Paulina Masailo I brought my kitten Marcelene here for her vaccinations and to be spayed when we first got her and was very happy with the staff and how well they handled my spicy kitten. Fast forward a few months we had to bring her in to be checked because she cut her toe open and a week later because she wasn’t eating or drinking any water(she’s a problem child). The doctor Jeanne Fournier gave us some options on how to proceed and was extremely sensitive to our financial situation. She had us follow up to make sure Marcelene was getting better and even made sure to call me back after hours when I was in a panic and had some questions. Thankfully Marcelene is better and I am so thankful for the vet and vet techs that helped us through this stressful time! Couldn’t expect better care for our little fur baby

Jessica Bordelon Awesome provider! Even saw my dog in an emergent situation as a new patient when NO OTHER veterinary clinic would take him because he was a new patient. Donner Creek were definitely life savers!

Jessica Raff Dr Fournier had always taken great care of us! We had a very sickly and needy dog previously and she always made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of!

Dan McDonald A very caring staff and a very talented veterinarian. They always take the time make us feel welcomed and answer all of the concerns that we have. And there is no vet in the world as talented as Dr Fournier, especially when it comes to surgery. She saved our dogs lives many times with her high level of skill and each time their surgery wounds healed so well that we would have never known that they had operations. They are the best of the best.

Megan Evans I have no problem having treatment performed on my pet by any means. The staff at this vet in particular have no idea what they are doing. I called in scheduled an emergency visit being told at a higher fee of 85 dollars. Perfectly fine I wanted my kitten looked at right away. Turns out I was over reacting and just fine. I told the receptionist that someone else would be taking my kitten due to me having work and told her that I strictly wanted his leg looked at and to know whether or not he was blind or with cataracts. The vet then decided that without calling me the owner that she could go through with a bunch of tests and then put a lovely 400 dollar charge on my card without authorization. I tried to call the vet the see what was done to my kitten after seeing the charges and the receptionist was absoltutly clueless. I told her the day before what was to be done and upon his arrival they asked him again what was wrong with the kitten as if I didnt explain everything so answer all the questions when the appointment was scheduled. A case will be put in at BBB and a complaint on the vet practice due to no communication to pet owner. I am a pet owner and I have the right to know what is being done to my pet before it is done. To add to the terribleness of this place my kitten passed away 2 weeks later after this place swore up and down that the treatments were needed and that the kitten was fine, but still didnt tell me what treatments were performed. And if my kitten was fine why did it need treatment?

Michael Rodgers I would definitely give this place five stars but I cant do that considering Ive called four days in a row trying to get my son seen they keep telling me theyre going to call me back and no ones called me back. I feel this is very unprofessional childrens Dr...

Maria DeFilippo Awesome doctors and staff! They are very thorough, very friendly, and always try to fit you in right away. My kids have been going to Dr. Baier for over 10 years and we have NEVER had a bad experience. In fact, when my oldest son was 3 months old we were going to a different doctor in the area. We were 15 minutes late arriving to a sick appt., so the other doctor turned us away. At a recommendation from a friend, we left that office and went right from there to Dr. Baier who saw him immediately-even though he was not already his patient!! Definitely deserving of 5+ stars.

Ashley Mark The office has a great staff and friendly. I feel very comfortable taking my kids there. They do run tests if need be and don’t just brush things off. The only thing I wish they had was a “well visit” waiting area and “sick visit waiting area”. Our old office in a syracuse had this along with the rooms in the back being sperate as well. Just a suggestion I hope they implement some day.

Amber Baker 5 stars for Dr. Baier because he’s by far the best DR ever. Had him when I was a child and now both of my sons go here. Great man. My kids love him!!! If it weren’t for Dr. Baier I would rate this place 2 stars due to the lady who takes appts that just hung up on me without making me an appointment. Very rude.

Nikk huber I have a family member whos been sick for a few days, and they wont see him, just to check and make sure everything is good. If a child is sick and out of school for a few days, then youd think even if its nothing that hed be seen. This is starting to get ridiculious. It took them a few hours to call me back.

ashley All together I like this office but one issue I had is that I brought the CD with XRays that I was given at urgent care to the office for our scheduled appointment, as recommended, and they didnt have any way of viewing the XRays - why not? Seems like a normal necessary option at a doctors office. All that we were told is to make an appointment for Ortho, which is another 2 weeks wait. Just annoyed to show up to this appointment for nothing really.

Katelyn Kwiatkowski Disgusted with the women who answered the phone. My husband is autistic and doesn’t communicate well but she wouldn’t know that because she jumped to conclusions. Instead of asking me why I’m calling on his behalf she made a snark comment to what she thought was under her breath or to a coworker who knows. To which I called her out for saying so. I simply called to discuss whether or not he needs an appointment with them or can direct me to where he can go as THE INSURANCE CARD STATES TO DO SO. Absolutely foul that you have someone working for you who disrespects someone over the phone so effortlessly.

Brittany Carter My kids have been patients since they were born as I myself was a patient as a kid, for over 3 weeks my 10 month old had a fever and I called them several times, did a hospital visit (hospital said to make the primary see her) they refused with a call us on Monday or Tuesday (this was the second Thursday I had called) took her to urgent care and she got a antibiotic via a shot with another (make the primary see her)... Called that following Monday and explained, they refused to see her because that one shot was working on her, well here we are almost 3 full weeks and I took my son in for a check up and the doctor Deb saw how fussy and upset my 10 month old was and checked her over as well to see why she was so fussy and realized she had a ear infection and called in some antibiotics for her.... 3 weeks later and a doctor took initiative after the nurses pushed me off for weeks .... Deb gets 5 stars the nurses who acted like I was crazy get the 3 because they are sweet in person.

J Lundy This pediatrician works hand in hand with CPS child protective services of both Erie and Niagara counties. Great work!

