Nasirbek Ismailov I visited my friend at Brooklyn College and it seemed like a really cool place. One thing that stood out is how diverse it is. You will meet people from all over the world. Plus, campus life is awesome, so if thats important to you, youll love it. And lets be real, its super affordable, which is a major bonus. Only downside I noticed was that the buildings could use a bit of a facelift.

Cristina Kukuyan My experience in this college was hell is wish I wouldnt have transfered here. 90% of professor dont care about you and they do not accommodate special situation . I was in a car accident and I wasnt understood or excused for it. The campus is dirty and often in bathrooms you will find incredibly big roaches. I didnt know roaches can fly until I saw one in the bathroom who scared the hell out of me. Stuff most of the time is very rude and cant tell you or explain you were to go if you need anything. Overall my college experience was hell and Im thankful Im transferring I rather do extra 12 miles with a peace of mind then struggle in here with a program that lowers your gpa and incompetent people around.

KIRA GREEN This school does not embody great leadership at all! Its like the blind leading the blind. Leaving students to get inadequate advice, guidance, resources, and results all while having student staff poorly advise each other while the higher ups get paid!!!! Issues go unresolved, and no one takes responsibility or accountability and constantly passes issues off from one person to another. Failing to have a proactive and clear approach in handling any issue adequately. Some of the staff are unprofessional, extremely rude, and unhelpful. After acceptance and the well played orientation, you are on your own!!! The only bottom line they care about is MONEY. Misadvising students to accept loans without prior knowledge or offering scholarships and tuition waivers without honoring them or providing inadequate financial advice or financial aid, especially to disadvantaged students. Save yourself the time, stress, aggravation, misguidance, and most of all, your money! This school is ran so poorly, they make CUNY seem like an ivy league!

Kikizz World I attended LIU Brooklyn for my first year of college, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this school—especially given how expensive it is as a private institution. The campus is small, and there are very few student activities. It felt like the only option was to attend class and then leave right away. The area surrounding the campus often felt unsafe, particularly at night. I had to take evening classes, and walking to the train station afterward made me fear for my safety due to the large presence of homeless individuals and those struggling with substance abuse in the area. The academic advising was extremely poor. In my first semester alone, I had three different advisors because they kept quitting. Due to this lack of consistent and helpful advising, I now have to spend an extra year in college to make up for misplanned courses. While at LIU, I struggled with depression and anxiety. Since transferring to a community college, I’ve received better advising, found more student involvement opportunities, and have been much happier and more supported overall. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL

Cristina Castaneda There is absolutely NO admin body, no support to students in any way in this school. NONE! My son is a current student trying for months to speak to his dean, with someone about his credits, and there is no response and terrible attitude from the assistants, both in person or by phone. I am even surprised that teachers show up to classes. Do not waste your money and time, it is ridiculous.

QUORA J Let me tell you—Medgar Evers College is a hidden gem that deserves way more credit than it gets. If you’re looking for a school that actually invests in its students, provides countless opportunities, and fosters a strong community, MEC is where it’s at. First off, the professors who care, REALLY care. Shoutout to Professor G. McMillan, Professor X. Rose, and Professor A. Okereke; they don’t play about making sure students get the knowledge and put in the work. The coursework? Challenging but rewarding. If you apply yourself, you’ll walk away sharper, more prepared, and ready to take on the world. Now, let’s talk about campus life, because MEC does not let students just come and go without offering experiences that make college worthwhile. The activities? Endless. Whether you’re into sports, Greek life, leadership programs, or student organizations, there’s a space for you to grow and thrive. And let’s not forget the trips. I’m talking about all-expenses-paid, knowledge-packed, fun-filled trips, both in and out of state, where you get to learn, connect, and explore in a new setting. And if you’re a foodie? The school is always throwing down with brunches, luncheons, dinners, and breakfasts that give students a chance to network while enjoying a good meal. The resources are consistently on point, both on and off-campus. Need financial assistance? There are scholarships and programs constantly being offered and awarded. Need motivation? MEC brings in influential Black leaders from high and low places to drop gems in powerful lectures. Need a community that respects and acknowledges your values and beliefs? MEC has that, too. And when it comes to big events and functions? MEC knows how to plan and execute for the benefit of its students. Whether it’s professional networking, academic enrichment, or just a celebration of culture and achievement, they show up and show out. Now, no school is perfect so some departments can be a little unorganized and some staff might make things more difficult than they need to be. BUT, there are many who step up, correct mistakes, and do their best to guide students in the right direction. The dedication from those individuals makes a huge difference. Final verdict? MEC is more than just a school, it’s a whole experience. If you take advantage of everything it has to offer, you’ll walk away with more than just a degree. You’ll walk away with knowledge, connections, experiences, and a stronger version of yourself. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend.

P Lu SFC is a small college but don’t underestimate the professors here. Most of the professors I’ve had are some of the most patience, sweet, and inspiring people. They are all unique in their own ways and genuinely care about your grades and your education. The new campus location is also very spacious and refreshing.

