Daniela Lathey Yes, I already have a review of this place. Just on a different account, but I will mention. I love how bright this YMCA is. When you walk in, its nice for people with visually impairments to have sometimes a nice lighting set up to see. I think the staff is Wonderfully kind and generous to help you out when you need help. Overall, this YMCA is fantastic. 4 families, they do a good job at keeping everything clean and do a wonderful job to make sure you are comfortable while you are there anything?

Tyler Swisher The gym equipment selection is great and the workers at child watch are top notch. My family has the YMCA of Greater Rochester passport membership which has allowed us to spend time at many of the Y’s in our area and this is our current favorite, not because it has the best selection but because of how friendly and family oriented the staff are.

Steve Delahunty Probably the nicest YMCA ever been in my life. I grew up going to the Eastern Queens New York YMCA and I worked at the Easton Pennsylvania YMCA and I often swim at the Geneva New York YMCA. Of course this place is brand new so that helps. Really great meeting areas and areas for kid watching and kids to play. Notice the training kitchen. Obvious areas like for basketball and walking and swimming and working out in free weights also a cycle room.

Chuck Abate They built a brand new YMCA here in Canandaigua, the options were unlimited on what could be included in the new facility, and yet they deliberately opted against including a school age child care space. So now we pay for my son the attend the YMCA before and after school program, which is located in the cafeteria of the elementary school, and he has no access to the actual YMCA. It makes no sense.

Daniela Lathey The Sams YMCA and canadaquin New York is a good YM. CA period I like this. YMCA, because its bright and inviting to me with a visually impairment period the staff that work there are very helpful envilling and wanting to help you out period I like that. There is good amount of options for exercising there. They have different styles of gyms and a long walking path indoors. They have a hydrill massage machine for use. There too. They have a pool, hot tub and dry sauna, coming later, A What summer hopefully period overall? I like this place because of the brightness and the nice staff. Oh I didnt mansion. This is a brand new location for this YM. CA period Good for families and good for gently. Getting a good workout in

Pink Ribbon Beware of the female care givers at this practice they like to body shame u. Was told by the np kline that I was malnourished and dehydrated both were untrue and she literally yelled at me the entire appointment! Another provider pushed vaccines and body shames as well! Avoid this practice!

He is doing so much better. It is very clean as well, the food honestly isnt bad as well. The staff is really caring. Thank you Jenn, Tina, Wendy, and Amber. Thanks so much!

Lyn Doan My mother has now been a resident in this facility for almost 1 year. She is now doing better than she had been for the past 2-3 years. I am so very grateful for her care, her staff and her unit, the Meadows. Everyone is so compassionate and caring, and I feel secure knowing she is there. As a registered nurse, I know healthcare quite well, and I know the other available options my mother had. There was never a doubt in my mind that the Ewing CCC was my first and only choice for her. Thank you to all of you and know how much my siblings and I appreciate all of you.

There have been concerns throughout the years, but we do feel the facility provides genuinely compassionate care and is communicative. Short staffing is an issue everywhere these days, but the facility is clean and she is well cared for. Very grateful for all the staff here!

My last one I did she told me I had to do a couple extra things to get it and she would sign off. I go and do everything she wants and then does not even have the curtesy to tell me her self that she wont pass it. Even after she told me she would . This is my life they are playing with and cant even make up there minds when helping someone.

Karen Shughart Very impressed. From the time you enter the office, you have a good feeling. The front desk staff were welcoming and kind, and the waiting room quiet and calm. The nurses I saw were incredibly empathetic, thorough and reassuring, and they listened to me. My medical issue was dealt with professionally. I would recommend this place to others.

Kathryn Jozwiak-Henrie I decided to give Family Heath NP Immediate Care a try after my primary physicians office could not get me for a couple of days. I am impressed with how fast they got me in and out ( about 20 mins total) with a prescription sent to my pharmacy. I also had my grandkids with me ages 2 & 4, and they took the time with the kids, talking and telling them what they are doing. When I got to the pharmacy, they said they didnt get the script, so I called back to FMNPIC and they immediately called the pharmacy and got the issue resolved. Then they called me to ask if everything was straighten out and that I have my script. Above and beyond. I will make this my go to for urgent care.

