Christine Suttle I brought my dog to upstate Vet in Latham 3 times in the past 12 years and right from Check in to the Doctors they are all amazing !! My Max ingested something 3 different times and 2 times they were able to save his life and gave him quality of life for many years to come !! This last time I know they could have saved him however being a 12 yr old Bull Mastiff we opted to Euthanize him , Dr.Zorn did the procedure and she was amazingly caring and reassuring of the process !! When I went to sign the paperwork the girls at the front desk made me feel like they truly cared about me and my Max !! Much love and respect to this whole practice !! I would hands down recommend over and over !! Thank you for being so kind and loving !! Chrissy Suttle, Steve Poulin and Max poulin

Jamie LeBourveau Our vet recently discovered a heart murmur in one of our dogs. We couldnt get in to see a cardiologist at the place wed normally go to until spring, so our vet recommended Upstate. We were impressed from first contact through the actual appointment. It was easy to schedule, all questions were addressed in a friendly and professional manner, and we were advised of expected visit duration and cost. We were checked in quickly, the waiting area was comfortable and nicely arranged, and we didnt wait long for our appointment. All staff was wonderful and we immediately had confidence in both the cardio tech and vet. Cost was toward the low end of the estimate and we were on our way around the expected time. I also noticed EV charging stations in the parking lot. Nice convenience for clients. Highly recommend.

Sara Elizabeth Being that I live two hours away from UVS, calling here was a last-hope effort to get my cat an emergency cardiology consult. During a moment of panic when I was told by my primary vet that my 2 year old otherwise healthy cat may very unexpectedly be in congestive heart failure just days before Christmas, I was immediately relieved and comforted by the kind receptionist who took my call and offered me an extremely accommodating appointment. Dr. Kent and her team, with special credit to assistant/LVT Caitlin, have been beyond lovely, gentle and, most importantly, extremely intelligent and competent. My kitty was immediately given medical attention with every step of the diagnostic and treatment plan thoroughly explained to me. Although a challenging and rare case, we were given more attention and thought from Dr. Kent than I ever expected. Thankfully, Dr. Kent determined that my girl was not in heart failure and came up with a detailed treatment plan for her condition to which she has responded perfectly. Additionally, as a veterinary professional myself, I just want to add that I am beyond impressed with the cleanliness, organization, and calmness of this facility despite the amount of traffic they may have at any given time, as well as the kindness of all the front desk staff with special thanks to Jenna R. Ginger Ale thanks and loves you all for being there for us!

Dominique Morehouse My dog had to come here for a intestinal blockage and I am forever grateful. They were so compassionate and helpful. The doctor explained the procedure thoroughly and we discussed options of least invasive. I am forever grateful to them. They went through the bill of what the end quote might be after the procedure so I wasnt shocked and it did come back less even! The staff was so accommodating when I called to check in on him. Great place to go if in an emergency. Thank you everyone!

Roger-Cyndy Wilber We had to bring our young kitten, Lily, there for an appointment with Ophthalmologist, Dr. Corbett for a serious eye condition that our regular vet could not diagnose. The testing was done quickly with no trauma to our 3 month old kitten and a diagnosis was quickly made. Options were provided as far a treatments needed and new appointments were quickly set up. Dr. Corbett and the Vet techs were sweet and caring in their handling of our kitten, so she was not at all afraid. While the specialist visit was expensive, they do allow a discount for veterans, which was appreciated. Best of all was their active appointment "waiting list". Our original appointment was scheduled for April 2025. Then, as other appointments were cancelled or changed, we were moved up to a March appointment and then again, to a February appointment (which was appreciated) The office is spotless and the people are kind and welcoming. A wonderful place to bring your beloved pet if it is in need of specialty care and/or treatments.

Olivia Vann Ness We brought our Guinea pig Anastasia there in fall 2024. She was checked up with good care while she was sick. Everything went great with her medicine and was fine but you know Guinea pigs hide their pain well if something else is wrong. We didn’t see any signs and wish we did like we did from the first time. So unfortunately this February on the 6th she unexpectedly passed away. They were very comforting when we had to bring her back to get cremated and told us where she was going to get cremated. We got her back quickly than expected from how long the process is from what we were told. We discussed keepsakes with them. We didn’t get any back when she was ready to be picked up so I called and they are sent by mail and I felt bad by calling due to me being worried if they were able to get any or not but they were kind and very understanding as to why I called too. We greatly appreciate the support and kindness that they have for our little fur baby and for us as well. It is our first loss of a pet/furbaby. She is dearly missed and forever loved.

shyeann rawson This vet hospital is one of the few 24 hour hospitals in the area and they are all great. I express nothing for gratitude for them. My buddy, Toby, passed a few weeks ago which was a really upsetting outcome, but this hospital was incredibly thorough and caring throughout all of it. They are very honest and give thorough answers and advice, and do thorough testing. Thank you for taking the best care you could of Toby before his passing, I am eternally grateful and while I hope none of my other fur babies at home need to see the emergency vet soon, I know I can trust them with Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital.

