The salon is beautifully designed, with modern, clean decor and a serene vibe that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a luxury spa. The manicure and pedicure services were nothing short of exceptional. The technicians were highly skilled and took their time to ensure every detail was perfect. My nails have never looked so flawless—clean, precise, and beautifully shaped. They even offered a variety of premium polishes, including some trendy colors I hadn’t seen elsewhere, which was a nice touch. The pedicure was equally amazing; my feet have never felt so soft and rejuvenated. I appreciated the attention to detail and the relaxing massage that came with it. What really stood out to me was the level of care and professionalism. Brittany Johnson It was my first time at this salon and it had been suggested by someone who lives in my building. First impression, it was gorgeous! For such a big space is was very clean and well taken care of! The staff was very friendly, offering drinks upon arrival and a place to hang my coat. I went with the nail tech Madi who was an absolute doll! I am very picky with the shape of my nails and she made sure each nail was too my liking. Her work was beautiful and I can’t wait to go back to see her for my next set! I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for your nails to be done. It is a little bit more expensive than other places, but you get what you pay for and I would say it is worth the price.

Cree Payton I wanted to wait a little bit before I posted to see how my nails would hold up and also see if the place lives up to the hype. I will say this is probably one of the best manicure experiences I’ve had. The studio space alone is absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean. The staff are also very nice and friendly. I love that they offer you complementary drinks like tea, coffee, or even champagne if that’s your thing just to make the experience even better. I got a gel manicure from Umida who was beyond super sweet and very knowledgeable in terms of knowing what color is good for my nails and ways to make them nails grow and stay healthy. She was also very patient in my process of picking a color cause I can be quite indecisive and she did a stellar job. I get compliments on my nails and the color. It’s been two weeks, & I have not had any chipping of the polish nor breakage of the nails. I will definitely be returning so I think it’s safe to say they’re worth the money and the high praise!

The appointment was really easy to get. I got a wash and dry with a layered blowout at the end. I loved the end result and so did those around me. I would definitely recommend that people go.

Casey Walsh I personally had never been to a place that does Russian manicures and I was super excited. I had heard so much hype online I was Almost nervous it wasn’t going to live up to the amount of hype it got, however it was absolutely worth it! My Tech Sally did an amazing job and was very detailed. I enjoyed talking to her and she also talked me through the process and gave me tips. I sadly live in another state but next time I’m in NYC I’m 100% coming back.

Kristen (Gypsy Monkey) Heard this place does the Russian Manicures so I decided to try it out . Very happy with how they turned out . Monica is who did mine and she was wonderful . Please know though that it’s on the second floor and there are stairs just in case mobility is an issue for you . Lovely spot that I will return too .

Wichuda McConnell A go-to spot for both My daughter and me! The staff is super courteous and kind. My daughter one brought in a design she wanted vthat requires hand painting and it was done perfectly. I love doing powdered gel here, they are very gentle with the way they handle the tool, not rough like other places. I never once got niched or cut by mistake. The collections of colors and options for various designs like cat eye for example are super diverse, making it very hard to choose. The space is well managed, very cleaned and organized. The work atmosphere is very collaborative; they learn from one another and have positive interaction with the owner.

Bee Me This may be my new favorite spot. Just went with my partner for a mani-pedi b-day week kickoff. They took great care of us. Customer service was beyond excellent, staff was very attentive & the prices are super reasonable. I asked before hand if it was okay to bring in a little champagne and we really got a VIP Treatment. The massages were great & the nails look good. After a long day of stress at work this was really a wonderful relaxing treatment for both of us. Will def be coming back and trying other services.

thalia The only reason I tried this nail spot out was because of the reviews. Plus I’ve been seeking for a nail spot around the area. Since I live around here, and it would be convenient for me. I was beyond disappointed with the entire service. I asked for 2 designs and before hand I asked the lady if she was able to do them if not then she didn’t have to do them. She agreed and said she was able to. I arrived at 5:30 for my nail appointment and didn’t leave until 8ish. Yet she was not able to do the design. The nails were not clean it was very sloppy and I still had to pay $15 for the design. The lines of the other nail were very uneven and thick. The lady had to redo them almost 3 times and during that I did tell her if she is not able to do them then she can just paint them but she insisted she can. I figured maybe she is learning and why not let her keep trying. I also noticed how everyone who got their nails done where given shoulder massages. Once I paid for my nails I asked the owner if the massages were extra cost her respond was that it’s included when you do your nails. I mentioned I did not get one. As a first time customer this did not sit well with me at all. As unsatisfied as I was I did tip the lady and paid for the nail service as well as the extra $15 for the designs that were not what I asked. I was extremely disappointed in this nail salon.

Marigolds I am so happy I found Elaines Nails. Id been looking for a nail studio that does gel design that wouldnt break the bank. The prices are so affordable and as long as you call ahead you never have a long wait. Every staff member that has done my nails is clearly very skilled and Elaine is a doll. Dora Limongelli My nails broke after 1 week of receiving a structured manicure. I called and they fit me in for a nail fix which they didnt charge me for (rightfully so). However, I did compensate the nail tech for her time. A week later I noticed 2 more nails breaking and when I called I was told that they could move my appointment up and give me a 15% discount being that it would only have been 2 weeks since last manicure. I agreed because I wanted to give them another chance but I never even got a call back to reschedule my appointment. When I called to follow up I sensed an attitude like I was being annoying. Im sorry but to spend almost $100 on nails that dont even last 2 weeks is insane. If she was a serious business owner she wouldve made it a point to get me in asap especially since I was willing to pay again. This left a very bad taste and I refuse to beg anyone to accept my business.

Xitlalli B If you want a nicely done design, sure this is the place for you. But if you want a good manicure, this might not be the spot for you. I feel okay about my design but the i feel as if my nails don’t look clean, and weren’t given a proper manicure. I didn’t say anything because i thought it might’ve been excess powder from SNS that just needed to be washed off. But it hasn’t even been a week with my nails and they don’t even look fresh. I prefer a well done manicure over just a pretty design. I give it two stars because the receptionist is the sweetest and made me feel so welcomed.

