Not only is he an expert in his field he has an awesome bedside manner taking time with his patients to make them feel comfortable while understanding all technical aspects of their particular situation. While you may need to be patient in wait time to see him he is well worth the wait!

Mark Vinett Dr Adelson is a fantastic, caring, compassionate doctor. He is an expert in diagnosis of sinus issues. I have been seeing him for a couple of years. He really good at explaining what is happening with you sinuses and what the correct course of treatment recommended.

Steve Gibbs Dr. Adelson is a fantastic doctor. He remembers details about his patients and has dramatically improved my quality of life since I became a patient several years ago.

Anesa Brkanovic Dr Adelson is simply awesome. He is great listener, he is not pushing his agenda, he is very knowledgeable and understanding. One bone to pick is that wait to see him, in spite of having an appointment is maddening. It is not uncommon to wait in a waiting room an hour past appointment time to be put in a room and then another 10-15 minutes to see a doctor.

Tanya Viveiros Dr. Adelson is the most thorough ENT I have ever met. I had two sinus surgeries before him and was hesitant for a third- but I just went a whole year without a sinus infection. Unheard of and amazing. So glad I met him. On another note- you will wait 30-60 minutes for your appointment but when you are with him he gives you all his attention and answers every question. Well worth the wait. Bring a book!

Joyce Bouchard The staff were well trained able to get me started as soon as I arrived. Everyone was courteous and knew exactly what to do so that I was ready to be seen at my appointment time. I saw a PA, Allison, and she was on time and prepared to see me. The facility is clean and easily accessed from a generous parking lot. It was a good experience.

Barbara Howells Kelly was friendly and professional. She listened to my questions and answered them satisfactorily. She gave me options for treatment and advice for home care. I never felt rushed. She was interested in my background as a Physical Therapist and had a brief conversation about a particular specialty of mine. I left there feeling very well cared for.

Alisa Hausgaard MD is very knowledgeable, skilled and tailored my surgery (ankle replacement) to meet my needs and other medical conditions. Within 2 months of having surgery I was able to return to work (involves a lot of walking). I have had very little pain, almost 100% return of ankle function/range of motion. I highly recommend him!

Nancy Rogers There is not a Dr that I know of that has the bedside manner of Dr Haddad. He is so nice and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to all my friends. He gave me 2 cortisone shots in both rotator cuffs yesterday and already feel 100% better.

Teresa H I found Dr Haddad to be personable and professional for a first visit with him. I needed a prior authorization for physical therapy that he prescribed and Im now into 5 weeks and still have not received it and no call backs to let us know how and why it hasnt been done yet. Had a follow up yesterday and he gave me a new script and was going to call for an authorization. I hope this works out because I do like the people at the office and the way they treat their patients.

Judy Rodgers Dr Flik was recommended to me by my physical therapist. I took him an MRI film from a 3rd world country. He had me do an x-ray and quickly gave me a diagnosis that I recognized as true. This is after 15 months of cortisone shots, PT and other processes that werent helping. I appreciated his knowledge, kindness and willingness to help as quickly as possible.

Christine House I went to the urgent care to have my shoulder checked but didnt realize you need to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was so helpful and asked me to wait. When she returned she let me know that Dr. Flik would see me. After a quick exam and a few questions, I was on my way! Never did I expect that I would be able to see Dr. Flik.

Darrell Drescher Capital Cardiology provides exceptional service in a state of the art facility. My Cardiologist, Dr. Heather Stahura, has made every appointment a calming, and pleasant experience. Specifically, she is an active listener who involves me in all aspects of my treatment plans. She is very thorough, presents with a happy demeanor, and demonstrates a passion for her profession. Great facility, easy parking, courteous service, and a top of the line cardiologist, I cant ask for more.