Heather Brent I absolutely love the entire team at Lockport Pediatrics, especially Debbie and Dr. Baier. As a first time mom, everyone there from checking in, to the nurses and doctors - they always go above and beyond in caring for my daughter and giving me all of the information I need to ensure I am on track with her and that she’s getting the best medical attention possible. I am so grateful to have found a team of nurses and doctors that I know are always there whenever I have a concern or questions. They utilize an online patient portal which makes communication and accessing information so seamless. They are always prompt at returning messages in the portal and calling me, and getting into appointments and seen by the doctor is seamless. I can’t say enough positive things about Lockport Pediatrics. I’m so happy we have such a solid Pediatric team in them to make sure my daughter is getting everything she needs as she continues to grow.

I AM Me Didnt inform me properly. there was too many patience on his mind, i guess. Got me mixed up with someone else and told me different than he put in my record n caused me trouble down the line. The service was good till then and he has a good bedside manor. The performance was all good until it was an issue with the next dr or service. Heed caution ⚠️ butt he was very nice. In the long run, misinformation can unalive a person. Make the next dr upset, giving the next Dr. misinformation details from this one, and they cancel you. You dont get service, n then early detection is out the window, and it causes inevitable unaliving, right? God bless. Truth is it causes dangerous situations. The next drs have schedules and their ways, and this can cause much trouble. Misinformation unalives, it creates emotions and insurance issues. Please be extra careful. Luv n light.. I hope i survive a canceled mess n stress this caused me n my next dr because of this. Will give an update. So far, there is no new test n an upset staff at the new drs. I sure didnt need it. A shame this all happened. Thanks

Richard Vacanti Terrible experience with a double hernia it was about how I was treated after the surgery. My testicles were swollen the size of a cantaloupe for two months and Dr Hodge saying you have to wait. You have to wait not three months. He barely did anything I ended up going into the hospital for treatment and they gave me diuretics in the hospital to make my testicles for the swelling to go down after Dr Hodge kept saying you have to wait you have to have patience. Well not for Three months.thanks to him and his complacent attitude, I would not recommend him to nobody. I just could not believe how he treats his patience after the surgery. I would not recommend him to anybody even my worst enemy

Kristin Frye-Gallaher Dr Hodge performed an appendectomy in March. I was impressed. He was kind and informative. He was conscientious about checking in on my progress. I have barely a scar and I have felt great ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Hodge.

Smith Nikki Love Dr Hodge. He is kind and patient. Great surgeon! Left me with no scar from gall bladder surgery, he did an amazing job!

Natasha Hayes Hands down the worst doctors office!!!! On more than one occasion, prescribed me the wrong meds. Even though if they just read my file, they would have known the correct meds. Took my daughter in for her yearly physical, while at that appointment I even asked for them to email the results to my daughters school. However, school called me about a month later asking for the physical. I contacted the office, to see if they could resend. Told me they couldnt because she never came in for a physical. So I had to make another appointment out of my time, to take my daughter for another physical. While at physical I even had the same PA (Jane), so I took the opportunity to refresh her memory with certain conversations that took place within the original physical appointment. On another occasion my daughter needed to see a specialist at Roswell. Roswell personnel called potempas office, to ask them to contact the insurance company to help a referral to go through. The Roswell personnel was told by a nurse in potempas office that "I dont have time for that." So again, worst doctors office EVER. There is no communication, the one hand doesnt know what the other is doing. I even walked in there the one day, and they were walking an elderly man out from the examination rooms, and you could tell the gentlemen was very irritated as he say back down in the waiting room. As I talked to him, I found out they took him to the exam room, with the wrong patient file. Medical 101, before you bring a patient back, or do any procedures, you are suppose to verify the patient is the correct patient. Well they didnt do that. They started going over the meds that he was suppose to be taking. Which is where the patient realized they didnt have the correct file because he didnt take any of the meds they were saying he was suppose to be taking. So they had to take him back to the waiting room, so the could find the correct patient file, to be able to treat the patient. Due to this offices lack of skill and communication, they have a habit of mistreating their patients. I have more to tell of things that happened to just me, and Ive seen a few things with other patients that have gone there. Potempas office personnel are not professional in the ways of the medical world. If all this, and there is more I didnt mention, what are the possibilities of what they will do, or should I say not do if you were their patient. FYI the medical director allows this to happen. How do I know this, because I talked to her (Diane) on more than one occasion in regards to these issues, but nothing changed.

Wendy Merkle If I could give 6 stars I would. Dr. Potempa has been my MD for 16 years or so. I am not always a compliant patient. She navigated several health concerns with me and my husband (he is a patient too), in a caring, professional, compassionate way. She has always taken time to ask me if I have questions before I leave. Lori her nurse is a doll and knows that weight has always been my lifetime issue, and for many years she let me get on the scale backwards so I didnt see the number. (It was that or I wasnt coming.) For the record I dont do that anymore. :) Dr. Potempa knew the right amount of tough love I needed. It took me a while to understand she was on my side... I know she will be on yours too.

Julie Youngman Best Doctors office Ive been at. They care so much for you. They continue to keep in touch. Ive never experience a doctors office as this one. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Ashley, Dr. Potempa & Staff. You guys ROCK!

jessica burke When I first started here a few years ago, it was great. I felt respected and safe. Key word, SAFE. Having cPTSD, thats a really big deal for me. However, in June I found out, that despite being told otherwise, they had never put an alert in my chart that I can only see female providers. Not only that, but my cPTSD and another condition I have were nowhere in my chart at all. This led to being scheduled with Tyler (I figured girl Tyler d/t trusting them to not put me in with a male) and having a panic attack, resulting in a few steps backwards in my progress. They apologized and promised to fix the issue. Today I called and they tried to schedule me with a male AGAIN, and when I explained the alert and CPTSD issue they got really snippy, said "I dont have time for your lecture, I can schedule you are not." And "theres no need for an alert in your chart." I had to hang up due to having a panic attack. I now I have to figure out how to get my medications while I find another provider. I no longer feel safe nor respected and Im truly disgusted with how this was handled. My fiance is also transferring out. Your provider is supposed to be in your corner. That is not the case at this office and I do not recommend them.

kory rider Absolutely disgusted, have been with them over 15 years. Has gone down hill to a point that I can no longer waste my time with them. Takes 10 attempts to eat three on their broken phone system, nothing but attitude when you finally connect. Never a call back or a useful response given. Their “Appointment” system calls you 20 times even if you confirmed your appointment the first time. Don’t waste your time.

