John Gallo I went in for having a mass in my lung. The surgical team removed it. I stopped breathing and was put on ventilator and breathing tube. If it wasnt for the hospital, Id probably be dead. And I cant say enough for the nursing staff. They were amazing. The ladies Julia & Olivia worked at night were fantastic. And Cindy and the gentlemen nurse during day were great too. I was in TCICU.

S Christopher “Chris” Great nurses and staff and the ER doctor was great. However I had appendicitis and the surgeon De La Cruz was an awful human being.
He tried to send me home and scolded me about getting my life together and that I had been to the hospital before. He clearly stated he did not want to do the surgery. Well I got my results back after the surgery and I had internal bleeding in my appendix and it was inflamed.
How could this person be allowed to perform surgery when he was about to send me home and possibly I would have had my appendix ruptured?!

Janay Pringle DO NOT bring your loved one to this hospital unless you want them to die. We were instructed by her physician to take my grandmother to the ER because her Potassium and Sodium was low. Physically she was fine and her normal self. We were told that this would just be an over night stay. However, this turned into 8 days of being hospitalized. We arrived at 11:30 am and I stayed until 10:30pm trying to wait until she got a room. When we returned the next day at 1:30pm my grandmother was still laying in the bed in the same exact spot in the hallway. She didnt get a room until 7pm! During her stay, she got the flu and caught a UTI. They changed her room & didnt notify us that she got the flu & that the reason for the change which was to isolate her, they lost her pants, socks & underwear and refused to reimburse us, she was never given a property sheet for her belongings. I was told that her personal belongings mustve went home with her roommate when they got discharged which is completely unacceptable! The nurse manager Christine refused to give me the information to Patient Admin and stated that she would report it on my behalf and refused to take any responsibility. They wasnt feeding her or bathing her. We had to ask the Nurse Assistant to change her gown because it was dirty. He asked if we wanted him to bathe her, we said yes. We stayed for over an hour and he never circled back to clean her. The night staff in the 8th Tower occupy their time with being on the phone and sleeping during their shift. A nurse reported false elevated erroneous lab results. When she got discharged, she could no longer walk without assistance, she was drooling on herself, had a flexed elbow/ upper limb spasticity, was holding food in her mouth as if she forgot how to chew and swallow and was incoherent. How could someone who was in good health, dancing & her normal self decline so rapidly in 8 days! I believe that while in their care she possibly suffered a mild stroke that was overlooked or someone made a mistake and gave her the wrong medication. I requested her medical records in an attempt to investigate what occurred and Ryan Wimbiscus in the Quality Care Management Department gave me such a hard time. He gave me false information with the intent to discourage me to obtain her medical records. When I got all of the required documents notarized he purposely gave me an inactive fax number. I waited two weeks and after not receiving her records I called to follow up and there was no requests for her records in the system. My grandmother never recovered and passed away less than 3 months later. My biggest regret was taking her to this hospital. If we didnt, I know she would still be alive
The staff of this hospital doesnt follow protocol, they are insensitive and seem to be in collusion when a mistake is made or a death occurs. They are willing to cover up anything!

C_Gee_331 Upton I was admitted for surgery on January 2nd as a patient of Dr. Nikfarjam (phenomenal plastic surgeon) and I have to say the care was fantastic. From the anesthesiologist (Winston the best ever) to the nurses which I will list below. Four days in a private room with of the best care one could ever ask for. So special shout out to the nurses that cared for me and went above and beyond (sorry in advance for any misspellings): Vivienne, Ashley, Andrea, Chrishelle, Donna, Harleen, Becca, Irena, Lindsey and a few others I didn’t catch their names. And last but not least Dr. Nik’s PA’s who were in both my surgeries - Allie and Jaide!