Upstates Official The entire staff at this birthing center is AMAZING! They took such good care of my wife and my baby girl. I can’t say enough kind words. I can’t think of a single issue we had here, they respected every single wish we expressed, this type of care and compassion makes our hometown hospital look like a medical prison. For whatever reason we were close to this hospital when my wife’s water broke and this is where we ended up with a Google search of nearby hospitals, and we are SO GLAD we did. If you had a bad stay here like other reviews say, I’m gonna say YOU were the problem because these people in this birthing center are A-1. Start to finish. This is what having a baby SHOULD feel like.

Hayley Stevens I was eager and optimistic to find Julia via a friend’s referral to be our family medical provider. I called last week half a dozen times and the automated system said they were in the other line. I left two messages, sent an email, and called again today. While I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I started this feel concerned that about their lack of interest in new patients, accessibility, and responsiveness. Today I tried again and received a phone call back. Diane, the secretary, was so unwelcoming and curt with me when I kindly asked for reassurance that 6 business days of no return phone call and a continuously busy phone was not typical. The conversation was unnecessarily uncomfortable as Diane was rude, dismissive and condescending. They lost our business!

Ashley Spano I’m currently staying here while they monitor me and baby to ensure I’m not going into preterm labor, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care and comfort provided. First, the food here is great – by far the best I’ve ever had in any hospital, and I’ve been to quite a few! The dining staff is very friendly and accommodating. The nursing staff has been nothing short of amazing. Every nurse I’ve encountered has been attentive, kind, and genuinely caring—not just to me but also to my boyfriend, which means so much during a stressful time. They’ve gone above and beyond to make us feel supported and informed. The doctors here have also been fantastic. They are thorough, communicative, and quick to address any concerns or questions, ensuring that we stay updated every step of the way. Lastly, the facilities are excellent. The rooms are incredibly clean, spacious, and private. I was hesitant to be transferred here, over an hour away from home in an unfamiliar place, but this hospital has exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing care!

I had a c section done here and every single staff member was amazing, very kind and compassionate, they were so caring towards me during and after my procedure, and my baby as well. Sarah Providence During my recovery the overnight nurse i had (Makayla) was absolutely amazing. She was always on time with my pain meds, super friendly, always made sure I had everything needed and even when I asked for certain things I never had to wait long she was always right on it. (Unlike my day nurse that had me 3 hours late on my pain meds and had me wait 1 hour before she brought my son formula after I told her I was out)

Pam Eistertz I was referred here by my gynecologist for sterilization procedure with Dr. Wilson-Leedy. The worst part was getting a callback regarding my referral. This took multiple weeks and calls from my doctors office went unreturned. Once someone finally reached out to me, I was in the office the following week for my consult. Everyone I interacted with was extremely kind and professional, never once questioning my decision to remain childfree. The details of the procedure and what to expect were clearly outlined and explained to me. The morning of my procedure, Dr. Wilson-Leedy and all of the staff involved were great and made me feel extremely comfortable. Special shout out to Suzanne, who was with me every step of the way and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had!

Altranise Harris Ill drive by many vet hospitals to get to this place. The staff is very down-to-earth and compassionate, and the prices are fair and reasonable. During the beginning and end of last year, my family and I had to say goodbye to senior cats, and I am beyond satisfied with how the staff helped us navigate those difficult times. My family has now been adopted by a playful, snuggly kitten, and Dr. Stone loved on her the same way he used to love on our beloved senior kitties. My daughter loves coming to the homey, aesthetically pleasing office and she says she wants to become a veterinarian one day. We are grateful for the care at Bloominggrove and I am glad I can entrust them with our furry friends.

Ellie Knapp Blooming Grove Animal Hospital has earned a troubling reputation that’s hard to ignore, leaving many pet owners feeling confused and heartbroken by their experiences. Its upsetting to see such a lack of compassion for animals at a place that should be dedicated to their well-being. Numerous reviews and personal stories highlight a worrying pattern of neglect, including a failure to discuss the risks of surgeries with pet owners. Tragically, the frequency of surgical complications leading to the deaths of beloved pets raises serious concerns about the staff’s qualifications and expertise. It’s hard not to wonder why this facility is still operating when so many things seem to go wrong. Pet owners who trust their animals to Blooming Grove are left in grief and confusion, often without proper explanations about what happened to their pets. Instead of being a place of care and comfort, it feels more like an environment of indifference and neglect. When you take your pet in for medical care, you should feel reassurance and trust — unfortunately, many experiences suggest this hospital falls far short of that. It’s truly unfortunate that this place continues to operate without addressing the issues that compromise the safety and well-being of the pets in their care. I’m not here to bash any buisness but it truly concerning !!