Bernie Sing I havent had any issues when I was there I been at the Lockport & Buffalo site The longest I waited was maybe 20 minutes and when called to make a appointment They gave me appointment within 2 weeks I have no complaints

C S HORRIBLE establishment don’t waste your time like I did! Spent 40 minutes getting checked in because what appears the receptionist did not know what she was doing OK after getting checked in I assumed I will be getting called back shortly after I sat there another 30 minutes and still have not been called so i sat there for one hour and mind you there is absolutely no one else waiting this entire hour I see why they have no business. I just left not worth the headache!

Ashley Miller Our kids have gone for years, used to see Alison Killeen - whole reason we switched to this office was because how attentive she was to her patients. She’s been gone a while and things just aren’t the same. The secretary is incredibly rude, she’s probably the worst experience of any apt we’ve had. She will say the complete opposite of what the main location tells us when we contact them, she yells at adults like they are her children (only way i can think to describe it). She’s very argumentative. God forbid you ask a question or misunderstand her response and ask for clarification. Doctors are okay. They aren’t Alison but they aren’t necessarily bad. They see Dr Beg now. The connection just isn’t the same, for us or our kids but can’t say there’s any serious complaints with the doctors. We have however had issues with our children’s medical records getting mixed up with someone else’s. I don’t know how it was possible but At one point my child’s records had her listed as an amputee… shes never lost a limb. Took me two weeks to get in contact after leaving voicemails, and sending messages through portal for a nurse to contact me about how to fix it. Can’t even access one kiddos records on the portal bc it constantly says he’s not a patient. He’s never been seen anywhere else. They would probably fair better with some sort of office admin to oversee these details that may seem small but are pretty important in the scheme of medical records. Secretary needs serious training on how to interact with patients or she needs to retire. She’s well old enough to know how to conduct herself properly to patients and especially in front of young children, or patients with delays who struggle with communication. Updated review; we will be leaving the office. As I’m sitting here, second day with an apt, I overheard the doctor state that she has a job interview. Receptionist explained she has patients waiting. Someone came out to the waiting room to tell us the “doctor” has a “very important phone meeting” and they don’t know how long it will take. My daughter literally just needs ONE shot. We arrived earlier than our scheduled time (11am) and it’s now 11:24am and we are waiting, she’s missing school, and the doctor is on a whole flipping job interview. We are done with this office after she gets her shot, should she ever get it.

Noelle Getting old can be depressing and frightening. Having congestive heart failure in a town where the only providers seem to go out of their way to demonstrate how disinterested they are in your welfare is hardly encouraging. Not scheduling tests as promised, finally scheduling them but neglecting to submit the necessary paperwork to insurance for approval, after said tests finally completed months later randomly cancelling the customary follow-up appointment without rescheduling and then ignoring repeated requests for a new time. Abysmal, unethical and infuriating. My father deserves better, so does Lockport.

I appreciate his kindness with my mother, who is also hard of hearing. Everyone on his staff is very sweet and professional, and I really appreciate their hard work!

Marissa Hammond He’s a very kind and understanding physician. Always makes you feel welcomed and takes his time with his patients. I have been a patient for 12 years and will continue to be. Office is always clean and staff is friendly too.

Christopher Izzo The Local Expert on Prescribing the Right Pharmeceutical For You: Dr. Jehrio is awesome. If someone wrote a bad review about him, it is probably because they could not receive a certain narcotic or controlled substance from him. I was even turned down for a certain controlled substance at first until he got to know me. Dr. Jehrio feels strong about making assessments and toxing you prior to prescribing you anything. So stick with him and let him do his thing. I received an assessment after 2 appointments. Once I earned his trust, he was willing to really help me out and prescribe what I need to make my life better. I would also like to state that he has a great staff. I have yet to see a male working there, but whatever. All women, all fantastic people. The nurses are cool as hell and always treating you with respect. They too know their sh*t and are an amazing support system for just this one doctor. You will like the short-haired receptionist when you call. She takes good notes on your situation and gets things taken care of. I get a lot of information from her. Each nurse and medical assistant are always on point. Also, Dr. Jehrio knows exactly what he is doing as a primary. He takes his time with you when he finally gets you one on one.My experience included making an appointment, sitting down with him discussing history, him going over my past medical history that he had access to, and then requesting blood work and a urine tox (full panel). Then he went through my pharmaceutical history. He was pretty much fact checking me without making me feel stupid. Because he is absolutely the local expert on pharmeceuticals, he prescribed me certain things that basically changed my life and only because he knows his sh*t. And this man will listen to you. He will prescribe you even controlled substances if it makes sense that you need it. I think Ive said enough. Any bad review is probably from some p.o.s. that couldnt get painkillers or something else. Niagara County has their share of people who aim to dupe doctors. Most people dont realize that you can get what you want if you are trusted. If you need even painkillers or other things, become a trusted person. Dont try to fake docs into prescriptions. Its ridiculous.

stormz media I believe Jehrio triple books patients. If you arrive on time you will have to wait at least an hour and a half before you are stuck in the personal, "second waiting room". mr. jehrio is a pretentious, judgemental, and narcissistic man, who openly passes gas in front of patients (not a joke). he has an inflated sense of self. he mainly treats geriatric patients who may not want the hassle of finding a new doctor. when asked if "health care is a right, or a privilege" he openly said its a privilege. I pity the patients he treats in Eastern Niagara Hospital as well as he has a tendency to treat people with better health insurance favorably, and less fortunate individuals poorly.

