brittany decker This practice is completely unprofessional. I was seeing Mcnulty for a migraine issue. When I was prescribed something else by another provider for another issue he flat out refused to change the migraine medication that he prescribed even through there was a severe drug interaction between the two. His exact words where “go to a university hospital I shouldn’t have to change the prescription that I provide to you because another provider gave you something else” This to me is uncalled for as there are a ton of medications on the market. He simply didn’t care and was totally disrespectful. I will never step foot in this practice again I did end up filing a complaint with NYS department of health.

Kay Disbrow KIND
Dr. Koszer is very KIND.
It is not hard to find a competent neurologist, but my experience has
not found any that treated me with such respect and kindness. His staff, especially Lisa, are equally welcoming. Dr Koszer has been very intuitive about which meds would be right for me. I always look forward to my appointments with him and he always responds to my phone calls

c. w. I went to E River Neurology for years when I still lived in Columbia County, NY. I saw a woman named Kathleen Rendich who was AMAZING! I dont know if shes still there but she was extremely thorough and had an excellent bedside manner. She made you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I loved her and loved the practice. Everyone was so nice. I had appointments with Dr. Savrov and also Dr. Koszer for a sleep study and an EMG and the two of them were also famtastic. I dont understand the negative reviews because all of my interactions were positive! Professional, courteous, comforting staff.

My 5 year old got waitlisted for 2 plus years more than he should have due to do covid and then we were offered televisits which are almost worse than going to the office because you wait an hour plus past your scheduled times and then when you cant wait any longer because theyre taking their sweet time and wasting ours… you cant get through to ANYONE to reschedule!

Tim Irish This person is undoubtedly the worst physician in a county noted for its sub-par assortment of doctors. He is unknowlegeable, clumsy, rude, utterly unrofessional and squarely at the bottom of the heap of that malpractice mill of a hospital. That CMA would place this stooge in its hospitalist program is reason enough to skip this dirty, run-down non-hospital altogether. In the depths of his ignorance, I suppose this boob rates half a star for occasionally washing his shaky hands. Avoid him at all costs.

Ccc Dear Patient Relations Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services I recently experienced at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/Herbert Irving Pavilion. I have several serious concerns: 1. Lack of Translation Services: I do not speak English, and during my interactions with the hospital, no one offered translation assistance. When I called, I expected support to communicate effectively, but this was not provided, making it very difficult for me to understand or be understood. 2. Unauthorized Changes to My Appointment: My appointment time and doctor were changed without my knowledge or consent. I was not informed or asked for approval, which is unacceptable. 3. Switch to a Nurse Practitioner: My appointment was reassigned from a doctor to a nurse practitioner without my agreement. This change was made without any explanation or discussion with me, and I am not comfortable with it. These issues have caused me significant frustration and inconvenience. I request an explanation for why these problems occurred and what steps will be taken to address them. I also urge the hospital to ensure translation services are available for non-English-speaking patients like me in the future. Please respond to me in writing at this email address, and if needed, you can contact me at my phone number

Family Hochstein My dad is there with endocarditis ... they have him on a gurney in the er for 3 days, there is a woman walking around with covid, and patients sleeping literally 2 Inches away from him... they locked him in bed and he is getting weaker by the minute. They are so overloaded that they kicked all visitors out of the er. They forgot to feed him for 24 hours .... and there is no care being given because he is "admitted" but since there are no beds he cant get treatment

Claire Kim Their billing department is absolutely horrible. They don’t seem to know how to deal with secondary insurance plans properly, and it seems that the billing dept staff don’t communicate with each other. It is one of the most prestigious hospitals, but their billing department is one of the worst ones I’ve ever experienced. They have given me so many headaches. No matter how great their doctors are, I don’t think I will make a doctor’s appointment with Columbia Doctors anymore.