Amy Delaney The level of absurdity I’m about to share is beyond belief. Mindy, Dr. Stone’s wife or ex-wife who is the "office manager", is certifiable. I read a review where someone called her “strangely aggressive,” and that description is spot on. She actively creates conflict with the people who keep her business running. Last week, I received an email invoice for over $200, dated January 2013, with no explanation. Assuming it was a mistake, I called the office expecting immediate resolution. The person answered said that they were sending these invoices to “a lot of people,” and while she understood completely, she needed to consult Mindy. I requested an email confirming resolution, as I’d never owed them money. I am very on top of my finances, had never been contacted about this and was certain this was erroneous. A week passed with no follow-up, so I called again. My call was screened 5x in a row. I finally reached Mindy. When I asked if my message had been passed on, she said deflected saying “a lot has happened in the last week.” I can only imagine how many other angry clients were calling about being billed decades later. When I reminded Mindy that I had never had an outstanding balance and that they’d never contacted me in 12 years, she said, “Well, it’s just me… there’s no accounting department.” So, 12 years later, youre sending bills? It didn’t add up. When I asked about the charges, the previous person I spoke to said it was for labs in Dec 2013, but Mindy said it was for an ultrasound in Jan 2014, admitted that the alleged service date wasn’t even correct. A glaring sign of their poor record keeping, confirming the accounting error. The whole situation is illogical...trying to collect a debt for something they’d never mentioned in 12 years and couldn’t even provide consistent information about it. When I pointed out that what they were doing was illegal under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the NY Consumer Credit Fairness Act (which limits debt collection attempts to 3 yrs in NY), Mindy couldnt care less and got nasty. The Attorney General’s office advised me to file a complaint, which I am doing. Instead of acknowledging the obvious issue, Mindy began insulting and attacking me, including accusing me of “sounding like someone who doesn’t want to pay their bills.”, etc. I expressed shock at her unprofessionalism and ended the call. I had been a loyal customer for years spending tens of thousands of dollars at their practice on routine visits, surgeries, boarding, grooming, and daycare. I supported their gala fundraising and participated in rescue fundraising events with my vet. Does that sound like someone who doesn’t pay their bills? She resorted to insults because she had no reasonable explanation. One more thing: it broke my heart to read reviews mentioning neglectful care leading to people losing their pets. I had a similar experience when one of my cats suddenly became ill. I rushed her in, but my regular vet wasn’t there, so I saw Dr. Stone. He told me my 4-year-old cat had lymphoma and said she had to be put down. I was in shock and asked how he could be so sure without tests/imaging. I refused and made an appointment with my regular vet for the next day who said there was no way she had cancer. Had I followed Dr. Stone’s advice, my cat would have been killed, but instead, she’s happy/healthy 15 yr old today! Mindy’s reputation in the community is well-known and numerous reviews describe her as hostile and aggressive, with reports of the hospitals dishonesty, lack of care resulting in pets’ deaths, unnecessary charges and dishonest billing. The pattern is clear. Unless you want to risk being slapped with a surprise bill a decade from now, deal with a confrontational, unstable "office manager" who won’t take responsibility, or put your pet’s life at risk, I strongly recommend you avoid this practice. Their negative reviews have piled up over the years, and it seems like this scam is a desperate attempt to keep a business drowning in karma afloat.

Lashawna Garvin Im sorely disappointed with this place now! My dog was a patient for a few years until recently!I took my 7 year old female dog in for care to see why she seemed like she was overweight all of a sudden. The vet talked me into paying $250 and left with no answers besides get her spayed ASAP! Im glad my family and I decided to wait because my dog had 9 beautiful puppies in her stomach! She gave birth comfortably and safely at home due to our care! Shame on this place to take my money and make such a big deal about my dog not being spayed.I definitely wont be back!

Rebecca Jordan I just want to give a big shoutout to Gloria! I went in for some blood work first thing in the morning. She struggled to find a good vein (not at all unusual with me). She tried first in the back of my right hand, but it didn’t work. Next she went in my left elbow, again no blood. The entire time she was apologizing, even though I was reassuring her that needles don’t bother me and that it was completely fine. I told her that one of my doctors who does in-house lab work has to go between two knuckles on my left hand. She asked me if I was really okay with trying that. I assured her that I was and as soon as the needle went in, the blood started flowing and she was able to get all three vials that she needed. Gloria was kind and compassionate and just very sweet. I hope she sticks around for a long time (and give that girl a raise! I am not an easy stick AT ALL and she didn’t lose her cool or get frustrated or anything)!

I called on Friday morning to request a second opinion appointment with another provider and was told I would get a call back Monday 11/26/24. No call was received. This doctor needs retraining or to no longer have a job. Reading the reviews Im not the only person who has had issues with her. Just stay away from this provider. Thank you to the amazing phlebotomist, nurses, and secretaries for making this awful experience somewhat salvageable.

Ann S DO NOT recommend. Very unhappy with my appointment here. The doctor I saw (Schlossberg) was super dismissive and rushed me in and out. He wrote a letter with wild inaccuracies to my primary dr and told me everyone is tired so that’s not really a symptom. I have called twice to speak to an office manager and see a different doctor and have not gotten a response. Edit: finally got a response after a week plus and numerous calls/emails.but despite their doctor being rude and incompetent, their only resolution was to make a whole new appt and pay another copay whole new copay to see another provider. If that’s all you are going to offer, I can just go find another practice myself.