Gaona Priscilla Juliette “PEJOTA” I haven’t been here since July and I don’t miss it. One of the techs there loves cutting toe nails at a slanted angle, when I ask her to cut it down she does a tiny millimeter instead of a noticeable difference… the pedicure process is so messy because they have to balance their uv lights on the edge of the pedi sink or something else instead of having it on a stand like other places. The seats for pedicures are regular chairs instead of spa pedicure chairs that massage you. I have to sit at the edge of it for the nail tech to reach my foot. Oh oh what also annoys me about several techs there is that when they’re scrubbing your feet during a pedicure they do it extremely lightly and half assed it really feels like no effort is put in. One tech that I do like there is Flor. Sorry for this review but I had to get this off my chest I’ve been going there for almost a year and have left angry so many times. Just kept trying to give another chance because the place is clean the employees are overall nice and respectful and they have a good selection of nail colors + it’s the closest spot to my house. But never again.

America Mejia Literally the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! And I’ve tried them all!!! They have in my humble opinion (as someone who’s been getting their nails done for over 15 yrs) the best nail techs out there! They never miss! And Natty is extremely accommodating when it comes to scheduling and rescheduling appointments!! Truly the best I can’t say it enough!

I never experimented with nail art before CNS, and that’s due to the ease, quality and willingness of team to explain what’s what lol. I started with regular polish, moved onto gel-x and now I’m committed to hard gel. Plus, the entire team is filled talented artists, every set is better than the last and I ALWAYS get compliments.

taylor fultz literal best experience of my life!! i got a pedicure with a foot massage and then a gel manicure which also included a little back and hand massage. i am so relaxed, everyone was so nice, and my nails look great!!! coco was amazing. cant wait to go back.

I had a pedicure and they spent more time and effort with exotic sense. I had pineapple then another place that charged me a lot more and the other place did a lot less. Touka Medjoubi I am relatively new to this place but I am happy with the outcome! Koko, Helen, etc are very nice and attentive to your nails and other services like wax!! I would recommend this place to a friend! I have done powder gel manicure and I really like it! I also did half arm wax. Apart from the fact that she spent more than 4 hours in the salon because the glue did not stick to the nail and kept popping off, she gave them another opportunity to fix 4 damaged nails (@ additional cost). It hasn’t even been 10 hours since they fixed her damaged nails and at night while she was sleeping 2 more nails popped off, I am really disappointed with the job they did. The design is beautiful but the job wasn’t done right

Montana Balzer This was a pretty unfortunate experience. The place was clean but within 2 weeks, my nails are falling apart. This is after a new acrylic set I received 2 weeks ago. I spent 100 dollars before tax/credit card fees for one nail color with no design, just 2 fingers with tips, and a full set acrylic. This place is too expensive for the quality. The color presented wasn’t the same color on the nail. And after my nails were done, the nail tech refiled every nail which I never experienced before and did not like. I usually do not write reviews like this. But spending that much for something that couldn’t even last 3 weeks is upsetting. I did get my toes done from here also for a gel pedicure. So far they are holding up fine and I thought for a gel pedicure that they are reasonably priced. But I would never come back for an acrylic manicure again.

Jesus, I had a lot of bad experiences in my neighborhood specially Chinese place. I am a Asian and not a racism person, but some place was really really disappointed. So, Im usually going to Manhattan for getting my nails and toes. Today, I visited UTOPIA nail. I was so happy. There are super clean, elegant and nice-simple interiors. And also the staffs were very nice and welcoming. The girl, Veronica, who did my manicure seemed like very professional!! I like her job a lot!!! All of staffs wore gloves for working. There has a autoclave for sterilization. Cleanliness is one of the issues I like this place. There is only one inconvenience thing. That is 15 to 20 mins commute from my house by walking, but it is not a big deal. Otherwise is very very nice. Utopia will be my favorite place. I definitely go back Utopia soon for my pedicure. I am very sure. I highly recommend this place!!! You would love this place.

The salon environment is clean and tidy, with tools neatly arranged, which gives an immediate sense of professionalism. The nail technicians skills are truly superb. The hand - painted patterns they create are vivid, and the rhinestones they apply are both secure and delicate. I had an extended nail service. The nail shape was beautifully and naturally trimmed, without any sense of heaviness at all. After getting my nails done, my friends kept asking me where I had them done. Ive already recommended this salon to my girlfriends!

Jingya It was a great experience and probably the only great manicure I’ve gotten in my life. My nail tech was Louis and he was able to pull off the design I wanted. I have seen so much progress in their professionalism, the service, the quality, and the experiences of technicians, which make the size of their salon, the luxury appearance, and the price make complete sense! The owner of the salon and lead technicians take on going training in and out of state to keep up with the latest trends. So yes, it’s not your average nail salon if you’re just looking for a typical store that is cheap and empty on a Monday afternoon. It’s the kind of salon that is worth the call-ahead. Sometimes it’s actually the only place I can get certain styles done. So 5/5 all the way.

Jenny Gao Beware: do not go to this place if you want to end up having you nails peel off less than a week. I did my gel manicure (CAT EYE) on 2/15. They charge me $75 for this!! The index finger started to chip on 2/17 I went back to had it replaced. And then today, less than a week. These two fingers started to peeled off. This is ridiculous that I paid $75 and plus a $15 tip.,, for this.. seriously if there is zero star i would totally give them zero star. I believed her name is Crystal, the one who did my nails. I think she only did one coat for my nails. Which is huge rip off consider for the price I paid. Overall go somewhere for better service and nails not going to peel off less than a week.

