Jessie Yu I’ve been going to David since 2017-2018, so this review is 5 years overdue. Having tried many stylists in the past (been dying my hair since 2010), I have stuck with David ever since he has first done my hair. I have always been particular about my hair color and David has always been incredibly accommodating! Starting from the beginning, David is incredibly accommodating on my various schedules especially since I’ve been driving from Jersey just to see him. He always pays close attention to the reference pictures I show him and the particular details regarding what color I want my hair to be. What I appreciate about David is that he’s honest and tries his best to mimic the pictures but always warns that it won’t turn out exactly like the picture I show. David always walks me through what he plans on doing with my hair (of course) even though he knows I’ve been going for a while and trust his process. He also earnestly cares about the health of my hair and goes out of his way to use less harsh products to maintain the quality of my hair. He has referred me to various products like specific shampoo’s, conditioner’s, and purple conditioner’s. I also come to David when my hair seems particularly dry and he has used masks/treatments for my hair. What is really incredible about David is how he cares about his client’s satisfaction, he is willing to re-tone my hair even after a whole session if I am not happy with the end result. This care and consideration is what I believe puts David above other hair stylists! I appreciate that he is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure I love it. An important thing to note is that I have long, thick hair, so our full head sessions usually take about 8 hours long. David is always incredibly patient, and never tries to rush the long process. We’ve had to start at 12pm and end at around 9pm when his shop usually closes around 7pm. I have brought family to David, and he had fixed my cousin’s cut & color hair disaster in the past. David is someone I highly recommend as well as the rest of his staff. I want to give a special shout out to Kelly, David’s assistant, for giving great washes and also taking the time to do my hair. She is incredibly sweet and very meticulous as well. If you want to find a place where you can consistently go to and not fight for a place on the waiting list, I highly recommend David! I have attached my numerous pictures from different timelines of my life as well as different lightings to really show off his work. Another commendable note, whenever my hair starts growing out, the color still look good because he makes sure to blend it.

Edwin Caceres This salon is very professional, accommodating, and clean, with very kind and respectful barbers, stylists and assistants/washers. Ive been getting my haircuts from Derrick for over 15 years now. Like stated before he is very accommodating as he will give you a FREE CONSULTATION; so just speak clearly or show a picture of how you would want your hair cut and hell give you that exact cut due to his abilities which are high class. Also, as well as if he feels it wont fit you; he will make recommendations of which haircut/style would fit you best based on your head shape/hair type. Ive never been disappointed with a haircut hes given me and Im 100% sure you wont be either.

Rebecca Mohabir The ladies at the salon transformed my hair completely!! I came in with my hair in three different colors and they made it into a beautiful blonde. They took their time and got it all done in one day which is amazing. I am IN LOVE with my new hair color. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back for touch ups!!

Terri Lerman Paul is by far my most treasured hairstylist.I followed him from another salon to Spectrym Hair Salon.This salon is so classy,relaxing,warm and extremely professional.All the staff are friendly and do really beautiful work.After all the trauma my hair had been through from Chemotherapy and radiation,Paul knew how to nurse my hair back to life.He is an exceptional hairstylist and I would follow him anywhere.I think Paul has found his place at Spectrym Hair Salon with all the other professional and friendly hairstylists. I would recommend him to anyone interested in a very experienced, patient and kind hairstylist.

Jessica Chu-A-Kong Tony did a great job explaining why he was using certain techniques and showed me a few tips on styling. Best shampoo I’ve gotten as well and in and out in less than an hour!

Shafaq Fatima Got my hair cut my Yana today for the first time and I am in love. She really knows what shes doing and for the first time in my life, I can say that I didnt leave the salon dissatisfied with the result! The outcome was perfect, just what I had pictured! Shes so kind and professional! 10/10 recommend!!!

Daniel An Year old review, wouldnt say rude. The women there are older however they arent rude. Its not high end but for what its worth your getting the best. If your getting a hair cut dont be that person who moves while shes cutting your hair.

Kamila Ibatullina I had a great experience at this Salon. My mom and I got a haircut with Tarik and we are very happy with our results. The haircut I got is exactly what I envisioned—flattering and easy to maintain. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly. I left feeling refreshed and confident. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great haircut!

Elison Wu Wu Went last week with a friend and it was amazing! The staffs were really friendly and kind! I dyed my hair and my friend got a perm, the result was 10/10!! Really recommended
