Samantha McCloud Came here for an acrylic fill they were really nice. The woman who did my nails was really fast and efficient I showed her what I wanted and she did it exactly.

Camille Cox I have been going to Z&Y for a while, and I never had a problem until recently when I went in to get a manicure, the owner was rushing me to sit with someone that I don’t usually get my nails done with. I told here I was waiting on someone else. She then said “you have to soak off the gel.” This I know, but she then goes to say, “what’s wrong with you?”, in a rude tone. I asked her if she is talking to me she said “you can leave now, leave now,” fanning me off. I was attempting to talk to her saying “you should not talk to your customers like that and that I have been coming here for a while” but she dismissed me by walking away. Never again, will they receive my money.

annie thermidor I was weary of going here due to the poor reviews but this place answered the call when I needed my nails done last minute. I walked in during the late afternoon and was instantly seated in a chair. The place was spacious and clean. The technician I had, Suki, was very efficient and precise. She did my gel manicure in under 10mn. They had a good choice of colors. The pedicure was well executed but they were not aggressive with the calluses unless you were willing to pay more. Overall, I was very pleased with my session and would return.

Nayiba Vlogz Rush and do what they wanna do as far as making you feel like what you wanted they dont care to make the effort to create your vision. They Use regular soup to scrub and I would love if I brought my own stone scrub for my feet cause these Locals feet have all kinds of things and get the same stone used on there food God knows how they clean it to reuse.

Clara Lopez On Saturday January 14 I stopped by bc I just needed a simple mani/pedi. My pedicure was great but my dip powder manicure was horrible. I just wanted them to be filed a bit in a squared style but that did not happen. On top of that the following day the top coat started Peeling.. I honestly cant live with my nails like this..

Lauren Rich Don’t come here! Door doesn’t work so it was freezing (beyond cold) inside, but worst of all she butchered my toes. If you are a nail professional how do you not know how to cut nails? She even said “too short”, like thank you, you can see my skin and the cut is all angled. Truly terrible, would NOT come back

Tam B They saved my week. I went and got a mani at my usual place and was unhappy with the color. On my way home from a fresh mani I stopped off at Refresh Nail N Spa and explained I hate my nail color if they can do something for me. Lisa was my manicurist and she hooked me up with a color I love ❤️. The staff is very sweet and pleasent and the place os very clean. I booked my next appointment with them. The place is convenient right here in Downtown Brooklyn. Why not do you shopping and get your mani and pedi?

Sandy Luisa’s attention to detail is unmatched, she did an amazing job. My first time here will definitely be back. Have also done my eyebrows twice here, also very good! Again, LOVE Luisa’s work. Got dip this time and she did an AMAZING job so they look super natural. Can’t recommend enough

I definitely recommend this nail salon which also offers many other services. I usually come for my eyebrows, but I decided to try the nail services and I will be back!

Wioletta Wojciechowska Red nails is the design I asked for Blue nails is what I got… The design is nothing like the picture. This is not ok… no artistic skill at all. Very disappointed in design and the pedicure is not done well either, I have left over polish on my toes and cut unevenly. Low effort overall. The salon is nice but the pictures speak for themselves. Would not recommend if you’re looking for anything with designs

Cindy is great at designs and making your nails look absolutely beautiful! I am so happy with my current nails that were done today just in time for the holidays and graduation! :) Highly recommend that everyone comes and gives it a try!! :)

Mish M Nail polish never dried fully, even after sitting under the dryer for 40+ minutes. Not even a couple hours later the polish started chipping and peeling.

Annie Corenthal This is my favorite nail salon in the neighborhood. They are always so friendly and accommodating. They have a great selection of colors (in regular polish, gel, and sns) and do tips and powders perfectly. Here are my ghost nails for Halloween, an excellent reproduction from a photo I showed them. Also here are my funky chrome nails, my happy nails, and my flower power nails. Their sns always lasts for weeks without chips or separating.

Brenda Prieto Tiffany is wonderful but the lady that sits on the second booth charged me fir nail polish and my nail polish came off inside the location I wasnt refunded. I left with no polish on my nails and I paid.

alexandra jemide Got acrylics with pink French tips, had to go back a few hours after because i noticed some of the nails were different regarding the shape and the thickness of the paint. The lady argued a little but overall the nails just didn’t look good, very poorly shaped She didn’t cut my Cuticles either before starting, Please see a photo a week after. One nail has already come off.

donna cyrus Ive been going there for 8 years. Always comfortable and professional. I get a spa pedicure then a 20 minute chair massage while my toes dry. They are very accommodating and I appreciate their availability and consistency.

Jamie Byrne I’ve been here three times and have been pleased every time with my mani pedi. The women are great and put care into your nails. They also give you a back rub while your nails are drying which is great. Today I got a manicure and a 10 minute chair massage for under $20 and they did a great job. I will definitely keep coming!

Vale Amazing services. Truly caring and very sweet ladies. Their included brief massages are so thoughtful and enjoyable !! i always end up asking for extra time. it’s worth it ! I’m moving out of the neighborhood and i know i will totally feel like commuting only to get my nails done at this very special salon.

C. Ross This is my favorite nail salon in Bushwick for several reasons. This location was previously run by a Korean family, the current owners took over in about 2014 and implemented immediate changes which dramatically improved service. If Im honest, they could stand to do a little work on the interior of the place. The paint is old and the massage chairs are run down and barely functional but what keeps me coming back is the service. Im a simple girl so I usually get a regular manicure and pedicure-no gel, stiletto or coffin shaped acrylic sets,etc. I appreciate that they look you in the eye and greet you with a smile. All of the technicians that Ive had pay exceptional attention to detail when cleaning the nail and caring for the skin. They also offer really awesome service massages at the end of your treatment for free. They are AMAZING masseuses! I recommend this place for a local no frills experience.

