Lola Ferrara I recently tried out Cindys Nail Salon in Harrison and had the pleasure of working with Maria as my nail tech. I’ve never had my nails done this well before! She took her time with every detail, making sure each finger was perfect. Even for my pedicure, she was a true perfectionist. The level of care and attention she gave was incredible, and I’m definitely going to be a regular customer for her. Highly recommend Maria and this salon to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Danielle Misuriello This place I usually find the workers very friendly but I was not pleased today when I went in for a lip wax. The worker who did my lip she said to me you should have your eyebrows done too, you need it. I found that comment extremely rude and disrespectful. She should not be passing judgment on any customer at all thats horrible customer service in my opinion. They are usually very friendly the workers but I wasnt pleased at all today with the lady who did my lip wax. The lady had short hair and glasses I sadly couldnt get her name I am not going back to this nail place again they just lost a customer.

Keitlyn almazan I recently visited this nail salon for a simple manicure, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the service. First off, the nail technician seemed to rush through the process. They applied the nail polish but didn’t put on enough coats, which I didnt notice until I left the salon. I had to go back to get another coat, which shouldnt be necessary if the technician knew what they were doing. During the appointment, I also felt a bit uncomfortable. I didnt understand what one of the technicians was saying, and another technician, who was working on someone elses nails, seemed to make fun of me. This was really embarrassing. To make things worse, the nail polish they used was supposed to be long-lasting, but it started coming off way too soon. When I tried to remove it with regular nail polish remover, it wouldnt come off. I ended up having to file down the nail polish, which I dont think is normal at all. The nail polish was being a real pain to come off. It started getting all messy after the appointment, and I thought it was supposed to be dry by then. But nope, I had to file them down to get rid of it. Honestly, that just doesnt seem right, does it? Overall, the service was just okay, but the quality of the manicure was poor. I wont be returning to this salon.

Kristin Carlson I went to so many salons in the area before I found this one. They take time and care with your nails, it’s a smaller more personal salon and I highly recommend it.

Jessica Andrea Palacios I like this place for the pricing and location. The staff is also super friendly. They take their time to paint to the edges. Ive done regular mani, powder, and pedicures-- all good experiences. I am only taking off a star because the space is a little cluttered. Perhaps an additional closet or some shelving could help with this.

Lita Orlay This was my second visit to this salon. I was extremely impressed. The staff, Debbie and Christine were both lovely. Attention to detail is perfect, you are made to feel special, not just a number, like at some local salons. This salon is clean and relaxing. Soft spa music plays, whilst nature shows play on the tv. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The staff are helpful, pleasant and accommodating. They listen to your needs. I really hope to make this my permanent salon. I highly recommend

Anna Woods Best nail salon I’ve been to in years! My new favorite place. Better quality and better prices than any of the bigger names like Nail Spa. Their attention to detail is incredible. Cannot recommend enough!

P Chakravorty Tiny little place but does great job. I mean my nails were chipping off due to a bad gel extension removal (from another place) but here I was really happy with the service provided. I wanted to get extensions again so my nails are protected and does not chip off but they suggested I dont but let them file my nails and keep it short with only gel polish, wait for a week and then come back so my nails are strong back again.

Cynthia Excellent nail salon! Lina, the owner is kind, understanding & very knowledgeable. She listens to what her customers have to say. The staff member that helped me was Quin who was gentle when working on cuticles (something I am concerned about). My manicure & pedicure were perfect! Other customers with other staff all seemed very happy. While it was the first time here, I will now be a regular customer. Do not pay attention to any negative reviews here. If you are not 100% happy, discuss with Lina before writing a review. She is the most considerate and caring salon owner ever!

Kristina I was so nervous for my new eyelash application! I saw April. She was very professional and kind. I think I even dozed off during the appt. They have to tape the eyes shut so it feels funny but it doesnt hurt at all. It took about an hour. April was very gentle. I am ✨thrilled✨ with the results. I wanted a very natural look. They look better than I could have expected!! I also got an eyebrow waxing. Quick and easy!

Christina Morgan Con: Poor decorum I purchased a Groupon for my visit and disclosed this during my time of booking. The person who I booked the appointment with did not mention that Groupon is for only Monday and Tuesday. So, i was upset that it wasn’t mentioned at the time of scheduling. It does specify on Groupon, and I did overlook so I continued with my service at regular price. After i was finished. I was chased a block away for a tip. How unpleasant and harassing. Tips are discretionary and not mandatory. If you want a tip, one should do more, go above the job. Maybe the issue is not the client but the owner failing to pay workers appropriately. I don’t know, but I work for my money that is taxed, and I CHOOSE to Tip when the quality and service is ABOVE the original service paid for. If this is a tip based job please state that. Pros: i did like my lash and it did last

