Tashima I am a 51 yr old woman with quite a few physical and mental health issues.i also have very bad anxiety and trust issues. This was my very first time going to an URGENT Care clinic. I give a 5 star rating across the board, Beginning with upon entering the office, there was patience, compassion, understanding, helpful with enrollment, & efficiency. MY time there couldnt have been an hour at best. 15 minutes upon intake, 15 minutes waiting to be seen &10 -15 minutes with the doctor. I will recommend to my friends and family to be seen here. I myself will come back if needed. Thank you NAO.

donatella donkor The male provider seemed very uninterested and barely examined my sprained foot. This location didn’t have an xray machine which meant i needed to go to a different location but the location i was sent to was no longer there. Making my day and travel even longer. Exam room was dirty hair on the floor. Overall the nurse and the receptionist were nice hope they can be placed in a better facility.

Tiffany Johnson I wish I was able to leave a 0-star review for this location. Initially, we were impressed where the quality of service and so happy to have found this clinic. Then, after several visits, my partner received horrible treatment and was mishandled throughout the process. He went in for his 3rd visit last Saturday and had blood taken. He was told he would receive a call with the results in a couple of days. After three days, he called to check for the results and was told that he would receive a call when they were ready. He never received a call. He then went in the clinic Friday to check the results and saw they had come in on Tuesday (the day before he called). After ALREADY PAYING to receive a USCIS medical exam, he was given a referral to travel to another clinic over two hours away for an appointment more than one week away. He was refused a refund and told “this is how the process works.” From the beginning, they should have said “we don’t have a civil surgeon on site, we will have to refer you to a location that is 2 hours away. Is that okay with you?” Instead, they withheld this information. This is unacceptable and people who are migrants and lack access to quality care should not be exploited simply because they have fewer options. The staff here should be ashamed. We are planning to escalate this complaint further. UPDATE: After all described above, I called the number several times and never got in contact with anyone. Then, my partner received a message saying that they have to re-do his TB test, which will take a week. Mind you, the appointment that is two hours away is scheduled first thing in the morning. We responded to the message, which said “reply to this message if you have any questions or need further assistance.” No one replied. He took this test over two weeks ago. This is beyond careless and unprofessional. And they have refused to issue a refund. We both feel so helpless and disregarded. This is beyond unacceptable.

isiah torres The wait times with only 3 patients in was astronomical. Had an appointment at 11am didnt get seen by a doctor til 1 pm. Two hours. Nurse practitioner was more worried her printer wasnt working right then giving patients privacy when a nurse was doing triage and vitals. Maybe it was just that one day but that one day wasnt good. Will update if the experience is better next time.

M W I don’t want to mention any specific nurses’ names but my first visit was okay. Then the nurse I had left the practice and I was not even notified. The second nurse I saw was pretty much fat shaming me because I am overweight. Then my latest visit .. the nurse was ok but she got mad because I called her nurse. I understand she is an FNP but as a patient I figured calling her nurse followed by her last name was sufficient. So based on my two previous encounters, I will not be going back to this location again. These nurses need to be sensitive to the patients’ needs and learn to communicate properly. I also feel as if they don’t really listen to my issues much when it comes to my health.

nos worthy Unorganized, unprofessional and slow, three words to describe this pediatric clinic. If you have a infant/newborn do not sign up to have this be your clinic. I recently moved states and decided on this clinic had an appointment for Monday they changed it and I was not notified so I wasted my day coming there. Went there on Tuesday after providing information the pervious days on myself and my son, on day of appointment they are going to let me know they can’t see me cause the don’t have immunization records. Bare in mind this is after coming previous day and speaking on the phone and being told they can access his records thru my chart. Wasting another day of my time, they told they should receive the by that afternoon and I should be able to be seen the following day. Days went by no call until I had to call them myself and still did not get a proper response. On Friday I received a call from them saying they received the records and I can come in the following week on Thursday. Arrived on Thursday they are going to ask me if I have his records. My response was the clinic call and said they received it and the pediatrician is going to ask me who told me that? After searching she found it. This unacceptable I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this is just pure unprofessionalism. DO NOT RECOMMEND. This poor service just made me realize how immaculate my clinic in Texas was.

