Jasmin Sanabria Don’t go to this hospital!!! The worst staff and incompetent! Ive had two really bad experiences with this hospital. The first I hurt myself and felt I had a hernia. I was in extreme pain. After the c.t scan they told me there was nothing wrong. The doctor was very arrogant and insisted I was fine and sent me home. I went to Lenex hill hospital and turns out I had two hernias and one was strangulated. I needed immediate surgery. Second more recent experience I went to the emergency room with dangerously high blood pressure for two days after a bad fall 2 weeks prior suffering from a concussion. It was the afternoon. The staff was very rude and slow, they ignored the fact that my pressure was high and showed a lack of experience. They never treated my pressure and only checked it once in the 6 hours I was there. And said it wasn’t high enough at the time they checked to be an emergency even though it was way above the normal rate. And I couldn’t lower it on my own for two days. I told them it was fluctuating between 145/95 to 179/115 throughout the day even going to 205 but was sent home. I had to go to another hospital later that night.

T M This hospital is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. Ive never experienced such unkindness from medical staff. The majority are unprofessional, desensitized, and communicate in an aggressive manner, treating patients with little respect. They often make assumptions and speak to you as if youre not articulate. Ive been here several times, and this experience was by far the worst. If you or a family member is admitted, please ensure someone stays with them, as the treatment is appalling. Only a few staff members showed any kindness or compassion. To make matters worse, I had to assist my father in moving from the transport bed to the table for a CT scan, despite having a medical condition myself. When I communicated my needs, it was ignored because they claimed there was no staff available. This place feels like hell, and I cant understand why it remains open—there must be countless lawsuits against them. I cannot recommend this hospital at all.

Yvonne Thomas The emergency department is one of the worst in The Bronx. The lack of caring and professionalism is unacceptable. They drag their feet to help you and act like you are here to bother them. I came I’m by ambulance and the ambulance staff had to wait 30 to just give them a report and they were not that busy. I heard the doctor telling someone oh this is just the flu before even talking to me. He had a smerk on his face. I’m in the medical field and if I treated someone like this on my job I would be terminated.also the bathroom was disgusting there was feces on the walls and urine on the floor and it’s always like this. My IV was empty and blood started backing up and I asked if someone can address and everyone ignored me until I started yelling for it to be addressed. One nurse said I have a patient to get to I explained it only takes one second to close the IV line so the blood will stop coming into the tube. She just said no and kept walking. I feel sorry for someone who can’t advocate for them. Shame on you north central.

Luisa Ruiz I do not recommend the place at all, I was there for around 8 hrs and all the patients were discharge but I had to wait all the time for some results that they already had, the female doctor was in a rush all the time, she did some gyn procedures on me and she even cut me because she was on a rush. My hand is swelling really bad and it’s purple because they pick the wrong vein and then they had to use my order arm for blood. And at the time they was going to give me results the doctor told me basically that I didn’t have nothing and I still have a lot of symptoms and she was on a rush too and sounded so mean like she didn’t care the health of the patient. 0/5 for this place. Btw the guy who did my blood was really nice and always there but I just think he needs more practice.

Lisa Hall I arrived at the ED around 4pm. It was about 4 people in the waiting area. I waited less than 10 mins before i got triaged. They took me in the back a nurse came and asked me 2 questions without introducing herself and told me I was going for x-ray. Waited an 1.5hrs before she came back and asked me to pee. Shortly after that X-ray came. Im still waiting for my results 2hrs later.

rizik rizik I was looked at right away. Overall yes you have to wait but is an emergency room what can you expect. I was treated very nicely by everyone which is the most important thing.