Casey ODell The most disgusting receptionist rats Ive ever had to deal with. I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A MEDICAL ISSUE!!! My primary care doctor moved and they gave me a new one a while back. They kept trying to get an appointment but I work nights and its hard to do anything on a good day plus I wasnt sick. Within the call I had with miss awful- I said if Im not sick why did I have to do the appointment? Isnt that a money grab? ( I need to pay a co-pay for an appointment when not sick is not something I can afford) and I followed up with. If I come to the establishment appointment with new doctor, will the medical issue I have be treated then or do I have to book another appointment as well ( i would have booked the other appointment as well while on the phone hence asking). Apparently, Im hostile and need to be sent to a managers voice mail. Oh I left a voice mail. So, I called back to book an appointment, they kept putting me on hold, telling I need the manager or hang up on me. I kept calling back... wonder why? Because I need medical care!!!!!!!!!! The one receptionist was gaslighting me and tried to tell me Im not even a patient their . I called back ten times asking to schedule an appointment. I guess the receptionists determine if you get care or not. That utterly disgusting and negligent because your in the medical profession. When I had CANCER I had to see a primary care doctor once a month. Hope no one has to try to book an appointment with them because they are un-equipment morally to book it. The shame is I was a receptionist for 8 years, I never did that. Its was my job and I did it. Pandemic has made terrible people in positions they shouldnt be in. I would terminate all of them immediately if I was their boss. You book patients who are sick immediately so they get their care. Instead receptionists have to answer questions and they get upset and have tantrums. Every time I deal with them they are utterly awful, save ur life & health and go elsewhere. They should be a shamed of themselves.

Kristin Grogg I was not impressed with her mannerisms. I felt as though she were talking to me as though I am a child and was somewhat degrading in her tone. I do not go to a doctor unless I am truly not feeling well, and talking with a doctor who seemed unconcerned and unwilling to meet me half way is truly aggravating.

Kristen Ledesma I had to take my husband to the ER yesterday, and I was very impressed! It was clearly a very busy day for the hospital, but the staff kept things organized and kept people moving along. Once my husband got taken back, I was impressed with how quickly they got him hooked up to an IV, started treating him, and ran a myriad of tests. Every staff member we dealt with was pleasant and professional, and shout out to Nurse Denise who handled the majority of my husbands care. Thank you for taking great care of both of us.

Andrea Diaz The worse ER place in history, have tried this place 3 times in 4 different years had problems breathing told me I had to wait 3 hours other time a child was vomitting crying in pain the mom kept pleading with staff to take her son in, staff said he had to had to wait. Another time told me, wait time was 3-4 hours if I wanted to go somewhere else to go there. They need to either hire more doctors or investigate this place, it is ridiculous.

Al K I have to say my experience was mostly excellent. I hated being in a hospital bed for three days straight. The food, for hospital food, was pretty darn good, and like cooking at home for myself. I do have to say they did not put me on dietary restrictions, that could easily influence your personal experience.
The staff were kind and empathetic and made great efforts to provide solutions to my requests. I would like to thank most of the staff however I was in such a mental spin I did not get all names, sorry
I wish to thank Sofia for her kindness and David for his helpfulness, Diego for being a good guy, Raphael for being so considerate and pleasant. Like I said I cant recall all the names but it was mostly great

Amanda Williams I need a zero star option for the emergency room at NYP Hudson Valley. Came here because we live 5 minutes away with my almost 7 WEEK OLD grandson who had blood on his pacifier for no known reason to us and we were made to wait in the waiting room while MULTIPLE (OVER 7 OTHER PATIENTS) were called before him.
It got to the point where the nursing manager FINALLY came out to speak to me and still no temperature check or anything was done for the baby. I have been in hospitals where there were no rooms but the nursing still chose to actually triage the patients even in the waiting rooms. The nursing manager and the PCT told me that other patients had more priority over my grandson, the pct( patient care technician) who was calling the patients even told me I can go to another hospital.
Who ever is running this hospital needs to suspend and retrain their staff because the care in Healthcare is completely lost in this emergency room. Other patients were willing to let my grandson go before them and the PCT declined and told them thats not how it works. Im disgusted and saddened how my grandson, daughter and I were treated tonight at this emergency room.
My grandson was born in this hospital BTW but this will be the last time he visits, I pray in the name of Jesus he never has a life threatening emergency where he needs care because NYP Hudson Valley aint it!!