Blu Mr On several occasions I’ve had issues that I’ve gone here to get solved and they’ve not done so. I had stomach pains for years, a foot problem, etc. Every time I went in for help they did 1 test. When that test came back and was not the first thing they expected, they completely stopped looking into it. Your pain is not their problem. I’ve dealt with this for years and understand that they don’t care, so I tend to avoid going unless it’s major. The reason I’m leaving this review is because I was just denied healthcare from them because I received testing outside of their office. Because of that, they refuse to treat me for my current illness. I’m stuck without treatment because they refuse to do so and have to find myself another doctor to treat me.

Nicole Heitzenrater We love Lindsey!! She is amazing and has taken such great care of my newborn. She treats your childrens needs as if they were her own. She is kind and listens, we never feel rushed! We have also seen Dr. Beney he is thorough yet patient. I highly recommend this office.

Sarah Marie Sub-par experience thus far. They told me they would specifically inform me of my childs lab results after her father finally took her to get tested for a hereditary disease, as he has the portal access. Not only did they not tell me that it was done nor the results after a month, but when I finally called to ask about it, they told me they "never said theyd call me (I have proof they did) with results, & there was no note in the file to do so". Also, my ex husbands then-girlfriend accused me of HIPPA violation (before my child became their patient) & apparently opened or said they opened some kind of HIPPA law violation investigation with her friend who works there, despite me never having contacted anyone in that office about anything, ever, at that time. Waste of everyones time, completely unfounded(& easily disproven). They also allowed him to cancel an appointment same day, a couple hours beforehand, that I said I was attending with our child, & let him reschedule it for just a few days later, without any notification that it had been rescheduled, despite me asking them to let me know if it was rescheduled, as he has a history of doing that. Hopefully things get handled better in the future.

Bob C. We’ve been going to Dr. Beney’s for over a decade now (after being referred by a coworker) and even though we moved out of town, we still travel here. I am a big fan of Chad and the Chris’s (Beney and Chris P.). My kids and wife usually see their favorite female practitioner. New office is nice, kids like it. Now, since the office has grown considerably, yes…there has been a few bad moments. They won’t tolerate you wasting their time if you don’t follow up or you horse around with their appointments. It’s kinda cutthroat, but it also makes sense. They clearly have a ton of patients and if you’re one that doesn’t take your own health seriously, or their practice and appointments seriously, they don’t seem to want to bother. Go to your appointments, follow up they’ll treat you right. I was one of those patients they sent a letter that they were dropping me. We worked it out. I don’t take it for granted and give them the same respect. No issues.

Shianne Brancato Been going here for a long time with no problem...but today me and my son come in with the flu trying to get seen... they had us sit in a freezing cold room basically outside they now call the "sick" room it has no heat . We have been waitting 40 minutes and we are shivering!!!! This new system they have sucks !!!! Dont come if your sick apparently

Ariana Rivera I’m giving this place a 1 star, since 0 stars isn’t an option… Not only was my gynecologist “on vacation” when I gave birth to my son but she was also absent for many other births of people I know. There has been SEVERAL instances where I was left on hold for up to 10 minutes just to be hung up on as soon as someone gets to the phone. This place is a literal joke.

Sadie Akright absolutely horrible. have spoken to multiple nurses regarding my birth control prescription that shouldn’t have even expired yet that has not been refilled. thanks a lot for horrible service and throwing my entire cycle off! THE WORST OFFICE!

Mei 310 Reception, nurses are all excellent but most amazing thing is Dr Campagna. He is very compassion, human being , helpful, supportive and kindness person. Also he is stand by the patient. He explained everything my questions with his warm heart to spend a long time. He is the best and wonderful DR. Thank you so much Dr Campagna.

Ann Di Vincenzo I had an apt on Friday June 9th. I arrived 10 minutes early and checked in. During the first 30 minutes other patients arriving after me were taken back to see the doctor. So after another 30 minutes I went to the check in and asked if I was going to be seen. Well the girl who checked me in said”who are you again and oh yeah they didn’t come take you back?” She never bothered to get up from her chair or go find out why!!!! I guess when your older and not expecting you get pushed to the side. I will say this. When Dr. Jamal was there you never were treated like that. !!! So this is a shame! Maybe the doctors need a whole new staff or just the doctor I was suppose to see. Maybe the doctor needs to make sure her staff is doing their job!!!!

Kelly Eggert This is an amazing office very dedicated to their patients. My mom delivered 2 babies through him as well and I wouldnt recommend anyone else. When I was admitted to the hospital for undiagnosed breathing pains my 2nd trimester he had nurses checking on my baby every 15 minutes day and night for 4 days, he personally came in for an hour a day between delivering babies to check up on me and the baby and see how I was doing and how much pain I was in. He had all of the 6 doctors relay all information straight to him as he was a circulatory surgeon before an OB. Both OBs are understanding and very compassionate. Without the decades of experience my OB had, my son wouldnt have made it. I thank him everyday for my little boy.

Kimberly RENAUD I like Dr Campania he stopped delivering babies I had Doctor Gupta and shes just very disrespectful and considerate to the patients including myself and her staff I had to do my second pregnancy and almost through my third and I had a switch because of her rudeness and unprofessional as being a doctor

Kennedy Rae Went to this office once and will never be back. Wish I saw Dr. Gupta as I have heard amazing things. However the provider I saw Martyna Zukowska was super dismissive of any concerns I had. I do not recommend going to her. If you’re going to this location make sure you see Dr. Gupta

Erica Dennis I came to the emergency room for excruciating pain and bleeding. Dr. Beg informed me I was pregnant. I was on birth control and still nursing, so it was a surprise. I said something was wrong and had to insist on an exam I knew was going to be extremely painful. When nothing showed on the images he told me I could go the full nine months and sent me home 8 hours later. I kept asking "then why am I in pain?" He told me to contact my ob if I was still concerned. I had emergency surgery the next day to stop the bleeding that was filling my abdomen. I bled internally all night. The pregnancy was ectopic. Dr. Beg told me he had called my OB, but my OB said he hadnt received a call or he would have sent me to another hospital that could do the testing to make sure it wasnt ectopic. Dr. Beg failed to put anything in my records, then blatantly lied when he finally did 4 months later (enough time for there to have been a meeting about the formal complaint I filed). I would not recommend him to anyone.

