I recently chipped a nail and they fixed it no questions asked. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Emily Barricelli I love getting my nails done here! I do the dip powder manicures. There is a large selection of colors to choose from and the prices are extremely reasonable. The ladies who work her are very nice and always make enjoyable conversation. They take their time doing your nails, mine are always perfect! They try their best to accommodate your schedule when making appointments. They truly are so wonderful! I highly recommend getting your nails done here.

Haylie Baum Nails world is the BEST!!!! BEST prices, best staff. They give the best gel manicure it lasts for weeks no chips with great color choices. The pedicure is amazing with hot wax and hot rock. the Gel manicure does not ruin your nails. Could not recommend them enough I have been coming here for years

Errah Fawad This is what my nails looked like 40-seconds after leaving the store. The workers are very sweet and elderly but please don’t waste your time and money here. Their service is very poor and they don’t listen to your requests. They speed through the process and aren’t very delicate with the nails. I went to get a gel removal and a regular manicure without an appointment, so there was a 40-minute waiting period. When it was my turn, the woman took one look at my long nails and immediately started cutting the tips without asking me. I was very startled and asked her very specifically that I like my length and I only want to shape them. She didn’t listen to me and completely filed my nail down (my original length was much longer). In the picture you can see my right hand nails are much shorter than my left hand and all together it looks weird. I also asked for a rounded square shape but the woman insisted my nails were square and filed them an odd shape. Then I had to insist to do almond instead because the worker kept getting confused and had shaved my entire length at this point. After she painted my nails, they kept it under a drying machine for ten minutes and insured that my nail paint won’t move, but as soon as I left the store it began smudging and peeling away. I’m very disappointed by my entire experience. Also, they ask you to pay in the middle of the service. My total cost was 17$, so I handed a 20$ bill and got three dollars back which the woman kept on the table for me. When I went to wear my coat and returned the three dollars had disappeared as they thought it was their tip. Now I’m not a scrooge and I was going to tip them at the end, but this was just off. Again, the women were very sweet but I didn’t appreciate being scammed like this.

As a small business, N&V Nail Spa truly stands out in terms of quality, service, and atmosphere. Ambiance: Whenever I walk in, I am greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The salon is clean, and exudes a sense of tranquility that made me feel relaxed and pampered. Service: The staff here are incredibly professional and friendly. They took the time to listen to my preferences and provided excellent recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine care they showed made me feel valued as a customer. Quality: The nail technicians are highly skilled and use top-of-the-line products. I always get sns powder for my nails and a gel pedicure (I believe it’s the lavender package.) The range of colors and designs available are impressive, ensuring theres something for everyone. I always bring reference pics and am always happy with the results. They always exceed my expectations. I highly recommend David if you get sns, or gel X, or acrylic. Their pedicure packages are also great, and David’s right hand (she’s the woman who is always there with him, forgive me I’ve forgotten her name!) gives excellent massages when getting pedicures! Hygiene: Hygiene is clearly a top priority. All tools were thoroughly sanitized, and the overall cleanliness of the salon was fabulous, which gave me great peace of mind. Value: For the level of service and quality provided, the prices are very reasonable. It’s evident that David and his staff value their customers and strive to offer the best possible experience without breaking the bank. There are promos often offered! Point blank, this place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood and I’m glad they are located across from my business! The convenience alone has been a life saver. I love supporting small local businesses, especially businesses who are great at what they do. Whether youre looking for a simple manicure, an intricate nail design, or just a relaxing escape, this salon delivers on all fronts. Thalia T My gel extensions have lasted 2, almost 3, weeks and they still look great. I can be very picky and the wonderful nail tech who did my nails was very patient with me. This is the best design I’ve ever had and am definitely going back. Keep in mind photos are 2-3 weeks later.

The technician David was very knowledgeable and patient about all the concerns I had and made me worry free. He said he has been doing this for 20 years which I can tell too. He did my nail very carefully and explained all the questions I had, very experienced, dedicated and the price is very fair too!! I love my new nail set and will definitely come back again!!

Megan Bell So i never leave reviews, but I would be doing my experience a disservice if i didn’t. This nail salon is a GEM. Hands down the best salon I’ve been to, i get my nails done religiously and i have tried well over 10 salons from garden city to Oceanside trying to find a salon that’s sanitary and not a rip off. This is it. David so fast, but he cared about his work, and the pricing is amazing. I actually almost teared up at the end because i was so relieved to finally find a salon this good.