Alexa Porras I came here with my friend and did they did an okay job. One of my eyes looks great whereas the other eye has half of the lashes barely curled. I was not mad at the service itself, it was okay and I probably would have gone back if it wasnt for their complete unprofessionalism. There was a misunderstanding with my friend where they added lash tint when thats not what she wanted at all. Instead of trying to correct the issue and come to a common understanding, what Im assuming is the owner argued back and forth with my friend and tried to pull up the surveillance camera video which did not help the situation whatsoever. Completely unprofessional. After this happened, we both did not feel like we wanted to leave a tip based on this bad experience and the owner literally chased us out into the lobby to try to make us give her a tip. I was planning on tipping regardless, but due to the unprofessionalism I witnessed, I decided I did not want to but was basically harassed by the owner chasing us out to the point where I eventually gave her the tip to leave us alone. Would’ve gone back if it wasn’t for this experience.

Jennifer Innabi Were nice until they realized I just wanted my acrylics taken off. Tracy wanted me to get a polish to harden my nails and I said no thank you as I was getting acrylics tomorrow. She immediately said “you know they can take it off for you” referring to my nail salon. I stated I know but three nails fell off and I have to go to work before my appointment. She immediately got up and said someone else will finish it. Eva completed my “manicure” within 3-5 minutes. They knew I was coming in for a manicure, no polish as I called before coming in. She attempted to put the hardening nail polish on me and I said no thank you explaining that I would be putting acrylics on tomorrow and she responded “1 day?” Referring to not having nails on. I still paid $25 and tipped Eva $10 because I was willing to pay full for everything even though I was not getting the full service. They were very surprised and rude for people that received a call explaining exactly what I needed/wanted done. What they failed to realize is that I work very close by and was going to become a regular customer for pedicures. Due to the way they treated me I will never return and will also tell all my colleagues of my negative experience, especially with Tracy. My “thorough” manicure is below.

Maya Niznikiewicz Tracy did my nails today. She was very nice and welcoming. I really like how she did my nails. This was my first time getting acrylics at Kiwi Nail and I was not disappointed. I wish they had a website with all of their services and prices. I feel like that would help a lot. Other than that, I recommend Kiwi and definitely will come back to Tracy.

Susan Alvarez-Chung I don’t get manicures often, but when I do, this is my go-to place. It’s extremely clean, and the owner and her staff are beyond professional and friendly. I keep my nails short and Kiwi always does an amazing job on my manicures. I highly recommend Kiwi Nail Salon!

Called to make an appointment for the day of but they didn’t have any availability which is fine, and they called back few minutes later saying something opened up so I went. But because timing was closer to closing the nail tech was rushing and seemed pretty upset that she had to work on my nails… which sucked, especially since I wanted something so basic (gel polish change hands and feet). Started getting cracks on my polish 4 days later. Should’ve just let me stick with my appointment for two days later. Side note, unless you’re getting a mani/pedi they do not cut down or shape nails much

Cathy Gunther So after 10 years of my previous place I decided to try Coachella , I decided to make it permanent. They are very accommodating do fabulous work and I am able to get more than two weeks out of my power manicure , I have even been able to go a month a few times.

alexia iuni I tend to switch up my nail shape alot and theyre always able to help. Also great at following nail art. Definitely try out cats eye polish. They also have a list of different types of pedicures if your feeling like treating youself somedays. I only come here now. Make sure you make an appointment

Samantha Rheel This was my first time here and oh my gosh I’m so happy I found Natasha! I made the mistake of going to Cleo Nails and they DESTROYED my nails. Natasha asked me what my goal was in terms of nail shape and length, which I’ve never been asked before. She also did an incredible job at fixing the shape. Also, the salon is extremely sanitary and she took all the precautions necessary for a safe, clean experience. HIGHLY recommend going here.

I’ve been getting my nails done here for a couple of years now and I can honestly say Natasha is one of the best gel manicurist in Westchester! My nails have come a long way in health (I used to do do IBX treatments with her and loved it. Definitely saw healthy growth and more strength in my nails after every treatment. Kate Lichtman WORTH EVERY PENNY :) Natasha is so immensely talented. She pays more attention to detail than any nail art technician I’ve worked with and so creates impeccable line work and flawless designs. Aside from walking out with exactly what I asked for today—which can be SO hard to come by—the space was clean, organized, and cute! I was seated exactly at my appointment time. Natasha also had a wide variety of materials (in addition to polishes) such as gems, glitters, etc., which is perfectly in keeping with current nail trends. My nails look and feel so healthy. Every single service is done in the best interest of your nails and so are worth every cent. It was so refreshing to visit this entirely woman-owned-and-operated salon. **Those who left poor reviews CLEARLY had not reviewed Natasha’s hours, policies, menu, etc. upon booking an appointment. Taking only a few minutes to understand exactly what you are booking and when you are booking it will relieve you of any single issue I’ve seen expressed here. Her website is very straight-forward.

