kristieeil leenbl Every time I visit, I always feel like I am being taken care of neatly and enthusiastically at this nail salon. The staff not only made my nails beautiful but also gave dedicated advice on suitable colors and designs. I am delighted and will come back again and again.

Cora Ordway UPDATE PLEASE READ !! I WROTE THIS WHILE I WAS THERE .. After we were done and I handed my card to pay , she didnt take it but asked me to pay with venmo. The total was 280 FVcKinnnnnnGgggg DOLLARS!!! Wtf !! For 2 pedicure , anc full set with gel french manicure polish !!! I questioned it thinking I heard her wrong !! Yes the service was great but we werent served any champagne or wine or even offered water !! That is so crazy !! Nope ..never will I return !! Im still pissed about the price and its the next day. And BTW our nails are not flawless !! My Daughter in law and I went and were treated like royalty !! No joke !! The ladys there were all so kind and never hurt us. They took their time to make sure we were happy with our tow nails and fingernails. The owner was so sweet. The pedicure felt amazing . They didnt rush through it . The girls were not speaking to each other in another language like they do in other salons. I personally hate that. I like most women my age have had my nails done many times for the past 30 years and this place is in the top 3 .

Jan Houston Last weekend, my mom and I had a wonderfully relaxing session when we got our nails done here. Not only beautiful nails but also very good massage and clean waxing services. We all felt relaxed and refreshed after our nail session.

Roopa Gupta MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND RACIST NAIL SALON EVER, I visited here twice and every time the owner Jennifer will charge me more than what she firstly quoted , she is really money minded and racist. I came for an ANC and she said it will be 35 + 15 for the extra glitter she put on . Seeing that I am Indian and I don’t had much knowledge of the nail world she always try to rush me and takes me at no priority in front of other customers and because of that she used her trimming machine so roughly on my 6 out of 10 fingers that they were bleeding and painful for the rest couple of days and when I told her she said it’s part of the process . C’mon Is it part of the process to hurt someone and that too bleed 6 out of 10 fingers . I came to her salon to show her what she did and she started commenting to other customers that I was looking for discount and since I did not got one so I am saying this .. really …. C’mon you never gave me any discount, I already payed you $72 what you asked for and you being so arrogant and not accepting your mistake. She messed my toe nails and when I asked her to give me a time for Monday and I she wanted me to wait more. If you cannot tolerate a negative review then please do good job and don’t fool innocent people .. god bless you Jennifer . Save your $$, DONT VISIT THIS SALON EVER. Ryder G Very clean and very therapeutic Went here as a treat for a birthday as a walk in. We were immediately taken in and got manicures. I wanted a clear coat but the lady recommended a buff and shine because it lasts far longer She was very gentle and efficient. Massaging my hands with oil and soaking my hands in hot water. Nancy Girouard Lana did an amazing job on my pedicure and can handle ingrown toenails. Lily used her power box expertly to remove the gel, and went from side to side for my manicure so I didnt have to reach over and be uncomfortable. The salon is very quiet, clean, and they used sanitized tools.

Lakeia Madison This was my third time visiting this nail salon, and unfortunately, it will be my last. My concerns about cleanliness have only grown, and I’m convinced the tools are not properly sanitized. During this visit, I witnessed a customer get cut, and the entire salon froze when she screamed. Instead of addressing the situation, the staff began speaking in their native language, leaving the customer visibly frustrated. She mentioned she was stressed from the experience and should have waited for her regular nail tech. In my opinion, management should have stepped in, either to handle the situation professionally or ensure the customer received the care she needed. The lack of response was disturbing, and I don’t feel comfortable returning to an establishment where hygiene and customer care are clearly not priorities. Old review: The gel nail coloring and quality of the service were worth the price, which was pretty cheap. Thats a plus. They didnt have a line when I was there, but people were consistently walking in. The reason I give the place a 3 is because its dirty. I made the technician clean her tools before using them on me as it was evident they werent cleaning tools, floors, tables, or pedicure bowl. I wouldnt come back unless I brought my own tools. I dont believe Id get a pedicure for this reason as well.

Beth I went in today for a manicure. Was very disappointed. The owner was nice, but the nail tech who worked on me was not experienced. Very painful cutting my cuticles and made me bleed. Did not know how to file properly and the owner had to finish that. They do not apply lotion to hands or offer a moist hand towel. The owner saw the experience wasnt going well and offered to let me leave before they applied nail polish. I cant believe they were charging $20 for a basic manicure. I went to L Perfect Nails and had a much better experience for $5 less.

Olivia Badalucco If I could rate this place zero stars I would! Extremely unfriendly and judgmental staff. Dirty and hostile environment. I JUST went in to get gel nails removed and to have my nails shaped. I take care of my nails so I rarely to get them done. Getting them safely removed is important to me also. From my understanding most nail salons would soak and then remove the polish. This women went in straight with a one of those electronic sanding things (idk terms) and completely ruined my nails. My fingers hurt so bad and anytime I touch anything with them no matter how hard, they bend and hurt so bad. AND THEY DIDN’T EVEN GET THE GEL OFF ALL MY NAILS!!!! I also asked for them to be shaped and they were far from it. Crooked and poorly shaped (photo for reference cause I’m appalled). I knew something was wrong, but I wish I checked how they ultimately looked before I left because I even tipped the women. And to the girls who were sitting at the pedi spas looking at me in an extremely rude and judgmental way, do better and go to school. Do not come here.

I usually get ANC and the manicurists have always been kind and very gentle. Also they’re FAST! Great if you need to get in and out and be totally happy with your nails. Prices are super fair as well.

SUSAN CLERMONT Yesterday I went back to re- try DL but what an absolute disappointment again. The gentleman who applied my ANC was so distracted on the phone and terrible workmanship. Clumps water spots and dust stuck in the wet top coat I will now never go again. This is awful I now need to go to a reputable place to have these nails fixed (pictures do not really pick up imperfections but honestly just awful)

tifkinsify DL Nail Bar will be the only place I go for all of my nail needs from here on out. I have been trying to find a nail salon that is clean, reasonably priced, with friendly and knowledgeable staff for the past year. I don’t have to search any longer! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the cleanliness and brightness of the interior. There were multiple sterilizing machines visible and not a speck of trash or debris in sight. The prices were listed in brochures available on the counter, as well as posted on a large sign on the wall. They have a handy iPad available to check in if you booked an appointment, but they also accept walk-ins as the schedule allows. The website is well laid out and makes booking a breeze! There was a large TV that was easily visible from anywhere in the salon, and I was offered a chilled water bottle as I was seated. The polish color selection was very inclusive, they even had color changing options! The pedicure seats double as massage chairs which is a lovely treat. Hung greeted me when I walked in and helped me choose the service best suited to my needs. I choose the Deluxe Pedicure package with callus removal and gel polish. The pedicure cost $45, the callus removal cost $5, and the gel polish cost $10 which I found to be very affordable. Hung talked me through the entire process and explained what he was doing as he did it, always checking in with me to gauge my comfort level. The cuticle care and callus removal Hung performed was top tier! I even had a few old popped blisters he was able to make practically disappear. I was NEVER in pain which is a huuuuge deal to me, because I have spent a year getting torn up and bloody from other techs. The pedicure lasted about an hour, and they even offered a discount for paying cash. My feet and toes were ROUGH going in and look completely transformed! I highly recommend this nail salon for anyone who wants a knowledgeable and gentle nail tech with excellent and affordable service!

Lindsay Tomaszek Steph is theeeee best! Always takes her time and does an amazing job. Gives me recommendations for new styles. Also doubles as my therapist :). Been going to the salon for over 2 years and never had a bad experience. Love this place can’t recommend enough.

Manaswi N Me and my sister visited Salon 109 for the first time, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Jan worked her magic with our haircut’s—she clearly knows her craft. I love that the salon is open on weekends, making it so convenient to schedule an appointment. The entire experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Nicole Diaz This is way overdue, but Jan did an excellent job with my hair for my 11.14.21 wedding! I originally did a trial with another stylist who ended up leaving before my wedding date and I live a few hours away, so I wasnt able to do another trial with her before the day came. However, she managed bring my vision to life (and my wedding party as well) and I was so happy with how it turned out. Highly recommend!

