Robin Erickson Diane and her team have always been so caring and good to our pets. When our dog broke her leg , the Surgeon said she would never walk right again. Diane put her in a cast and for years after that Scooter not only walked but ran. She passed away but we will never forget the excellent care we received.

Spring Forestry Very happy with the care and love my cats have received at Schoharie Valley Veterinary Clinic. My cats are family and I wouldnt entrust them with just anyone. Its been difficult finding a vet in the area over the past few years after our previous vet closed, but were grateful to have found Dr. Denise and the wonderful vet techs and staff at Schoharie Valley. Everyone is highly professional and the facility is clean and well-run. They definitely treat my beloved kitties with love and excellent care and I know they are in good hands here. I recently had a kitten spayed there and i have to say it was the smoothest most trouble-free spaying experience Ive ever had! She seemed back to normal almost as soon as we got home! Worth the scenic drive from Greene County!

Cindy Great place to get dental work done. Dr. E got me in on short notice and was very pleasant. He set me up with x-rays, a consult and same day cleaning. Shannon cleaned my teeth and did a great job. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Thank you to everyone at Schoharie dental. I will be seeing you soon for the rest of my dental work.

Victoria Shave I was a little nervous to join this office after seeing the reviews, but was determined to get out of my previous dentist office. This office exceeded all of my expectations! First, it’s beautiful and busy. (Pro tip- there’s an additional parking lot across the street that I didn’t notice until my second visit.) I was able to get an appointment within 3 weeks of calling. First visit was a check up and X-rays. They scheduled me for a cleaning the following week and some fillings for 7 months out (I know I know). They told me not to worry, they had frequent cancellations and it was likely it would be much sooner. I received a text DAYS later asking if I wanted to take an opening for my fillings right after my cleaning appointment (same day!). My cleaning went amazing. I don’t know who did it but she literally did the best job and even removed a stain I didn’t know could be removed- because no past dental hygienist tried. If I knew her name I’d give her five stars too! After, I changed rooms and my fillings were done. It was pain free, professional and fast. Everyone working there that I’ve interacted with just seems to be enjoying their job and so great at what they do. I couldn’t recommend this office enough! I’m SO relieved that I gave this office a try. They’ll be my go to from here on out!

Madison Andrews We’ve been going to Schoharie Dental for a while now simply because it is a hassle to switch to a new dentist. About 6 months ago I went to the dentist for a filling and cleaning and we waited in the receptionists room for 3 hrs before being called in. At that point I had my cleaning and sat in the chair for an additional 40 minutes for the filling. More recently, I went for an emergency visit for increased sensitivity between the two teeth I got filled. I got in super quick, but waited in the dental chair for 55 minutes. When the dentist came over, he asked me the problem and I told him. He tried to floss between the teeth and I told him that was painful. He told me that I have an upcoming appointment soon and they will check on it then. This appointment was solely for that reason and I drove 50 minutes to come. Keep in mind that my next appointment is actually in June because that is the closest appointment they could make me. I wouldn’t recommend and honestly, we won’t be coming back. If I could give a 0/5 stars I would.

Brianna Ure Rose at the front desk is an absolutely amazing human, she’s friendly diligent attentive and want what is best for patients, always willing to work with my schedule always calls back for availability, I have been going to Schoharie dental for close to 5 years, i’ve been with them through multiple expansions and seen almost every dr and assistant, this is an amazing dental office for any of ur needs, every dr is fast, diligent and genuinely wants what is best for every person, they listen to every concern and meet you wherever you need!! Rich B All of the other reviews saying patients here are treated like numbers and not people are absolutely spot on! Front desk staff is pretty incompetent, unfriendly, and generally seem miserable to be there. Hygienist flew through my cleaning (less than ten minutes) and had the personality of a wooden door. My old dentist in Albany always had a small office feel, with friendly staff, and procedures that took longer due to the fact they actually cared about their patients. Only left them due to them not taking my insurance anymore. Wont be back to this office due to me (1) moving and (2) want an office where people arent treated like cattle. Dont let the nice office surroundings fool you, the staff here are all robots who dont care about patient interaction or overall care.