Rebel Heart I would highly suggest to ignore the severely negative reviews on here. Natasha was very down to earth and patient with me. The studio itself does not look or feel like a typical nail salon which was a welcome change for me. Natasha answered my questions about products and services. I was not planning on getting nail art done at the time, but she and I bounced ideas off each other and I decided to get 3 accent nails. I have received compliments from strangers, friends and my hair stylist! It has been two weeks since I went in for my mani and pedi and aside from the obvious nail growth, my mani is still looking great. Diana Olano Im pregnant and was looking for a nail salon in or around White Plains that uses non-toxic products. I was so happy to find Brushed Up Studio provided this service! Natasha, the owner, did my gel manicure. My appointment began right on time. She was helpful in recommending a nail shape and colors that would compliment my skin tone. She was friendly and conversational. Also worth mentioning is how beautiful and clean her studio is. Absolutely no typical chemical smells you get when you walk into a nail salon. Alexandra Nevins I took my special needs daughter and a friend to Bliss Nail. My daughter is wheelchair bound and holds her hands in a fist. Everyone, especially the 2 technicians, were AWESOME. My daughter wanted a manicure, but assessing the situation I told the Bliss staff that this may not be a possibility. These ladies were ingenious! WIth resourcefulness and kindness, they were able to give my daughter both a great pedicure and manicure. Everyone at Bliss made my daughter so happy! My friend and I also got great gel manicures and pedicures. I recommend Bliss Nails highly.

Gonzalez I have been coming to this location since 2018! I love them! They may seem unprofessional because they dont have a receptionist, but they are kind people. They are a small business and they run it in a homely way; there is NOTHING wrong with that. Their work is really good!

Christina Robich The owner did my nails. He was rushing, filed them crooked, didnt clean off white "dust?. Cotton was still stuck on nails. THEN , I am not sure what happened, but the polish never dried. Note that I had to correct him all the way- but in the end had another technician redo the entire manicure. Never going back there again

Melodie Green I was not a regular customer of New Sweet Nails & Spa, but I had gone a few times and loved how they did my nails - specifically their ability to create whatever design you wanted. I wound up getting my nails done there for my wedding day and absolutely loved them! They were very professional and worked diligently to ensure I loved my nails (which I did). I highly recommend this nail salon.

Sarah Washington Such a horrible nail salon! They don’t even greet you when you walk in, they just stare you as if you the consumer are supposed to greet them. I got my nails done on Saturday and by the very next day which my was my birthday, my finger and toe nails were chipped. I paid 143 for gel on my feet and toes and they chip the very next day?? They’re using cheap ali express garbage on their clientele and charging top dollar for it. Steven did my nails and boy was he absolutely rude and nasty. When he first cut my nails after applying the acrylic i immediately noticed my thumb nail was cut extremely shorter than the rest of my other nails. He tried to gaslight me even though I know he could clearly see the difference in height just by comparing the two thumb nails alone. After arguing with me he finally fixes his mistake. During the rest of the appointment he was being extremely rough with me tossing my hands around; he even purposely put the nail dryer on the highest setting towards the end of my appointment and I felt like my hands were going to burn right off. I’m sure he’s a racist and if he doesn’t want to service all races of people in America he should go back to wherever he came from. The ironic part is across the street from the nail salon there is a sign that says Black Lives Matter, well Steven doesn’t seem to think so. If you want the guarantee of poor customer service skills and products, look no further new sweet nails & spa has got you covered.

Andreia I had already been here once and my nails didnt turn out great but I decided to give it a second chance and this time I took a friend with me. Jenny did my manicure. I asked her to make Powder gel and to put extensions on my nails. It was the worst job anyone has ever done on my nails. Even after doing a terrible job, she didn’t finished it and asked a colleague to finish it because she had to attend to another client without telling me anything. I hated her work and I dont recommend it to anyone.

M Brown They were good at one point. Anna used to do my nails until she become rude and started charging me different prices for the same nail service. The times I’d get a design she free-styled the prices intimately over charging. A simple design with lines about my be $60 not including the hard gel fill in. Anna also is more friendly with the white customers than the black customers. I’ve noticed that on several occasions. I’m talking about a simple hello. When the whites walk in her greeting is chipper vs dry.

Ainura K This is becoming one of my favorite places to do my nails! Usually, I would not go twice to the same nail salon, but this is my 4th time, and I never got disappointed. Every nail artist I tried in this place takes a very serious job, and my nails look neat and last very long time (powder nails - 4 weeks) . Definitely consider this place to make sure you get good quality service, a nice and clean place and a very friendly atmosphere .

Ivy M After reading many positive reviews, I was excited for my visit, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. From the moment I walked in, the process felt very rushed. I came in for gel extension removal and a gel manicure - the nail technician used only a drill to remove the extensions, without using any form of an acetone soak. This method left my natural nails paper-thin, damaged and extremely sensitive. At some points of her drilling, I felt a bit of pain when she got closer to the flesh/pink parts of my natural nails. As a result, my natural nails have started breaking off along with the gel manicure. If you’re looking for safe and careful gel extension or acrylic removal, I’d recommend seeking another salon to avoid any potential damage.