Denise Ford This hospital’s ER is a great place to get seen and it usually isn’t busy, however I don’t know what the issue was when I went to receive help. I checked into the ER around 10pm and was seen around 15 minutes later by a female doctor. (4-5 hours later) - At 3AM I explain that I wanted to step out to get some fresh air. ( it was exceptionally warm in the ER), I was told that I could not step out and if I stepped out that I would be charged again by a Doctor Elfar ….. because it was his choice. Meaning it was up to him if I could step out of the ER to get some air and comeback without having to go through the intake process again. Meanwhile, I was not told that my ER Doctor was changed, I was not notified of any results, essentially I received nothing not even a courtesy update. When I am seeking medical assistance from the ER and I’m sitting in the waiting room for over 5 hours, some information is better than no information. Stepping outside for a min won’t change anything, especially if I am just coming back to wait for another 3-4 hours. (FYI- ER had less than 10 people)

Reeti I grew up by this hospital but never had to come in for myself. I came in for my son today and the staff is wonderful. My experience was wonderful. I didn’t know how long I would be here because the ER is unpredictable, since anything can happen to anyone, at any time. I am grateful that I was here for about two to three hours. They were caring and made sure to communicate. I would recommend it. I pray others have an easy and wonder experience, as well.

Rosey B The freaking worse. They say preventative care is the best care. You definitely will not receive this attending this clinic. I was given an appointment for a primary care physician 6 months in the future only to have it cancelled 2 days before the appointment with no phone call or explanation on why now they wanted to push the appointment back an additional 3 months. (9 months to get a physical they trying to kill patients. What ever problem you have will only get worse waiting 9 months for care. The doctors know this is wrong but dont care about their patients if they keep pushing the appointment back to later dates) Therefore was caused stress which is the number 1 cause of ailment instead of the care I so desperately needed and waited 6 months to get only to not be able to get the care I was seeking.

ammy B The worst hospital I’ve ever been in! I was scheduled an appointment here as a new patient for PCP and was assigned L Sikyrynska. The nurse was decent I didn’t get her name but the medical assistant didn’t even greet me just told me to sit down to start my vitals. The PA Sikyrnska was judgemental and rude. All the questions she ask me, she asked me with her back turned facing her computer as I sat in a chair behind her at end of the room and she didn’t look back at me not even once. Every intake room they put me in was filthy and the equipment was very dusty! The doors was covered in dirt and cracked up. And the bathroom OMG the walls were deteriorating and nasty, gave me chills looks like something from a horror film. I changed my PCP the same exact day. Also it took 3 months to get the appointment.

Amanda Reid The sonogram technician really needs to be switched out. It’s a certain level of “Bedside” manners and giving the patient great experience while pregnant with child. Such a cold experience to go through in that basement where the sonograms take place. Working in the medical field, you have to understand the contagion of moods. It leaves an impression on the hospital/Clinic

Arianna Anais I held off on writing this review because I had already had one negative experience with a pediatrician for my son before beginning to bring him to this clinic. Although I was uncomfortable with his pediatricians all wanting information and details on my pregnancy and birth despite him being healthy, all of the initial visits seemed fine. On the last visit before switching doctors the pediatrician hed been seeing was out and he had to be seen by a pediatrician named Dr N Maseda. Initially the visit seemed to be the same as the rest asking for details about his development and any concerns I might have had, when suddenly she asked my nine month old baby who mama was while doing a hand gesture around his head/body and behind his back that resulted in him pointing to her. When I noticed it and said did he just point at you when you asked him who mama was, she got surprised that I noticed and casually said yes before leaving the room and returning with a print out and a childrens book as a gift to for him. This was extremely disturbing and concerning to me and as a black single mother. I have to be extremely vigilant about people with my son and encourage all underprivileged single mothers of color to do the same. I would not recommend this clinic.