Ronn DeGeorge Have had to use this immediate care a couple times for our kid. Each time there have been billing issues. Everyone in the office claims that they are not in charge of billing, and pass the buck. Always corporates (Rockland Urgent Care) fault. It got so bad, and unresolved, had to file disputes with credit card (Citi) and they said they have had numerous issues with this merchant and immediately resolved my dispute when told the incorrect amount was billed. Would recommend going elsewhere, or triple checking billing/insurance submitted amount. Either run by incompetent people or running some sort of scam...its unfortunate as the medical staff are helpful, but the back office is horrible.

Juliana Quinones Lets just say that this is possibly the best Urgent Care that I have ever been to. Each time that I have went in, the Receptionists were extremely kind, helpful, and patient. Along with the receptionists, the nurses and all of the providers were the ABSOLUTE BEST! They helped me with everything that was going on. They are quick, efficient and make sure they do everything they physically can to make sure you get out happy and feeling better. I HIGHLY recommend you come here for all your urgent care needs. Let me just say this as well, I have read the reviews and do not believe one word of the negative reviews. I have seen how rude some of the patients have been to all of the providers... and I cant believe it! Lets just say if you are looking to be seen so you can feel better, dont be rude to the people who are trying to help you! Its common courtesy.

Rittennis 81 Dr. Alling is consistently about an hour or more behind on appointments so you have to schedule yourself about 2 hours for what should be a 30-45 minute visit including check in. The level of care that Dr. Alling provides has also dropped off over the last year or so. He will cut off his patients before they can fully explain the reasoning for the visit and will jump to conclusions without all of the information you provide. With the way I’ve been treated, 1 star is too high of a rating.

Donna Jaxon I have what they called (white coat syndrome). When I moved to Bristol from Irondiqouit I new I had to find a doctor close by. We all know this is scary trying to find a doctor you are comfortable with. Lucky for me Dr. Alling started working at the Medical group and accepting new patients. Well to make this short I was in my 40s at the time. Now in my 60s I am a healthy active women thanks to Dr Allings care. He is a great man who cares for his patients, but also a loving family man and like me a dog lover. He hélped with my recovery from a brain aneurysm and the physical stress of going through a divorce. I am not one to write a review, but this man is a incredible Doctor.

Emily Bohrer I was given the wrong address and became extremely overstimulated and overwhelmed as I dont like to leave the house at all. I tried to explain that but was laughed at anyway when I went to leave the office. Being doctors, youd think theyd at least have some kind of understanding of autism but they dont. I felt like the lowest dirt after leaving. I really hope I never have to go back!

Rebecca Dickerson I usually wouldn’t write a review. But, stay away. I had Dr. Vitticore first and he was amazing. dr. Tolomeo not so much. He missed my appointment via telehealth I was logged in and he stated he was too. I called 15 minutes later (mind you my appt. stated it was 1 he long) he said he had another patient. I have done telehealth with my own clients and call 5 minutes after I see they are not logged in or if there’s a problem, but yeah nothing- I called him. Thankfully he stated he would FaceTime after the other patient. But, when he did he didn’t know any of my medical concerns. Asked about headaches that I don’t get. Tried to take me off a seizure medication that has kept me seizure free for 3 years and when I told him no he asked what kind of seizures I get (it’s in my chart). Then he decided against. He asks who treats my narcolepsy. He does or did anyway until he prescribed a medication that made me more tired. Idk I’m so frustrated with him. I called today to switch providers and they won’t let me. They stated I need to get a second opinion from an outside source which is fine I’ll switch. But if you’re a first time patient I would recommend avoiding Tolomeo- he will make your medical conditions worse. There was no reason to suggest just changing or stopping my seizure medication.

He is very intelligent I was very impressed with the care I received today. His intake nurse was very kind when I arrived and so was the lady that rescheduled my appointment when I was leaving. Internal medicine Dr Marino I highly recommend. 1 more thing the receptionist on my exit asked me if I wanted her to set up the ortho appointment for me she did. Very awesome ty.

