L B The lady was VERY GOOD and did my nails BEAUTIFULLY! I will keep going there. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons and this one was actually the nicest!! The lady was very nice!! My daughter wanted hers done after seeing mine and I asked the lady if she was able to do my daughter’s nails after mine and she was. She was so nice! I wish I got her name cause I only want her! So…. Wrote after wards the nails chipped went back got them done again for free a week later AGAIN they chipped. So need to find a new place.

Jaclyn Pendola I got a dip manicure and it was so thick, stuck to my skin and the dip powder color was all over my skin. The top coat had lines in it and one of my nails didn’t have a shine to it which I can only assume it was because she used something to try to remove the color from my skin which I think got on the nail. When I walked outside it looked even worse so I went in to get it fixed and she only put another top coat on. Not to mention, I showed a picture of rounded nails and she gave me square looking nails which had the dip powder looked good I would have let that go. The nail tech tried to tell me it was thick because my nails are short. I ended up going to another place the next day and having them remove my nails and paid for another manicure there because they were so bad. I wish I took a picture to post.Needless to say I will likely not return.

Carly Unfortunately did not have a good experience here. I got dip powder. The nail tech hacked my cuticles and then flooded them with the dip powder and clear coat. Two of my nails broke after 3 days and the dip powder is lifting after 1 week. She did not file down the dip powder so as its growing out theres a ledge. I will likely not return here.

Francesca Battista Everyone in there is so nice and the place is so clean. Making an appointment is super easy, even if it’s for the same day. Kathy is amazing. She always knows what I want and does it perfectly. The pumpkins I got last time I was here and were $43. I just got the blue today and it was $38. Both were acrylic fills and the design brought cost up but I say it’s totally worth it. Will definitely keep coming back until I graduate.

Christina Kim Top Coat is the absolute best nail salon in the area. Netta is professional, personable, and incredibly talented. Over time, I’ve stopped asking for anything specific for my manicures and instead just see where Netta’s creativity takes her. I’m hard on my nails and her manicures last longer than any I’ve had. They also don’t damage your nails, so if you want to take a break from manicures, your nails won’t all break as soon as you take the gel off. She is booked and busy, so keep an eye out for cancellations to get on her schedule and keep your appointments. It’s truly such a great experience from start to finish - Netta makes it feel like time with a friend and the salon couldn’t be more serene and inviting. I’ll book every 2 weeks with her forever!

Lauren Mirro Top Coat Nail lounge provides the best nail service in the City of Buffalo, for sure. If you are looking for gorgeous nails of any kind, this is the place! Modern, trends, classic, Netta can do it all. Netta, the owner and operator, is super creative, works quickly and efficiently, very friendly and very welcoming. Netta is in VERY high demand, so if you have the opportunity to have your nails done by her, JUMP on it. I get gel overlay over my natural nails, and rebook every 3 weeks for appointments. She is super accommodating and sends out reminders, its impossible to forget and she gives you multiple opportunities to cancel or reschedule in a timely manner. I could absolutely go WEEKS longer, my nails LAST. Kitchen work, gym 5x a week, I use my hands like crazy and my nails hold up so well. I waited for a couple weeks for a new client appointment, which was super easy and hopped onto a cancellation through her instagram stories no problem. She is competitively priced, communicates effectively, her location is super cute and easy to get to. I also noticed the attention to detail in my full set in accordance to the pic I showed, my hands and nails were well taken care of, my nail tech took her time and did an amazing job! Lexie LaMontagne I am STUNNED…if you’re thinking about getting your nails done here just do it! The staff here are very friendly and super thorough. Kevin did my nails, and followed the reference I had to a “T”. I came in WITHOUT an appointment and was taken care of immediately. Kevin is a good conversationalist with a steady hand. The actual salon itself is very clean and comfortable. Plus it smelled like vanilla. I don’t typically go to a nail salon more than once but this is definitely now my GO-TO SALON. Their prices are very reasonable. I was charged around $50 because I was given a 10% coupon. Very happy with this experience and their service. 100% would recommend to anyone.

Krystal Smith Shop is very clean and has a super cute, quaint atmosphere. Nail techs were VERY thorough and polite and made sure I was satisfied. Prices were fair and the work is worth every penny! Kash Anna I’ve been here twice, once for a pedicure and once for a full set. I am completely impressed by both visits. Hands down the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The difference with this shop is that they take their time. My nail beds are very small but she executed my nails perfectly and I still have NO lifting and after 2 weeks. I didn’t feel like one of many customers and they didn’t feel like robots. They made sure I was happy with my nails each step of the way, even going back to fix small imperfections instead of just leaving it that way. The music is always on point, which really helps with the relaxing ambience. I adore this shop and I probably won’t be going anyplace else.

Mary Walder Okay so if you look at my google reviews you’ll see I’ve been around to a few nail places. Mike/michael took such good care of my nail shape & really paid attention to detail. I was told to go to Elena or Ken but I’m very happy I went with Mike! I’m about a little over a month with the longest set I’ve personally have & “knock on wood” not a single one has broke yet. My nails just now look like they need a fill. I went else where were customer services was good but the prices were double, yes you got wine but your nails would break within days sometimes within a week or so. So frustrating when you spend so much & tip so much. I’m with cloud nail bar here on out. I’ll definitely be going back to Mike & I can’t wait to check out the pedis!!

Kristina Hines This was my third time coming to Cloud and I have nothing but great things to say! I have both walked in and made appointments and been taken immediately either way. I have been serviced by different techs each time and have gotten great compliments on my nails. Not to mention the gel looks perfect at week 3 and only need to get redone due to grow out. Tommy paid great attention to detail at my most recent appointment and absolutely nailed my look for my bridal shower! Lydia Gielow Today I had such a great experience at this salon! I read some reviews online and looked at their instagram and requested Mike for my full set acrylic manicure. When I went in I decided I wanted a pedicure as well and they were able to fit me in with Tracy. Tracy did a great job with my pedicure I just requested white gel polish the skin around my nails was taken care of and my feet are now vacation ready! Tracy was great! Then I had Mike do my manicure. I had requested a somewhat translucent white with a gold design and he did such an amazing job. I also recently injured the top of my ring finger as I let him know I was worried abt the drilling and filing and he was sure to be extra careful which I much appreciate. As you can see my nails look wonderful so I highly recommend this salon as well and Tracy and Mike! Thank you!

