Dot Donahue No major complaints. I noticed the score was a lowly 2.7 and that doesnt seem fair. Ive been going here for about 15 years. If youre lucky enough to get Dr. Cabrera, youre set for life. She covers everything! The place is very clean. The air is pleasant. Staff is nice. MyChart is extremely useful. I can easily request appointments and medication refills, and even email a nurse with any random health question. Test results are available on the site within a few hours! One of the best features is they alert you when an earlier appt opens up, and you can accept it through the portal. It also has tons of your health records accessible, even from 15 years ago! Sure there are some downsides. But those issues would apply to any large doctors office, and they dont deter my 5⭐ rating.

Kari Baxter They claim both online and in their phone message that they’re open from 8-5 and take calls during those hours, but that’s untrue. Further, when you do finally get ahold of someone, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get an appointment, even as an established patient.

Toad Tomma (Kat) The doctors are very nice and pleasant. But on two separate occasions I had set up appointments and a few days before each one the doctor was not in so they had to schedule me further out. By the time I had finally gone in for my first appointment it had been over a few months.

michael McCorry Used to be a good place. Since VT. took over not so much. Unresponsive to referrals. Providers argumentative and condescending. Unwilling to allow personal management of your own care. Totally disappointed in the entire operation. Have left this practice and got new primary.

J R The doctors are wonderful. The office is NOT. In my experience it is poorly run. I called and went to the office a few times to find that although they are open until 4:30, they locked the doors and went home early. In my opinion, open until 4:30 means you are open until 4:30.

Austin Porter Unprofessional and rude. Worse experience ever, they made surgery and after care godawful. And getting any post op appointments after the first week is impossible as well as they don’t care, they cut into you , got their money after that they don’t care at all. Don’t recommend this place unless you want to be treated like trash and your concerns constantly ignored.

Hailey Gadway Extremely Rude and Disrespectful. Do not recommend going through them they will treat you horrible. They lie and no not answer any phone calls. When they do call you back they speak to you with a horrible tone and they couldnt care less about you. Please find someone who is professional.

Shane Foye i went here for a problem with my knee, because an urgent care center referred me. CVPH checked me out, said Id need an MRI, and told me theyd call in a few days to schedule an appointment. Two weeks went by, and I did not get a call. I had to pester them to schedule an appointment. Edit: upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars, because the care was good once I actually got into the diagnostic and surgical parts of the hospital. The MRI staff were friendly, professional, and got the job done right. Orthopedic doctors were great, and talked to me about my lifestyle before doing surgery. I am apparently healing well, so I am thankful to the surgical staff. They courageously operated on me in the middle of a pandemic. Also, if you have questions about billing, your call might get redirected a lot, but they do resolve the issues. The financial assistance people were really nice, although it doesnt look like I will need to use them. If you go here for help, make sure to be your own advocate, because you might fall through the cracks. I shudder to think about what would have happened if I didnt pester them about scheduling the MRI, which eventually diagnosed a serious problem. Oh well, alls well that ends well.

Dodd Davison LLC After 50 minutes of waiting after my appointment time and watching 8 people in the waiting room come in after me. I was still sitting in the waiting room whilst those 8 people were promptly sent through to be seen. Enough was enough. As an independent contractor, I had other appointments to do that day and I left without being seen for my appointment. The reception behind the frosted glass barrier re-scheduled me for another day and really didn’t seem to care about how long I had been waiting. What’s happening with our world. The “don’t give a crap factor” far outweighs any customer service at this “factory”

Chelsea szatkowski I will never go back after going there since I was a small child. Timothy Foley is an uncaring and terrible doctor. I dont know why he even is one. If you do a walk in and get him, expect to be dismissed and told to go home and take OTC meds. Waste of time and money. Cant ever get in to see my primary without waiting a month.

Steph Williams While I have enjoyed personal connections and reliable service with my provider, it is always a hassle coming here. Wait times are upwards of an hour or two at minimum. I had a serious health problem where no provider followed up with my care, and notified/interpreted my results of my health problem until I inquired about it thinking they would reach out. Genuinely, find somewhere else to go. This is not worth it.

lisa roberts I have been going to this office for probably 20 years and its done nothing but went downhill. If you make a phone call to them, you dont get called back for weeks. If you want results of anything you dont get a call back. The women that work in the office are rude. I dont have issues with any of the doctors here. Its the people that work in the office. Theyre just plain rude. Today was not the first time Ive noticed an attitude from the people in the office, but it will be the last time. I just spent the last hour making phone calls back and forth between the insurance and the doctors office,because i was being billed for something my insurance covers...a free yearly physical. these women in the billing department didnt want to call the insurance because they claimed they did not get a code wrong that this visit was billed under. Even though my insurance told me that it was billed under the wrong code,and even gave me the right code to give them .when i gave the right code to them they told me no thats not it,so i asked "please can you call my insurance" because my insurance specifically said to me ask them to call us and we can straighten all this out so you wont be billed for this. These women still had an issue with calling my insurance ,just kept telling me there was nothing more they could do! The last woman I spoke to in billing told me she was getting ready to leave soon so shed have to call them tomorrow instead ,even though it was only 3:40 in the afternoon, it was obvious she was just blowing me off. For some reason they did not want to admit that they had put the wrong code in and I was getting billed for it .I have no bills that i owe at this office and i have always paid my copay before my visit. Theyre going to wish they had called my insurance because my insurance would have paid for this visit...I, on the other hand, will not be. Long story short, Ive changed my primary care to a much better place.Im done with this office. Good luck to anybody who goes here.