When we met with Dr Sukamaran for the initial visit she was cold, and non empathetic When I asked her what the prognosis was and what treatment they were planning, she looked me straight in my eyes and said “No cure,no remission no Surgery. “ I asked her again what her treatment plan was and she looked at my husband and said “You will receive chemo until your body gives out” We went to MSK in Bergen County in NJ and saw Dr Gu..and Dr DeAngelica and Dr Pappoo. My husband after Surgery in nyc is cured of cancer. My recommendation is too run as fast as you can away from her and NYOH ALSO, the chemo meds NYOH were going to give my husband were deemed extremely expensive and ineffective by Dr Gu. I wish I could show the video of Dr Gu telling us that there is no longer any sign of disease

So many messages and important facts were missed by the doctor simply because the PA didn’t do her job adequately. Linda Bahr I have only been coming here since early 2023 but I can tell you, I really like and trust Dr Patel. Check in is always pleasant and I rarely wait more than 3-5 minutes after I arrive for my appointment. There is plenty of parking in a free lot. There is also a grocery store and pharmacy close by.

E B Can’t say enough great things. I typically do all of my reg on mychart to make it easier for the staff. I arrive and check-in and within a few minutes the nurse calls my name. Every nurse I’ve had so far has been incredible and personable. Special shout out to nurse “Mama Lou” and my PA Ashley Knutson.

Gabrielle Viens I started going to Troy Family Health Center in the summer of last year. I was recommended to them after my previous doctor was promoted and was no longer seeing patients. My first experience was very good, they checked me in quickly, confirmed that they took my insurance. My appointment went very quickly and the medical staff that I met were very nice. We set up some follow-up appointments and that was that. Here is where the trouble began. Not long after that appointment I received an expensive bill for said appointment. I was very confused because that appointment should have been completely covered by my insurance. If it wasn’t completely covered, it only should have been a very small co-pay. Trying to get ahold of the billing department on the phone to determine why I was being billed this amount was nearly impossible. The portal is not very effective either, I kept getting the run around. After several frustrating phone calls with my insurance company, a representative was finally able to determine that the medical staff that I was seen by was not actually covered by my insurance. Turns out she moved recently from out of state and was not yet enrolled to be an in network doctor for the state. Well that makes sense, but at no time prior to my appointment was I told that would be an out of network expense. I was actually told the opposite because at the time of my appointment, I asked if needed to pay my copay. I continued for several months to try and rectify bill. I used the portal, got the doctor involved and was told this was going to be fixed. Instead here I am seven months later with the bill having gone to collections. I am beyond frustrated. Anyone have recommendations for medical billing lawyers?

Julio Martinez Upon moving to Albany, I had a hard time finding a primary care doctor. However, the front desk personnel were extremely helpful in booking me for an appointment as soon as possible. There was minimal wait time in the waiting area, and I was seen by the doctor quickly. Since then, I have had several appointments, and every experience has been seamless, from the front desk to the nurses, techs, and doctors.

Obliteration Station The receptionist are terrible and rude. Nobody picks up the phone. They tell you to use the my patient portal chart. Because its past already getting a response. If thats the case, why is there any receptionist there? If they cant do their job, simply answer and pick up the phone. Ive called 5 times and waited on the phone and nobody picks up, and some of the nurses in the back are actually also just as rude as the receptionist This place is supposed to be a host center to help people. Youre not helping people by not being able to answer their questions. If nobody is there to pick up the phone, youre not there to help people if youre gonna be rude to your patients and bring their stress level up Like most of the receptionists in the front, eat their snacks and talk carp about the patients, and most of the nurses are physicians. I have patience to deal with any simple medical problems. Trying to figure out what happened when I got their degrees from. Without actually taking the time to sit down and take care of the problem, they just try to rotate you in and out like a revolving door its all the money In Insurance, they dont actually care about your hair

Gabriel Lopez I have been a patient at this office for years, but my experience has consistently declined to the point where I feel compelled to share my frustrations. Every year, it’s a new provider seeing me, there’s zero continuity of care. They cancel my annual physicals with vague reassurances about rescheduling, but they repeatedly failed to follow through. After months of waiting for a follow-up, I had to take the initiative to call them myself and finally spoke to a kind staff member who managed to get me back on the calendar. However, my annual physical was canceled again, this time because head cold. The lack of professionalism and complete disregard for patient care is unacceptable. As someone in the medical field myself, I can confidently say this office is the perfect example of how not to run a practice. Patients shouldn’t have to be their own relentless advocates just to receive basic care. When I finally voiced my frustrations about the disorganized nature of this practice, calling the scenario a “s-show”, I was dropped as a patient. Instead of addressing their systemic issues, they chose to avoid accountability. If I ran a business like this, I’d be out of work. Save yourself the stress and look for a medical practice that prioritizes its patients and delivers competent, consistent care. This place is an absolute disaster, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

