sigal israeli I went inside this nail salon and quinne the girl start talking bad about me in a different language, and I ask her nicely not to speck in a different language because I feel like she talking bad about me then I ask her to file my nails Squre and round on the corner , she make all of them round , and was so not unprofessional with me , I tell her all my nails look crooked . And not nice . She didnot really care . And left the table . Never come back there again . And also not recommended to anyone .

Angela Marie First time at Colome and it was a great experience. I saw yoyobaby and she was amazing. Friendly, nice and didn’t rush. She did a great powder dip extension and pedicure was fabulous. The salon is also very clean, nice decor and calming. Would highly recommend!

Carina Fagiani Nails and spa by patty is hands down the best nail salon ive been to in this neighborhood. I had Mery and she did such a good job and was sooo fast! This space is CLEAN and the staff was so accommodating which was awesome because i work in the area and needed to be out in an hour. Got gel on both my hands and feet in 60 minutes on the dot, incredible!! Will definitely be back

Nastasha Walker I havent gotten my nails done in a good 2 years so I was skeptical about everywhere that I saw until I happened to come across Barry’s Beauty Bar. I loved the experience more than words can ever express. It was a warm welcome that started with an easy conversation with Shannon until Dior came in and did my nails he is a perfectionist in the art, extremely patient, funny and kind. He slayed my nails in a way I never experienced! I loved the entire process so much and will definitely be back ❤️

I really liked the place in general and how they offered massages.. only thing I didn’t like was my nail job, I usually go to all about nails which is great but I haven’t been able to get in there this week because They have been busy and I haven’t been able to make appts that far in advanced because I’ve also been busy.. so I tried this place, it’s not terrible, just not as careful with my gel polish as I’m used to and just rushed and sloppy, so of course it’s going to bother me seeing this hardened gel in the creases of my nails/cuticles even though nobody else can really notice, oh and she also barely cut off any of my cuticles??I got my pedicure first and then my manicure and then a twenty minute back massage so my toes def had more than enough time to dry but my big toes completely were empty of nail polish by the time I got home.. I don’t think that’s anybody’s fault really, but just weird how that’s never happened to me before.. and I get my nails done ALOT. Maybe the lady I got was just in experienced because I wanted French at first but told her to just leave the base color once I saw how bad the French was.. just seems overhyped because of the nice place I was expecting at the least the same level of skill of where I usually go, which isn’t physically as nice as this shop, but the nail techs are so good at what they do.. this was kind of disappointing.. I will say the massage was pretty good though :)

Tee Brooks I had Gel polish removed on my feet-$3.00 gel mani with design was $36, and regular mani is $20. I had the blonde short bob woman who sits by the pedicure station. Pressured to get gel on feet but was polite and left a little polish on my fingertips. She didn’t drill my nails for too long but she gave me extremely small slippers for my pedicure. However, the gel is peeling after only two days.

Courtney James I have finally found my home! Billy & Queenie are so patient with me and I always leave feeling refreshed. There is also no overly intense acetone scent upon entering. The decor is a welcome in itself. Plus the staff can do so many different nail designs! Instagram worthy at that! 5 Stars!

Amanda Li Design I dont know why they didnt ask me to pay first. My nails were not dry enough and at least 3 of them were ruined. Also the technician was not very careful she missed so much. I might be one of the last customers but they should be so sloppy. I dont have a lot of options in this neighborhood but I will try to avoid coming back

Camille Allums Stopped in with my sisters to get our nails done with no appointments. Not only did they get us in quickly, but they have done an amazing job cultivating a relaxing and restful environment to really treat and spoil you. While my fingernails were drying, they not only did the hand and arm massage, but they massaged my shoulders and took about 3 weeks of stress out. It was so good, that while I was waiting for a chair to open up for my pedicure, I got a ten minute chair massage. I almost fell asleep. I get frequent massages, and I normally wouldnt expect a chair massage to be so amazing, but it was exceptional. I felt like a warmed ball of wax in their hands. The Milk and Honey pedicure was so relaxing and felt amazing on my skin. This is now gonna be a mandatory stop whenever I come to Brooklyn to visit my family. *As a side note, I really liked how they set timers for all the massage parts of the experience. Most places dont do that and therefore the massage times can vary dramatically from client to client and stylist to stylist, but this was a nice way to show consistency to the customer so you knew you were being treated equitably.

Akins Ridge HOA First time here via recommendation. They’ve got a customer for life. Great atmosphere, no smelling of chemicals. Alex was my nail stylist , she was great and gave a great complimentary massage.

Tokyo Flo Love this place!!! The staff is kind and the service is almost always immediate. I enjoy getting my nails done and really the overall environment. They have a lot of options in terms of colors, not big on designs though.

