Alyssa Rose First time trying this nail salon and it was a very positive experience! They were super friendly and accommodating. I had to leave in the middle of doing my nails for an emergency, I didn’t make it back until 45 mins before they closed and they stayed and late and finished them for me. They did such a beautiful job too. The shaping was perfect, the nails weren’t too thick, and the design was exactly what I wanted. And the prices were great! I will definitely be back!

Nadia Glenn John did an amazing job. I’ll go to him again. He took his time to replicate a Google picture, and it came out beautifully. He is one of the best nail techs in the city of Poughkeepsie!

Başak Maraba It was my first time trying 427 pk. I went there on Tuesday , walked in and didn’t wait even for a minute. Staff were so friendly! I tried 4-5 salons before and I can tell they did exactly what I want. I got spa pedicure for 45$, i have ingrown nails and he did a really good job with removing them. Also I got acrylic refill and nail design for 90$. I don’t know his name but he could be the owner’s son. He did an amazing job. I spent almost 2.30 hours. Worth every penny!!!

Madison Ryan Best experience I have ever had at a nail salon. They did a fantastic job and have great prices! I would recommend.

Marika Motley They sat me down for a full set with an unlicensed, 16 year old. She had a necklace that said “2008,” and when I asked her, she said that was the year she was born. YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 17 to apply for a license. I walked out before she finished applying the acrylic it was that bad.

B. Lewis I got my nails done here twice and both times I was overly satisfied! The nail polish is quality polish, service is quick but not rushed, the environment is clean and sanitary. The pedicures even for a basic is thorough. There’s so many gel colors to choose from as well. I love this place! Thank you for exceptional service!

Liv Good Lisa does a really really good job with shaping. I usually get my nails done really long and very pointy. I came in for a fill in for a set of acrylic nails that I had got done at another place. Lisa was able to fix my shape and correct the work from another salon. She was also very nice and very patient. I love her work I’m in the chair as we speak. Not done yet as far as color, but I’ll upload a pic of the shape work she did

Jennifer Riggins I started coming here after I was referred to this salon, first time there, she did exactly what I wanted , 2nd time, same thing and the 3rd time was great! I love finding salons that will do exactly what you need without a problem. They are so accommodating with offering you water. Music playing in the backdrop. It was refreshing. I have recommended this salon to a few of my girlfriends! I always get compliments on my nails! Definitely my new go to place!!

Fh Fh I refrained from leaving a negative review because I was hoping Irina would do the right thing and she never did. It has been 2 months and the situation does not sit well with me which is the reason for my review. Irina was on time and I have nothing negative to say regarding her punctuality. Everything else was awful. No masks were worn during the service and while I believe they were not mandated at the time of the service (2 months ago) considering how close you are to the client it would be ideal considering there is no barrier between the client and worker like most salons have done. My finger was cut and I had a scar for weeks after the appointment. When I showed my family my nails they thought I had painted them myself with an at home kit. I ended up going to another nail salon the day after and getting them redone. Irina used inappropriate language as well. I was more concerned with her feelings than my own because I did not want to hurt her feelings at the time of the appointment so I was polite and left. I later brought the awful language to her attention and she offered me a free service. I advised I did not want a free service given I do not feel comfortable there. No refund was ever offered which I feel is extremely unprofessional given the circumstances. The right thing was not done and I do not want others to go here and experience the same thing it is unfair to future visitors. Edit to respond to the response I received: First, I was encouraged to take off my mask as soon as I walked in so the fact that I had it on was not respected. Second, I did reach out the next day and advised I felt uncomfortable with the language used to refer to me. (Racial comment/joke) I was offered a free service which I turned down because I had already stated I did not feel comfortable there and would not be returning. A REFUND was never offered to me which is what I believe is unprofessional & when I mentioned this incident to my family they were shocked that I was not offered a refund given the cut on my finger, the fact that I had to get my nails redone the next day because they looked like I had painted them myself at home and the insensitive language. I waited to leave a review because I was hoping you would reach back out and do the right thing and you never did. The money was more important to you than making it right and other people should be aware.

Ilene Goldman Irina, the owner, is very professional and respectful of everyone that comes in for her services. She is very accommodating, and her mani/pedis and waxing services are the best around. I would not go anywhere else for these services. The shop is very clean and adheres to state guidelines for the Corona virus. What more can I say? Give her shop a try and find out for yourself.

Simone Wint Rose always does an amazing job whenever I go in to get my nails done. She also does a great job of offering suggestions for a color or design that might look better on you than what you originally had in mind. Im never disappointed after shes done with my nails.

Melli Ace I have been coming here for about a year for gel pedicures. They always do a great job. Recently I have started doing my full set there. Kevin is the best!He does a great job with my nails and always gives me a better design than I come in wanting. My polish lasts until I need a fill in and my nails don’t ever break. 10/10 and the prices are very good.