c clemente Review for Dr. Oldendorf Ive been fortunate to have Dr. Oldendorf as my primary physician, and I can confidently say he is an exceptional doctor in every way. From the moment you step into his office, you feel a sense of calm and care. The environment is welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully organized, which reflects the professionalism of his entire practice. What sets Dr. Oldendorf apart is the time and attention he devotes to each of his patients. In a time when many doctors seem rushed, he takes the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and explain things clearly and thoroughly. You never feel like just another appointment on his schedule; he genuinely cares about your well-being. His expertise is evident in every interaction, and his ability to break down complex medical issues into something understandable is truly impressive. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but his kind and compassionate nature makes every visit a positive experience. His great personality puts you instantly at ease, and it’s clear that he cares about both your physical and mental health. He creates a space where you feel comfortable, valued, and well taken care of. Dr. Oldendorf and his entire team have created an exceptional healthcare experience. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness make every visit comfortable and reassuring. I’m incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I receive and would highly recommend Dr. Oldendorf and his office to anyone seeking expert medical care with a compassionate, personal approach. With appreciation, Cindy C

Michael Barber Dr. Hillary Siebeneck is awesome! I was so pleased with the services that I received that I decided to write a review. Dr. Siebeneck took all of my concerns seriously and addressed them as such. The not-so-good reviews that I read prior to my office visit were not at all reflective of my experience with this Doctor. Again, her staff were very professional, and Dr. Siebeneck was Awesome!

Sylvia Morales Dr. Hillary Siebeneck is a wonderfully patient and caring physician. From my very first appointment she took the time to answer all of my questions. She helped eased my mind concerning the reasons that caused me to make an appointment to see her. I highly recommend this office and the staff!

Todd Gyack This place is a joke. I called to ask the doctor a simple question about some ointment she prescribed me. I was told "to make an appointment". I think that is absolutely ridiculous! I also had the same issue as someone else posted above. I tried to make an appointment back in August because I had a "bump" my doctor wanted me to have checked out. They told me they could get me in during December. Luckily, I am still alive. They didnt seem to care too much. The lady who makes the appointments just laughed when I said "wow, I could be gone by that time." I will say that Hilary does seem to be caring and willing to listen to what is going on.

Maureen Vedder I may not understand the medical practice business but it seems counterproductive in many ways. My family community care doctor told me to call this community care dermatologist because she felt a spot that had recently appeared on my chest should be looked at. I called this office for an appointment and was told they couldn’t see me for six months. I may be dead by then. There was absolutely no sense of concern for my health on their part. It was six months take it or leave it. I left it. Why would I see a doctor who really doesn’t care about my health?!?

Nikki [Rhombus0fterror] All the women helping my son and I were so sweet and extremely helpful. It was our first time at the office to get a specific shot for his school. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable. They worked fast and the only delay we had in the least was our insurance company keeping them on hold for a simple check of activity for the account (the insurance companys fault, not this office). I would highly recommend coming here to get shots for your child. They are also very helpful with getting the proof of shots to your childs school. I will definitely come here again if I cant make a timely appointment with a primary care doctor for shots.

Rab Rab I just called because I was turned down 3 times to get he covid test, the first two times I was told to come back and when symptoms are worse, the third time I went was told I had all the symptoms but was turned down because my insurance is expired, I offered to pay out of pocket. And was told no. But I called here to ask someone about getting tested, and the lady that answered the phone told me they wont test if Im not showing symptoms. I told her I have all the symptoms and the lady got very rude and defensive, saying she wasnt going to argue with me. She shouldnt have a job to answer phone s with that attitude.

Lazarus 76 Closed during a public health crisis. No where to test for the virus unless youre near the city so people in the country are still spreading this virus because NYS doesnt have enough testing sites. Schools get closed for Covid yet they never run any tests on the students. Great way to ensure public health decline.

Keith Read Wow. Thats all I have to say. Dr. Adetona and her staff are extremely unprofessional. I recently needed to change prescriptions due to a change in my insurance coverage, and after speaking to them about needing this change, there was some pushback on my request. After a brief conversation with them, I received a message indicating that they would be dropping me as a patient with 30 day notice. In their words, they were "done with this". I pointed out how unprofessional this was, but that I understood if they wanted to move on. Shortly after I sent the message, my access to my portal account for my files and whatnot was removed. This is not a good practice to be a patient in, and I would advise looking elsewhere.

Bianca Davila Lets just start with the dirty parking lot that has a bed sheet laying over a dirt pile. I have a picture of it which i will to post. Anyways, I arrived 10 minutes early to my 12:10 Appointment to be seen an hour later at 1:00. I Was told it was very busy.... But it was not because at this point i had been there over 45 mins now & could see that they were busy. This had not been the first time this happened. I was already considering a new doctor because i just did not like this practice prior but needed a refill on my script. Finally once i had been seen i left upset because Dr Adetona who had been seeing me for 18 months prior and been prescribing me my contraceptive for over a year and a half now was no longer going to issue it to me because of her religious Beliefs. I reassured her that it was for pain with cramps & a normal cycle. She argued with me mad me very upset about myself & told me to find a new doctor. I have never been treated so unfairly ever before by a doctor nor wasted my time like i did today. Shes not a good doctor she is not professional and she doesnt care about peoples time. Please dont go here. Take the time to find a place that really cares. In addition to the post left about an hour ago I was in the waiting room and I heard the conversation between the staff member and that lady that left a review that’s all true it was handled very unprofessionally and the receptionist then talked about the client on the phone to another staff member in the building and I heard everything the place is a dump the employees don’t care it should be shut down.