Heresia Hayes This establishment is beautiful and very clean. The nail technicians are kind. However, they are not excellent at their job and are very expensive in my opinion. I got my nails done, a regular mani-pedi, nothing fancy at all. It cost me $37 and that’s with the 20% off. My paint started chipping a few hours later. I came back the next day and the lady was very upset and insinuated that I did not let my nails dry long enough. The lady actually checked my nails before I left. She rubbed my nails and no paint came off. I also sat and dried my nails for 15 mins. Here I am again and she did my nails over again. I sat and dried my nails for 30 mins. I also believe they over charged me because the other women were only charged $32. I definitely want to file a complaint about this business. I am not happy and I also think I was cheated out of my money. I am really trying to find a great nail salon in Brooklyn. But so far I have been very disappointed. Pictures are of my nails from a few hours later and also of my nails the second time around. Paint still chipping away. Update: June 11, 2019 more paint is chipping away.

H. Kaity (MissKaity) Very nice place. Looks like it is under new management compared to when i read the old reviews on Yelp and Google. Everyone was very solicitous and courteous. I had a Groupon deal and didnt get treated differently like what other reviews stated.

Anthony Parris The place looks very nice. Everything looks very clean. I had a really good tech who took her time and gave me great service. My partner is tech watch the experience and ask for money while he was still in the chair after his pedicure. She didnt even let him dry his nails under the dryer before asking for payment. I thought that was pretty rude and I feel like a two-star rating is just because of her. I wont be returning.

Aleah N. Ranjitsingh Went in today for a regular mani/pedi. Called this morning and made an appointment for 12. Great customer service from the moment I walked in. The woman who did my pedicure and manicure was great. She helped me choose a nail polish color. There isnt a great variety but even with that, I had a hard time choosing. The predicure was well done and j enjoyed the foot massage and leg massage. She also did a great job on my manicure. I enjoyed the massage. I will go back again!

jennifer uva Surprised by all the bad yell reviews and feel the Google reviews are more on track. Went here in memorial day and the place was empty. Was quickly seated and handed a cup of green tea. Service was friendly and quality was good. Had a decent selection of colors for regular and gel polish. Would go back again.

Tina Khuro I’ve been coming here for a few months without any issues, but after seeing how customers are treated when the staff does a poor job, I feel compelled to share my experience. This business doesn’t respect its customers’ time—nail techs leave without informing clients who are already seated and waiting. Just last week, I had my nails done poorly, and they broke in less than a week. When I returned for a refund or a full new set, they refused. On top of that, they even took an extra $5 from my tip without my consent, splitting it between the two people who did my pedicure and manicure. This kind of behavior is both unprofessional and unethical. I’d rather pay a little more elsewhere for better service.

Arlie Globio I’ve been to other nail salons and finally found my favorite spot. Judy is the real treasure in the nail salon. She puts her heart into her work and really takes good care of your nails. Prices are really affordable it didnt even cost me over a hundred for a full set acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. Will always come back here

Frances Mamiye First time there for a manicure and the nail technician did a number on my finger. She was pulling harshly on cuticles and caused it to bleed and burn.

Polina Kitasova longer for them to finish. Powder gel should not take longer than 2 hours and I was there for 2 and a half. Second time I went, I had to wait a while, again. I finally get seated, I tell the woman I want powder gel, and I told her twice, and she ended doing a completely other thing. She kept cutting the nail after I showed her my preferred length, making them shorter than I wanted. The nails ended up looking terrible, the shaping was extremely crooked, the nails were going outwards, theres a literal dent in the nails, they were all uneven, and the worst part, they are fragile. After barely 3 days of having them on, one of the nails started to chip and then it broke and fell off. I call them asking to get it fixed, and she told me to come in 15 minutes. I came in 10, and was waiting for an hour to get one nail fixed. I sit down, she gives me powder gel as I requested, finally, and it ended up looking completely different than all my other ones. This nail salon does not care how your nails end up looking. They try fitting in as much people as they can just to make money because thats all they seem to care about. Do not go here unless you want to be stressed out while having atrocious nails.

P Lue Decent place to get a manicure and pedicure for an adorable price. I wish they would get liners for their pedicure stations to make it a little more sanitary. They have acrylic dividers at each station. Masks are mandatory. I would try to go at a less crowded time next time since it is a small place so having more than 6 people in there can seem a little crowded. My nail tech was nice and did a nice job on my hands and feet.

Ariana Laila Been here a couple of times and today was my last. I made an appointment for 3pm under the agreement of one person doing my mani and pedi only to get there and find out she will no longer be doing my pedicure and passed me off to someone else I had no prior experience with. She didn’t finish the other persons nails until after 4pm then she spent another almost hour and a half for a basic fill and one color polish. I showed her a picture multiple times only for her to still ask if I wanted something completely opposite. Very disappointed in the shape of my nails it was nothing of what I asked for. Very disorganized, too slow and doesn’t meet the clients expectations. Waste of half my day

They would ask me if it hurts when waxing and if I wanted to change the nail color. The environment is very comfortable and overall a nice place to get your nails done on a Sunday morning.

Steffryz I came here for tips. At first, they came out perfectly. Then she went in with the machine and filed the nail so much between the nail and cuticle that it no longer connected. Just a gap and im sure they do this to get you to come in the following week for a filling. By the time she painted them, it was horrendous! The nails were lumpy, uneven and with a gap. Dont bother with this place. They charged me 36 for nails that didnt even last a week.