MES Gud Vibes w/“Receptionist”. Despised the excess documents, I assumed I was required to complete. Didn’t wait long. Was not told before: Menzies &/or caffeine can increase pain of mammogram. I felt unnecessary pain caused by this human-made torturous apparatus. 1) Made by a male? 2) 3-D image (radiation)?

Rachel Midey Finger Lakes health is not being careful with who theyre hiring. I saw Dr. Reihaneh Derafsh and it was an absolute nightmare. She didnt listen to any of my symptoms or concerns. I used to see Dr. Pita-Acevedo and she was excellent but she retired. Im not sure if FL health is desperate for doctors right now but Dr. Derafsh gave me the lowest quality care possible. Avoid this doctor at all costs especially if youre a young woman.

Bryan M Update: while their audiology dept did lose my hearing test proving my hearing loss I do have to admit that has been overshadowed by the drastic change I have experienced here. It used to be a rundown facility with intatentive care less staff. Now the care facilities actually feel like a modern hospital with staff that are proactive in helping with medical needs. I feel so much better about coming here than I had in the past.

Laura Cataldo Good service for my Dad. Icy temperatures inside though, and what happened to the beautiful historical building? Everywhere we went, the inside was modernized. Respect our history and remember the elderly need to stay warm. Their skin is thinner and circulation poorer.

maxwell lucchesi Absolutely awful pharmacy service. The PA even spoke to the pharmacist and said they never received anything. Every time they make things difficult almost impossible. Now I have to be reimbursed for medicine and sent somewhere else because the Canandaigua va pharmacy does not know how to do their job. So upsetting it’s hard to put into words. We trekked all over town to get my medicine for Covid and all they said is you could file to be reimbursed

Michael Roach 2014 All the Staff seem Genuine, Polite, Professional, and Experienced. Very Happy.
2022 Staff has been slashed. Takes over 2 months to get certain results now. Many of my favorite staff have burned out and left. What friends I have that still work here say there has been a lot of staff cuts and new negative changes from administration causing all the problems. I am seriously thinking about dumping them. However, the problem is defiantly not caused by the front line people trying to take care of me. I have never felt like my team did not care about me or wasnt trying to do everything they could for me. Its more of a money/policy issue.

sam tambe PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE! My husband was placed here, the staff for the wound nurse barely cleaned the surgical site near his personal area. Plus they didnt keep it dry to heal,he was in a diaper that covered said wond. Keeping it wet from the moisture from urine and poop! I went to the nurses aids desk, all were joking around and on there cell phones, I asked them to change my husband in about 20 minutes. He was pooping and the same poop was still in the morning. He had dialysis 3 days week. The nurses that did his dialysis called and would let me know to see if he had an infection, because the dialysis isnt doing a thing. When he saw his surgeon after 12 days they removed his diaper and they freaked out and called 911 for emergency transport to RH. For a total of 3 surgerys. They could not save him. So please save your family from being tortured here. I also have pictures of his wound it looks like infected raw meet!

Kim Welch My mother in law was placed here for rehab because no other beds were available. I could never fully describe to you the condition she went in and the condition she left in. It was a horrible mistake leaving her there. They were so rough with her, she left with bruises all over her arms. She has advanced Alzheimer’s. They took her to one doctors appointment in the winter in a tshirt. That’s elder abuse. They never changed her, she always smelled like urine. Her hair was always dirty. Food on the floor yet the staff would sit at their station and play their phones. Our biggest regret is letting her go to this place. I cannot believe the state hasn’t shut them down. I will never forget the smell of urine from that place. And the way the staff acts, that comes from the top. I feel horrible that anyone is left there.

Kim Forcey My dad was sent here after almost 2 months of being at RGH. It was either here or Buffalo. I jumped at it because no-one else was responding with availability and I didnt want to have to go to Buffalo. The 3.6 Review of this place is NOT TRUE. The only reason this facility is getting 1 star from me is because I cant go less. The only responsive person in the whole place was April in the business office. The building is old and dated which I could have gotten past but the care at this place was minimal at best. The smell of urine as soon as you got off the elevator on the 2nd floor would knock over a gorilla. I walked into my dads room on one occasion and a used depends was on the floor in the corner of the bathroom. They let him go commando every day and his clothes barely got changed, he smelled terrible all the time. The staff was limited at best and most of the time when I would walk to the nurses station they were sitting there on their phones, and asking them for anything was like you were an inconvenience. I received several calls about him falling and when I would question what happened they all CYAd. I cant believe the State allows this place to remain open. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, ever.