Patricia I came in to get gel polish for a simple service on my natural nails, but they applied builder gel without asking me first. I was then charged $78 for something I never asked for, and with tip the total was 95$ completely unreasonable. The pricing disappointment me, will not go back.

Amour Castillo I have been to this nail salon twice and I live in New York City — it is one of the best nail salons I have ever been to. I truly recommend Ivy (my manicurist) and they do gel X extension removal and UV gel extensions. AMAZING PRICES AND ARTWORK. Thanks so much to this team! I even had to do a zoom meeting in the middle of my appointment and they allowed me to do it in the salon :)

Vivian Nicastro First time with hard gel - and first time at LR Nail - and a wonderful experience. They accommodated me as a walk in during a busy Sunday and were very attentive. It seemed that they actually cared about not damaging my natural nail, a quality that had been difficult to find. My nails turned out beautiful and are still looking great after a month!

Destiny Marie First time getting my nails done since high school and wasn’t very versed on all the different types of manicures. They mostly push you toward getting hard gel nails. Whenever I asked questions on other types of manicures they didn’t have much info. So, that being said I did get hard gel nails with tips. My tech was Eva who did a great job!!! Took about 1.5hrs and was $85. $80 for the hard gel with design but $65 if you opt out of designs. $5 extra if you’d like coffin or almond shape otherwise you can choose square or round without the additional charge. Hope this helps some of you! I’ll try to give an update on how long they last and nail health after removal (:

Iris Duggan I absolutely LOVE coming here. The atmosphere is so relaxing, and everything smells amazing. I always get my hair done by Samantha (Sam), and she always does the best job. She is super nice, friendly, and is great at cutting all kinds of hair, including curly. If you come here to get a haircut, I would 100% recommend getting it done with her.

Ty Kat This place exceeded my expectations not a bad thing to say about it and if your looking for someone who’s very knowledgeable about Skincare and the steps and products then go to Sarah she’s an expert at her craft the amenities are amazing from the relaxation room to the steam room to the sauna not to mention the comfy robe and slippers and tranquility tea the massage during your facial will leave you in ahhh I will deff be booking this for a relaxation day with my bridal party  !!!! She really cares about her clients and making sure the outcome is beautiful and they are happy. Im looking forward to my next pedicure with her. Her name is very appropriate, as she is truly a "Gem". I was looking for a new great nail person in this area (spas, hair salons, etc.), but the search was not going well until this morning. Finally!

Horse Lover I haven’t been pleased with my last 3 hair cuts. Their styling products have changed dramatically over the years and although I love the idea of all natural products they just don’t seem to do the job as well. One line I loved was the Rene Furterer, that they no longer carry. I’ve been coming to this salon with family and friends for well over 20 years. However, the cost and less than master stylists doing my hair and in effective products, I’m afraid I won’t be able to recommend or return for another hair cuts/style.

Jennifer Morwin I wasnt aware that Anias offered spa services until my friends daughter joined the team as a hair stylist. I tried my first service with Jillian over a year ago and have been going there regularly since. Prior I had been going to some of the better known spas locally, however the services offered, quality of the services and knowledge Jillian shares far exceed what I received anywhere else. She has a passion for what she does and it shows!

Jennifer A Im 9 years old and school picture day is tomorrow. Kelly was my stylist .she was super gentle with my long hair. We had a really good conversation and she made me feel comfortable. She did awesome braids and my hair down. I will definitely go back to Kelly again. I totally recommend this salon and stylist.

Latae Davis Definitely a great business with great customer service. I’ve been here about ten times and each experience has been pleasant and positive . I always get a full set of acrylics, a pedicure and and an eye brow wax and they always come out amazing. Tonight’s experience was especially pleasant as I came in a little later then usual and they were able to have two people complete my services at once and they never made me feel rushed and made sure I was satisfied during the whole process. I definitely recommend them to anyone who values high quality work and good customer service.

Cher Freda Really disappointed. I made an appointment with Nina but when I walked in no one checked my appointment and I didn’t get Nina. I was called over to someone I assumed was Nina because it was my first time there. I asked for a square medium set and I knew things were going downhill when she cut my nails into a coffin shape. I didn’t want to be annoying my first time there and have her take my tips off so I dealt with it.while this was happening a women goes to grab their appointment book and calls me in the chair. This was Nina who my appointment was supposed to be with. She hung up the phone and said nothing. Didn’t even mention that my appointment was to be with her. I even asked if she called me and she just said yea. I noticed it was Nina when another client came in and called her by name. The other woman did my nails and all in all they came out okay, but when I went to pay it was $95. She charged me $35 for my design and $5 for the shape I did not ask for. I have never paid more than $30 for my design even when it is more intricate than this unless I have gems or 3d art. Which is worth the extra cost. She didn’t even give me a second coat of polish. I called her on it and she didn’t say she would remove the charge for the shape I didn’t ask for. She just looked at me and held her hand out for my card. I have no problem paying for my service based on what I asked for, and I would’ve tipped her $20 because I used to work in the service industry and I always tip that much, and even with all of this, I still tipped her $15 for work that in my opinion wasn’t worth the cost. Especially since my pinky nail is literally sticking straight up with my hands flat. No idea that was even possible. I want to come back and get my nails actually done by Nina because I was referred to her, but this left a sour taste in my mouth. Edit:I will literally never come here again. After 4 days 6 of my nails lifted. For $95…you’ve got to be joking. Avoid at all costs.

Samantha Diehl The environment appears clean and all. I mentioned it to the person doing my nails that last time my nails were really slanted and I didn’t want them to do that again and I got a really confused response back. They clipped my nail all the way down to the bed then at the end my nails are literally pointing straight up/back away from my finger. Overall probably will not return.

Hannah Brought my mom to get our nails done for a late Christmas gift and had a great experience! The owner Leo did both of our nails and was great! He made sure we were both comfortable and liked our nails as he was going. The salon itself was very clean and the other staff was also great! Little to no wait, we made an appointment ahead of time but they do accept walk ins! While we were there they had multiple people walk in and they got them in chairs and started working on them quickly! I ended up messing up a nail when transferring to the pedicure station and when Leo noticed he immediately fixed it with no hesitation saying he wasn’t letting us leave with less than perfect nails! Jessica Ive been going here since I moved to Troy andtheyre definitely the most consistent and theyre very nice! The owner Leo cracks me up and doesnt make me feel uncomfortable. I usually do not like getting my nails done by a man but I do like him!!! His wife whose name I cannot remember also does a phenomenal job with shaping and designs, she is a little shyer but she is very kind. The wait time can be long as they are a ma and pa business and its usually just Leo and his wife, but if you call ahead youll usually get a seen pretty quickly

Bella Yeung I got my pedicure here. They have few varieties and i did the honey pedicure. I have dry skins. Its deeply moisturized my skin after this treatment. I have been too few other salons but this salon i feel they use better quality products. I highly recommend this place.

Asia Tibbs-Palmer I walked in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was serviced immediately. First thing I noticed is they don’t use the bags for the pedicure bowls. That’s unsanitary to me. My pedicure turned out okay, not the best. My manicure on the other hand was not pleasing at all. The coats were too thick and she did not cover my full nails. Less than 3 days later my nail polish were coming off like a sticker. I will not be returning.

Her designs that she personally designs are beyond on point and honestly I’m funny about who touches my nails because I know that they’re conversational pieces. Emily Cruz I’ve had my nails done twice with ANC and tips and I’m never coming back. The first time they were just ok but I just thought it was Bc they were busy. They came off no problem. The second time?? It’s been 5 weeks and they’re still on (3 fell off) and it seems like they’ll never come off. They’re overgrown so I had to finally cut them w scissors and file them down. one nail is so loose but stuck to one part of my nail so whenever I hit it, it bleeds and my whole finger is swollen. I just want them to come off at this point- they hurt so bad its like they used superglue or something. Update: the nail glue was stuck to my skin... Probably Bc they rush the process so much. Not cool.