Tressy St fleur First time at Luna and for my first experience it was amazing. The ambiance is clean, refreshing and and rejuvenating aroma. My nails came out amazing. I had the following service: 1. Gel manicure with nail builder 2. Eucalyptus/ Lavender Spa Pedicure(10). My nail tech Genesis is professional, precise, and patient. My foot massage at the end was a cherry on top. Will definitely come back.

Janet Ortega-Mejia Was recommend by a coworker who had never been but came across LUNA’s Instagram and said it looked like a beautiful nail salon. I’ve been obsessed ever since, It’s been about 3 months and I’ve seen Sol every time. Love the atmosphere, cleanliness, calmness and always smells soo good!! Sol’s a perfectionist, takes her time and is so detailed. The products that are used are top tier, never heard of builder get until Sol recommended and it’s literally the best, last about 3 weeks and my nails have never been healthier . It’s the nail salon I’ve been searching for.

Bebe Gold One of the few places they can do your nails perfectly and it actually lasts. Price is also on the fair side. The color choices they have, I havent seen anywhere else. The work is impeccable.

Astra Austin I made an appointment for 3pm on Sat 2/3/24 based on the reviews. What stood out to me was the alleged "kindness" of the staffers as well as pics of nice nails. Heres what I experienced instead: Sam asked me to leave and return b/c I came early. There were at least 3 empty chairs in the salon. I questioned why I needed to leave and he then said I could sit in one of the empty chairs. I noticed how quiet the salon was, which is great. But "quietness" should not be to the detriment of good hospitality. Kim (who did the "gold" pedicure) was phenomenal (a great balance of professionalism and friendliness). Nancy (who removed my nail gel and filed my nails) was also great and engaging. But- Sam just picked up my hand without talking and started applying polish. When I talked to him, he actually referred to a poster on his wall that says he likes quiet in the salon and he cannot talk in order to focus. Again... I understand and appreciate quiet... AND I know the importance of focus. But- he couldnt answer basic questions (and I am a first-time patron)? His behavior was strange and lacked common sense. I also noticed that he initiated conversation with other customers. When it was time to pay, he tried to rudely rush me as I signed the credit card receipt. After I signed it, he walked away without a "thank you" or "goodbye." Kim and Nancy- on the other hand- waved goodbye and thanked me for coming. Heres the deal-- I was not looking for a flowery exchange full of emotions. I just expected to be treated the same as the other customers: with decency. I never felt comfortable due to Sams behavior. All customers should be treated the same. Its that simple. 3 stars: 2 for Kim (who spent the most time with me) and 1 for Nancy (who spent less time with me as understandably helping other customers). I hope my tip (that Sam said he would divide between the staffers) will be divided between Kim and Nancy only as they provided good service. Sam did not. He was rude and the polish on my left thumb (applied by Sam) already started chipping.

All the ladies/gentlemen staff were very nice and excellent at what they do. Sam the owner runs the place so well, paying attention to detail so that each person is treated well while hes doing a customers nails as well. Customer experience was tops. Bride Soon Very bad service. Rani does not know what she is doing and keeps talking about having years of service. The lady does not even have proper equipments to use and uses broken brushes and unwashed blenders. The person ruined our event spirit. Horrible experience. Never again!

Alexa This is usually my go to salon but this visit was disappointing. I decided to get chrome and it was not impressive. Expensive & time consuming, which I was fully aware of but what I was not prepared for was for it to chip the very next day and have air bubbles and just not look nice for what I paid for them and for the time I sat there. Very disappointed and now rethinking my next visit.

G They were super nice and accommodated me quickly for a walk in. I got my acrylic soaked off and a pedicure. I only got this manicure yesterday and my nails are broken and chipped. I paid $46 for everything and I’m just disappointed. Also, during a pedicure they normally rub your feet and all I got was like literally a fist bump to my foot so idk the experience wasn’t all that great and not worth the money I spent.