I usually do my nails with Irena & she is phenomenal!! They have so many colors to chose from and can do basically any design you show them! All the girls there are very friendly & they offer coffee while you get your nails done. Quality customer service!!! I always say you get what you pay for and at Lily’s nail studio that is definitely true, I always look forward to my next nail appt!

She also took her time to file the base down to perfection. I wasnt sure which chrome I wanted, and she tried on different options and was patient with me choosing. Just to note: chrome is pricey here with, an extra $20. Other than that, definitely would recommend!

Natalie Perez Absolutely terrible experience! I got a gel fill, and my nail broke the very next day. When I returned for a fix, a man added a tip that was significantly shorter than my other nails. I pointed this out several times, but he insisted it was fine. When I expressed my frustration, he laughed and continued painting my nails instead of addressing the issue. To top it off, the sides of my nails werent even painted properly. I’m really disappointed!

They do a great job most of the time but if you want designs they charge per finger which is fine but I had an incident where I just came from vacation and done my nails on vacation. The nail tech couldn’t takeoff the acrylic nails so a Male nail tech came to do it and it just seem he was rushing it and he use the machine too harsh on my nail where I felt it was burning me told him to just leave it alone and that nail was so red. He also was speaking in his language with other nail techs, and they will look at me and laugh, which made me think they are talking about me, but I thought it’s probably about the nails so whatever. Then an Asian client sat next to me to get her nails done, and when she heard them speak, she was shocked and looked at me as well and looked away. Her friend was sitting next to her and I overheard her say to friend “what they are saying is wild I cannot tell you now I’ll tell you later”. It definitely left me with a sour taste. Then that Male nail tech left to take another client and went to do that clients pedicure and I was just left there for 30 minutes. A Hispanic nail tech just finished with her client and came over and asked if anybody helping me I explained that he was but he left to another client so she just stepped in and took over. She was very nice and did my nails exactly how I wanted but the rest of the nail tech I can’t say the same for them. After a while when my nails grew out that nail hurt a little for a couple of days and broke so easy it felt paper thin. I give them 2 stars because I have been going here for over a year now and like I said they do a good job but after that experience not worth giving my money to them. I am so happy I gave it a shot! They did a great job with the shape and color. Additionally, I was able to be seen right away. The appointment was about an hour which was great for an after work appointment. Looking forward to coming back to get serviced again!

Joanna Makayan I have been here many times before when I lived in the area and the one day I decided to go back, I had the worst experience EVER. I had my SNS powder removed, but during the process, Jenny did not do a good job. First, she did not even soak my nails in acetone then tore off my first and second finger nails of my right hand while attempting to ply off the SNS powder with an acrylic nail. Then she used the electric nail file on my dry nails, so of course it hurt when she filed too deep and I told her it hurt and even flinched; but no acknowledgment or apology. I wanted to do SNS powered again, but I told her I would just do a regular manicure since 2 of the nails were already short. The first finger of my right hand, she attempted to file but obviously that’s the nail she tore off so I knew the skin was torn and I hope I do not get an infection. When it came time to pay, she did not hand me my full change and held onto her “tip” even after I asked her how much everything cost. I honestly should have gotten up and left after the few times I flinched and told her my nails hurt. I am very disappointed and should have asked to be seen by Cici instead. But I don’t think I will come back again.

They do not charge for removal if you get your new nails done there. My nails were filed and shaped so well. Very affordable. I signed up for their membership card, too. Will definitely be back. This is now my favorite nail spot in the area.

T R I’ve been coming here recently since my gym is near by. I get dip powder which is $42 (cash price). I usually call the day of to make an appointment and they always manage to get me in, which is awesome. The nail techs are all nice for the most part. One of them kept burning me when she removing my previous dip powder with that tool they use and she didn’t really get the hint but other than that, all the nails techs I’ve had there do a good job!

Stephanie C. Overall my experience here was not the best. I went in for an appointment for gel-x nails on Wednesday 04/24. I already knew what design I wanted done so when asked about colors/shape/etc. I showed them the picture of what I wanted done. They told me it was too complicated so they would try but couldn’t promise it would be good , personally I appreciated the honesty from the nail tech. I had other inspiration pictures on my phone for nail sets so I asked if they could do something else that would b simpler , the picture below shows the white abstract French nail design I wanted. The nail tech told me that would be fine, it was much simpler and she could do it. So I proceeded to get my nails done. However halfway through the service she starts telling me that she was going to do something else on my nails that would in her words “be better” and similar . I told her again that I really wanted the design I showed and she told me she would do the design she wanted to do first because the 2nd picture I showed her was still too complicated. And that if I really didn’t like it then she would try to do what I requested. This was all said with an annoyed attitude from her. At this point I started getting frustrated because I don’t understand why she would say she could do the design only for her to change her mind halfway through. Throughout the rest of the service she continued to make comments about how what she was gonna do would be better , even making comments that the design I chose would not look good because of shape of my nails. This also took up much longer than expected time-wise , she ended up doing a very simple thin French on me. At this point I just accepted it even though it was no where close to what I wanted because I was short on time and really needed my nails done. It also looked decent, it wasn’t what I wanted at all but it looked decent. However today is 04/28 and on at least four nails the paint has begun to chip. Which makes the situation even more frustrating. I was willing to let my bad experience slide , but there is absolutely no reason as to why my nails should be chipping 4 days after I got them done. I would’ve been fine with not getting the design I wanted if the quality of the nails would have been good but clearly it wasn’t.

My nails never break, and they last a long time, like a looonggg time. Their pricing has always been reasonable. CY I never like to get tips or any acrylic/sns powder because I feel like it never looks natural, it’s always too “thick”. I did the ombré set in the color “blush nude” (coffin shape) & let me just say ... it came out amazing! It looks super natural, will go with every skin tone, and match with anything you wear. It was $50 and worth every penny! Emma did my nails so quickly, I was in and out. Here’s the before and after .. I did this set the weekend before quarantine hit, and they lasted me a total of 8 weeks!!