Susie Ducatte Wouldnt write any referrals that I needed. I cant get a Mammogram even though I have had cysts that needed watching and cancer in my Family. I havent seen a neurologist in 7 yr but they give me meds for epilepsy...I have a deviated septum that was supposed to be repaired 8 years ago..ihave a rotator cuff injury that needs physical therapy a bulging disk and now necrotizing pancreatitis which i was supposed to get a referral to tge Pancreatic Cyst Center Almost 2 yearsago now are they waitingforme to die?.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS, MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS ARE ON METHADONE SUBOXONE OR THE SUCH THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY PREJUDICE. I HAVE SEEN THIS FIRST HAND. I have been lied on misdiagnosed and almost thrown in the mental ward for threatening a lawsuit 2 years ago. If I didnt have an EMT in the car as a witness I would have been. She was quick to help me and was very professional, while doing so. She had a wonderful attitude throughout the whole conversation. She was extremely helpful and had great troubleshooting skills. I commend her for her great attitude! It isnt every day one encounters, such exemplary customer service.

Brandie Besio I absolutely love this place. I have the most amazing provider. She listens to me fully. She is very open minded and doesnt act like you dont know your body. She is right on top of getting back to you if you send a message through the portal. She always funny, personable, professional and she never rushes you out the door. I wish I would have found my primary so much sooner. I was nervous to go here because I have had little to no luck with people listening when it comes to thyroid or your metabolic disorder. They kinda all use generic answers not her. She is phenomenal. If you need great care go to this place.

August Grom Jr Spent almost 3 hrs in the surgical waiting room. From the start, a "security " guard stood there flirting for almost a half hour. Once he left, one of the receptionist did nothing but cough. Not in a mask, not in her hand but out on everything that her spit could touch. The receptionist sitting next to her has done nothing but talk on her cell phone or look up food to eat..... not really what I like at hospital when people are trying to get treatment..... do better

Heather Robinson Today marks the first time Ive ever had anything but praise for CVPH. Disappointed doesnt begin to brush the surface. Upon my arrival to surgical waiting area, the heavier set receptionist, was so rude that it got the attention of others sitting. Not ok. Time is another. The patient and us were instructed that an ambulance would transport him from Alice Hyde at 430 am to arrive at CVPH by 6. Great job to the Ambulance service by the way! That was only thing all day that went as planned. My dad was brought in and told surgery be at 730. Then we were told 830. Then 830 came and went and the Dr let us know they were going to give him antibiotics for hour then needed wait an hour moving procedure to 11. 11 came and went and we werent informed of any changes. They finally took him in about 130 and was told everything went well and he handled it well. We were told in about half hour they would let a family member see him. My brother went in and came back out saying they said give the nurses about half hour to get him moved to short term stay room and we could go see him. Its now 3pm and he has not even been moved into the room yet. Needless to say we are not impressed by the continual fibbing and unorganization of the surgical system in regards to visitor and family. Ive bragged this place up since I was an employee here many years ago and today I saw first hand its chaos and questionable service. Too sad. 9 hrs so far and still waiting to see him after the procedure itself took about 20minutes. My brother went to ask the rude lady and she called them. They blaming it on shift change ( at 130?) but shift change just happened.(3) Not hour and half ago. So now were told when they get a chance they will move him. Now I need to leave to travel in the bad weather back home WITHOUT seeing him after sitting 9 hours. Which I neednt say how much it pisses me off.

Natalia My boyfriend’s been here 5 times in the last month because he had got rhabdo. The treatment for rhabdo is hydration meaning they should have flushed him with Ivs they refused to give him any but that’s not the worst each time he’s had to get blood work and the nurses roll his veins or just miss , he doesn’t have bad veins and been told by the Champlain hhhh that he would actually be a perfect test subject because of how easy it is to take his blood. DONT come here it’s trash.

