Isabela Cooper I can’t even begin to explain how poorly the front desk ladies treated my mother. They were so unbelievably rude and nasty to her all because she asked how much time til the doctor finally called her SINCE SHE WAS ALREADY WAITING 30 MINUTES. The doctor is great but wow the front desk service really absolutely ruins this place. I can’t believe she was treated the way she was, it’s absolutely unacceptable and no one should have to deal with people like that.

Miss C Dr. Syed is great doctor, however in terms of his practice the administrative are unprofessional. The doctor requested testing to be done and its been two month with no follow up or result. When I do finally get in touch with someone over the phone, I only get that he is very busy as he only seeing patients on a certain day, hey! let give you guys an idea, why dont you delegate a NP or someone that is capable to giving patient a response. As soon I get someone on the phone I will taking my business elsewhere.

Ilia Rivera I have been to this location a couple of times, unfortunately they are completely unorganized. I showed up 10 minutes early for a 1pm appointment and was called in at 1:50, taken into a room to have my vitals done where the medical assistant did not have anything she needed accessible in order to do her job, she went out for a pressure machine, came back in and then went out for a thermometer only to come back, take my weight and again go out for a thermometer... this process took all of 15 minutes when had she been prepared could have taken 5. The doctor came in at 2pm to see me he was great, informative and communicated as one would expect.After he left I was to see the nurse for blood work and stood waiting yet again, then when I opened the door the nurse asked me if I had already seen the doctor that she did not know.. I was annoyed. She took my blood and sent me on my way to see yet another nurse who then tells me they didnt have my urine and I responded thats because I was never asked for it. At this point I was starving and moody and so over it, so I left. I hope that this review helps them understand what needs to be done to improve patient care. Its a turn off to see a medical office so disorganized.

S S I suffered a pinched nerve and was referred here for PT. Scheduling was very inflexible, could not get an initial evaluation until 6 weeks later. I was in intense pain the full 6 weeks, and additionally had to reschedule once due to work conflict. rescheduled for week 7, I had called knowing I would be late and asked the front desk if Dr. Daniel Ciborowski would still see me if I arrived in the next 20 minutes. Spent $20 on cab fare, arrived in 20 minutes, waited ten minutes and then was told Dr. Ciborowski would not see me. He would not even come out of the office to meet with me or give me the time of day. I was told the next available appointment would be another week (8 weeks now) and again inflexible scheduling. Horrible service, do not send your loved ones here.

Joan Beaty Very hard to reach their office by phone. When it rings, it hangs up automatically. I am trying to reschedule my appointment and may have to just go in person to reschedule my appointment. Unbelievable!

Anthony Doctor Michael is great but his front desk told me I needed to pay a $60 copay in cash when later my insurance billed me and said I only needed to have paid $20. This is pretty much theft on their end. Not only of my money but of my time as I had to wait 3 hours just to see the doctor.

Gertie Auguste Dr. Gabriela is an excellent doctor. Shes very knowledgeable and patient. She takes time to explain tests results into details and answer all your questions. The staff members are Shawny, Usura and Nicole. They are very professional and helpful. Shawny has been working there for a long time. Shawny is always friendly and pleasant with a smile on her face. She shows care and concern for the patients just like Dr. Gabriela Rohr. They cover mostly all insurance and no appointment is necessary. I will recommend friends and family members to go there.

Juliet Bachu Doctors is amazing but the receptionist with red hair has a nasty attitude she’s mean and unprofessional she treats patients like dogs as soon as you walk in she doesn’t greet you and makes you think your stupid the doctors office would definitely have a lot good reviews and stars if she was fired.

Betz Bino I love these doctors. I have been taking my kids to them and myself since they were babies, and they are now all in college… The doctors have always been very good, and have always been there for us… the nurses are very kind and the head nurse that runs the office, Doyna (not sure how to spell her name) … does a great job! No complaints.

Jeannine Martine Staff was polite and nice to me. It was my first time there. They directed me to the dentist upstairs. Everyone was polite and nice up there as well. No problems for me. I wished they would do the root canal that they said that I needed. I still cant find a dentist that takes my insurance. Its frustrating. Wish someone would help me. Im in terrible pain everyday and Im tired of it.

Ali I have been visiting this medical center for dental work since I was a child. The. reception was much better with the woman who use to work there years ago. I called today at 5:31 and a woman answers the phone, as soon as I began to talk she put me on hold. I called back several times and the phone rang out and cut off. The office hours says they close at 6:30. I now have to travel from Manhattan all the way to Queens just to have a conversation, to see if they still take my coverage, Do better and be more professional! If I could leave a zero rating I would, terribly disappointed!!!!!