Isabella Iannone Loved my acrylic manicure! My technician was very helpful and I really enjoyed the calming atmosphere of the salon. They also have a very cute and well behaved dog named coffee who I got to pet and use as a backdrop for my nail photos. They don’t have the dog out often but he does adorn the salon’s aprons, which is a really cute touch.

Ana Bushi return customer of almost 6 months, and always satisfied with them. I do uv gel because i use my hands a lot every day, and my nails last for 3-4 weeks no problem. you can see in the photos that my natural nails are pretty long too. gel pedicures also last me long, and powder or just regular gel manicures have also lasted 2-3 weeks. Gloria is amazing for uv gel nails, I always ask for her and she is sweet and attentive to detail. Ana and Rocio are nice with color. highly recommend.

Meagan If you are used to good quality gel manicures I would not suggest this place. When I asked for gel the employee kept trying to change my mind to do powder, but I really wish I just left. The "gel manicure" lasted barely a day, very thin and just not done neatly. I got a regular pedicure and it was something I could have done at home.. on top of that I spent over $80 for everything. I wouldnt have minded if it was done nicely but it was rushed and it wasnt like they were busy.. I was the only one in the store. Personally, I will not be coming here again and I suggest you look elsewhere if you want pretty and professional results worth your money and time!

Rita DAlesandro It was my first time there and I was excited to have a salon I could walk to. I walked into a dull greeting and lack of any kind of inviting energy. During my pedicure my nails were not evenly filed, I was nearly burned by the hot water and hot towel, woman gave hand signals for me to move my feet instead of doing it herself. Then she asked if I wanted quick dry that I agree to, which they charged an extra $1 without telling me. $35 for a regular pedicure that was average at best and my feet are rougher than when I arrived. Will not be returning.

Arielle Pham Beautiful, clean and friendly business. The staff is friendly and very good at their jobs. I get dip powder manicures and regular pedicures and am very particular. They always do a great job and make sure you are happy before you leave. They take cards which is also great. I tried a few places when I moved here and they are by far the best.

Abigail Smith Very professional! I love this place and it’s conveniently located. I was hesitant about getting white but they did a great job. I did a refill here and regret going to the previous place. Here they are patient, professional and do anything you need. I would definitely come back!

T. Robinson I give Nailport Spa Salon two stars out of generosity to the lady that does my nails. On the positive end, Maria is good at her job and she takes care of her customers pretty well. She has taken care of my nails for a few years now, starting from the location she used to work for. However, with that said, a good technician is only part of the review process. Nailport loses stars because they lack in time management and overall customer service. If you allow your customers to make appointments, then honor their appointment and show (even if you dont) that you value their time. Its disrespectful and shows a lack of care for your customers. This is specifically important to the owner. As the owner, it is your responsibility to make sure that this is implemented. Secondly, make sure your technicians inform their customers of any additional (hidden) fees prior to doing the work. Believe it or not, if you dont, and the customer is not aware, the customer has the right not to pay the additional fees. However, if your goal is a high turnover in customers, and to not maintain a loyal customer base, then continue doing what youre doing ;-) Do I recommend? Defends. Work wise, yes, only for a select few technicians. Customer service wise, no.

Emma Iredale This has been my go-to nail salon for years! Vivian is amazing and so personable; Even if you’ve been a long time client or walking in for the first time, you will be taken care of! I recommend calling or making an appointment online. You can always walk in but you might need to wait (like most nail salons) as they are a popular spot! I always come in with crazy designs and they never miss! The gold set in my photos was done by Yuki (who pays attention to detail and makes it perfect every time!). I’ve also gotten gel pedicures here and have wonderful experiences every time. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Mamaroneck/Westchester area!

Panthip Mangchupan I returned since last time it was really good, but this time with a different nail technician. Shes friendly, but I noticed her vision might not be the best. Unfortunately, the buffing wheel caused some bleeding because she removed too much skin. The overall finish isn’t very clean either. there are still traces of color around my fingers that she didn’t buff out. $52 and 5% off by cash so $50 but I gave $60 including tips anyway. Probably will go back but will get a different person.

Being in healthcare and attending law school, I have not taken care of myself. It was the best decision! My nails look fantastic! I also had a green tea pedicure - it was wonderful! Going back in two weeks. I am committed to treating myself better, and this is the place to do it!

