter was very uncomfortable cashing out cause he was laughing and pressuring her to tip more than what she wanted! Will not be returning!

Bianca Falange Made an appointment online- so easy! Sally was meticulous and took her time, but was quick/efficient. My nails look beautiful! My daughter also got her nails painted and Angel did great! She made her feel special and we will definitely be back!

Mary Hydar I have been here several times now and received manicures, pedicures, and brow waxing. They consistently do fantastic work and are so kind and welcoming. I find their pricing very fair for the quality of work received. Highly recommend!

Sierra Hawthorne This was my first time at Beauty Nails and Spa and I had a wonderful experience. I made a booking online and when I arrived checked in. The man at the desk confirmed what I was looking to get done and I was seen within one minute. Angel was kind, welcoming and thorough. She took time to discuss every detail of what I was looking to get done (gel removal and a French gel manicure). I can tell that Angel takes pride in her work and builds a loyal clientele. If I lived in the area, I’d be a regular!

Savanna Born I had Amy today and let me tell you she is AMAZING! I got a full acrylic set with some pretty intricate designs and she nailed them! She is super sweet and definitely knows what she’s doing. All of the women there are amazing though! I’ve never really had any issues with anyone that’s there currently! My mom also got her nails done (acrylic fill). We’ve always had positive experiences and have been going here consistently for a few years now! Would definitely recommend checking them out.

Alivia Pritchard I personally wouldn’t come here again. I received what I asked for but after a week the gel started to change color. Almost as if it wasn’t fully cured which left me with a very unpleasant feeling. I’d hate for this to happen to someone else.

Wren Howard One of the best salons in the area! Super calming environment and only do builder gel so if you like that this place is for you. Offered me a complimentary quick shoulder massage and a free travel sized hand cream after. Pricing is fair and my nails have stayed on for weeks. Absolutely recommend

Sarah Lynn Marion THEY DO NOT DO ACRYLIC FILLS. I called ahead and specifically asked for an acrylic fill. The employee on the phone said they could take me, so I drove over. I sat down and began the regular routine. When it came time to apply the new acrylic, my nail tech brought out Builder Gel. I said “oh no I want acrylic fill, not gel” and they told me that they only do gel fills, not acrylic. I ended up doing the gel because I was on a time crunch and had already been sitting there for 45 minutes. I don’t understand why they said they do acrylic fills over the phone when they do not do them. I would not have driven over. My mani is already lifting and chipping.

Judy Kahler Very poor pedicure. Normally a regular pedicure will last 3 to 4 weeks. The evening I had my pedicure done I already had a chip out of the polish on one toe and polish was 1/4 gone on another nail. Also the edge of my big toe was scratchy like it had not been filed. I returned the next day. The nail tech fixed it and was very apologetic, that is the reason I am giving one star. She apologized to me several times. The two men at the counter never apologized when I walked in and told them about the problem. Here it is two days later and polish is off yet another nail!! Very disappointed with this pedicure and I would not recommend this nail salon.

Cassandra Lewis I got a Brazilian wax for the first time. The environment was very calming and clean. She communicated everything they were going to do. She made me feel very comfortable the entire time. The only negative was the cramped parking in the back of the house.

Farrah Abdelaal Every massage I have had here has been amazing. I have had 90 minute, 60 minute, deep tissue, and shiatsu. I have used the salt room, and float tank. The massage therapist Darlene is so talented, skilled, and an excellent masseuse.

Heather Phillips Great service, relaxing location, and clean! I dont want to write this review... I dont want this hidden gem to be found. This place is absolutely the best place for manicures and pedicures. This is the absolute best location to get your nails done. I went from overgrown Barbie pink, to Halloween Black & Orange! I came in for a fill today. It took longer to pick the color for my nails, and then it did to get in. Kevin was amazing! I will only be seeing him from now on. He was precise and wanted them to look good.

Aleisha Haskins I went to this lovely place for the first time today and wow what a wonderful experience!! Everyone is so professional, friendly and talented! It’s an extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well managed salon. I immediately felt welcomed, relaxed and happier when walking in. I personally had the spa pedicure and gel manicure. I could not be more happy with the beautiful and wonderful work the technicians did (Ella and Selena). Needless to say I will definitely be going there from now on. One extremely happy customer!!

Pamela Jennings I’m not sure when a pedicure using gel polish became a “spa” pedicure but $70 for a 15 year old to go to a semi formal dance is ridiculous. Plus tip brings that to $85.

Mia Hilton My nails came out nice, but they were so pushy about what kind of polish I got to the point where I was stressed and spent more than I wanted even though I was super clear about what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend.

Lacey Hurwitz I went here for the first time today . Was greeted happily with no wait at 6pm which is usually peak time and got a gel Pedi. The service was great and finished by a complimentary massage. Price was 65 for spa gel Pedi which is average now a days. My nail tech was super nice and offered suggestions which I appreciated. I left with a coupon for next time that I will definitely be using to come back !

Jessica Louch Called on Tuesday after leaving a message Sunday about getting in on Tuesday for a pedicure and scheduled two pedicures for Friday instead because my call was not returned. My mother drove an hour to get the pedicure with me and this is not the address anymore. I called back to see where she was located now and was told that someone else had called and cancelled my pedicure for two. Different name for the appointment and wasn’t told where the new location was and was told she could not accommodate us either. I have gone here a few times with no issues but will not return after this.