Margo Brash Doctors that I’ve seen have been professional, knowledgeable and efficiently addressed my health needs. However, I found the pharmacy totally lacking in any aspect under their domain. I had request for preapproval of medication not admitted as promised and the appeal filed late causing denial and no follow up with me - then, when I addressed these issues was told the volume of their work prevented them from follow ups. Further they told me they don’t get notice of denial from insurance companies - this I don’t believe because I met with my primary care physician, Dr Oldendorf who addressed my issue in the same day. I cannot bring myself to deal with the pharmacy department and have discussed this with other friends who go there. With respect to Dr. Winston, I couldn’t be more pleased with his care. He addresses every concern and issue I have, calls me with test results, and has the best patient interaction - cordial, attentive, and responsive. I highly recommend him as he was recommended to me.

Just prior to my consultation I had the pleasure of meeting with Molly who gave a fantastic presentation regarding the functionality and implant procedure for the WATCHMAN (3RD generation) device. I have a much better understanding of how the WATCHMAN works, is inserted and the post operative healing process. After meeting with Molly and consulting with Dr. DeLago, I would rate my appoint as a solid 10 our of 10. I sincerely thank everyone I saw at my appointment with Capital Cardiology Associates.

I called, made an apt, a week later got them removed, today, i had gotten the stitches removed and now it’s healing time. i am so grateful for deluca and giving me a chance to appreciate myself the way i see myself now. will be coming back soon!

L A I saw Dr. Deluca on 10/16 to get a suspicious mole removed. He was very nice and the procedure went well. I was told no news is good news and they would call if the labs came back with any concern. Fast forward to 11/14, I decided to call the office to double-check the status. Come to find out the mole was positive for squamous cell carcinoma and Dr. Delucas office had this information since 10/21. The nurse who called me said " the Dr. was out of the office for a couple of weeks," as an explanation of why no one had called me. 25 days passed between when they received the pathology until I called to double-check the results. How much time would have passed had I not called? I have been in the healthcare field for 20 years, I do understand mistakes happen. I truly hope this office takes this as an eye-opening learning experience and implements protocols that will prevent this from happening in the future. I am lucky that the mole I had removed will likely not turn into anything, but what if that wasnt the case? Please do a root-cause analysis and update your back office procedures. It could save a life.

Alexa Fatum My whole Deluca Plastics experience was absolutely amazing!! I had never had anything done and so nervous for the consultation but Dr. Tauber made it so stress free. Lori was so sweet and helpful with scheduling and questions. Everyone at the office was so nice it just felt like a pleasant place. As for the actual procedure, everything went great and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I feel amazing and would totally recommend Deluca Plastics and specifically Dr.Tauber!

Sandra Glastetter I was not very happy at all. I had a face-lift which went well but than the eyelids looked almost exactly the same. When I asked about it he said I than needed a brow lift, ok why wasnt that brought up at the consultation...... I dont have a huge amount of money and this cost me about fifteen thousand for the procedure and then small things that I had after, which were a waste of money. Im hoping Jeffrey, Rockmore in Latham will do better, we shall see. Trying to fix up what wasnt done for fourteen thousand dollars. Dr. Tauber I had, it sounds like Dr. Deluca may have done better. I am quite disappointed with the way I was treated. I feel awful about the way I look and no one really spoke to me when I was there for the 5 hour surgery. They talked to each other the whole time cause it was a wide awake surgery, thats why I went. Pretty much spent all of my savings on this and regret it fully.

SAB JR This is the worst doctor’s office I have ever been a part of. Communication is beyond awful, a phone within the office is NEVER answered. I leave this review in hope that no one has to deal with what I have. Unless you are over 70- steer clear. There is not a doctor at this location worth anyone’s time.

Girl Garden (GardenGirl65) This was the first appointment with this provider. I accompanied an elderly family member for their appointment. Dr Ted was kind and spoke directly with my family member. He also listened attentively to the details I recounted and then offered follow up input for moving forward. He also retrieved information quickly to help him evaluate the circumstances of the visit. He was clear on a f/u plan, his concerns and when to see him next. Directed us to other providers for f/u. He also discussed delicate information with my family member and was kind but direct re information and provided paper work and guidance. We both liked Dr Ted very much. Very productive appointment.

mostafa ibrahim If you are a Male patiant, then this office is definitely not for you. The family practice is only a frontage for beauty and plastic surgery business behind. They turn away any male patiants because they cant get much out of it. I had a physical appointment today at 10am. Unfortunately I hit traffic I arrived exactly at 10:15. They refused to see me because I hit the 15 minutes mark. I told the front desk it is 10:15. The manger told me to leave and seek another doctor. Because my insurance covers my visit. Of course they dont want this. They want cash customers not patiants.