I didnt even have to sit in the waiting room!!!! Maybe because my appt. was early but Im accustomed to waiting well over an hour at other practices. Sue Ellen my check in nurse was very down to earth and Dr. Price was very sweet and approachable as well as being very thorough. I didnt feel rushed in the least. The receptionist was also lovely. Leanne Strong They took too long to consider the possibility that I might have an issue with my thyroid. Any time I went in, the numbers on the scale kept either going up, or staying where they were the last time. The doctor I was seeing (who unfortunately has left the practice, and was replaced) just kept telling me to eat healthier and exercise regularly, both of which I was already very good about. If I were a doctor, I would begin to consider the possibility of thyroid issues after the first few times the same patient told me that they were already very good about eating healthy, but continued gaining weight.
However, the doctor I was seeing when I first started at Victor Family Practice was very kind, caring, and intelligent. Im sure that had she been my doctor for longer, she might have begun to consider the possibility of thyroid problems, after all the times I told her I was already good about eating healthy and exercising regularly, and yet, the numbers on the scale kept going up.

JoAnn Mantisi My spouse and I have been patients at this office for 15 years. Today my spouse had a had an appointment and tried to pay for my recent Televisit copay when he paid for his copay today. Staff took money just for his copay and said that he could not pay for my televisit copay because they were too busy. Seriously that is terrible customer service for something that would’ve taken literally one minute to do. I guess they don’t need my money that bad then do they. The first time I called December 2nd, I spoke with Karen she advised me I missed an appointment in 2017 which I apologized for told me her office manager would have to make a decision and call me back within 24 hours. Karen wasnt pleasant to speak with. I called again today, Decmber 4th, and spoke with Mary, seeking an update on the decision whether I could be seen by Dr. Thomas. I apologized again to Mary for my mistake 8 years ago at 23 years old. Mary said, and I quote, "Like anything is different now that youre in your 30s". Ken Ochs When I made my appointment for two and a half months out, I told them I needed a referral and asked if they would verify my insurance. I was very rudely told their office did not require referrals(my insurance company said they did) and they wouldnt do it. They also said they would not verify my insurance until 2 weeks before my test. Again rudley the receptionist said " we know what we are doing". Two weeks before my test they called and canceled my test because my test was not covered by my insurance. Dr. Thomas may be a good doctor but if you read this and other reviews you will see his office staff is not caring or respectful. They will not do anything extra for patients and believe patients know absolutly nothing about how insurance works.

Taylor Worner If I could give this a negative score I would. Not only was the birthing center horrific.. Because my nurses acted like I was annoying, and they would rather have something better to do than help me deliver my baby, They also pumped him with vaccines before I even got my child back When he came out.
Fast-forward to Me going to Thompson pediatrics… My doctor was barely available. Dr. Campbell was my son’s doctor. Every single visit the past 5-6 times I’ve had to go. They wanted to give my son two or three vaccines under the age of one. They came to a point where he had gotten a cold after getting the first Few rounds so I asked them not to vaccinate him that time as every time he goes, he would get sick from the vaccination. I got weirded out, pulled my medical file and saw that I did not have nearly as many vaccinations at this age in the 90s. I went back for a regular visit not only did they not tell me that I would be in internal medicine instead of pediatrics For my nine month old baby, but when I got there, they refused to talk to me about any thing other than another vaccine. They wouldn’t even prescribe my son vitamin D. The nurse that came in and kept repeating the same thing over and over again Like she was desperate for me to get another vaccine for him she said the visit was over and she wasn’t willing to talk about anything else.. Caused me stress and humiliation On top of my son being in a negative space, and having to get him up and ready at 7 in the morning. Now I am not an anti-VAX mother whatsoever… However, I have researched a lot of of these vaccines and do not want my son going to the doctor just for them To be a jab happy. If you have the opportunity to avoid Thompson I would do so go to strong!!! Even if there’s a health crisis there as well these people do not care about your children, They do not care about you. Whether they’re overworked or seeking a big paycheck from the vaccines. It is disgusting. Sorry for the long Review… My grandfather I also care for has been in And out of the hospital due to sepsis… This hospital released my grandfather, without telling anybody, knowing that he has dementia And he walked around the hospital for eight hours Without anybody knowing. If this doesn’t give you an idea to go somewhere else I don’t know what will. Now I have to find another doctor, and we have to go 2 hours out of our way for medical care!