Katelyn Nutter Dowling Can’t recommend Cloud Nail Bar enough. After living in Buffalo for 5 years and never really finding a place I liked enough to be loyal to (nothing bad, just would call random places until someone had an appointment), I never go anywhere but here. Stumbled upon them 5 months ago because they were the only salon open on Sunday. They were clean, kind, and reasonably priced. We’ve been going back every two weeks (ish) ever since!! Tommy and Tina are kind and always crack in jokes with us (they get the mimosa out the minute my sister and I walk through the door!), and Mike and Elena always take care of us. When we did a walk in recently, we just took whoever was first available & even they were great! I would trust anyone in this salon. We have shown them some pretty intricate designs and they do them exactly like we imagined. Whenever we’ve asked them to do something a little differently, they kindly fix any issue (which has happened maybe one single time—and it was because I picked the wrong color at the beginning!). My sister and I love that it feels like family when we walk in—they always greet us warmly and ask us questions to follow up from the last time we visited. They also always remember you—my husband came with us that very first weekend 5 months ago and just came back with us tonight and they said welcome back—we haven’t seen you in forever! They remembered him—and that means so much to me. All in all, if you’re looking for a salon that is clean, appropriately priced, and fast, this is the place. Carmen Davila I like that I can walk in to get my nails done and it wasnt too busy when I came in at 9am on a Saturday. Ive only wanted gel nail polish on hands and feet I didnt need polish removal, no design, nothing extra just one color. My nails were already cut and clean. The older lady did my nails did a really good job. She took an hour long which I felt like it should have took way less time than that. I felt like it was overpriced. I was thinking about 25 to 45 it ended up being 60. Never heard of gel polish being that expensive. Mind you didnt want to be rude by not tipping so I tipped a 5 . But felt that was too much. Not happy wit price . It was my mistake by not checking the prices.

Bri It has been five days since I got my nails done each nail has started lifting Im holding them down with krazy glue I paid 110 dollars for nails that have lasted as long as regular press ons would have not only that but each nail is crooked some more so but very noticeable the lady I had continuously got up and roamed around. I am very upset with the quality of my nails it was a waste of time and money

Here are my take aways. - Environment: clean, well organized, spacious. - Staff: friendly, patient, great attention to details, willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. - Service: I got a gel pedicure and a dipped manicure. - Pedicure: Best pedicure I have ever had! She took her time to make sure my visit was enjoyable. She Scrapped my feet with the cheese grader looking thing and a pumice stone - fantastic. Loved the smell of the rose leg mask and the towels were nice and warm. My technician even warmed my lotion before she put it on and gave an amazing food rub! - Manicure was great! She suggested doing dip based on the design I showed her and she did a great job. She took her time and paid attention to the details based on the picture I showed her online. Overall, best experience I have had in a long, long time!

Hazal Bannach I’ve been to here twice, and both times were disappointing. First Visit: I booked an appointment a month in advance for my vacation and paid a deposit. The salon rescheduled me three times at the last minute. When I finally got there, I had to wait 15 minutes for them to open the store. The service was okay. Second Visit: I went back to get my gel nail polish removed. I had to wait 30 minutes because they overbooked. They only removed the polish from my hands and reapply a simple gel polish, but refused to clean my toes, saying they had another client coming. I didn’t even get an apology for the wait or the incomplete service. Overall: While their work is decent, their booking system and customer service need serious improvement. They also need to clean their tools properly. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

They’ve become like family over the years and I wish them all the best. They offer many services now and it’s always super clean and professional. A true artist, I feel like a queen everytime I leave there. Perfection and precision is the best way to describe it. I will not let anyone else touch my eyebrows!!! No one better, very reasonable pricing with superb results. My last visit I got acrylic ombré dip which turned out fabulous. No pictures but the eyebrow wax/tint was amazing and perfectly done. I showed a photo of what I wanted and they did it. I highly recommend this nail spot. It is relaxing like it should be for us to pamper ourselves and keep us looking our best.

Katie Warren I’m quite sad with the outcome of my nails. My boyfriend brought me here to get my nails done as a surprise to our engagement. I showed the lady a photo of what I wanted and while she was really nice and the design turned out perfectly, my actual nails did not. They are very wide, she seemed to be in a rush to get me out and she hardly filed anything at all. I got a full acrylic set and we were only there for a total of about an hour and that includes my 10 minute wait time and waiting to pay at the end. The top coat also isn’t covering the full surface of one my nails. We unfortunately do not live in the area and I also was unable to get the name of the nail tech but I was just going based off of the positive reviews that I saw. For reference I added the photo I showed. I asked to have the same length and shape as the photo as well as design.

Kristin Stroh I usually have a great experience going here but I am unhappy with how my pedicure turned out. The whole process was nice but my nails did not turn out good. I would love to go get them fixed but I’m leaving for vacation tonight and will not have the time. That is the whole reason I got a pedicure in the first place. Getting your nails done is not cheap and I was expecting quality to match the price.

Tricia Ritter Only very basic. I asked for a simple glitter fade French, was told that was too hard and not possible. My actual tech could not communicate at all with me and was extremely rough with my cuticles in regards to the drill. They also do not have a credit card machine and you have to use an app to pay such as Venmo. Price was only ok. I would only go back if I was desperate as I was today!! Nails are not consistent and she didnt ask if I wanted any length taken off.