Can Dan I’ve been frequenting this establishment for several months. The staff is friendly, space is clean, and the environment is relaxing and welcoming. I usually get a gel manicure with a regular manicure. What I initially thought was a once in a while mishap, has become the normal experience. While my pedicures are lasting the acceptable timeframe, I’ve noticed my gel manicures are barely making it to a week. I visited on NYE and within a few days, one nail’s polish began to lift and peel. Now it’s 6days later, and 3 nails have peeled, with a few others that have nail polish lifting as well. For the price, this should not be happening. This is what I would expect for a regular manicure. I must note I use gloves to wash dishes (even used gloves to wash my child’s hair over the weekend). However, the polish still isn’t lasting. I really do love this place, but I cannot justify wasting money :(

Lara Pham Not sure about all these bad reviews but I’ve been coming here for 3 years and my gels always look amazing and they last up to 3 weeks! I’ve recommended this place to so many people. Everyone is nice and respectful. Even though they don’t do designs I sometimes ask if they can and they always try to accommodate. I have been going to Tina and she’s great!! For those reviewers who say that these technicians are rude, do you speak to them with respect? I’ve seen and heard some rude people in here, please remember they are human too and deserve to be spoken to with respect.

Emily I hate to rate poorly but I just got the most mediocre walk in pedicure of my life here. Bare minimum, low effort pedicure. Had to ask to scrub my feet more and harder. My feet were still wet when she tried to slip my sandals on to start painting, had to ask for a towel to dry my feet. The included shoulder massage at the end of the service should just not be offered due to how no effort was put in. Glad it lasted all of 15 seconds lol. I could have done a way better job at home, so I am extremely disappointed that I paid for this service. I hope my polish lasts a week for an event. They offer a 10% discount if you pay in cash. I will not be returning.

Ann Marie I was hoping around different nail salons until I found Cindy. She gives exceptional service and quality work. I love that you make an appointment, I never have to wait and I am never rushed. The salon used a lot more eco friendly product and stays away from harsh chemicals. But still has a massive selection of colors. Cindy is experienced and creative. I love coming to do my nails and would absolutely recommend it.

Alyssa Huang I recommend her to all my friends! Cindy is a passionate and ethical nail tech who takes the time to properly do your nails. Cindy is respectful and offers her artistic opinion when asked, and will challenge herself to be creative with her nail art. She takes walk ins, but I recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time so you don’t have to wait. Also, she only offers gel, no acrylics!

Cindy did my nails and they turned out amazing! I did French nails with a glitter line on top and she told me everything she thought about my nails and about my reference picture. She was very helpful. I paid about $96(including tax and tip) without I believe it was 85$(for fake nails + gel + design).

Yu Li Ya Updated Review: Unfortunately, after many years of being a loyal customer and recommending this place, I can no longer in good consciousness give it a 5 star review, as the place has changed in their approach to cleanliness and customer service. When I first discovered this salon, I was impressed with how much attention was paid to hygiene. Before using tools, the nail techs would wipe them with alcohol pads to make sure theyre thoroughly disinfected. Unfortunately, this practice has since been abandoned, and the tools simply get placed in the sterilization machine, but given the number of customers, I dont think that proper amount of time passes for the sterilization to take place. In addition, the tools are stocked up on top of one another instead of being laid flat. The last time I received a pedicure, my nail got infected with fungus, which is proving very difficult to treat. The nail techs also used to be very consistent in their quality of service. Now, some seem to be more qualified and knowledgeable than others. The nail techs also stopped paying much attention to the customer service and often fail to ask if you want a massage setting to be turned on on your pedicure chair - its a small thing, but very telling of the declining customer satisfaction care. Also, the products seemed to be more high-end before, while now they seem to go for cheaper versions. The nail polishes are diluted with acetone, which leads to yellowing of the nails and them turning dry and brittle. The prices are still very reasonable and the owner - Rita - is lovely and friendly. I just wish they went back to their original quality of care. Its not the worst place as far as Asian salons go, but unfortunately, it is no longer the best. Original Review: The place does not offer much in terms of nail enhancements or designs, so if you are looking for nail art, I wouldnt recommend this salon. However, if you are looking for the best natural nail care, such as manicure and pedicure, this place is amazing and very clean! Their pedicure is by far the best Ive gotten in Brooklyn! I strongly recommend their special SPA pedicures, as they include skin treatments and a 10-minute massage. My personal favorite is the crystal gel pedicure. Rita, the owner, is very attentive and helpful and always remembers her customers preferences.

I’m only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they are not very considerate of the customer’s time. There is no reason that I should have to sit here and wait 3-4 hours to get my nails done when only 2 people are ahead of me EVERY month that I come here.

Deneese Ortiz Manicure was well done and it lasts about 3 weeks if Im pushing it between manicures. I always get compliments on their work. Prices are also reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Vicki Minervino I’ve gotten tips/gel x at WellZen done a few times and after this last set, it will be my last. Less than two weeks ago, when I got my last set done, it was genuinely painful when they were applying the glue under the UV light to the point where I was uncomfortaWhile they can be quick to get you in, my experience with the manager has always been lack luster when she does my nails and the last set I had I felt like I was coaching as to what an almond tip should be. This last time I got gel X after being told they were stronger than tips and before two weeks was up, I’ve lost 8/10 nail tips from pulling at the nail bed or getting caught and ripping off. I always get compliments on my nails but after more than a few times of being underwhelmed with the service and now not even having a $100 set last two weeks with good maintenance, it’s time to move on from WellZen.