Ashley shaik I made an appointment, i ended up being seen 30 minutes later due to people not showing up on time to their own appointment- I was pushed to be later than expected. Nan was the one who did my nails, she seemed nice but she was busy doing 3 other things while she was doing my gel acrylic fill. (She was answering calls, doing waxes and putting people in for appointments). I know she has a business to own and run but I’m also a customer, who felt as if I was put on the back burner. I’m sitting in your chair, I should be a priority. My nails looked horrible when I walked out, she didn’t ask if the color was the right one when she used it on my nails, she didn’t do any care to my cuticle or dead skin around my nail, the gel wasn’t cleaned up after. The gel polish was under my nails and looks completely unprofessional. I choose a lavender color with confidence and now I regret it. She didn’t check to see if the size of the nails were the same size on each hand, she didn’t even change buffing blocks or filing sticks from what I saw, you can tell it was used by another customer. I’m just at a loss, I keep going place to place in hopes I’ll find a good nail salon and it looks like I’ve given up. This place won’t have my business again.

Natalie Leuci I had a great experience at Colorful Nails. I called ahead of time to ask if they had the chrome powder that I wanted to use for this design. I ended up speaking with the owner and he had me send over the design that I wanted. He sent me color samples and had my technician create mock up nails ahead of time. This was above and beyond. My nail technician, Alicia, did exactly what I wanted. Everyone in the salon was friendly. Very clean and organized. Will definitely go back!

ASA Upoma Very Bad service and really disappointed with their professionalism! Firstly they kept me waiting for 20min in spite of booking my appointment earlier. No value of time given. Secondly the service provider was in a hurry to do everything and was very rough with my hands. It caused cuts in my nail cuticles which were very painful and burning for the next 2 days!! I couldn’t even eat food with my hands cz it would cause burning!! Unbelievable! I have done manicure in hundred times in other places but none of them caused this!! Never doing manicure here again! Makiya D I was overcharged for a pedicure and a “gel x” manicure. My “gel x” was not gel x. I have no idea what it was. I’ve had 4 nails break, or pop off like press ons 3 days after I got them done. Now I’m on vacation trying to find salons to fix my nails every dang day. Will not be going back. Not worth over $150

My only issue is my paint started chipping day 3. Even at mall salons, I’ve never experienced chipping especially this early. Super disappointed.

Lelia Walcott The owner expressed to me “I don’t need your money I have plenty of clients” in response to her CHEMICALLY IRRITATING MY SCALP! By using products she did not use in our normal routine to get my hair done faster. For context the 2nd to last time I was in the salon was from 11am-9pm because the owner was busy with other clients though I had an appointment for my regular color fill. I was patient and worked with her at the time. This last time I went I assumed she wanted to speed the process up. This last time - February 20th, 2025 she used way more product and left it in my hair for longer as well as dying my eyebrows. I current have way lighter eyebrows with barely any hair at the end as she left it on my brows for 30 mins plus as oppose to 8-10 mins and then SHE BLAMED ME the paying client for not telling her the professional…. Making it seem like this was all my fault. She used multiple red lamps that produced heat after the products to dye my hair was in my head (which was also different than last time) which I believe contributed to its irritation! A few days went by and yesterday February 25, 2025 I requested her in person to give me my money back as my hair was 2 different colors because my roots lifted way too high, I did not get what I asked for, she chemically irritated my scalp and I still cannot brush my hair because my head is so tight and dry. Durning the process she saw my head was raw and red and did nothing but continued to pull and rub the product in. She told me that day I was paying for the “service” of what she did. Because it was neglectful, painful, and not what I asked for I believed I had every right to request my money back. Mainly I do not take disrespect lightly and her comments of dodging blame I was very sick of. She did give me back my money (which she should not have charged me for then) but she was unapologetic, rude, and told me again it was my fault for only coming to her salon when I need to fill in my roots as if that had anything to do with my scalp being hurt by her. I went to the doctor and my scalp is going to take a while to heal because of this incident. It’s okay to mess up but to not take responsibility and mistreat a client is disgusting. My head was burning as she kept rubbing this in and I wasn’t even offered a tissue or “I’m sorry”. I have done this process with her multiple times and never thought she would respond so poorly. Turns out one of her workers expressed to me the 2nd to last time I was there the owner was upset about me for a week because my fill was more than 2 inches. I don’t care if Ithe root fill was down to my neck regardless I’m paying you for a service and I’ve been nothing but kind. Even tipping her for staying past her hours which AGAIN NOT MY FAULT….When things aren’t done right you need to be called out on it. This was not my fault and I am very disappointed with her failure to be a decent human being to a “client” she “cares about”. Same way you don’t need my money I don’t need your business. ✋ Attached is a picture of what my hair looked like when my scalped “calmed down” and this was hours after I left her salon so you can only image how bad it truly was. She never asked that day I asked for my money back “how are you doing?” Or followed up like a decent human would after such a traumatic experience …which speaks to her true character. Never again.

brenda santana I get my hair straighten 1-2 times a year and every time I go to Jacquelines she does a fantastic job and since I’m a natural hair girlie I love that my curls are always there after I wash my hair! 10/10 experience they are very sweet and outgoing.

Tee JustTee If I could give 0 star, I would. I went to this shop in October 2023 for a black dye and a trim on my natural curly kinky hair. I left with a dye, trim, and stinky overprocessed hair. Three weeks later, I called Jackie up and informed her that my hair was not reverting back to its natural state, and I believed she gave me heat damaged. She insisted that it wasnt. She stated that my hair texture would not revert. I told her thats the definition of heat damaged. Now its 2months later, and I went to get a consult elsewhere, and found out that she put a chemical in my hair(that is why it still stinks) and she did not do the second step, which is why my hair breaks right off by just touching it. To make matters worse, she refused to admit that she damaged my hair. If you have 4C type hair, here is your warning, do not go to this salon if you want to keep your hair on your head. Learn from my unfortunate situation. Update: It is now May 2024. All my hair fell out, so I cut it all off. Thank you, Jackie, for showing me what greedy looks like. Count your blessing because I can still sue you for all the damage youve done. Youre evil and greedy, and God doesnt like ugly.

Kai Wynter Went here about a year ago. I have type 4 hair. My blow out and cut was perfect but what is in that $10 treatment? My curls were looser after the wash and now that my hair has been growing out for a year I can see the difference in the two textures… I just feel like if you’re going to tell me to get a $10 treatment to loosen my curls that should’ve been very explicit. When I washed my hair two weeks after the blow out, my hair was straight for about 3 months….

I was initially nervous about letting someone cut her hair, but the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. They were gentle with my daughter, who is a bit tender-headed, which made her feel comfortable. The result was beautiful—my daughter left happy and received so many compliments at school! I ended up leaving with cuts and blood around two of my fingers and within two days the hard gel she layered on cracked into pieces. I’ve been getting hard gel for years, I’ve never had a worse experience. Will not recommend this salon to anyone.

Angelena Louban I got my nails done for the first time at this salon. When I called I was easily able to make an appointment for the same day. When I arrived, I was greeted by Cindy who was the nail tech who did my manicure. Cindy was extremely gentle with my nails, which is something I really appreciated. Cindy was very nice, asking if I liked the length, shape, and color before proceeding with the rest of my nails. Price was very fair. I was even given a small gift for the holidays! These two time i just got basic pedicure nothing fancy but 3rd time i took my chance and i got lavender pedicure. Idk if the lady who did mine is trainee or they lack interest my callus is barely removed barely soaked barely lavender oil is applied. Not going back.

I then got a regular manicure but was in a time crunch. So Leo took over and really did a great job in a short time. They were all friendly and the place had a good vibe!