Amanda F I would not recommend this practice. I used to see a wonderful NP here but she has since left the practice. I have seen a couple different doctors here since then and the quality of care has gone down. My prescription doses are never correct, labs are never sent over, prior auths are never sent. When I talked to the lab saying my doctor sent over a lab slip they said this happens all the time with this office. Try to pick up my medications from the pharmacy.. correct dose script and prior auths.. never sent. I end up on the phone constantly trying to track down these items with labs, pharmacies, insurance and the doctor. It is very difficult to reach anyone at this office and I am constantly dealing with issues like this.

Sharon Pushman Honestly, Dr Suslak is amazing! He did surgery on my left shoulder a couple years ago for frozen shoulder. It was life changing. I was hesitant but instead of pushing me, he explained the options and I chose the surgery and I am so glad I did. Now I am having a problem with my right shoulder and I knew just where to go! I totally trust he will help me! More tests to come to determine the problem and then Dr Suslak will give me options for treatment. The office is well run too. Very efficient.

Kimberly Mangan I feel that Ortho should be providing necessary pain relief while waiting on testing and or surgeries. Ortho used to be the place where people would go to start pain relief for a bone or joint issue and if surgery was necessary that was the next step, I got no pain relief from Ortho and I still have not gotten a call to schedule an MRI after being in pain for 6 months.

April Burke Dr. Suslak is amazing. He listened to my concerns and gave me treatment options. I know my body very well & knew something was wrong and needed to be fixed. I opted for surgical repair as my hip labral tear & hip impingement were giving me immense pain, significant mobility issues & a very poor quality of life. I had surgery on Tuesday & I am recovering well. He did an excellent job fixing my hip issues. He is a wonderful surgeon. His team is amazing as well. I highly recommend Dr. Suslak. I’m a stand up comedian & cannot wait to be able to stand onstage again.

I am very grateful for Dr. Suslak and his assistant team, the surgery was much needed however, the pain is very excruciating and the pain medication doesnt seem to help at all I guess thats part of the process but overall I am very satisfied with the performance and effort, thank you everyone.

Jamie Bivens My daughter was born with a tethered spinal cord and Dr. Adamo did her surgery may 2021. He did an amazing job and shes doing healijg and doing great now. Were still being followed by the spina bifida clinic which is a great resource to have andthe nurse was great in the office each time weve gone. Highly reccomend. And if you cant see Dr. Adamo then id try to aee his PA Lisa newman shes great too.

Sierra Hayes My daughter was sent to doctor Adamo due to her MRI results from the MRI her neurologist had done, she was diagnosed with spina bifidia occulta Doctor Adamo was an hour late for our appointment came in and didn’t look at my daughter or speak to my daughter he wasn’t even in there for 5 minutes! He said we will get an X ray but no need to fallow up! I didn’t feel comfortable with his medical recommendation so I got a second opinion for my daughter in Vermont! (Doctor Adamo never even fallowed through with the X ray!) her new neurosurgeon did and find she also has another condition with her spine she is also seeing urology and has concerning results from a recent test and now has to go for more! My daughter is 4 and deserves doctors who care! I am so greatful we found a team of doctors that so but because of Doctor Adamos lack of caring my daughter now has side affects and complications she may not be having if the doctors at Albany looked at the whole picture and listened to a moms concern and cries for help! I pray nobody else has to go through anything like this!!