Krystal I absolutely loved my experience at the Diva Lab. The nail tech and also owner Ty was so personable and warm. I was getting a gel french pedicure and it came out wonderful. All the lines were the same thickness and I loved the pink shade she recommended for my skin tone. She is very serious about the cleaniless of the establishment and is appointment only which I liked a lot. In these covid times you dont want that many people around anyway. I already made an appointment for my husband to have his nails groomed and refered my girlfriend who is looking for a nail tech to service her for her wedding. Also she uses vegan products that are formaldehyde free! I was so happy to find a new place to get my nails done on a regular basis and the cherry on top is that its a black owned business.

dianna ruiz This is my second time and the first I got a French nails. The end product look so square and wide at the end. It looked like French New Jersey wide thick nails. My second experience got single color powder nails and again made them super thick. Had them fill down so much powder is was insane. There looked okay. They added the suv too coat and made them loook sooooo thick again. I CAN NOT go back. I told them and they excuse is that too thin would break. I have had my nails down powder and thin where it looks like gel nail polish or regular manicure and they last. They clearly are still new novice nails techs. And don’t buff as much too get a smooth product but rather mask it with more top coat. Last time they get my Money

Emma Jenal They gave me a horrible pedicure that started with the man doing it slicing his hand while scrubing my feet, he barely covered it and proceeded to do my toes with an open wound, a patch of blood on his hand and no gloves. I payed and got to my car when I realized that my pedicure looked so bad. There was polish all around my cuticles and skin. I went back inside to tell the lady I would like my money back and how unsanitary and unsafe it was that he just did all that after cutting himself and then not putting on gloves. She didn’t apologize at all just told me to follow her to the chair where I thought she was going to clean it up, but she aggressively removed all the polish. So I completely wasted my time and left with nothing after a completely unsanitary and poor experience.

Ashley J I made my appointment for 5:30pm, got there a little earlier around 5:15 and there were two ladies working on the same customer. I was abruptly told to pick a color and to go sit by the waiting area. I had gel so why wasn’t that wrapped with the cotton ball with acetone and foil? I didn’t want anyone to rush, grind my nail down, and cut me. I was waiting until after 5:30, wasn’t acknowledged, found another salon nearby and just left.

Aroos Shafi I got a dip powder manicure and regular pedicure. Make no mistake - these ladies are phenomenal. The service was amazing and my dip powder has never lasted so long! The reason I knocked off the stars and wont be going back is that they charged me some tax that Ive never been charged at any other nail salon in the area and this was not charged to the person who paid before me. I was a walk-in and was the last customer there although not the last one to walk in. They turned off the air conditioning before closing time (it was a miserably hot day). As mentioned before - i was a walk-in, but I arrived about 1.25 hours before closing so its not like I was showing up 30 min before closing requesting something that would take 1 hour. Also, I realized I was walking in without an appointment so I asked if they could take me and it was ok if they couldnt. So Im not sure why I was charged this mysterious tax and why the AC was turned off. Im happy to change my rating if others verify that they were charged a tax.

Nim Singh Decided to try this salon since it’s brand new. Exceptionally clean and a good variety of color choices. Got a pedicure and full set manicure. Their attention to detail and professionalism is amazing! I didn’t feel rushed and really felt like they were willing to spend the extra time to give me exactly what I needed and wanted. Rebecca Rogak I came in as a first time customer to Sun Nails since I recently moved nearby. I always get a sculpted gel manicure, and my nails were admittedly quite grown out between appointments. Part of the reason is because I usually do not like the process of a sculpted gel manicure because my natural nails are thin and sensitive. However the male tech who did my manicure (didnt catch/recall his name, Im sorry!) did an AMAZING job. There was 0 discomfort. My cuticles looked and felt PERFECT afterward; no redness or over clipping. Very attentive to detail. I asked for a blue cat eye nail polish, short but pointy shape, and they came out absolutely fabulous. I also got a regular pedicure and the tech was also very attentive to detail and was kind. Everyone there was friendly. This will definitely be my new salon.

Hilary G. Some of the nicest people who always do a great job on my and my family members’ nails! They stand behind their services and are easy to talk to and do business with. The owner Jay is very accommodating and everyone makes each experience a relaxing and easy one. I tend to get powder manicures that last for weeks and their entire location is kept clean and sanitary. Kiana Very disappointed considering all the good reviews. Place is beautiful and nice and clean. They also offer refreshments which made me feel at home. However, My healthy nails all cracked after one service at this salon. Months of nail growth down the drain within three days of my appointment. I’ve been doing Russian Manicures since January and never experienced cracks, and they typically last me 4-5 weeks. I came to my appointment with a Russian manicure that was 5 weeks old, no lifting or cracks. I always do regular gel, so this time was no different. They did offer a $10 refund, which i appreciated but i don’t think that was enough considering my nails were over $100. There are several stylists in this salon so perhaps it was just who I went to. Sad to have to start my nail growth journey all over due to one appointment. Pictures below show my nails a week after my service. Additionally i have hairline cracks on every nail that may not be visible in photos. Hairline crack spread and then the nail breaks. Besides that they have many color options and different skill levels based on your budget. And location is easily accessible.