Gayathri N I came here last minute because the previous nail salon I had scheduled at was not able to take me in (I was 15 min late to the appt- my fault totally.) I wanted to get my nails done before the work week started and as it was a Saturday and a lot of salons close on Sunday I was sort of desperate. I called Sally’s and they were able to get me in on the same day within an hour!! I asked for a dip powder mani and a spa pedicure and they were able to accommodate me with no problems. Upon arriving at my appointment I was promptly greeted and seated and Cindy was the nail tech that did my manicure. She worked quickly but efficiently and made sure I liked how everything looked and double checked everything as she went. She also gave me a free shoulder massage which was amazing! May did my pedicure and I was very happy to see that they had many options to choose from (they gave me a sheet to pick from). I chose the hot stone pedicure and May did a very thorough job and was receptive to my feedback (at one point the stones were a bit too hot for me and she adjusted accordingly). She took the time to make sure I was relaxed. I also loved that there wasn’t a lot of side commentary or snide remarks about the customers which I have seen at some salons in the past (Colorful Nails in Albany as an example). If you want to just relax and close your eyes they leave you alone and don’t try and force conversation, which I appreciated. This was a wonderful find and I’m so happy to have ended up here. I will be a regular here and I’m sort of glad I wasn’t able to make my appt at the previous place (Gratitude Nails) because the people here are so much nicer!!

I think it was because I unintentionally raised my voice at the guy who was trying to ask if I wanted to go to someone else since the person I wanted was with another person. Kristen Ortiz I went here once before and had a decent experience but my experience today has turned me all the way off. I had gone in today with a friend for a pedicure and tips with dip powder. They started me on a pedicure where the woman clipped all my nails extremely short and the pedicure was over in 20 minutes. Did not ask about the shape or take care in the pedicure like the man who had done my previous one. Then for my nails, they were clipped crooked but i decided that they could be fixed later on but they barely were. Nearing the end, she asked me to rinse my hands and I accidentally misheard her and washed with soap and water to which she came with an attitude rudely telling me that it was just supposed to be water.. my bad. The shape and finish of the nails are not professional at all, there are red dots throughout the set, and I was left with my fingers having messy glue and hardened dip powder all around . Highly unsatisfied. But what really turned me off was the way they handled my friends awful nails. Her nails were poorly shaped after she had told him to not touch the shape she had, had lint hardened all throughout the gel polish, and a dent in her thumbnail. She didn’t feel comfortable with the man fixing her nails at that point and had asked for $5 to be taken off the total. He refused to take the money off and only offered to fix them as a “two minute fix” which it would not have been and we had places to be after. Overall, the unprofessional and lack of pride in their work makes this place a no for me. Id encourage you to take your business elsewhere since this place is such a gamble.

Kristen Chanel This is my first time here. Not sure i would return. I gave 3 stars because the customer service was good. They were quick as well. However, I asked for bio gel or builder gel on my nails. I only use builder gel. I hate acrylic. Its been less than a week (about 3 days) since doing my nails and it is already lifting at the cuticles, ready to break off and its painful. This is the first time this has happened to me. Its very disappointing because i just got them done and hardly got to enjoy my set.

Rebecca Pepper Depends who you get there. Ive been going there for the last 10 years I spend about $100 give or take on my nails each time. Some are great with shaping but not design, some are vicious with design but not shaping. They do a great job with their pedies they really get in there with all kinds of contraptions to make your feet baby soft and they help relieve ingrown nails if they arent too ingrown.

Nykes World I tried to let it go and I tried to just be OK but after spending my $85 I look at my nails and it looks like a two-year-old did them. It looks like I allowed my little niece or my little cousin to draw on my hands. I’ve gone to the salon several times and my experience was not like this. I am in tears writing this review, they decided to have some Hispanic women do my nails, and it seemed like she never did nails a day in her life. The way she was using the cuticle clipper i kept jumping from going to deep …you’re not even supposed to clip the skin to where it hurts You clip the dead skin she clipped all the skin around my feet, so I’m pretty sure I’ll have an infection by next week , I finally just asked for a simple gel manicure and pedicure with a across the top simple and instead of that they offered me This thick line and the thick polish that’s all over my hands all over the sides. I really am upset. This is horrible. The owner, she tried to accommodate me and even make me laugh, and I tried to be a sport about the whole situation, but I can’t because this is embarrassing my feet look like they were untouched like this is embarrassing. It’s just like it’s like I never even got a pedicure and I even paid extra for a really good pedicure because I know I haven’t got one in a while. This was such a waste of money and a horrible experience.

EandS Cain I want to share an experience I had at a nail shop I’ve gone to off and on for quite some time. It’s been my go-to place when I’m in a bind because they stay open later than others, sometimes until 9 PM. This time, I needed my nails done last minute, so I went there thinking everything would be fine. But things turned out differently. First, the nail technician forgot to do my pinky toe, which I didn’t notice until later. And to make it worse, one of my fingernails started lifting. When I pointed it out to the lady, instead of being helpful, she actually told me that I needed to stop lifting my nails — as if it was my fault! She even said that if it happened again, she’d make me pay for it. I couldn’t believe how rude and disrespectful she was. After that, I told her I wouldn’t be coming back. It seems like every time I go there, there’s some kind of issue. I just wish they’d value their loyal customers instead of treating them like this. It’s so frustrating to give a place a chance over and over, only to be let down each time.

Regina Lynn I only go to this location for my nails and eyebrows. Theyre very skilled in their craft. I always go in with random nail design ideas and Trammy is able to make my vision come to life. Shes extremely talented and artistic. You can also enjoy a pedicure. I also get my eyebrows done by Trammy. Id highly recommend this spa for all of your nail needs.

Then, the woman doing my nails wasnt even wearing GLOVES. and she didnt give much attention to my nails because theres a very noticeable hole in the color.... Erin O I went for my wedding reception nails. I normally stick to pretty simple nails, one color. I decided to go fancy and showed her a picture of chrome with tiny pearls. She said she could do them no problem. I also requested almond nails. While the service was lovely, the nails were…not up to my standard at all. The pinky on my right hand was wonky and facing up. The pearls were placed HORRIBLY on my nails with glue everywhere. Not only were they bad, they charged me for almond nails (what?! They actually weren’t even almond…), they charged me 3 dollars PER FINGER for the pearls, 15 dollars for chrome when that powder was probably bought on Amazon for 7 dollars for 6 powders. I paid $96.00 and ended up ripping them off. I was not informed of how exorbitant the prices of things were beforehand which I do take some credit for. I should have asked. I have NEVER paid that much money esp for horrible nails.

Kathryn Chamberlain I went with my daughter who loves the place. We did a mani /pedi During my pedicure, the tech scraped a chunk off the side of my toe. It hurt and was bleeding. The weird thing was that she didn’t even acknowledge she had done it or apologize. I had to ask for a bandaid and the manager came over and saw my bleeding toe and she didn’t say anything or apologize either. And then they charged me full price for my service like nothing had happened. It really put me off to this place and I don’t recommend.

Katie Maher I got anc powder and less than 24hrs later the surface is crackled on every nail. My nail tech was really nice but she was too quick and careless, she cut two of my fingers with the nail file.

Asia Alvez Arriving at this salon was welcoming and I was pleased to know that they offered gel extensions since acrylic usually burns my fingers. I wanted something different for my bday and this was the only salon I found that did gel extensions. I asked the nail tec if she had crystals to do a design I had pictures of. She stated she can so I asked to see what crystals she had to confirm shape and size. They weren’t exact as the pics I’ve shown so I said she can do what she is comfortable to do. After 2+ hrs I wasn’t happy with the design because she put put them on in every which way sloppy and gel over the crystals and they just looks very distasteful. She seemed upset and took them off but tried to refuse refunding the cost of the crystals. After exactly 1 week 3 nails popped off and there is lifting on 4 other nails. This service was not worth $60. I will not be returning. *** UPDATE*** After receiving the response from the owner I went back to have my nails fixed. The owner was very good about redoing my nail and used another gel builder. Though this gel was a completely different color and he took his time to do them 4 days later I had a nail come off. Maybe gel extensions don’t really last longer than a week (as I assumed) or this brand of gel is no good.