Jen Dr Adamo saved my life I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 3 and I’m 34 now as I got older my seizures were only getting worse it was hard to breathe my seizures were controlling my life I couldn’t drive I wanted to die but in 2016 I had a brain surgery This dr saved my life Since that brain surgery I have not had one seizure and have been off medication For 3 yrs and have been driving the past year Thanks to him I can live my life and not be scared to wake up every morning thinking I’m going to have a Seizure So if anyone has epilepsy or something wrong with the brain where they need brain surgery Dr. Adamo is definitely the doctor to go to he’s really the best And changed my life for the better

Dawn mello Today was my first visit to Dr. David. I was expecting the same treatment Ive received at every other doctors. But when I came into the office, the receptionist was really friendly. That was a good beginning. Then when the nurse was walking me to the room, I passed by Dr. David and he said Hi Dawn. That was different and I was taken aback, but in such a good way. No Doctor has ever been personable or friendly with me before. I had a good feeling afterwards. The nurse was so friendly, just a great experience. So Dr. David came in, shook my hand and asked me so many questions, I wasnt used to that either. Hes friendly, genuinely cares and goes out of his way to explain everything to where you can understand confusing situations. Im so happy I found Dr. David, hes a diamond in the rough. Im happy the last Doctor I was going to, had to drop me because her sister, who was my Doctor, was on medical leave. Every Doctor I have ever seen, has always made me feel like I was an annoyance and I was bothering them or refused to answer questions. I literally stopped taking care of myself because I was tired of being treated horrible. Im so happy I came across these people and Dr. David. I have never felt so much hope like I did today after meeting him. Its nice to meet a Doctor who genuinely wants to help and wants to know everything that is ailing me. Im sorry for going on here, but Im so happy and I feel blessed. Every thing happens for a reason. Im almost tempted to call the last Doctor and thank her. If you truly want a Doctor whos willing to help you, I suggest you run, not walk, to see Dr. David.

Cora Ordway So I have been going to Dr David for about 7 years. He is absolutely amazing !! He was even on the cover of TIME magazine!! He is literally one of the smartest Drs around. One time I woke up and couldnt move my wrist and fingers. I was afraid I had a stroke. I went to ER were they said the cat scan wasnt showing a stroke however they didnt know what the cause was. I went to Dr David the next day and he knew right away what it was and called his personal friend to get me in right away !! He treats me like Im family, he always takes his time and actually listens. So if your looking for an amazing , caring , smart Dr give a try !! You wont be disappointed!!

Bob Munro I had a mole-like growth on my arm and a filled growth on my back. I’m awaiting the biopsy results for my arm but both growths were taken care of by Leena Brown and her MA Courtney and they made the experience both pain and worry free. Jon Montgomery I have been a patient at this office for a few years, even since it was Albany Dermatology. My PA changed a few times, because I guess they had a lot of turnover. Since the change, I havent had much confidence in the staff. Wait times are long. I keep getting new medical staff, who seem very young and but very knowledgeable. Im getting older, and getting more moles and skin tags etc in my body, but the PA I had last told me that " normally your body should stop getting new freckles and moles after you reach adulthood". My wife told me to find a new dermatologist. Good advice. They really screwed up my billing too. I got multiple invoices for the same service dates paid multiply times, then hit a refund check only to get more old invoices. What the fk? I recently got a another "new" invoice from a visit date from almost 2 years ago. The bill said its 0-30 days old, but the visit date was from August 2022. I dont keep all my paperwork and old checks from 2 years ago. I know I already deposited the refund check over a year ago, but now have to send payment a third time. What B.S. Find a better dermatology office

Joanne Cunningham I had a procedure to remove a suspicious mole recently. It became infected and I was traveling for work and had to go to urgent care in a different city to be seen. After that visit, I spoke to the on call physician, Dr. Steve Altmayer. He looked at my infected incision via cell photo and confirmed that I received the right antibiotic. That was such a relief to me. When I was picking up the Rx (in a different city), there was a problem. I texted him and he called the pharmacy to straighten out. Above and beyond service and patient care doesn’t even begin to describe Dr. Altmayer. Incredible and so so appreciated. He is the best. When you are worried about your health, he is the physician you want treating you.

Sharon Pushman I took my 17 year old for a consult to have her compacted wisdom teeth removed. She is on the autism spectrum and although very high functioning, she gets anxious. The office was very pleasant from the moment we walked in. Reception was helpful at check in and put her and me both at ease. The assistant explained everything to us nicely and thoroughly. angelina hartley Had the best experience for wisdom teeth removal here! I had called a week prior after my primary dentist told me I needed all 4 out!! They were super nice and got me right in. Due to me having to travel so far they also did my consult and removal same day. The staff was all super nice and helpful. Made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain once I woke up. Would recommend them to anyone and would go there myself a million times again!