Siomara Cyn Artistry They have gained a FOREVER CLIENT, the ladies in this shop are so welcoming and nice! I had the younger lady do my nails and toes. I asked for a French tip full set and French tip toe’s and this is the best my nails and toes have looked in a very long time. Her French tips were all painted by hand and she was quick and efficient. Both Nails and toes for under $100 and they use ONLY GEL!! How can you beat that? I love this place

AGW Stewie FILTHY, UNSANITARY AND POOR WORK. They do not clean their instruments between use.They put they powder gel on sloppy that it pushes into and over cuticle. They double dip into the wax using the same stick on each person multiple times in time the same wax for all clients. The wax is too hot and ripped my skin near the corner of my mouth leaving a mark after 3 weeks. Nails dont last and break off. They dont have a bathroom, saying" the people in the store next door use it and its dirty". No ventilation in the summer and no heat in the cold. Dont walk, RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. CHEAP work is not worth the risk to health do to unsanitary conditions and shotty work.

Deisy Moran So disappointing. I came here because of all the great reviews. I got previous acrylic removal and a nail dip. THE WORST nail service I have ever had. My nail tech was messy, careless, and my nails looked terrible! I could have honestly done a better job myself. I asked for tips since some of my natural nails broke with the removal, well she forgot I guess cause I didn’t get tips, she also didn’t bother to file or even out my nails so they’re all different shapes and sizes. The dip? Clumpy and thick, the clear coat looks like orange peel on all of them. She was cleaning my cuticles so aggressively that she cut my thumb. When she finished, she started massaging the hands and one of the nails was messed up cause it wasn’t all the way dry yet. So she filed it and just put a gel clear coat. So only one nail has gel on it while still having visible file marks on it. Not to mention having excessive material still sticking my nail to my skin and color powder stuck all over my fingers afterwards. THE WORST for $55 I should have received a professional service. Instead it looks like I did my own nails with two left hands. The photos below are after I showered and cleaned them up a bit myself.

Ken Duy It was my first time at the spa for a pedicure, and the technician asked in detail about the condition of my feet and recommended the most suitable package. My feet are quite sensitive, but they worked very gently, causing no pain at all. I even got a relaxing massage; I loved it so much that I didn’t want to get up!

Michelle Smith I have been going to sun nails for 20+ yrs. Ann and Rose are great extremely friendly and they provide a warm relaxing environment. Rose and Ann are very talkative and make you feel comfortable especially after a long work week. The shop is very clean and they have new really nice new equipment also a large variety of colors to chose from for nails. They also are very good for waxing, eye lashes and other services. I wouldnt go anywhere else very thankful to have had them over the years. Highly recommend Sun nails.

Lowa Dulcie I got eyelash extensions done here for a trip, and the lashes lasted for three weeks without falling out much. The technician applied each lash evenly, with no visible glue, looking natural yet beautiful. I’m excited not to have to apply mascara every day. Highly recommend!

bianca rodriguez Charlotte is amazing!!!!! Absolutely amazing. She gave me a Relaxing, pedicure experience she got my ingrown toenails out she checked in on me to make sure I wasn’t in pain. Great leg massage and she timed it so I didn’t lose any time. I got acrylics with design by her as well. She pays attention to detail, very clean and sanitary. I couldn’t be more impressed and I will return every 2-3 weeks.

Shoon Shoon I got my nails done on November 22, and they still looked amazing until January 5! Even I cook daily, the color stayed perfect. My nail tech, Lily, was super sweet and professional. Love this place! Great quality and super affordable!

I can attest that they look more natural and they feel very secure. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was super nice n smiling.

Eva Sutton went here twice the first time the acrylic nails were very thick but they lasted so it was fine. the second time the lady didnt even put on a fake nail and just put acrylic over my real nail and they are very short and uneven. i got a gel pedi and an acrylic set after soaking off my previous set and it cost $145. DO NOT GO HERE, theyre prices are so expensive and the work is not of good quality. i got scammed, you will too.

JANET Fullagar This establishment hands down is thee most professional nail salon I have been to in this area. Their work speaks for itself. Youre greeted and welcomed at the door every time by your name!! That alone is something, and shows Twee & Veto take pride in their business and customers. Im a nurse and hard on my hands. When I started going here, my hands were extremely dry and nails brittle. Twee went above and beyond to give me advice and brought my nails back to health. I frequent the salon every few weeks to keep up with my manicure and pedicures. Its my reward to myself, and I feel amazing every time I leave. The staff beyond the owners are truly friendly and hard working. There is always a beautiful array of colors to choose from with the polish. In regards to the review prior to mine... Its a shame some people are not truthful. Its unrealistic to walk into an establishment and expect a technician to stop in the middle of helping another customer, to service you immediately. There were quite a few technicians working, and all were busy with people that sat there patiently and waited their turn. To leave an untruthful review to hurt someones business and livelihood, is not right. In regards to the construction going on in the plaza...its temporary, and out of the control of the many businesses being affected. The town doing the construction has the zone safely blocked off, and you have to walk along a fence to enter these businesses. It takes an extra 30 steps at most. Its never easy to run a business when construction is going on right out in front of your building, but like things in life... you have to move forward. The fact that the salon is full and people still continue to walk around the construction zone... again speaks for itself!!

Kim Nguyen Went to this salon on a whim before my trip to AZ. They’re super welcoming. I just had to sign in, tell them what I needed, and luckily, David was able to take me right away. The place was very clean and well decorated; everyone there was very friendly, I definitely felt much more welcomed there than at other salons. One down side is they don’t do dip powder, but that’s okay. I didn’t get anything fancy done with designs or anything, so I’m hoping they’ll be able to do that for me, because I’d love to come back.

Erika P I’ve literally never left a review before but I am so upset. I showed them a photo of coffin nails with a French tip and some gems. While she was shaping my nails she cut my skin and I was Bleeding over and over again and she blames it on my “sensitive skin”. Then she quickly shapes my nails into this awful shape and most are crooked. I said just do pink. Bc I wanted to leave. She tells me okay it’ll be $55. When she finished, she said acrually no it’ll be $85. I’m sorry? What? They’re horrible. I’m going home and ripping them off. She was rude. And careless.