Mind Yours My first visit to this clinic was not pleasant. The wait time was extreme and much longer than I expected however, the director of the clinic did go above and beyond to ensure me this would not happen again. My second visit was much more pleasant, the nurse was very attentive as well as knowledgeable. Wait times were short and I was in and out of the clinic at a normal doctors visit pace. Overall the facility is extremely clean, the director is attentive and cares about his patients experience, and the nursing staff especially Alana are super friendly.

Lisa Caines Im currently at this facility seeing Dr Raggio, who I hope will be my families dentist for a long time. Dr Raggio has giving me back my faith in my what a dentist show be like . He treats my family and I as a human beings not as a number, he communicates what hes doing and what needs to be done. He respects his patients and makes you feel comfortable to be at the dentist which we all know is not a place we wanna be, going through the nychhc system you tend to get ignore and get treated as a number. This place was recommended to me by my cousin.we have to travel outside our neighborhood ,but it is worth it.The facility is clean the people are friendly and very very professional.

Jake Flanders The new management here is TERRIBLE. That lady named Claudia is very ghetto, unprofessional and not helpful. Where are they finding these people? I complained about an interaction with Samantha and they both started giggling and laughing at me instead of helping me. Im not coming back until they are gone. I will be going to Bronx Care, Montefiore or St Barnabas and you should do the same!

D. Monique Worthley My Mother has had two successful (2) catheter replacements at this facility. We found the entire Staff and Medical Professionals to be attentive and sensitive to patient concerns and needs. Likewise, the facility was visibly clean, and the care given to patients post procedure, exceptional. Additionally, I observed them interacting with their patients, and they knew each. It was quite remarkable and refreshing to witness.

Fatima Khan A few days ago I took my father in law to American Access for the first time, the staff was extremely friendly especially Evette (Front desk staff) , she made the visit very seamless. But the thing that topped the whole experience was the nurses and doctors, they were attentive, caring and patient. The post operative care also put me at ease, his vitals were checked multiple times to ensure that there were no issues, after a couple of mins he was offered a meal. He felt safe, comfortable and seen. And I feel content knowing he’s in good hands.

ChicOk lll Perez I have been going to this Bronx VA location since 1988, when it was my very 1st visit to the ER. The Drs and nurses gave me exceptional treatment, both in the ER and as inpatient. I didnt start using this facility again until about 2019. And let me tell you that for me nothing has changed. I still receive excellent care both as inpatient and outpatient. Its has far better quality than Montefiore!!!!

J Oli It’s tough when a healthcare provider at the surgery section 2G, especially one with so much experience, doesnt take the time to fully understand your medical history before making decisions about your care. Patient care should be about collaboration and understanding, not just prescribing medication based on a quick assessment. Going to avoid returning to this location. Its unfortunate that many veterans feel that the system isn’t meeting their needs or prioritizing their well-being the way it should. The doctors in the surgery section with 40 years experience contribute to the veteran’s suicide rate.
1 /5
The Detailing Arts It’s incredibly frustrating how the staff at this VA blatantly disregards patients time. They say one thing and do another, with no consideration for the fact that veterans have lives and responsibilities beyond sitting in their waiting rooms. The inefficiency is appalling—everything drags on, and its clear the staff have zero concern for the needs of their patients. This is aimed squarely at the support staff, not the doctors. The doctors are great, but good luck getting to see them. The receptionists in every department Ive been to tarnish the VA’s reputation. If youre a veteran just transitioning out of service, my advice is simple: do not come to this VA. Head to Montross or Castle Point instead, because hours—if not days—of your life will be wasted here just sitting in the waiting area.

Julius Key The staff, doctors and nurses at the Montefiore Edison and Hutchinson facilities were very helpful and extremely professional. I was very nervous and agitated having been injured and staying overnight in a hospital for the first time. Yet despite my fears and extreme disapointment, the staff was very patient, caring while carefully explaining the extent of my injury and the surgery procedure that was necessary. My operating surgeon, Dr. Kim, was also very professional and carefully detailed each step in a clear, concise and thorough manner. I truly thank Dr. Kim and everyone at both facilities for their help and assistance during a very difficult period in my life.