Beth Edelman Dr. Baylor is a fine doctor; however, due to absurd business hours and long lunches, leaving a message is impossible, and one can only either cancel an appointment or take an emergency call, and will not allow me to confirm my existing appointment. The office has called repeatedly to confirm, and the service they use is so limited that a confirmation is not possible, and there is no web site. I asked the young lady to call it an emergency and confirm an appointment, so that she could fulfill her job description, but that was beyond her pay grade, apparently. Poor patient service.

Jane Dr. Baler and his office practice the kind of dermatology and medicine that is hard to find these days. Hes a solo practitioner and doesnt use a PA--you will see a physician when you come to his office (Dr. Baler himself). He has even recorded his offices voicemail greeting. His office is efficient; you can tell hes an excellent employer because he keeps the same staff, year after year. You never wait more than five minutes. They dont make billing mistakes. The staff has always treated me with courtesy and have taken the time to listen to me when I call with a problem. If I have needed something--a refill, or to see the doctor for an urgent problem such as widespread poison ivy (Im highly allergic), I have always been accommodated. That said, I am an existing patient of many years. Of course it is a long wait to become a new patient---he has a full roster of existing, satisfied patients. My husband had to wait some months to see him as a new patient, but he had no emergency or discomfort, and Im sure they would have tried to work him in or refer him elsewhere if he had. Dr. Baler is also an excellent, highly experienced and knowledgeable dermatologist. He has always accurately diagnosed and treated the various skin problems Ive had over the years, and some of them have been urgent--in one case, potentially postponing major surgery (and he saw me ASAP in that instance, treated me, and I was able to have the surgery as planned). In another case, two weeks before my wedding, I developed a mysterious rash all over my body. Again he saw me immediately, knew exactly what I had and how to treat me, and Im happy to say that I had clear skin at my wedding. Or the time I had a rash on my arms and upper chest--he took one look at me and said "this is poison ivy. Do you have a big dog?" Indeed we did, and hed been wandering in a section of our wooded yard with poison ivy. The pattern of the rash showed Id been hugging him. Mystery solved, prescription dispensed. In another case, I had a stubborn plantars wart, and he told me immediately that they can be difficult to cure, but if his treatment didnt work, another local dermatologist had an experimental treatment that he would refer me for. He was delighted when that doctor was finally able to help me. I trust him. Finally, he does no cosmetic procedures--as so many dermatologists do, using various subordinate staff to perform them, factory-style, to make a lot of money: e.g. laser hair removal, skin peels, etc. In those cases you may never see a doctor! This is not Dr. Balers ethic. He is a physician interested in practicing medicine in his field. If you are interested in cosmetic dermatology, however, he will refer you to the person he most trusts. I will be very sad when and if Dr. Baler ever retires!

ann marie laux Just called to set up an appointment for my son. My insurance company told me this was the only office within 50 miles of my home that accepts pediatrics as well as his insurance. When I called and explained this to the woman who answered the phone, I received a very rude reply about every dermatologist accepting pediatrics, "thats what they are trained to do!" I didnt spend the past two days calling offices only to be told that they do not accept pediatric patients to be spoke to in such a condescending manner. I will expand my search up to 100 miles instead of dealing with this office.

George Blatsos I have been going to This Very VA FOR WELL OVER 30 NOW. Granted it was like Jungle General 30 Years Ago. But now with a Major up-grade and much better Doctors. Ivan colon The Orthopedics Unit is terrible. They ask you to get blood and ekg at a local clinic which takes alot of time. Doesnt matter if youre in agony. Appointments are a month or two out for everything. You need an MRI, that will be 4 months of waiting. Rediculous!

He addressed all my concerns, and was gentle with the check up -- which, if youve ever gotten something put all the way up your nose into your throat -- not fun at all. He made the process as easy and stress-free as possible.