Katherine Knapp Only cares about money and not patient care. I was in extreme pain after a tooth extraction and my dentist refused to write me pain meds and suggested I call my primary care physician instead. she refused to write me pain and didn’t care how much pain I was in. When I got bloodwork done showing my liver enzymes were off and she requested I repeat the test, I had to call and remind her to write me a script for a repeat test instead of her being on top of something that could’ve been a serious issue. The other staff there is amazing though (nurses and front desk staff) I just don’t suggest Dr. Adetutu

Rachelle Brilliant, DO

Anne Distin It was difficult to even give Dr. Brilliant one star. I called on Saturday to request a refill for my husband’s pain medicine and she was on-call. In no uncertain terms she informed me that New York State law did not permit refills of narcotics on weekends!?! After hanging up I called our pharmacy, where the pharmacist said this was not true. Meanwhile, today is Monday and we still have no refill. My husband has severe arthritic pain. I called the office this morning to request the refill as we usually do, and still no med available. I am no fan of Dr. Brilliant and doubt I ever will be. There was absolutely no indication of compassion in her voice and obviously in her pronouncements. If she had at least passed along our request to the practice, am certain it would be available by now. Why is she a ‘physician’?

Sarah Elizabeth Misdiagnosed me with a mood disorder (with a multiple choice test). She gave me medication I did not need that messed with my health and didn’t listen to me. I needed a health form completed for a study abroad program and she deemed me “unfit” to participate based on a diagnosis that wasn’t correct. I ended up suing the program (and winning) for discrimination but this would have never happened if this “doctor” bothered to listen to anything I was saying. I’ve heard from two other of my friends in the area who also got stuck w/ this monster and they have expressed the same sentiments. They both had Lyme disease. DO NOT GO TO HER FOR ANYTHING LYME DISEASE, THYROID ISSUES, PSYCHIATRY , Or anything else actually. There’s always someone who has to graduate in the bottom of their class. Dr. Brilliant? More like Dr. Dumb

Jacqueline Cubano Dr. Brilliant is an excellent doctor. As young as she looks, she is quite experienced and has been practicing for quite some time. When I was working for an agency years back she was the primary care doctor for one of our clients and was so attentive to his special needs that when I moved nearby to her current office location and saw she had openings, it was a no brainer. I know that if I email her with a question or concern, she will get back to me within a few hours. She has been gracious enough to give me advice on if something warrants a visit which is helpful for someone with a busy schedule. Her front desk staff are amazing and will find room for you if you need to see her right away. On a side note, the nurses are compassionate and sweet and the bloodwork technicians there are the best ever. They make giving blood so easy. I was in a serious car accident a couple years ago and Dr. Brilliant coordinated between all of my providers seamlessly. I would go to see a specialist at 9am and sometimes within an hour she would call me and follow-up with me having already written a report and talked to the other provider. She is diligent about following-up and making sure you understand what is going on. I had a mysterious reaction to something outside that needed treatment and she did everything she could to determine what was going on and did so quickly. Without asking, she contacts other providers to make sure they are scheduling my follow-ups in a timely manner. If my pharmacy requests a refill, her office is so quick to respond. I cannot tell you how secure I feel having my health in her hands. I would recommend Dr. Brilliant a thousand times over. She is the best.

Colleen Monington Dr. Brilliant is great and understands mental health concerns. You are in and out of the office relatively quickly and she makes sure to continue to follow up with you. She will also take steps to help you with smaller issues like my low blood pressure and give tips to help. She will sit and talk and won’t rush you out of her office. My only complaint is I can’t get in to see her every time but the office is usually very accommodating and will get back to you right away!

Adetutu Adetona MD

Angela Joyce I have been with Dr Adetona for 25 years. When I saw these reviews my jaw dropped. I need to add my 2 cents. I hope it helps. I was with DrAdetona when she moved her office. I was with her when she had some staff issues. I was with her through covid. I was with her when she learned to use her laptop! Dr Adetona was with me when my sister came home from across the country with no insurance and needed a doctor. She was with me through my childs mental health issues. She was with me through my young sons many medical issues. She was with me through my spinal cord surgery 10 years ago and the hardships that came with it to this day. I have gone to urgent care between appts. The only thing I ever saw her get upset about was when they didnt send her results. I cant say that Ive never had to wait sometimes at all of my different dr appts. They apologize, we move on. Since the use of digital equipment (including the laptop), I havent had to wait more than 10-15 minutes though. And that would be several years ago. One person mentioned her parking lot. Seriously? Dr. Adetona has tried to create a warm and welcome environment and is succeeding. Shes constantly adding one thing or another, including some impressive framed articles and awards. She supports her staff. I believe she is also a doctor for a nearby nursing home. In other words, if you want a clinical experience maybe you should see someone else. But you will miss out on a wonderful doctor and knowing a lovely person

Karen Molinares My daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Adetona for 2 years now. Dr. Adetona is an amazing family doctor. I have never had a long wait when I have had appointments. The staff always calls to remind of appointments. The waiting room and office areas are always clean. Dr. Adetona always asks pertinent questions and makes sure to address every medical issue I bring up to her even if it wasnt the purpose of my appointment. I highly recommend seeing her. She has been a great doctor and has helped my daughter and myself a lot!