Other than being a little confusing to find when I first got there, I’m glad I came across this place. Natasha did my manicure for my birthday celebration and it came out absolutely perfect! Marilena Paravalos I have been coming to Magic Nails for years and was happy, up until yesterday! BEWARE, ALL STAFF HAVE CHANGED FOR THE WORSE! "Grand Opening" under new owner/management. Seems to be the deal about every year or 2, but new staff are horrible. Im so sorry to be writing this review as Ive been happy coming here for the past few years. I usually get a spa pedi, and powder or gel manicure. One staff said it was her first time doing nails! This should have been my first red flag, but I gave them a chance. Pedicure was awful. Callus remover was forgotten as part of the spa pedi until another colleague told them to look at the chart for everything that was part of the package. Massage was non-existent. They completely forgot to do the paraffin, but after seeing the awful paint job on my toes, I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I chose a sheer shimmer color to go over the color on my toes and corners were missed big time on both big toes. I didnt notice it until in natural light, and when I did notice, I said to myself, "whats the point of going back?", it would have just been messed up more. The manager did my gel manicure. I assume she could tell by the comments and constant "ouch"s I gave during the scraping after callus remover, that I wasnt going to get my hands done. I asked if it was her first day too, she confidently said she has been doing nails for 17 years. So I sat down for my gel manicure. I saw her photo on the license posted for the salon and hope that it meant something. Boy was I wrong. Gel polish on my cuticles! I had to point out every overflow of polish before curing each time under the lamp. Same for the topcoat. Way too much was put on and this overflowed onto my cuticles and UNDER my nails. I pointed it out and she just cut the excess with a cuticle clipper and tried to use a file to buff it off my skin. This is the last time Im walking into the salon. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service.

Christine Cook I went here 4 days ago for a powder gel manicure on a break from work. First, I want to say the women here were incredibly nice. However, I was also incredibly disappointed with the service. After 2 days, my nails started chipping. Now, 4 days later, they are almost all chipped. I get gel manicures regularly and this has never happened before. They also did my powder gel manicure in 30 minutes. I have never had one that quick before. Obviously, a step must have been skipped because the quality is just not there. It looks like I got a $10 regular manicure not a $50 powder gel. This isn’t near my house or on my way home, so I can’t go there and have them fix it. Now, I need to go get another gel manicure somewhere else to fix this mess. My nails are also cracking and breaking. Normally, after a powder gel manicure my nails start growing because they are so protected. This is not the case.

She shaped my nails, pushed back and cut my cuticles (which most do not), and was all around just a great person to hang out with for 45 minutes! I have stubby nails which tends to make a difficult task when doing powder nails, but she kept them nice and thin! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking!

I have never spent that much in my life on these 3 things. I usually get a gel manicure & regular pedicure; I got a regular pedicure in the morning around 10 am; later in the evening, I put on socks, which ruined my pedicure. So I went back to ask them to fix it, and the lady fixed it and used the fan to make sure my toes dried up; the next day, I put on flats, and my pedicure was again ruined. Not wasting my time and money going to this place in the future!

Anne La Horrible place. Only the guy speaks English. Only two licenses displayed. Too much money. Only the older women does designs. Two younger women do gel. All of the other 5-7 people do regular manicure with bumps or bubbles and dont speak English. So you come in with long nails and leave with short nails, you want square, they do oval, you want oval, they do round. They take care of you too quickly and dont even give you a nice hand massage or shoulder rub anymore.

I typically see Yuki for a UV fill in but I have gone to other nail technicians such as Ashley, cici, Helen, Lina. All the workers there are great. I get back massages, lash extensions and pedicures as well!

Monica Reis - Fernandes Came here for many years and referred they to many. I was mostly happy with the job they did until two weeks ago when they curled and tinted my eyelashes. They kept it on my eyes for too long, my eyelids were burning, swollen and bleeding and my eyelashes were fried. They knew they did not do it right because they kept putting a wet napkin over my eyes and said they would only charge $50 not full price which was $80. I paid it and left but I was really upset. Later on that day my eyelashes and eyelids looked so much worst, I cried especially since I was leaving for Europe the next day. I called and told them that they really need to be careful doing this to customers and that I shouldn’t have been charged. Their response was ok ok and then hung up. I know things happen and the lady who did it was a nice lady but it’s about the way they handled it. They lost my business unfortunately.