Alex Morales I usually have great things to say about my visits to Montefiore. I am in hutch ll. My appointment was for 10:45. I am here for pre admission testing for surgery. I walk in and I am told to sign in at the desk at the end. I do that. I come back to the person and she asks me if I have signed in I tell her yes. Then I tell her that my appointment is in 5 minutes she says there are people in front of me and to sit down and they will call me shortly. Do appointments even mean anything in this section. I wait patiently and a little after 20 min I approach her again. I asked her if appointments mean anything here and she tells me the same thing and I tell her I’m just trying to ask questions and I felt that they were being ignored. She tells me again there are people in front of me and as soon as she’s done registering me she would call me and that there were other people in front of me and the sooner I let her do her job the faster I will be called. I was finally called around 11:28 only to discover I had no paperwork for blood work. I now have to wait till that goes through. I feel the sign in should be don’t right there when you see the ladies. It should be right next to them and they should try and register you when your right in front of them. At the very least there should be some sort of communication for those that have questions. They should not be ignored. Especially if it’s someone’s first time. Communication is important and spitting out the same thing to everyone who stops by your desk is not helpful. The person who finally attended to me was polite and answered all my questions. Hopefully I will get out of here soon. It is now 11:41. Just about an hour after I got here. All this wait just to draw blood and the order is not even in yet.

Catherine Partheniades I came into CitiMD with severe flu-like symptoms. I had a fever but took Tylenol before leaving, along with Sudafed to help me breathe a little. My biggest struggle was a persistent, painful cough that wasn’t improving. I saw the PA, who was pleasant, listened to my symptoms, and ran some tests. He confirmed it was the flu, and then the doctor came in. Instead of offering real treatment options, he just told me to rest and drink fluids—which I had already been doing for days. That’s exactly why I came in: because home remedies weren’t enough, and I needed real medical help. I tried to explain how bad my throat hurt, the pain in my chest, and how I was coughing up green phlegm, but the doctor didn’t seem interested. He barely acknowledged my concerns and just repeated the same generic advice: “warm fluids.” Again, I had already been doing that. Clearly, he didn’t want to listen. When I asked how I was supposed to rest when I couldn’t sleep due to nonstop coughing, he prescribed a basic cough suppressant (just one level above OTC) and an inhaler. But my cough is productive, not asthma-related, so the inhaler made it worse. I still can’t breathe deeply without triggering intense coughing, and despite the medication, I’m still coughing up green phlegm. Yes, I know I have the flu, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have something else going on too. The doctor dismissed my concerns instead of truly evaluating my symptoms. Telling me I’d “be fine by tomorrow” was not only unrealistic but also dismissive of what I was experiencing. I probably won’t return to this location, and if I have to, I definitely won’t see this doctor again. I want to work with medical professionals who actually listen to their patients rather than brushing them off. The front desk was very pleasant and PATIENT with me as I struggled in between coughing attacks so i was appreciative of that. But the quality of medical care wasn’t up to my standards.

I ask him to put his mask on. He says "not today". I go to Security and tell them. Security shakes his head and does nothing. His feet dont move. Is this the procedure in a medical building now? Is this how Montifiore protects us? Deeply disappointed and disgusted.

Amy Auerbach My 96 year old mom was at Calvary from May 14th until she died on August 19th. She started off on the 3rd floor, to the right of the elevator, and I was devastated that I chose to send her there. Luckily, she was transferred to the 6th floor, to the left, and I was able to sleep peacefully. One day in I felt at peace. Ann Marie and her staff were the best. Cal, my very favorite nurse, made me feel like my mom, and I, were cared for. They treated us all like people, who were grieving. My friends at the front desk asked me every day what treats I was bringing my mom…and always wished me a good visit. They checked on us both daily and reached out to me after she passed away. They made a horrible time in my life feel safe and seen