Aiyana Young Don’t bother going here , worst doctors I’ve ever been to after getting a second degree burn wound on my foot I’ve been going to her to get it checked she says there’s nothing wrong but it seemed to be getting worse overtime even been to the hospital and somehow she’s upset and thinks I don’t want her advice just because I went to a urgent care to get it checked out and to get a littl more advice and insight on what’s going on with it ,Early on today I got a call from the office stating that dr Adetona thinks it’s best for me to find a new primary care doctor and that she feels as if I don’t want her advice which is ridiculous because I never once said that ??! But anyways save your time and avoid this place very unprofessional!!

Ms. Humanity It saddens me that my doctor, A. Adetona, refused to fill my script of which she is the original prescriber; simply because I went to a specialist for another matter her office was incapable of facilitating. In the interim, I’m experiencing symptoms from not having my medication and I will have to go to an urgent care doctor to get my meds. Adetona’s abuse of power and vengeful nature is terrifying and unprofessional to say the least. I will not step foot in that trifling office again.

Unhappy With The Service Initially when I called to set up an appointment, I had described exactly why I wanted an appointment with the one of the nurses on the phone. I waited a whole month to get this appointment only to be denied of a medication because of her own religious and personal beliefs. I made it very clear on the phone why I wanted an appointment. When I asked her if she can prescribe me medication, she said “ I don’t believe in that”. She denied my basic health care rights as a women when putting her personal belief ahead of my needs. I will be seeking a different PCP. How can I trust a doctor to have the best interest of my health when their personal beliefs are conflicted with my basic health care needs?

Casey Pagan Been with them for almost 10 years and Ive been switched from doctor to doctor to nurse practitioners without complaint. Ive rescheduled my previous appointment twice because of my job and they dismissed me from the practice stating Ive had 3 no call no shows which I do not just the 2 reschedules. They want 24 hours notice for reschedules and ive stated a few times to them that I cannot guarantee that if my job makes me stay. They have no sympathy. Me, my husband and 2 children all go here and now I have to find a new primary. I will never recommend this practice again.

Trevor WolfGould I had an appointment here today, my regular primary care provider was unavailable so I had said it was fine to be seen by a provider named Morgan Slusarczyk. I have serious back pain due to a long term injury and she brushed through the appointment in about 5 mins just by writing a referral to an another doctor. I felt like she didn’t care to spend time and ask information about the injury and my symptoms or really go in detail to talk about any medication that might help. This and a previous bad experience with the reception is going to have me switching providers. Jen Wiley is the is the only good doctor there and if you can’t get an appointment with her you’re better off going someplace else. The one time a year I ask for some medicine to help out with extreme pain and I’m treated like some kind of junkie, so unacceptable. 0/10 for this visit which I drove 45 mins to and the provider was 15 mins late.

feist sarah Never had a problem here. They’re always doing their jobs. Sometimes there’s a wait but not any longer than everywhere else. I don’t really understand why there’s so many bad ratings. I’ve been going here for years now. The only issue I ever had was when my primary left the practice and I wasn’t given any notice. People can’t be perfect though, there’s a ton of patients to contact. I honestly don’t feel this practice is bad in any way. And if anyone needed a new primary I’d refer them here

Barbara Youngs I have been a patient of Partners in Family Medicine before they become a Partners In Family. More than 20 years I have been a patient when they were CHP,CDPHP and Kaiser Permante well over 20 + years and I must say the quality of care has de-creased drastically. In all the years never had I been denied or turned away due to time constraints. I understand how time sensitive we are however I think consideration should be consider on both sides the patients as well as Drs. Meaning when a patient checks in sometimes there is a wait. Today I was 15 min late for my apt and was denied to be seen without so much as a nurse triaging me as to what I needed to be seen for. More times then I can count I have arrived for my appointment had waited way more then 15 min at times to be seen, hardly ever are you seen right away. Yet when a patient is late they are denied to be seen without so much as a Nurse to Triage you. I feel as a patient their care should be taken seriously A dr. office never knows who they are turning away and I feel at the very least if you are denied to be seen, the very least, the very least a nurse should triage a patient on why they need to be seen before you turn a patient away. I truly believe this was done in very poor taste and will not be returning to Family in Partners Medicine as today of all days I really need to see my dr. Due to my confusion I admit, I was 15 min late for my appointment however no way should that be a reason not to be seen without so much as being triage. Again you never know the state of the patient you are turning away...