N. Mix. Terrible doctor. His retirement is waaaaay overdue. After waiting hour and a half to two hours to be seen at the ENH "Express Care," he spends all of 60 seconds with a patient. Hes very rude, barely coherent when he speaks, and knowingly prescribes medications that patients know do not work or that cause adverse effects. (He prescribed me augmentin once for a sinus infection. I tried telling him I couldnt take it because it makes me sick but he insisted otherwise. Didnt even bother to pick it up. I called my PCP the next morning and got something they know works for me without any hassle. Felt much better just a few days later.) So, yeah. Time to hang up your stethoscope, Doc.

Helped me understand how the insurances work and explained things so I can understand. Would recommend over other sites. I’ve been to a few over the years and none of them as helpful as this co.

Duane Bakos The nurses and techs doing the mri are great, the building is clean and neat. However the billing department based in Pittsburgh, Pa is incompetent. They are unable to provide the proper paperwork to my insurance to get paid. And yes, they did accept my insurance. After 4 times of calling and hashing everything out, they are still billing me.

Joe Elter I had a great experience they were nice courteous and helpful had an MRI with contrast. Then they failed to send the records to the doctor that ordered the MRI somehow they didnt have any information on the doctor that ordered the MRI. First time I ever had an experience like this had many MRIs and other places without this issues sending the report to the doctor that ordered it.. so they did nothing until I called a week after it was to be delivered.

Elaine Farchione I have gone to Dr Pal for years, I find it hard to believe these criticisms are of the same Dr Pal. Starting with the office workers, not once have they been rude, in fact they are very caring as are the nurses and PA’s I got very sick in another state, went to ER, through out the night the ER Dr talked with Dr Pal three time figuring the best way to treat me. I came home the next day and the very next day Dr Pal had me in his office at 9 am. Sure sounds like.a Caring Dr to me. Anyone can say anything on social media true or not. The Dr cannot defend himself/herself with ethics and HIPA . I hope when people are looking for. a Physician they take into consideration, most of these reviews are disgruntled people that didn’t hear what they preferred to hear, I have recommended Dr Pal and will continue to do so. You’re in good hands!

Israel Gober Wayne Leblanc is a wonderful and professional PA. Explains and answers questions throughly. Truly a gem. Office staff and MAs are amazing. Kind, patient, and hard working. Dr Pal is a great doctor and has great staff.

Brandy Golding Edit: After seeing the PA’s Jenna and Wayne, they are amazing. They listen, they research, they follow Up and are compassionate. All of the nursing staff ROCKS ( except one that I only dealt with once) Hear me out. If you have had a bad experience with one of the doctors, do not hesitate to see one of the PA’s. Or NP’s. They are sometimes better than dealing with the docs that have a lot going on, and a lot on their plate. Especially now that our healthcare worker shortage is in crisis. The Doctors are still involved in your care, they are just getting a different perspective from a different set of eyes. I am thankful for them beyond belief. And thankful that Dr. Pal continues to put up with me, and my sometimes horrible mouth. You all have really come through for me with my recent challenges, and I appreciate you all more than you will ever know.

It’s normal for a 30-year-old to have severe fatigue, migraines, Neuropathy, edema and a plethora of other symptoms and concerns that NEEDED to be addressed. Dr Gill will do the bare minimum and not let you get a word in regards to your concerns. (Also they missed my mom’s cancers for months….) (my sister was given flexoral for arthritis) This office is down bad. Emma rules though. The nurses are amazing.

And I have issues with my back.That needs surgery, Doctor mcgowan prescribes me opioids for thirty days and then drops me as a patient because I asked for a refill. She is a very rude Doctor that only cares about her own well being and not taking into consideration how other people are in pain. I will never recommend anybody to this practice and I feel for all the patients that are under her care now.

Nice enough Doctor, but primaries really dont do much these days. The office staff is incompetent at best and office management is no better. The new location is nothing more than lipstick on a pig, same substandard hospital and staff but in a new package. Im sorry I even gave this practice the chance.

Daniel Maude At first she seemed like a refreshing breath of fresh air. I have had many problems with other doctors but she seemed to be the exception to that. However, she ended up being the exact same as my other doctors. She had me on a small dose of hydrocodone and raised it up to the highest strength. I was on the same dose for two years. They stop having the effect because your body becomes used to the medication. I had asked her for something stronger because I am in incredible pain. I have tried to get into pain management several times but they do not take my insurance and/or do not do pain medication. She said I missed multiple appointments. One was her fault. She was sick and canceled my appointment. The others were due to me being sick. She will not see you if you are sick. Why be a doctor if you refuse to see sick patients???? So I had to reschedule a few times and she kicked me out of her practice. She said it was failure to come to appointments. I did see her assistant during all of this and she did not count it towards me seeing her. How can I come to an appointment when I am sick and you refuse to see me? All my urine tests were perfect and I even brought my meds to appointments for her to count even though she did not require it. Not a good or professional doctor at all. She also failed to bring me down off of my pain meds properly. I went through withdrawals and she did nothing to help. I would give negative stars if I could. If you want to see her for yearly physicals and stuff like that, she is okay. If you need real help or are sick, go somewhere else.

Anonymous I am completely dismayed at this office! The staff was nice and accommodating. However, Dr. Piwko was far from empathetic and caring. Didn’t listen to a word I had to say; did not care one bit about me or my health. Felt instead like I was there to listen to his woes. Felt very degraded went home and cried. Amy Houseman Dr. Piwko has been an absolute life changer to my family. His staff from the receptionist to the nurses to the nurse practitioners to Dr. Piwko himself are all absolutely amazing. They greet you like your one of the family and are compassionate about what youre going through. My mother recently switched from the awful care of Dr. Clerk to him and they tried everything in their power to help her. With all of us they didnt just push pills they actually tried to find the answer! They do what a doctor should and investigate what is going on instead of guessing. My whole family comes here now and Im forever grateful.