G I have looking for a good reliable nail salon ad was recommended to come here and see either Ken or Mai. Immediately beginning the manicure, I was cut and bled a little due to Ken rushing and simply not paying attention during filing. One of my nails (with the bow) has textured bumps due to fuzz landing on it during the manicure. And one of my finger nails was very sensitive and red and raw after the manicure and now about 1.5 weeks later that same nail has a small infection forming with a yellow bubble. I’m extremely disappointed and NOT satisfied because a mani pedi is an expensive luxury and not only am I dissatisfied with the quality of service, an employee here cut me and made me bleed and now I have an infection.

Kyra Chislom Im conflicted. Everyone was super friendly, great atmosphere, reasonable pricing, everywhere I looked there was great nail art. So thats 5/5. But I also left with 5 split/bloody fingers because the gentleman doing my nails went really hard with the dremel. He saw me flinch the first two times and apologized, but then ignored when my fingers started bleeding. Maybe it was an off day or just the wrong person, but Im not sure that Ill return.

Caroline Kirkpatrick I booked an appointment with Liz for a full set with gel and design. She did them exactly like the reference picture. Was very gentle and careful when sanding my nails down, and did not hit my cuticles which has happened to me at other salons. Made sure I was happy with shape and length before preceding each time. Very happy!

Shannon Garno I’ve been going to Nail Max for about 2 years now and it is the only place I go to get my nails done. The entire aesthetic is amazing, so clean and bright. The staff is friendly, accommodating and great at what they do. I always see Liz when I go and the service is always incredible. She is very knowledgeable and very talented. I constantly receive so many compliments on my nails and people asking me where I go to get them done. Definitely go see Liz at nail max. She’s a lovely person and the BEST in Buffalo. Megan Breen Great price and friendly staff but horrible gel polish. My best friend and I had reservations to get out nails done together at 6:30 on a Tuesday and upon arrival they did her nails first and then mine even though we both had a 6:30 time slot. There were other staff working but were doing walk ins or maybe over booked appointments. I went after my friend about 20 min later. I got my nails done for a trip to Italy and wanted to not have to worry about nail polish for my 14 day trip. I’m only 5 days out from having my nails done and several nails are peeling and one chipped off. I am super disappointed because typically my gel polish lasts 2-3 weeks and that’s when I’m doing dishes and swimming etc. currently I’m doing none of those on vacation! The price of $20 for gel was great I thought but I never would have paid $20 if I knew the polish would last only 5 days. I’m 100% sure it’s gel polish it’s not like they used the wrong kind on my nails. I guess it’s just awful gel.

Crystal Worst experience I have ever had. I have been going to this salon on and off for 15 years. I live out of town. For the record I liked the work she has done for me in the past. I have had other people there do my nails and feet. This day I was totally upset but, I don’t carry on with people. I’m too poise for that. Hence this review is specifically to Melissa who I will no longer request. She seems to have a harsh manner. I started going back in May for Mother’s Day. I came back in July and today,August 9 for 2:00, 2024 appointment. First, she never speaks, I seem to be the one who says, hello how are you? Today, she said Crystal and gestured to the pedi to start my nail polish change. Today, I pull three bottles of polish to look at and set them aside on the table if the empty chair next to me. She says abruptly, are you finish looking at those? she says I’m going to put it back before they fall. They were not going to fall. It’s all about delivery, her tone needs a lot of work. She also seems to be in a hurry, especially today. Next, I’m choosing nail color, one of my toes is dark. So I see a beautiful two coral colors and I ask is one lighter then the other. She says I don’t think it will cover the toe. I said ok, she goes in to say you have a dark toe, I say I know and ok. An unnecessary comment in my opinion. Because when I asked about the color she answered and I said ok. The same toe was looking different when she painted it so I took a picture to look closer. I ask about why the left side of the toenail looks different, she’s says abruptly, you have a broken nail. As I’m trying to process this, she looks at Theresa and makes a comment in their language and looks back at me and then I have an attitude. Like, what is the problem.? Am I not supposed to ask about my toes? You’re the person that supposed to help. Next, I move to the table to get a fill my nails a bit longer then I like and I have one broken one. She says do you just want a filll or fill and fix? I thought the question was strange it’s (the fix) is on the sign in sheet and why would I not want a missing nail fixed? I ask are you in a hurry, she says no, I said, you seem to be in a hurry. As she uses a nail to remove what’s left of my broken she goes in, I pulled back( which is a huge clue) and say can you be more gentle? she says how? Then she cuts down my nail upon request, I had coffin. Never ask would like this, or any recommendations.I asked for French, I asked is their another shade of clear? No customer service, no would like to try or let me see what I can do. Finally, I’m finished and head to the drying table. After i finish I never said a word paid with cash and left no tip as I always have in the past. Maybe Melissa just didn’t like me. It’s all good because I won’t be going back for her service. Or, maybe she not good at her soft skills, only the technical ones which are the hard skills. I get that your work can become monotonous, I can imagine doing nails and feet day in and day gets boring. I’m recommending a customer service reboot. It does not matter how long you been in business, customers want to be greeted with a smile, get good quality service and enjoy the experience. We all are busy, please take sometime to clean the windows and the door. Melissa, it does not cost a thing to treat people with kindness, do better.

Lash glue did not come off with remover of any kind they definitely used hair glue.and it ripped my natural long lashes out and I only had them on for a week nails are see through nothing like the reference pic ,jewels on the nails rusted green. Tanisha Yogurl Worst nail service I have ever gotten. I had to wait over 2 hours the first time I came after calling and they said they weren’t busy. While he was doing my nails I told him the acrylic was too thick and the shape wasn’t what I wanted. He proceeded to try and give me the file to do it myself. Why must I file my own nails when I’m paying for a service? After finishing my nails I told them I wasn’t impressed. They had me come back a few days later on which I had to wait another 3 hours before being helped. They told me that they are unable to help me sooner all though this is their mistake. Would not recommend.