Toni-Ann Spence Service was horrible I arrive at 5:30 because the online time showed that they were closed at 6:30. One of the employees stated that they closed at 5:37 keep in mind today is not a holiday and I also called before going and they said they were open. Worrrrrrssssssttttttt experience ever. Don’t recommend this location or this company!!!!!

Ibrahim Bhuiyan Doctors and staff are very nice but wait time is very very long my appointment is at 9:45am they didn’t even call and it was already 12pm I don’t understand it’s by a appointment so should it take so long they should manage the time better

Lulu T Nurse Maximera had such amazing bedside manner as well as professionalism. Ive been to a lot of hospitals due to my back and asthma and he was very kind and helpful. I wish I knew the doctors name but I forgot to ask before I left, but he was a lovely gentleman who I felt everything was explained and done to help better my care. We need more doctors and nurses like that in the medical field. Some more faith I felt today for humanity.

Giselle rodriguez This place is rude. The nurses talk bad about you right Infront of you saying you don’t know how to read for not putting on a mask. Mind you when you’re in vital pain that’s the last thing on your mind. They treat you like nothing and as if you’re stupid if they assume you don’t speak English until you saying something back.

Nikki Don’t ever come here ever. Took two hours just to get my vitals taken. Been here for 7 hours for them to only do blood work and chalk up my pain to a previous condition when I’ve never experienced this, meanwhile I was referred here by urgent care. Don’t waist your time coming here.

Ally Chung I went to this ER while I was visiting New York and dislocated my elbow as I was running to the bathroom. Being a non-US citizen, I was terrified of navigating a healthcare system that was not my own, especially with everything that Ive heard about American medical care, but I knew immediately that I needed to be looked at by professionals after I fell. TLDR: I couldnt have wished for a better team to entrust with what was probably one of the top 5 scariest moments of my life. I arrived at the ER around 1-2am, and I was taken to get my elbow x-rayed. After getting confirmation that my elbow was indeed dislocated, I was sedated, and they performed a reduction on my arm. I then had another x-ray taken and after the reduction was confirmed to be successful, I was discharged. In total, I was in the ER for about 8-9 hours. Yes, this is a long time, turns out there arent a ton of radiologists in the dead of night. I could tell that the staff wanted to be thorough and get everything confirmed before executing any procedure, and I greatly appreciated that as I would rather wait and get verification than cut corners/have uncertainty and have something go wrong down the line, especially as the injury was on my dominant arm. The ER at this time was still quite busy, with patients that were definitely suffering from more serious issues than mine. Still, the staff treated me with the utmost respect and highest level of care. I cannot thank them enough for taking the time to explain very carefully what was progress was, what we were waiting on, what the procedure was going to entail, even down to what tubes were being attached to me. It helped me remain reasonably calm in a chaotic situation. Some moments I remember distinctly were how everyone working on my reduction introduced themselves to me before I was sedated, how Nurse Jessica delicately put on my socks for me even when I had my partner with me and I had one working arm and could have done it ourselves, how the x-ray technician got me water and sat with me when I started to feel nauseous and light-headed in the middle of imaging. I know that there were many more moments like these, but I was sedated and had lost a lot of sleep at this point. Lastly, I would like to thank Tenzing Sherpa, PA and Dr. Sarah Spiegel for doing such a good job on my procedure. I was able to get a second (& third) opinion from orthopedists in my home country immediately after my reduction, and they confirmed my thoughts that procedure had been executed well. I am a couple weeks out from my procedure, and my orthopedist tells me that my elbows range of motion is impressive, and recovery is going great. I would also like to thank the other medical staff in acute care and radiology at this hospital on this night: Jessica, Jerry, Pricilla, Neville, and so many others whose names I didnt catch because it takes the a village to provide high-quality care. I was very touched by all the small things they did to make my stay more comfortable. I also want to take a moment to thank Dileep from the Finance Department for helping me navigate the complicated process of healthcare bills. He came to me while I was in the ER to explain what resources were available to me and has been very responsive to my calls and e-mails. This was one of the parts that I was dreading most, and he has made it very manageable and seamless. When I recounted this story to my friends, they were very surprised at how positive my experience at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens was. I can say that the level of attention I was given is unmatched to the ERs I have visited previously. I was very impressed by how kind and compassionate everyone was in a stress-inducing work environment. There are so many criticisms about the American healthcare system, and while valid, they should not be directed at medical professionals and hospital staff that are trying their best to provide healthcare to a diverse population. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I am literally tearing up as I write this because I am so grateful.