Pamela Sarra As others her have stated. I would give zero if I could. The home hospice care for my mother at 98 contracted aspiration pneumonia and would not recover according to her long time house call physician. Calvary was recommended to me by a sister of a clergy I knew that was also an attorney. I think she was more familiar with the inpatient care so I so not blame her. Initial nurse was great, then she was transferred somewhere else. Then the visits were to be 2 times a week, but the assigned nurse rarely showed up, due to too many excuses to mention. A substitute would be sent, so there was zero continuity of status, of care. Oxygen was supplied, but the other meds in the " box" was vague. The first 4 weeks were minimal care, at best. Her final week, which we never knew was her final week or that she was coming to the end was not predicted. I know end of life is not san exact science. However, on the last day of her life, 7 weeks in, I was called by the nurse that was the one she saw the most, that she would be dying in a few hrs, that she was in a coma. I said I would be right over and ill see you shortly. She told me she had to leave, leave when she was dying, on the day we needed a nurse there to make her comfortable and the transition Peaceful. No, she had other people to see. She did not show my mothers aide the last hours meds, and left. What was truly astonishing was, all the days my mothers assigned nurse did not come, I was told because another patient was dying and she had to stay with them.. When I got there, within an hour of the call, my moms entire body was jerking uncontrollably. She was unconscious, gasping for air, it was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life and I am in healthcare. IF A GOT A VET SHE WOULD HAVE GONE EASIER, LIKE MY MANY DOGS. This home service is the worst. I will never forgive myself or forget that day, which also was my birthday, so Ill remember it with extra heartbreak forever. This is a business, nothing more.. They have too many clients, not enough good nurses and leave families to administer their job at the most critical time. DO NOT USE THIS HOSPICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONE HAVING A PEACEFUL PAIN FREE DIGNIFIED TRANSITION. Ill never forgive myself.

sharon stanton Most people have had a great experience with Calvary. That’s not my story. My mom had Alzheimers, and Lenox Hill hospital selected Calvary for at home hospice care, without even informing me on tge choices of hospice care. They selected Calvary! I was provided with the most insensitive, and rude nurses ever!…..their long history of experience, yet never informed me or my family that my mother was dying, didn’t visit her at home as required, didn’t provide the oxygen or medication required when needed as she transitioned. It was simply awful! All I got was a long email apology. You don’t get a do over with this… I still grieve and I will never forget the day and the way my mother passed, while working with Calvary. I would never recommend Calvary, home hospice care.

Matanzo Morgan (Beaumont 187) Worst staff ever the doctors never do nothing take you weeks to get a refill. All I do is there is chitchat and have fun and be on the phone and I’ll do nothing for the patience you go there for an appointment at 11. You don’t come out of there up till five or 6 o’clock in the afternoon. Worst doctors worst staff worse everything when 4 prescriptions on a Thursday today is Tuesday of the following week and I still haven’t got my refills yet my diabetes haven’t went away, so why I don’t have no refills.

Ali Algaheim This Health center is all a parent would ever want in their neighborhood, the staff there treat you like family, they would make you feel special in a way! The pediatricians there are also as good, they play with children, make noises with infant, i don’t even like Jacobi but The staff here are the reason why I have decided to bring my children here! Good luck and keep up the good work.

Erika Gordillo I came with my dad for his appointment and they never called him. They forget sometimes about their clients. My appointment was @10 and I left the clinic around 2:00pm. This is disrespectful and annoying. Other times they are on point but sometimes they slack.

Kevin If this office was able to be rated a zero I would rate it a zero only 2- 3 staff members actually have a good attitude about there job the rest are miserable the nurses have the most disgusting attitude securities got a disgusting attitude the desk personnel has the most disgusting attitude like they all dont want to be there they need to quit and hire a whole new staff they look like they hate working the office stinks theyre so rude and racist even the pharmacy is trash with people with attitude issues if I had my choice to not let the nurse touch me it would be that I would not want to be touched by these nurses its sad the only people in the entire office only worth speaking to are a handful of therapists and psychiatrist they seem to be nice and scared of the rest of the staff up front its a shame that soon maybe some of those nice employees are going to have to leave until another office due to the huge disgust that from the nurses office to the front door is just horrible

John Spence This is the only clinic worth staying at. Last visit,I got fed,for free and the food was damn sure was out of this world. As of this writing, I got a visit tomorrow morning. I thought of changing clinic due to staff shortage, but doing some research,to hell with leaving,it worth staying. If they were all this good, health care in the u.s would be a lot better.