Stacy Lewis I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged after calling recently to make an appointment for my husband. We were able to schedule an appointment for less than a week away and the man I spoke to was very helpful on the phone. He listened well even though the call went quickly everything was correctly scheduled. I’m excited to get some solutions figured out for my husband’s deviated septum. The plan is to schedule a septoplasty surgery to solve chronic sinus infections and post nasal drip issues. Update: We got a solution without surgery! My husband is doing great on the prescription that he was given and it has helped tremendously. We thought we already tried medicines and this wouldn’t be different or help, but it has!

Natalie Martin Worst doctor I’ve ever had the pain of enduring. Told my child (7 years old) he needed to “grow up” because his ego did not want to acknowledge he provided the wrong ear medications. What an absolute waste of time. If you love yourself or people in your life, stay away from Michael Devito and his horrifying practice. Father is an uneducated douchebag as well. Don’t waste your time, energy or finances.

Andrea Piela The worst Dr I have ever encountered! He swore several times during the visit, terrible abrupt bedside manner, dismissive, and did NOT physically evaluate me. Hours later he noted down in my chart descriptive details of an exam that included what the inside of my ears, mouth and nose looked like. He never once examined me!! This is fraud ! I was appropriate, calm and polite as noted on his own notes from the visit. I have submitted an official complaint with Albany Med and will also notify my insurance company.There was also an unrelated diagnosis added to my chart for something I was never diagnosed with, complained about symptoms of, or have ever even heard of.

Letocom Dr. Devito is an exceptional doctor and surgeon. He was highly recommended by a good friend. If you like being told the straight story and no fluff - like me - he is for you! Reading all of this stuff with terrible bedside manner is all nonsense to me. I wish more doctors were up front and honest! I also found his staff to be courteous and professional.

Laura Passantino My husband Vincent had shoulder surgery on January 2nd with Dr. Tenuta. It went very well. He received outstanding care from this doctor plus all staff involved. They checked and double checked every step. From anesthesiologist to release all were professional and very caring. Passing the desk on the way out I thanked everyone at the nurses station for taking such good care of him! “We love our veterans!” was the reply. Fisher house was amazing as well! We are also grateful for every department at Stratton for his continuous care.

Theodore Bielawa My Uncle Frank J Bielawa was admitted to the /Albany /VA the first week of December recovering from Pneumonia and Covid-19. He unfortunately suffered a massive stroke just days into his recovery and is now receiving End of Life care. Frank is a 99 year old WW2 Veteran and the care hes receiving from the VA Staff on 8th Floor/ B Corridor has been Outstanding. The attending staff across all 3 shifts has attended to my uncle keeping him comfortable and clean in such a respectful and professional manner, its been overwhelming from my past experiences visiting other private facilities. Last Monday, December 17, 2024, he had an intervention from Albany Med and then he was transferred back to Albany Veterans Hospital, when I go back to the Veterans Hospital to the first floor at information area is employed with an unprofessional attitude and with a not very friendly attitude and I was trying to explain to her that I wanted to know what room my husband was in, that he had received an intern surgery ect ect and then this lady asks me in Spanish, do you speak Spanish? and I said yes and she told me because your English is horrible, I let her finish and she was trying to speak Spanish and her Spanish was just as bad or worse, (my mother tongue is Spanish, but I defend myself in English, Its not perfect but I dare to talk about it) my point is that a "professional" person should not speak like that to a person or patient who visits a hospital, I already know her last name and I told her that I am going to report her. for not being a professional and trying to belittle or want to humiliate me because of my English and to top it all off I am Hispanic, her last name is Santana, I had never had the bad taste of meeting an employee as despicable as her

Ward Capeci I am surprised to see negative reviews about Albany Stratton VA. I have used their services for years. I see my GP regularly, have been referred to and seen by Specialty Clinicians and have had 3 operations performed here. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. I have always been treated with the utmost of respect and received the best care possible by a professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have not once had an unpleasant experience. From the moment I walk in the door I am greeted by smiling faces. The folks in the blood labs, pharmacy, optometry and cafeteria work every bit as hard to make me feel valued as the various doctors and nurses I see. The facilities are spotless. I was once a veteran with unresolved psychiatric and substance abuse issues and this hospital saved my life by getting me the help I needed and for that I will always be grateful.