Lily Sklar Such a lovely experience! Very courteous and well-priced. My nail tech truly took her time and went to great lengths to make sure my ombré gel nails turned out the way I wanted!

V V This salon is truly a hidden gem. I drive well over an hour just to get my nails done here. Both Yan and Nathalie do such incredible work, and always go out of their way to make each client feel very comfortable and relaxed. I had an extremely difficult time finding a salon that knew how to properly do ANC. Then I found Nails By Yan. Yan and Nathalie are extremely talented.Their ANC manicures always come out looking very natural (at the previous salons I visited, the ANC was always layered on too thick and never properly filed down).They also do an incredible job with pedicures. They always take their time and make sure that each client is happy with the results. And they always give out so much great (and free!) advice on the best way to take care of nails. I truly cannot say enough great things about this salon and I will never go anywhere else.

E B Easily the best manicure experience I’ve ever had, they were very respectful and professional and consistently checked to make sure I was happy with how it looked and that they were not hurting me. I even asked them to change the color after they did one nail and they were so understanding. My nails looked amazing! Such a good price too

Molly Duda This was one of the worst nail experiences Ive had. I came to get nails done for my wedding and walked out disappointed. Dont come here if you expect your nails to look flattering. I came there with a gel polish already on, but instead of soaking my nails off, or explaining what she was doing, she started picking the nails off with a cuticle trimmer leaving my nails peeled. Because this is what she did my nails were rough and bumpy and she told me that I cant put a light color on. I told her it was for my wedding and I only like light colors and she continually asked me if I like deep colors so she can cover up the mess she made. I then showed her the pictures of what I wanted and she responded "aye aye aye". It was a sheer nail with a pearl colored tip, she said she cant do anything like that. I then showed her a picture of a french with a few of the dot flowers and she asked if I told the person that I asked for a design because she can not do this (I did not but ive never seen a nail tech that cant do the dot flowers). I then showed her 2 more pictures and she could not do anything because of color or skill. I then settled for a french and it was uneven and the tip was thick so I just went with a pink nail because a french was apparently too complicated. On top of having no skill she made my fingers look short and stumpy with how she filed the nails down and my hair is getting caught under the gel to top everything off. Additionally, I was supposed to get a pedicure and I just left. Her question after all of this was "do you still want a pedicure." Obviously she didnt want to do it, and I wouldnt let her touch another nail again. I trusted all of the great reviews and regret this decision. Maybe the other nail tech is the one that gets the great reviews.

Bethany Arrington I popped in on these wonderful ladies (they are reservation only but like a dunce I didn’t check that) and not only did they fix my broken nail…they tried to do it for free! Angela also found pretty much the exact same color to match my current color even though I got my manicure out of town. Talk about impressive. Amazing color selection, kind technicians, and they know dip manicures. I am over the moon with my fix and will totally be back for my next manicure. 10/10 would recommend.

Ashlee DAconto Love this place!! My best friend got married over the weekend and we had the bridal party come in to get our nails & toes done. The bride hadnt ever gotten her nails done before and they were so patient and kind with her! They were very accommodating for each of us and made sure all of us got the nails we wanted for the big day. I forget the name of the gentleman who did my nails but they came out so perfect!! 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Amina Feratovic This place was highly recommended to me by another person I know. The nail salon is clean but honestly I love my nail tech the most. Her name is Tina and she has great customer service and is very nice. She also is very clean! I love that. I got gel nails on my toes and dip for almost $90 but I think it’s worth it because of the great end product.

Jillian Gray I have been going to polished for years now. I’ve always had good reviews up until recently. Last month I got my nails done and the same day my nails started peeling and bubbling (I get full sets with tips acrylic and gel polish). I called, they offered to fix it but I unfortunately didn’t have the time and had to do it myself. AGAIN, I went in last night and woke up this morning to find my nail doing the SAME thing. When I was there the nail tech was rushing and didn’t even take me seriously when I asked him to even out my nails. They are bumpy and uneven and now bubbling and peeling. I’m very upset with this and have decided I won’t be returning. Careful when you go. Hopefully your nail tech is better than the 2 I went to. Also for reference, I work a desk job and I am NOT hard on my hands so this makes no sense.

Alexis Hubbard Elisha has been doing a nails for a while now and she does them exactly how I want them everytime ! She’s very detailed in her work and takes her time to make sure it’s perfection. She never disappoints. Not only is she an amazing nail artist , she has a an amazing personality. This is by far the best salon around!!

Pink Love I have been coming here for years for pedicures. I decided to get nails done. Big mistake. Im not sure of the nail techs name she never told me and wasnt very friendly. I was quoted one price only to be told a completely different price when it was time to pay. I explained to the tech I didnt want my nails wide I wanted them to look natural. Two of the nails are crooked, some nails are longer than others, and some of them are extremely wide. Then for the nail tech and owner to stand around talking about me like I wasnt sitting right there. So needless to say no more nails for me from there. Extremely unhappy with my experience