Jeannie Lay I have terrible stories in regards to this hospital that span decades. However, I was unlucky enough to have a bulged disc in my back in April. The ambulance took me to Thompson. Shockingly enough, my visit started out great. Immediately in the ED room, the doctor in to see me in 5 minutes or so. They gave me pain meds. I had a MRI. Noting significant enough to be admitted. My visit was good, until they wanted me to leave. My boyfriend left to swap vehicles as I was told I would be discharged in an hour or so. Apparently they changed their mind, because 20 minutes later they were putting me in a wheel chair and sending me out to the entrance to the waiting room although my ride was 30 minutes away. This probably would also have been fine if I did not start projectile vomiting as soon as I got into the wheel chair. They pushed me past the nurses desk while I was vomiting. They pushed me through the waiting room while I was vomiting. They left me in the little foyer of the waiting room by myself while I waited a half hour for my ride to arrive. The administrator behind the admissions desk looked out at me at one point while I was vomiting. She kept on sitting there though. I received no help from anyone. There I sat in the entry way completely high on Dilauded and violently ill with my purse set on my knee where the orderly left it and in an unlocked wheel chair while I vomited. I am talking severely vomiting. Not spitting up, not nauseous. Projectile vomiting into a little pink basin. Luckily I was too sick to try to get up. I did not fall out of the chair. However, I did call and put in a complaint which they "looked into". I told the woman on the phone that I did not anything from them, but rather I had hoped that my complaint would be a learning opportunity. I know that there are cameras everywhere in the ED. I asked for them to be pulled and viewed. It took a couple of months, but I just got my response back and it does not sit well with me. They basically broomed me. Now I am wishing that I had complained to the Board of Health as I was told to do by many people in health care. I am a relatively healthy 53 year old. Be sure if you end up at this ED with a loved one, that someone is there to advocate for them until you leave. There is no one there to care about your well being. Even though this hospital has been taken over by the U of R, they are still the same substandard ED that they have always been.

nobody noone RUN. Wish I could give zero stars. If you want any kind of real help with your medical conditions, DO NOT go here. Especially DO NOT see Colleen for anything. She does not care about her patients whatsoever, and she will not listen to or address your health concerns. It honestly blows my mind that she still is allowed to practice medicine. For years she ignored my symptoms and told me to "just lose weight and itll get better". Turned out i have a hormonal condition that left untreated, caused that weight gain and caused reproductive issues for me later down the line. Steer clear.

I.M.N I have left numerous voicemails, spoken to multiple receptionists, called the office countless times, and have yet to hear from my primary care doctor after being considered “priority”. If I say I need to speak to my doctor for weeks on end, I simply need to speak to my doctor, not get a prescription refill. I am disgusted and incredibly disappointed by the NEGLECT of this practice.

Atticus Ellis Went in for a physical and a checkup on my knee. Did not even get the physical. Doctor Colleen foot put very little attention or care into my issues as i was describing them to her. Nobody in this office cares about you or your health. Ive tried scheduling a physical for months with my primary care doctor Dr teerlink and keep just getting refered to Colleen foot. Terrible experience will not go back.