Babs Cast I give them five stars because I am diabetic and they on it like definitely on it. The only thing I don’t like is back to back appointments. I do not receive Medicaid and this is out come from my pockets so financially it hurts a little bit but as for the doctors, they perfectly great great, the only thing I said is back to back appointment for the same thing with different doctors but other than that, they absolutely great

Jasmine S. I came here for COVID-19 testing only and it was pretty quick. I got there about 10 minutes before 8am (opening time on Saturday) and it opened 10 minutes late. The entrance to the testing area is a fenced gate next to the Spring Bank on Gerard Avenue. They have a priority line for NYC H+H and city employees (on the right hand window but the line to get swabbed is on the left hand side by the barricades). I pre-registered online so intake only took a minute. I docked a star for the late opening (on a cold, rainy day), one of the intake reps wasnt wearing a mask before she opened her window, and one of the swab nurses was on the phone completely ignoring that people needed to be tested (her fellow nurse in a different station wasnt happy lol). *Update* Hours as of 1/4 are Monday-Sunday 7am-7pm but check NYC H+H site for updated hours and holiday closings. You can grab one (1) free rapid COVID-19 home test kit from one of the representatives with a NYC H+H ID badge (you dont have to wait in the testing line). Only one test per person (you can not get a test for someone who is not physically there at the site) and you cant get a test if youre getting tested that day. The lines have been crazy long so its best to get there before they open so you have a short (less than 45 mins) wait. This site only does PCR testing.

Ivan Rodriguez If I could get zero stars for this hospital, zero stars will be the absolute best even -0. I feel like this hospital was just very racist and very ignorant when it comes down to employment and to as well as staff I apply for a position there where I meet every requirement standard and I apply early than what it posted and I didn’t get the job even though I meet the requirements for the hospital job. Don’t waste your time with this place because this place is just a absolute disgusting individual environment. I wouldn’t throw a dog in this place.

William Sayej STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING MONTEFIORE OWNED. I am in utter disbelief behind the incompetence, and negligence that this hospital in-poses on its patients. Dont even try to contact the Patient Advocate, because they obviously dont exist. I am unable to talk to anyone at the hospital about the negligence and am now going to be filing a report with the department of health and a lawsuit. Please if you love your life, stay away from Montefiore

Amari Jeremiah Hilton NURSE NICOLE!!!!! ❤️❤️ Nurse Nicole kept her area of the ER running for over 11 hours. She was so courteous, thoughtful, professional, and eager to help. Yes, the wait time was long but it’s the city! However, Nurse Nicole attended to her patients with the same energy for her entire shift. I’m inspired by her kindness, knowledge, and hospitality. Man, she was there in corners getting patients blood and shifting through tight spaces nonstop. Also, the medical team was phenomenal!! Im captivated by their process of moving patients throughout the ER Dept. Shout out to the Transport Team!!!!! Not forgetting LPN Duaj(wrong spelling) who was working overtime doing MRIs. RN Shanice Thompson, thank you for being part of the medical/care team!!

Herby Phanord Took my 15 year old daughter to the ER this past Valentine’s Day and the experience was absolutely horrible. I asked one of the staff members her name and she responded by bringing her ID card to my face and says I’m a PA. I was too embarrassed to tell her that I wasn’t wearing my glasses and that I wanted her to tell me her name so that I can tell my daughter who’s care she would be under as I waited outside the exam room. One of the nurses assigned to my daughter didn’t introduce herself to either me or my daughter and started poking her with a needle several times because she couldn’t find a vein for the IV. After her failed attempts she asks my daughter, ‘are you always like this?’ As if it were my daughter’s fault that she couldn’t find a vein. My daughter responds to the nurses inquiry by stating, “this is my first time in an ER.” It was only then did the nurse turned to me and asks me what my relationship to the patient was, to which i responded, “I’m her father.” The nurse then says, “Oh” and mumbles something as she walked away. To this my daughter looks over at me and asks, “Is it because I’m black papa?” A more experienced nurse walks in, introduces herself, asks me what my relationship to the patient was, and proceeds to successfully find a vein. I thank this nurse for her exemplary bedside manner and explain to her what my daughter experienced to which the experienced nurse tries to reassure me that it is not what I think it is and that the nurse who was assigned to my daughter is married to a black man, as if colorism is not a level of discrimination that exists among people of color and that the less experienced nurse was simply having a bad day. After waiting nearly five hours for a CT scan the more experienced nurse convinces me not to discharge my daughter under the doctors care and that what I was experiencing at the Hospital was not what I concluded it to be, which was racial discrimination and poor bedside manner. If you are reading this and are maybe considering choosing the ER at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital for your medical needs and have other options then I will strongly urge you to take your chances at another medical facility but if you are experiencing an emergency then by all means do what is best for you. It is important to mention that not all the staff at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital lacked professionalism. No. They are staff working at this hospital that made me feel as if my daughter was in good hands and they are very good at what they do. To those staff members I say to you keep up the good work. I thank you for your services. If you are reading this and you are someone who can make a difference at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital ER then by all means please do better for the community to which you serve and depend on.