Danielle Boodram Horrible just horrible! Just like another person reviewed only 2 people know how to do nails at this nail salon. They were fully booked so the girl that did my nails did a terrible job! She cut me on 3 of my fingers with the drill and on one of my fingers she pulled off my skin with a nippers! She was very rough and when she cut me I had to ask her to put an antiseptic on my cut. She wasn’t even wearing gloves. I hope I do not get an infection. S. A. First pics is how it came out, last pic is what i originally wanted but settled with just the shape; which I wasn’t given. After reading the reviews on here, I went in with High Hopes. I showed them as simple French nail design with a stiletto shape, but they didn’t have the color that I wanted. so I decided to go with a plane shade with a stiletto shape. The nail tech refused for some reason to give me this stiletto shape that I kept asking for. She asked me how I wanted them and I told her and she cut them shorter. Then she proceeded to shape them into an almond shape, and I kept correcting her over and over again about how I wanted them sharper. I got tired by the end and stopped. The nail polish I had picked needed three coats in order for it to be the shade that was displayed on the wall and she only allowed two coats which I didn’t even understand why. The color came out incorrect. It is pink when I should be more of a translucent cherry color. I was so unhappy by the end, but I’m too kind to say so. It was time to pan. I was going to pay by card and the lady literally asked me if I wanted to tip her and I felt like I had to. I didn’t, but I did despite her, not listening to single thing that I wanted. The results are uneven nails as you could see, and nothing close to or the shade of translucent cherry color.They’re pink. It was 55 +5 tip and almost 3 dollars for tax—so like 58 all together

Moxie Harmon I came here in March for a gel manicure. The color selections are very few and the color on your nail doesn’t match the color on the sample. A nice woman named Carmen did my nails. I was not pleased with the way she removed my previous gel manicure by using a metal tool to dig and scrape the color off. My nails did look nice in the end though. Barely two weeks later, the gel started cracking and ultimately ended up breaking one of my nails. I tried to take the gel off home (which I’ve done dozens of times) but this gel would not budge AT ALL. It still even had the shine to it. This has never happened to me. I guess that’s why they use a metal tool to scrape their gel off. Because it’s not easily removed.Anyway, I had to go in sooner than expected for a new manicure. This time Carmen was not there. An older man and woman was there. I assume they are the owners. They both looked at me when I walked in but Neither of them greeted me. So I announced that I wanted a gel manicure and the woman instructed me to pick a color. The woman was working on a pedicure for a little girl and the man, a pedicure for a woman. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS were in the store. After sitting for 15 minutes the woman asked if I had gel on my nails. I told her yes. she responded in an annoyed manner telling me that I should have told her. I kindly told her that she should have asked. She then proceeded to wrap my nails in acetone soaked cotton balls. By that time I’d been there close to a half hour when in walks older woman who was promptly greeted. The Asian woman, now done with the little girl, proceeds to tell me that the lady who just walked in was there before me but she left to go to CVS so she was going to do her nails and I needed to wait for her husband. This did not sit well with me because that lady walked in 30 minutes after me. CVS is directly across the street. I decided not to get my nails done. I did it feel welcomed from the beginning of my visit. Now they put a customer ahead of me. The man was upset. I’m sure he will be fine. I’m African American BTW.

However that is not how you treat a paying customer.

She is very attentive to detail and very skilled at what she does. My current set is pushing 5 weeks and none of the nails are lifting. That speaks volume. You essentially paying for the quality of work, worth every penny.

Valerie I went to DJ nails on Thursday and got the builder gel set done by an older lady who sits in the back. This set is $90 so it is a little expensive but builder gel is to strengthen your natural nails which is what I needed after constantly having acrylic nails, so I did not mind paying. Sadly by Saturday 2 of my nails had lifted and begun to crack. By Monday they had come off. I was disappointed so I called and they were willing to fix it. The guy who fixed my set, Mike was polite and helpful. He actually redid all my nails to ensure this would not happen again and even enhanced the color at no extra charge. He told me if any other problem happens to just come in again. I appreciate that and his customer service.

Crystal Vallecillo Got Gel X nails with hand painted designs and I love how it came out! Mayra is great at what she does. The salon is clean, professional, and offers soooo many different gel colors. I’ve come to this place several times to get pedicures and they always do an excellent job. Finally decided to do my nails after going to someone else for 10+ years and I have no regrets. A little more $$ than I usually pay but you get what you pay for.

Narsamah Besoonat This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL salon ever. I made an appointment for 4/5/24 and I paid 40$ as a deposit to hold my appointment plus I was taxed $1.80 when no service was provided, but I let it go although I was a bit annoyed. So the day before my appointment I called to ask if I can reschedule my appointment, Mayra said, “no I can’t not change my appointment, and if I choose to I would loose my deposit”. Although, I know at most places when a deposit is set to hold an appointment you have 24 hours to make any changes to it- I also let that slide. I told her that okay I don’t have a babysitter can I bring my daughter, as she does not allow children in her salon, which I respected, the reason why I asked. She says “okay, you can bring her”. I thanked her and told her I would see her tomorrow. However, the Mayra calls about an hour before my appointment and was like they have a sewage issue and that I can not come to my appointment, that I would have to use the back door and I would not be able to bring my baby, I said that’s fine can I reschedule my appointment? She goes,”yes you can but you will loose your deposit”, so I said to her, ”I am willing to make my appointment, you are the one canceling on me, why would I loose my deposit ? She then told me to come today, 4/6/24 at 11. When I arrived, no one knew why was I there asking for Mayra because she DOES NOT WORK ON A SATURDAY !! I was livid!! I told them to return me my deposit. So I said to the receptionist that I was charged $1.80 for tax on service that was not provided, I want ALL of my money, she goes well I have to wait until Monday for that when Mayra gets back. At that point, I was SO ANGRY, I told her give me my 40$ so I can go, (which she did). Honesty, I’m not sure if she lied because she didn’t want me to bring my child, but I dont recommend anyone to this nail salon, unless you want to deal with money hungry, greedy people not to mention the disgusting attitude. I used to go to this salon when they just opened a few years back, and they were good, but I guess when a nail tech gets a lot of business, they feel as though they are doing you a favor for free. Also, this was not the first time this has happened which is why I stopped going. The customer service stinks, and Mayra is not very welcoming. Go at your own discretion!!