YoYo Happy One I was here 7 months ago and still pleased. I do have a request, if you are going to charge 16 dollars for a manicure only, a nice hand massage would be nice. My husband had both and he was very pleased. Well come back but I expect a little more service for a 16 dollar manicure. Lotion on your hands after they dry,etc...

Tanya Wood If i could give 0 stars i would! This is the first time i have ever left a $0 tip. My hands have never hurt so bad after an ANC manicure! Tech barely used dremmel and i could see why she wasnt very confident. So she mostly used nail files. I left with three bleeding cuticles!! She had me soak the old ANC off in acetone for so long i hade acetone/glue stuff all over my fingers—-which she used the nail file on my SKIN to try to remove!! Also. They took my temp when i walked in..i thought hmm ok they are just covid conscious…no other customers that came in after me had their temp taken…

The person that assisted me paid a lot of attention to details and made sure to get everything right! The salon was clean and also laidback. I will definitely return!

Caroline Horizny Mitchell I’ve been going to Cinderella Nail for years. I like getting ANC on my finger nails and they are always responsive to my requests and the quality is great. I just started doing pedicures and they are SO relaxing and take a long time which is good because you are paying for it. I recently brought my best friend there and she liked it too, and my husband who had a foot massage/pedicure with no polish (obviously). Will definitely keep going back even though I live in Albany near other closer nail salons. The employees are very timely and friendly.

L P I went a little over a week ago to get my nails done before a trip to L.A. It was my first time getting anything other than a basic manicure - I got ANC/dip ($45) with almond filed ($5) tips ($5) and 2 nails "custom painted" ($2). So from what I remember it was $57 total before tip. I brought a reference picture (last pic) and they matched it almost exactly (I opted to go for accent nails with the gold line, not all 10). A really nice man helped at the start as I described what I wanted and showed the picture. He started buffing and adding tips but after a couple tips I was switched over to Cindy. Both of these people were great for customer service but obviously since Cindy did the majority of my nails I thought she was FANTASTIC. Like I said I never had ANC or tips done before so not gonna lie it looked rough at the start and I asked Cindy if she thought one of the tips looked crooked. She said it wasnt crooked/a mistake and that it lined up with the direction my nail grew in, which I guess grows kind of to the side. But anyways as she kept going it was looking better and better. At the end I felt bad for questioning her and she did such a great job I gave her like a 22% tip I think. I also asked her how long shes been doing nails for before realizing it sounded like I was questioning her skill which was not my intention but anyways shes been doing it since she was a teen and has like 20+ years I think, and I believe her! 10/10 would recommend if youre looking for a high-quality manicure at a very fair price! Pricing is hard to find online but its laid out very clearly on a big sign in the store.

Francesca R. Cindy has been my go-to friend for 13 years! I first met Cindy at a previous salon, and when she left, I could never find someone that compared. One day, after many, many visits to different salons in the area, I stumbled into Cinderella, and there was Cindy, who walked right up to me after 2 years, asking me if I remembered her... umm, of course! Cindy is gentle, friendly, accommodating, and makes me laugh. Cindy is dedicated to providing an excellent service, so much so that she has planned her first vacation in many years and asked when my wedding was so she could ensure shed be in town to take care of me for my wedding. I absolutely adore her and will never go to someone else. I have gotten a few friends to start going to Cinderella, and now they also wont go anywhere else!

K I went in to Rainbow Nail & Spa for the first time. After looking at the mixed reviews, i can honestly say that my personal experience was great. It’s a family atmosphere; yes it may not be your typical ‘bougie’ salon, but they had the tools they needed to do the job. I think folks should give this place a chance and be open minded with the process and if a situation occurs; mistakes happen and we cannot let it ruin our day. It’s best to work together to find a solution. I should have asked the price before i made the reservation so i had to deal with the total. I paid 43 for pedicure, and 35 for manicure. The lady did nudge for me to give a tip and i felt bad if i said no so i put in 5 bucks. She did try to sell me their other services in the beginning but i kindly declined. They’re just doing what every business does, i think it’s good to support our local nail salons. Nonetheless, nails were beautiful, and the workers were very nice. Just always make sure to prepare yourself with the price no matter where you get your nails done :)

K Ekstrom Jenny is a true artist! I used to get my nails done here with my mom, who is no longer with us. I decided to go back to get my nails done for my sister’s wedding, and they are just as good as I remember them being. Jenny was so meticulous, and really spent a lot of time making sure all my nails were even and that they matched. I did have one nail pop off after 4 days, but I had jammed it, so it was my fault. I will absolutely be going back when I need my nails done again.

Kristen Bishop I am still in disbelief in how awful my experience was here. I am now stuck with damaged nails because of them until i figure out another time to govthat i dont have my baby and dont have to work. This was also my first time out treating myself to a baby free visit to the salon since having my 10 month old. I asked for a manicure with ANC, no tips, just in my natural nails. Im a mom who works 45-50 hours a week, and I do not have a maid or nanny (lol). My hands are rough right now. Dirty nails, hang nails...rough. the man filed my nails (barely), they arent shaped, or even but I didnt care I was happy to be getting my nails done! Then he starts doing the ANC base. Doesnt soak my hands, doesnt clean up my cuticles, or remove the dirt from under my nails. Nothing. So I kindly ask about this and explain the service Ive received in the past that includes these things, he says "Yes, ANC manicure". I am thinking ok maybe they do it different now? Then he starts with the color powder. I started to feel very anxious and said I was really uncomfortable with this and pointed out my cuticles, dirty nails, hair stuck to his equipment and the woman that greeted me, states in a firm less than pleasant tone that ANC is nails only. What? Then when I explain I had this before she says if I want a manicure its extra. I dont know where the miscommunication was but I was horrified at the service, the lack of empathy, and the dirty equipment/supplies. I asked him to remove the color from the 3 nails that he had just dipped in powder. I had chunks of the anc flying at me, one piece went in my eye, its flying at my face, going in my hair....it was straight out of a sitcom. Only it wasnt funny. I will never go back to this place, not even if I was offered free services. Just terrible.

Catie Ping Went here for the first time today for a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing. The guy that did it was great. Would possibly go back just for a pedicure? My problem was with my manicure, I wanted anc french manicure, almond shape. Black with a purple tip. I was told that the gentleman who did my pedicure couldnt do my manicure, because he couldnt do that. Ok someone else can do it. I will say now that I have anxiety, and dont like confrontation. I get told that the color will have to be gel. Ok Im thinking shes talking about the tips. She starts doing anc clear. I dont say anything. When shes done with that she starts saying what black and purple are to dark bla bla bla.(she clearly didnt see my nails when i came in. They where black and purple ombre in anc) This is when I figured out that this was her plan to begin with. If I was a confrontational person I would have argued with her. It wouldnt have gone well. The almond shape is atrocious. (I was pissed when i saw i was charged more for "special shape." They are not even at all. On most of them one side is completely straight. I told her I didnt want them cut short, so instead she filed them shorter. Not happy, really wish I was a confrontational person because i paid good money for something that I hate. If I ever do go back she will not be doing my nails!!

Mersiha Alivodic Let me start by saying, that I have never ever had a worse salon experience in my life. I had a disappointing experience with this nail salon and would rate it zero stars if I could. My nails turned out wide and sloppy, and the tech cut my cuticle during the process by aggressively filing at a speed I’ve never seen before then said that it bled bc my cuticles are dry. It was clear the tech was rushing to finish so she could leave. She applied an ungodly amount of gel to my nail bed in GLOBS and then blamed ME for not keeping my hands under the UV long enough, saying that is what caused the gel to spill over, and not the amount she slathered on. I kept my hands under the lights as long as she asked- no more, no less. My ring finger has a nail tip on it that is slanted UP, not flush with my nail bed and she also blamed that on me, saying that’s my natural nail shape- unreal. The tech asked me to return tomorrow so she could “fix” it but that is just not acceptable nor would I trust this person again. Overall, not a good experience and will never return here.