Priscilla Avila I would not recommend this location. I got a call the day before my dentist appointment to confirm my 8:00am appointment. I specifically told them I had to leave by 9:00am to head out to work. Dentist walked in at 8:41am. They literally had me waiting after they told me I was first to be seen and I should be out by 9am. Then they rescheduled my appointment more then a month out! This was not fair and wasn’t my fault. This wasn’t the first issue I’ve had with them. This place is very unprofessional and ghetto. I’ve should of known better. But I definitely will not be coming back.

Gene Austin The doctors are skilled and capable and they even take walk-ins. However communication between visits is very challenging and frustrating. They have numerous locations but only one centralized phone line. Further, the call center reps cant even call a provider directly. On addition their mobile app is very poor with no means to send a message to a provider or to view lab results. Overall the customer service and communication challenges detra#ct from the quality care that is provided.

Sheryll Castillo Essens appointment booking department has cancelled my appointments the DAY OF two weeks in a row, resulting in missed wages from work for NO REASON, and my health is being put at risk every week that passes where they continuously don’t book appointments correctly or not at all. You’re better off finding somewhere where they take their appointments & clients health seriously.

Kathy Correa This facility is not handicap accessible. The front desk does not come out to help patients enter the facility. There is not door bell to notify the receptionist that there is a patient attempting to enter in order to provide assistance. The receptionist, I believe she is Hispanic, has poor customer service. She has no professionalism nor customer friendly as she does not even attempt to make eye contact with patients. Patients have to get her attention to get service. She should not be hidden behind the computer to where she can not see a patient enter the facility. I recommend her attend a customer service training to better assist her with customer friendly environment.

M A My brother in-law waited for a yogurt for two days, I had to call Food and Nutrition and speak with a manager thanks you Tatiana for helping me she assured me would go and see him. No thanks to Barbara , She stated cannot take my order being that I was not him. This is not how you treat patients...

Thania Ramirez It is incredible that a hospital to treat cancer does not have the necessary equipment for the comfort of its patients. The chairs are supposed to be reclining and they are not suitable for sitting only. The patients are there for at least 4 to 5 hours because they cannot reclining the chair that happens with these hospitals with this one in particular is very annoying

marcela gomez Their treatment for patients is 4 stars both in the Emergency Room and in hospital stay ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ But they are extremely far away that you need to take the B12 bus to and from the last subway train stop on the 6 train and make sure you’re at the correct bus stop leaving this hospital because there are 3 bus stops that only certain B12 buses stop at and they will not stop to pick you up regardless if it’s 2am if they don’t make stops there EVEN THOUGH NONE OF THESE STOPS EXPLAINS THIS; and the wait is long and scary late at night so for this I give them zero stars. My last point is at this hospital for some insane reason a psychiatrist has more authority over a Medical Doctor who only works morning shifts Monday through Friday who clears your loved one to be released but then comes a lower level doctor in the evening who rejects the patient’s release due to a psychiatrist wanting to put your loved one on yet more medication WHICH IS THE REASON FOR THEIR ADMISSION TO BEGIN WITH which is medications are cause of your loved one’s fainting spell, constant stomach pain, headaches, and anxiety that prevents them to drink fluids or eat food. *****UPDATE****** after an entire day of bugging the nurse about finding out when would a doctor or psychiatrist come and talk to us for clarification they finally sent someone to explain that they were keeping my loved one over night again just to see how he’s doing on just one medication that had nothing to do with why he was admitted allegedly but it is wonderful news and my final review is Jacobi hospital staff/ nurses, ER nurses/Doctors are ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and their main doctor is clear and knowledgeable but who only works day shift is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the tedious wait in communication is 1 ⭐️. Regardless of the long wait I recommend this hospital over others including Essence Lincoln Mount Sinai & NYU.