nastassia mohabir I had the worst experience at Mayra Nail Salon this is the first time having a worst experience, I had gotten Sns Dip powder from Rosa and she shaped the nails very well but I didn’t understand why there was so much drilling your real nails. The sns was only three coats. She used regular clear top coat from Essie which I didn’t understand, isn’t there some special top coat sns uses. So anyway I got them done October 1st so they were good and then coming like over the weekend my thumb nail on the right side cracked. So I’m like why is my nails chipping I just got them done. Called Myra and she said come in and I did. She stated my nail is what cracked the sns, which is strange because I’ve got sns with my nail being weak and it never cracked. So then she fixes it and when she did it was good and strong and thick. So now I went during the week and started seeing my other nails cracking and same thing was happening. So I called back to come and I went in October 12 and told Myra I would like a refund for the nails cause I don’t have time to keep coming back every time and fixing my nails. Told her I’m not paying to fix them. Myra didn’t want to give me a full refund because it’s Ben two weeks. She started being rude. Like it’s not my fault the nails is cracking. I advise anyone doing sns don’t take the chance cause clearly Myra said I’m the only one complaining and how every customer never complains. How they do three coatings of sns. Never will I ever go back, lost money with them and sns nails is terrible of the way they do them. Never will get back my money again.

Catalina Lopez I go for pedicures with Rosa, shes amazing at what she does. Unfortunately, theyre is only two people doing nails, and they ONLY take scheduled appointments (which fill up quickly).

Judy Poochie Helens place has been my go to nail salon for about 6 years now. Her staff work very hard and Helen is always there to help translate what you want if need be. I suggest you make your appointment early and arrive on time. Prices are fair. Parking is a pain. Got these done today: coffin shape power dip set for $40.

Erin Catherine I needed a last-minute pedicure for an event and Rosa was so sweet to get me in the very next day. I was so grateful to her for going out of her way to book the service on what was supposed to be her day off. As for the service itself, Rosa took her time to pamper me with the full spa treatment (exfoliation, massage, mask, etc) and gave my nails a lovely pop of color for the summer. Will absolutely be coming back here!

Lauren Martindale Rosa is very sweet and they do not charge to remove preexisting gel, however, on the phone I was told a gel pedicure was $30 but at the salon I was told $35. Not a huge price shift but I don’t like being misinformed because I’ll never know if it was a gimmick to get me through the door. The pedicure seating is not adjustable and made of wood (there’s a cushion) with no place to rest your head. The place you rest your feet is the corner of a marble edge. Highly uncomfortable. The other girl working seemed to only be comfortable with Rosa answering the phone although they both speak English. This resulted in me being left with cold or unattended feet over 5x within 10 min which was a bit frustrating. I was also dissatisfied with how my toes turned out. My big toenails were filed slanted and the white polish is gappy as in there are visible gray areas. I wouldn’t go back.

Stephens Rosa seems nice on the outside. But shes very unreliable. I called otp before I went in and she said I could come in earlier if I wanted but I kept my appointment. When I got there on time she took another customer because she thought I didnt show up earlier. When I said I could wait she refused and said she could no longer take me for the day. That was only around noon. Glad I didnt end up using her. If you insist to use their services, make sure youre super clear on the time since they dont honor the appointment system and are wishy-washy with customers.

Christine T Stopped by for a pedicure and a full set powder manicure while visiting my son. The salon is less than a 2 min walk from where Im staying and I have to say the reviews are legit. Cici fit me in and was so patient. By far the best session Ive had in years! Thank you so much!

Joann Wang Started coming here in 2022 after being rescheduled 3x by my last nail spa, and I absolutely love it here. They have a friendly, no-nonsense attitude, and really try their best. They’re very popular and get super busy during the weekends though so I highly recommend making an appointment in advance and showing up ON TIME. If you’re coming here during the weekdays, it gets busy after 5pm. I noticed that best time was on weekdays when they first open. They also have an awesome rewards points system where you can redeem different kinds mani/pedis and special treatments after spending a certain amount. I thought this was very unique and FAIR compared to other point systems that go based off visits (cus a $20 mani shouldn’t earn the same points as an $80 powder).

Em Cee I’ve been a customer here for a while with no complaints, but today was a major letdown. All I asked for was a simple sns manicure. My nails came out with visible texture and spots that weren’t fixed, now I will be going to a different salon this week to get them redone. I’ve attached photos to show the issues. And no, it wasn’t my fault, they messed up on the top coats and drying process. The tech said the spots came from the salons dip powder products. Also I was unable to use my loyalty card for a free manicure because “it’s not allowed on weekends.” Given that my nails weren’t done properly in the end, I would’ve appreciated the gesture of receiving the free service, especially since my card was fully stamped. They gave me a little discount because I asked them for it, but I felt they were just being greedy. Customer service and satisfaction is everything and today I was unimpressed, so I will not return.

kat I loveeeee coming to get my nails done here! Mariana is the best and after finding her, I would never go to another nail place again. You have to make an appointment to come here but I definitely recommend it. I moved and I still come here to see my fave nail tech :) Mariana, thank you for always leaving my nails so good!!

EATGOODNYC INFORMATION I have been going to Queen A Nail Spa for many years and have always had amazing service and quality. Amanda and Leo are absolutely amazing with all nail art. I come to them with crazy ideas and they so their best to achieve what I want! Ive done numerous photoshoots and always get many compliments on how great my nails look! I have also had many pedicures here from normal to spa, and it has always been amazing and relaxing. You cant go wrong!