Serrina Alley Ive been going for years and after my old doctor retired Ive had multiple appointments set up with Dr.Dar their new physician and she keeps rescheduling "wont be in the office" I have yet to see her or have an actual appointment with her for more then a year. Its ridiculous, she doesnt care about her patients. They are just another paycheck to her. Stay way from using her for you own health find a better doctor who cares enough to see you.

Nia 8406 Never really have any issues with Bassett however today while on the phone the staff in the Schoharie office was extremely rude and complained about their workload as if they are the only person on the planet. They began to (for a lack of better words) chew me out as if I personally was the issue standing in their way. Customer service goes a long way. You get what give. I for one will go to and or deal with every Bassett facility except for the Schoharie location. That was no way to speak to ANYONE.

Justin Garo This place overdosed my 12 month old daughter with 2 doses of the mmr vaccine. If anything happens from it I will definitely look into legal action.

Timothy Gostling This facility has brought my family nothing but frustration. The Doctors and nurses who work here are great, but the billing and administrative staff are useless. Their billing cadence is months behind and frequently inaccurate, and I recently had an important appointment rescheduled for the 4th time. It has now been close to a year I have waited for a consult with a specialist. I have received great treatment at the hospitals in both Cobleskill and Cooperstown, no idea why the staff at the Health Center cant figure it out. They are truly a discredit to the Bassett name, as their dozen of 1 star review on her clearly show. Only giving a second start because of how much I like my physician and nurse here. They are both top notch, and I cant imagine how embarrassing it must be to graduate medical school and then be assigned to work for a facility this disorganized and unprofessional.

Darby Reed This is why insurance costs continue to rise! Forced to go to ER with a simple matter, because Dr (PA) is too lazy, or too incompetent to do her job, so staff tells me to go to ER! Seriously? Theyre NOT a family medical practice..Thats YOUR JOB...& Are you going to pay for the extra $$$ in copays for that visit too? If you dont know how to apply your education correctly to your job..LEAVE

Princess Đraven Ive been going there for so many years tried different drs and Im sorry but they are mostly pretty bad and dont care to even acknowledge you. I have terrible vertigo ( vestibular paroxysmia) I asked many times if there anything u can give me to help and they all told me to find a new hobby and I will never get better. turns out gabapentin does help with it NEVER ONCE they have recommended it when I have anxiety and nerve pain and guess what! ( it works lol ) imagine Ive always been in severe pain and switching to somewhere else helped so much. If you want to a good dr, I dont really recommend them unless you find someone new who is willing to help you but all the females are so nasty ( sorry but its so sad that you dont even care for your patient ) I have many other stories but this is the one that sticks out the most ( try cooperstown they are way nicer and willing to explain more to you than them! ) even will do testing and get the help u need!

Dallas Mesick This office has been an absolute nightmare to deal with in every regard. I was diagnosed with type I diabetes recently and getting any information out of anyone when it comes to help, treatment, dosing, specialists, appointments, resources, etc. has been nearly impossible. Half of the time, the reception staff act like its the patients fault that theyre working at a job that they clearly hate. I have found out (the hard way) that I am incredibly sensitive to the insulin I was prescribed and am hitting dangerous lows with my blood sugar. I have kept a comprehensive log that has shown how fast I am dropping after taking my prescribed dose of insulin. The result I got was to just continue to take the insulin as I have been (which could be fatal). I have requested assistance with patient advocacy to help me get to an endocrinologist, which I have been told multiple times is not an option. I am currently working with patient services to file a grievance about the laundry list of issues Ive had since my diagnosis. It also doesnt help that putting in messages to the Bassett app (which states that messages may take UP TO 48 hours to get a reply back) just dont get answered at all half the time. The advice I was given today by actual "medical staff" was to "use my judgement" for my own insulin doses because the prescribed amount is CLEARLY too high, but a provider was not available so just bring it up at my next appointment. To clarify that, after getting a diagnosis a month ago, the advice Im getting is literally to figure it out on my own, including my medication and dosage. After ten years of the abysmal medical care I got while I was in the military, I thought Id seen the worst there is to offer. Bassett Health Center has shown me that the pit only gets deeper. Even the Bassett Patient Service staff have been confused as to how the ball is getting so consistently dropped with this treatment. This office has an overwhelming amount of 1 star reviews for a good reason. A change in practice is realistically in my near future.