Luminosity Happy Beauty Salon is my go-to spot for nails, and for good reason! The entire staff is not only friendly but also incredibly quick and skilled at what they do. Wendy, in particular, has become my favorite; shes truly one of the best nail technicians Ive ever come across. The salons cleanliness is always top-notch, from the nail stations to the restroom. Its clear that they take pride in maintaining a clean and inviting environment for their clients. Plus, the relaxing music they play in the background adds to the overall ambiance, making it a truly enjoyable experience. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my nails!

Gia Gambino I went there to get a pedicure, and the young kid did not know what he was doing. I also begged for someone else and asked if they can help cut my nail a little shorter because it was hurting me not only did they embarrass me and started laughing to the point that other clients were laughing, but they did not do anything to the nail and the manager that took over kept cutting my skin to the point that it is now raw bleeding and it hurts. I left in more pain than I was in..horrible experience. Please do not come here they only care about money and tips and doing a half fast job. They do not even do a good job at all.

Jessica Santo I was unhappy with my local nail place, so I decided to try V Spa, which is a short walk from my office. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The tech (I think her name was Na Na) did a GREAT job on my powder gel mani and was so sweet. Strangely, about 2 hours after I got home, the powder chipped when I was opening a container. I went back the next day on my lunch break to have it fixed, and it was corrected quickly (by Gigi) and no questions asked. The staff remembered by name from the day before. Ive never had this level of service at a nail salon before. I will come back again and again. Thank you!

It wasnt busy at all, they only had one customer. My girlfriend went first, she was really rough on her and when she was done it looked like she didnt even do much of anything. When I asked to do mine after, they started debating on who had to do it when there was still only that one customer. It felt super weird but I didnt want my girlfriend to be the only one getting it done. I felt she tried to rush me out of there & she completely missed one side. I dont know how they are with nails but my girlfriend will never find out because we will never go there again

Avi Kalra Owner is a scam artist. Constantly asking for more money on her services. Went in for tips and she tried to convince me out of it and just do a regular manicure but was still going to charge me $35 because i had asked for almond shape?? Who charges an extra $27 because of a shape?? When i told her no and that i wanted the tips she told me that she would still have to charge me more than whats listed on the menu because they were "longer" than usual. They were not. Happened a couple of times where she randomly asks for more money mid-service. Thought that might be normal until i switched salons and then realized that it is not. Avoid Sue, shell wait until your midservice and cant get off the table to tell you that shes going to have to charge more money because you did "xyz." Really ridiculous.

Yeah, because Im paying $50 for a fill-in. I also asked how much for French design, she said $15 more. I told her the sign said $10. Anyway, I got my French design. I didnt tip. $60 for this. I didnt really like it. I couldnt relax because she kept talking. And I just got off from work. No one was in there. The following week my nails started coming off. I didnt go back. I just crazy glued them back on. My first and last time there.

Saturday STEAM The salon is nice, clean, and airy. They do need to work on their customer service. I’ve had nail workers who were kind and helpful and others who had a bad attitude and couldnt be bothered to do a careful job. A worker with a name starting with “L” thought it would be okay to talk trash about me in Korean to the lady at the front counter. What she didn’t know is I understand Korean and can speak it at a basic level. Work on being kinder to your customers!

Manager is awesome I think her name is Kelly and Jenny did an amazing gel french mani and french pedi I like it thick and she accommodated.. they do a number of services massage eyelashes eyebrow tinting facials and prices are very fair. Inside is very big, clean, neat and soothing. Will def be going back. "-)

Kaitlin Gould Got an SNS manicure (powder dip, which is supposed to last two weeks) and it lasted for about 2 days before it started to chip. I went back to have the first chipped nail fixed, and waited about a half hour to be taken care of. Its been 3 days since I went back and 4 more nails are chipped significantly... to the point where the entire manicure needs to be redone. Also, when I left the salon the first time, you would think that a child painted my nails. The powder was everywhere (see pics). They started trying to pick it off with one of the tools, but I asked that they stop because they were literally pulling my skin off and it hurt. The first time I ever went, I was charged for a massage that I did not ask for. This place is the worst.

karen jin Honestly love this place. Ever since the change of owner it’s been just perfect and amazing. Kelly, the new owner, really outdid herself. She brought in over hundreds of colors. She really takes her time to make each set perfect. I’ve tried multiple nail salons around this neighborhood and nothing compares to her work. The pedicures are excellent. They use disposable items for each pedicure and cleans up after each costumer. The store is overall so calm and clean. The prices are reasonable and you won’t receive this type or service anywhere else without paying ridiculously high prices. And to top it all off, they can do any trendy nails you see on tiktok ( the cherry on top for me personally). And the sets last a long time. For me personally any tips or gel fall off after the third day but here they last for weeks. Finally a shop where the nails last enough for me to get a fill.