Arielle Onelli Have been there a bunch and enjoyed it. This time was charged 10 dollars extra on a 25 pedicure for callus removal. Didnt ask for it and wasnt told til I paid. No massage any more either. Would not go back again. I dont like being strong armed to pay more. If you think something needs to be done you should offer and say the price. Lindsay Always an amazing experience at Bellini Nail Salon. I have been going since 2010 and have nothing but good things to say about their services. Kelly is amazing!! She is very patient, kind, on time, very skilled and a sweetheart! She does not rush your appointment and shows true care about her customers. She wants them to be happy! Helen and Coco are also very sweet and skilled at doing nails. I would recommend calling for an appointment as opposed to walking in. Kelly along with the others get booked up very quickly. Bellini is very clean and has a variety of services. I go there for manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing. Kelly always blocks out enough time for her customers and makes good suggestions with colors that are in season as well as recommendations for your skin after facials. Thank you Kelly!! My mother, whos currently using a walker, was greeted warmly by everyone and very carefully, slowly helped to a pedicure chair. While shes been here many times before, this was my first visit. My pedicure was marvelous as was my mothers. Miss Kelly took gentle care with Moms feet and made her feel special and loved. Ill make a point if returning every time Im in NY. Update 9/23: The ladies are still amazing here. They welcomed everyone who came in with the same warmth and kindness. I got a terrific gel manicure this time.

Esther Thorne Visited this salon a few weeks ago after attempting 3 others in the area, this was the only one accepting walk-ins and appearing to be fully staffed. I got here an hour before closing and the staff was kind enough to let me get gel nails and the design I wanted despite the time (one of the neatest manicures I’ve ever seen also). I also really like that this place has actual nail techs and wax specialists with their certificates on the wall! I would come here again the vibes were 10/10

Sahar Khamsehi The staff (especially the receptionist lady) are very unprofessional and rude. They are never busy/crowded though their space is large and relatively nice, now I know why! The water was cold and when I nicely asked, she was basically suck it up it will warm up, which never did! I asked for no bail polish to just have a relaxing time and enjoy the pedicure and massage, but as you see in the picture, they rushed me ( I was done in 10 minutes or less), they skipped a few steps ( including removing dead skin around nails and build up on the corners) and the nails are all uneven and not even straight! Unbelievably incompetent, rude and unprofessional! They will go out of business soon since they never learned how to treat customers in the USA!

Alex Got a manicure with gel chrome and the nail polish already started chipping off the next day. Pretty cheap quality granted it was $60. Also when the front desk woman was asking me if i was paying cash or card, i think there was miscommunication because i told her i didnt have enough cash on me and i was using card, and then she proceeded to raise her voice at me saying i didnt have money for tip (which i did, and ended up giving my nail tech more than what i planned on giving because i was flustered by her yelling at me). She overall seemed incredibly rude.

rosanna espinal Soooo annoyed and upset! First I must say, there weren’t many people of color in the salon. Obviously that is no one’s fault but I definitely felt like I was treated differently because I am a young black female. I had Jon do my gel pedicure and gel manicure. HE DID A TERRIBLE JOB. I still see the red color of my old gel pedicure on my toes and he filed all the length of my nails. I asked for LIGHT PINK and he gave me clear.. I am so upset. To top it all off my total came out to $107 and JON demanded an 18% tip which made my total $127. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I will never step foot in this place again. They didn’t even scrape my feet. I should’ve spoke up but I didn’t want to make a scene. Don’t bother wasting your money here. I’m adding photos of my nails before vs after so you can see how much LENGTH HE FILED AWAY. My red nails were done at another salon but I didn’t return to them because the wait was too long. Next time, I’ll just wait.

Elaine Munoz The pedicure was good but then got passed on to another technician named Kiki for the manicure. I said to keep the nail shape round which is the natural shape of my nails, but she made them more pointy and then one nail was cracked and she insisted that it wasnt so did not apply any nail glue and so later that evening the crack on the nail became visible again. She seemed young and inexperienced. When the customer requests a certain nail shape and is also telling you that her nail is cracked the technician needs to pay attention and address those concerns and dont try and brush it off like the customer doesnt know what theyre talking about. Rule of thumb in business, the customer is always right.

Johanna Cab I always have a great experience at Cleo IV Nails and now even more than they have new owners. Everybody is very attentive and nice. I love how Sharon works and does my nails beautifully. I was always afraid of doing mani/pedi with a new person because I had really bad experiences at other salons but she has been very good. They still have some ladies from the old staff who are really nice and the new owners and new ladies are very sweet and always trying to accommodate you and help you in any way they can. Totally Recommended!

