Richard Langendoerfer Wow! Dr Schamel is the best. I had to move and came to Watkins Glen. I am very lucky to have found her. Her staff is great also. This doctor is great.

Tammy Clarkson Ive had two recent appointments with Dr. Schamel and have had exceptional service and response to my needs. She took as much time as needed to ensure all my questions and concerns were addressed. No wait time and easy access to my test results and ongoing communication. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Laurie Young I like Dr. Schammel she listens to her patients and is attentive to their needs. Her staff is friendly and professional.

Michael Steffens Dr. Schamel takes whatever time is necessary to determine a couse of action, whether lab work, a referral, a prescription, etc. I rarely wait more than 5-10 minutes. Dr. Schamel and her nurse, Amanda, are both kind and personable - not to mention knowledgable.

B Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Im disabled and the dr. Helped me with a few problems I was having and did it quickly.

Aimee Dars Ellis I was seven minutes late to my appointment with Dr. Yee because the road from my house was down to one lane for tree-trimming and I was unaware of that. I called from the road and the receptionist said to come to the clinic and they would get me checked in. When I arrived, the front desk said I was late and they would have to reschedule me. I had made the appointment a month ago and they would not make any concession or be at all understanding of my situation. This was a first-time patient appointment so I opted to not reschedule and will be going to a different clinic. While I understand that it’s important to be on time due to the cascading impact of late patients, I believe that not allowing any leeway is unnecessarily strict, and they did not at all care that they lost a patient.

John Hayes Doctor Saks takes great care of me. Know and been cared for by others there to my complete satisfaction. Beautiful new offices, too, with great views.

Luke Daniel Jenna Wilkens PA is fantastic, as is Dr. Saxe. The team there are indispensibly helpful. Great at maintaining appointments, follow ups and support in all regards.

Rosanna Davis There is always at least a half hour wait to get to your appointment.

Nicole Teeter No actual Drs on staff. Only nurse practitioners. Many of the staff are rude. Many of them don’t actually care about you as a patient. Just had the worst experience there. Will never go to this ER again. I will drive the 45 minutes to Corning Guthrie where they give you the care you need. Absolutely horrible the way you’re treated by some of the nurses here. Can’t believe it. Also, won’t give you their names when asked, apparently they “don’t give out names here” asked for their names so I could put in a complaint but was refused. Wouldn’t even let me speak to the girl at check in to find out the number to call.

Heavyn Sellers The ER itself was great, they got us into a room immediately and thoroughly checked on our situation. We were informed my s/o was to be placed under 24 hour observation (as he damn well should with a seizure from a concussion), however, once we were transfered to the hospital itself the doctor was very nonchalant, and didnt seem at all concerned about my s/os health. He canceled the observation and sent him home a few hours later without even medication. Im livid. Ita pure ignorance and beyond not okay to simply send a young patient home in a situation like that. I reccomend avoiding being placed in the hospital, almost none of the staff seemed to care at all about the patients.

Amanda Gunning We are so thankful for the quickness and amazing staff that helped my son Wednesday night. We were in and out and felt like he mattered. 10 outta 10.

Paula Blodgett I struggled all my life with demons until I started going to AA meetings and going to therapy here.q my therapist is no longer there. but she was amazing I cant remember her name but I remember her face she was so kind and understanding never tried to shove meds down my throat.and very kind and thoughtful. I didnt realize how much baggage I was carrying until I started recovery this place had a hand in me being sober and I will have 12 years in December I also have overcame a lot that I never thought I could in my life thank you so much my dearest counselor she was amazing. This place has made me realize that I deserve better and I am good enough to have it.

jjwright22 I went here for several years and enjoyed it all! Until the ins cos started dictating how many times we could go and they had to cancel support groups. I had liz for years and she was a huge help to me! So was mark and a few others! Liz taught support groups and was amazing! She was honest and I dont think everyone appreciated that. Cant be coddled and she was truthful and had rules. The people also want to have to be helped also and out in the work too. Ive always been listened to there. Just wish they would let me go back their but finances made me had to leave the county and they wouldnt agree to a waiver. So that was annoying.

Emma Rosa Liz is by far the worst social worker in this building. She has zero understanding of children and their mindset. She ignores parental concerns and passes off her incompetence onto her bosses. She makes up things to write in her notes to cover up her ignorance. She doesn’t care about the well-being of patients and makes that very obvious. I think she’s only there for a paycheck, because she can’t help anyone- she only makes kids feel bad about themselves. Schuyler County should fire her for her inability to perform the duties required of her job. Last I knew, social workers had an oath to uphold- she clearly forgot about that, or just doesn’t care.

Spencer Chilson This lady is psychotic and loves to jump to the worse and laziest scenarios she told my sister that night sweats is a sign of cancer. Im sorry but if you are a therapist with your patient that you know is in a touchy spot with a symptom that could be caused by so many other things jumps to cancer and then makes them freak out more. Im sorry but swnd you family here if you want to see them struggle more.

Deborah Campbell I highly recommend this team of Dr. Nurses Therapists and the like. Even the gals in the window go above and beyond for everyone. This place has saved me more than once. Ive been a patient since 1994 If you need help this is who to call they really do care.

Olivia Hurley Nice staff but takes forever to call you about IMPORTANT results

nicholas longoni I moved from another state and I was getting pain management services. I had previous pain management doctors and my neuro send sufficient records to show i needed services and they denied me. First off they never call you back. Second, the woman who answers the phone is very rude and treated me like I was doing something wrong when all I wanted was an explanation and to see if I could send in more records and she wouldn’t even listen to me. I’m on ssdi, I have not been able to work in almost 3 years. I’ve tried every other option and failed so I’m on opioid therapy that has made a significant difference in my life, yet somehow I was not worthy of this place nor was I worthy of a call back, an explanation or to be treated with any kind of decency. Doctors are supposed to help people and people should be treated with respect but this place didn’t get the memo. Please do not give this place your business. Go find people with compassion because if they let that woman who answers the phone work there and she treated me like garbage and she didn’t ever bother to call me back, just think what the doctor would be like.