Jodi Dr. Schratz did my gal bladder removal surgery 3 years ago and it went well, easy recovery as well. Im giving him 3 stars because he did my umbilical hernia repair 6 months ago. I wish I would have rescheduled when I had the chance. He was in surgery while I was waiting for 5 hours (4 hours late to our appointment) by the time he was done it was 9pm and he had started his day of surgery early. Looking back he is either to old and needs to retire or shouldnt be working 18 hour days. So first when I came out of surgery I was in a lot of pain and had to spend the night since it was so late. When I looked at the incision the next day I realized he cut right through my belly button pearceing (at a follow up app. He said "I did see it and I really thought I cut around it") NOW the real problem. It took 3 months to heal!! And Im in my early 30s so it should not have taken so long. I followed all the restrictions for recovery. During the 3 months I wore gauze taped over the incision the entire time because it was always draining pinkish white liquid some days so much would come out I would take off the dressing after an hour and a pool of fluid would go everywhere had I just ripped the bandage off . Finally his. Colligue Dr.H (forgot his name) seen me since schratz was on vacation and he burned it shut. Im now 6 months post op and the hirnia is back but 3 times the size. Thanks dr schratz for not useing mesh and making this a very expensive nightmare! I think you owe me a free surgery to repair this one.

All 3 of my kids had such bad anxiety going to appointments because the dr treated them poorly and said extremely inappropriate things! My kid went with out meds for over two weeks even though they made me come in for an appointment to reorder them with his physical a week away. My sister died of an aneurysm at 28 and she refused to have my kids tested. My daughter was told she was fat at 4 and a half feet and 100 pounds. And both of my sons were told to eat cheeseburgers because they are too skinny. There are so many other examples I could give but long story short absolutely do not recommend

Christy Shade-Verstreate Very poor bedside manor for children, would make a better adult physician than a pediatrician. Although the female Dr. Guru is a little nicer and patient. The overall office is just not really geared towards children. Also there is no sense of urgency on their part for reassurance and getting appointments when kids are sick.

Jenelle McKay I’ve been going to community pediatrics since I was a baby. There are too many instances to even begin to name since Guru has taken over. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. It was much better ran under Gilkar. My whole family & I will be switching doctors.

Brandon Marshall Mike is the best. His staff has always been super friendly and helpful to me. Never had issues with waiting around very long. He always takes plenty of time to listen to every little thing you may have issues with. Ive never spent less than 15 or 20mins with him. Other places would barely look at or touch an area and scribble something in their notes and send you on your way within minutes. Its a very frustrating and defeating feeling to leave a doctors office without being confident that youre headed in the right direction with your health and well-being. Acacia has been life changing for me in that regard. If an issue requires deeper work, he will refer you to a great specialist to help resolve it. I couldnt be happier here. Mike is the nicest guy you could ever meet. I will continue going to him as long as possible. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Then suppose to come in following Wed no call an now closed until further notice. Just so wrong no phone calls need meds an now I dont have a Dr smh I really liked him.

AB Actually would give zero stars!!! Do not recommend going here at all. Mike seems nice at first but if you say anything bad about his horrible incompetent staff, which does include is wife, he tells you to get a new primary. I told him I have called to have a prior authorization sent to my insurance company 3 times and it was never done, I was told to “get in line or find a new primary” so I chose to find a new primary. 8 days later he sent in a prescription that I didn’t ask for or need. I was charged co pays for telehealth visits when I didn’t even speak with him, I spoke with his office staff (insurance fraud!!!). Wait time in the office is 2-3 hrs and if you have a telehealth visit he doesn’t call for 2-3 hrs after your appointment or not at all. If you want poor healthcare or a primary who doesn’t listen this is your place to go.

Alexanderia Altonji I’ve been going to Mike since I moved to the area in 16’ based on a friends recommendation. Since then I have referred my husband, mother, father and siblings here - that’s how much I loved his care. I want to be clear that my gripe is not with Mike. As a military family, I was inclined to stick with him because he is well versed in the system, our insurance and the silent struggles. When you actually get to see him, he is personable, treats you like family, remembers your name and the stories your daughter tells him from months ago. His bedside manner is incredible. When I told him about my cancer diagnosis, he cried, he cared. He was visibly affected. That’s means a lot. That’s why it’s so hard to leave this review. For years I suffered through the long waits because his care was impeccable but I’m realizing now that although he’s a great guy, his office needs a serious facelift and perhaps a bit more humanity. It’s disheartening to know that he likely is aware of how awful they are and still keeps them employed. The staff he keeps leaves a lot to be desired and aren’t folks I would ever imagine he’d allow to care for his patients. The ONE exception would be Kayla - who is fantastic, present and thorough. The other girls who work there are awful. They’re often heard gossiping about patients (spoiler, we can hear you through the closed door) or just generally removed from any sort of customer/patient experience. Disinterested attitudes, combative and downright mean 99.9% of the time, UNLESS Mike is present - then it’s all sweet smiles and “How can I help you?” My calls are never returned, ever. I have to get really lucky to make an appointment. Next up, the wait. I have to literally plan my day around an appointment here. Example: today I had an appointment at 9:15, was not taken back to a room until 10:30 and at 10:52 I decided to walk out after still not being seen. I had enough. I would be more understanding if I was given a warning up front or even a courtesy call explaining that they were running behind with an offer to wait it out or reschedule for a more manageable time/day. That didn’t happen. Not even an apology was offered when I politely let them know I’d be leaving and to ensure I was not billed as a no show - NOTHING. Unfortunately, I’ll be spending the remainder of my week searching for a new primary for myself and my family because I can no longer subject my valuable time to this kind of disrespect.