Shanice Catini I went for a simple manicure a week and a half ago. I took off the nail polish this morning and discovered that my nails are damaged. The tech used an electric filer that left scratches all over my nails and near my cuticles she filed too much and there are dents in my nails. My nails hurt and now they will look horrible for months until the damage grows out. Do not go to this nail salon.

Shadez Cabrera-Jordan I wouldn’t even rate this salon a one star but I had to for google purposes. If I could this would get a -5 star rating. I would not recommend this salon to anyone ever. Le who is a worker and seems to hold a manager position at the salon is very unprofessional, rude, and selfish. About 10 years ago I came to this salon for my birthday to get my nails done and couldn’t even have the full manicure completed because the lady working on my nails cut my cuticles so far up that I was bleeding non stop. She stated that the cuticle cutter was new and that’s why she cut me so bad. In response to the lady doing my nails Le asked my mother to not sue or post on Facebook which wasn’t our intentions or even in our thoughts. At that point I was in pain and bleeding on my birthday all because I went to this salon for a simple manicure. So she offered five free services which now looking back wasn’t worth it. I continued going to this salon but instead of getting my nails done with the lady who cut me bad I started going to Le. At first she was decent with me and then as the years passed she became very annoyed, agitated, and was always rushing to finish my nails. I still kept giving her business and ignored it because she does good work. But she has awful customer service when doing your nails and you ask her for help or if she can do your nails a certain way. Fast forward to this year a few days ago now, to be more specific a day before my little sisters birthday I brought her in to get her nails and toes painted. Whoever was available took her and it was a lady who clearly disregarded my wishes on how to handle my sisters nails. I asked her to not file multiple times more than 5 times to be exact. She still took it upon herself to file her toes and nails. More specifically she filed her toes so much that she irritated her skin and at some point was filing her skin because there was no nail to file. My sister was afraid to speak up and even after she jumped while she was filing and pouring solution on her feet to clean them she ignored that and continued filing. Once we left my sister complained that two of her toes were burning and when I took a look I could see exactly why. She filed her skin off. When I called to speak to Le her response was I could bring her back and get it taken off. I said to her why would I do that if I paid already and that I was just letting her know the issue so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Le then said what do you want me to do? Then she said come back get your money and we are refusing future services from you and she tried to throw in the pricing and how I had a problem with the pricing which I never did. Pricing at this salon is a whole new story to get into. They tell you one price and try to charge you another and when you ask for a break down they are hesitant and can’t explain. The way I was treated after so many years and after having a horrible experience I would never recommend anyone to this salon ever because of how you are treated when they do something wrong and you speak up about it. Also Le tried to make it seem like she was afraid to serve me in the future as if I threatened her or something when I simply told her the issue in the most calmest way not expecting anything in return but maybe an apology for my younger sister having to endure pain from getting her nails and feet done which wasn’t even a full manicure or pedicure. She was to just paint her toes and fingers and that’s all instead she filed her toes so short that she started filing skin when clearly they were already short and didn’t need filing on top of the fact that I asked her to please not file more than once. Save yourself the money and hassle and go to a salon who has good customer service and actually cares about the customer and not just there for the money! They also over charge for a mediocre service that they provide.

Cindy Rogers Great first visit! Im so happy to have found Mindy. I have ANC nails and my natural nails are fairly long. She did a great job, good coverage, thickness and most importantly shape!! Staff are friendly and courteous too. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is because the staff talks a lot in their native language. I dont mind, especially when they seemed happy and were joking. Yet when all of technicians are laughing and NONE of the customers are... it gets a bit awkward. The best thing to do is share the conversation so customers can laugh with you. Ill be back :) ...Cant wait until they are in their new location!

The service is great and the workers are super nice, it’s just I specified plain white gel nails and didn’t get it. I paid $35 for these, also I got them done for prom, prom is may 6th. I guess I’ll be going home and painting them white… Oh and you may be asking why I didn’t ask them to fix them again, and it’s because I have awful social anxiety, and had already asked for them to be white after she painted them.

Peek A Boo Preschool I made an appointment for my 7 year old and myself for pedi/mani last night. No extras. Regular polish. I let the manager know it was a young child when I made the appt. As you can see my nails didnt come out great (and this is after having the guy fix two). My daughter was sat away from me and when I asked her if she was ok, her and I were yelled out and told not to talk by her mani tech. Her whole demeanor changed from excited to afraid. Her pedi tech was much nicer and made her feel better. Her flower fell over as soon as she was seated at the dyer. She started after me and was down with both services very quickly and was charged FULL price. I had the same tech for mani and pedi and he was not friendly and also painted the wrong color on my toes but then fixed it. He was a tad rough with the punching and slapping massage and he didnt attempt to ask me if I was ok it even speak at all to me. Above is maybe a 3 star experience, however it becomes a 1 star at check out when "Johnny or Joey (not sure which one was his name" said to me in front of a full room and my daughter that I should tip one of his options only 20/25/30% percent. In an effort not to complain or talk negatively about the techs, I asked if there was another tip option and I tipped $15 due to be yelled at for talking to my child who was not next to me. The manager Joey said "I just want to let you know that I will be taking money out of the sale to make up for a 15% tip." In front of many people and what I wanted to say is 20% is for great service and 15% is even more than was deserved. Many would have left 10% or nothing! And.......if it wasnt for my daughter who I didnt want to scare, I wouldve honestly walked out when we were yelled at by the tech! After the manager said this to me about the tip, even though my daughter wasnt done drying her toes I told her it was time to leave asap! She left with wet toes and I left with missing polish and a bad experience. I have never had any issues at other nearby salons. Side note- there seems to be videos in all the techs faces and timers at their station and I feel like they get in trouble for not pumping out clients fast enough and maybe this is why all the mistakes. I feel bad for the workers

Anjana Pandarthil I’ve been getting my nails done here since about 6 months now & never had this experience. I very clearly asked for almond shape & mentioned to go for oval if he couldn’t get almond. That guy said he could do it but by the time he finished filing, it looked like cat nails!! I very politely mentioned that this wasn’t the shape i requested, then another lady jumped in & started to yell about me with the manager. Manager told me to shift to the adjacent table as he didn’t want to continue. The lady who was already yelling continued to work on my nails but was mumbling the entire time. Shape wasn’t uniform & she was wayyyyy reckless while filing. All other folks used to put on a last coat of powder after filing but she didn’t do that which resulted in lighter shade. Manager did give me a $5 discount as he understood that I wasn’t at fault. I’m never going back coz the service was utterly rubbish & the tech didn’t even care to apologize!! Tips cost $5 but what’s the point if you file shorter than my original nail?!?! I purposely kept quite coz she was already ranting a lootttttt. I guess her name is ‘Elly’ or something..

Michelle Jostlin So I went there today to get my nails done an the lady I had didn’t even clue the rack tip on she urged nail polish to put them on as clue, then didn’t even shape them to square like I asked. They are able to bend which is not supposed to happen very upset with the services I got an I have been there many time. Paid 54$ to leave will nails that I’m very upset with.. very disappointed probably will not be back again, after my appointment today with them.

Kate R I went yesterday for a pedicure and felt very rushed with my experience. I have been here before for a manicure and the gentleman that did it did an amazing job. Was attentive to detail and asked me if I liked the work. So I decided to return for a pedicure. I purchased one of the upgraded pedicures($50) that included a massage. My person showed me the timer and pressed start and then gathered all the material they needed for the massage. My neighbors timer went off and my person stopped my massage at the same time. They did not ask me if the length was short enough. Only did 1 coat of paint. I have spots that are missing color and it is not even. I was out of there within a half hour and that includes time under the dryer. Not sure if regular pedicures get a small back massage when drying but did not receive that if it was suppose to be included. . The person who checked me out also was very unfriendly. Did not ask me about my experience. Very disappointed

Hannah DiLiberto I recently moved here and needed to find a new nail salon. Sad to say this was NOT IT. I was very disappointed all around. I made an appt for a gel manicure and when I arrived I felt very rushed. I hadnt even selected a color or had time to look through them before they sat me. I ended up asking for a small design on my ring finger - just a few small flowers - and I swear they looked at me like I was crazy. I even showed them a picture! It was just very uncomfortable. They did not file or shape my nail in the way that I wanted. The color is all uneven along my cuticle. The small flowers I showed them were very simple to do - my old nail tech wouldnt have even batted an eye but the design they did looked terrible. When we finished, the edges of my nails were so rough and uneven that I had to go home and file them down and shape them myself. Its been 4 days and the gel is already peeling. Not upset about it though because I wanted to take it off myself almost instantly. Do not go here.