Rosibel Fernández 0/10 experience in the ER. Brought my younger brother in at 10pm with a broken wrist. We’ve been asking for updates every hour without any luck. After expressing our frustrations and anger with the “fast track” nurse, a doctor finally came to speak to us at 4am and told us they haven’t been able to reach the orthopedic doctor and that we can go home against medical advice and come back on a different day to do the whole process again and see if then the orthopedic doctor will be available or to go to a different hospital. They could’ve told us that hours ago and chose not to. Six hours of our time wasted, sitting in an uncomfortable chair in pain without being given any treatment or plan for the fracture and unable to sleep because they didn’t even have the decency to put my brother in a bed. Absolutely ridiculous! DO BETTER!

Child Venus (Monroe College) The most depressive place on the face of the earth. My son was having horrible side effects to a medication. The receptionist didnt even attempted to call doctor on the floor, stepdad stepped in, I was almost into tears, somehow some doctor came out just to tell us my son had to wait until Monday, my son having almost convulsing like symptoms. Time doesnt feel in that place, is like stepping into a dead zone. Im still haunted by visiting that bpc state hospital. On top of that a nurse stabbed my son on his hand with a pen, no report was done against her.

Shakyna Gorden If I could this clinic 0 I would. The receptionists are horrible. They are ghetto, slow, and always have an attitude no matter how nice you speak. They leave you on hold for hours if you call and if you come in for an appointment youll be standing on line for 20 minutes just to sign`in or ask a question though there are only about 5 people in the waiting area. They bring their personal lives into the workplace like how rude can you be. Eventually youll get called in to see the doctor after an hour long wait and after that you have to wait an extended amount of time for the doctor to actually come to your room. Last time I called around looking for the doctor after waiting a half hour in the room. No one could find her and my daughter ended up seeing a different doctor. Its even worst to call on the phone. Be prepared to be hung up on numerous times or be sent back to the beginning of the operating system. This place is despicable. I cant wait to get my daughter out of there.

Mel P I have been going here for a few years and I hate it the only reason I stay is because I love my doctor and it is so hard to find a good doctor. Dr. Cunningham is great and if this review was just about her I would give it 5+ stars, the clinic on the other hand is HORRIBLE!!!! I have been trying to get someone on the phone all day just to ask if my prescriptions are there for pick up and they would not pick up the phone and the only time they did the lady made sure I could not get a word out before she put me on hold of over 30 min before I was hung up on,this happens all the time. If you have to call you would have to take a whole day just to try and hope you get someone on the phone, this was my only day off work this week and I spent it on the phone try to call this place, your better off wasting gas to go down there to ask a question rather than call. Now when I have an appointment it is just as bad, no matter what time your appointment is even if you are early or late you will be there for 4+ hours, you should not have to spend the same amount of time in a clinic that you would spend in a emergence room. They over book the doctors so no matter how much your doctor wants to get people in and out they cant. The place is so unprofessional it unbelievable, its so loud you can barely hear your name being called the staff is cold and dont even care if you have been sitting there for hours sick and havent even see a nurse yet they just want you to leave them alone. The clinic does not care about the quality of there place or customer service all they care about is getting as many patients as possible so they can get as much money as possible. They wont hire more staff to help handle the work load and the staff that they do have hate it there themselves. Like I said before Dr. Cunningham is a very great doctor and for that reason and that reason only I have still come here but the day she leaves is the day I leave right with her. She is to good of a doctor to be there and I hope she does leave and find a place where she doesnt have to deal with such chaos.