Jim Wach Well, this was the first time I have been unhappy with the care from the doctors affiliated with CCMC. After a referral to Dr. Subudhi, I arrived for my appointment and was brought into a room. However, I ended up waiting for 50 minutes before the doctor came in. While I understand that emergencies happen, I hoped that if it were me, a doctor would make time to help me. When Dr. Subudhi finally came in, he introduced his PA in training and proceeded with the fastest visit I have ever had. I was out of there in 6 1/2 minutes (noted because I had waited so long), with a recommendation to get a blood test and return in 3 weeks.
The day before my next visit, I came down with a cold (testing negative for COVID-19). Knowing the hospitals COVID protocols, I called the office and asked if I should reschedule my appointment. The receptionist sweetly told me that there was no need and that Dr. Subudhi would do a telehealth call between 12-1 PM. Since I was feeling under the weather and at home, this was not a problem.
However, Dr. Subudhi did not call me until 2:15 PM and was on the phone for only 2 1/2 minutes. When I raised a question that I had asked during my office visit, he said that he had nothing in his notes about it and that it was probably nothing. I find this unacceptable when it comes to my healthcare.
The final insult came when the bill from the insurance company arrived, and I was billed $566.00 for my 6 1/2 minute appointment. While I am sure that Dr. Subudhi is a competent doctor, time management, attention to patients, and office manner are not his strong points.
Therefore, I will be looking for a new doctor.

This lady is more worried about her ego than Patients, ive come yo find out she is known for this issue... Just horrible and puts lives at risk, shameful ..

Todd Seekircher Absolutely, mind-bogglingly horrible experience. Its almost as if New York Presbyterian is in the business of bad customer experience and PROFIT and zero to do with taking care of peoples health.
1. They are short on primary care physicians
2. Our physician was booking 6+ months out for a physical, went on medical leave, our appointments were canceled with no way to then get our physical unless we switched doctors. Our physician assured us NYP had good "coverage" for her while she was out. NYP would not let another doctor do the appointment unless we formally switched PCPs, at which point we would not be allowed to switch back to our original PCP.
3. When trying to get a (long time) prescription re-filled while our doctor was out, NYP wanted to charge for a telehealth visit, but also NOT allow that doctor to do the annual physical
4. Heard, through the grapevine, not from NYP, that our PCP was no longer on leave, but had left the practice. Called to try to get a new doctor at this location- after 20 minutes on the phone booking dates in July and October because (shocker!) this new doctor is also out on medical leave until then, I was told we would have to have a preliminary "intro" visit with this new doctor because we are new patients, even though Ive been going to this doctors office my whole adult life. Oh, and this intro visit would have a copay charge attached to it.
5. I could continue further but will instead spend the time researching other practices to find a new PCP

Linda Roca Review Title: Disappointed with Service and Lack of Empathy
I recently had an appointment today at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley - Endocrinology - Cold Spring and unfortunately had a very negative experience. I was running late due to unexpected contractions and, despite my best efforts, couldn’t call ahead because I was driving. When I arrived, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful, which only added to my stress during an already difficult time.
I’ve been feeling unwell for the past three weeks and needed to see my regular doctor, who doctor santos she didn’t want see because I was late however I been horrible unwell. After they made other appointments for November 20 2024 I hoped that the staff would be understanding of my situation, but instead, I felt dismissed and unvalued as a patient.
I live 40 minutes away, and I chose this facility hoping for better care, but my experience was far from what I expected.
I would not recommend NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley - Endocrinology - Cold Spring based on my experience. It’s essential for healthcare providers to show empathy and understanding, especially in situations where patients are in distress.
I hope they can improve their service and treatment of patients in the future.( however I know they won’t improve their services)

Roca Morales Title: Extremely Rude Staff and Poor Service
My family member had a frustrating experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley - Endocrinology - Cold Spring. She arrived 15 minutes late to her appointment due to unexpected construction and was unable to call ahead because she was driving. The front desk staff was extremely rude and refused to see her.
She has been feeling sick for three weeks and had hoped to see her regular doctor, Dr. Santo, but he wouldnt see her either. To make matters worse, they scheduled her next appointment for two months out, which is unacceptable given her condition.
I would not recommend this place based on our experience. Compassion and understanding are essential in healthcare, and unfortunately, we did not receive that here.