Morgan Albright Went in today with my fiance for two pedicures. I always get tips and gel on my two big toes…well one is longer than the other, one is wider than the other and they’re bumpy and not the way I’m used to. I only go to Walmart and this is exactly why. Not only that but she burnt me twice AND cut me countless times with a nail drill. I spent $100 and left no tip. I’m extremely unhappy.

Ashlee Duclos This was my first visit here. It was clean and I got seated at a pedicure chair right away. However the water was like warm at best and no one glanced in my direction long enough to ask for them to add some hot water. Once the nail tech came over, she was very friendly. The massage is always my favorite part and she didn’t disappoint. Is this place like best ever can’t wait to go back? No, it’s very run of the mill. But my toes look nice, it was clean and fairly priced. I will return.

Leann Moore To start, I usually either get gel manicures or acrylic tip manicures from another salon, but I decided to give them a try because they were right next to my job. We start the ANC manicure I told the lady Sudy I would like short square French nails, for 40 minutes of the time I was correcting her on the shape and design. The French was not neat and it was too straight in some nails & uneven on others. The shape was not square it was duck. My nails are also white instead of that natural pink color. After a while, I gave up and let her do her thing. I paid my money, and as I was getting ready to leave, they asked me for a tip. I simply told them “I do not like my nails, so I will not tip.” One of the other ladies told me “Oh OK do not come back here” She also said “We stayed here after close, Just for you and you don’t tip” if she had done a better job, I would’ve tipped, I understand What it is to do a service and how tips affect the paycheck. Honestly, they are lucky I even paid because this is not what I asked for and these are ugly. I will not be coming back here again. Not worth $60 at all.

Ella Maria LeBlanc Ive been going here for years..I love Kiki shes the main one that gives me a manicure and pedicure but Ive had Lisa and her husband do it as well. I love them all. They do a great job. I usually get a manicure and pedicure but also get my eyebrows waxed and have had the chair massage. My husband gets manicure, pedicure and chair massage as well usually by Lisa. Theyre all very nice, helpful, accommodating. They have taken me late before and stayed late. The salon is always clean and they run sales. I always get compliments on my nails! I really love them and recommend them!

Sissi Sophia I have worn my real nails very long with acrylic for 20+ years straight so you can imagine how many times I have been to the nail salon. These sisters, Kiki and Lisa are FABULOUS! I usually travel 45 minutes to get my nails done because I just dont find the nail salons in Albany very good. Well I will DEFINITELY be coming here again. The service was excellent and they did not rush me even though I came in late in the evening. They stayed past closing to finish my nails. The spa pedicure was so great and came with callous removal, foot massage, hot stones, and paraffin. What a relaxing pedicure. My nails are a big project being so long and natural they arent straight. I banged them up on vacation so they were a lot of work. She squared them off nicely. I am super happy with the whole experience.

I think since they have been under new management they are really doing their best at catering to the needs of clients. So important as I am picky about this kind of thing! Kiana Thomas I got a manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure was supposedly 20% off, but I never got the coupon or any money off and my manicure looks like this (posted photos) on my 25th birthday. I will not be going back ever again. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl with my mom and it has never been that bad. They couldn’t even sign my graces reward card to get my next discount. The only one who does a good job is the man, Because he gives good feet and legs massage. I’m very upset and disappointed. I asked for no gel nails multiple times and over and over both ladies raised there voices to me telling me they knew what was better and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I just wanted anc. They told me gel would look better and they been doing it so theh know better than I do. The gel nails are like tinted like it doesn’t match my skin tone at all both of my hands look like this. It came out to be $81 dollars and I had tips ON when I came in all they had to do was a touch up. I’m very upset about my nails but i guess my toes look okay tho…

Cynthia Leonard I’ve been going here for several years now have always got a pedicure and a manicure with ANC tips. I took a break from my usual for about 5 months and decided to go back to find they remodeled everything to more massages etc which is fine gotta go where the business is. But I was sadly unpleased because well the pedicure was great and as it always is when I went to get my nails done the woman seemed she didn’t know how to do the tips or know where the colors of the ANC were. Eventually a man came in yelling whom worked there and sat down angrily and was starting up on my nails. He was angry, yanking my hand, he was rushing and messed up a few times because he was rushing and had to go back I ended up being there for 2.5 hours just mainly trying to get the ANC done. Once he put the ANC on he left and the woman took over again when I tried to explain to her that they put the wrong colors on she couldn’t understand what I was saying. I tried explaining it the best I could and she still didn’t understand. So I got stuck with nails I didn’t want, and experience I didn’t appreciate, I also spent 115. Which is more than I’ve normally paid in the past. To top this off it’s only been one week since I got them and two of my nails have popped off as if they were press on nails from the dollar tree! Sounds like it’s time to find a new nail salon. If anyone has suggestions greatly appreciated.

Jinhan Fu I did several times of nail painting there, good quality and each time last about one and a half month. They are friendly and I really like my new nail paintings. I will recommend to each of my friend who wanna find a perfect place to do the nail painting. Ready for next time!

Abi They are pushy which is always a bad sign. I just needed a 3 nails fixed, still took an hour. Yet it was a sloppy job. The woman laid the tip so badly, theres space under between my nail and the tip. She made a mess of glue on my hand, you can see the bump on my nail and she cut my finger with the filer. They really cant do ANC. I got tried once before and it was bad but this was an emergency. They kept pushing a gel manicure... but I wont be back.

Aesthetic Grill HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I recently visited Central Hair & Nails and was very disappointed with the service I received. Upon walking in, I requested a mani-pedi, only to be rudely told to "go sit down" by the guy at the desk. After waiting for over an hour with my earbuds in, he yelled “YO” at me to get my attention and directed me to the pedicure station. The lady who did my toes was kind, but she kept trying to upsell me to a more expensive pedicure package. Despite opting for a regular pedicure, the nail polish application was bumpy and uneven. When it came time for my manicure, they insisted I get the A&C treatment, which cost more and made the French tips I wanted difficult to achieve. The technician cut me twice and repeatedly complained about the small size of my nails, making me feel uncomfortable. She accidentally over-filed one nail and had to redo it, which only made it look worse. The end result was extremely disappointing: my nails were uneven, and my fingers were left covered in nail residue, dried out, and even bleeding in places. To top it off, I was charged $100 for this subpar experience. I left feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. I wont be returning to Central Hair & Nails and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality nail service.

Lia Lawson Firstly, i tried to tell the person who did my nails that one of the colors ON ONE NAIL was too light and that i had wanted a darker one. Granted, i had chosen that color, BUT it wasnt until i saw it on my nail that i realized that it was a light transparent color, with gold glitters. I had originally thought that it was a solid gold glitter color, but instead it was transparent with gold glitters. I did not like it and i expressed the dislike to her, she then got all angry saying "thats what you paid for" at this point, she had only placed the color on one nail and the gel wasnt even applied yet, it wouldnt have costed her anything extra in terms of money or time to redo ONE nail. Then after going back and forth with her for a few minutes, she went on to speak in her language with her colleague, obviously talking about me in their language. On top of that, after she finished doing my nails, the color on that nail was transparent, you can see my actual nail through it (i had gotten a regular gel manicure, i have black on all fingers with the exception of one finger on both hands that i got in gold, the gold colored nail is the color i had a problem with, as stated above). I was unsatisfied. And in addition to this, some of my nails werent polished with full coverage. Around the corners of my nails are not fully covered on some fingers, and the black polish on my thumb finger nail has a kind of drainage effect to it in one corner (after only 3 days of getting them done) Which in all my years of getting gel manicures, has NEVER happened before. Oh YEA, and i forgot to mention that she was rushing, when i was the only one in the salon getting my nails done at that point. There were no other customers at the time, and i felt like she sped through doing my nails. This is the first time going to that salon and it will certainly be my last. This is also the first time that i have gone to a nail salon and left unsatisfied, and the first time that i have ever felt the need to give a bad review on a nail salon. If there was a zero stars option i would have chosen it.