Decibell I had appointments for both boys ,i arrived 15 mins late for one appointment but I was stuck in traffic and literally ran the last 4 blcks to try to make it. I arrived out of breathe could barely speak. I asked if they can make an exception and see the little since there was no one else in the waiting area. They flat out said no and said she had other apps but there wasnt another soul in there. I asked the nurse as well she said no, even after I cried because I just felt so overwhelmed. Not only were they cold and uncaring but they didnt even offer water when they saw I could barely speak. Just terrible experience. I myself am a medical assistant and I show my patients 100 x more compassion than I was shown. It was a very bad visit I left with a headache and one child without a physical. Contemplating just switching facilities.

Rita Labuzova I am from Brooklyn and I compared my experience with Presbyterian hospital. Waiting time for my appointment much better. Everyone is trying to help you, because the hospital is huge and it is not easy to find right please, but everyone comes to help. Knowledgeable doctors. I give 5 stars.

Alexandra Nunez I’d honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. Their communication system is worse than before and it’s always been terrible. The fact that it’s gotten worse is baffling. I have the past hour trying to communicate with them via phone call to reschedule a very important missed appointment. I’m trying to communicate to reschedule and it’s always a problem. Their automatic voice mail box system (gives you options to pick from) put me on hold and then it just hung up. I called again and picked a different option to speak to a nurse, and she said she couldn’t help me and I tried explaining I called already and picked the option to schedule or reschedule an appointment and she said it’s not her job to help me with scheduling which, sure whatever that’s one thing. But if I’m explaining to you that your system is not properly working, I think she could’ve taken 2minutes to help me reschedule that appointment. It’s very unprofessional and a disservice to patients to literally dismiss them and put them on hold again with no guarantee that someone will help me. I have no idea what on earth I’m gonna do for my emergency rescheduling. I’m going to consider looking for a new office entirely. Last time I even had an in person visit, someone filled in for my doctor cuz she’s never there. And the person filling in also rushed my visit? I go all the way over there just to be rushed? And I call just to be dismissed? Unacceptable. Do better if you guys plan to stay open.

jojo I don’t recommend it. Long waits and bad service. Don’t take Dr. Ruth Barrow, left me pregnant for 41 weeks knowing I had preeclampsia. I had to get an emergency c section. The umbilical cord was wrapped around my sons neck twice because she recommended I stood pregnant for an extra week. Like what? I went to the hospital multiple times in pain and was never scheduled a c section or anything. Horrible experience. Honestly very careless doctor.

Emily Terrible care for infant/toddler… heartless Doctors and nurses. They would rather have a child die than to be seen. A child with 105 fever wait around for zero help. For this hospital to see zero fault and nothing wrong with the situation are money hungry human. Dr. Elfar and nurse Saleemoh will get what they deserve in life… life has a funny way of paying you back.

Justin Lawrence This place is terrible. I was a patient here, and being held in this facility did nothing to help my mental health—in fact, it made things worse. When admitted, they made me sign documents without explaining what I was signing, taking advantage of people who are not in the right state of mind. Earlier this month, I hit an extreme low where I no longer saw the point in life. A friend called EMS, and I was brought here. Upon arrival, they took everything from me—my phone, wallet, and clothes—leaving me with nothing but my underwear. The staff was unhelpful and uncommunicative. The nurses never gave straight answers, constantly lying about when the doctor would see me. They would say "five minutes," but the doctor would either take much longer or never show up at all. The facility itself is isolating—there are no clocks or windows, so you have no sense of time, which only worsens your mental state. At one point, I reached a breaking point, and it took nine security guards to restrain me. One particular guard was especially rude and condescending; she should not be allowed to work with patients. To make matters worse, they don’t allow visitors. If your loved ones try to visit, they will be turned away, cutting you off from any outside support. Do not bring your struggling loved ones here. The staff does not care about the mentally ill, and this facility will only worsen their condition.