Paint The town DR. MIKE: 5 stars. HIS STAFF: 0 stars. I absolutely adore Dr. Mike, he is friendly, he is kind, and he will not dismiss your concerns. He deserves 5 stars. HOWEVER, the staff that manages phones/appointments absolutely never answers the phone. If you leave a message it seems they wait to return your call 10 minutes before closing. Therefore, prescription refills and appointments take longer than necessary to get. I cannot say I advise against seeing Dr. Mike for this reason, since I do believe its challenging to find a doctor that cares. I will just say that the call dodging of the staff is frustrating and unprofessional, so do not seek treatment here if you dont have the patience.

Dalitza Gómez Wont be going back here again, I asked to see if I can be seen and they didnt get back to me till 315pm, the Dr. Jane James told the triage nurse to tell me to take allergy meds when Ive been having symptoms for 3 days going on 4 days. Nurse kind of tried brushing me off so I had enough and told her I will be getting seen by a different doctor that is willing to listen and give me a check up, if it wasnt for me going to this other doctor I wouldve ended up with bronchitis, since my concerns werent good enough for this dr. Office. Dont recommend anyone to go to this Dr. Office

Dawn Clark If you can go anywhere else, but General Physicians to see Dr.Michelle Potempa for Dr. Vincent Lee I suggest you do so. One month ago, I almost died twice within one week all because they would not take me off of a medication that was not needed for me. I have never suffered from heart problems ever ever in my life, I am 50 years old, I have always been pretty healthy. However, I have issues with my hips and back. That caused fluid buildup in my legs. So I had been taking a 5 mg hydrochlorothiazide pill for multiple years for the fluid in my legs however, Dr. Potempa and her coworkers saw the need to continue to raise my medication, claiming it was for high blood pressure issues that I never had and took that medication from 5 mg to 50 within three months. It depleted my potassium, sodium and magnesium levels to deathly low volumes. I had to be admitted to the hospital twice and I was in the emergency room multiple other times over a two month period from January 25 2024 until March 28 2024. The first time I was admitted was for a 24 hour stay to have potassium chloride flushed into my system through IV and magnesium. I also had to take pills then again, two weeks after that, I was admitted for five days with multiple IVs at the same time, because my potassium would not go back up because they wouldn’t take me off of that pill. However, the hospital doctors took me off that pill immediately within two days. My levels were normal no high blood pressure either. I do not recommend these doctors or their other practitioners within the General Physicians practice. They are all basically in it for the money they will write a prescription for something quicker than anything even if they don’t see you in their office

Sarah Martin The nurses I have seen have always been kind and helpful. However, the receptionist I spoke to on the phone was condescending and made me feel small over a tiny inconvenience. I missed their call twice but called back each time. The receptionist began questioning me, asking things like “don’t you have your phone with you?” She told me that “this phone tag” is ridiculous and I need to be better about hearing my phone. This was on a Monday afternoon. I was busy. I am sure that people miss calls all the time and the worst part was it was only to schedule a routine physical. No one should be spoken to like she spoke to me.

Jessica DemMc I really like this office. Ashley and Melanie are great, they take their time with you and listen to your concerns. The office is clean and all of the staff are very friendly. The only thing I do not like is their patient portal. Unlike other patient portals, you cannot see much and it constantly logs you out while you’re trying to send a message or navigate the site.

Caitlin Dean The receptionist is terrible. I’m a type 1 diabetic, so I catch colds quick and they last long. I had to reschedule an appointment because I wasn’t feeling well. And had to reschedule the next following 2 appointments due to funerals. Bad timing, I know, but obviously out of my control. The one doctor there also put me on a medication you have to be weened off of. Seen them in February. Tried to see them in June and was told, I had been discharged from that office. No letter. No phone call/voicemail to let me know. Yeah, so that medicine I have to be weened off of…no more prescription. I had to deal with all the side effects. Basically, terrible with bed side manner and terrible communication.

Cazzie Bradberry Terrible experience. Half of the staff exhibited good bedside manner other half not so much. I followed their instructions to a tee as far as contacting my insurance , providing code and making sure anesthesia was covered, which it was. Upon arrival I was informed that I would be charged, even though my insurance said it was covered, but we could get started. As I was on a table in a gown I was asked to provide a payment method and left in the table while they ran my card and told me it didnt work, they tried again and miraculously it worked this time. I felt like they left me there until they figured that out. During that time I could hear another employee speaking disparagingly about another patient…I actually wanted to get up and leave at this point, if you’d like a knowledgeable staff and to be treated with respect do not go to Great Lakes surgical.

They also tell me they never got my paperwork which is a nightmare because I mailed it back the day after I received it. So now who has all my personal information???????

LaShonda McKenzie Just an FYI you have to pay $200 upfront just for anesthesia. Do your research with your insurance company etc. There seems to be huge disconnect between that office and insurance companies. Not the best customer service experience. This experience makes me contemplate calling the AGs office or at least the Better Business Bureau.

Dave M My wife and I caved in and went to the new Lockport Memorial Hospital after 4 days of trying to tackle an illness on our own. I previously visited the hospital over the summer and was amazed at the facilities. The Planning Board or BOD couldn’t have picked a better location ! It’s like it’s in its own private nature sanctuary. Just beautiful. The facility itself is state-of-the-art and SPOTLESS !! On our visit we got right in to get checked over. Received immediate attention and care. Painless check-in process. Our RN was Holli and she was soooooo nice ! She provided professional care and went above and beyond as far as helping us. The best thing was she treated us like family. When you feel lousy, that’s huge ! Our PA was Anna and she was also very professional and kept us informed on what our treatment was going to be. Due to complications with my blood work, we were there a LONG time but Holli took care of us. We felt much better leaving than when we came in. I don’t want to go back but if I do it’s nice to know there are professionals like Holli and Anna working there. THANK YOU!!!