Lashaun S. I went here again after telling myself the last time I was done. I received the most nicest nail tech but she didn’t know how to do nails. She applied my nails on with my hands straight up and facing her which resulted in crooked nails that needed to be replaced, she used the drill for filing purposes. I know when your supposed to file vs. drilling in applying nails she never measured after applying the nails that they were all the same size, she told me that she measured after applying the acrylic. I should of red flagged the situation at once and requested a different nail tech. I showed her a picture of what type of nails I wanted and she drew her own conclusion of what she saw. When I expressed that I was unhappy with the service right in front of the owner he didn’t bat a eye, look up; As he was serving a client right at the counter area but close enough to hear everything. didn’t even ask what the issue was. They knew they threw me to least experienced and didn’t give a damn. I am so disappointed in the shop as I have spent a lot of mo ru with them over the years and when service isn’t up to par they act like they could careless. Well maybe it ain’t a act and that’s why I won’t be going back there ever.

Very knowledgeable guy, made sure I was aware of all the color options and that I was getting what I wanted. He was very nice and I’m happy with my gel manicure and my experience as a whole.

Natalie D I went there a few days before my did and got acrylic manicure. I’m very disappointed. My acrylic manicure the colour underneath the original one I had was supposed to come off but the girl painted on top of it. Then in about 3 days my manicure started chipping. And I also suggested this place to my mom she went there Sunday March 26 and got gel manicure. I had made her an appointment and she had to wait for over an hour to get manicure done. It’s ridiculous why am I sitting and waiting for more than an hour. After that the women that was doing her manicure kept on jumping from one station to another. If u are short staffed then reschedule. After that shorter less than 2 days her manicure started coming off. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional. All I want is a refund.

Lindsey Lisa and Danny always do an amazing job as always, I like to gatekeepe Lisa because shes incredibly talented with the work she does. I have gone to many different nail salon all across Buffalo and this salon does by far the best with designs and scheduling. I recommend going during a week day afternoon, if you go after 5 I reccmend appointments because it does get busy every time Ive been thereafter 5

Julie was so friendly, polite, and professional! She engaged me in conversation and listened. The aura of the business was so calming. I needed a me day to pick myself up and out of the blues and Julie provided just that! I got acrylic nails with gel polish ( 5 fingers had free hand designs) and I also got my eyebrows done. Julie Le did a phenomenal job on both. My eyebrows are kind of awkward so I usually end up with a slight difference between the two. However, Julie got them perfect!! I needed a lift me up and I left more uplifted than I was even hoping for!! I am definitely returning here!! Next on my list is a pedicure!! I would highly recommend this business and Julie!!!

BA Hall My very good gf treated me to a mani-pedi & facial waxing for my birthday. Julie, the owner, met us at the door with birthday wishes. Throughout the visit Julie was professional, attentive & extremely thorough. She is very time efficient but never made me feel rushed. Julie constantly checked on customer satisfaction at every stage of each procedure and was responsive to feedback given to her. The selection of available nail colors is impressive and massage chairs were available for customers during the pedicure. Julie stressed the value of maintaining proper foot care. Frankly she was much more thorough in her examination & treatment of my feet & toes than any podiatrist I have ever been to. My hands, feet and face felt refreshed and looked beautiful at the end of my time with her. My nails & feet still look good 8 days later and I do believe they will remain that way for 3 weeks, as promised. I am very pleased with the quality of services I received & highly recommend Julie. She’s available by appointment only.

kendra dunkleman I came Two times to get my nails done. There was never anyone else in the salon which I found kind of odd. The owner "Jules" convinced me to get my eye lashes done after my second pedicure I have never gotten lashes before, needless to say she scrubbed my eyes with a dry Terry washcloth towel which extremely hurt rubbed my eyes red and swollen and was condescending and rude. She kept making comments as if it was my fault it was hurting like I didnt have enough lashes to hold them on or when I tried sitting up she yelled at me to stay down. She had me leave when my eyes were swollen and leaking with water and puss and I could not see. I spent 2 days icing my eyes for the better part of the days. My friend had to cut a piece of lash that was not placed right and was scratching my eye. I went in to show her my red swollen eyes she said come back in a few weeks and I will fill and help. "Jules" even called me a few days prior to make sure I was coming in she left a odd voicemail and she was sorry and would help. I came in for my "refill" that she was going to "help" with and told me her I owe her $80 or shes calling the cops when we were all said and done. She is a terrible owner-worker and person. I will never go back! She doesnt wear gloves, Nothing is sanitized or up to code. The first picture is before the lashes and the other pictures are after.

Jillian M I had a disappointing experience at this nail salon. I visited two days before my wedding, and unfortunately, it didnt meet my expectations. The nail techs didnt give me the shape I requested, and I ended up bleeding on almost every finger during the process. The polish application was sloppy, leaving behind bubbles. On top of that, the staffs rudeness didnt make the visit any better. I considered asking for a refund, but the damage to my nails two days before my wedding was irreversible. I will not be returning and will be telling anyone and everyone I know to avoid this place if they care about their hands.

Rosemary Bennett My daughter & her friend love their nails and as beautiful & perfect as the sets they chose turned out … it doesn’t make up for the shady manner in how they charge. I went in to buy 2 gift certificates before Christmas and asked about full sets of acrylics. Starts at $30 … okay so how does that work ? No clear cut explanation. Ok so 40-50 per set then roughly ? Girls showed pics of the exact sets they wanted - pink with black accents and 1 black bow appliqué per hand and total was $165 . I’m not saying it wasn’t the going rate for a set of nails that beautiful (in my opinion ) so that fine I just wish it was more clear the way it’s described is misleading. Like saying iPads $10 & + but at checkout they cost $800. Silver lining that nail tech is clearly skilled and also for prices that high I feel like the vibe and look of it should match the high price tag. And be transparent about pricing .