Jack Healy I’ve been to WellZen a number of times over the years and have usually had a pretty good experience. The atmosphere is the best out of most other salons in the neighborhood. I went in about three weeks ago for a manicure-pedicure and it seemed busier than I’d ever seen it. I forget why exactly, but I remember having the suspicion that the nail tech was using an already dirty cuticle trimmer. Within the next week, I developed an extremely painful paronychia (cuticle infection) on my left pointer finger that came close to requiring a trip the ER. I was prescribed two antibiotics and had to have the abscess drained, which was an excruciating experience. My finger is now on the mend, thankfully, but my cuticle is potentially permanently damaged. I myself will not be returning to WellZen (after years of visits) and I highly recommend that those who visit MAKE SURE that the employees are using clean equipment.

Johanna Trivino I was really looking forward to getting my nails done at Ruchki da Nozhki Nail Lounge based on the reviews and pictures. However, after my experience, it’s unlikely that I will return. I came in for a Russian gel manicure and asked for a lavender/pink chrome. I confirmed multiple times with the front desk that they could do this color, and they assured me they could. Once the nail tech began, I requested to have my nails cut shorter. She cut my thumbs much shorter than the other fingers, creating a visible discrepancy. I asked her to match the lengths, which she did. Later, I noticed that there was still blue polish from my previous manicure left on my nails. I pointed this out, and she said she would fix it but never fully removed it. As she was about to apply the chrome, she asked another tech for help, which surprised me given the salons reputation for quality designs. She seemed flustered and confused, and when she applied the chrome, it was clear instead of the lavender/pink I requested. I let her know, and she consulted another tech, who mentioned they didn’t have the color I wanted, only green. Without informing me, they proceeded to apply the green chrome, but I immediately stopped them. They then offered me a few other options, but none were what I originally wanted. During this time, my original tech began attending to a new client without any regard for me. Another tech took over but then handed me back to my original tech, who was busy with her new client. A third tech was eventually called to finish my nails. Throughout this process, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issues, and the flip-flopping of techs was frustrating. When I went to pay, I explained to the manager that I didn’t want to pay for the chrome given the experience and the lack of the color I wanted. Instead of taking responsibility, she questioned why I didn’t refuse the chrome earlier. I explained that if I had known from the start that they didn’t have the color, I would have chosen a different solid color instead of the cloudy white base. Reluctantly, she agreed not to charge me for the chrome. This salon, where the manicure costs $137 (without tip), lacks consideration and accountability. The audacity to ask for a tip after such an experience is appalling. Tips should reflect good service, which I did not receive. The salon needs to be mindful of their clients and the experiences they provide, acknowledging when they fall short and offering appropriate compensation. Entitlement will only push away future clients.

Barbara Ibarra Beautiful nail salon and experienced nail artists. I had some issues with a chrome chipping over the holidays and wasn’t able to make it in to fix them and they fixed them free of charge and were super kind and apologetic. It’s super clean and they take their time. I was here for almost two hours while my artist worked diligently on my cuticles and nail shaping. I know it sounds like a long time but she was just working to be so precise. I’ll be coming back again and again.

Lilian Takahashi I’ve been coming here for a few years but usually just for pedicures. I got a building gel refill today and it was great. Asya was attention and really understood what I wanted in my nail design. I showed her a picture and she was able to adjust colors the design based on our conversation. She did a great job with my cuticles and nail shape.

DiDi Ward I go here to get my eyebrows, pedicure and full set. The first couple of times it was fine. They do good nails. But they love to overcharge and change prices. I usually ask for straight nails instead of the curve. It’s normally free. This time however I was told it would be $5 extra. Certain technicians are rough. I left with both a cut on my finger and my toe. When I asked CoCo for a nude base on my pedicure I was told I could only have nude if I get gel. That’s weird. I usually get nude in regular polish. She put this horrible pink on my toes and when I didn’t like it. She rolled her eyes like 10 times directly in my face and charged me for a color change. The attitude was not warranted and extremely disgusting. I almost walked out. If I didn’t have graduation in a couple days I would’ve. I then decided to do white. Mind you she didn’t take the pink off just put white on top. (Was that really a color change?) The time before this the lady doing my eyebrows sneezed/coughed on me. I should’ve stopped going at this point. I spent $113 including the tip I told myself I should not have left. They do good nails but have obnoxious technicians.

Jade G do not come here. i came to get my feet done and the polish literally started chipping the next day. granted i did get regular polish because its winter time but still my feet shouldn’t be looking like i got them done 3 weeks ago when in all seriousness it hasn’t been a week yet and 4 of my toes are chipped. on top of that i got charged $30 for regular polish.. and the tech was originally trying to charge me $40.