Kaysha Rodriguez Went to the ER, and the Doctors and the Nurses treated me with patiences, attentiveness, and kindness. However, the entire process at the ER is long. I was there for about 5 hours. If they could speed the process up it would be 5-STARS.

simon Worst hospital ever stay away please. Don’t wast your time here they only let the patient suffer longer. My father show up for the burn surgery appointment waited 7 hours and was told no doctor that day. Can’t drink water no food for 7hours and got sent home. Waited another 2 weeks to set the appointment and was told someone will send a text regarding the appointment time, guess what still nothing. Called multiple times and only thing they do is transfer you and disconnected during transfer. The hospital phone line is a joke. You can’t reach any department or speak to anyone with helpful information, they only transfer you over and over and disconnected with a wrong transfer. The phone reply in the review comment not working. This hospital is a joke

Diara Adames Worst hospital ever. My mom gave birth 4 years ago and my sister in law 2 years ago and everything was great. Today I came in with my sister in law because she was about to give birth. Went to park the car and they didn’t let me go to her room after 1h!!. Mind you, she barely knows any english and only had me in the moment. Receptionist was really rude and doctors last forever. Room has no AC and the blankets that they give her had holes in it. Don’t come here unless it’s an emergency!! Update: My sister in law complains about how there’s not attention to her. Her water broke and they made her wait. And LOTS OF LACK OF EMPATHY.

njoud alsharif The worst experience ever, My baby was two days old, and I wanted to check on her temperature because we had two different temperature on two different thermometers , and in the hospital they checked on her and her temperature was normal but the doctor who was there was so rude while speaking with us, she was speaking like she is superior over others. She didn’t let us go to the children hospital and she threat us without any reason that she will call CPS if we refuse to treat our child. I was two days postpartum and they put us on a cold room after they tried to put the bed next to addicted people and people who are vomiting, the ER was a total mess and not clean at all!!! They tried to take blood sample from my daughter and they poked the needle in one place and came out from another!! They tried a lot and they took a blood sample after me and my daughter were tired of crying. They tried to put the catheter to her and the only thing they did was torturing her and ended up by failing to take a Urin sample. We stayed in a cold room shivering on a bed that the mattress kept falling from it and it was so hard to breastfeed while sitting on it. We were transferred to the children hospital after 9 hours of waiting for the EMT. My daughter was totally fine and nothing is wrong with her so they discharged us after 36 hours of that blood sample. We thought we finally going to get rid off that situation but they called us back to the children hospital ER because there was a bacteria growing in the blood Culture sample, my daughter had to put an IV and cry more and more from the pain just so they can take another blood culture sample from her..and guess what the bacteria was not from my daughter blood and it was from a bad collection that they did in Jack D. Weiler ER.. we had to experience all of that and my daughter had to take antibiotics and they had to take a spinal fluid culture from her without having any symptoms just because we went to double check on her temperature!! even if they did the right thing to protect my daughter if she had anything but the attitude and the way they treated us in the ER was awful and disgusting thankfully till now I didn’t have postpartum depression from this experience.

Malysia Mercier I had a wonderful experience my anesthesiologist Mr A treated me like a DOLL, the nurse Denise I believe her name was also treated me like a DOLL, my surgeon Dr Lee is the BEST and is always honest open transparent and trustworthy to me wishing them all nothing but success. After my operation Collette did the most to treat me like a DOLL even when I feel like I was annoying her, she showed no frustration… and the other Mr A who wheeled me down to my escort treated me like a DOLL too nothing but wonderful experience…even when I arrived the security and front desk were both professional sweet kind and amazing !!! I honestly wasn’t expecting this kind of service from anyone in the Bronx but I am truly speechless and thankful

Tube Rose Horrible, i gave birth to my first child here. I can’t explain u guys how worst was my experiences. Since the day i admit to the day I discharged it was like, im living in a haunted house. From the nurses to the doctors no one was well behaved or co-operating. They all had nasty attitude towards me and my baby. Till i die I won’t forgive them for doing such things with my baby and me. I will never ever forget and forgive them. Do not ever go their for ur childbirth.

No one called me back yet and it has been a few weeks. They need more staff to do the rescheduling. This is very unprofessional!