Happy Hour February 22nd Ive gotten my nails done today I dont go often and this why I was charged $20 for this nail design which is crazy to me I can only imagine what other people are being charged when they have diamond studs different designs on each nails different colors 3D nail art bowls all type of things add it to their nails so for me to be charged $20 for this design is absurd to me on my other hand my nail looks lumpy like the first nail tech did not send it down good enough and I just cant believe it at this point this is why I put my own diamond studs and extras on my nails because to be charged $20 for this is crazy to me

Julia Tansey Went for the first time right at open. It was nice to be the only one in the salon, Linda was so quick and my nails turned out perfect. I’m very ticklish so during my pedicure I was very fidgety and she didn’t seem to mind, lol. I spent soooo long picking a color too. The gentlemen was also very kind :) I don’t get my nails done often but I will definitely be back!

Moira McJury Just moved back to the area and I am looking for a new place for acrylics. I wasnt able to get in to another salon nearby and stumbled upon City Nails. My nails came out okay. Some are a little crooked and wonky but overall the customer service experience was good, welcoming, and friendly. Linda is very nice and the salon is extremely clean. Prices were a little steep given the quality of the nails. I paid over $50 for these.

A ICS My mom and I have been going to City Nails consistently for about 1 year. Linda does moms nails. She basically gets the same neutral polish, but they always come out perfectly. Tony always does my nails but unlike my mom, I always want to try something new. Tony always delivers! The set pictured is my most recent one. I love that they accept and honor appointments. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the high quality products they use. The shop is always clean and well maintained. We love City Nails!

Lc Clark Update: I went back recently for a gel polish change. Its been downsized a lot since my last visit over 3 years ago. The color options are pretty limited now, BUT they still do really good work, AND they do not water down their gel poilish (or likely any polish). The most recent salon I was using. Told me the gel polish chipping in less than 7 days, was my fault. I am "too rough" on my hands, and I get my nails wet too often. I was believing it until I stopped through City Nails, my old stomping grounds! Been almost 2 weeks and ZERO chipping. Still really friendly staff. They still do very nice work and have excellent attention to detail. They deserve the traffic/business try them! Still an undercover gem :)

L Wilson I went for a pedicure....needless to say I had to get another 2 days after to fix theirs. My feet was rougher than they were before I went there. Not to mention there was a client before me that got a pedicure also, and the nail lady thought she could just rinse the bowl out instead of fully cleaning it between clients!!!! Never going again!!! And all of my hair clients have stopped going as well when they seen my pedicure.

LaRika C I can only speak about two nail techs for acrylics. Katie is my #1. She examines your nails to make sure they are perfect. My nails (acrylics) always last 3 weeks without lifting. Shes been doing my and my sisters nails for years. Shes super friendly and easy to talk to. Tell her what you want and shell do her best to make it happen. If youre unable to Katie, then I recommend Tracy. Im giving them 4 stars because their gel manicures on natural nails didnt last longer than 3-5 days which was very disappointing for my two daughters.

Sarah Dressel Quality of service used to be so much better but now everything is rushed and they still want you to pay more. Prices posted on the wall are not accurate so make sure you ask them a price beforehand. I will never go here again and I’ve gone to them for almost 15 years.

Alexandra Wachowski The owner was extremely rude and argumentative towards me. One of his workers could not understand me so proceeded to do the wrong steps to my nails - when I told them this, the owner told me I was going to be charged for 2 different nail treatments! I explained to him that I confirmed with his worker after I sat down what I wanted and he basically was arguing that I was lying to him. All around horrible and my nail beds physically hurt - they cut me multiple times and did not even care. My nail beds are cut up and cracked now because of this place.

Maja M I’ve come to Flowers for a long time, around 7 months. The first time I ever went, I called and tried to make an appointment. Someone answered and said “No, no appointments” and hung up on me. The many times I have went service was slow, however, the nails looked superb! The other day I went to flower’s with a friend and there were only 2 people ahead of us. About 30 minutes later the shop filled up. We sat in the shop for over 2 hours and they took EVERYONE that came in after us! The workers never said a word to us. They never asked who was next or apologized. They were very unprofessional and unorganized. If they cannot keep up with the amount of people they should have a sign in sheet. Moral of the story is we came into the shop at 4:30pm and then called another nail salon that took us right away and reserved two seats for us around 6:45pm. After spending all that time in the shop and leaving without our nails being done with zero apologizes or acknowledgments was the last straw. I will not be going back to Flower’s or recommending them at all. As I said, the nails look fantastic - if you have 8 hours to spend in the nail shop because they don’t care about their customers.

Shelby Kirkman Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. The nails seem to look good, but if you’re not a ‘favorite’ or friends with the techs, everybody will be seen before they bother to get to you. They play favorites on customers, and it is obvious. I arrived at 5:30 and wasn’t seen at all because by 8:30 and realizing I had wasted an entire night waiting to get my nails done, something that is simple and a 30 minute process; however, being pushed off like I hadn’t been there waiting, I finally decided 3 hours was long enough. I was mad at myself for even staying that long, as that is far too long to wait for a set of nails.

A 716 I booked an appointment through the link 2 months in advanced to make sure i had a secure spot because i had a trip the next day. The day of my appointment i drive 25 minutes away for the store to be closed. I called and texted the owner multiple times and there was no answer. i still haven’t heard anything not even an apology.

Flower took care of me and spent almost 2 hours with my mani & pedi. She paid attention to detail and didn’t mind taking the time to shape my nails exactly as I asked. They just gained yet another regular !