Tyisha Taylor This is one of thee most unprofessional facilities I have ever encountered. From the phone operator to the doctors are extremely rude, very unprofessional, everyone has an attitude they are not informative or helpful. When you do call they act like your bothering them, The 8th floor is the worst you can’t even understand what there saying because of there accents but then there rude, they yell tell you they don’t care. I’ve actually had to call the state on this place.

rome Robinson Worse hospital for mentally ill patients. They never answer the phone have any information on the loved one. The person who answers the phone never get you to the right doctor. Then the messages you leave are ignored. This place is supposed to be helping out people instead they make them more crazy so they can increase their stay. I understand nyc gave out so many stimuluses that their broke. And they have to recoup the money best way they know how. But with our loved ones no it has to get better. Just because people are mentally challenged does not mean they do not have people who love them!

Katie I was a patient at this hospital not too long ago my experience there was overall terrible. The Doctors and nurses were disrespectful. Trying to sleep is impossible due to the fact the beds are so hard causing bruising to the skin. During the day you would have school and have a group or 2 then afterward you do nothing else but be bored.

Mrs. E. M. Branch I have the opportunity to take my mom to doctors appointment and even nursing facilities not the overall expense has been very frame and disappointing. Even at her short stay at Montefiore. The only initial good experience I had was in the emergency room and with medical records. Particularly Ms Lola Campbell of medical records who was exceptional, kind, respectful, and a decent human being. Everyone should have a similar attitude like hers and making people feel welcome.

Shantice Whyte Its not often I feel accommodated or understood at a hospital. Because Im there for treatment because of whatever illness. But the STAFF here. The nurses, the nurse assistants, the cafeteria staff, the cleaners, the doctors. They were all working together, hand in hand, communication was great, and organizational and roles were understood and followed and went beyond that.. Im grateful to them, and I love their visitors policy because I really needed my partner and familial support. Only critique is. The space in the ER between beds is ridiculous the staff have nothing to do with that of course but even they cant get to do their jobs properly because of that Ossie and its reaching to a point where its a privacy violation issue.

Felix Pena I checked in to the ER at 9:30am and did not leave until 10:20pm. From the delays in results to the lack of accommodations for people like myself who are unable to walk. I was told to wait on a bed and forgotten about. I sat there as I watched people come in and go out and I was being told to wait. The hours felt like days and everyone on the ER floor seemed like they were doing anything but their job. The transportation staff had me sitting in a wheelchair for at least an hour before I got taken back to the er after my first x-ray and by my second x-ray I had to ask If I could just leave. I never experienced something like this in my life.

Juice Ali Be careful when you come to this facility they gas you up by saying how wonderful this place is but when I got here is little shop of horror’s you can listen to my review but don’t say I didn’t warned you I Came to this Rehabilitation Facility only to feel like a Detention Center if you never been to prison you will feel like it here I had to force a discharge from this place with all the B.S. that goes on here they want to tell you what to do and when to do it there is no consistency in their operations too much condridictions regarding the rules and regulations you get no privacy when you used the restrooms or when you can shower I have nothing good to say about this place just a word of advised pay attention to your job because someone is watching when your not and stop using linen closet as a way to not do your job properly.

I had surgery last week at this location, and I would like to give a good review because the doctors, PA, the nurses and assistance were mostly exceptionally good. The social worker team is the one that ruined it all for me, this is not my first surgery on the same area, I have never had such a neglecting, careless and abandoning social worker team, really the worst.

Anyway, please make sure to learn everything about birth and stand strong in your decisions. Dont let no one push you into unnecessary interventions or a C-section.