MakeupPurgatory DO NOT COME HERE! I came in yesterday to simply get a small layer of acrylic soaked off, the price on the sign says $7 for a soak off/one nail fix. I told the nail tech that I just wanted a soak off, nothing else. She then pulls out a metro card and starts trying to take them off with the card?? It was visibly hurting me and I could see a layer of my nail being peeled off. I told her to stop and she kept trying to use the card! When I finally pulled my hand away and said they needed to be soaked off she brought me to the back. The back area was filthy, the walls and bowls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned it quite a while. She brings back the bowl with hot water and acetone(the acetone was in a metal bowl) and the water was so hot I could barely keep my fingers in the bowl. It was like she had just taken it off from the kettle and poured it in right away. About 10-15 mins later she comes over to file some of the acrylic off and had me soak them for a little longer. When that was done I went back to her station and she further filed them with an e-file. She somehow managed to both over file my nails and under file them, still leaving acrylic left on them which I unfortunately didn’t notice till I got home. She then asks me what color I wanted, to which I reminder her I was only coming in for a soak off. And now the price magically jumps to $10. I told her the sign says $7, and her and her colleague tell me that’s only if you’re getting a new set. Which I stated both when I walked in and when I sat down I was just getting a soak off. If they were planning on soaking off my nails so poorly and then putting a new set on top there’s no way they would have lasted. Now my nails are sensitive and damaged. I should have just gone to my usual spot Darling nails, they’re about 10 mins away from Grace and have a much cleaner environment and are much more professional. Don’t come here unless you want to be overcharged and left with damaged nails. I’ve included some pics that hopefully show how poorly they were done .

Perfect French shape in my opinion, and you can barely tell it’s been 3 weeks. I’m actually going to push one more week before getting them removed because they don’t get stuck in my hair or anything. This is the best salon I’ve been to in the city. Prices are very cheap compared to similar quality of service in the city. Staff is super friendly, it’s super clean, they do an amazing job. I had a soak off for 6 fingers and did a soft gel short/medium length w regular french tip and that came out to be 146, not including tip. That honestly feels like a ridiculous price but the service was genuinely good. My manicurist was Coco and she finished everything in 2 hours.

Chioma Armstrong Technically I’m giving them a 4.5 rating, but google doesn’t allow half stars. I had a woman named “Emma” and she was very meticulous with her craft, which I appreciated. She seemed to take pride and care in what she was doing and checked regularly with me if I liked how it looked. She was gentle with my hands and didn’t rush the process. It felt relaxing. The space was clean and quiet and well lit. They seem to offer a lot of other services, such as waxing and massage, but I can’t speak to those. Personally, I think a nail salon should just stick to nails but that’s only my opinion. The reason for my half star deduction is because when I told the technician I wanted a French manicure, it wasn’t made clear to me that they automatically make it a gel manicure. In my experience when at a nail salon, they ask if I’d like it to be gel or at least specify “this is gel” or something. I’d never done gel before so I had no idea what the process was like. Also, this was my first time going there, so it was a shock to me when the price came as I was expecting a regular manicure and had budgeted for something much cheaper.

My nails were 3 weeks grown out and they were just very sloppy and messy when I originally got them done 3 weeks ago at different shop. Kim was AMAZING. Her attention to detail is exactly what I’m looking for when I get my nails done. She changed my previous coffin shaped nails to almond shaped without an extra charge. She made sure I actually liked how they looked MULTIPLE times before putting on polish. She pushed my cuticles back before doing my fill (I honestly don’t think any nail tech has done that on my nails), and they are thin, strong, and natural looking as if they are my own nails. The majority of the time I get my nails done, they’re a little too thick and bumpy. She even helped me pick the right color red because the original one we both agreed was a little too orange. When applying the polish, she made sure to get around the edges of the nails and get as close to my cuticles as possible. You’d think that would be the standard at every nail salon. Everything felt very clean and I watched her take her tools out of a sterilizing machine. On top of all of that, the price was INSANELY good for NYC. I’ve had a hard time finding a nail shop that matches the prices I used to pay back home in Virginia, and also actually do a good job. In the 10 years I’ve been getting my nails done and the countless of salons I’ve been to in multiple states, this is the best my nails have ever looked.

The woman I had was painting quickly and chatting and laughing with the tech next to her, which is fine, but in doing this she was creating really uneven lines and I had to be honest a few times and just politely correct and just advocate for what I wanted. They had a few people waiting so it was clear as to why she was zooming through it, and normally im fine with a quicker experience and less spa like, but the quality of the nails was compromised to a degree I had to speak up and now say this. The man working the front came over and I had to show him my nails because she had only done one layer of the white to where the color was transparent, it was uneven, and you could see where the white streaked out of the design and she was saying she was finished. They should have more upfront about who felt confident doing french nails because I ended up having to argue and deal with a confrontation energy with the man at the front and another nail tech who was unwilling to cooperate and step in to do it when I was just simply trying to explain what I wasnt happy with. I shouldnt even have to be in a position to have to argue on a service Im treating myself on. The other nail tech did eventually step in after I had to be firm with all of them on what I needed taken care of and she then painted and simultaneously taught the one who originally was doing my nails. All three of them stood there awkwardly the rest of the time and at that point I was pissed off and just quiet. I still paid and tipped, but it was unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional.

Whoever was taking the gel off my nails began rushing because they were “getting backed up.” I picked a color that apparently was a black with a shimmer on top of it. It was supposed to be gunmetal grey. But the swatch didn’t have a number so apparently she guessed. I said something about the color being wrong and she ran for a different shimmer. Long story short I left with a totally different color than I asked for, was talked to like an idiot when I pointed out what I got vs what I wanted. She was putting on so many layers that I assumed it would eventually be correct. It wasn’t and I paid $40 for a manicure that was entirely not the color I wanted. Which I’m now stuck with for two weeks unless I want to pay again. I came here hoping to finally find a good place in the area and was sadly mistaken.