Ashley Dietrick I hardly ever write reviews. Today was my first and last visit to this nail salon. My appointment was at 6:15 and I waited a long time to start. I didnt leave until 7:45. They took too many people and there was not enough staff. If that was the only problem, I wouldnt complain, it happens. Once I was at a station, a tech threw (literally) a blue tab on the water that hit my toe and dyed it blue. This caused my nail tech to dig and dig and dig to get the blue off from around my big toenail from the water dye tablet. I asked for rounded short toe nails three times, never quite got there. My nail tech was not skilled compared to other nail salons I have been to and it shows in the end result. I tried saying things multiple times even though Im super uncomfortable complaining. Including at the very end when I pointed out to the manager/owner that she completely missed part of my pinky toe nail so he CUT IT OFF. Oh and she filed my nails after the gel was cured, which I know breaks the seal. Pictures show poor finish, uneven toe nail shapes, and bizarrely cut off/ notched out pinky toe nail that was the owners response to me trying to show him how bad it was. Oh and still a little blue in the corner of my big toe. Just horrific. Never going back. (Still paid and tipped because I am not a horrible human)

Lo Rivera I came here with my 2 kids to get our nails done. My 13 year old & I got acrylics & my 5 year old got her nails painted. It was $195. Here we are less than 24 hours later and my 5 year old has 2 fingers that have nail polish left on them. I’m giving it two stars because I really do love my nails, but for $195 I expect a much better lasting quality.

Dawn Hitzges Phillip, Ivy, Andy and Cindy are among the best of the best when it comes to customer service! They are very friendly, and are accommodating with appointments... for the most part taken right on time (theres been a very short wait once or twice but thats to be expected in this business). Ive had appointments with all four and you cant find a better place for acrylics, gel nails and pedicures in the area. Ive been a customer for over 5 years, and am very particular, so that says something! This salon is always clean and bright, and relatively well organized in comparison to other salons Ive visited in the past; Ive never had a concern about cleanliness or sanitization here. **PRO TIP** If you need a custom design, Ivy is an amazing artist!

Oda Mae I always go here for a pedicure. My last experiment wasn’t the greatest. I had the guy who was all tatted up and I feel like he treats me differently every time I get him. I stopped going here for my nails because he did an awful job. The acrylic was super think and bulky and when I went to another salon for a fill she asked if I want them thinner. I couldn’t believe the difference. They looked normal and so much better. I’ve always gone here for pedicures but this last time always it for me. He didn’t cut down my nails, I didn’t receive any foot massage which is more annoying that I paid for the better pedicure too. The service has gone down over the last 7 years.

Tricia Grannum They burned my skin with nail glue, and cut my fingers, trying to pull the glue off. Then proceeded to pop off rhinestones when I complained and ask for a refund as the service was horrible, and the man doing my nails did not know what he was doing. My nails are lumpy and thick. There was acrylic all over my fingers and glue all over my fingers. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.

Showed Ann the picture of an ombre sparkle blue nail inspired by frozen...she said I can do something similar...when I tell u this lady sped thru painting that she didnt go down to my cuticle or clean the sides up and after burning and having black on my sparkles I tell her she tries to convince me its silver sparkles. Looks like I was playing in charcoal. Picture speaks for itself. Save your money.

Kay Lay HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Nasty customer service!!! They rush your services!!! I paid 90$ for a 2 minute pedicure and rushed all different sizes full set! The lady told me she couldn’t fix my nails after the other lady who what I’m assuming from the interaction between me and her and the other lady couldn’t speak or might’ve been deaf! So many steps skipped.. LIKE HOW DO YOU NOT CLEAN THE CUTICLE DURING A PEDICURE??? I almost want to call the police.

Virginia Haskell Went to this place today since I decided to spend the day downtown and spent $90 for a french manicure and white toes. My pinky toe has nail polish just splattered on and they cut my cuticles up on my fingers. I do not recommend anybody to go here

Myranda Empric AK nails is undeniably the best nail salon in Buffalo, NY. I have been going to this salon for 4+ years and tell all my friends and family to switch over to here as well. My acrylics are always done flawlessly. My nail tech specifically went out of her way to find an acrylic powder that worked best for my nails. She can match any design and most of the time… makes designs better than the picture I show her. Absolutely incredible service and I look forward to my appointment every two weeks!!

Kari Antonio I was referred to A&K Nails and I can not say enough. Kathy fixed my nails as the prior nail salon did such an horrible job that I was embarrassed with the way they looked and Kathy made them beautiful again! The prices are fair annd no expensive. Maria M AWFUL! NEVER COME HERE! I got my nails done a few hours before going on a trip. Spend 105 for nails and toes without a tip- 125 with a tip. THE NEXT DAY my nail fell off! I was opening a cabinet and it fell off. AWFUL JOB! Less then 24 hours and my acrylic tip breaks off. I could have used a fake nail from Walmart and gotten better results! COMPLETELY AWFUL! If I could give this zero stars I would.

Kelly Camacho I used to go to Luss in the Niagara falls boulevard but they get so many customers that it always takes several hours and the prices are high. They give out free drinks but not consistently. I liked JJ Nails, it was super easy to make an appointment, I got in and got out in under an hour. Quiet & clean atmosphere. Prices are great.

Latasha Young Charged me $80.00 for a Pedicure & Gel Manicure. Both began chipping by the next day! Never had that happen before. My gel usually lasts for weeks/months, elsewhere. Returned two days later for them to fix it. They did, which was nice, but now it’ll be a week tomorrow I had them done. They are chipping even worse now on both my hands & feet. Allow me to backtrack a bit, $80 for a Gel Manicure. No Acrylic, & it started chipping the very next day. After the Tech “fixed it,” she never gave an explanation as to why that happened so prematurely! I did my own little digging. I think it’s the Polish. Very, very thin as if something was added to it maybe. I’m not sure. Either way, won’t be taking my Money again.

No name I ended up going there around the time that they would be closing. instead of letting me know that they would be closing soon, they took me without saying anything and completed my nails within the 10 minutes that they had until closing. I’ve never seen a worse nail job. it looked like how i did my nails when i was in first grade. it literally looked like someone put fresh nail polish on and then washed their hands right after while it was wet. there were huge streaks in the color. they didn’t wait for the acrylic to dry and then they didn’t wait for the nail polish to dry before putting on the clear coat. it was only supposed to be a fill and a solid nail polish color. i’ve never been so embarrassed to have spent money on something. i would have rather they had just told me that they were closing and to come back. i was starting a new job the next day and that’s why i wanted them done. i wanted my nails to look cute and they ended up looking completely busted. doing a good job is more important than getting a quick buck. you should never take anyone if you don’t have time to do a decent job. this nail shop is about 30 seconds from my house and it sucks that i have to drive farther to another shop just to get a decent job.