AnnaMaria Leal I am going to be a Sophomore this year and I couldnt be happier with the school. All the faculty and staff made the transition from high school to college very smooth. The faculty and staff care about how your are doing both academically and personally. From the minute I stepped through the door at my open house, I was automatically welcomed with open arms to the St. Francis College family. Everyone from the students to the faculty members are friendly as well, it is really easy to find a solid group of people who will be by your side for a long time. Its also the perfect school for students who want to be highly involved on campus. There are lots of opportunities from department jobs, to research assistants, to clubs and sports teams. I myself am a member of two of their 21 NCAA Division 1 teams, as well as a handful of other clubs and organizations on campus, from Student Government to the Latin American Society. This is the perfect school for someone who wants to be an individual and find themselves, rather than just be one of a few thousand. In just one year I have felt myself grow so much and I cant wait to see what else SFC has in store for me.

Heather Wimberly I know several people who went to Pratt including an architect that I worked with in the 1980’s and my daughter and her classmates. Let me just say that both my professional associate and my daughter are extremely successful in their fields of endeavor and are generally happy, well adjusted human beings. I loved the campus because it reminded me of Harvard Yard where I attended school back in the dark ages. I did hear that the Pratt Cats were relocated during the pandemic and have not returned to the campus, which is a great loss. Here’s to reinstating the Pratt Cat tradition as soon as possible!

Moscow Newyork Classes quality of SATURDAY ART SCHOOL is extremely low. Uninspiring teachers and lazy curriculum. I would not recommend to spend your time and money here. Both of my 8 yo and 12 yo were bored to death. When I expressed my concerns the principal, teachers and curators refused to address them : “if you don’t like something, it’s your problem”. When I asked for a refund it was denied as well. Please contact me if you are a concerned parent thinking to enroll your child. I’ll share the details.

Nicole As far as the graduate nursing program goes, to say the least, there is room for improvement. Although most of the teachers were knowledgeable, there was one instructor who was both disorganized and maniacal. She single handedly ruined the experience and many of my classmates grades because she was unable to provide consistent instruction for multiple semesters. Her ineptitudes and inappropriateness were brought to light however the program continues to struggle under her instruction. Additionally, the behind the scenes aspects like health clearance are also wildly disorganized, last minute and rude. WHAT A MESS!

Douglas Rollo 9/10 times Professors are great. Every school has a couple of poor professors. Scheduling is terrible. Not enough classes offered. They will most likely not accommodate. You must accommodate to them sometimes feels like the school will not work with you. Very Frustrating. Classes themselves are mostly good. Parking is usually not a huge issue. School has potential to be 5 stars but lack of classes available and consistent poor schedules block that potential. I put 3 but I would give it 2 1/2

Darin Wilson I absolutely love this school. If I’m picking knits, they’re a smidge understaffed depending on your major, but if you put in even the slightest effort, you can get as good an education here as just about anywhere else. I’d steer away from the online courses personally, but to each their own. Any criticisms I have, however, are monstrously overshadowed by the location alone. It’s a dreamy place to ponder the arts, and minutes away from a nearly infinite array of legendary locales. You can get a life’s worth of educating without even attending a class. The collegiate experience is like a super bonus. The classes are generally fine, and some are phenomenal, like poetry and music in cinema, and pretty much all my history courses were awesome. I had one “bad” class, but that’s a pretty standard college experience no matter where you go…so I’d go here again and again, if for nothing else, the location alone. Brilliant pubs and restaurants right around the corner, so if you have a terrible professor, again pretty common no matter the school, just pop out for a beer and a snack to take the edge off. Good to go. Go Bears!!!

B H Here for one year and seriously regret it. The adviser for the business department decided to take vacation in the week the students needed her the most and no one else was put to fill in her spot. You had to make appointment with the chair by emailing him/her. By then your classes are definitely gone. Science is the worse here. Security on campus think theyre cops. 75% of bathroom are broken. The elevator in Ingersoll was broken all semester long of fall2017. The staffs in regular advisement really doesnt wanna bother with you. Students are mostly self absorbed individuals. Majority of the smart ones dont wanna help you cause ya know "survival of the fittest" 2 stars cause it has a pretty campus.

Samuel Blake Jennings I am a second year student at Feirstein. I had to take time off due to having health issues and the staff and community has overall been very supportive. For the money the facilities are very nice and over all the atmosphere is a positive one which is not always the case at more well-known universities. One of the best aspects of Feirstein is that it has a very diverse student body and it’s rewarding connecting with other minority filmmakers with similar perspectives. Unfortunately the people who run it aren’t as diverse and like any college this school has a real clique problem, but many of the teachers here are deeply passionate about what they do and I’ve made quite a few friends. I had a lot of trouble my first year because I found out my interest was in post production and not on set filmmaking. I had to change my entire track but the administration was very flexible with me. The school is currently in the midst of a big curriculum change so my main advice is to keep in close touch with your advisors and faculty just so you don’t get confused by where you are in your program and about what classes you need to take. This was a consistent problem with a lot of my peers. Also the equipment while good (they have RED and Alexa cameras) can often be unreliable so be prepared to quadruple check everything when preparing for shoots.