For the price charged for services, the service received should be worth the price. Peeling or shattered polish. But thats not all. Yin Smart I have visited this place twice. I always have to wait 10-15 minutes for attention which normally will discourage me from going anywhere (I mean, that’s why I set up an appointment in the first place) but since they always good job and I’m always happy with the final result I can tolerate it. The service both times has been good, the staff is very professional and patience with me (Sometimes I can be indecisive with the colors). Would I recommend this place? Well, I walk 1.2 miles just to go to this place instead of going to a different nail salon closer to me (And GOD know there are a lot of them), so yes, I do.

Trin Jam Sandys Nail & Spa is truly a spa day experience. I walked in for a gel manicure & spa pedicure. Her salon was clean, organized & inviting. Everyone was professional. The experience was top notch as always. Best 4 hours of decompression ever. The owner asked me what I wanted & I said something bright & fun. What Sandy does is creative so I trust her creativity. We discussed the colors & design & she went to town, first we did my manicure. Then it was time for my spa pedicure, I chose the detox spa treatment. The spa pedicure with the hot stones & the massage chair just melted the stress away. My legs felt amazing & looked relaxed too. I would highly recommend the spa pedicure it costs more than a regular pedicure, but you get what you pay for. i would say to the people who want it but want to haggle on the price.....Sandys Nail & Spa is not for you.

Melina took amazing care of me, she was gentle, skilled, welcoming, and friendly with her tools and touch. Although a bit ticklish during the massage, she made sure to be wary and minimize that. I had to ask several times for her to not use the cuticle clipper. Don’t waste your money here.

Victoria St. Clair I like that upon walking in, you dont have to take a while to begin services. I went on a Thursday at 7 pm and it wasnt really busy so that was good. I had a polish change on my toes and a full set of acrylic nails. They were quick, but it didnt feel rushed. The area is clean, and the decor is nice. Even the bathroom is nice. What I didnt like is at both people I went to (toes and fingers), they continued to suggest I get services I did not want. I wanted something simple and I didnt like the pushy behavior there. The toes were not neatly done but the fingers were better. They asked me to add on more and then told me the new cost near the end of the service. Thats not even the worst part. The person who did my nails continued to jab her fingers and nails into my nails to separate my skin from my nails to get a good angle to file. She did it so deeply it cut into my skin (photo attached). Its 3 days later and it still has a full pain. That emphasis on filing the edges of my nail wasnt even worth it because the sides of my nails are missing color. Its overpriced for services that arent worth it.

Rebecca JL this has been my go to pedicure spot for years. on a few rare occasions ive a bad experience with a not great tech, but in general they do an excellent job for a very reasonable price. when my feet are jacked up (and my feet can get extremely jacked up) they get them back to an acceptable state. when my feet are already decent, they make them look incredible. i went today with jacked up feet and by the time i left they were in acceptable shape for my upcoming beach vacation. my nail tech also gave me a really nice xmas/new years gift of a big tube of korean hand and body lotion, in my favorite scent- cucumber.

Loved the relaxing massage on my legs and arms although I wish it would have lasted longer. The prices are very reasonable. Will surely be back again. Edit- taking off a star for the service I got today. Lisa was the technician, very unprofessional, talking in Chinese with her colleague about me. Very hurried and gave me a bloody finger. I waited for 40 mins for a service done halfheartedly. Teach some etiquettes to your employees.

The staff was racist, discriminatory, and shared completely inappropriate comments about my hair. The establishment is empty for a reason.

Pro tip- Make sure you pay attention Pro tip-Show pictures of exactly what you want Do this and you will have a great experience. Be patient and polite and you will receive the same in return. I do wish they were a bit more clean with the eyebrow waxing.

Cynthia McBride I asked the nail tech to use clean tools and he still used a drill bit that had someone else’s skin on it. They don’t sanitize their commonly used tools. He did not massage my foot for 10 min and Im paying $75 for the full service. My nail also chipped the very next morning because the acrylic was thin and poorly applied. Not only that but they let anyone into the shop. A homeless man was able to enter the shop, come all the way to the back where I was getting a pedicure, grab my shoe and smell it and everyone laughed. The nail tech kept saying are you sure you don’t know him? It was very insulting and unprofessional. Can’t wait to find a better shop in my neighborhood.

Cinelli I had a fantastic experience at Honey Nails Salon! It was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be back. My cousin recommended the salon to me, and Im glad that I decided to try it out. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. I got a gel mani and pedi, and my technician, Joy, was incredibly professional and helpful. Her work is very neat and she made sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with the results. I really appreciated that she gave me a little dish to place my rings when she applied lotion to my hands. I was grateful for the attention to detail and making sure that i had the best experience possible.

Heather Beware they no longer use dust collectors/fans when doing manicures, which is so bad for everyones health. To Honey Nails, please start using these again for a better customer experience and for health purposes, or at least give your customers masks too. Ive come here for 4+ months and at the start of my experience they were using them, but not for the past 2~ months. Will not be returning unfortunately.