Ellen Schirmer Ive been a patient for years, no more. This practice is concerned more about $$ than it is the patient. Its almost to the point of being insurance fraud. The final straw can when an oral surgeon reached out for clearance for tooth extraction. I was told I needed to see the Dr. before she would sign. Why?? When did she become a dentist or oral surgeon ? This is not the first time for the unnecessary office visits. To top it off, shes extremely difficult to get an appointment with ---now I understand why. Im a cancer patient, so I see many doctors, its not like I dont have medical care. Her unnecessary office visit is a money grab and Im not supporting that any longer.

Kristen Frank I’ve been going here since I was age 13-15. (I’m 32 now do the math). I just waited on hold for 30 minutes to make an appointment with an “answering service” to find out they’re communicating with the MD office while I sit on hold. The date they offered me didn’t work with my schedule, and they offered me a call back from the office to schedule my follow up. (Mind you, my physical has been rescheduled 2x and canceled 1x BY THEM). I was told I’d get a call back for the last canceled, and I have yet to hear, so I chose to follow up with this outcome. 10/10 do not recommend. There are many other doctor’s offices with better communication out there. (I’m a fresh grad RN who has been making and taking people with disabilities on doctor’s appointments for 9 years, all over the capital district).

Emily Derepentigny Would NOT recommend. I have had multiple appointments cancelled day of without being notified in a timely manner, have to plan on waiting at least 45 minutes in the waiting room and an additional 20 once brought into an exam room. In hopes to avoid this, my husband attempted to schedule a telehealth visit, in which the provider was over 45 minutes late. After an hour, he disconnected. It wasn’t until another hour had passed that they reached out to him. They urge you to utilize the portal, however rarely respond and if they do almost always require you to schedule an in-person appointment. There have been numerous occasions where the providers do not follow up on concerns brought to their attention or send in prescriptions. The receptionists and nurses have been nothing but rude and have extremely poor customer service skills, I have been hung up on at least once. I had scheduled an appointment with the NP due to my primary not having any openings that work for me. They canceled my appointment (the morning of) stating I am unable to see another provider in the office if my primary is in for that day EVEN though I explained the only time she had was not doable for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor for clarification as I have never heard of such a thing. They never reached back out to me. Safe to say, both my husband and I decided that this is the last straw for us. We switched to CommunityCare today.

Thiri H If youre a patient seeking support and convenience, please steer clear of this place. All we needed was one little paper from the doctors note that clears the patient to work without restrictions. However, we were completely disregarded and put through loops. "Well give you a call back," they said, and we were told to wait more than necessary. I was patient, following up after the supposed 2-week timeframe for paperwork. Days passed, and I did my best to follow up, ensuring I followed instructions. However, they werent doing what they were supposed to on their end and blamed us, refusing to take accountability for their actions. "Youre not the only patient" and many other excuses were used to shift blame onto us for their lack of effort. The patient lost a job opportunity because the staff failed to provide the necessary paperwork and do the bare minimum. Its heartbreaking how some people can be so cruel and careless about another persons livelihood. Shame on them.

Antonio Mandurano When I moved to East Greenbush, one of the first things I needed to do was find a primary care to refill my important daily meds. I was able to get set up with Family Medical Group, and they are super close to my home. Its been really convenient, and I like my provider. I saw a lot of bad reviews calling out NP Cook, but in my several visits she has never made me feel like "just a check" or anything of the sort. She moves quickly, but I love that I can get in and out fast. Ive gone to an appointment on my lunch break and only spent 10 minutes in the office! Shes to the point, but doesnt miss relevant details either. She also was able to get me several referrals sent out to a few specialist I needed for continuing my treatment. At my old doctor, it was a battle to get even one referral! I cant speak on the other providers, but Cook is amazing in my book.

Cheryl L. Hedges & Judith M. Miller Was called twice by doctors office, the day before my appointment, to confirm that I was coming. I told them yes. I rented a U-Haul to get there. My wife and I drove all the way to Clifton Park, NY from Coxsackie, NY. When we showed up for the appointment we were told the appointment was cancelled due to behavioral concerns. We were told we were called that morning while we were driving to the appointment to tell us the appointment had been cancelled. If this was such a concern why didnt the doctor let us know earlier, within the last year. My wife is a disabled seizure patient who is without medication until she can find another neurologist. I was not allowed to speak with the doctor about this. Office people and nurses in doctors offices should not be able to make this decision.

Liz H Giving one star because you cant give 0. They clearly do not intend to be your life time doc; just want to get you in and out. Highly do not recommend.

Jamie Brown I had to switch practices when my neurologist just up and left his practice. My first visit to the Clifton Park Neurology office was amazing. I was skeptical and sad I had to switch from my old neurologist but now Im thinking it was a blessing in disguise. I saw Ian Sherman NP and he was just an all around great provider. He put my anxiety at ease and was extremely informative. All of the front desk staff was also super friendly and very pleasant to deal with. I am so happy I was referred here and would recommend to anyone looking! So relieved that I found such a great new place to establish care ❤️

venera martin Since they remodeled the lab in 2023 its gotten so much worse. Before you could be seen within 15 minutes, now the waiting is 1 hour to get in. So ridiculously slow.