Jeanlyn States Very poor experience. Vivi acts like your not there and takes other customers before helping those with an appointment. The quickest pedicure ever. No massage. No customer service skills. It seems the owner has a difficult time communicating with her customers and she is uncaring and rude. She can only see dollar signs with everyone who comes through her door. She doesn’t care if she has the ability to provide quality services in a reasonable amount of time or not.

Ive been going for a while and have gotten 2 injuries from this place the first time should have been my warning but I went back and this time I had to have a surgical procedure done by a podiatrist to fix what they did. Also theyre not clean. My toes were bleeding alot and she just used a rag wipe my blood off the tools she was using which are not fresh tools. My first injury here they gave me a new guy who scrubbed my feet until the skin was raw and I couldnt walk the next day. My friend told me to go tell them and they gave me an 80 dollar gift card since they cant do refunds and told me to ask for a girl next time because I have "baby feet" and thats why I got hurt. The second time I went back I got a girl and it was actually better so I trusted them again. Big mistake. I got a different woman and she was cutting my nails and started cutting deep into the sides. my toes were painted white and she kept having to wipe off the blood. Becuase of her I grew infected ingrown nails and had to see a podiatrist who had to preform a painful procedure for this.

Michelle Alyssa I got an acrylic gel manicure done here last… one of the nails had chipped off so I went in at 730 (they close at 8) to ask them to fix it. They said “no we are closed,” I explained it was only the one nail and I had been there last week. They insisted that they were closed (even though they were open for another half an hour) and would not fix my nail. I wasn’t happy with the manicure to begin with, will not be returning.

Nicole Compito UPDATE TO REVIEW: this place is different every time I come in. The cleanliness of tools is the very first thing I notice. Packets of sterilized tools no longer seem to be used. The last time I was here, I requested a specific tech, was told I could have her, but when I came in they said they called me to tell me she wasn’t here—no phone call or message was received. With the amount of nail salons in this area, I see no reason to return here.

Kristina Radeva I gave this place a one star because I have my nail follicules badly hurt after I went there on Saturday. Also, I sat down to do a pedicure spa and a gell powder manicure and I had very, very little left of some old color left on some of the tips of my toes and they said they will charge me $10 extra for removing it. No other place has done this before, and I don’t think in my case was a fair judgment. Anyway, at least the guy who did the pedicure did a great leg massage. Another lady gave me the mani. As for that - my folicules are still very red, have some blood marks/scars left and do hurt when I touch some things (like when I squeezed lemon on my hands yesterday). These are some picures and bear in mind - this is already 3 days after. I still tipped them and everything; at least the guy deserved it.

We live in another country but come there frequently. When I called a man named Chone answered and when I asked for a credit for this he said “no you have to come in” I explained that we don’t live there so can not come right now” his response was “that’s not my problem” and was extremely unhelpful. 70.00 set of nails that lasted 3 days. Came home to my county to fix them and they said “what a horrible job”. I would not recommend this place.

Priya Patel Not that great. They use same tools on guests without cleaning. I saw them use the same filer on me, then on a young girl that looked like she had some type of fungus (or could’ve been just discolored toe nails) unsure. Either way used the same tool. My pedicure has bubbles in It and the top coat on the sides of my skin. They also push way too hard for you to so the spa pedicure instead. I guess you get what you pay for.

Daniella Shondra I was so surprised to find a place thats close to home, reasonably priced, next to a hair salon and clothing store AND so lovely. On Willis, a street of back to back nail salons this really stands out for its size alone! Clean and hygiene are my priority and this is spot on. The place, stations are nice and near and technicians are well groomed. What I love about this place is how big it is and I would say even tasteful. James, a handsome man in glasses, did my pedicure to perfection. A varied menu of treatments are available and al affordably priced, and still get a full spa feel. Plenty of colores on the carousel to choose from and gels has all the latest nail fantasies. I dont use any of those chems on myself but I can appreciate they exist. My mani pedi was $28 with $10 add on was a bargain. My new tootsie go to!

Lucky Charm Ive been coming here for over 1 year. Sometimes I call with last minute appointment and Im siesta for in within my schedule. The staff are always professional and accommodating. Gel pedicure and dry drill manicure are simply amazing... You cant go wrong here...