J Hammel Let me start off by saying if I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would since it doesnt deserve the 1 star I have to leave. Everything about my time there was terrible. To start I had called earlier in the day to make an appointment for 2:30 to get my nails done. Ive never been here before so I decided to give them a try. Anyway, get there at my appointed time, walk in and then for the next 20 some-odd minutes the woman is full blown arguing with me that I dont have an appointment now- its at 3:30. No. I called for 2:30 but regardless Im here now and theres not a soul in here. Just do my nails. She tells me to wait 30 minutes. Fine I guess, but whats the point in making an appointment? Finally the man who works there (I dont know his name) takes me and its clear from the start they just let anyone work here because he doesnt know what the hell hes doing. I was getting hard gel extensions and he starts by laying down the extension crooked and pointed downward. He needs to fix it, instead of taking it off immediately after hes realized its wrong, he decides to wait then RIP THEM OFF. No file, no cutters just straight up rip them off my nails. Then while he finally gets them on- albeit not great but good enough i guess, he asks how long I want them. I tell him where I want it cut, he cuts way above it. I figure thats fine since Im used to them being a little long at first but then after filing it ends where I want them. NOPE. Then its time to start building the nails, he starts scooping in massive chunks the hard gel and essentially playing with it because what he was doing could never be considered sculpting. After I have what can only be described as mountains for nails, he tries to file them. Thats not working so instead of shaping them to look like regular nails he moved over to filing down the sides. Hand filing, he filed my skin more then the actual nail. So much so that every last finger is now cut from him just using a hand file. He made multiple fingers bleed to which he just dropped that "shit stop bleeding" liquid on it then jumped back to trying to file down the monstrosity that was on top of my nails. Well that didnt go well either since he filed them down, and my cuticles, so much so that every single one of my cuticles are now bruised. And I dont mean a little, I mean they are all now purple. Not being able to see what exactly hes doing since he decided to angle my fingers down away from my sight he pressed on. I gave him a picture of what i wanted my nails to look like and while I dont expect them to look EXACTLY like what I showed him- I expect them to be at least in the ballpark. They werent. Not even close. I had asked for slanted French with some glitter as these nails specifically were for my engagement party and what I came out with was nails that looked like I was in the St. Patricks day parade while I danced an Irish Jig. They were NOTHING like what I asked for. Ive never been so angry at getting my nails done before and Ive been getting them done for at least 20 years now. I couldnt leave them like that but my fingers were in so much pain I needed to leave them for the day then go to a different salon the next day and pay more money just to get them to look halfway decent. But on top of that the woman could only file so much because my fingers were still raw and cut so I kept flinching every time she had to go near me. Do yourself a favor- NEVER EVER GO TO THIS MASOCHISTIC SALON. THEY LOVE SEEING YOU PAY FOR PAIN AND DISPLEASURE.

Nataly Lopez First time coming here. My best friend and I came here through a recommendation. We walked in at 5PM on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. Parking can be a bit hard to find but if you park at the garage you’ll be good. My best friend came to get her nails done since she got them done at another place and they were really bad. Extremely bulky. I went for gel and I’m very satisfied. Customer service was great, great atmosphere and the nail technicians are very very friendly. They’re also very detailed oriented and THEIR INSTRUMENTS ARE STERILIZED, very very clean. Will definitely come back :) Prices are very reasonable!

Very unprofessional unacceptable, came there 4pm and asked for remove acrylic gel and get a new acrylic gel, when she remove the acrylic i asked for colors that i could choose. Mariah Hudson They do ok nails. The gel nail polish chips off and the regular nail polish peels off after a week or so. Got lash extensions done because I never heard anybody complain about getting them done there. They fell off the same day and owners were rude when called to explain what was happening.

Hayley Mastin Im from out of town and was recommended this place. I got a pedicure and gel fill. I usually get glitter or extras on my nails, but kept it a simple with just one color, since Ive never been. Nails are just okay. Pedicure is also just okay, messed up and missed spots in the polish but nothing super noticeable. Just went with it because itll hold me over until I get home. Called ahead to check prices since they said it was cash only, when I went to pay they tried to charge me $10 extra, even though everything I got was very basic. Was fixed after I said something.

S Scavo Do not go to the salon they are ripoff thats one of the reasons they only take cash. When in to do a powder dip French specifically told them I wanted clear and white after she charged me $7 to take off my existing polish, she then told me she did not have the clear dip. I also got a pedicure for she end up charging me $37 for pedicure. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and a ripoff dont waste your time.

Dayanara Martinez OK theres the thing. If you are planning to get eye lashes extension, dont go there. I had experience going there because I didnt really have a lot of money and Ive heard that it would cost $20. Since nobody mention in the reviews about the eyelashes extensions, Ive decided to go for it and honey my fake eyelashes wasnt sticking to my skin. it was half sticking on my eyelashes. I was falling apart 2 days later. The reason why I put 3 stars, is because they did a very good job doing my eyebrows and of top of that, I usually get my acrylics there and they a good job.

Randi Eisenpress Worst powder mani I’ve EVER gotten. I’m honestly so disappointed. My powder manicures typically last 3-4 weeks and these pics are from THREE DAYS post manicure. They did no bottom coat and only one thin layer of top coat so it was really bumpy and crackly. They didn’t even clean up my cuticles and the powder started cracking literally the next day. Additionally, when I asked to change the color because it didn’t appear how I thought it would, they rudely refused. I’m so mad I literally just threw $60 out the window. Very disappointed.