D G So the lady that owns this place used to work at Melissas nails. I used to go to Melissas Nails all the time but now my regular Tech that I saw is not there anymore. Ive always had a pretty good time at Melissas Nails. At work one day of coworker of mine told me to go here and her nails looked pretty good. So I went and found out it was the lady that you still work at melissas, I was hesitant and scared of what my nails were going to look like. Being I had my daughter with me and she was excited to get her nails done, I got us both done anyway. My daughters nails came out okay. Mine were horrific. I didnt even take a picture of my nails thats how bad they looked. I had her cut my shape from my natural coughing shape of my nails, to a claw now. When she started to reshape an acrylic my nails they were crooked, very thick. Not even. That was before the painting and everything as well. When she put the acrylic on my nails she wrapped them under my nails which I still have to this day because Im afraid for anybody to try to file it out and absolutely ruin my real nail, as someone else has done that to me before. Ill try to see if I can find a picture somewhere but I doubt I took one. I got them redone not too long after that... I would absolutely not recommend this salon. Even though the owner is very sweet, very nice. Her skills are not that well.

Lxya This place is horrible, they are racist and very rude they also messed up my nails, my real nails hurt so badly and they left nail glue all over my hands. They also didn’t finish painting my nails some look crooked and big. Left this white stuff in my nail. I just got them done yesterday, DO NOT COME HERE

Yostina Henain the staff was so sweet i loved them but the work is not it. i asked for almond shape nails, i got round shape and it wasn’t even. it wasn’t the length i told her to stop at. i’ve been to several nail salons, i’ve done different lengths and shapes and this has been by far the worst. i am a college student that dropped $50 on nails i don’t like.

Tawana Pouncey When I started going here the service was fast but good. I would leave happy with their work & my nails looked great. The last few times the service was fast & sloppy. During my last visit I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment but had to wait nearly 40 minutes because staff was late. The nail tech cut me with the file because she was rushing. She didn’t seem to know how to do ANC, 4 of my nails had huge bulges. She tried to fix them but was annoyed that I pointed out how bad they looked. I won’t be going back.

Jennie Smythe I’ve come a couple times this summer. My experience today was awful. Staff didn’t really listen to what I requested my nails to look like and rushed through the service even though there were only two other ppl in the salon. Very disappointed bc I paid for anc and the nails aren’t completely covered and the shape is just poorly done. This will be my last try here. They do feetvalrught but you have to get maybe the one or two ppl who can do a good job otherwise you won’t be happy.

gabrielle galluzzo I honestly feel ripped off my nails look awful. I cant believe I paid 56 dollars for a sloppy pedicure and gel polish manicure. Im supposed to be in a wedding today and my nails look atrocious. Will never be returning to this nail salon. Also it looked very dirty in there lots of other peoples dead skin around the pedicure tubs. Dirty towels on the floor. Just overall not a good experience. Towards the middle of my manicure the man of the shop im assuming the owner kept telling the girls to hurry up my paint job was so rushed and it shows. Very disappointed.

Melissa S. This place was recently renovated and it looks clean and inviting. I chose this place over the other nail salon. The other place was crowded, loud and too bright. It was my first time having a pedicure. The message chairs were really comfortable. The foot bath was nice warm water. The multicolor lights in the water were really fun. They used nice lotions and even massaged my legs! The staff were pleasant and nice—especially Kate. She took good care of my boyfriends pedicure. The had the Olympics on the TV which was relaxing and not too distracting. There was nice heater for my feet and legs while I waited for the nail polished to harden at the UV light bench. Very thoughtful! Thank for such a wonderful time!

Mrs. Grey Actually really dissatisfied w the nails I got done here tonight.. I’ve come here a few times before and mind you they were never always 100%, but I’ve never even in my life had my nails done THIS badly. They are chunky, lopsided and the lengths are all off. Some of them are even pointing UP. Like what?? I don’t even understand how that happens. Also they look like chiclets when they’re supposed to be coffin, which is an up charge. I was going to try and fix them with a file at home, but upon further inspection- I cannot fix them as I’d literally have to file the gel off in order to make them less chunky and all be even with one another. Oh- she also did the wrong color which I didn’t realize how dark it was until the 2nd coat of gel was applied. It wasn’t a big deal as I still like this color, but not what was requested and the nails look so bad in general that I figured I’d also throw that in there. Be sure YOU check the numbers again before they apply the color so you don’t make the same mistake I did. I get that it’s late and you wanna leave- but I shouldn’t have been taken if I was an inconvenience. I will be back tomorrow afternoon for either a fix on the nails that look insane or I will be receiving a partial refund. I will update this review after my departure so I can share how they chose to handle this situation.

Ken Crandall Ive been going to Lee regularly for about a year now and I cant say enough good about them. My usual stylist is Diem who is wonderful. But, Ive had other stylists and they are all terrific. I always get acrylics with gel polish. I like to get unique & attractive designs. Diem always has good recommendations and I ALWAYS leave happy. I get compliments all the time on my nails. Last but not least, the prices are very reasonable. Overall, I cannot say enough about Diem & Lee Nails. Walking in is like walking into a friends home. Dont let the fact that this is a "mall salon" keep you from checking them out. You will be happy you gave them a chance.

Taleaya Miles Absolutely terrible! I asked for a gel mani/pedi and the woman who did them painted my entire finger! When I asked her to clean up the finger she got upset and walked away. She continuously told me I had to soak off my tips after I told her my nails were natural. She got upset when I told her I only wanted two coats of color not three. Then when I showed her that she filed my toe mail unevenly she responded “it grow back no worry”. I absolutely do not recommend! If you’re in need of a quick mani/pedi, find a different salon.

Shanice Helena Paid $73 for the worst nails ever! Gave her a simple design and she wouldnt even give her mistakes. Lines are shakey and the nail polish isnt filled in enough. Now I can see the bottom of the polish. Will never go back here. Now I gotta fix them myself. and its my birthday SMDH

Beth Levy Went here today with someone else and it was just after it opened. There was one other customer. It was very rushed. There wasn’t anyone behind us. I repeated at least three different times that I wanted ANC and ended up with gel because I wasn’t being understood. The manicurist left blank spots on my nails that I had to ask her the fix three different times. There is already small cracks in my polish and it’s only been a few hours. I can’t say that the price I paid of $50 was worth it. My manicurist was in a rush to just go back to a chair to sit and put on her headphones. I will not being coming back.

Kelsie Neal DO NOT GO HERE. The worst manicure I ever had in my life. I was there right when they opened and they had one other customer. The lady that did my nails was rushing like there was a line out the door. Didn’t even take the time to file them properly. My 9 year old could have done a better job. Not only was the manicure horrible the place is dirty! Do not waste your money here, not worth it!!!!

Iris Duggan My aunt came here for a manicure and told me all about her experience, I was very surprised because she usually never has issues with nail salons. All of her nails were very rough when she left. There were also little bits of fuzzy things sticking to them. A few hours later, her polish was already messed up. All of the flip-flops looked used and dirty. Everything there just looked unsanitary. Ive never been here myself, but after hearing her experience, I would definitely not come here.

Kateri Turner The most expensive ANC nails I ever paid for and they literally all started peeling 10mins later.. TEN MINUTES. I’ve gotten my nails done for years and peeling has never happened to me. I just walked in thinking I was saving time when shopping one day - avoid this place if possible.
