Floyd Bushey Yes the school is small but a great looking campus( yea-to much purple) but it is charming and I loved living on campus. I could not have asked for better professors who actually wanted to teach. I have worked in higher education for over 20 years and one thing EC has going for it that you make lifelong friends along with getting a decent education.
It will not appeal to everyone, but no school does. If you are looking for a good solid education along with having life long relationships than EC can be the school for you

Theresa St. John Wonderful campus! Founded as a college for women in 1855, it is the oldest existing college granting degrees to women that were the equivalent of those given to men. Elmira College became coeducational in all of its programs in 1969. Nice place to wander around, visit the Mark Twain Study, bookshop, fountain. Well-kept grounds. If it had been warmer, I would have grabbed a book and read on a bench by the little pond there for an hour or so. I got to see the room they are working on inside the campus - so many rare books! Impressive collection!

Yhon Alexander Salvatierra Its an amazing college as long as you are an international student coming from a 3rd world country. The education is great depending your program. The food is decent for what you pay but the health care center and the health insurance they make you get are ridiculous expensive. Overall you wont regret coming here and get a great education, which is what it matters at the end!