L BroMac Nurses in the Labor & Delivery were highly unprofessional and violated HIPPA rights multiple times. They also meddled regarding family relationships and caused permanent damage for both families. When we went to administration to report our concerns, they didnt want to get involved. We met with a patient advocate, which at first, we thought would be helpful, but the advocate ended up violating confidentiality also. The nurses and pediatrician in the maternity department also pressured the new mother to go against her wishes and rights to allow a boyfriend to sign official documents despite the new mother informing the pediatrician that the boyfriend was not involved and not on the birth certificate. All of these people formed PERSONAL opinions by making assumptions, without having full information (which they had no right to) and acted upon their opinions by violating their patients rights. We are waiting to see if we will be suing this hospital for violating patients rights. This hospital has no concern for UPHOLDING PATIENTS RIGHTS. THE STAFF DONT THINK THEY NEED TO BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY KNOW BETTER THAN THEIR PATIENTS and exercise their minimal power to a maximum, based on their personal opinions. SHOCKING! The department is made up of a bunch of gossips with nothing better to do than meddle and cause drama in and control their patients lives. They ruined the birth experience for everyone (patients & families). We would rather take a chance on not making it to another hospital than return here (where, based on the other reviews, youll at minimum be worse off than when you entered anyway). Avoid this hopital at all costs! The 1 star is for the 2 WONDERFUL midwives who clearly were from somewhere else. They were highly professional and did their best to bring peace and positivity to the birthing experience despite working among so many unprofessional support staff.

Daniel Lachut Its a hospital, what can really be said about it? staff is generally great, as long as you dont p!ss off the nurses. Theyre very safety conscious. My son was born here and they did a fantastic job on short notice.

Shauna Connell Today January 15, 2024, I went to CVPH @ 1:45pm for Abdominal pain in and around my belly button. They checked me in and I waited two hours before they brought me in the ER and took an ultrasound sound where I was told I needed blood work and a CT scan down. Then I waited an hour and a half to forty five minutes waiting for blood work. They ended up doing the blood work at 6:15 PM and then they told me they would be back out to get me once the results were in from my blood work, which then it was two hours later they still haven’t came to get me. I went up to the receptionist desk and asked when I was gonna get my CT scan, and she tells me I have no clue. We have to see how many patients there were before you, mind you I’ve been there since 1:45 in severe pain! I waited from 6:30-8:00 waiting and waiting but nobody bothered to give me answers or get me in for my CT scan. The services were absolutely ridiculous and disappointing! I will never go back to this hospital! Alice Hyde Medical center in malone does so much better at their services than this place any day!

C Lamendola Evil hospital. Evil staff. Dr. Rattner is the scum of the earth. A bunch of liars. Each nurse or doctor gives you contradictory information. Glorified murderers. Fire Lori Ammerman, and Jamie Conklin (lots of others need to go as well). Keep your vulnerable and disabled loved ones away from these psychopaths! They literally smile when they give you bad news! Their eyes light up. They know NOTHING about their patients medical history, or progression, yet try to bully you into killing them. Cat Mama I was a patient at this office for over 2 years. All was fine until I started experiencing heavy bleeding between periods without reason. I spoke to 2 different nurses who were incredibly rude and dismissive. The first nurse told me the bleeding "was annoying but fine" and scheduled me for an appointment 2 months away. After a month of bleeding nonstop the second nurse told me Id just have to wait for my appointment. My provider didnt do a comprehensive work-up to see what the issue could be but changed my birth control pill. Three months later, it will wasnt stopping on the new pill. Her explanation was that I was "hormonal" and changed my birth control pill an additional 3 times within one year.

Chloe Durant I rarely feel the need to post reviews, but I had the most pleasant experience today. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, ensuring some records made it over in time for my appointment. The assistant was pleasant and kind. I had Rebecca Parad as my doctor. She was one of the nicest, most gentle obgyn’s I’ve ever been to that took time and made me feel like a human (which I have found to be rare in that field) highly recommend

Meghan Guimond Worst prenatal appointment I’ve ever had. Not my first baby. I switched to a different office immediately after waiting 4 weeks to be seen, they move my appointment without talking to me an hour and 15min before. I live an hour away, I was already heading there, after checking in online they say my appt is at 1pm. No explanation. Ruined my whole day. Had to go back 2.5 hours later just to wait in the waiting room longer because they “didn’t have a doctor to see me” Dr. Jessica Veltkamp finally gets into the room and is sighing the whole time rushing me out of the appointment. My blood pressure was so high, the nurse had to come get me to re-take after Dr. Veltcamp ran out of the room and told me they will see me in 3-4 weeks. I didn’t get to ask any questions. I asked for water for about 15 min from 3 different people before the nurse finally got me some as I felt like I was going to pass out. The whole office rushed me, made me feel uncomfortable, were rude and acted like I was pest and they had more important things to do than see me for prenatal care. Never again.

Anthony Donovan More than 3 weeks ago I submitted paperwork for new patient. I had to call back several times and never was able to speak to an actual doctor. The receptionist had ASKED me what was wrong, ( what happened to doctor/patient privilege laws?). They said my paperwork was somewhere in a folder on the doctors deck and that they couldn’t locate it, until I told them the issue then they suddenly found it. Still I had to call every 4-5 days to try to get an answer. This morning after more than 3 weeks I get a call from the girl that supposed to handle it and she left a message saying they were no longer accepting new patients and that they had staff leave. I think the receptionists pick and chose who they want. Must be a “small town small mind thing”. Either way they wasted 3+ weeks of my time when there could actually be something serious going on. Good thing I had a plan B going on just in case. I get seen on the 25th. Thanks for nothing Cs.