Jessica Gordon The place itself is very clean and the staff are nice. However, I was upset with the way my regular manicure turned out. My nails were unevenly filed, my thumb nails were cut and filed much shorter than I wanted, and the top coat was globbed on making them look weird altogether.

Michelle herself did my mothers nails and as you can see it is not properly cleaned, the nail polish is smudging her cuticles and her fingers. My mother did not like the job but paid and left. I then called trying to see what they could do for her and MICHELLE was not friendly at all, started yelling and trying to be mouth to mouth with me. Again I have never had this experience at a nail place, and Michelle I hope you learn how to take better care of customers. We will NEVER be returning. Horrible service. Horrible overall experience for my mother and me as her daughter trying to make it right.

Christina Drysdale Let me start by saying I came in right at the end of their service hour. Normally, if I was to ever do this else where I would be told to come the next day. But no, not with Michelle. I express that my birthday was the next day and I was desperate. She kindly took me and handed me over to Roc, who did my nails. In which I did gel tips and gel manicure. Throughout the whole time, I didnt feel like I was talked over normally how most nail salon personnel would do, especially if they are speaking a different language. I was talked to. They even crack a few jokes, even with a bit of language barriers. All in all, the experience was a wonderful 8.5/ 10. The environment was clean, and the nail tech was patient when completely what I asked for. If you guys decided to give them a visit based on this review, please tell them Christina sent you.

Jasmin Rodriguez The experience was horrible, the guy didnt even cut cuticles or inside the toe nail. Then he says sit for 10 minutes, which I sit for maybe 5 minutes. I tell him to add the spray for the nails to dry quicker and then they tell me to wait another 10 minutes. So what was the point of the oil/ spray when i had to wait anyways. And they charge $1. NEVER AGAIN.

N S I’ve been a client of Michelle’s for 12 years and things have changed drastically after the pandemic. In fact, I was such a loyal customer that I made an appointment along with a friend on her reopening day. Unfortunately, prior to the pandemic Michelle began losing all of her awesome nail technicians because they found her to be demeaning. When I have an appointment, I’m always waiting because her workers are up to 45 mins late arriving. It’s always a random new employee who’s essentially in training. Clients should be told this information. Complete slap in the face because she’s pricey and the services have become extremely mediocre. My “SQUARE French manicure” was horrible and when asked to please stop- he insisted on finishing. Michelle had him remove it and polish a basic coat and they still look like I did it myself. After a decade of loyalty towards this “spa”- today I was totally dissatisfied with my service. The lack of respect Michelle has for her clients is unbearable. She demands tips but doesn’t produce the service. For the first time because I was unheard- I did not tip. I wanted to cry I was so upset. Nearly $200 I paid. Countless times she’s been rude to people and her staff, never towards me until today. Only two/three techs now and all amateur. She’s lost a lot of customers so is cheating the ones who go for convenience to meet her quotas. I told my entire family to discontinue bringing revenue for horrible, rude services. Maria, Jenny, and two other women from earlier times are truly missed. They ran the show and did great work!

Lornette Lawrence I use to get great pedicures here. But, my last too visits were a disappointment. My nail polish chipped the next day. Jack, the owner is rude and disrespectful. While I was there he was so rude to young lady, she walked out, cursing. He gave me the worst acrliyic set, they started breaking off the next day and he they were ugly! I would never go back here or recommend them to anyone. They, work with no concern or craftsmanship.

My right thumb totally cracked and gone. Other nails chipped within a day. I will not return. Waste if time and money!! Salt Bubbles WORST EXPERIENCE AT A NAIL SALON! As a local to North White Plains, I decided to come to this nail spa. I decided to go with the standard manicure, and pedicure service. However the workers were pressuring me to do a bunch of add-ons and as I kept declining I noticed an increase of attitude towards me. As a I shrugged it off, the process was very quick and sloppy. The end product was not what I justified the price to be. But at last I shrugged it off and decided to pay. I gave a 17% tip, and the workers INSTANTLY yelled that a 20% tip was the MINIMUM. I do understand tip is a part of their payment, but to be out right rude and pushy on the tip is highly uncalled for in my opinion. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location even though I live 5mins away. I would rather travel further out of my way then to come here. Shame on the business owner, and workers for creating such a hostile, pushing to corner business to a such a lovely town. I am not the person to write bad reviews, but this one really hit me hard.

Mia Weeks literally appalled at how terrible my experience was here. I went in to get acrylic tips removed. they started by aggressively filing my nails with the machine, leaving the drill in the same space too long and heating up my nail bed under it (ouch??). I thought they were going to then soak off the acrylic…. lol no they literally took a cuticle cutter and a metro-card (???)and started prying off the nail- completely damaging my nail bed and causing me a ton of pain. I asked them if they could soak it off instead and he told me that they “don’t do that here.” I literally got up and left after one nail because i was fearful for my nail health. you can see how damaged my pinky is and how they were trying to crack and yank off the next nail before i walked out.