Mary Smith The service I received was extremely unsatisfactory, warranting a rating of zero if possible. I requested a basic manicure; however, the technician failed to cut or shape my nails and did not apply any lotion. Instead, she merely applied polish to my unprepared nails and appeared to be in a hurry. I am very disappointed with the overall experience and cannot recommend this service.

Brianna Saint-Clair Great pedicure, she was very attentive and did not rush at all. I was a walk in and they took my right away on a Saturday at 6pm. Very relaxing, and nails look great. I paid 42$ for a gel pedicure and removal of previous gel. I would definitely recommend

Fianna Avila Ive come here a few times . Honestly its a no frills salon get in and get out . The pedicure lady is amazing. I had my hands done by jade this time n I loved them . Im picky I dont mind tipping well based on service. I like nude and neutrals so you can see every bump if dine poorly .The women I use to see there isnt there anymore. N Ive tried other people who are nowhere near as skilled in this salon n others . I honestly hated the work . But the location is essential n Im busy. Id see her again she was fantastic.

Stacy I am not very happy with my experience here. Firstly I called and made an appointment ahead of with a specific person. They even said “doesn’t matter who does your nails here, everyone is good”. Lo and behold when I go for my appointment somebody completely different does my nails. I mention this is for a wedding. I show a photo of what I wanted (shorter oval shape) and got something very different (long and pointy). They even said they do not have baby pink. That is a basic color. And the glue is very chunky and visible under my nail. I would never go back, not even to have them try and fix it.

I was seen immediately for a gel pedicure and manicure and the manicure was done while I was doing the pedicure. This was super convenient and service was done efficiently. Janet I had a really good experience at Parsons Nail Spa and I definitely recommend it to others! Krystal was super nice and friendly, she did an amazing job with the design I wanted. She was very patient from start to finish, and so were the other employees there! I felt comfortable at the salon because the space was pretty big and clean as well. I really liked the atmosphere here. My gel extensions lasted for so many weeks without chipping. Overall, you wont be disappointed if you come here!

A K I normally go here to do a mani and brows and its never a problem. Yesterday I went and did it and the attendant didnt seem to really be paying attention to her job. I left with the skin around my brows burning and woke up today to find that that the skin had gotten burnt from the wax. When I went back to ask for a refund they told me next time threading no wax, gave me A&D ointment and didnt give me a refund on top of it. Would not recommend.

We booked a manicure + pedicure from their web site where it says that it is a 1 hour treatment while they did everything in 15 mins and then asked us to pay 88$ instead of 80$ because we wanted to pay by card. On top on all of this they were extremely unfriendly and kept on talking loudly in mandarin.

Sharon Llivichuzca This is my third and last time coming to this nail salon. Sweet people but theres just a lot of reasons as to why you shouldn’t waste your money here. The main reason are that they do not follow the health guidelines. I have caught them twice using unwashed products on their customers. And Second is that the lady who was giving me a manicure was rushing so much that she cut my thumb (as you can see in the picture). Tried to like this place but… unfortunately it’s not a good nail salon.

Tahmina Akbar They don’t know how to do acrylic nails. Gel is fine, but don’t go here for acrylic. Lady cut me in two places due to rough filing. I had to point out mistakes with leveling my nails. It wasn’t smooth and bumpy. She even sucked at putting on the nail polish. My nails ended up looking bulky and bumpy.

Charisma Colon I usually frequent this nail salon for my gel mani and regular pedi. This has never happened to me with a gel manicure from this establishment till now. I went last Monday to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure and within 1 week the polish lifted from the area around my cuticles. So much so that some have chipped. Maybe the polish or base was old, who knows. However this was the first time that my gel manicure didn’t last more than two weeks from La Queen.

Shoma Persaud This place is disorganized and the half the staff is just horrible. I took my sister for a filling and pedi, they kept skipping her to get her filling because they simply didnt want to do the 3D design she wanted on 2 nails!!! They kept telling her to ask someone else. We were there for 2 hours for them to ignore her request. They do a half ass job with new sets. If you dont want the gel or powder they try to force you. In the end we ended up leaving because I am not tolerating their ignorance and pretend they dont understand what you are asking them. Oh and the pedicurist user cuticle oil instead of lotion on our feet. I am slipping and sliding like no tomorrow right now. This place will definitely on my NO GO List!!!

Hannah Hernandez What I asked for vs what I got, wth even is that. There’s literally no paint :/ I kid you not they put a hello kitty on my finger and gave me a clear top coat when I asked for a French tip with a simple design. They couldn’t shape the nail properly at all, the apex of the nail is literally nonexistent and they use extreme c curve nails. They flooded my cuticles with acrylic and top coat and left me with glue all over my hands, they used different nail sizes on each hand. Everyone is crammed in next to each other with no personal space and on top of each other. The nail tech was being so rough that my fingers have so many tiny cuts and they had the audacity to put alcohol on them to try and remove the nail glue. On top of all of that… I just got home and my pinky is throbbing with pus coming out of it. This place is legit a safety hazard, absolutely do not come here if you want to have a good experience.

Tandi Singh I have been going here for about 3 years now. Used to always have a great experience with Susana. She left because of covid and moved away. Now I go to digna who is amazing! She takes care with the toes really well and is wonderful with designs. We have had fun over the past year with dots and flowers. Now you have to pay for the design. Frustrating! Its crazy. NOW their prices have FROM $42 TO $50! The free design option is gone! You pay $5 for a design on 2 fingers. The polish they use is terrible. You cant blame the workers. You have to put the responsibility on the owners. My gel polish used to last 2 weeks. The past 5 months its 1 week at best!!! Like I said Digna is great!!! She is very attentive and great with details. Its the stuff they Re given to use. Its really not ok to charge so much and give people substandard polish. Digna is the best... she is patient and always keeps time

Hanna 44 This used to be my go to nail place. I stopped going about 3 yrs ago because I wasn’t happy with the service. I decided to give it another chance recently but after getting my pedi done twice since then, I’m not going back ever. The place isn’t clean at all! And forget about the staff wearing their masks properly; the owner even keeps lowering her mask when taking to customers. Their pedicure is so rushed! They don’t even do the massage anymore! First time I thought that maybe it was a mistake but on my second visit, I didn’t get the leg massage either. I think I was done in 20 min! The manicurist did a decent job painting my toenails but I didn’t get the other services that used to come with pedicures. Not going back.