Varak Tucker I am deeply upset about lies put in my files from this place. It pertains to my missing necklace from earlier review and the treatment and its henderence of me getting adequate and fair treatment at any facility I may need care in the future. Which I think may have been why I was experiencing chest pains and in triage when care personnel walks away not returning put a security guard comes and wanded me down. Which has never been done before and as though I was under high suspicion of having some sort of weapon or dangerous. They said I was throwing things around. Which is very much a lie. Because my arm was swollen and sore where contrast dye from cat scan was compromised and leaked into my arm. Also there was another very ill man in the room and I would never put anyone in harms way. I would like to know what I had to throw around the room . When I got back there my bed had been remade and necklace missing. The women at desk acted like I was a joke laughing primarily because of missing teeth from bone density loss after taking I medicine causing my teeth to become brittle and break easily and increased the severity of a head injury. It is, Im certain the staff handling the investigation of my necklace called the police in before simply explaining the I should get a lawyer. After seeing this now I will seek more than just compensation for my lawyer. I want to know who is responsible for this life threatening slander of my name and possible lethal assault on my character. Why is that in my medical chart it has nothing at all to do with my health and put there with the intent to further cause me unnecessary scrutiny.

Naty C The Worse ER, the nurses are just there for money and not to help the people or honor their carrier. They roll their eyes on patients and are always with attitude; they should close that ER so no one goes there. That way they get what they wanted, that is no job.

Leesa O MUST READ!! IF YOU HAVE A CHILD BELOW THE AGE OF 18YO, DO NOT! TAKE THEM TO LINCOLN HOSPITAL. They have no pediatric psych department for children. When you get there, they ask you whats wrong, depending on how bad your child is going through something, they drug them and or strap them down and leave them in the back. These children sit or lay in an open, but isolated area in the back with no doctor or therapist to talk to for days. Other than a Psych doctor coming in around 9-10am to call their name and ask, "Do you feel like hurting yourself or others"?. If they say no, they go home. But God forbid they say yes or you allow them to be admitted. Then they will be trapped there for days on end with nothing to do or anyone to talk to, no diagnosis or actual mental health treatment because the whole time you will be "waiting for a bed" at another hospital that actually see pediatric psych patients. They wont discharge your child for you to take them to another hospital yourself because they were marked for admission and cant leave unless by them in an ambulance to go to the other hospital. "According to their policy " While there they use coercion, threats of calling ACS or you getting thrown out, bullying and intimidation tactics to keep you your child there and to keep you from refusing drugs for your child or leaving with your child, when they do nothing to help them. It really breaks my heart to know children are being treated like that. There would be 0 stars, but the one star could be for some of the good nurses that are there. *Photo of little room in back where psych children stay.

Phoenix O. Weve been in the E.R. for 2 nights! Because they didnt have rooms available! Why admit her??? Then to add insult to injury they put my mom who has Alzheimers, is non verbal above what sound like a generator thats loud, so much so, that the room reverberates, is Cold and they have the room close because she has Covid!! If you ask me, it feel like they want to kill her, and have me go insane!!! Sucks to be poor! Youre sick and theres no consideration, or empathy!! My complaints have fallen on deaf ears, so I decided to write this review to keep my sanity somewhat intact!!

Debra morales Please start recording your experience at this hospital!!! Like I did. It the only way to advocate for yourself! Sending my videos to every news channel as well as guest relations.... If I could give it zero stars I would! Do not I repeat do not come to the ER at Lincoln hospital. They treat there patients like trash and neglect them. Especially the night staff! I went in for chest problems, eyes and lyphnodes extremely inflamed till the point I was ready to pass out, i had high fever & chills. I begged and begged for motrin for hours just for them to keep telling me there was no doctors on the floor and had to wait to see a Dr to even receive water in which i did not recieve, even after waiting 5hours. Staff were fighting to take my ekg because both wanted to go on break! Till the point I couldnt take it anymore and requested to speak to the head nurse ALEx... and guess what he told me ? There is no doctors available not even to give me motrin or water!!!! (I have video regarding this claim)There was no staff available because they all sit in the triage area and make fun and tease the drunks & junkies in which I have video of that as well... even the EMT join in, spreading everyones business as to why they are there( against hippa) Not to mention Alex the head floor nurse quickly dismissed me when i brong it to his attention. I waited another hour till I had to walk out untreated and go to another hospital to recieve treatment. Best decision I ever made! Come to find out i had strept throat that developed into pneumonia! I was in so much pain and they all watch, Imean all staff watch you suffer. Will never be returning to Lincoln beside to make my complaint to guest relations. They purposely treat there night time patients as such because theres no where to go or anyone to speak to even if you are being neglected! We are so neglected that they never know where they patients are until they realize they left and or walked out like I had to do before I probably would have died!