Alysha Jones I got a mani/pedi here and the same night my nail polish started chipping. I wasn’t able to get them fixed for a few days, and during that time a few of them broke. They did fix it for free, but I spent 4 1/2 hours total there between the first and second visit. It was very expensive to have it mess up so quickly. I will not be returning.

Toni Super disappointing experience. It always looked so nice from the outside but that was not my experience. The receptionist was pleasant but my nail tech was rude. From looking irritated because I wouldn’t go with her recommendation and jerking my fingers around to her hitting my skin multiple times with the tools, causing my fingers to be in pain that I have never experienced before due to my skin being nicked so many times. My nails look pretty from the outside but there was excess glue that I asked for her to clean up … she went through it but it was still there. I had to clean it myself and I left with extra polish around my nails. It looks nice inside, but if you go you better pray you get a nail tech who is not trying to rush you out (although they were not busy and I went 3 hours before closing) and who will be gentle with your nail and not just say “oh it’s your skin, sorry” every time they nick you. I recommend not coming here and trying a place that will take their time - especially when you are paying $88 for a basic dip powder set with tips and no design … it was not worth it and I will not be back. I hope the store will take this review and make adjustments needed for their future customers. P.S- this happened to me and my sister. We remained pleasant but knew that would be out first and last time.

The problem is they were so unprofessional that neither one of them knew how to do any designs.... Not even for the toes... Everything that I asked for the "nail tech" stated that she only knows how to do french design with the polish. I was so disappointed and unsatisfied they had the nerve to over charge me for what I could have done better myself at home. They also spoke too much gossip! They need training and to focus more on their job and less talk please!! Will NEVER recommend!!

Aside from the reality that its extremely dirty and gross, I walked in with a powder set, and the girl started to remove it as though it were acrylic. They dont even know the difference between one form of nail to another. Additionally, I made the terrible mistake of getting a Brazilian wax at this place. Not only did the lady not know what a Brazilian wax was, whatever they used on my body caused extreme, irritation, and a reaction that Ive never received in the more than 15 years Ive been getting Brazilian waxes. I will literally never go to this place again.

Romary Herrera Went to get my eyebrows done here when it was maybe my 6th time coming and the lady, Ruby was so distracted with her phone call she clearly made my eyebrows uneven and then acts clueless about it. Then gets annoyed that I’m asking other customers and another employee if they look okay and both of which said one is bigger than the other. Than she going to say that’s how my eyebrows are lol. Truly unprofessional and deserves zero stars. The nails however are pretty good alongwith selective employee attitudes so one star is okay. After a bunch and back and forth this was the best this lady could do. Very unpleasant with this visit. Have to try going to another lady once again. Really unlucky with my eyebrows as you can see. I’m about to start traveling back to the heights for better results. This was convenient as I work very close so I didn’t need to go out of my way. Let’s bring back A+ quality service for the money charged. Mind you this was $12.

Joanne Boursiquot AVOID KELLY AT ALL COSTS! I went to Kelly on 11/1 to fix a nail she poorly did last week Tuesday (10/22). Though my nails were weak due to the tips from long wear, the nail broke in the middle after just a week and a day, causing bleeding and pain. I waited for over an hour before she came to ask what I wanted. I told her that my nail had broken and I needed a new one. When she asked if I wanted it repaired, I said no, I needed a completely new nail since it was hanging. She then asked if I wanted a fill-in, which didn’t make sense because I had just gotten my nails done the previous week. When I calmly tried to explain, she told me to “calm down,” even though I wasn’t upset. Her attitude was aggressive, and I was shocked because I was simply explaining what had happened. I let her proceed, but she continued blaming me, saying my nail broke because my nails were weak. I just agreed to end the conversation. Then, she applied a clear gel top coat to my left hand without asking, and when I questioned if she was going to do the other hand, she said yes. After finishing, she mentioned there would be a charge for the gel top coat but that she wouldn’t charge me this time. She also lectured me about getting fill-ins more often and told me I should go to another technician. I responded with “okay” because she isn’t my regular tech, and she was the only one available. Her work was horrible: she over-filed my cuticle twice , creating a painful scab, all while being distracted and talking. I was never planning to go back to her anyway. She is rude, disrespectful, and a terrible nail technician. I can’t wait to get this awful set removed! I will be warning my family and friends about this embarrassing experience.

Pia Bhatti I have never felt so humiliated. They treated us like we were going to steal there $2 polishes. Maybe they dont have a lot of Pakistani & African American customers. They served 2 women that came in minutes after we were there and had made our presence known. They also stopped in the middle of doing our nails and made us pay before completing. Then when done one of the guys watched us until we left and sat down as soon as we left. Since when did foreigners racial profile citizens. Im very offended. Wish I could give -2 stars. And the nails aint even hitting, Ive seen better...............