TIAMANI FERRON Very slowww too many staff walking around taking “breaks”when patients are suffering. The emergency room is literally a patient storage everyone looking at each other. Nothing is treated as an emergency here and this is very displeasing. No wonder they are the lowest ranking hospital smh

kai lin Its terrible that a patient in pain has to wait for more than 7 hours. Unless the pain is so severe that he goes into shock or collapses, the medical staff will push him in. It hurts so much that Ive been waiting for 5 hours and I really want to give up, but it really hurts, what should I do? I hope the relevant departments will pay attention to this matter!

Nicholaos Sirris Note: To the recent college grad that is replying to these reviews, dont waste your time copy pasting the same response that youve left everyone. You look ridiculous and youre making the rest of the hospital look even worse. Checked in at 1 pm. Its now 6 pm and we are leaving without being seen. This place is a clown show. I would be genuinely embarrassed to work here. Same story as everyone else. How good is a hospital with a bad triage system? Took one hour just to be seen by triage and weve been here 4 hours total and he still havent seen my mom (who has been at a 7-8 pain level since she arrived). Where is a nurse? Everyone seems overwhelmed by the volume of people piling in here. On the plus side someone told me the specialists here get pulled from the Manhattan Presbyterian, so thats good (assuming you ever get to see them). Criminals that are in handcuffs are being seen before people that have been waiting for hours. They might have good specialists but dont come to the emergency room here. Go somewhere else. I dont know who the hell runs a hospital like this. But they deserve to lose their job. Scary part is theres thousands of people relying on this hospital.

Honesty Kills The most awful ER service in Queens for those in need. I understand many come with non serious issues, but they don’t know the difference. I used to love coming here when my kids were young and they had emergencies but it’s not worth it unless you have time to kill or you want to be killed… Readers beware it doesn’t get better unless your guts are coming out of your mouth. Staff just sits there careless and making constant jokes. This is not the place where lives matter, definitely a place for you to die in agony. They place you in the hallway and leave you there waiting for hrs.

Arslan Aleem 10 hours to get a kid’s diagnosis for flu in the emergency room. Only good aspect was some nurses were providing stickers and toys because it was Christmas Eve. Asides from that, the shortage of doctors going around was very disappointing. I had to ask for each specific test or update to be done for my kid. They said they will do specific test but you have to constantly remind them what test needs to be done. Unfortunate.

DAVIS DUENAS The worst service for a knee operation scheduled for 10:30 am. They make the patient wait more than 6 hours because the doctor did not arrive and not room available. Not to mention that the patient has not eaten since the previous day. Not rrecomend. Thanks.

TENZIN WANGCHEN This hospital emergency room very irresponsible employees in this hospital. I went to this emergency room for my kid was getting fever and they came to ask urine then about one hour after came to pick up. Employees are never mutually think about patients. Please be careful

Viviana Nunez Emergency room is a 5- 6 hours wait and when they get u in, u have to wait another 5 hours to see the doctor. I have been in this chair for 10 hours in pain and no medication or anything to make patients feel better. Never coming to this hospital again.

Cheung Wayne (Wayne C) 12 hours ordeal in the emergency waiting room sitting on hard uncomfortable seats ! my in law was injured by the MTA bus’s door, she literally waited the whole day get get X ray and other tests. the check out process was another 2 hours of misery. one of the worst hospital experience ever.

B-Spider Cherry A mixed bag but the long and short they killed my partner through intentional neglect, bad advice to naive relatives and some staff were outright abusive. PA Hoda on West 4 must be fired. She was disgusting and said rude crazy things to me and my partner. She also touched his eyelids without any gloves or hand washing and without telling him what she was as doing first. She has NO BUSINESS IN MEDICAL FIELD at all. She belongs in an asylum for the insane. Roberta on the nursing staff was beautiful and kind like an angel and her partner Alyssa nursing staff was fantastic. They were loving and competent and Bob, LNA was very wonderful also as well as most of the nursing staff were good. Some LNAs were physically rough and incompetent. I had to watch their every move as they were too rough and wild moving him around and kept nearly hitting his head into the bed rail (he already had a head injury and was paralyzed so couldnt hold his head up). They tried to get me out of the room when they wanted to move him and I said no way, I am holding his head and they were smashing his head into my hand where I was holding him, in such a way that if my hand was not there his head would be hitting the rail. I dont know if they treat everyone like this but this is how he was treated with someone there watching. I can only imagine how cruel and callous they are to people with nobody there. I am too sad to be angry but if I meditated on the anger it would enrage me. I cant say if it is the hospital or if other hospitals would have been better or worse but I would give zero stars if I could and 5 stars x 1008 to Roberta and Alyssa and Bob