Lisa Smith NO STARS at ALL !! Last night was horrible I came in with my son he had a seizure in the car I called the hospital before I came in so the girls can meet me out at the door. As soon as I got there there was two girls coming out with a wheelchair like a wheelchair and we got my son out I asked them for help and they were looking at me like I was kind of. Anyways we got them in I got his insurance stuff done they told me I couldnt go back so I waited for a little bit. Then I went back and my son finally came through after a while. My son finally woken up but his head was hurting so bad. So a nurse came in and I told her whos the doctor she said we dont have a doctor. I said okay well can somebody give him some Tylenol cuz his head is hurting him and of course his body was just out of it from having his grand mal seizure. She said in a snobby way I dont know and she walked out close the curtain like she was upset. Then another nurse came and tried to take blood from my son and blew his vein out she said I have to get another nurse in here. So another one came in and I asked her who was that other lady and her name was Chelsea the nurse. She was a snob. Then I went out for some coffee and I told the lady in front that my son needs a blanket already she said okay. So I went out and got my coffee came back and my son had no blanket on. There was a nurse practitioner on call. She came in and said yes that he had a grand mal seizure and really didnt do a darn thing!!! My son last night couldnt breathe but I told him no more Warsaw hospital!! They dont treat there patients right at all.. I hope nobody runs into that Chelsea the nurse.. I will be calling the Head hospital and reporting this!! Not the first time this has happened!! Never again!! Please go somewhere else! If you have to tell the ambulance driver to go to Buffalo I would do so! Take my advice from one patient to another patient that has been dealing with seizures... God bless whoever goes there.. NEVER AGAIN!!

Mr Tc Cats Its 50/50 if youll get good service or not. Some of the Doctors really shouldnt be allowed to practice. Like foe example the MRI operator. On call, but refuse to come in so youre forced to go all the way to strong. Genuinely so stupid.
I also have heard of a few of my friends being sent home over & over again to only find out theirs a major problem when they go somewhere else. Honestly, the state should investigate this place sometime.

P T A family member had an emergency Behavioral Health issue. We were staying at Letchworth St. Park so we had no cell service.
Upon leaving we finally received cell service. We had faith that our family member was being taken care of. Well, they discharged him without speaking to his family due to not meeting criteria for admission.
The nurse said to us ,"If this was my family member I would have contacted the hospital for an update." She knew we didnt have cell service however that remark was very unprofessional. Here we are in a Mental Health crisis and she has shown us no empathy. I hope she isnt like that with everyone. No understanding of what the family goes through!
BY The Way...he met the criteria for admission at ECMC!

Brianna Taylor Cassandra is the absolute sweetest. Very nice, understanding and made sure I was comfortable the ENTIRE time. The first appointment I had they decided to r/s but only due to a death in my family, told me to be with family instead. Which was very thoughtful and nice. She went out of her way that day to explain everything, and today did the same. Walked me through what we’d do and was just super nice and caring. It’s really rare to get nice nurses, doctors, so to have someone as nice as her was very refreshing. Hannah was also there and was very nice as well. They both made sure I was comfy and that I was good the entire time and constantly checking in making sure I was good. Def would recommend:)

Brandi Meeder 22 The other reviews were right. Just find somewhere else. I’m pregnant with my first and thought I’d stay here out of convenience since I live and work close by. Their care is not worth it though. From the first person you see to the last, it’s all awful. I called when I found out I was pregnant, they should’ve scheduled my next 3-4 appointments out, but they didn’t. So when I went in at 9 weeks and now needed to schedule 6 appointments out but there was no space for me. They dropped my provider and told me it didn’t matter because the on call provider would deliver my baby. We see a stranger every time I go. Cassandra Gleason is the only one we have felt comfortable with and felt she genuinely cared but they said I couldn’t keep her. They’ve last minute canceled my appointments a couple times now. The last stranger provider left me in tears for asking questions and spent more time making me feel stupid for doing a clean catch than she did on my symptoms I was concerned about. I don’t trust them any more. I’m clearly just another thing on their to do list and a charge to the insurance company.