Василиса Р Charged 34 $ for regular gel manicure, I went there for the first time, asked them for gel 5 dif colors for each nail, so wasn’t aware that the price was for manicure and pedicure , which I was asked during the manicure what I want for my toes, and I figured that the price was for both, but eventually they anyway charged me 34 just for manicure saying that it is because of 5 dif colores(which doesn’t make a sense) , no design, no sparkles, nothing , just a gel, RIP OFF, will never come back !!!that on the picture cost 34$

Bri Bells By far the worst nail salon Ive ever been to! I dont ever go to this nail so but I was short on time and decided to give them a try. Nail technicians are very rude and the prices are way too high and so not worth it. $21.00 for a regular pedicure. If you are around the neighborhood do not go to this nail salon. Go to Hands and feet love nail spa on Kings Hwy instead. Prices are affordable and actually WORTH the money. If I could ask for my money back I most definitely would have! Horrible!

Zulayho Moshiyeva Pedicure and manicure very badly done. Looks like someone can go surfing with all these waves on my fingers. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square but instead all of them are different lengths and shape. The manager didnt care that the girl did a bad job and made me pay before the work was even done. Then they fought over the tip. First of all you dont give a tip before the job is done and a tip is whatever the customer feels is deserved. I left $5 which was more than generous for the bad service and rude staff, but they still argued it wasnt enough. Never coming here again and telling everyone I know its a bad place.

Anna I had a very specific design I got off Instagram that I wanted done on my nails but I did not want to travel an hour into the city to get it done. I went to one other salon before landing on Angelinas. The other salon said they could not do the design, but Angelina said they could for a $15 dollar additional charge (which was in line with what I would have been charged had I gone into the city). We picked out the color and the nail tech matched the design the best she could. All in all it was great service and I was very happy with the end result. The salon is also very quiet, clean, and Covid friendly, even as we are loosening restrictions it is nice to see how well they have adapted 10/10 would recommend!

Yakub Shimunov Horrible job and rude people. They made me pay before finishing and didnt even listen to what I was saying about the job the girl was doing. Both manicure and pedicure were very sloppy and the girl cut my finger after I warned her my skin is sensitive. The finished polish is supposed to be smooth but its wavy and horribly done. Not worth the $75, could have done the same job at home with cheap CVS nail polish.

Camille Cox I have been going to Z&Y for a while, and I never had a problem until recently when I went in to get a manicure, the owner was rushing me to sit with someone that I don’t usually get my nails done with. I told here I was waiting on someone else. She then said “you have to soak off the gel.” This I know, but she then goes to say, “what’s wrong with you?”, in a rude tone. I asked her if she is talking to me she said “you can leave now, leave now,” fanning me off. I was attempting to talk to her saying “you should not talk to your customers like that and that I have been coming here for a while” but she dismissed me by walking away. Never again, will they receive my money.

annie thermidor I was weary of going here due to the poor reviews but this place answered the call when I needed my nails done last minute. I walked in during the late afternoon and was instantly seated in a chair. The place was spacious and clean. The technician I had, Suki, was very efficient and precise. She did my gel manicure in under 10mn. They had a good choice of colors. The pedicure was well executed but they were not aggressive with the calluses unless you were willing to pay more. Overall, I was very pleased with my session and would return.

Nayiba Vlogz Rush and do what they wanna do as far as making you feel like what you wanted they dont care to make the effort to create your vision. They Use regular soup to scrub and I would love if I brought my own stone scrub for my feet cause these Locals feet have all kinds of things and get the same stone used on there food God knows how they clean it to reuse.

On my way home from a fresh mani I stopped off at Refresh Nail N Spa and explained I hate my nail color if they can do something for me. Lisa was my manicurist and she hooked me up with a color I love ❤️. The staff is very sweet and pleasent and the place os very clean. I booked my next appointment with them. The place is convenient right here in Downtown Brooklyn. Why not do you shopping and get your mani and pedi?

Wioletta Wojciechowska Red nails is the design I asked for Blue nails is what I got… The design is nothing like the picture. This is not ok… no artistic skill at all. Very disappointed in design and the pedicure is not done well either, I have left over polish on my toes and cut unevenly. Low effort overall. The salon is nice but the pictures speak for themselves. Would not recommend if you’re looking for anything with designs

Mish M Nail polish never dried fully, even after sitting under the dryer for 40+ minutes. Not even a couple hours later the polish started chipping and peeling.

Annie Corenthal This is my favorite nail salon in the neighborhood. They are always so friendly and accommodating. They have a great selection of colors (in regular polish, gel, and sns) and do tips and powders perfectly. Here are my ghost nails for Halloween, an excellent reproduction from a photo I showed them. Also here are my funky chrome nails, my happy nails, and my flower power nails. Their sns always lasts for weeks without chips or separating.

alexandra jemide Got acrylics with pink French tips, had to go back a few hours after because i noticed some of the nails were different regarding the shape and the thickness of the paint. The lady argued a little but overall the nails just didn’t look good, very poorly shaped She didn’t cut my Cuticles either before starting, Please see a photo a week after. They also give you a back rub while your nails are drying which is great. Today I got a manicure and a 10 minute chair massage for under $20 and they did a great job. I will definitely keep coming!