Sofia This place is a joke too many red flags ! I called at 1:55 pm on a Saturday to ask if they would honor a Groupon on a weekend and she told me I could come in and asked for my name.. cool, I told her I’d be there in 15 mins, when I get there they were acting confused like I didn’t just call. When u get into this empty salon, which I know understand why, they ask if they can take a lunch break, but they knew I was coming and could have told me to come later so that really blew me. So they put me in the chair and tell me it’s going to be and extra $20 to take off my gel and put new gel again and I’ve never had to pay for the removal.. After having my toes soak to the point that water turned cold she starts filing and cutting my toes THEN goes to cut and file the girl next to me toes because the person working on her didn’t know how to do it.. I’m completely mind blown and have never experienced this. So I’m waiting again, water turns cold yet another time.. she then goes and switches with now the second “manicurist” because she also doesn’t know how to cut and file. So now I’m stuck with a completely different person and the third client gets to go with the only competent manicurist, crazy! I am fortunate to know Spanish so I was able to communicate with them but I feel terrible for people who may not understand. On top of that there was a damn fly I was swatting during my entire pedicure. I hoped for a relaxing nail experience and it was unfortunate that JV Style Spa & Nails did not deliver that.

fanta Service is super bad they are very slow i say here for 4 hours and what i wanted was nothing special. They dont focus on one client EVEN THO there was only 2 other clients besides me and 3 workers. Very slow and didnt even start painting my nails for a whole hour after i asked because all of them were focusing on another client. AND tried to make me pay $300. Horrible place do NOT come here if you wanna save your time and money

J S Very nice people BUT complete WASTE of money. Did my nails Saturday morning and by Sunday evening the acrylic nails came off. It didn’t even hurt when they popped off. Lasted ONE day ! I noticed the products they used were different than they used before. Pedicure is trash too I have polish on my skin and it looks like a toddler did it. A waste of $85.

A. Mendis Visited on a Wednesday night, an hour before closing. I had a Groupon deal. The service was rushed, staff stoic. Won’t return, my cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding during both my mani and pedi. The gel mani chipped after 6 days too.

Olivia Papandreou I’ve only been to this salon a couple of times since they went under new owners, and my visit today will be the last. The older lady with the shorter bob-cut hair did my nails and with the way she did them, you would think she got her cosmetology license yesterday, or maybe doesn’t have one at all. I got powder gel with a coffin shape and matte finish and she messed up horribly. The end result was so bulky and thick and the shape was basically gone, and she hardly filed them to try and shape/fix them after I told her they needed to be filed down. She also did not fix my cuticle when she cut it too much and my finger started bleeding. Didn’t even acknowledge it. My finger was still bleeding when I got home. Rita looked at my nails when she was “finished”, and basically redid my entire manicure for me. They looked 10000x better but if that other lady was expecting me to pay full price for the horrible job she did, she’s sadly mistaken. Didn’t even tip her. The equipment they use also looked very dirty and unsanitary. Rita did a great job fixing my nails up, but I will not be coming back here.

Daisy Tlaczani I’ve come to this salon twice for regular pedicures and I feel like they’ve done an excellent job both times i’ve come. Both times, I walked in without appointments and I was lucky enough to get accommodated. I’ve been provided service by Tina and Nina. I liked how gently they worked on me and how they provided a small massage after my service while my pedicure dried. The salon is large and clean, it’s pricey for a pedicure but it’s worth getting the good service. I will be coming back ☺️

Donna Bedasee I visited Paint Nails and Spa for a manicure and pedicure but was disappointed with the overall experience. I opted for the Brown Sugar Spa pedicure, expecting a relaxing and thorough service. However, the experience felt rushed from the start. The manager started with me and appeared hurried, which was reflected in the service—there was barely any hot water during the soak, my heel was filed for no more than 30 seconds, and the entire process felt incomplete. Even the paraffin treatment was wrapped up too quickly to be effective. Due to this rushed service, I ultimately decided to forgo my manicure and am now heading to another salon to have it completed. That said, Kiki was the one bright spot of my visit. She took the time to ensure I was happy with my nail color, despite my having chosen it myself, which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, she was attentive to the timing of my massage, showing me the clock to confirm I received the full 10 minutes. Her attention to detail and customer care were the only redeeming aspects of my appointment.