Breonna Schneider If you can avoid this OB PLEASE DO. their care is in the money lining your pockets and not with your baby. For our first baby we had Cantwell, who was always very rushing and did not discuss very important information with us during any visit. Several times I told her I cannot see male Drs, and when I went in to be induced for my son to my suprise there was a male Dr, who was sweet and amazing but still set off my triggers and caused unneeded stress. On more that 3 separate occasions Cantwell was late to our scheduled appts by OVER 45 minutes, up to an hour and a half late! I was late to 2 appts, one by 15 minutes and one by 4 minutes and both had to be rescheduled, I am a high risk for both pregnancies and have had heavy severe all day sickness and have my 8 month old. During my first pregnancy I was given 6 different medications to combat the nausea, the main one being Zofran, with the instructions to take every 4 hours as needed. Recently during this pregnancy the midwife we switched to told us not to take more than 3 a day because they can cause heart defects in the baby!!!! This would have been amazing information to receive during my first pregnancy when I was taking more than 3 a day. This office is absolutely ridiculous, does not care about its patients or their time, does not care about what is best for patients. Please avoid this stress if you are able.

S B DO NOT USE THE IMAGING PLACE HERE!! Well worth waiting at the hospital for imaging! They are the RUDEST office Ive ever encountered! From the secretary right to the tech! I have been going here for years! Always, always, always have had bad experiences (except for one time when a young girl was the secretary, not this older lady). Constant attitude from the secretary, smart snickering and then your like ok maybe this is just how this lady is. So, the tech calls ya and your hoping for the fun and excitement attitude and shes right along with the secretary! I know 3 other pregnant ladies that have had issues and have changed practices or locations bc no one wants to deal with people who hate their job! Get a new one! We go in trying to see our babies that are growing and just get completely turned off and now the appointment to see our babies is not the happy exciting time! Find a different location for imaging!

Above all he ASKED me what I would like done instead of just telling me what we were going to do. It made me feel like I had a choice in my care. That was super nice. 5 stars!

I just wanted to make a review on Thompson Hospital BC because this is my second time delivering my son & I have had a great experience both times.
Dede one of the nurses, Susan being one of the nurses & great with advice, and Jessica our midwife all made the biggest impact on us.
Both times we had our sons, Dede had been there the whole way through & always was extremely personable & super patient! She seriously is a saint & the birthing center is extremely fortunate to have her. She even stayed late during our last son just so that way she could help & see a second baby she helped into the world

Terry Reiff Besides one nurse on the night staff in observation having a poor attitude and not doing much to help me post operation, the bottom line is everyone else during the entire process (from initial emergency room visit up until post operation and discharge) was wonderful, professional and extremely courteous. Not to mention I owe a huge thank you to the operating team and specifically Dr. Joseph Talarico for saving my life and doing amazing with my operation. Love you guys!

Gary Strong My wife and I have been in the ER for 7.25 hours. We are waiting for test results and really haven’t been told anything yet. Wish we had read the reviews for the ER before we came here. After several years of having bad reviews for the ER you would think something would change, but things still seem to be the same. Is it time to replace the CEO?

A Margaret Admitted to ER last night in severe pain. Staff is friendly but mostly useless. It took over an hour to be seen by a doctor, three hours before I was offered pain medication (declined), four hours before diagnostic testing was done. Left after being admitted for 5.5 hours with no answers, only fear that whatever had happened could happen again at any time. I cannot emphasize enough how SLOW the whole process was. If I had gotten the diagnostics done while I was still in pain, could we have gotten to the bottom of this? I wish I had stayed at home.

Z G The practice feels old and outdated, lacking the modern touches you’d expect in today’s modern medical facilities. During my visit, the doctor appeared attentive and gave the impression she was genuinely listening. However, after reviewing my appointment notes, it was clear she hadn’t. I clearly explained my medications and how I use them, yet she recorded incorrect dosages. I mentioned that I run 5 miles weekly but feel tired when running uphill, but she noted that I have breathing issues, which wasn’t what I said. Much of what I shared was misrepresented or taken out of context. I brought this to their attention, and although they apologized and offered a follow-up, I won’t be spending another copay on this practice. I don’t feel comfortable trusting someone who overlooks important details when it comes to diagnosing my health.

Dave Vanable Breath of fresh air in a challenging medical environment.
Today was my first appointment, and Dr. Jen Albrecht was fantastic -- listened, asked questions, and was REAL. (I dont know about you, but finding REAL in a medical environment is very tough these days.)
Yes, they are switching to MyChart which has not gone especially well... as someone who works in Tech I get it, this never goes well.
My experience of the people working at the desk, the nurses, was that of strong care for patients, as they work to navigate the rough road laid out by the business.
It took me months to locate a new practice (my previous doc had drifted from what made the practice good as he grew), and I felt incredibly welcome and supported at this lovely country practice.