Fatu Kebbeh If you feeling very ill please don’t bother yourself to go to Lincoln Hospital. I had the worst experience ever. I was very sick and I called 911 cause I couldn’t barely walk or feel my hands. 911 sent me a transportation and took me to Lincoln Hospital and it was my first time there. Once I got to the hospital I couldn’t even walk, they didn’t even care. I was waiting on the line and there was a gentleman before me he asked me if I was okay and I said no. He told the nurses to take care of me and they said they can’t do anything I have to wait. When it was my turn some of the nurses had such a attitude. I was sitting in the waiting room for hours and mind you I couldn’t even sit down. When they called me to the cabin to explain to them what’s wrong with me the lady was very understanding and she said for me to go to the nurses to tell them I’m very sick if they can please help me I went to them and they said YOU GOTTA WAIT! ITS ONLY 4 DOCTORS HERE. I understand that there’s no doctors there but if you see a patient like that you need to try your best for her to be taken care of. My mom came in and she saw I was very sick she went to the nurses and they said they can’t do anything about it and if I wish I can go somewhere else cause it’s a lot of people there. Like are you serious? You gonna look someone dying and you gonna tell that person to find somewhere? I had to call an Uber and go to another hospital and once I got to that hospital they took care of me right away and I’m feeling much better thanks to them. Lincoln hospital it’s the worst ever! It was my first and my last time there.

The entire staff is very compassionate about their job. And was very loving towards my uncle. Also my uncles pcp was Dr.Dave ( best internal medicine doctor) also stood on top of him during his stay.

marina ndoci Two days ago, I gave birth at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, and I am beyond grateful for the incredible care I received. My experience exceeded all expectations in every aspect. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Rozafa Pali for her professionalism, patience, and clarity throughout the entire process. Her expertise and reassuring presence made me feel safe and well cared for every step of the way. I also cannot thank the nurses and staff enough for their kindness, warmth, and unwavering support. Their friendliness and positivity made me feel truly at home rather than in a hospital. They went above and beyond to ensure both my baby and I were comfortable, creating an environment of genuine care and compassion. Additionally, the cleanliness and overall service were outstanding. Every detail was meticulously attended to, contributing to a sense of security and well-being. I wholeheartedly recommend Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital to anyone seeking a safe, supportive, and caring environment for childbirth. Words cannot fully capture my gratitude, as there is so much more I could say about this exceptional hospital.

Tori Buie I will NEVER return here. I brought my 4-year-old daughter in after she woke up with a 105.7-degree fever, but the doctor ignored her medical history. It wasnt until I took her to NewYork-Presbyterian that they actually listened and discovered she had a bacterial infection. Despite my tears and desperate pleas for help at Montefiore, I was met with yelling and scolding. Always advocate for your children! If I had followed their advice, my daughter could have become septic again. Shame on you all!

Jasmine C I’ll never step foot in this hospital again, the security guards are not friendly nor welcoming. They’re not helpful also, saying nasty rude things underneath their breath. It’s really childish. This is how grown adults conduct themselves while working in a professional environment. Some of the staff need to be evaluated. Doctors/nurses that work here need more training they seem reluctant to get you out fast without really checking to see if anything is wrong with the patient. This hospital is one of the worst Montefiore hospitals that I’ve ever visited. Mount Vernon Montefiore doesn’t even do the non sense they do here at this location.