Theresa Renee I had to pick up some necessities for the house today. I searched online for a nail salon near me, just to get my eyebrows done. However, I had to ask about their pricing for the manicure and pedicure. It’s $30 for a regular manicure and pedicure. $40 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The employees are all pleasant. Lissette, did a wonderful job, on my nails and eyebrows today. I highly recommend VIP nails, for all these reason, and more… The staff Keeps the place very clean, and there is free parking in the parking lot, directly across from the salon. BJ’s in White Plains, is a few doors down. I will definitely be patronizing this business, whenever necessary…

Today was my second time and I’m beyond happy how they turned out. I’m not giving this place a 5star since it is “first come serve” and you do have to wait at least 30 min.

Lara Gomez I stopped in due to convenience and left happy. The staff was very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I had rhinestones placed on one of my nails, and a lot of other places charge per stone and I was happy to see that they didn’t do that here. I would definitely return.

Michelle Asarch The last time I was here, the gentleman who did my nails filled my nails so hard that I was bleeding on the Emory board and he put the file back into his drawer to reuse. No intention of going back. When the owner did my nails, she did a good job.

Kate Kobe Worst manicure I’ve ever received. It’s not super clean, one of the nail ladies was curled up in a chair with her shoes off. I asked for square, the edges were so left sharp that I left a visable scratch on myself. The paint chipped within a few hours and most of my nails broke because they were not filed properly. I had to wait to pay, really should have just walked out.

Analiza Lladoc The price is cheap but the quality is poor. I could do better than the nail technicians they don’t know how to put nail polish properly and its so dirty. Also were all wearing airpods talking to someone the whole procedure they can’t hear if I’m talking to them.

Andrea Mellado Today I was beyond disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for months. I go once a month and get regular manicures from the same lady who sits all the way in the back on the left side. She has always done a fantastic job and I’m always happy with her work. Today I decided to dip powder and had to sit with Lee (the owner/manager) because the regular girl I do my nails with doesn’t do dip powder. I asked for a black French tip. The black lines are clearly not straight. When I expressed my concern to her about the right pinky looking crooked she tried to say it was me. I am not one to complain, I don’t like doing that but today I was extremely upset with her work. My nails aren’t even filed evenly. Both thumbs are crooked and anyone can see that. There is stuff under my nails from the powder which she didn’t even clean up until I asked her to. Even then it’s still bad. The cuticles were not touched and they just look bad. If a customer who is loyal tells you she doesn’t like the work, you don’t go trying to say it’s the customer. Charging $52 for this mess of a job is ridiculous. I was better off just getting a regular manicure with the usual lady I always sit with. Lee was just trying to rush and if she thinks her customers don’t notice, they do.

P Chakravorty They are terribly busy so if you want to get in and out without waiting plz make sure you make an appointment. But I liked the job they did on my nails. They are tremendously fast workers so before walking in keep in mind wat you wanna do and let them know so they can accommodate you sooner.

Nevaeh Thompson work. THIS WILL BE MY FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING first the staff like to play games they say 1 thing on the phone and another in store. This lady charged me 85 dollars for a full set mind you no shape(JUST SQUARE) and they weren’t even medium length it was a little longer than my actual nail and you know she played herself because when it came down to paying the lady says “its $90 because the length” so i express to her its not even MEDIUM she says “okay 85” like girl who u trying to play.SECOND she charged me 65 for a GEL PEDICURE mind you a regular pedicure according to their price is $30 so you’re telling gel is an extra $35 dollars…. So another lady of the same culture as the owner came in after me got the same thing “Gel pedicure” and this is why you should be mindful of who u are dealing w she charges the lady 35 dollars for a gel pedicure not knowing that I understood what she was saying to the lady. So i go ahead and pay bc im black and not trying to get the cops called on me so as im leaving i said to her “this will be my last time coming here and you charged that lady 35 because shes one of you” and the lady looked at me in shock…..SO YEA 0/10 WOULDNT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Bianca Smith Rip off! Couldn’t make it to my usual nail salon and I was desperate for a fill so I took a chance coming here. Never again. I do not mind spending good money but I expect quality with it. I had gel fills done, one of my nails still has old polish on it and each nail is a different shape and length. I had a broken nail which she offered to put an extension on and I declined and she did it anyway and charged me for it. I asked for a quick polish change on my feet since I didn’t have time for a full pedi, $15 and every single toe nail has old polish in the corners.

Paola Millan Paid 55 for gel mani and regular pedi. My pedi wasnt great and my mani was horrible. The owner did offer to fix but bye then I was already upset. I told my nail tech that the gel wasn’t great she said she will fix it and before I left one nail color was off. She seemed a bit rude as well (nail tech)