D. M. Super friendly and nice. Very patient and attentive. Its a rare to see that now-a-days. Michelle did a great job with the waxing and I was very satisfied that she did the job right meticulously. I definitely would recommend the salon and her. I was pleased with the hospitality.

They weren’t even busy… but I timed it, and the whole pedicure took 12 minutes. I don’t know why this woman was in such a rush when I came in, but there wasn’t a single person in the salon. However for some reason she felt the need to get me in and out of the chair as fast as possible. Didn’t even get a leg scrub, she totally skipped over it. Super Disappointed. this is not the time to be pushing customers away as businesses are struggling

Hannah Jones This place gives a horrendous manicure and is unsanitary. I am very low maintenance when it comes to my nails so for me to be unsatisfied with a manicure that means it has to be really bad. I walked in and asked for a regular manicure. No gel, nothing fancy or complicated. At first I was impressed with the nice interior but dont be fooled like I was. I sat at the table nothing had been sanitized or wiped down from the person before me. The tools all came from one dirty bin. The cuticle cutters were given a single spray of what I assume was rubbing alcohol. That was the extent of the sanitization. I am absolutely disgusted and still mad at myself for not walking out. My manicurist was nice and all but did a terrible job. As you can see, my nails, especially my thumb is crooked. There is paint all over the place and not clean and crisp like Id expect. My nails look worse than if I did them myself. There was no hand/arm massage or hot towel. Not even lotion. You can see how dry my hands look in the photos. I tried to ask the manicurist to clean my nails up but she spoke little to no English and did not really understand what I was saying. To be clear, her not speaking English is not an issue for me. Regardless of your language it was/is obvious that my nails looked and needed some cleaning up. To anyone reading this please save your time and money. Walk another couple of minutes down Steinway and go to Heavenly Nails. They do a much better job and are sanitary. A bad manicure is whatever sucks that I wasted money. However, as a healthcare worker myself, what I cannot stand and just ignore is unsanitary conditions. Im considering reporting this place to the Department of Health. In conclusion, AVOID THIS PLACE!

Dr. Chaitanya I wish I have the ability to give no star at all. I had my nails done here and spent 3hrs 30 min paid $120 + $20 tip and they did not do any good still I said Ok! They keep harassing in their Spanish! The flowers start falling off in third picture on first day of my nails and they called me to come Sunday so they will fix and I went and they were closed and today I went to get it fixed after waiting 37 min and in 3 min gal fixed while adding a white flower instead of green as before, filed but did not put nail color as u can see in the picture and golden beads instead of silver and I tipped her again for $5 with no courtesy of correcting and anything. They no good at all! Last time they did good but I don’t see that gal anymore. So, if u speak Spanish go coz it’s a kind of biased place or Spanish preferred place. If u Spanish or Latino u ll get drinks juice and VIP treatment but if u brown plz don’t go u ll be treated as immigrant illiterate coz u won’t speak Spanish and u won’t say anything out of respect and u ll get the cheapest treatment

Samantha Cardenas Place is nice and clean but it took two hours and 15 mins to do a fill and cost 80 dollars. There’s better places to go for quicker and cheaper. Not only this but the skin around my nails is stained after asking several times to clean up around them. I’m sure they will not refund for this either.

Alison Green This is the only place where I get my nails done! I am not sure why there are so many poor reviews, I have always had a good experience here and been coming here for a year! They are quick, affordable (never paid more than $40 for dip) and my nails are the longest and strongest they’ve ever been! Yummy and her team of nail techs are excellent, can’t recommend enough!

Nazly Paytuvi Absolutely terrible place. Once I arrived i told them i wanted acrylic gel, they said only acrylic powder, fine. I asked how much, they said $45. Once i was done, my boyfriend also got a mani, the total cost my bf paid was $70. They charged my set $55 even tho they told me $45 initially. The second we arrived they looked lost, confused and unorganized. I shouldve left. Not to mention my nails look HORRIBLE. Nothing like what i asked for, how do you mess up a basic french. I questioned them after i realized my bf paid $55 for my nails and all of them stayed shut with confused looked on their faces. One rude lady responded with “you did french” well why didnt no one mention that in the beginning instead of telling me it was $45. The cost changed after my bf paid? Ridiculous, they also spoke in their language and laughed. Absolute trash of a place, 0/10 do not recommend.

Xandie Zarceno First time going here, will not come back. Asked for powder gel manicure but the lady just decided to do normal gel, when I specifically want powder gel. And she insisted to do normal gel. So customer doesnt have a say to what they want? I thought I was the customer. I should get what I want, I’m paying anyways. Never will come back. Lady insisted it’s the same when it clearly not. Normal get looks normal manicure just longer. Not even close to powder gel. I specifically wanted powder gel and I didn’t get it. I am beyond mad. When I’m trying to tell her I want gel she still continue doing what she want so I just decided to shut up and dreaded every single moment. Super sloppy work. I hateeee my nails!!!! Was supposedly have an appointment for eye lash extensions, immediately cancelled coz I’m too scared that they will just do whatever they want and won’t do what the customer want specifically. Beyond disappointed and mad. Pa should have read the reviews first before going here. Apparently they have bad work here. Looking at the other reviews.