Dana Palermo If I could give 0 stars I would. This nail salon is overpriced and they can’t do a basic manicure. I was upstate visiting my sister and we stayed in Poughkeepsie for one night. I thought it would be a fun and relaxing activity to do together. We walked by this salon and saw a decent amount of customers inside, so we figured to give it a try. The reviews online were average and we were getting a regular manicure so I thought we would have been fine. The lady that took me kept trying to get me to pay for additional services - she asked me twice if I wanted a gel manicure and if I wanted a pedicure. It’s a turn off to be pestered about additional services when I made it clear we were just getting a regular manicure. They have us sit down right away and my lady put my fingers to soak in water and then had to tend to the front desk for a bit. I’ve never been at a nail salon that doesn’t have you pick the color first before sitting down but I went with the flow. She comes back and doesn’t do a thorough job cleaning up my nails and filing. She was rough when filing my nails and my cuticles were not cleaned up nicely. She tells me to look at the wall of polishes behind her and let her know the number I want. There were a ton of polishes and I can’t get a good look from my seat. I asked her a question about it and she made a nasty face and said irritably, “you tell me the number and I’ll get it for you.” She rushed through the clean up of my nails and then told me to go find a color. Another staff member told me that I could look at all the walls, not just the one near where I was seated. After less than a minute of looking my lady came behind me and said “are you done.” I told her I’m still looking and she proceeded to wait and hover behind me….talk about feeling rushed. I took my time anyways and picked a color while she stood right behind me. She does a quick paint and has me move to the dryer. The paint didn’t go all the way to the end of my nail and I had nail dust still under my nails. This is the first time I’ve never tipped before in my life. I normally give a tip even if the service isn’t perfect, because I usually feel comfortable to approach the person to ask them to fix it before I leave. This lady made herself very unapproachable. Being abrasive and having poor technique will not earn a customer’s trust or a generous tip. My nails started cracking and chipping that night and in the picture you can see how they looked less than 24 hours later…all I did was go out to dinner and drive. There’s no reason why a manicure should look like that hours after. A manicure shouldn’t look like that two days later. I’m finishing drying and I wonder how my sisters appointment is going. Something is fundamentally wrong when two people start at the same time for the same service and one ends up finishing 25 minutes earlier. Her lady was taking more time with her manicure and had my sister look at swatches to pick out colors. My person was just extremely impatient for whatever reason. Although my sisters lady was kinder and didn’t rush, she did make my sister bleed on two fingers. I’ve never been to a nail salon thats messed up to the point of making someone bleed not on only one finger, but two. The picture with the red nails are the two nails that were bleeding. $22 for a regular manicure is a joke. It’s cheaper to get that service done in New York City. But to charge $22 and to 1) not execute it well and 2) have horrendous customer service, you don’t deserve to be in business. If you’re visiting the area looking for a nail service, steer clear of this place. The convenience of the location is not worth taking the chance of getting assigned a staff member like I was. I am certain you can find somewhere a short drive away, or just elsewhere on Main Street, that does the bare minimum (and can do it well).

Alyssa Martin Went new years day and the owner is an absolute sweetheart, answered all my questions thoroughly and checked on me throughout my appointment. The nail tech that did my nails, Irene, did a fabulous job. She really knows what she’s doing and she does her job amazingly. They offer a lot and have reasonable prices. Thank you for the new years day accommodations I love my nails and cant wait to show them off during my vacation !!!!

Kristen Johnson I went to this nail salon a couple days after they opened and it was a wonderful experience. They were so welcoming and kind and helped with decision making. I got gel and was deciding between two colors and they let me try them both. They were reasonably priced and I will definitely be going back!

Terri Werlau Went to First Lady for the first time and cannot wait to go back! Maggie did my pedicure and it was fantastic. I was having a not great experience with my nails - hard gel extensions. The owner (name??) came over and swooped me into her chair and meticulously fixed every nail to make them absolutely perfect!! I cannot wait to go back!

Sara Kowalski This nail salon exceeded my expectations. The salon is immaculate and decorated beautifully. The owner greeted me warmly and was so helpful and patient with me. She explained what would be best even when I struggled to articulate my wants. Maggie made my nails beautiful. I had a pedicure and a full set with dip powder and a special gel polish which made my nails look like glass. Pre booked my next appointment with her before I left. Looking forward to my next visit.

Tay Sen First time here and will never be coming back. My friend and I made a last minute appointment, and were able to get in, which was nice. However, the service was horrible. My friend got her nails done and everyone who was working was rotating to do her nails because they were having difficulty. When my friend said she did not like the design, one of the male staff members walked away yelling and another woman had to take over. Our appointment was at 12:30 and she was scheduled for a fill, and it took 2 hours. One of the other staff members also tried popping her wart on her finger after she expressed that it hurt and she did not want them doing so. For me, I had a similar issue, just not a complete staff rotation. I was getting nails for my friends funeral, and wanted a tiny heart. She was struggling to do the heart and I started feeling bad for being picky, so I settled for a heart on each pinky, which were different sizes, not centered on my nail, one is at the top of my nail, and the other is in the middle. I also found it disgusting that there is a fly trap inside of the place that looks like it hasn’t been replaced in months. Both me and my friends nails together were over $100, and completely sloppy. I would not recommend this place as it is a waste of money, and the staff is extremely disrespectful.

Maria I I have gone to multiple places here in Poughkeepsie. I thought this place was so good but actually turns out. I just developed a fungus under all of the acrylic that they put on me. I will never go there again and some photos to show you. You can clearly see that I just pulled all the acrylic off my nails… I cannot believe the way my thumb looks right now….How embarrassing to go to work and you’re nail looks like that…. Very disgusted… I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years. I have not once had my now look like that. It’s absolutely disgusting. Feeling to have my finger look like that and I have to go to work and it still look like that disgusting.

Lee Li I always get my nails done here, and the service is absolutely exquisite! I love the clean environment, and the lady who did my nails was extremely precise down to every detail. She was gentle with my sensitive nails. The gel nails have never chipped off before. I cannot recommend this place enough to everyone.

Penghui SUN Went here for first time yesterday and it was wonderful. Very clean. Lovely staff. Angela did my nails and they came out beautifully. Will definitely return and highly recommend