C. Ross This is my favorite nail salon in Bushwick for several reasons. This location was previously run by a Korean family, the current owners took over in about 2014 and implemented immediate changes which dramatically improved service. If Im honest, they could stand to do a little work on the interior of the place. The paint is old and the massage chairs are run down and barely functional but what keeps me coming back is the service. Im a simple girl so I usually get a regular manicure and pedicure-no gel, stiletto or coffin shaped acrylic sets,etc. I appreciate that they look you in the eye and greet you with a smile. All of the technicians that Ive had pay exceptional attention to detail when cleaning the nail and caring for the skin. They also offer really awesome service massages at the end of your treatment for free. They are AMAZING masseuses! I recommend this place for a local no frills experience.

Heresia Hayes This establishment is beautiful and very clean. The nail technicians are kind. However, they are not excellent at their job and are very expensive in my opinion. I got my nails done, a regular mani-pedi, nothing fancy at all. It cost me $37 and that’s with the 20% off. My paint started chipping a few hours later. I came back the next day and the lady was very upset and insinuated that I did not let my nails dry long enough. The lady actually checked my nails before I left. She rubbed my nails and no paint came off. I also sat and dried my nails for 15 mins. Here I am again and she did my nails over again. I sat and dried my nails for 30 mins. I also believe they over charged me because the other women were only charged $32. I definitely want to file a complaint about this business. I am not happy and I also think I was cheated out of my money. I am really trying to find a great nail salon in Brooklyn. But so far I have been very disappointed. Pictures are of my nails from a few hours later and also of my nails the second time around. Paint still chipping away. Update: June 11, 2019 more paint is chipping away.

Anthony Parris The place looks very nice. Everything looks very clean. I had a really good tech who took her time and gave me great service. My partner is tech watch the experience and ask for money while he was still in the chair after his pedicure. She didnt even let him dry his nails under the dryer before asking for payment. I thought that was pretty rude and I feel like a two-star rating is just because of her. I wont be returning.

The woman who did my pedicure and manicure was great. She helped me choose a nail polish color. There isnt a great variety but even with that, I had a hard time choosing. The predicure was well done and j enjoyed the foot massage and leg massage. She also did a great job on my manicure. I enjoyed the massage. I will go back again!

Tina Khuro I’ve been coming here for a few months without any issues, but after seeing how customers are treated when the staff does a poor job, I feel compelled to share my experience. This business doesn’t respect its customers’ time—nail techs leave without informing clients who are already seated and waiting. Just last week, I had my nails done poorly, and they broke in less than a week. When I returned for a refund or a full new set, they refused. On top of that, they even took an extra $5 from my tip without my consent, splitting it between the two people who did my pedicure and manicure. This kind of behavior is both unprofessional and unethical. I’d rather pay a little more elsewhere for better service.

Frances Mamiye First time there for a manicure and the nail technician did a number on my finger. She was pulling harshly on cuticles and caused it to bleed and burn.

Polina Kitasova longer for them to finish. Powder gel should not take longer than 2 hours and I was there for 2 and a half. Second time I went, I had to wait a while, again. I finally get seated, I tell the woman I want powder gel, and I told her twice, and she ended doing a completely other thing. She kept cutting the nail after I showed her my preferred length, making them shorter than I wanted. The nails ended up looking terrible, the shaping was extremely crooked, the nails were going outwards, theres a literal dent in the nails, they were all uneven, and the worst part, they are fragile. After barely 3 days of having them on, one of the nails started to chip and then it broke and fell off. I call them asking to get it fixed, and she told me to come in 15 minutes. I came in 10, and was waiting for an hour to get one nail fixed. I sit down, she gives me powder gel as I requested, finally, and it ended up looking completely different than all my other ones. This nail salon does not care how your nails end up looking. They try fitting in as much people as they can just to make money because thats all they seem to care about. Do not go here unless you want to be stressed out while having atrocious nails.

P Lue Decent place to get a manicure and pedicure for an adorable price. I wish they would get liners for their pedicure stations to make it a little more sanitary. They have acrylic dividers at each station. Masks are mandatory. I would try to go at a less crowded time next time since it is a small place so having more than 6 people in there can seem a little crowded. My nail tech was nice and did a nice job on my hands and feet.

Ariana Laila Been here a couple of times and today was my last. I made an appointment for 3pm under the agreement of one person doing my mani and pedi only to get there and find out she will no longer be doing my pedicure and passed me off to someone else I had no prior experience with. She didn’t finish the other persons nails until after 4pm then she spent another almost hour and a half for a basic fill and one color polish. I showed her a picture multiple times only for her to still ask if I wanted something completely opposite. Very disappointed in the shape of my nails it was nothing of what I asked for. Very disorganized, too slow and doesn’t meet the clients expectations. Waste of half my day

They would ask me if it hurts when waxing and if I wanted to change the nail color. The environment is very comfortable and overall a nice place to get your nails done on a Sunday morning.

Steffryz I came here for tips. At first, they came out perfectly. Then she went in with the machine and filed the nail so much between the nail and cuticle that it no longer connected. Just a gap and im sure they do this to get you to come in the following week for a filling. By the time she painted them, it was horrendous! The nails were lumpy, uneven and with a gap. Dont bother with this place. They charged me 36 for nails that didnt even last a week.