Jade M The Cold Spring location is a hot mess. This practice has cancelled on me twice just days before my appointment. These appointments took months to get so it is very frustrating that they cancelled not only once, but two times 2 days before my scheduled appointment. It’s been difficult to get an OBGYN appointment since the pandemic, and as someone with a busy work schedule it is difficult to schedule one to begin with. The person I spoke with on the phone was not very helpful in scheduling a third appointment. I am extremely disappointed with these offices.

They refused to take her vitals or give her blood work, the night nurse looked right at her and said "we have better things to do here" and discharged her. 2 days later, she went to Northern Dutchess and got proper care. Northern Dutchess informed her that had she not sought medical attention, she would have been dead within 12 hours. Steer clear of Columbia-Greene at all costs. joseph b smith I was brought In an by ambulance for my spinal issues that I have with my lower back they gave me an MRI and a CAT scan proving that I had slipped disk and spinal stenosis. They drugged me for seven days and I felt like a complete drug addict. The first spinal doctor said I did not need any surgeries or they could not perform Cortizone shots in this hospital so they continue to drug me. I demanded a second opinion by another spinal doctor. That was a doctor was from Albany medical center. He saw how much pain I was in and had me order to be shipped over and taken care of properly where I got a Cortizone shot and I was able to walk again. while I was in Columbia Greene hospital I was paralyzed and could not walk and all they decided to do was declare my issues a muscle spasms when they had the proof in the x-rays and the MRI’s that I had a slipped disc and also spinal stenosis.
Absolutely horrible experience would never recommend this hospital to anyone or my worst enemy..... stay clear of this hospital.

Courtney Tobin I’m only giving it a one for their reception staff. My infant son saw a physician here at the Jefferson heights office. We brought him in for his two week check up and four week check up. We brought up a couple of concerns all which she stated were normal and not to worry. Lone and behold the terrible rashes, constant crying, lethargy, throwing up, and swollen face she claimed to be normal (although I expressed what I thought it was) were absolutely not. My son was suffering from a milk protein allergy and was admitted to the hospital for 5 days because his immune system was weak and needed IV antibiotics. She Completely dismissed everything I was saying to her about his symptoms. I could have lost my son because of her neglegence. Thank god I listened to myself and did my own research when I did. I would never recommend seeing ANY provider in this office.

Morgan the doctors here are great. Mary the receptionist is not. She is incredibly argumentative about absolutely nothing. This woman would argue about the sky being blue. I am hoping to find a new pediatrician just so I can never see this woman again.

Theresa Ferguson So I have been at CMH for the last 3 hours with my father in excruciating pain. Still have yet to see a Dr. Just a bunch of nurses walking around and chatting. He was brought for a CT scan and then when they bring him back...couldnt even take the time to lock the bed. I had to call someone to lock it because everytime he moved or cough the whole bed shook and moved. Rolled 4 feet away from wall before they fixed it. Nurse dropped a blood pressure cuff, needle and heart rate reader on the floor and just left it there. Finally after about 10 nurses and Drs just walked past it someone picked it up after I said something. Then they just put it back on the counter. No cleaning it or wiping down. VERY SANITARY CMH!

Jody S. I had a very bad fall. At this hospital I received efficient, thorough emergency care. It was a busy Saturday morning, yet they still managed to make me feel like I was getting individualized attention. I was in and out in a little under four hours, despite it being busy enough to require getting all my care in a hallway. They are hard workers, and it shows.

Jenny Toomey Spectacular experience if you can have a spectacular experience when you are in acute pain. I was lucky it was a calm day. Parked in front. Hobbled to the emergency room, intake was polite and warm. I was in a bed in the ER within the half hour. The nurses who gave me an IV and took my blood were friendly, attentive and funny. I was there for several hours and could see how kind they were to some patients struggling and testing the limits of patience. The doctor was clear about what they were looking for and then very clear in her diagnosis. A day later and Im in much better shape. I feel very lucky to live near this hospital.