Rose Anne King My husband was admitted with Covid and pneumonia .He spend 3 days in Lockport hospital and instead of sending him to Millard Filmore hospital or some other hospital they sent him to Northgate on Nash rd for PT which he is in no condition to participate. Hes were he needs to be to get fluids and better care

Lilly Went in with shortness of breath/chest pain, did wait about 2 hours before getting put into a room however they were extremely busy and I don’t think people understand that it is not first come first serve in the ER. All the staff were super friendly, and took great care of me. The nurses Amy and Wesley were especially great. The ice cubes here are delicious too.

jaden lanham Honestly this place made me feel so uncomfortable besides one overnight nurse I had. Doctor Danielle or whatever his name should not be handling anything related to ob care. I’m pregnant and he gave me an ultrasound. Didn’t ask if I knew the gender and he just gave it away. He’s lucky that I knew on top of that the pelvic exam he was giving me felt so painful compared to getting it done at my doctors. he was so awkward and uncomfortable. And then shift change they almost made me feel bad for having to take an ambulance to another hospital because I could hear them outside my door “is she gonna transport herself“ in the most sarcastic way. They originally told me I was going to oishei which is where I honestly would’ve rather went, but they decided to send me to sisters who doesn’t work with my OB at all and I waited 6 1/2 hours there for them to tell me I’m fine when I am literally pregnant bleeding like crazy and throwing up. Terrible terrible terrible. Just because it’s a new building does not mean the doctors are any better.

I’ve asked about it the people at the front desk are clueless and RUDE specifically Roseanna who during a phone call cut me off in the middle of the sentence and hung up the phone on me for NO reason if you hate your job that much why are you working there? Because of this call I was discharged from the office what a joke

Vicky Okerlund Beware! My OBGYN (Dr. Molly Sheron) that I’ve been with for over a decade recently moved and joined the Mount St Mary’s Network. Now that she’s part of their network, I now have to pay TWO co pays, one to her office, and $190 to the hospital. I tried disputing with Catholic Health and they told me the hospital has the right to charge me in addition to her office because she’s part of their network. I also contacted my doctor but this remains unresolved. If I knew I would be charged over $200 out of pocket for a 5 minute med check (blood pressure check and a script), a service that used to be FREE when she was at her prior location, I would’ve switched doctors when she moved. This is a deceptive practice to charge women over $200 out of pocket for a scheduled routine med check.

Timothy Mullen Had to switch to them because my Dr had retired. Was just looking for an annual check up so i could get a primary on the books. They asked if i mind meeting with the NP because the Drs were booked. I said no problem and they took my insurance information. BOTH primary Drs are consider in network on my health care. The NP is NOT and they didnt even mention it to me. Ended up costing my almost $300 for them to tell me my height and weight for an annual check up. Would of been nice to at least tell me the NP was not in my network. Not a great first experience. Update just to show how incompetent this drs office is the reply below they gave isn’t even correct lol. You can’t call this dr correct because the automatically transfer you to a 800 number. I literally called the number the owner below posted in reply to my original comment and the person at that number told me they couldn’t do anything. I have literally never left a review on a company before. That’s how strongly I feel this place is terrible.

She was so rude and stood there arms crossed as Im telling her my medication and medical problems..she just stood with a nasty look on her face didnt acknowledge she was listening or even cared ..im on blood pressure medicine she stopped refilling 2 of them ..and she stopped refilling mt antidepressant a month ago that I been on for 15 years..as I said she only seen me 1 time ..I only call for my meds ..they should be checking my blood all the time and I also have hypothyroidism that should be checked every 3 to 6 months she doesnt care ..and she doesnt know me but wont refill my medication..Im looking for another dr .

Lcoq19 Not sure why people are having issues here. Ive been with Dr Joe since the Brockton dr clinic opened and Dr Basra since she first began working there. My experience has been nothing short of amazing and I love all the staff there. I always feel listened to and like my needs are met. Im happy for them being able to move to the new location at 6001 Shimer dr because it means so many more people will have access to wonderful doctors and top notch Healthcare! Please dont let bad reviews from frustrated people cause you to miss out on a compassionate Healthcare team. I really cant say enough good things about them! Im someone with a lot of health issues and the doctors have been compassionate and proactive when new issues arise. Id even go so far as to say they are the best doctors Ive ever had! Just be sure to tell them what you need the appointment for when scheduling, especially if it includes paperwork since they do need to allot for time to complete it.

Megan Evans Ive been going to this doctor almost my entire life. If it wasnt for my family being family friends I wouldve left a long time ago. The woman is rude. The doctor is lovely. They have no office hours yet they have three offices. They dont want you going from office to office because she doesnt want to do the work to get your paperwork there. If you want an appointment in Lockport the only times available are 12 to 4 on Tuesday. Thats it nothing else. The woman gets really nasty with patients. The doctor himself is a very nice individual. Good Luck with them.

Lily The woman that works at the desk and checks you in, is very rude and mean all the time. She has a horrible attitude and is just a awful person for no reason. They double book appointments, have you waiting an hour past your appointment and then rush you in and out. Very messy, papers and folders everywhere. Looks like it hadn’t been clean in years, there dust and dirty everywhere. Never going back. Very ghetto, not recommend.

Madison Gutschow By far the worst place I’ve been too. Very unprofessional. I had to sit on a small filing cabinet in the waiting room. The women at the desk was very rude and never had my paper work. The doctor himself is nice, but has no clue what he is doing.

I was the only person there and waited 45 mins just to see the aid then another 28 mins in the little waiting room INCREDIBLY RUDE JUDGEMENTAL AND DOESNT CARE IF YOUR LITERALY IN SHOCK FROM A DEATH IN THE FAMILY NO HELP ADVICE OR EVEN CONCERN FOR YOUR HEALTH YOU LEAVE WORSE AFTER DUE TO THE FACT THE ONLY THING I WAS ASKED IS CAN YOU TAKE ALL YOUR CLOSE OFF SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR CONDUCT TOWARDS YOUR PATCIENCE

Jacque Newton Office smells like cat feces , Very dirty, leaking roof. rude as could possibly be at the front desk. Would not let me use the phone to call my ride. Walked out to go to another doctors office