Sara S3sha I would give this salon 0 stars if I could. The staff constantly bullies clients to upgrade services or add on more services. I had a mani and pedi done, was rushed and done so poorly. I left the salon with toenails that were clipped BENT, the polish was streaky and see through on some of my nails because some were painted with 2 coats and some had 3 coats of polish. The manicure lasted me all of 3 hours until they all chipped. I should have known it was going to be a bad experience because another girl was complaining about her manicure as well. AND TO TOP IT OFF, they insist that you give a tip. There are signs in the salon saying “tip is mandatory in cash”. I always thought tips were at the consumers discretion for when you’re happy with a service. Here I am paying for poor service and tipping the staff for providing me with poor service too. They also refuse to take AMEX (wonder why?)

Victoria Constantinescu Do not recommend this place. At all. I spent $50 on dip powder nails that were done incorrectly. Dip powder should not have a top coat that requires UV light. Less than a day later, the top clear coat has peeled off because they didn’t have the proper top coat for powder manicure. Complete waste of my money.

Nicki Stephen I went to Diva’s Nails for a gel manicure on 05/03/2022 and it was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a nail salon. The nail tech named Sandra cut four of my fingers as she was cleaning my cuticles. There was so much blood and she kept on using the same cotton dipped in alcohol for all four fingers to clean up the blood. She was trying to not make Jenny (the owner) see. After a while of trying to make the bleeding stop, I got up and went to Jenny and asked her if she has anything to stop the bleeding. She said they have a dropper and brushed it off to another employee. I walked over to the employee she was directing to get the dropper and she came back with bandaids. At this point, I told them that I don’t want to continue the manicure and I put three bandaids on my fingers. She completely ruined my cuticles and I will not be returning.

I got pink powder gel and they came out great! I used to go to the Muses Nails in St. James, and when they suggested Muse Nails in Mineola (since I have moved) I needed to give them a try! Already booked my next appointment!

Tee Ann Got my nails done last Monday. It is now Tuesday and two of my nails already broke! I paid way too much for these to break so easily. Got an acrylic full set and gel polish on top. Had to glue it on back myself. Disappointed.

Dyanne Cadavid I went to get my nails done at this place because my girl went on vacation I’m extremely furious about this job. 70 dollars to get powdered and it’s a complete disaster the worst manicure of my life when the person I go to regularly does the same to me for 38 dollars. Apart from everything I had to put up with one of them in front of me eating snot every two minutes please go to the bathroom. !! I HAVEN’T EVEN BEEN TWO HOURS AND THEY’RE ALREADY PEELING OFF, WHAT A MESS!!

Teneka Robinson A complete and utter disappointment! I went in today to have a UV gel set removed, as I was experiencing lifting from my natural nails. Being that I had some considerable length, I anticipated that it would be an easy process and planned to get a gel manicure as a final service. For context, I had the UV gel extension set done here and was satisfied with the result. I was a bit taken aback when the technician servicing me said that UV gel doesn’t soak off and proceeded to electric file my nails. I figured that once the shiny top layer was removed, I would suggest soaking with acetone. The technician said it could not be done. At this point, my nails were already haphazardly cut down and looked horrible. Against my better judgment, I allowed him to electric file down the UV gel until there was a thin layer remaining. I was beyond livid at this point. What was most disturbing were the comments being exchanged as I was sitting there. Asian nail salons should not assume that because they speak another language that their clientele would not understand. There are some of us that do! This salon needs to work on having the quality of its services mirror the ambience it exudes.

Jae Jasmin Please be careful going here. Ive been going for a while and have gotten 2 injuries from this place the first time should have been my warning but I went back and this time I had to have a surgical procedure done by a podiatrist to fix what they did. Also theyre not clean. My toes were bleeding alot and she just used a rag wipe my blood off the tools she was using which are not fresh tools. My first injury here they gave me a new guy who scrubbed my feet until the skin was raw and I couldnt walk the next day. My friend told me to go tell them and they gave me an 80 dollar gift card since they cant do refunds and told me to ask for a girl next time because I have "baby feet" and thats why I got hurt. The second time I went back I got a girl and it was actually better so I trusted them again. Big mistake. I got a different woman and she was cutting my nails and started cutting deep into the sides. my toes were painted white and she kept having to wipe off the blood. Becuase of her I grew infected ingrown nails and had to see a podiatrist who had to preform a painful procedure for this.

Cindy Labrador I have been to this salon twice and was recommended by a friend. Both times I made an appointment and was taken on time, with no wait. My nail tech Kai was great each time. I got gel tips and am very pleased with the outcome. He listened and shaped the nails like I asked and did not make them thick like most places. He was very pleasant and played relaxing music as he worked on my nails. The price was also decent. Would definitely recommend Kai!