Chen Ye I had an amazing experience at this nail and spa salon! The staff was incredibly professional and welcoming, making sure I was comfortable from start to finish. The ambiance was so relaxing, and the cleanliness was top-notch. My manicure and pedicure turned out perfect, with great attention to detail. The range of colors and services they offer is fantastic! I’ll definitely be returning for more pampering. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality service and a relaxing experience.

Johanna Casanova Although the woman were very respectful and nice I was not happy with my service. Don’t get your eyebrows done here they did a terrible job. My eye brows are very well arched and all it needed was a cleaning. I paid $10 when I could’ve paid $6 where I usually go. The woman didn’t understand English and she did one eyebrow way thicker than the other. Just horrible I am so upset that I have to stay like this until they grow in. I don’t understand how a business specializes in eyebrow and they did a terrible job. His is by far the worst eyebrow service ever and I was nice enough to leave a $10 tip. I should have stayed with my eyebrow tech that I been going to for the last 20 years but she was on vacation. I will never make that mistake again!

Modern Styles Closet This has to be one of the best nail experiences I’ve had in a long time. Been getting my nails done for 20 year. Clean, efficient, listen to what you want and reasonably priced. This will be my go to nail salon. Luna and the other lady did great!!!!

Jennifer R Thy are always pushing you to give more in tip. I thought tip was complimentary. I handed the lady $10 and she gave me a nasty face, she said that it wasn’t enough that you need to give 15%. On top of that their nail extensions quality is so bad. They end up chipping or falling off completely, I always need to come back in order for them to fix my nails.

JO COLE NO STAR. I was charged $100 for a spa pedicure and powder gel that was done very POORLY AND UGLY. The technician even had the nerve to ask for 15% tip when my nails dont even look the way theyre supposed to look. They look uneven (some fat looking and not shaped properly) and my cuticles werent even properly taken care of! And my pedicure was just horrible. The pics are proof enough. They tried to make me stay to fix it but I had been there for almost 2 hrs and I to go so I just wasted $100 for VERY BAD powder gel mani and what they called "spa pedicure". Will never come here again. Believe the ratings. 3 days later: See recent pics. The powder gel is already cracking and my pedicure color has already came off. I want my money back. This was a horrible experience.

Sandii The lady who waxed my upper lip burned me and ripped off the top layer of my skin. Never apologized & tried saying that my skin was like that when I walked in - which was clearly not the case & even if so, they have the right to use their professional judgment to refuse a service to a customer if they don’t meet the criteria. If she thought that I wasn’t the appropriate candidate she could have suggested a different method but instead followed through. Eventually gave me a refund but never apologized. She was also really aggressive when threading. Happened 8/20 around 5PM.

Brook-Lynn Reign ⭐ **1 Star Review** ⭐ I had a very disappointing experience at **Jade Nails & Spa**. The **pedicure stations were not clean**, and I noticed they **reuse the foot stones** on multiple clients, which is unsanitary. The nail polish bottles looked grimy, like they had been in a nail polish fight. The **bigger nail tech** who sits on the **left side** of the shop and the **older woman** in the middle (who handles money and does nails) were both **unfriendly and unprofessional**. The nail tech on the left was **rough with my hands**, aggressively pulling them back when I flinched as she buffed both my **nails and skin**. Even the **eyebrow waxing station was dirty**. I saw them **blow on the wax before and after applying it**, which is completely unhygienic. At that point, I had to **walk out**. I do **not recommend this salon** due to the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service.

Went here to do my nails, was waiting on Angela to do my nails while waiting someone came and started to dig my nails off with a metro card and ripping all my nails of that I took so long to grow and when I told her not to use the metro card to take the sns powder off she continued to do so and keep saying it’s not my nails ripping off and my nails were rip off completely she rip off 6 of my nails using the metro card. I got so pissed off and walk out and didn’t continue. Two or more of them want to work on ur nails and toes and when finished they all fight you for the same amount of tips 5 dollar each two different person on your toes u have to pay $5 each which is $10 in tips and 2 person on ur finger which is another $10 total $20 dollar for tips.. tips is base off if customer wants to give or not but here they all demand on you and does not return ur change they divide your change for their tips which is very nasty.. not every woman who walks into the salon is a working woman and can afford huge amount of tips to each person.. very disappointed and disgusting.. used to do my nails here 3 years ago for a entire year every three weeks and Angela used to do a great job and never asked for tip, I would give my tip to her once I paid but now she’s become hostile for money just like them all. My nails came up to 42 dollars and u paid 50 she takes her tips out of your change without your permission and gives you back wha she feels like which is very disrespectful to customer. They don’t even do the nails properly anymore

The Dreaded Dreamer **update 11/3/24 . I was happy the first time but the following 2 or 3 times is a no. I don’t really want to go back unless it’s to remove what was done today. They don’t listen and want to do what they want. I didn’t want gray nails with glitter or the dipping powder which breaks super easily… extremely disappointed with the service today. Spa pedicure is also a joke. Felt violated and spent more than usual to be only upset and unheard. Crazy. 7/2024- Very happy with my pedicure and tips. The technicians are very attentive & thorough. Great experience

Amelia PHW I was able to walk in on a Saturday morning around 10am. They actually open a little bit earlier than most of the nail salons around here. I got a gel dipping powder treatment with just a little tip added on my nail for some length. The nail technician was so gentle and she did not over file my cuticles Like so many others have done. The color was not what I chose but it worked out fine. The pedicurist was also really great and gentle and massaged my feet really well. She even clean my slippers while my feet are soaking! Such a sweet pea. My husband got a basic manicure and was very satisfied. The prices were fantastic and the service was so good!

Waters Lyrics I paid 100 dollars last week on a Wednesday, it’s now Tuesday and 3 nails are off. I can say my eye brows are nice but i will never do powder tips ever. I asked May for acrylic and they gave me powder, and i never do that. I am pissed on my vacation losing nails when i could have paid $40 for acrylic! No way i paid 100 for my nails to be missing today! I am livid and i will never go back!