Sara I have gone to Lima for years. I think the staff is very nice, but as of late, incompetent. Throughout the years I have had to beg to get imaging which uncovered a brain condition as well as spinal concerns. I had asked for further imaging for at least two years.
I recently fell and am recovering from a concussion. In that fall I fully herniated two discs in my neck. I gave the office disability paperwork mid July, which they did not complete properly. After a week of them having it I had to return it, another 4 weeks has passed (8/21). I gave up on getting a response to my calls and voicemails pleading for the forms to be completed. I made it clear that they were needed and I was unable to receive payments from disability until the forms were completed. They never completed them, they did not respond to my three messages or my employers request to complete the documents. The allotted time passed and I was denied disability.
I have forgiven smaller issues regarding feeling unheard about my several medical conditions, but this infraction lost me the only source of income as a single mom with chronic medical issues.
If you have chronic health issues, find another Dr. Since covid the quality of care has declined and I feel the staff is overworked and no longer has the time to do their jobs properly which ends up with the patients losing quality of care.

DWO I’ve been going to this practice for years but after losing Dr Mathis I can vouch that this practice has deteriorated greatly. First they have several clear misdiagnosis for me and my wife. Poison ivy being diagnosed as a bug bite for her and my skin condition as a bug bite as well. It appears if they don’t know it’s a “bug bite”….. Secondly the staff is unresponsive and uncaring. I now have a reaction to a tick bite, yes very ironic, and spent four days trying to get that looked at. Several phone messages left and one secretary who said she’d have a nurse call back and listed it as a “high priority”. That was four hours ago. I am now at urgent care and I will be looking for a new primary care practice. Avoid this practice!

Kathy Mashewske My husband was brought in ny ambulance because he was having extreme leg pain and could not walk. The EMT diagnosed him with sciatica. He was placed in a wheelchair but was unable to take the pain, so he was moved to a cubby. When the doctor finally arrived, he pushed his leg around and proclaimed it was sciatica. He was given advil and flexor. After an hour they brought his discharge papers. He was unable to stand or walk. The doctor came back in and insisted that he could walk. He was stages off the table as the doctor pulled him around the room. My husband collapsed back on the table. I asked the doctor how I was suppose to get him to the car and he said he help. At that point the doctor disappeared. The receptionist told us we needed to leave the room because he had been discharged. We didnt move because he couldnt walk. A nurse showed up with a stronger pain pill and he was discharged again.
The doctor felt the need to explain to me that the purpose of the ER is to stabilize, not treat.
My husband was taken to Unity 2 days later. After a simple blood test it was determined that he had had a cardiac event and after a MRI, it was determined that he had a herniated L3 disc.
This is not the first event at Thompson, but it was most definitely the last. The care is sub-standard at best.

Adriana Bismark The worst service in the entire area. If u want to actually be treated, go somewhere else. This hospital will give u: false cancer results, the most inadequate care (if any), deny you the basics of care and then laugh in your face as they discharge you while they did nothing! The entire staff is completely useless and do not care about you or the care you receive. You the lobby is full epect to be discharged without any care given at all to make room! Make sure you collect ALL belongings before the DR removes you feom your room to make you make a call or else the hospital will just steal your belongings and have no explanation! And bring your own Disinfectant because the rooms are not cleaned down properly between patients. GOOD LUCK

We arrived at 9:30a on a Friday, only a few people in the waiting room. We got checked in and then sat in the waiting area, FIVE hours went by, it was freezing cold in there, at that point I got fed up and took my mother home, this place is horrific, I wouldnt go there again even if I was on my last gasping breath. I highly recommend Clifton Springs over this pile of crap hospital, the staff there, nurses and doctor, were absolutely amazing and took great care of my mother, we were in and out in 3 hours, from check in to xrays to pain meds administered to discharge, I cant say enough good things about Clifton Springs.
