5 /5 Jack Straw: Im not at all sure why this place is getting low reviews. What people dont seem to understand about getting clean and/or sober is that professionals like them cant help you if you dont want to listen, and put into practice what they tell you. Also, I had my best (completely voluntary, THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS FACILITY) Bible study groups here that Ive ever had, and the mandatory groups themselves I thought were quite progressive in their approach, and well moderated.
Listen, if you accept the help they offer and *really* mean it, you can begin your journey of recovery here. I did, and Ill have two years of sobriety in a couple weeks.I really couldnt have done it without this place either. They were a "port in a storm when I needed one the most. It was here that I also saw what my future could have in store for me if I kept up with my self-destructive ways. That fear then turned into motivation, and I havent lost it yet. Nor will I.