Pamela Perez My mom was rushed to the hospital last week and was given a full work up. Nurses were wonderful and attentive and everything was done quickly. One even hugged me when I got upset. Doc on call was wonderful and explained everything.

Katherine L they are useless. They do not help at all and have no compassionate for you. Do not come here. All they will do is give you tylenol and let you go home. They also talk to you in front of other patients, no privacy at all.

Tina Walker Dreadful inadequate treatment. My daughter was rushed to ER with head injury and injured shoulder over memorial weekend. They did x-ray, said fractured clavicle did CT scan for head put in 3 staples . Dishared her on the saturday after a couple of hours she was in terrible pain. They gave pain medication for 24 hours even thought it was a long weekend. We had huge difficulty getting any more. We had to take her back to ER they let her sit there with no pain meds for hours. Finally gave enought for 6 hours. Next day drove back to NYC with her in terrible pain. She went to HHS she had fractured her clavicle in 4 places, needed a 4 hour operation with 2 plates and pins and was given heavy pain meds for the pain. She is now home and healing but no thanks to anyone at the ER at Columbia Memorial in Hudson. Avoid if you can, if not make sure you have an advocate with you .

Dale Burger Nearly assault by an RN the night of the 18th. The security guard has to stand between them and me. His coworkers had to hold him back. Also another nurse threatened my well-being. Then after returning home had night-terrors all the rest of the night. Since then have been experiencing anxiety and panic. Dont go here.

Caitlin LaRussa Zero stars. Total nightmare. Do not go. Took my partner in yesterday at 1p because we thought she had appendicitis. They had her waiting in a hallway for two hours before being seen at all with no updates or anything. Finally took her back and I was not allowed to go with her. She was there for ten hours, alone in a chair sitting next to other ill patients. No privacy, no bed (for anyone). Sitting right next to unmasked and coughing patients. No ability to be a safe distance away. Throughout the day, her and everyone else’s private health information was discussed openly in the hallway. Total HIPAA violation. At the end of it all, they forgot about her for 1.5 hours and then when she asked what was going on, they said “oh yeah you can go”, as if it was her fault that she hadn’t just asked sooner. They released her with “Tylenol” as a discharge plan and did not give her any of her test results, nor did they check to see if she had any understanding of what was going on with her health. She left crying, scared and confused. I had to go back in there and ask for her test results and the doctor (a tall, white, doctor of osteopathy - beware! - did not get his name but will definitely follow up) was incredibly dismissive and acted like I was being a bother. When I complained, he literally walked out of the room and told me I could talk to patient services. Never ever again. Also, good lord! If you don’t have the capacity to treat patients in an acceptable manner, please say so upfront so people can go elsewhere! For what it’s worth, the woman at the front desk was lovely and an amazing advocate. I would have lost my mind if not for her.

Michelle Berman I was seen immediately. Testing was thorough and follow up explained. Everyone was busy but attentive. I would use them again if necessary.

George In my short time as a patient at twin counties sleep center I had a horrid experience. The staff have a very poor bedside manner and seem to be quite incompetent in their so called medical skills. There is a chunky, hideous looking blond woman that is both uneducated and very rude. She definitely needs more training on how to talk to people. Not to mention it took her three times to read my blood pressure and each reading was different. Another time I told her I needed a note faxed to my job to cover a 3 day absence and this blonde ditz faxed my entire medical history over to HR. Hello!! Can we say hippa violation?! I dont have much faith in the doctor either as she didnt even come close to helping me with my condition. She was very short and rude when answering my questions. She always seemed to be in a hurry and couldnt get me out of the exam room fast enough. Last but not least the receptionist at the front window is about as clueless as they come. She was fumbling around at the computer trying to make a follow-up appointment for me and still couldnt get the time and dates I requested right. Total lack of organization! Judging from my personal experience this establishment is extremely unorganized, rude and very unprofessional. My advice is do your research and find a team that can give you professional and courteous treatment because youre not going to find that here."

#1 The doctor is actually very good, but most of the other people in the office are not. Especially donna. That woman is rude and should not be answering any phones at all. Shes too lazy to do her job, so she instantly transfers you and doesnt even tell you where youre being transferred. That woman should be fired.