Nicole Garrison This is the best nail salon Ive been to and its definitely underrated by far. Im from the Lancaster area and Ive always been ripped off either with poor quality services or trying to get a nail design that doesnt look anything like the pictures Ive shown them. However Mike and the rest of the staff here are fantastic and everyone is so wonderfully nice. Im always impressed by there work and there pricing is great. I highly recommend this place to anyone for any of the services they offer. I gladly take the 25 minute drive to go there because its definitely worth it!

Layla I believe some staff members here are extremely prejudice to say the least. After 4 appointments, each one worst than the last I decided to never return. If you are black, expect subpar and inconsistent treatment/work. They do not value or treat customers based on customer character or on how well you tip. Quality and service is based on SKIN. In 2024 I can’t wrap my mind around it. It is very transparent they seem to only care about how the white customers feel. Even though I tip more, I’m always on time and I am very pleasant. The girl at table 9 has the potential to do 10/10 work but has fell short a few times. Her husband Ben deserves 0/10 for the last appointment I had. A simple overlay with gel polish. It was sloppy, uneven, thick beyond belief and downright offensive. The photos were taken 15 minutes after my appointment. They look far worse in person. Ben, you should be ashamed of yourself. On the plus side, I ordered a nail kit from Amazon and I’ve added Acrylic nail work to my list of hobbies. DO NOT recommend Exotic Nails. I’m taking my experience to social media. Hopefully you all will have a staff meeting and improve.

Felicia Jones If I could leave a 0 star review trust and believe I would. Price gauging is real !! I used to pay 25/30 for my nails . Not only was my nails 60( 50 plus 20 % for gratuity) ALL MY NAILS ARE BREAKING OFF. I literally just had them done 06/22/2023 these pictures are taken a week apart on the date of 06/29/2023. Please don’t waste your money here. And I would like to mention all of the nails broke exactly at the part you glue the nail tip on. I don’t do any extensive work AT ALL. Majority broke completing simple task like opening the door, showering and washing dishes.

I asked for coffin shaped nails, and what I got instead looked like crooked, misshapen haphazardly cut tombstones. I mentioned the obviously crooked acrylic nail on my pointer finger, and I was told that it was “supposed to look like that until after it was filed” … I fixed them myself a couple days later

Merc Jordan This is my go to nail shop, the ladies are very nice and do a good job. Gel pedicure and manicure is $80, which is a lot of money however, it does last for a month or more and if I was to pay for the same procedure on a cruise ship it would cost $150 and up. I’m saving money by getting it done on land. They offer many other services and I recommend them if you’re in the area.

Mariya Pakiya I like Hannah she’s great but there’s another woman that always ends up doing my nails and she has to be coached on everything and she gives a bit of attitude. My nails have broken within 2 days of getting done each time and I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but how does a nail break by just picking up wet clothes? The acrylic was so thin! I won’t be coming here anymore and I’ve been going to this shop since I was a kid. If Hannah can’t do my nails, then I just refuse to go anymore.

Natalie Perez The WORST pedi I’ve ever received. I see why there was no business on a Saturday and the workers kept saying how “slow” it was. The women were rude, the pedicure was rushed even when there were no clients waiting. They cut my toenails at a diagonal and when I complained, they got defiant and demanded a tip from me. They didn’t even push my cuticles back. She actually charged my credit card with a 20% tip and I had to demand she refund the tip or I was calling the Police. I had to pay $45 for a pedicure that looks atrocious. I came home and recut my toenails. DO NOT GO HERE.

Renee Ward I was charged70 dollars for a foot scrub , cuticle trim ,soak and lotionI cant have hot towels or massage on my legs. My daughter that also had a pedicure had everything done and was charged 30. Its a beautiful place but i was charged way to much . We wont be back!

Lee The people there weren’t bad, but I have an issue with the service and what i wound up getting. I got my nails done three days ago, and when I went tempeh had one person who did acrylic’s (that’s fine) but there was also only one person who did designs (a different person) and so i had to pay $30 extra for them to change people, not including the price for the design. I showed them the photo of what I wanted before I payed that amount for them to switch, and it was only after that that i was told that they couldn’t do that design. (even though i showed a photo first and they said they could) And the quality of the nails themself isn’t great. The designs are very uneven and scratching off, and the gel polish used on top of the nails is chipping off of the nails due to simple everyday tasks and wear. (this has never been a problem at other places) Although the staff for the most part was kind, I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to other people looking to get what i got done, and I don’t think I’ll find myself back there again.

Megan Gerrity 70/30 chance of a good experience. I cant really complain because I come back out of convenience. If youre a regular the service seems to be better. Everyone appears nice. Anyway, the manicure I got today was rubbish. Old polish left on nails, cut/filed too short, barely cleaned up the nail bed. Didnt have me rinse before applying polish. After watching a haphazard application filled with bubbles, I asked to stop applying color and just to leave the nails natural. Misunderstanding led to a clear coat application, which was fine, except the one hand it began to peel off and even after observing that, didnt fix it. Not the first experience like this, but like I said, roulette of nail salons. I wish I could say you get what you pay for, but the price changes every time I go ¯⁠⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

J.Zinfandel Gel nails look so poorly done. She gave us a price list to point what we wanted then tried to charge double when we got to the register. I showed her the list and pointed and she literally laughed and said “no, you pay this”. Never going there again.

Robin Mccreary This visit was a joke. Almost all my fingers were bleeding and was charged for an overlay" what ever that is. And I asked for a fill. When I told them how horrible she did the lady yelled at me and put her hands on me. I asked them to call the cops or give my money back. They would only give me 20 of the 55 back. Im disgusted. If you want to be overchatged for bleeding and horrible looking nails, go here. They look like kids nails
